## Transcript

oh my god look at this Mike look at this shenanigans going on here popcorn shenanigans I'm Mike Dimas and this is pinball shenanigans Okay, I'd like to give a quick super thanks, shout out to my Greek brother, Sharax, who has contributed 10 euros to the channel, and he says that. which apparently is pronounced E-F-I-X-A-R-U-S-T-O-M-E, which apparently means we thank you. So thanks, brother. Much appreciated. And if you want to give us super thanks, then I will give you a super shout out. Welcome to Pinburgh 2025. This may be the coolest trophy to have ever existed in the history of pinball. Been here for a little bit. This is Wednesday. This is the warm-up tournament that's going on right now. Actually, I see Shawnee Boy over there. He's still alive. Let's go for a little tour. Show you what Pinberg looks like this year. Last year was the comeback of Pinberg. there was around 140 players. This year they've pretty much doubled up. It's got the registration desk here. I believe there's 240 or so players this year. This is what we're all playing for. Bash at the Berg. Pump and Dump. Wicked Cool. Mian Sign. Women's Tournament. First place. And then, Hindenburg 2025 A Division champion will get this insane Attack from Mars inspired trophy. And, oh, first place for B Division and C Division. And then, Steel City Strikes. Maybe Shawnee Boy can take this home. So, they didn't have machines down here last year. So this is part of the expansion. I'll just do a quick sweep around here. Looks like we've got Arvid playing Funhaus. He's been killing it lately. Just did Steel Sweeper City Tournament, now Pinburg, and I think off to the East next weekend. Let's go check in with Sean quick. You playing Arvid? Who else is in the group? Okay, well, good luck. You're going to need it. Okay, so there's some more machines around here. Bank number 25. There's 25 banks total. Four games in each bank. You do the math. 100 machines. Plus, here is the gauntlet. So you gotta do five tasks in as quick of time as possible. On Avengers, lock one ball in the Avengers Tower. Deadpool, start Little Deadpool. Stranger Things, lock one ball on the left ramp. Jurassic Park, hit the letter C. James Bond, start a villain mode, which is hit the right ramp. Now this is a really cool bank here. We've got Dune, Jaws 50th Anniversary, Merlin's Arcade from Turner Pinball, and Space Hunt by Hexa Pinball. I can't wait to check these things out. I don't think I've ever played either of those games. Alright, so that was kind of the loop. Now we'll head upstairs and show you the rest of the lay of the land. We've got the bar. Movie Importante. Front and center. I'll just comb around everywhere. Free popcorn. This is a movie theater, so it only makes sense. Hey, I hear crickets. There's Frontier. And then, I don't think I'll go up and down every single bank. Or will I? Oh, I see Jason Zoller, like, champion of the world right now. I believe, number one. you'll see a lot of the best players in the world here. I mean, there's 240 players, but probably like 500 people at least that wanted to be here. Pinburg in its prime, as you probably know. Hey, Mike! I used to have 1,000 players and would sell out within like one minute. There's Jason's father, also a pretty damn good player, Mr. Steven Zoller. Three strikes tournament still going on as I mentioned. This is the one that did me in. I didn't chalk my cue or something very well and failed epically on that. So got some live stream action here. Oh, this is Ninja Eclipse. Also by Turner Pinball. That was the first game I played. Some troubleshooting going on over here. There's the big screen. Lots of popcorn. Lots of pin sets. Core machines. What's good about the 3 strike is you get to practice on all of these machines. You know, warm up for the big event tomorrow. Here's the streaming rig, we got Fox Cities Pinball. this crazy equipment and gear. Some Fox cities. Top ten get paid. Alright, come on, shiny boy. Bring home some bacon. Okay, this area here like last year is the bash at the bird pump and dump 20 bucks for eight entries it's going to get costly i'm going to be doing a lot of pumping and a lot of dumping hopefully more pumping than dumping home around check out the action check out the intensity sean just took a strike on black rose What's up, dude? A lot of familiar faces, including me, shenaniganders. Look at this. Julie, if you can see, is in ninth, no, eighth place right now. Are you still alive? No? Are you out of the tournament? Uh, okay. Yes, the best spot ever. What time is qualifying? Whoa, who is this guy? I gave him the hardest strike of his life on Iron Man. But who lasted longer? Are you still? Uh, shit. Touche. I just got knocked out by Jim Belsito and Luke Cornia. Oh, okay, yeah. I got a strike from Luke as well. All right, I'll finish doing a little tour and then try and get in a couple games. But I'll comb around here. show. So here's the queues on this big screen. And then the standings on this big screen here. We got Galvin Morgan in first. David Riel in second. Paul Englert in third. He just won the Sweeper City Championships last weekend in Ohio. We got Stern, Dracula, Rush, Stars. I heard there's actually a post between the flippers this year so that's good. Foo Fighters Twilight Zone 24. Uh oh this is a bank here okay this is where Teal has just ran the uh Barrels of Fun uh barrel ball tournament and I might as well uh throw in that video right now. Ready? Ready? Winner gets that playfield. This is the finals of the barrel ball tournament here on Labyrinth. Winner gets this brand new shiny Dune playfield. Check this out. Are you ready everyone? Good luck and thanks for making it. Oh, he put it on standard play. Shenanigans, I tell you. Alright, we just gotta wait for it to reset. Teal is... You screwed up already. Alright, we got a second and third place prize now. Barrel of fun t-shirts. There we go. Okay, so the idea here... Is to hit a white shot. I want you with the laser. Yep. They