(confidence: high) — Jamie Burchell and Kale Hernandez discussed incident; Jason Knapp reportedly impacted; Colin allegedly never issued formal apology or explanation.
- **[community_signal]** Twippies award show has experienced sustained decline in community perception and engagement; hosts observe negative sentiment when show is mentioned. (confidence: medium) — Retro Ralph: 'over the years, what it means, that show has like continued to decline and people have like almost a negative feeling about it'; Jamie noting lack of community enthusiasm for revival.
- **[content_signal]** JBS Show hosts are considering creating a competing award show/ceremony to recognize content creators; viewing Twippies as not adequately showcasing creator talent. (confidence: medium) — Extended discussion about creating live show at Pinball Expo; Jamie: 'There's nothing to showcase the creators anymore... I think that is something that's absent'; considering voting infrastructure costs ($5k+ tier pricing).
- **[rumor_hype]** Barrels of Fun's next pinball title is rumored to be Bon Jovi, generating mixed community reaction; hosts speculate alternative 80s IP possibilities. (confidence: low) — Hosts note 'everybody's shitting on the idea of it being Bon Jovi'; extended riffing on alternative IPs (Iron Eagle, Top Gun, Airwolf, Harry and the Hendersons, Uncle Buck, Mannequin); Kaneda reportedly released information.
- **[product_strategy]** Hosts speculate that Barrels of Fun may have employed misdirection tactics in marketing (referencing prior 'bags of sand' Dune clue), though confidence in precedent is low. (confidence: low) — Jamie: 'didn't they do something like that before to misdirect?'; Kale: unsure if this actually happened; vague recollection of 'bags of sand' campaign.
- **[design_innovation]** Stern designer Lonnie discussed innovative mechanical ideas in 1998-99, including motorcycle lift-up mechanism and interactive toys designed to surprise players. (confidence: medium) — Ralph: 'Gabby is still there'; Jamie: 'She's seen some shit... she was there with Bill Cosby, the dude that's showing his dick'; joke about her having leverage: 'She probably has so much shit on all these things. She can never be fired from Stern ever.'

(confidence: medium) — Video: 'Lonnie will change anything, anytime, at any cost, as long as it makes the game fun'; discussion of ball return mechanics designed to generate player reactions.
- **[market_signal]** Keith Elwin's successful execution of Iron Maiden (unconventional IP with low pre-release demand) is cited as precedent that designer skill can overcome IP concerns, directly relevant to Barrels of Fun's Bon Jovi rumor. (confidence: medium) — Kale: 'when he dropped Iron Maiden, nobody was asking for Iron Maiden... the designer made that game good... I think Carl can do the same thing with Bon Jovi'; used to argue Bon Jovi could work if true.
- **[leak_detection]** Bon Jovi pinball machine rumored to be in development at Barrels of Fun; Kaneda reportedly released information; authenticity unconfirmed; potential misdirection campaign by manufacturer. ## Transcript

Welcome back fans of the round table. Just how have the boys of summer been spending their nights? From stubbed toes to colonoscopies, Jamey Burchell has been hanging out in Cape Cod. Things have been hot in the windy city for Retro Ralph as he's sweated it out playing Sonic the Hedgehog with Steve Ritchie. And even hotter yet, Kale Hernandez baking in the Arizona oven, hosting tournaments at the Bats. Do we have a three hour show in store for us this week? No. What about next on the JBS round table? All right, welcome to the Pinball Roundtable. I am Jamie Burchell. As always, I am joined by Kale Hernandez and Retro Ralph. What's up, everybody? Looks like we got 17 in here so far, so we'll get going. Oh, what's up, everybody? Welcome. Welcome to the JBS show. Welcome to the Pinball Roundtable, more importantly. And I don't know, is this going to be a marathon? Ralph's a little tired already, Kale. But you know what? He pushed you last time. He did, actually. It's time for you. You got to return the favor. You got to Red Bull this up, dude. Oh, no. I won't sleep. I haven't been sleeping. That's the problem. So if I had a Red Bull, I'm not going to sleep. Well, this is more important. I just noticed I am so electric bat right now. I'm using it. I didn't know. I had this all day. I have a cup. I have this. Why is Pineda calling me during this show? No. Let's see what he wants live. Do you really want to? Nah. Yeah. So, Ralph, when you come to the arcade, I need to get you. We have new hats. I think I have one. I ordered. Oh, OK. I got it. I got I'm on that stuff. When there's new swag, I'm on it. Oh, my God. He's calling me now. The hat's cool. Oh, my God. That's good. All right, everyone. Three hour episode. Hey, guys, we are going to do a much better job of the chat today. So here we go. OK, what do we want to start with? Do we want to start right at the notes and just go for it and go from there? Why not? Yeah. We don't have any certain order, right? No. Let's go. All right. A few weeks ago, my friend Colin from the Kineticist used AI to populate his site with other people's work and content. And no one's really talked about this. OK, he used it to basically steal some of our information that we have. Right. And Knapp and really Jason Knapp is the one that took the brunt of this. What's going on, Kahn? What are we doing? So I don't. So here's the thing. If you're going to use AI to organize your own work, I'm totally fine with that. You can use it all day long to organize your own stuff. But the thing I had a problem with is he was using it to curate everybody else's stuff and then post it as an article on his site. Now, that's okay if the creator agreed to it, you know what I mean? But the way a creator is going to look at that is they're going to go, well, you're now redirecting potentially sometimes views to you versus me. And, like, of course, when we all publish content, we want people to see it, right? So, I mean, if you went there and he consolidated your video to a page, I might not even watch the video. Do you know what I mean? Right. So I think that's where, like, NAP's like, man, if you're doing that, then they might not go to my site. And that's kind of wrong, in my opinion. So I don't know what he was thinking. I don't know if he ever said, like, hey, I'm sorry. This was because supposedly the story was he was evaluating something. I can't remember what it was called. He was evaluating an AI tool, but he never came out and said, like, hey, my AI tool was kind of messed up. Sorry about that. Like, no problem. Like, that would have been cool. Like, that's what I thought after the nap thing. I'm like, oh, I was like clicking on the refresh on Kinectisist. I was like, he's going to definitely apologize because, you know, he never said anything about it. He just ignored it, which I think is even worse. Like, I would have just said, hey, man, sorry. It wasn't how it was supposed to work. And it was it wasn't just nap. It was me, nap. Don, it was anybody, you, it was everybody. So, I don't know, it's kind of weird. Yeah, you, yeah. Yeah, it's sort of weird. I thought that was an odd choice. What do you think, Kale? I don't know enough about it. I mean, Jason Knapp messaged me, or I think we even talked on the phone about it. But I think at first when he deployed it, it was a little messed up because maybe there wasn't like proper attribution and it was just like stealing stuff and put it on his website and now maybe it was sorted out a little more. I don't know enough about it really. You know, I called Kong. Well, that's up to the brunt of that one, huh? No, I called Colin last week, right before, two weeks ago I called him, to try to clear the air with him, right? And then this happened and then I got pissed off. Clear the air about what? There's really nothing to clear the air about, Jamie. I wanted to clear the air about the Twippy situation, me and Ralph's situation with him, Kale. See, the bad thing about it, Jamee, is if Jamee wants validation or me or I want validation on if I did something right or wrong and I believe I'm right, Jamee's just going to agree with me and I do the same for him. So, like, we should really be calling you to see if we did something wrong. You know what I mean? That's true. Because Jamee and I are like, no, man, Jamee, you're good, man. It's all good. He's like, Ralph, you too. We're like, high five. Let's go. All right, we're out of the twippies. And, you know, the real thing that I brought this up is, boys, is I want to buy the Twippies. I really do. I want to take it away from Kong and give it to the people. I want to do this, Kale. But to buy it would mean they want to sell it. He has to sell it. What do you want to – you would have to have an extra chromosome to think that's a good idea. I mean, you don't think the Twippies. Why? Because I miss the Twippies. I miss it. Let's be honest, Jamie, okay? We were on the last one that they did live, right? And there was issues, right? It wasn't perfect. I felt good about it, though. I felt like it was pretty fun. I think we did a good job considering some of the tech issues. But here's the thing. I do feel, and this is not, I know I'm going to get beat up a little bit for saying this, But I feel like over the years, what it means, that show has like continued to decline