hey flippers and welcome to pinball Pursuit your One-Stop shop for all things pinball I'm Dr C I recently had to go on a business trip without Mrs J unfortunately and while I was out I was able to visit a pretty cool place that I wanted to show around in this new series I'm calling pinball pursues different arcades or some other name I'll come up with later anyways this time I got to go to the Pacific Pinball Museum it's located in Oakland California in the Alam area and is pretty close to the Oakland airport so while I had to wait for my flight for a few hours I got the chance to head on over there and check it out [Music] this is a really cool place it's a 5013c which means it is a nonprofit charity and has over 100 different pin wall machines plus from what I understand a huge Warehouse full of machines that are in some good condition and some waiting to be repaired condition [Music] I got the chance to play several different old games even check out a few things that I've been looking at from Pinball's history the coolest part about this place was really the aesthetic it is really well done with the artwork with these giant posters that are the back glasses of old games from the' 60s and70s and just with the way it's laid out [Music] the museum is split into different rooms all with different themes usually about some sort of decade there's a modern room early history room there's a room dedicated to a certain art style and they even had a room full of stuff that was kind of eclectic [Music] one interesting thing was they had a safe cracker which wasn't the best game but I was able to win a token at it you can see here I was pretty proud of that [Music] anyways going to these types of places is pretty fun and I highly recommend that you check out the Pacific Pinball Museum if you happen to be in the area they host links they have youth leagues all sorts of things that I think would be really cool for anyone to try [Music] out this is our short video sorry we haven't uploaded in a while but there's been a lot of stuff going on thanks for joining me on this little tour and I hope to see you guys around here soon in the meantime keep flipping