get an exit left as soon as they hit a white shot. See, that's why I moved. I would have got barreled right over, unintended. So, you can't really see, but if you drain a ball, you're out. If you tilt, you're out. If you hit a red shot, you're out. I got eliminated earlier. My first attempt I played for like two minutes. I couldn't hit a single shot. Bill Mason, winner of the Steel City Strikes tournament here last year. Amy, you did five rounds last time. More than anybody. All right, Danny's good. Six for six. We've all had a feel of it now. Mike and Tommy have one strike. That was loud, by the way. Bill, without a strike. Oh, everyone has a strike. Okay, when you're eliminated, you're gone. Tommy. This is it. You drain your M. Down to five. Uh-oh. That doesn't sound good. Nice try, Amy. Come on, everybody. Yeah, this is a bubble. Down to four. Prize pool bubble. No! That's it, Tommy. Nice try. Oh! Oh! Go, baby, go! All right, let's get Kaylee and Bill and Chris. Okay, and then Bill. Congratulations. That's Bill. Let's get a photo of the three of you right here. All right, there it is. that was fun barrels of fun so yeah that was a pretty fun little uh what do you call it stall ball format tournament so all kinds of tournaments and fun going on this year there's the gauntlet tournament That's also new. The Stalaball Tournament. Oh. A bunch of Michigan boys over here. Mr. Trent Augustine and Andy Rosa. What's up, boys? Some of my favorite peoples. Buy your pinball machines at Tilt Amusements. Probably got a bunch of King Kongs right now ready to rock and roll. Or are you all sold out? A little bit of everything. All right, there you have it. okay so pretty much covered everything I'll sweep around to the rest of the bash at the bird games and then I gotta go actually do some playing so stranger things I know that game future spa actually I currently own stranger things future spot and demolition man and iron maiden so that's kind of handy oh i gotta show you uh i'm gonna show you this other game that's in the pump and dump here this is interesting we got high hand mars trek which is awesome and then we have superstore the theme is playing pinball A bunch of guys and girls hanging out at an arcade, I'm guessing. Look at this playfield. It's got like two sets of clippers. It's got a like roly-poly roulette wheel in the middle. Five pop-upers. And two possible gobble holes. Anyway, that's a game where you'll be doing way more dumping than pumping. so I may stay away from that one. So that is the lay of the land of Pinberg 2025. And good action for Wednesday. Lots of good warming up. Tomorrow it begins. All right, day one is over, but on the way out, we have to try a little bit of space hunt. Oh, fun. and Merlin's magic. But yeah, see if you can get the little upper play field here. He's got a little dangly dude here. Kind of like junkyard-ish. What's the little guys in the back? Those are kind of funky. Okay, they're like flashers. Yeah. Little ghosty flashers. He's got kind of like the fishtails sort of ramp in the middle. A lot of steel and metal ramps. It looks like it's well made. It does really look like it's well made. It's got art blades. It's got a drop target there that lights up. Oh, and it's like glowy, you said. Yeah. Got some stuff going on over here. Oh, I accidentally just launched the ball. Uh-oh, I guess you're going to die. Or no, it's just we're taking too long. It's good. All kinds of fun stuff here. Here, let's do a split flipper. It's going to ball save us. I don't think I've ever tried to record while playing split clipper before. All right. So what's lit up? The pinky thing in the middle. Let's go pinky. Oh, I got a scoop, though. I'll zoom out a bit. Hold on, hold on. Okay, I'm going to zoom out a bit so we can see the display, too. Get in there. Still haven't made it up to that. Hey, I see a penny on the floor. Oh, I already found a nickel earlier. But we still haven't made it up to that mini playfield yet. And you can't really hear the machine. I want to hear the music. Hear the infamous space hunt music. Come on! All right, we're going to play one more ball. Okay. This is supposed to be a three-player game, but oh well. I don't know what player this is. Back to player one. Oh, I got a good skill shot. Oh, a skill shot. Okay, let's go right ramp. Oh, that actually worked. Oh, combo. Let's try that left scoop. Spinner action. Oh, that's a 180 degree ramp there, the yellow one. No! Oh, we've got to try and spell hunt in the outlanes. All right, let's try one more ball. This is kind of fun. Okay. But we don't know how to get up here. Oh, it's this ramp. Where does it... It comes from here. Oh, I think it's here. You've got to hit that target, and then it comes up in here. Oh, behind the ghost target. All right. So we need to hit the ghost target. Okay, here we go. Okay, I was able to see last time. What did I do different? Okay, here we go. But it's not lit. No, we've got to maybe hit it to light it. Get up there. Oh, there's another ghosty drop target over here. Look. See it lit up. And that one lit up. Okay, well, let's try to hit it. Stuff is happening. Oh, but that's okay. Trying to spell hunt. Oh, no, don't you dare. All right. Okay, let's check out some Merlin's Arcade. All right, I'm going to have a look at what's going on over here. Merlin's Arcade. There's a shaker motor in this apparently. It's by... Don't you dare try again. Turner Pinball. Forget that witch. Of course you'll try again. Did the ball get stuck? No, it just shook itself. We've got to get it out of the oven. This is a little arcade game. A bunch of cool figures. So this is Turner Pinball's second machine, I guess. Ninja Eclipse is the first one. Fun little toys. Hey, let's do split flipper game. Sean, I'll show you something perfect. Okay, Sean wants to show me something. What do we got? We got the three flippers, a bunch of pool balls on the right. That's kind of cool. Looks like kind of pretty much just one ramp on