and people have like almost a negative feeling about it. It's just fact. It feels that way. Like when I see people seem to be like, I'm not into that anymore. So to me, it's almost better to not buy the Twippies and I'm not suggesting it isn't like a you versus them or whatever. But maybe it's better to rebrand it and do your own thing versus that. You know what I mean? That could coexist. This is such a banger year. We need a show, and we need a show that's going to showcase creators as well. We just, this needs to happen, and I think the pinball roundtables need to happen. And we'll talk to Rob Burke when he calls in later. It's so much work. It's so much work, though. Kale and I were going back and forth on voting sites, and it was like, I was, my brain was hurting. I was like, oh, my God. I was trying to convince you guys it's not working, huh? So we're going to move on? Tell me, sell it to me. Yeah, you sell it to us. Why does there need to be an award show? I don't know. It was so goddamn fun to host this. No, you said it earlier. You said it. You know why. I think the people need a show. I do. No, that wasn't a strong case. Chad, tell me. They want to make our own show. No, no, but Jamey, you said the thing. We'll go back to it. You said there's nothing to showcase the creators anymore. And I think that is something that's absent, and I do feel like people are fans of certain shows, whether it be this one that we're on right now, Electric Backass, and they want to support those people because they do appreciate the work that we all put in. So I don't know. That's kind of a – yeah. Anyway, sorry, Kale. Okay. Chat, even Canadian says there should be a show to recognize talent and a hobby. So is that it? Just recognizing – I mean, that's like a – That's like a five-minute show. No, he doesn't. You mean that needs to be a part of it. Part of it. I want to do the whole kit and caboodle. Oh, yeah. See, I mean, if Colin does it again, he needs to not, like, you know, not recognize the content creators just because he hates Kaneda. I mean, that's just stupid. That's the only reason why he's not doing that. Like, we have to get away from this cancel culture thing. It just doesn't make sense. Yeah, no, I agree. Did he actually just come on our show and tell people that he's going live on his channel so you can chat me while we're watching this show? That's actually kind of nice. Just he never sent me an invite. Are you talking about Kandita? Yeah. Hey, Kandita, drop some money, man. Give us some money, bro. I know you got it. You got all kind of people giving you money. Drop some money. Boy, drop some money in the chat, man. All right. So this is a dead deal. It didn't work out. Sorry about that. What? The show? The award show. There's no interest in it. But I think there is. No, there's definitely interest in it. There we go. Thank you, Kavs. There's interest in it. You think that there isn't? Why? No one said I'm not interested in it. Because you two don't want to do it. The problem is, could we do it lightweight? The problem is, when you start incorporating the voting tools, they cost money a lot of them, So you're spending like some of them, some of them will really spend the only ones I found that would truly be like it tracks all this shit. So if someone comes in from the same IP address, like they can't duplicate shit and multiple votes and all that. But it's like I calculated something like if I was kind of thinking we could get upwards of four to five thousand votes and it might be more than that. The ten thousand tier was super expensive. And I was like, holy shit, for five thousand votes, it was pricey, dude. So, I don't know. I don't know if maybe someone, if we can deal with that. Enzo in the house, thank you so much. We got like 80 bucks. Hey, thank you, Enzo. That's the help. That's the help buy the twippies. I think you guys got me so in trouble in the first five minutes of the show. Yeah, yeah, go ahead. Already. Like, I'm already in trouble. But he's right. You're not in trouble. A live show at Expo is not a bad idea, Kale. So now we – I don't know what 80 – I don't know what the conversion rate is, but listen, we have about 80 bucks to buy the Twippies. So that leaves us with probably $60 to do other stuff with. Yeah. Yeah, we're all set. We got it. We're ready to go. All right. We are doing a live show at Expo, right? That's what we're talking to Rob Burke about. Rob Burke is going to call in in 45 minutes, okay? Our goal, keep him on for 15 minutes. Okay? That's our goal. Chat, you're going to help us with that. Because we have a lot of topics. We have a lot of topics. And there is a video. Tell your friends, okay? There's a video that we're going to put on. Maybe, how about we get to 75 or 100 people? Okay? That we're going to show you a video that Ralph has never seen, that me and Kale have seen. I can't wait. From the Midnight Plunger. Am I correct? Yeah, it came from the Midnight Plunger. This is the greatest video I've ever seen in my life, and I cannot wait to show it to you live on the Pinball Roundtable. Hold up. Ralph, I'm sorry. No, don't worry. Ladies and gentlemen, Ozivet just dropped a C-note. Damn. Thanks, Ozzy. Appreciate that, brother. My man, he does nothing but give. He loves me so much. I can't wait to see him again and give him a hug and take you guys out to dinner and buy the Quippies. When I see Ozzy, we're going to do a special kind of hug. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Don't break his hand. Stroke. Yeah. Okay, let's move on. We're not buying the Twippies. Sorry. And our boy Kaneda just released. Is it misinformation? Is it really happening? Is Bon Jovi really happening? I'm here in Houston. I haven't heard anything about Bon Jovi. What say you say to steal from my friend Serge? Who wants to go first? I think you should go first. I don't care either way. Because if it's Bon Jovi, that's cool. Think about this. Everybody's shitting on the idea of it being Bon Jovi. But Keith Elwin, when he was like, we'll release Iron Maiden. When he dropped Iron Maiden, nobody was asking for Iron Maiden. Right. But like the designer made that game good. Yeah, that's true. And I think Carl can do the same thing with Bon Jovi. But here's the other side. If it's not Bon Jovi, it's going to be something dope like Masters of the Universe or Beastie Boys, you know, something like that. Or G.I. Joe, hopefully, one day. G.I. Joe. G.I. Joe's not until 28. Okay. All right, but we're going to get it. So I'm happy about that. Yeah, I'm excited. If it's the misdirection, kudos to Barros, right? The misdirection move? I don't know. That's some CIA shit over there, boys. Well, didn't they do it before? I don't know. I can't remember if they did that before. Didn't they do something like that before to misdirect? Oh, no, they held out. They did the bags of sand, but, I mean, I didn't even know what the hell that was supposed to mean. I didn't put that together with Dune, but I guess that would make sense because Dune is like all sand. A lot of sand. Yeah, a lot of sand. I wish we had captured the phone conversation I had with you, Jamie, about this because we started talking about other 80s things we wished would. We were kind of joking. We're like, we'd rather have this than Bon Jovi, and we were saying all this random shit. Like, it was really funny. Okay, I'll go one. You go one and see if it's better than Bon Jovi. And if it's Bon Jovi, I'm sorry, Barrows of Fun, we're just having fun. And it's just 80s, other 80s things that you could have made it to instead of Bon Jovi. Instead of Bon Jovi. Okay. I like my idea. What was yours, Iron Eagle? Yeah, I was like, I was like, they can't get Top Gun. That was number one. I was like, they can't get Top Gun and Iron Eagle has some badass, get the cheap Top Gun. Yeah. Because that's like so, that's so Barrows on brand, like do the weird thing. Like you wouldn't do Top Gun, you'd do Iron Eagle. I was like, that soundtrack's badass in there. I'd take an Iron Eagle over Bon Jovi all day, and I know the chat would agree with me. Pappy, I'm doing it my way. Damn you, Pappy, I'm doing it my way. Wasn't it Pappy? Yeah, Pappy. Do you remember this movie, Kale? Kale, you don't remember Iron Eagle? Yeah. Nope. It was the ripoff. I remember Firefox. Wait, no, that was a TV show, Firefox. Which one was the movie with Clint Eastwood and he flew the SR-71 Blackbird? Oh, it might be Firefox. That was Firefox, right? Yeah. All right, mine. Firefox was a movie, Jamey. Oh, okay. Sorry about that. Yeah. So Firefox, we didn't come up with Firefox. I said Harry and the Henders. Do you know Airwolf would be cooler than Bon Jovi? Yeah. Yeah, that's what I mean. We're coming from all things that can be cooler than Bon Jovi. Harry and the Hendersons. And I went Uncle Buck. I was like, I'd rather have an Uncle Buck than Bon Jovi. And I wanted a mannequin. No, I wanted a mannequin. Remember the movie in the 80s, Kale? Did you see that? The movie in the 80s where the guy falls in love with, like, the mannequin, but he only sees it alive and no one else does. Oh, do you know, we caught one of the workers at the bar fucking a mannequin in the office. Oh, wow. Oh, really? Oh, man. Hey, Rob Brooks coming on. He won't be here. Come on. I got the whole video. No way. Yeah, I can send it to you. I don't know if I want to see that. No. I only saw the video. This is no lie. Dude, when I was there