Because Michael Ocean, the designer, decided that was the one that they wanted to code it on. So I think Michael Ocean was one of the game designers for Heist itself. I think he was a coder on Heist or something like that. Anyway, I saw an interview with Buffalo Pinball where he talked about trying different modules with this game. So I think he tried Weird Al and he tried Cosmic Kart Racing and he put in Heist and he was like, oh, this is the one that it wants to be on. The game was like, it wants to be on this module. And I think it's great because this does have a door. If you look, here's the OCPD. from Heist. So that's a door that you can... That you defend. That you defend. Thank you. And it has a nice left ramp, right ramp. It's got a clean orbit. It's got the inner orbits. It's got a lot of shots on the Heist. The horseshoe. It's got so many. That's a lot of shots. Except, you could say eight, but you can't hit the cross town shot without this flipper there's a flipper here kids there's a flipper there yeah so that's about it so he decided to code this and it's relatively inexpensive next to how much heist costs so heist right now is I think it's $32.50 $3,250 you get all that all that there's so much on there There's a crane on there. Now, Dungeon Door Defender doesn't use the crane at all. It'd be cool if it could work that in. I don't know exactly how it would work in the theming, but having that crane go down, maybe you can get like a two ball multiball off of that. Yeah. That would be cool. Ooh. Yeah, and the crane can just bring it in. So the way this game is played, it's really fun. It's not like the typical pinball game where you get three balls. You get as many balls as you want until your door dies. your door starts at 12 health and every time you drain you lose 3 so 3, 6, 9, 12 so you can drain 4 times or what else damages your door? they do these guys on the play field will damage your door these guys running around on the play field running around and the ball runs across like a little boy with the purple shirt and they see the pudding pop hey Grammy what's up boy on Frenzy you start with three. But you also want to go for shots while you're doing it. Because each time you hit a shot... Well, not each time, but each time you... Every two shots on a ramp or the inner loop, something like that. Door damage. Yep. Now he's down to nine. And I'm trying to do... There's a guy fighting. He's killing your door, and you're down to eight. Oh, wow. I didn't even see that guy. I know. They come through. And then you get a hurry-up bonus at the end if you can lock it in the door. If not, you'll lose that hurry-up, or you could just lock it somewhere else, too. Or you could drain. That works too. That'll work, but you lose three. So now, where are you now? You cleared the wave. So once you clear a wave, you get into the store. I only have 16 gold because I didn't do too well, but each time you go in, you can use your gold to buy upgrades for your mages, your rogues, ball attack, or repair door. But I don't have enough right now, so I'm just going to go to the next wave. Borg makes a good point. like on wave one you can farm gold is it stuck back there oh there it is there we go now i'm hitting my shots ah hey flip stream what's up and also this inner upper loop there's like a mana that should oh oh i died you're dead yeah i gotta i gotta just just focus on flip it we'll switch out i think some games just reuse other physical expansions exactly exactly exactly amiga so what they'll do or i'll say cami um what they'll do is that there's a lot there's a lot of modules and there's a lot of games for those modules you buy the game heist and then hope that a developer creates another game for that much So it's cool that you can hit targets in inlanes. Yeah. Yeah, you can hit the guys, and then there's also gold that comes up on the in lane. So if the ball rolls over the gold coin, you'll get gold from doing that. And so there's three buttons on the right side of the machine, and one of those buttons you can cycle through the gold. And so you want to cycle through and try to get all the gold as the game's progressing. I keep forgetting to do a button cam. Like one camera to show the three buttons on the side. Because this is the only module I know that uses all three buttons. Usually you don't have to deal with the bottom button and the top button. But, okay, let me try. So Borg was saying you could farm gold. So in that first round, if you hit those gold targets up there, the stand-ups, you get gold. If you Also collect all the gold In all the little spots down here And you'll see If I go into classic mode There's like four empty gold containers If I can roll the ball over and fill all four of them up I get that gold Side target slings They do? I didn't know that The slings? The slings give gold? Yeah you can just stay on the slings No you don't want to be on the slings ever You don't want to be on the slings And these side targets give gold too Because they're flashing gold The whole point is to get As far as you can And you can level up So let me try Here we go So I'm going to start Farming some gold See what I can do How much gold can I get So I'm just hitting that gold target Notice I moved my lane so I can collect more gold. These guys are pretty easy. Now if I hit a ramp or something like that, I can feed that last one. Boom, boom. And then you get a bonus if you get in the house. Get in your door fast. What I usually do, Isaiah, is I don't even bother with the second level either. I save my gold. Because I can get through hard times. you can continue farming after the door opens with risk of draining. Exactly. So you can farm, which probably might be a good idea. It depends on if you miss that hurry up or not. Because if you can get the hurry up... The hurry up is good. It's like 15. But if you just sit on the game and just play and don't drain, you're all right.