the left Ready Yeah here we go All right It got the tap pass flippers Two additional flippers Let's see that again. That's pretty cool. Okay, here we go. Tap pass flipper. Sweet! That's never been done before. Oh, that is a friggin' foosball guy. Foosball guy. Okay. That's neat as well. Here it is! How cool is that? That really actually spins pretty good. I like the sound of the pool balls. Oh, the tap pass on the fly. Almost got a full rack here, just needs a four ball. Here it is. Go for a four ball. That is really interesting with the advent of the tap pass flippers. So, what else do we got in Merlin's Arcade? We got dice, foosball, pool table, got an ice cube with a skull in it. Darts. Where's the darts? Air hockey. Air hockey and darts. Is there a pinball machine at the arcade? Is that Sherpa? Sherpa? Alley? Air hockey, tarts, foosball, pinball. Pinball is the left ramp. Shuffle alley on the left. The scoop on the right is lit for something. Oh, you almost got some pinball. Oh. Is that game over? First ball. Okay. we're gonna we'll split flip a ball here probably not the best playing game ever Oh pinball EM play EM pinball okay that's where we locker balls those inlanes are different not your typical Italian bottom as they would say Okay, let's go. Scoop. That's a tight scoop. Oh, nice. Oh, baby. Or lockable. I'll try it. I'll be the scoop guy. You be the lock guy. Oh! Wow. Oh, it's got, like, cool, like, lighting on the sides. I didn't even notice that. like built-in PinStadiums or expression lights. I don't think I can backhand that ramp, so let's go, Scoop. Or tap pass. Oh yeah, tap pass. There we go, there we go. One more. We'll see you up there again. Okay. No. Oh, I looked at the camera! I looked at the camera! Oh no! I blew it! Alright, well, we gotta get out of here so we can get some rest, but pretty cool, pretty cool. Alright, we made it to our Airbnb, and I gotta say, I did a fine job in choosing this place. I have just barely scratched the surface so far, but it's actually huge and pretty awesome. Look at all this space. Did you guys check out this back deck? Look at this. No. Look at this. Little breakfast table. I hear crickets. There's frontier here. Is there a frontier machine somewhere? Can't really see but this is pretty awesome Okay, we've got to go find bedrooms now Get dibs So there's labels on everything Second bathroom in basement get this should we go for a quick tour? Is there a light? all kinds of stuff down here is there a bedroom down here holy crap a whole friggin apartment down here fridge sink laundry more laundry second bathroom nice all right all kinds of storage extra supplies this is maybe the most well-labeled Airbnb I've ever been to. Okay. So we got the whole place, eh? No neighbors or tenants to deal with. Powder room. Is there three bedrooms? I don't know. Let's find out. Why? Do you only find two bedrooms so far? Yeah. Oh, no. I'm claiming one. I got this one. Got dibs. I want to be by the bathroom. Ooh. It's a beautiful room. Wow. Did I do a good job picking? Well, for two of three people who get beds. What's this? Third bedroom upstairs. Oh, third bedroom upstairs. Oh, is it fucking hot as hell out here? Oh, shit. It's a little toasty. Let's see if there's AC. God, no, but the keys are on the table. Oh, my God. ew that is gross up here it's kind of musty it's uh yeah a little little rank dank and got a bit of a stank oh my god nobody can survive up here this is gross wow i'm out here cannot survive up there Wow. Okay. Everything's good up until this point here. Just lock Julie in. Why are you locking the door open? It's like a sauna up there. That's where the murder's happening. I think you just have to open it. The murder's upstairs. Yeah, open the door and let some air up there. Okay. What else we got? Shedder. Yeah, with the cool green tile. All right. Well, that's the tour of the Airbnb. who is gonna get the couch. What we do need to do here is have everybody stand up and look at Doug. Doug, the lead tournament director, is here with the camera to take care of all of us. Get in the shot. Annual group photo time. The good news is no one has been eliminated yet. The bad news is that's today. The top 24 players in each division will be qualifying for finals in your respective divisions. You will not see anyone outside your division today, and you'll be fighting with all those people while also being friends with them. Good luck. Have a great day. Okay, just a little brief update on the way to my bank. Yesterday was qualifying. Five rounds of four games. And how you performed yesterday determined how you will be seated today. I ended up darn near the very bottom of the 244 players and would have been in the C division. Yes, that's right, C division. If it weren't for the fact that I am restricted, so I was forced up to the B division. and I'm literally in last place in the B division. So goal today is to climb up to the top 24 from the basement, try and do the playoffs dance tomorrow. So here's my bank. Wish me luck. All right, the action is in full swing here. I'm just going to walk through. I'm on the exact opposite side. Currently playing my second round of the day. But, you know, just wanted to do a little tour of all the action, all the players. This is the Bash at the Berg pump and dump side tournament. It is quiet during the rounds. But check this out. As bad as I'm doing in the regular main event. I'm holding my own. In the Bash at the Berg. Tenth place currently. There's a lot of top names up there. What is my name doing? What is my name doing up here with all these guys? What's the one thing that's not like the others? Top 40 move on, so I'd like to think that I shouldn't bleed out 30 spots. But I mean, qualifying is going on all day. It's around noon. And qualifying... Oh, yeah. I don't even need to say anything. I just point the old Void and Requeue t-shirt I'm wearing today. So, it probably shouldn't take too long because my group may have actually started playing