at the bat, I don't remember when this was. There was a dude, and he staple-gunned his balls to his leg. I don't know what that was going on. Oh, you're talking about on stage? Yeah, over at... Yucca Taproom. Yeah, Jugga Taproom, the guy stapled his nuts to his leg. I was like, what the hell is this band? Then he took a metal pail, filled it with like a long string of black cats, and fired it off, pulled his pants down, and put the pail over his junk. Yeah, that was a weird night. I was like, what is happening over there? All right, we are getting, are we going to keep talking about barrels, or do we want to do the video now because there's 80 people here? Well, one thing, are we going to talk about Dungeon Crawler, Carl, or is that after this video? We can do Dungeon Crawler, Carl, after the video. Okay, let's do the video. Wait, so did you just admit that that's what it is, or are you just saying? No, no. We're talking about what's going on. Who is doing it? Oh, gotcha, gotcha. There's a question of who's doing it, so we're going to get into that. I'm going to get into that in detail, but there are 87 people here, and I'd like to get to 100 for the video, but I did say 75 to 100, so we're right there. Okay. Oh, are you doing video now? They should drop that video, boys. Okay, this is – who is this from? This is from the Midnight Plunger. So the Midnight Plunger's still around. Yeah. Okay. Because there was rumors that he'd been off, but he's still around. He is still around. Has anybody ever met the Midnight Planger? Kale met him in a garage, parking garage. He got a smoke cigarette and they went back to back. Combo Chuck, how are you? Okay, ladies and gentlemen, what you are going to see is a video that Stern Pinball made in 1998 or 99. It's like 15 years ago, right? Okay? This is a video of a teaser of a reality show that they pitched, and I'm going to show it to you right now. Are you ready? I have not seen this. No, this is absurd. Okay, so be ready to pause when Ralph has a reaction. Thank you so much for the cash, Jeff. Thank you, Jeff. Is that Jeff Epner? Yes. Okay. Okay, Jamie. I don't want you to fail at this, so you know you've got to share with audio because if you don't, then no one's going to hear it, including me. All right. Just let me see if you can hear it. Do a quick test. Yeah, I can hear it. Okay, good. Okay. All right. It's really freaking loud. Is it? Just a little bit. Jeez. All right. Everybody calm down. While we're doing this, we're not here now. We're not going to be monitoring the chat as much, so give us a second. Okay, I lowered it. Can we do one more quick test and make sure it's loud? One more quick test. It doesn't sound any quieter. Hey, don't go too far. Oh my God. At the helm is Gary Stern. He's been a fiery pinball man since birth, and his legacy is on the line. We are not the last pinball company. We're the only pinball company. It's very important. Last sounds like that we're going to quit, and we're not. We're here for the duration. Gary's a wild man. He's 65 going on 25. He's got more energy than most people that I know. I call Gary's turn Mickey Mouse because he is kind of like an icon in this industry. No, I want a smart answer to a stupid person's stupid question. Thank you. Thank you very much. The world would exist if pinball wasn't around anymore, but a little bit of the fabric alike would be gone. Leading Gary's team is the old guard. Who is this? An overworked, underpaid team of pinball lifers who fight daily. Keep their industry alive. I am the only in-house game designer left on the planet. I do all the play field layout and I design all the mechanisms. I think the cool thing about John is he's a kid at heart and I think that helps a lot when it comes to designing stuff. I'm involved in all aspects of the game design from music, art, make it fun. The ball comes down here and it just pops in there and the person's like, wow, that's cool. How would that happen? Lani talks along. Wouldn't it be cool if I could control that? Whoa, that's a cool. Sorry, pause it, pause it. I don't know who this guy is, though. Who is that? Isn't that Lonnie? That's Lonnie. They clearly were like, hey, Lonnie, you're going to act, okay? That's bad. What is it? I don't know if any of these people are acting in this video. It gets worse. When you put a camera on somebody, things come out. They get weird. They get weird sometimes. Yeah. Good point. Like, that didn't happen in Tron. That would be dope. If the ball went through the wheel. Yeah, that would be cool as hell. That would be really cool. I got to say, like. That's the Optimus Prime. That never happened. Yeah. The only vibe that, like, it is kind of interesting to see Stern in more of a, like, Skunk Works vibe instead of the corporate vibe. Like, there is something different about this video where they feel kind of, like, cooler or something. I don't know. Isn't this great? Thank you so much, Stringer Films, for the money. This is great. This thing would have blown up. This is so cool. And this would have been incredible marketing for Stern. Well, there's some parts in here that might not be. Okay. Is this long? We've got four minutes left. Oh, really? All right, let's go. Jeez, that's kind of cool. Wow! That looks really cool. He talks too much. I've always heard that French people are arrogant, which I never understood why people said that, because I think there's plenty of assholes here, too. And it looks horrible. My title is Jack of all trades. My card says J-O-A-T. People always ask me what it means, and I said it's an acronym, and if you figure it out, maybe I'll do business with you. Actually, what I tell people when I'm really angry is I'm the last for the rock in the s pile and if I get constipated, watch out. But a dying industry can't afford business as usual. So a new guard has come on board to bring cash, ideas, and energy. Basically, what's involved is me managing people and beating them up and kicking them in the nuts. But I have what I call an open kimono philosophy. You know, in other words, I come in, I show you my s, you open your kimono, you show me your s, and then we get back. Hold on, hold on, hold on. What the fuck? Can we pause this? Did he just say what I think he said? So you go into his office and you see his dick? I guess so. I guess jack of all trades doesn't include HR. But why would that be like a thing anyway? Like why would he even say, like why would that be the thing that he says? I don't know. He was fast with that, too. Like, he uses that line a lot. I want to see this show more than ever now. I do, too. Okay. Let's go back. Stern behind the underwear. It's going to be called Stern Pinball behind the zipper. Okay, here we go. Popping and popping and relational stuff. Thanks for working in the music industry. You really want to laugh? Yeah. Can I say what happened to the other guy? Well, if you want, I don't want to. Okay. You know what I'm saying? He might not be there anymore. How about that? No, he's definitely not there anymore. But I don't want to say what happened. Okay, that's true. All right, good call. Good call. You're my conscience. He has an alien when I walked in this place. They're like, who is this guy? What's this guy doing? I look at our Facebook and our Twitter and our YouTube. The beauty of all that is a way to connect with our customers on a level that's never been done before in this industry. For me to be a woman, just to work with three men, and it's complicated. We'll say, welcome to hell. We'll pause this. It's complicated if you're with the operations guy. You know, Gabby is still there. Oh, really? Yeah. Okay. I don't think I've ever met her when I've been there. No, probably not, but, I mean, she's saying this as hell. She's seen some shit because she was there with Bill Cosby, the dude that's showing his dick. Yeah, the dick. Yeah, but that's why she's like, it's complicated because dude's walking around with a joke out all the time. You want to talk about job security? She probably has so much shit on all these things. She can never be fired from Stern ever. No, she has the Williams deal for sure. All right, here we go. It's built before our eyes. There's a half a mile of wire and 3, 500 pieces in a pinball machine. It is a very detailed manufacturing business that has game design under it. We're making capital goods that are style items. See, this is a very exact science so that after we get it down to pulling the wings off of flies, it doesn't make a rat's ass difference. And when your games are based on Hollywood blockbusters and pop culture icons, you've got to get it right. We're here today to look at the new cabinet for the Rolling Stones pinball machine. Nick looks great. Charlie came out great. We're at Buell, which is an excellent printing company where we print our back glasses. Compare it to other glasses that we've done, so that in a showroom or an arcade, it looks cool. Take an eight now? Yeah. Yeah, you don't want to f it up and put it in there. We were trying to get permission from Cameron. I mean, we did not even do anything first. Yeah, yeah, hold on. Hey, Cameron. Hey, James Cameron, check this out. He's like, oh, no, we're good. We're good. We're not doing it. What the hell? Why is this guy showing it to everybody? He's obviously proud of it. This is crazy shit. This is crazy. All right, just two minutes left. We were sending telexes to this lead designer who was on