her before the match and she had a really good attitude she's like a fun game you know she explained it to me and yeah and then she had three balls go down the right spinner into the middle yep no fun oh yeah she she thought that happy about Pluto right now that was not fair she didn't choose it though right her opponent did purpose he was I was sound eight I know we were in the quarter-final so to survive yeah guardzilla of course kind of a tournament favorite when you see that because you don't see it on route a lot but people like to pull it out for their tournaments and it's a son game fun game to play seeing some grumbling on it we'll have to see and then pair Agassi of course that's one of my personal favorite hymns I love that game to death one of the best tournament eum's it really is I played that two years ago when it was in classics it was my first in disc I actually ended up rolling that it was did you really understanding it actually got me in a classics that you well as as you know when you come into a tournament you know you never know when that match is gonna strike and all of a sudden that weekend you're playing well you're with games that you're comfortable on you go up you pop a big game get you into finals and you just write that way you're playing well and you know that can happen at any time with any players and that's why we all go out play I just got informed we have Raymond Davidson err sure left off Bowen and Corey done in the same group what a group yep Wow Corey's been playing amazing but he is by far the underdog out of this group I'd say California yeah he's an Diego nice yep I played with him at the ie pinball leave last two two seasons ago yeah you guys have a great spot up there yeah what do you got twelve machine but Lake Alice it was a it was a what's a date yeah like but but they constantly switch things in and out for each week so and you play with that specific set they don't swap them out okay what's your official rank keep home and maintain them yeah you know I'll just throw out for those of you that have not been out to in discs before what a great great tournament a lot of fun it seems like a lot of us Midwest East Coast guys sort of kind of stay in that area it's hard to get out city champ and and in those events obviously you know the quality of competition is some of the best in the country I mean it's it's absolutely top-notch you know starting with the two guys weren't in this thing Jim and Carl um you know definitely leading the way in a lot of ways but you know it just seems like West Coast you know you there's only what to circuit events don't know three you go up to Seattle you count Vancouver there's four so you know it's there's a fair spread over here it just seems like you know a lot of East Coast people don't travel to these and if you can you should get out here great time a lot of fun great setup the room looks magnificent and all of the games are dialed and the weather compared to the most boat most or the other place of the world okay well coming from Minnesota the weather's a little bit better it sure is chilly tonight here we go longer instead of talking about weather least it's not raining that we're supposed to be a big night so here's the group we had just mentioned that gay shirts going first nine tenth 16th and first qualifying seeds free ball this is on three ball this is the a ball since I was over there because they were looking for the plumb bob and we can't find it in the cabinet opening oh they're okay because it's got the bar nice so is and for some reason it's such a hard shot when you just sort of gently throw it up there just wants to go to the left side you can come down this little V drain right there the object of this game there's five banks of drops you got a single target for the ten which is located on the far left side right here you got the two Bank of jacks right here three Queens or kings and five aces now Bowen just did its got the magic zero-point ball say la jolla that's right now yep so he's gonna get the a in late Carl can you erase we don't have that right nested in the erase key so unfortunately uh Bowen poncey left out way actually we just lost thank you the player can dig it turned no player Kim's player camp is frozen playfield camera is possibly froze it we don't know but we have sub-freezing we got Carl's looking at the transmitters cowards hope they are currently read now we also like we have the playfield and we have the scoring so we're at looks great it's Cory done so your balls are in play that's good there we go it's really a tough shot okay so we were talking about those uh drop banks oh and he held the left flipper up thinking and might fall over and it just goes down the middle look at those first ball scores Cory gained 9500 in the lead let's go player four without the player camera is gonna be Raymond Davidson not going current so on each ball one of the target banks is lit you can see the 10 there is lit there we go ball 2 it will be the Queen's and then ball three it's actually the Aces nice right the short plunge and it goes back and I think you know what you take all damn night yep see because you do that you get impatient and not one of our four contestants put one through the rollers yep alright ray let's keep it alive nice cradle so when you complete the drop banks they give you that bonus at the end of your ball yep if you hit the one that it's lit gives you 5x bonus and now you want to go through and obviously clear out these banks at drops yep so he's going after the jack there needs one more gets a king one more on the Queen so he picked up that jack so that's actually worth 10,000 right there correct as long as he doesn't tell its bonus so he's got one more for King and one more for Queen now real nice shot here is up around that pop bumper oh he went for the queens nice okay takes out the Queens what a lovely very nice a leap alright guys they're done and that's right through the center he'll take that great ball one finish it up with still count there we go now I need 3000 so this is 180 points or 480 points to set the three balls so for the second ball the Queens will be lit Raymond do you have one of these out on location here anywhere this one was actually actually Lake Alice tournament we ran a couple of months ago same shot same result hits one of the Aces and it comes straight down the middle he is having no luck there and ball two with 12,000 done and not gonna do it Bohun currents coming up so ideally you want to plunge it to the a or C because the beatin get from the inland so he gets the be nice nudge whoo-hoo so little too much in this situation do you go for trying to get some donors first or you do go for your 5x go for your 5x if it's clean shot on this you want to hit it from the left not from the right flipper is the right flip old drain down the left outlet yeah get some that Center is wide and and the inserts aren't doing him any favors they're kind of pulled the ball into the center Cory done ball two you know this throws it up into the pop there see that's the shot I like from the left flippers going up to the right of that pop now trying to get the roll over it's time to get those are all overs try to get the extra ball the backhand sack Wayne has two of them one more won't give them that 5x bonus so one thing is one the drop target banks are lit then the drop targets in that Bank will score 5,000 so one strategy is to just look at Queens and keep hitting the Queens over and over and that seems to be strategy Corey's taking nice and easy to slow down Corey there you go cradles up take your time if you got clean he gets the Queen matters 5x should lend a dead bounce that's okay yep it's got some nerves he's playing against some really good players cradles up back him between the Jackson the Queens - and go up top yeah and he does exactly well uh sure stepping up he didn't a few much on balls 1 & 2 nope he literally used that upper flipper hidden ace and went down the middle so let's see if he changes his strategy or if he keeps going for those aces he's gonna need an extra ball here so he might decide to keep going for him well he's got a ball on the flip for that place there a flipper on the ball picks up those aces right away and he's been making sure he's trying so to get that 5x value he has to get those aces up top which is nine of you rang tasks again if you want to shoot between the two and three bank there or that way right don't to the left of its really nice yeah but you go up between the two and a three and he's going left to the pop pumper that's totally good you know you actually decided to trust that left in lane to the right flipper just pass it over he got screwed on ball one though trying it trying it it literally died on the flipper and just went down the right mental drain but yeah he's gonna go