some Star Pool right now. But, there's the group in front of us. looks like they're just starting to write down their scores so I got a minute are you kicking butt on Star Wars? I'm probably going to get a third ok that's not last oh and there's Shani there's the streaming rig over there so that's probably the top group Well, Shani's going to play some Lethal Weapon 3. Alright, I should probably go over to my group here because... Oh, wait. No, they're still writing down scores. But here's my bank. I like this bank. Attack from Mars, Starpool, Whitewater, and Frontier. Alright, wish me luck. It's a pretty cool vantage point from up here. We're all pretty even on Starpool right now, but I also just noticed... all the banners! From previous years. maybe one day see a ick up there let's take a closer look at these banners starting in 2011 we got Keith Elwin 2012 Adam Becker Keith Elwin Belcido Zach Sharp Keith Elwin Colin MacAlpine Keith Elwin the OG goat and now we have the new Goat, Jason Zoller, 2024 champion. What is this? Papa, Hall of Fame, World Champion, Builder, Lyman Sheets. And then Women's Champion 2018, Nicole Bernier. Holly Cosson. Probably saying that wrong. Coss-canon for 2019. And then 2024, Deborah Talman. Okay, round three is over for today. There's some Ontarians there. Shane Jackson. I see Julie over there. I got a whopping two. So the odds of me qualifying for the B Division finals is basically zero at this point. But before I drop down any further, I got to document this. That is my saving grace for the weekend. Seventh place in the bash at the Berg. That Dracula just bumped me up there. Took me a while to figure out a good strategy on Dracula. But we got a secret strategy and we're not telling anybody. What you do is you hit the upper drop targets down twice. You light the special, which is in the left in lane, and then you shat the in lane for 50k on the way up and 50k on the way down. That's how Teolas just got 900,000 on this. I got a two. I got a two also. Hey, all right. Twos. Shenanigans. Yeah. Yes, shenanigans. You know it. Jason Werdrick, fellow shenanigander. All right. Moving on. It's dinner time. All right, this is the stern gauntlet. You must achieve five simple tasks as fast as you can. And you have to do it in under three minutes. And we got Todd McCullough here, who's going to show us how it's done. He was just telling me that he had a pretty good first run. Maybe about a minute and a half. He's in the top maybe four or five right now. So he's going to try and improve and he's off. All right, hit the green button, start the timer. Just need to lock a ball. Boom. Little on Deadpool. He's got a lock a ball and little Deadpool. hit a couple drop targets, get the ball to stay in there. As soon as it stays in there, you've officially started the multiball, and then you can walk away. You don't need to. There it is. Stranger things. Just need one left ramp to lock a ball. Lock is already ready to go. Do not need to hit the targets in front of it. So he's got to survive the plunge. Here he is, a little bit early. Struggling on Stranger Things here. Don't think he's going to improve on his last time, but this is good for me to figure out how this is all done because I'm going to be queuing up shortly. It's good to study and see what it is. There it is. Okay. Jurassic Park. Just got to hit the letter C. Boom. And 007, you just got to hit the Billin ramp, which is the bottom right ramp. And here it is. Oh, a little bit late. Maybe another crack at it. A little ski jump. Still got lots of time left. There it is. Gotta run, hit the button. Boom! 1.21 left. Good run, good run! Alright that's it boys and girls. That's it for me anyways. Round 10 of Pinbird. It's in the books. Cheers. So, after getting a 6 and an 8 and a 2 in the first three rounds, I thought my hopes and dreams were pretty much over. Then I played this bank, and I got first on Attack from Mars, first on Starpool, first on Whitewater, and I'm thinking, shit, if I can get a Pinberg perfect round medal, that would salvage everything. That would be bucket list hardware dream come true. On Frontier, a game I know very well. My one opponent had a lead on me after ball two. On ball three, I had a good ball three. Surpassed and had a lead going in. So player two dies. Player three, I'm at about 500,000. Player three has maybe 100,000 or something. Manages to get four bonus collects. and crushes my hopes and dreams, but such is pinball. So I was two balls away from a friggin' perfect round, and that was round nine. Round ten that just happened, I ended up with an eight. I have to set my beer down every time I want to adjust the zoom. Hey, man, you're shaking the game. Tom says every time he hears that on his rush machine, he thinks it's me. It sounds like me. So I've been waiting for the moment to do that to him. So rounds are finishing up here. It's like actually 10 o'clock too. So the pump and dump is wrapping up. No more queuing up. I just finished my round, so I don't have any time to queue up. So I thought I'd do a little wrap-up video for today. So the last round, I got an 8. And I don't know. Maybe there's the slightest, slightest, slightest remote chance that I could end up in the playoffs, but not likely. Here's Shane on Stingray. He's having a pretty decent game here. actually a very good game you get around 600 700 thousand on this game that would be money let's go check the stats and see where I'm at I had a decent game on Iron Maiden last game I played hey shiny boy and check this out sitting in fifth place like WTF. So I think qualifying is done for tonight except for a volunteer hour. And then maybe something like... There's some qualifying hours tomorrow. But top 40 qualify in this event, which was won by Chris Stevens last year. and I don't think I'm going to be bleeding out 35 spots. I think I'm pretty safe. Oh by the way they got this back room here too for this year Didn show that in my initial tour because I didn even know