a safari to Africa to see if he would please allow us to release these products. They don't give a s. I started to design the Tron game, you know, without really having a script or a story. You know, Lonnie will say, well, I want the motorcycle to lift up and shoot balls out, and I'll be like, eh. One thing's for sure. This cast of characters will constantly fight to keep the silver ball in play. You take, you know, old dogs that have been doing this for a really long time in a very certain way, and you bring in new dogs who do it a different way, and then you try and put them all together. There's going to be push and pull. Nobody's ever fing on time. Nobody said don't do it. Nobody said don't scrap it. I didn't say it worked. It's not at work. Okay? Obviously. You just keep talking. What's my f***ing stupid? Lonnie will change anything, anytime, at any cost, as long as it makes the game fun. Fall lock one. Fall lock two. Stick around. That's multiple start. Nobody at this company just, you know, understands anything about them all. Look at any game company, there's ups and downs to it, you know, it's part of what we do. Is it smart? Maybe not, but it's what we do. People are seeing that Stern is not only a lie, but damn it, those Sumbervitches are well. Who remembers how these work? Well, they are pinball wizards. There you go. Keep it going. No, there's more, too. Oh, there is. That's ridiculous. So every day at lunch, Gary, Shelley, and Shirley, they stay here and they watch Cheaters in the conference room. Oh, here we go. Here we go. Okay. Okay, the good part's coming. Wait a minute. Ten minutes to go. Do they have another cue? No, yes. Here we go. Where the hell have you been? My God, we're back here every day watching this. What are you doing? How did it just not get pulled up? I mean, honestly, I would love it if this had been made. Right. That's for sure. It would have been so freaking fun to watch for someone that's into pinball. I mean, that's cool. This would kill it. They need to do this right now. Like Seth needs to go, like somebody needs to show this to Seth and be like, this is what, you know, you need to flip the script. This is how you introduce everybody. You know, who cares how bad it looks? You know, I mean, you know, let's get some excitement going on. This is amazing. It might make people appreciate it more that have no idea, you know what I mean, of how difficult it probably gets, the heated conversations between, like, the designer and the coder, and I don't know, I think it'd be pretty cool. And, like, everybody in that film has seen Al's dick. Yeah, no. Right? Why? Al's got, I hope, Al definitely, he's probably not working at all, I would think. I mean, he might have skirted through that time period. Oh, he could be working doing something else. He's like, you know what? I got this out all the time. It's probably not the right line of work for me. He's not only fans. Anyway, thank you guys so much. What did you think of that? Did I build it up too much? No, that's crazy cool. Like, honestly, I've been anticipating this because you're like, I'm not going to show it to you. That was cool. That's cool. I really wish that existed. Oh, my gosh, that would be so fun. Do you think Stern wants anybody to see that? I mean, it was a different time period. You know, like now it seems sort of shocking, some of it, but like, I don't know, behind closed doors of businesses, do they still talk like that? Sometimes, you know, especially in like a startup. Thank you, Stringer. Thank you, Stringer, so much. Anyways. Oh, yeah, could you imagine the Al Topper? Let me bring that out. Somebody, listen, there's a great homebrew community out there. We need the Al pinball machine. Oh, my God. Oh, gosh. What was that one? What was that one with that crazy machine that was all sexed up? I guess that would be the closest. Oh, Zingy Bing. Yeah, maybe Al helped make that. Zingy Bing, yeah. All right, let's move back on to Barrels of Fun, or do we want to go? My cheeks hurt from that. That is pretty funny as shit, man. I mean, honestly, that is funny. Isn't that amazing? It's so good. That is so good. Thank you, Midnight Plunger. You are a gem. And you see any more episode two, you know, if there's a full episode out there, we will air the entire damn thing. It's not going to get monetized because of the song. It's worth it. It was worth it. Totally worth it. They made up for it in the chat. Oh, that's true. Yeah, I'm not going to be able to monetize this because of the Bimball. Kale and I were talking about it before you joined. We're like, I can't monetize it. And he's like, who gives this shit? It's going to be so great. And it really was. So you didn't make 15 bucks. That's true. All right. Let's move on. Dungeon Crawler Carl, right? That's the rumor. So, Jamey, you said you saw it in a social media post. Didn't you say that? I haven't. You didn't say Dungeon Crawler Carl, but you said you saw the P3. Whatever the game is. Yeah, I've seen the game. Okay. And there's rumors out there. Like, nobody knows. So we know a Dungeon Crawler Carl game is coming out. Yeah. But people don't know what manufacturer. That's right. Yeah. There's this interesting thing we figured out. I know. This is pretty sleuthy of us, and we're not reporters, okay? Right. But we did some sleuthing, and what we found out is that multiple companies can have the same license, and that is happening. Right. That's the important part. Well, wait. What are you suggesting, that it's happening with this license or it's happening with a license? A license. Okay. But I'm going to tell you what I think. Okay. All right. I think it's happening with this license. Oh. Because I don't know how much we – Jamie reached out to somebody. How much can you say, Jamie? I can say that. I reached out. I wasn't in an NDA with a text message. I just said, hey, to Barrels of Fun, David David Van Es. I said, hey, can multiple companies have the same license? And he said, yes. And to reiterate, not this license, not Dungeon Crawler. You're saying he was just you were just a general question. It was a general question. And then he said, it's happening right now. So that that is going to happen. Yes. But he also wasn't answering it in the context like they have a license that another person has. He was just generally speaking, right? True. Very much. Thank you for covering my ass there. Very true. This is why... No problem, David. I got you. This is why I think both P3, Multimorphic, whatever you want to call it. I don't know. So Multimorphic is the building, but P3 is the pinball machine? Is that what that is? All right, I'm going to settle this right now because I just had Kevin Manning on. $50, John. Thank you so much. John, thank you so much. Buying the Twippies, dude. Thank you. I'm going to be saying that for a while. Sorry. Anyway, I asked Kevin Manning, I said, what is it? And he said, it's Multimorphic is the name of the company. The platform is P3 and the modules are P3 modules. It's like Stern and Spike 3. So what do we call the pinball machine? The P3. Okay, P3, okay. Made by Multimorphic, like the Sega Genesis. This is what I think is going on. You're going to see a P3 Dungeon Crawler Carl machine, but you're also going to see a Dungeon Crawler Carl machine from Barrels. Oh, so you think that. Okay. Huh. And this is why I think that this is interesting. I don't think that deal with P3 is exclusive. And David David Van Es did say that this is happening. He said that he didn't say anything about Dunger, Call it, Call it, Call it. He said it is happening where two companies are releasing the same IP. And this is very interesting. It's never been done before. Or has it? I don't know. I don't know, but it's cool, though, because to see two different creative interpretations of the same license, because when you only get one, you then have all the ideas in your head. But if you have another option, that's kind of cool, actually, if that is actually indeed happening. So Matt Deniman, the author, is following Beryls of Fun on social media. Ooh. Another thing is I was hanging out with one of Carl's good friends, and he told me Carl is doing a Dungeon Crawler Carl with barrels. Okay. Well, yeah, shit. I always kind of thought, you know, when we were talking about this, we talked about it on another roundtable. I was always kind of thinking, you know, even though I don't know the license well, that that would have fit with, like, the barrels IPs they've already done. You know, it kind of feels like a barrels game to me. The whole theme falls. David's super nerdy. This is nerdy. It just kind of vibes together. Like, I don't know. I just I was actually kind of shocked. Well, I don't know if it is P3, whatever, even though that's pretty much everyone knows that. But I just thought Beryls would have been the company to make it. So I don't know. I'd be kind of interesting. I can't obviously confirm nor deny what P3 is. OK, I can't. I mean, I just can't. I'm not going to do that to Jerry and I'm not going to do it to my wallet. But what I can say is that would be fucking wild if two people had it. That would be some wild stuff. And I don't think it's a bad thing. I don't either. I think it'd be cool. Do you guys know that license? Do you know Dungeon Crawler Carl at all? Have you read the audio book? I mean, I haven't. I only knew of it because when it started circulating in here that that was a rumored thing whenever I was in the airport I all of a sudden started seeing it You know how they always have in the airport the top of whatever books because I knew what it was you know but that was it I haven't done any of them. I didn't do any of the audio books. I'm almost done with book one. I listened to it. What do you think? It's pretty fucking cool. It's pretty cool. Yeah, the writer is pretty amazing, and the guy that does the audio is just ridiculous. It's just ridiculous. I mean, he does like 20 different voices. It's really kind of cool. And it's right up our alley as 80s video game kids with this end of the world bullshit video game. It's pretty cool. Yeah. So there you go. Do you want to pivot now to keep it on the P3 topic and do that other question? Yeah, go ahead. Because I don't. What? Well, the thing is, I like the P3, right? And I've become now, Jamey, you're like a P3 apologist or a P3 shill. I didn't get paid. I drove my ass all the way to Round Rock, saw the machine, and then came home. And then got a hotel and then came home. So I lost money on that deal. So I'm not a shill, but I just missed the old P3 from the old joint. I enjoyed playing it. Okay? So my question to you guys. This was my question. Okay, yeah, go ahead. Ask it. No, I want to know. And, Jamie, you've already kind of spilled how you feel about it. But I'm going to ask the question, and then I – whatever. I want to know how you feel maybe, Kale. How does the community at large feel about multimorphic, like in its acceptance in the pinball world? That's what I want to know from you. Like what are your feelings on that? I don't think most of the pinball world thinks of it as a traditional pinball machine. And when you are – and it never has. I mean, I've been around them, you know, around shows forever. I've played them. They're cool. They're really, really cool. They're almost impossible to operate. But I'm sure they're super fun at home. But it just like when you play it, when you look at it, it just doesn't feel like when you're playing pinball, you know, you want the sound of wood rolling across. I mean, a ball, steel ball bearing rolling across wood. It's just the P3 doesn't have that certain feel. It's just a different thing, which is fine. Like, it's a very, very cool thing, but it just it does it to me. It doesn't feel like pinball. And yeah, I think that's generally what with especially old school pinball fans. That's you know, that's what's up. They want a traditional pinball machine. Yeah, no, I agree. I think so. I did a little bit of research on this. I went to like really, really old pin side threads because there's so much P3 stuff on pin side. I read a lot of it. It was like one night, I couldn't sleep, so I'm like reading. And it's like what people, it's interesting because the group I was in had both people that owned them and then people that were like opposed to them. And it was interesting because almost all the opposed to it, almost all of them said, I went up to it the first time and I played it and it felt so foreign and different. I just didn't like it because I'm used to the way whatever manufacturer plays. And then they start fighting kind of back and forth about it. Like, you know, and the main common denominator was it was a like it was basically what you just said. So it's so crazy. It was a feel thing. It didn't feel to them like pinball. And they acknowledged that it was something different. Like, look, it's something different. But it feels like it's on this like outside. Right. It's like not it's not like necessarily disrespected. I kind of feel like maybe it's a little respected for what it is, but it's not like it's not going to move. You're not going to have a game that's going to move 2, 000 units with a multimorphic, I don't think. I think they're in a much smaller. I don't know. I think about it. I thought about whether I would even want one of these one day. My issue is even though it's like, yeah, the modules are interchangeable, so therefore I don't have to keep buying pinball machines, but I've got to store those things somewhere. Where am I going to put them? You know what I mean? They're not small. They're kind of big things. They're big metal things. Where do I put those? So then you still have to store something, you know, I don't know. I'm not, for me it was a feel thing. I don't dislike it, but it's so different that I just, I hasn't won me over yet, let's put it that way. Like I played a ton of Portal and the flippers were just so weird to me. I could not get used to the way they felt. And then the other issue I had with Portal, I almost liked the one that didn't have the, you know how they had the two kits where they have ramps that like come on top? I didn't like that because now you have ramps coming on top of like a TV screen and then if you shoot and miss a shot, the ball like hits the back of the ramps and then like dribbles down. Like it was just sort of weird. I don't know. I'm not like hating it, but I just don't – it hasn't won me over. It just feels too different to me. Yeah. And it is different. It is different. It's different. I enjoy the feel of it. I got into them. I really love playing Dungeon Crawler Carl. Not Dungeon Crawler Carl. Dungeon Door Defender. I like playing Dungeon Door Defender. What? I like playing Dungeon Door Defender. You done effed up. Ladies and gentlemen, go to Pinside, go to Pinside, Climax, go to Pinside. I like playing Dungeon Door Defender, and we'll go from there. Anyway, enough of the P3. I wish them luck. Oh, you were trying to say Dungeon Door Defender, Jamie. That was a quick shift, Jamie. Yeah, it's time to move on. Dungeon Door, Carl. Dungeon Door Defender is a very fun game on the heist module, and I think Princess Bride as well. Call your local distributor for information on the P3 modules. There you go. Yeah. All right. Well, thanks, Jamie. I want to clear up something in the chat. They were talking about G.I. Joe. Yeah. Stern does not have the G.I. Joe license. Beryl has the G.I. Joe license. But they're not releasing that until 2028. Okay. They haven't started on it yet. Well, I know we're all excited for that. Hell yeah. And they have the knowledge of the IP there. But Beryl doesn't do multiple backgrounds. They have one version, and I kind of would like a version of Zartan or Destro. Oh, you're saying they have different trim levels with different art packages based on different Janos Kiss. Yeah, that'd be cool. I don't know. I fucking love Zartan, dude. With the swamp people and everything. Some badass people. Sorry, Bagels. Yeah, Stern's awesome. Yeah. There was a miniseries within the new series where it was just, it was all dreadnought. It was like five issues. Oh, yeah, that's fantastic. Wait, it's new stuff? Yeah, so it's kind of complicated. So there is the original G.I. Joe, a real American hero comic. It's the same series from back in the 80s. Like, I still have them. I mean, I still collect them. I have all of them. And it's the same writer, Larry Hama. It's like he never stopped or he just started it again? He never stopped. Oh, really? I did not know that. Well, there may have been some breaks here and there. He's like 80 years old. So but now there's a new series that just started, I think, last year. That's a whole new that's a whole new arc and storyline. Shit, that's cool. I did not know that. And the new series, it combines with the new Transformers series, so there's a crossover between Transformers and G.I. Joe. No shit? Well, back in the day there was a crossover with Transformers and G.I. Joe. I don't remember that. I don't know why I don't because I watched both of those things pretty religiously, but I don't remember that. That's cool. All right, I'm going to have to check that out. What's going on with Jamie? He just left. The fucking dog is distracting me. Who let the dogs out? Yeah, she's distracting me. I love her, but she's distracting me. Chad also asked me a little minute ago, why am I wearing a call center mic? It's not a call center mic, wiseass. A call center mic would only have one ear cup, right? That's right. Yeah, totally one cup. It's an audio technical. What you have is more like the Wendy's drive-thru. Yeah. You want a double stack? Isn't that the sportscaster one? Like a lot of ESPN uses that. Yeah, I like it because I move my head and I talk too much like this, so it works for me. You need that. You need something like that. Yeah, good job, Jamey. Thank you very much. All right, we got 10 minutes for Burke. Do you think he'll show up? Let's do a poll. Do you think he shows up on time? Do you remind him? I just texted him a little while ago. Do you want to text him too? Do you text him back? No. He'll be here. The reason we're having Rob Burke is we've got questions for Rob. So if you're watching now, Rob, we want to hear all about Expo. We got 15 minutes for you. It's going to be great. That sounds a little threatening when you said that. Oh, I don't mean it like that. You're like, we have questions for you. I'm like, oh, okay. What are we asking them? I didn't know. It's controversial, but. So while we're still on, are we going back to Barrows or we're done with P3? I'm done. I don't know. What's on the notes? Well, I'm not going to ask that question. Oh, well, Beryl's is about – it seems like they're about to release something also. They have to be. P3 is releasing something on the 27th. Yes. And Beryl's