that was a thing So this is, what day is this? Friday? Tomorrow is playoffs for A, B, and C divisions and for Bash at the Berg, I believe. And then Sunday, it's the women's. There's a lot of players in the women's. It's going to be pretty big. We'll be rooting on Julie. How did Shane end up? It's not bad. Not bad. Oh, extra ball. That's cool. You made playoffs? I don't know if I made playoffs yet. I made playoffs. You made playoffs? I made playoffs. Yeah, that a boy. All right, we got some Ontario representation after all in the B division cuz Who else T olus? I heard he didn't make the playoffs But you know Sean didn't I don't know about Julie So my dreams are not crushed yet. There's still some some Possibility hope that's the word. I'm looking for it. Thank you. I've had a couple of these all right, so Congrats dude, that's awesome All right. Mr. Well, hopefully, hopefully you'll see Shane round one and kick his ass. All right. So time for beer and then time for bed. Cheers to Pinberg 2025. All right. We keep walking by this giant rubber ducky machine, and I need me one. I need to win one. All right. Let's go. What are you going to do with it, though? That's my question. It's going on your dashboard. Okay. That might be really big, though. I want a gold ducky. Oh, I should have a dollar bill. Here we go. It's fake. Is it fake? Reject. Here we go. Should be about $10.25. Okay, which is the good one to win? Which looks like... I want something with glitter on it, Matt. Glitter. Glitter. Oh, I see one. I see one. Here we go. Hold on, hold on. How much time do I got? Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Show me the money! Get in there. Wow, that's bullshit. Alright, I give. Time for a little midnight snack at Little Nippers. Check this out. Deep dish pizza. You want to dish me out one and we'll show you what it looks like. Just a small guy here. Just a small guy. Oh yeah, look at that. That's some good advertising. Oh, shenanigans right there. Okay, here we go. There we go. That's some cheese. That's like three feet of cheese. Alright, it is Saturday. Hindenburg 2025. This was the schedule. Friday and Saturday is finals day. Let's go for a quick tour. So I think right now in the A Division, it is the round of 16 players left. Here's some of the action here. We got the action being streamed on the big screen. Stunning out a little bit. Oh, by the way, this is what $7.80 US will buy you, a vat of Diet Coke, which I need to set down so I can zoom out a bit and we can see what's actually going on here. Too zoomed in. So we got crowds starting to form here. I'll be joining soon. But I just bought eight more entries for the Bash at the Berg. Because I haven't played any pinball yet today. And it is probably somewhere around 1pm. Qualifying is going on until 5pm. I'm not going to bleed out, but I need to warm up. I need to practice. and you know try and improve my my standings I'm pretty comfortable where I'm at I haven't really bled down much I was as high as fifth at one point actually looks like I'm tied for sixth right now my future spa score is actually held up I got the number one score in future spa with 900,000. I was pretty sure at some point someone was going to knock that down and was going to drop 10 points, but that hasn't seemed to happen yet, so I'm in queue for 24, which Shawnee Boy right now is playing. He's a little near the cut line, like around maybe 25th. Again, top 40 will make it to the playoffs, which is a three-strike format. And the top 20 will get paid. And it should be a pretty healthy payday. Last year was a pretty healthy payday. But this year, there's twice as many people. In other news, Shane... Poor Shane. He just got eliminated. You qualified, but stars was not good to you. Nothing was good to Shane. So he's over here trying to... Where are you? Are you going to make the cut on this? All right, well, you're not above the line yet? No? All right, get back to work. So cues are kind of deep now. here have a look stranger I mean 24 oh I'm right after Sean all right I better better get over there but these are the cues here and Bill burn bombs taking a moment to contemplate here maybe I'm distracting him by standing right beside him so I'll get out of his hair so we can focus on Dracula. It is under one of the blue seats on the left. Bowen Kerins was sitting on that seat last I checked. All right. Anyway, once we get down to the nitty gritty in the A playoffs, maybe I'll film some of that. Here we have your final four at Pinberg 2025. ZMAC, Jason Zoller, David Riel. And Arvid Ligeri looks like we're going to be playing this same bank that the semifinals were just held on. And there is Doug with the cool trophy for first place. Oh, we can see it on the delay. Watch it on the screen. Here it is. Oh, that's not the delay. That's live. Atiolis and Bowden commentating the action. It's what they're playing for. Pinberg 2025 pride, some cash and the hardware. The good size of a hawk. That's like a tiny little thing. But this is all you should have. This is what you need. There's so much sugar in that. How many times did we refill this? It's Diet Coke, so it's good for you. Ask Mr. Shenanigans how many times he's been killed. All weekend long. He's got his name on the top. That's mine. He brought it back from the dead. This is like number seven for the weekend. I'm getting my $7.80 worth. No mess. You want a sip? Ask the doctor how his insides look. His cholesterol is high. Is this a little aspartame? All right, boys and girls. We're literally down to the last game of Pinberg 2025. And it is going to be on Black Hole. Who can escape the Black Hole? We shall see. We've got a bit of a crowd watching the big screen here. And I don't know that the scores are updated. but the commentary action is going strong here. What's up, commentary team? Teolis, Stephen Fowden, Bo and Karen, some Brian Dye here. Can't wait to watch this all back. We've got the Canadian row over here. We've been feeding Coy Morris