closed. You know, what's the pyramid scheme thing they had going on? Beryl's Reserve. Beryl's Reserve is not the pyramid scheme. I don't know how it works, but they closed it. Like, you could join it, but they're closing it Friday. Isn't that the deal? Yeah, they close that tomorrow. So did they announce a cap on memberships? Like, did they say we were only going to have so many? I really didn't follow it. I just, no. No caps. But there will be a cap because it's going to stop. So it's whatever, when they stop, it's done, right? Whatever, they stop for tomorrow, yeah. Right. But the only reason they would stop it is because they're about to release something, right? Oh, that's a good point because you wouldn't want someone to be able to join it. Yeah, I get that. Because once the game drops and then once they say, oh, it's sold out, the people that are in the barrels club, they get a week to decide if they want one. Well, and that's a wiki good point, Kale, because honestly, you've got to think about it, too. If they had too many, they don't even have the capability to make that many extra, you know what I mean, in order to keep things rolling. So I almost feel like they would have to cap. I mean, they're not telling us what the cap is, but. Yeah, I mean, what if 500 people joined? Yeah, they'd never be able to do it. They can hardly make 500 games, period. Do you think this is a good idea of the barrels reserve in and of itself? Yeah, well, because why not? Right? Why is it not a good idea? I think it is a good idea. I think it's cool as long as – I don't really think there's anything to shit on because if you're a fan of a certain manufacturer and you know this would – you know how much it sucks when you want a license and you can't get it. Like if someone wanted Beetlejuice and they didn't get it or maybe the upcoming Goonies, like to be able to pay a not – I mean it's not a super expensive membership fee to be able to know I'm going to get it. Dude, we're all crazy. Like we want to get the thing. And if this secures the thing, I think it's actually cool for that. Because I was saying, if Spooky did it and no one would trap on it. I think they do do it, don't they? They have some kind of membership thing, but it's not this. Yeah, but I don't think it's like this. Yeah, it's not like this, but they do have some kind of membership thing. Yeah, but does that still exist? It's advertised on their old games, but I can't remember if that's actually still a thing. Hey, real quick, the Electrophobia. What does the S stand for on JBS? Jamey Bullshit Show is what the name of the show is. It really does. It really, really is. That is not a joke. It is the Jamie Bullshit Show because that's what we do for a living is we bullshit. What about the Antonio Cruz? Are we all going on a Antonio Cruz next year? Are we going to join Barrels Reserve tonight so that we can get our spot on the Antonio Cruz? What's the cost? I don't even know. What does it cost to do it? Is that a real thing? Yeah. You can go on the Antonio Cruz, but you can't do Antonio Cruz events with the Barrels people unless you're a Barrels Reserve member. Oh, for real? True story. Oh, wait, you can't go on the Antonio Cruz unless you're part of the reserve? Hold on a second. partake in any of the barrels of fun, barrels reserve Antonio Cruz of exclusive events. Oh, wow. You know a lot about this. I research. So you can buy a ticket to go on the boat. Let me get this straight. Let's run through this. Okay, run through it. You Yes. But, like, if you get on there, like, there's going to be a private area for only people in the barrels, like the $75 thing. You're damn right. They're going to play pinball? You don't think you could slide, David, like a C-note and get in there? I think we could slide David a scene note and get in there, but maybe someone coming off the street, maybe not. Right. I got Mason trying to close a deal on the side. He's like, you need a Barrels of Fun Antonio Cruz video, dude. He's trying to get me to. Yeah. He's trying to close a deal right now. So, Wolf, thank you so much for the five bucks. He's still voting that Kern makes an owl topper. We need an owl topper. It's a great show. Everyone wants it. Thanks, Wolf of Nose. So you get a special rate for being a member also. It's cheaper to pay the $75. Jamey, I'm confused right now. I'm on the website. I can't even find how to join it. Is it shop membership? Is that it? Oh, I got it. Never mind. $75 a year. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It lasts for the whole year. Yes. It's like, I mean, it's a no-brainer. If you're into barrels of fun games, it's $75. I mean, I spend that on lunch. Yeah, I mean, that's actually not bad to give you the access to the game. Yeah, I guess I might join it. I might join it today. Well, why not? Wait, is today the last day? Yes, join it right now. Put your credit card in. I'm going to join it. I'm joining it while you guys are talking. Because here's the thing. Yeah, you know, let's say, you know, the game sells out. You'll be able to get one. Let's say you get on the list to get the game. Just get an extra. You can flip it. Yeah. Hell yeah. Dude, I'm in. I'm selling. David owes me money. David owes me cash, dude. David owes me money. I'm going to come on the boat. You just got a subscription for me. Well, actually, I'm having a problem. It says I can't. Uh-oh. Dude, what's going on? Is it close already? Shit, dude. Did it? Hold on. All right. I'm good. I got to fill out a bunch of shit, though. Well, do it later. All right. I'll do it later. But what time does it close? Is it Texas time? You'll be all right tonight. You'll be fine. Keep the window open. Thank you. I need you guys to be my brain. Okay, get the law to do it. You'll get it. So are you going on a Antonio Cruz? You know who calls me up out of the blue? I mean, I talk to him all the time, and he goes, Joe Chervino. Oh, I love it. We talked about him on the back half. You did? Yeah. Okay. Joe's like, hey, would you go on this Antonio Cruz with me? Oh, it's like, what was it, with John Candy, the planes, trains, and automobiles? You're going to wake up with your hand in between his butt cheeks? I'd cuddle with Joe. I would cuddle with Joe, but I just can't see me being stuck on a boat for seven days with pinball people. Wait, that's a seven-day Antonio Cruz? Yeah. Wow. Dude, I don't even know if I couldn't do seven days at sea. There's no way. You couldn't do seven days at sea? Those boats are great. They're fantastic. No, I need like a three-day. I'm not a Antonio Cruz guy, though. What kind of? This is a Royal Caribbean. This is a really nice oasis ship. It's like a city. Yeah. You could stay on this thing and not see Jamie the whole damn time. I've gone on. I'm a diamond member of Royal Caribbean, to be honest with you, because when the kids were little, We would stick them in the kids club and Jeanine and I could enjoy a vacation together. So I love cruising. I just don't know if I want to play pinball in the middle of the ocean. I hear a lot about the diarrhea. Yes, dude. I watched that stupid poop Antonio Cruz documentary and now I can't unsee that because people don't wash their fucking hands because they're disgusting. And that's what happens to them. You know? So how many cruises have you gone on, J? I didn't know this was like a thing. I've been on like 10. You're a Antonio Cruz guy. I've been on like 10. Yeah. Yeah, one carnival, which is kind of like going on a Walmart in the middle of the sea, and then the rest is like Royal Caribbean is like an upscale target. It's nice. Okay. And the Beryl's one is Royal Caribbean? Yeah, it's Royal Caribbean. It's an eighth ship. And that's top of the food chain with boats, right? It's one of the tops. No, there's definitely, you know, some better ships out there, but Royal Caribbean is definitely a good line. And it is out of Galveston, which is pretty convenient for me. Now, tell me, I'm really not familiar with all this. Is he like releasing a game on the boat? Not that it's advertised. Not that it's advertised that way. The only way it's advertised. Why are you going on a boat with him? Because, actually, good question, Kale. It's because you can partake in our private room with about 20 games, pinball tournaments, meet and greets, and other club events. Yes. Anyone can do that. Anyone can sail, but only the special pinball events. Oh, the pinball events require the barrel reserve, which is what Jamie said. So it sounds like you're just literally going on the boat and then you can't do any of the other cool stuff. Here's the thing. Arguable whether it's cool. Here's the thing. That would only make sense to me and be cool if he was releasing a game. That would be really cool if it was. You can do the same thing you can do at Expo or Southern Fried, but it's on a boat. Right. But it's not really because it's not really like it's just he's just piggybacking off of currently running Antonio Cruz. So you're going to go to Roatan, which is in Honduras. It sounds like he planned a like a trip with his family and he was like, let's let's turn this into a tax write off. Yeah. Good move. Yeah. Another smart move. Hey, I mean, we're kind of making some money here. All right. So that's a no for you two on the. Are you a boat guy, Kale? Like, do you like cruises? Like, is this something that you and Rachel would do? No, no. Yeah. See, I'm not a Antonio