Canadian snacks, including ketchup chips. but I should get out of the way because I'm right in front of the final game so exciting stuff alright it's official boys and girls we have our winner this is Jason Zoller he is the winner of Pinberg 2025 so I will video the award presentation here. Try and just find a spot that I'm not in people's way. I'm sorry. There it is. Black hole. Jason employed a pretty unique strategy and shot this saucer like about 100 times over and over again. And it looks like he has popped into the booth there for a minute for a little post-game interview. There's your winner. Good job, Fox Cities. don't forget to watch everything back on Fox Cities on Twitch Tom and the team did an amazing job their rig is very impressive all kinds of electronics back here it's very impressive but oh here comes the trophy here comes the hardware right on black hole it's perfect all right i got a good spot right here for the award presentation so i'll wait till uh jason's done with his interview and uh uh Shane wants me to get a close up but I already got a couple videos and photos of the action but just for good measure here you go alright looks like the award presentation is about to begin alright thanks everyone for coming to Denver it was great here it was awesome Thank you to all the volunteers. Oh, I hate microphones. It's fine. Don't worry, Neil, you're not getting a plaque. It's okay. We're going to do our top goal. We're going to get our stuff. In fourth place, a local, DJ Real. Woo! In third place, I'm going to say it wrong, Arvin, speak it up. In second place, Dak McCarthy. And in third place, back-to-back years, Jason Zoller. I can't just say that. I think it's all good. That's it, boys and girls. Hennberg 2025 has come to an end. It's getting bigger and better each year. We'll be starting in 15 minutes from now, or 7.15. All players please report to the bash bag. We're going to do a roll call and then immediately get started. Alright, time to bash at the Berg now. They do this for our benefit. They give up not only days and the weekend, they give up weeks and months to prepare all of this for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Time to give away a free pinball machine. You've been waiting for the draw for a new in box stern pinball machine. If you play 10 rounds, you get your name in the ballot. If you play eight different games at Bash of the Bird, you get another ballot. And for every entry you purchased in the gauntlet, you got a ballot. So up to five ballots. Tom Graff, let's hear it for Tom in Fox Cities Pinball. My goodness, they did a wonderful job. And right now, Tom is going to press the button. The name that comes up here wins a new Stern pinball machine. Tom, hit it. Button pressed. Oh, he's sweating. All right. Spin the wheel, man. I got five entries. I got the max amount of entries. Here we go. Yes, yes, yes. Who's that guy? Jose won with the box. Where's Jose? Congrats, Jose. New in box. Stern pinball machine. Everyone, thank you very much. Don't forget, win is tomorrow. We're going to see you in Madisonburg. Thank you very much. All right, Pinburgh is over. None of us won shit. No, no, no. I did complete the gauntlet with 41 seconds left. It didn't get me into the playoffs, but I completed the gauntlet. This could be the biggest win of Pinburgh right here. We didn't win the pinball machine. We didn't win the hardware. We didn't win cash, but the women's is starting tomorrow too so you could win that but We're taking home a rubber ducky a blinged out gold or green rubber ducky perhaps Maybe maybe Shawnee wants a pink rubber ducky. All right, he's got his stance He's lining up the coordinates. I can hear his brain Oh, he's going blue. That's a gamble. He's a gambling man. Let's see. All right. Here we go. Oh, my God. It's promising. Promising. Oh, no. Loser. All right. Final day of Pinburgh. The women's event. How many women are in this tournament? 70, 60, 76, I think they're not safe. And you played two rounds so far? Three. Three rounds. No, you're not paying attention. And what seed are you in right now? I know the answer to this. Seventh. Seventh seed, oh yeah. I'm going to not shit the bed in the next two rounds. Yeah, Lady Luck, Flight 2000, and Family Guy. so you kick some butt but pinberg is also at a movie theater so um we may just uh shawnee boy and i go kill a little bit of time there's a movie i've been wanting to see it i heard it's like the best movie in the history of movies and uh i gotta see if they have it so let's go ask this nice lady hello do you have the ick yeah i don't think so do you have the movie the ick i don't think so you don't oh man that's like i heard the best movie in the history wait wait wait hold on let's try so wait you have the Ick? We will have it at 4 o'clock. Absolutely. Alright. I didn't even see that myself. I was gonna say, okay. I've never heard of this. No? It's like the best movie in the history of movies. My nickname is Ick. That's why. It can't be possible. It can't be possible that it's this. Don't touch the Ick, they say. Okay. We're not gonna do that. I told ya. Number one movie of all time in theater number one. Ick. I didn't realize we got the friggin best seats in the house check that out boom all right we finished her movie I guess Julie unfortunately did not make the playoffs top 16 made it there's the hardware right there so looking for Julie and I finally found her there she is thought I might find you here doing some commentary so that's fun we'll stick around for the finals for a little bit and then we're out of here oh I see myself on stream yeah there's the delay I'm walking away talking to myself one star left oh my god he hit it playing a buck her special so it's only the first time Sean's lit a star special is lit it's on the orange star we're doing buck a special but it changes with switch hits oh it wasn't there it's like forever changing oh here we go need the special 100 grand it's on the low it's on the lower oh we've probably played 20 games each but sean has one star left to go he needs a white one at the top oh my god he's close that was close that was close oh wait hold on he's He's got it! Where's the special? Oh my god, this could be it, this could be it. I got a like, buck a special. Oh but we doing it again now Yeah right because as soon as you hit a switch it gonna change What he gonna do Oh A change Oh my god Where is it where is it? No, yeah, sometimes you gotta guess. Oh Shit, this is trouble. Is he gonna tap it? Is he gonna tap it shots it post? post pass it right to the drain oh my god oh thank god it changed hey god where you know Oh top left top left you can't see it going for the spinner it's changing changing changing where is it oh oh there's trouble finally finally ah no I just lost a dollar yeah all right virtual jump rope time we're gonna show you how it's done these guys You guys have a system, a Chuck E. Cheese. Dimas is trying to get points. Fastest speed. Okay, don't mess it up. Oh, they broke it. They're gonna try it one more time. They had a whole system going. Okay, here we go, gotta focus. 40 again! If you jiggle this one too hard it'll tilt but we found a system. We have three minutes left on our card. We've got to show a victory here. Okay here we go, here we go, here we go. 100 tickets, 100 tickets. Come on. Don't get too fast, don't get too fast. Slow down, slow down, give it a jiggle when you get there. Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle. A little more, a little more, a little more. Jiggle, jiggle. Blimey, 100 bonus tickets. This is what $26 US will win you at Chuck E. Cheese for 830 tokens. A stress ball and two Chuck E. Cheese stickers. Oh yeah. So we're here at Steel City Strikes, which is a tournament part of the Pimberg weekend. It's kind of a warm-up tournament. Dial out the issues like this one on Doctor Who. It's great that we're having this issue now so we can fix it now so that when the main Pimberg tournament starts tomorrow, hopefully they've resolved whatever it is that's caused this. we're just outside we're outside in the suburbs of the pinball capital of the world Pittsburgh and it's great to be back here so right now we have 14, we have 1 tech and 14 people watching him trying to fix the game The um Well Tom We're literally eating popcorn whilst we watch I feel like I'm In a real life meme Those display issues On the DMD era Williams games can be Yeah Real finicky I'll be honest with you when I'm doing run of the tournament These games scare the hell out of me And one shows sort of the dim orange. Luke seems to think that the dim orange voltage is not displaying properly. I think Mike Dymus and his shenanigans is what's caused this. It's just not displaying properly. His Canadian shenanigans. Oh, my God. Yeah. What have you done? It's all Tom's fault here, boys and girls. At least he's got the popcorn for this. This is definitely good footage right here. Yeah, somebody's going to need to make a gif out of the Tom eating popcorn. Just isolate, clip, crop that out. Oh, look, even Mike's in on it now, yeah. Yeah. Popcorn shenanigans. Definitely do not stick things into the mech. That mech will take your fingers off. It scares the shit out of me when I'm walking on that game. Oh, my God. Look at this. Mike, look at this shenanigans going on here. Ha, ha, ha. All right, here's Mike Dimas. No shenanigans, Mike. Come on. It was great sharing some popcorn with him. We're going to clip that and make that a gif. Anytime there's a questionable rolling being made, we'll pull that up. The Tom Head with popcorn. Is it right? Oh, tilts. You know, that was... Yeah, he's not happy, man. He's like, I'm going to get some popcorn for this. Yeah, Lewis has been trying to fix the Dimas misspelling. Dimas. Is it misspelled? That's what I've been told by Lewis. I think it's M-U-S. That's fine. Everybody say hello to our newest IFPA entrant. Oh, no, it should correct it, because it'll be like, don't you mean Mike Dimas with a U? Oop. Does that mean he can play twice? So Scott has an awful ball, but it's still $4 million in the league. Right. Yeah, that first ball really. I mean, he's punched his card on that one, really. Right. I mean, if he could play one great ball and not have to play the rest. Hell yeah. That's typically how I am with golf. Oof. Oof. That was like oof level nine. Luke taking a picture out of Tim Graff's playbook. That's my lawyer. I believe Is Andrew from Canada as well? No, he's from Carolina For some reason I thought he was from Canada Everybody I don't recognize Is from Canada He's a solid player Yeah Oh hey Goran, that is a Brian Dye that you hear I'm still around. Still organizing VR mini-golf tournaments. Nice shot. Gorn, we need some top reviews. What have you been doing? Yeah. My life is incomplete. My life is incomplete. You did one last month. Forget what I said. You got to be careful with those, otherwise your thumbnail shot becomes... Oh, I already have. Oh, I know. I know. Oh, what a save. Nice dig. Off the tip of the flipper. Okay, multiball, here we go. What can Andrew do with this? Three more lanes up top for body. See, this is kind of one of those times where, like, if I've got one letter to go, especially on one of the ramps, I'm not going to shoot it and complete it, because now, for that exact reason, now he gets right back into multiball, even though he drained. So it's kind of like Space Station, where the one, two, three lanes up top, you always want to leave one not completed. That way you can relight your locks. Gotcha. On this one, so like now, he only needs the Y in body, and I would leave that there. Okay. That way, because if you collect the Y when you're in multiball, like that's, you're going to have to complete it four more times. Right, right. To start your next multiball. I totally get that. I mean, it's just kind of one of those things where you have to look at your progress and see, you know, But if you're almost done