Cruz. Yeah. No, Joe, I'm sorry, brother. I love you, but I'm not going. Is Joe going? Joe, I think is seriously going. I really do. I think Joe is definitely going. And I asked Janine, I said, would you go? And she goes, not a bad idea. So there's an opening. When is it actually happening? Next year, next July, I think. You know what would be really cool? If like you could pay to like build your machine. Like go there and build it? But yeah, like you, like I hope to God they can build a machine in a day at some point. And so like you go there, maybe it takes two days, I don't know. But you follow your machine through the whole line. Oh, and you get to see it on every stop throughout it. Yeah, but they don't make the game. Yeah, they let you hold a drill and you're like, oh, you're doing something. So you feel like you're doing something. Yeah, like here, hold this stuttering iron and take a picture. You're like, oh, you're great, man. He did good. I don't know about that. To me, that's cooler than doing it on a boat, you know, because you get to see how the magic happens. Yeah. No, that would be a little special behind the scenes thing. And it would be even cooler if, well, there would be no way to do this, you know, because of, you know, cell phones and Internet. Like, you build your machine before it's even announced, but, you know, that's impossible. Mason said, like, build a bear but for pinball. Yes. Like, I don't want that powder coat. I want the other powder coat. Yeah, I don't want my rubbers to be this color. That's what American pinball is doing, right? That's what they said in that one interview. Yeah, a la carte. That seems very expensive. I mentioned it, actually, the dude that I, why do I always forget his name? You remember his name, Jamie, the American guy. John Kors. I asked him about that, actually. I said, hey, that seems really, from the outside looking in, it seems like that would be really difficult to do. With all these custom things. And he said it wasn't. Chris in the chat, I think building your own machine would void the warranty. It's not a terrible idea. That'd be the strategy. Like, well, you got it. You take it from here. That's awesome. Are we getting split themes again like Family Guy and Shrek? I think that's been. Isn't that is that known? Is that a known thing? I don't think that anything is known. I don't know whether they're releasing one or two. There's rumors out there that they're releasing one. No, no, they said they... No, didn't they have that little graphic that showed the two cabinets? No? Or was that AI? I thought they released a thing that had the two cabinets. I thought so, too. It could have been AI, but I know I saw something like that. I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying what I saw. I don't know whether it was legit or not. I'm not saying shit. All right. Hold on. I'm going to look on Facebook. I don't know. Kameida just went live. Of course you did. I swear we just, yeah, I swear we just, I don't know. I swear we saw that. Can you see it, Ralph? Can you see it? What? Hey, while we're waiting, I want to show you a picture. We can keep going, right? I mean, if he. Well, we're not going to, he's not going to come. He's not going to show. So we keep going. Let's keep going. But I want to show you something that you sent today. Wait, possible merch down the line for the round table? This is mock-ups. This is not anything. This is mock-ups. Yeah, this was literally my buddy Cole. He sent it to me and he goes, hey, check this out. Oh, here. Can you see it? Yeah, I can see it. That looks really cool. I would like it black, though, with the white. Yeah, this wasn't like, he just said I'll be throwing this together. But, yeah, I can see, like, what. So our parts are white and the shirt's black? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Because I like to wear black. Yeah, same. It's slimming. We got some – I got some work to do before Expo, boys. I got to drop at least 10 LBs before Expo. That will get you there, man. All right. I don't know what that means. How are you going to do that? I'm starting to walk more again, and I'm going to get back on the Peloton, and I'm definitely cutting out sugar. You know, cut out sugar, carbs, cut out no bread, zero. So if you listen to me, this will do it. Okay. You have to stop the Diet Cokes, that's poison. You have to stop the tobacco or the nicotine things. Yeah, you got to get rid of that. But listen to this real quick while you're talking about those. They just came out with a cherry. Yeah, see, you're addicted. It's delicious. Because getting rid of that stuff is going to stop with the dopamine spikes you're trying to fill. Yeah. Cut out all sugar. Yeah. No bread, no pasta. Mm-hmm. And walk three miles a day. That's all you have to do. That's all I do. That's what I did last time. I got on the bike a little more. No, no, no, you're not listening. You have to do everything I said. You can't just cherry pick certain things. So another thing, and then the key is do not eat after 6 p.m. Sex? Yeah. What about 7? That's my flaw. I don't eat too late. No, 6. You're too old to be eating after 6. I mean, that's just how things work. That's just science, bro. What are you laughing at? Someone's saying their parents. No, I'm laughing because you're too old to be eating after six. Yeah. Dude, I'm telling you, if you do all of that, you will be 100% more healthier than you are right now. But I think, Jamie, I can sense you're overwhelmed right now. I think you just need to have a time frame to go, all right, I'm going to chip away at these things, and by this date I'm going to do this, by that date I'm going to do that. Because I don't think you can cold turkey. You have too many vices. I know. I got a lot of vices. I got problems. Your Diet Coke, I'm not, I have no faith that you could stop drinking Diet Coke. Zero. Like, I would place bets all day on that you could never do it. I don't know why. I feel like you're just so addicted. Out of all my vices, I think that Diet Coke would be the hardest. I think so, too. When we were at Texas Pinball Festival, Kale, it was like this thing, if it got low, he's like, we gotta go to the thing. I'm like, holy shit. You're addicted to that. All right, we got a couple of super chats that came in. Oh, thank you, guys. Stringer Films, $2, said, this is the estimated Winchester value if the boat sinks. Stringer's always good for comedy, that's for sure. Mythos Pinball with a $50 super chat. Thank you so much, Mythos. That's huge, man. Much love, guys. Hopefully see you at Expo. You will see all of us at Expo. So I can guarantee you that. So you'll see us there. What days are you coming in? I'm Wednesday through Sunday. Okay. I don't do Tuesday because there's like no point on Tuesday. Are you coming Wednesday, Kale? There is no point on Wednesday. But I come in late. Early on Thursday. I always come in early. I'm not sure. Rachel makes the plans. Okay. But I don't come until late Wednesday. Not early Wednesday. I'm going to come in Wednesday. What are we going to see at Expo? Well, we're going to see Fallout. We're going to see Fallout before Expo. We'll see Fallout before then. Yeah. Okay. We'll – Oh, I don't know. Goldfinger? We'll probably see something from Pinball Brothers. Oh, yes. Rachel just chimed in. We'll be there Wednesday through Sunday. Oh, thank you, Rachel. Okay, so Wednesday through Sunday. So my company has an office up there, so I'm going to come in Monday, work from the office Tuesday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. And then go to Expo. I got this shit all figured out, guys. You know, Diet Coke is like Grandpa's cough medicine, according to Wolf there in the chat. I see that, Wolf. I passed that by. For new stuff, like the things you'll obviously see is Jersey Jax is going to have Sonic there. I mean, that you're going to see. I predict. I don't know who's making it, but I predict you're going to see a Dungeon Caller Carl. Yeah. Maybe we'll see CGC's Halo, but that would be a shot in the dark. Maybe. That would be amazing. That would be cool. Maybe we would see Dutch's Back to the Future. Maybe. No chance. Whatever Beryl's releases will be there. Whatever Pinball Brothers releases will be there. Goonies, for sure. I don't think they're going to have the game, right? I don't think they'll have a game. They should, because it'd be awesome. I don't think they're going to. I think they might say that it's coming. game. I hope they do. I hope I'm wrong. It would be cool. I mean, because if you play it there, that may be the last time you play it because they're all sold. So it's crazy that they're all sold. What's all sold? Goonies. You can't even get one. I mean, I say they're all sold, meaning there's probably so many wait lists and so many distributors that once they're through that, that's it. If you aren't on a list, you probably not get one. That's a good point, Wolf. I forgot about that. We're going to see ACDC rematch. Oh, that's true. That's true. Do you think we'll get that Goldfinger thing this year? Because if that's real, because I love that. No, it's 100 percent real. But would that be this year? All right. All this diet cook. I have to go to the restroom. Keep going. You guys are doing great. Yeah. I mean, it's the Ralph show. Let's go. Hey, real quick, Ralph. Text your boy and get him to come on. OK, thanks. Oh, this is good. I just got a text message, but