with the entire body and you're in multiball, go for it. Because especially if you have your playfield multiplier and you, you know, unveil the robot, those are big points. Sure. If you like Canadian humor with some pinball tech and some good pinball content, check out Pinball Shenanigans. Mannequins. Mr. Mike Dimas does that on YouTube. It's a great channel. Hilarious. Oh, this is dangerous. Yeah, and Genesis is not a game I have played that much. I played it at Indus before. I played it here at, well, I shouldn't say here, but I played it at Pembert before. Is that when it was on, like, the really high legs? Yes. And, yes, thanks for reminding me. Yeah, that was the best version of Genesis. Oh. All right, we're back to Scott. He's still got a solid lead here. That was a nice reaction. Kept him in the game. Kenny sure is a robot. He's kind of given up on that shot by the looks of it. I think he says... He might try to go for multiball. He's only got one lane completion up top. Ah, yes. Yeah, makes sense. And so now one of the... Oh, you know what? It's not going to start it because he has to... Does he have to hit the car? I think he has to reveal the robot first. Yep. Why, robot? Why? Oh, this is dangerous. Danger, little robot. Oh. Those little pop... They're not really slings. little pop targets. This thing here. Yeah, it's brutal. Hit it. Oh, it's just a little late. It's a tight shot. Very tight. I think Gottlieb used AI for the Genesis back glass. What a take. What a relevant take in these pinball times. That's a stuck ball. Somebody who worked there at a time machine went into the future. I'll be back. Yep. We didn't use my cluster, that's for sure. It would have looked a lot worse. Wait for the ball save. Just kidding. Okay, we got stuck. Yeah, it'd be interesting to see if, like, Luke actually gets a ball on the flipper. Yeah. Because Luke can do some damage. He could catch this up easily if he gets control. No question about it. He's way up there in the IFPA rankings. Yeah. Okay. Taking a photo of the scores. Hey, awesome! Scott Wood has 18 gigabytes of photos of his score right now. Making sure he definitely doesn't lose out. Smart! Yeah, for sure. Every doctor's got his utensil. Or his accoutrement. Does anybody have a picture of the score? I do. Yeah, I do. There's a level of stress going through Scott's mind right now. What stress is that? It's the don't screw the game up stress. Oh, because you're now in the trap? You've got a ball in a trap, Flipper? Yeah, he's TD. That coil is heating up though. Yeah, I have felt those laser beam eyes on me as a TD. Don't screw this up, McCray. How do I stop my new puppy from chewing my stuff? Young dogs need a lot of toys to chew. Maybe a rope toy? Yeah, I tried that. He's an eight-month terrier. Gotcha. Well, young terriers are super energetic. How about a run? We've been Mazda owners since 2011. We have CX-90. That's the complete package. Driving dynamics, reliability, and safety. I know that every time I buckle my kids into our Mazda, that it helps us get where we're going safely. The moment I got behind the wheel of a Mazda, like, I knew that I would be a Mazda owner for a very long time. It's a great vehicle, great brand, great people. Find out why nothing moves you like Mazda. Zero is the most powerful number in the world. There are six of them in every million. Questrade wants you to have more zeros, so they've changed the game again. With zero commission trades. Now go get yours. Right, here we go. Right, Scott, come on, let's put this beyond everyone. Let's do another million. Didn't phase him. Didn't phase him one bit. Oh, look, look. Paul moves so quick on this game. is crazy. Oh! Hey, I'd take that. Yeah, I would definitely take that. Oh, he's even got his initials on. Which if he doesn't notice, we're in for a fun one minute. Now he's worried about resetting the game. Oh, I would be too. I'd be like, you know what? I'm going to count. Let's let that rest for a minute. He manages to survive it. Great score by Scott. Yes. I'm going to call it. I think he's won this game. I think at least he's taking, you know, he's not taking a strike. For sure. I think trying to catch up on that one ball, tough. Doable, but tough. What are the odds of Neil taking it all? Which Neil? Yeah, Neil Graff, very high. Neil McCrae, not so much. Neil Graff's pinball IQ and skills have surpassed his old man. Nice game, gunshot. Is that a game? All right, Luke's up. Let's just order his Uber. Let's see if he gets a ball chance to flip. Oh, this is looking good. Yeah, gets it. Okay, here we go. Oh, I don't like that. I don't like that. But I like the nudge, but I did not like the tilt. I knew that was, when he hit it there, I knew he was on borrowed time. and he's like screw that game yeah it's gonna let that sit so let's take a look Wow that was quick. It was. Let's try that one more time. Okay. Yeah. We're not gonna see that. Are you fooling around with my stuff? Nope. Okay. Didn't touch it. Sure. Didn't touch it. Okay. You yelled at me earlier to quit touching buttons and I quit touching buttons. Brian's fingerprints all over the floor. I cannot tell a lie. I don't even know how to use these gadgets. We don't even have electricity. I only played three games. You were three and out? What are you, the Dallas Cowboys? Yeah, pretty much. You can tell that this game is now a problem as the TD is perched firmly like a parrot on the shoulders of Andrew, wishing him to finish the game so he can get the next round started. Allegedly P.T. Bart Hendrickson. oh that was nice oh that was also nice that was not nice at all ouch ouch ouch all right here we go can we have the shenanigan of the century and see i think it's possible yeah see definitely possible the popcorn might have done them in greasy tips yeah this is why luke hasn't played well mike coated it with popcorn oil oh no it was the pop there's no shenanigans there all right scott and andrew are safe luke and mike going to two strikes you