I don't know. When I'm on my computer, I can't see the name sometimes, and it says, I just got Wizard Mode on this bitch-ass game, and it's a picture of Pulp Fiction. Oh, good job. I don't know who that was. Oh, it's Hunter. You know Hunter, right? Do you know Hunter, Kale? Hey, this is fascinating. Oh, no, you don't know Hunter. It's Hunter. Yeah, Hunter's great. Yeah, it's Hunter that just texted me. I love Hunter. Yeah, he's cool. He moved out of Phoenix, man. He lives in Utah now. I'm bummed. He left. I was wondering why we haven't heard from him. Yeah, he left. I'm kind of bummed because he's a good dude. He was fun to play pinball with. He's a great guy. So, I don't know, man. What else do you think could be at Expo? I mean, we all know what the Stern stuff is. J.J.P. is going to be Sonic. David is talking about the 40th anniversary Transformers. You know, that was on that Taiwan. Yeah, I read it. Taiwanese site. But what was weird about it, this is what it looked like to me. I just read what it said. It looked like they're just packaging the games in a different way out there because the mirrored back glass wasn't on what they call the LE. It was on the 40th. But then there was nothing else really. There was maybe a couple little minor differences. So I think they're just packaging them different for that market. That's what it sounds like. I don't think that's coming here. Nobody told me anything about that. And I don't think they would do that this soon anyway for the U.S. market because, you know, they do care a little bit about pissing people off, at least in the short term. I think in the long term they don't care. But I mean, I don't know. The way I look at it is if Stern has a license that does really well and sells well, I can't blame them for going, let's rerun this because they're making money if they rerun it. Like, I don't know. I don't I don't have any issues with that. But I also don't view these things as ultra limited things. They make a lot of them, and only the limited one or the collector's edition on Jersey Jack or whatever. Right, right. Yeah, I don't know. Oh, check this out. I heard – you've heard the rumor about the Mountain Dew game? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard they're going to use the Bond 60th layout for that. Really? Yeah, the Magic Plunger. What's the name? Toilet. No. Midnight Plunger. That would probably piss off the 60th people. Pretty bad, I would think. Yeah. Don't you think you'd be pissed if you just paid $20, 000 for a game that now looks like Mountain Dew? But I heard it was super, super limited. Like they're only just making like 10 or 50 of them or something for this. Yeah, something crazy like that. Yeah, because it's not going to be – is it made just for that, like for them, or is it actually going to be available to – or is it just for like Mountain Dew? Is that limited? Yeah, it's got to be for Mountain Dew or like places that sell Mountain Dew really well. You know, we got a we had a can crusher. We actually we got it from Pabst Blue Ribbon because at the time the Yucca Tap Room was like number one in the nation for Pabst Blue Ribbon sale. Oh, no shit. And so the rep, like, sold it to the owner for, like, you know, I mean, it wasn't, like, dirt cheap, but it was a good deal. You know what game I keep seeing? It's, like, a newer game. Did you see – you remember, like, Root Beer Tapper, right, or Beer Tapper? Oh, hell yeah. You remember the game Tapper? Mm-hmm. There's a company out in Utah, Allen 1, and they released, like, a – it's, like, a new version of that game. But you have to pour drinks like that. It's amazing. I feel like Tapper would be a cool – I know that you guys don't have too much on the video game side, but I feel like a modern Tapper game would probably do really well at the bat. Like, I think people would have fun with that. Well, we had Tapper. We had the real Tapper. Did you? I can't remember. The Budweiser one. And we sold it because we were just tired of dealing with CRTs. Yeah, I get that. But that game you're talking about, that is better than Tapper. That is an amazing – it's called Perfect Pour. Yeah, yeah, Perfect Pour. It's cool. It's really cool. Dude, that game is awesome. Yeah, I played it in Vegas. It's cool. Yeah, it's a great game. But I think it only comes in a large form factor, though. I don't think they have a small one. See, if they had a small one, that would be cool at the bat, I think. Oh, like a little tabletop? Like if they had a too poor one instead of, because the one I saw was giant. It was too big for the bat, I think. It would take up too much of your pinball space. All right. What do you got, Jamie? Burke's not calling in. What do you got? Did he tell you? No, he just ditched us. Canceled. Canceled us. All right. Transformer movie mode just came out today, right? Yesterday? And do you just hold the left flipper like? Both flippers. Yeah. Yeah, it's like a mini wizard mode, but it's cool as hell, man. Did you play it, Kale? Or did you not get a chance to do it? Do you like it? No, I totally played it, but, like, I didn't pay attention to what else. I just fired it up, and, you know, you told me to turn the speakers. Yeah. Cranked it up real loud. And then so I'm playing, you know, I'm playing and I didn't pay attention to what I was supposed to be doing. And then it just it was like game over. And I was like, whoa, what the hell happened? Oh, you must have got. Yeah, because it does time out after a while. So it does run like a ball saver for quite a quite a while in the beginning. But maybe if you weren't paying attention, it probably just like timed out or something. Right. I was like I was like talking to people and goofing off. Yeah. So I didn't get to experience it. I'll play it some more. It seems everybody who's gotten into it has told me it's very cool. So Elizabeth Elizabeth Gieske saw that I posted about it, and she was like, I don't usually look through all the comments and stuff, but I was reading it, and she goes, I was so happy at what people were saying about it. She goes, it made me almost emotional that people liked it that much, which is cool, because I think she really puts her heart and soul into this stuff. I like seeing that game get more exposure, because I actually think the game's really cool. It just had that little bad mishap with the Optimus thing that kind of caused a little bit of a, you know, it caused people to maybe be less interested in it. So I think when they play it, they'll like it. But, yeah, the movie mode is cool as that. I've been playing the hell out of it at Eureka. Kale, Ralph, and I kind of went up against each other on a live stream a week ago. You know what? I did not get in the chat, but I was flip-flopping back and forth. Oh, you were doing it. Oh, okay. Oh, cool. Yeah. So we're going to figure out a way where we can combine the streams. I did figure out a way. He did, actually. And so in about a month we'll do. We have to test it. I need you to have time to test it, though. I have time. Okay. You know what my favorite part of that stream was? What? Was like you guys agreed to like rules for the little tournament. Yeah, Kale, we did agree. And then Jamie tried to change it halfway through the tournament. But here's what's funny about that. I had people coming from his chat over to our chat being like, hey, Jamey's changing the rules. What do you mean? So then they're like going back and forth between chats trying to figure out what the hell Jamey's talking about. You can't do that. You can't change the rules of a tournament in the middle of a tournament. John was playing like shit. John was playing like shit and I needed an advantage. I needed help. I was tearing it up that night. Rudy and I both were killing it. You and Rudy were crushing it, and John and Jamie were totally, not only were they shitting the bed, they were rolling in it, getting in their hair. It was so bad. I did not expect that, to be honest. I thought you guys were going to kill it. We were drinking. We got there way too early. Oh, it was the beer. Okay. Well, I was drinking these seltzers. Seltzers? Yeah. Like what? Bad seltzers. What's that stuff called that one drink? Zima. White Claws? He was drinking Zima. I was drinking Zima. I threw a Jolly Rancher in it. I threw up the worst drinking throw-up of my life on Zima. Like, there's this disgusting thing in there. I would never, if I smelt it, if I even smelt the cap of one of those, I'd throw up probably. Nasty. It was the worst. Is this a super chat from Noob? Yeah, yeah. Do people, the Pintball machines float if the boat sinks, like the door in Titanic. Thanks for the super chat, dude. They don't. They don't float. Unfortunately. It's too bad we're not going on that Antonio Cruz together. That'd be fun. Too long. Be fun. I got time to convince you. I got time. Wolfman says, Transformers is spectacular. The movie mode is incredible on its own. He's a big fan of Transformers, and he's really enjoying it. He's been texting me every now and then. And how cool is it they're redoing – they're like remastering that movie and it's going to be on the big screen. I'm going. Oh, dude, I know. I just found out about that yesterday. Someone told me. I was like, dude – and it's only – is it one day only or something? I don know but we have to get tickets Got to go to that Like that going to be did you ever see the movie Jamey You hate Transformers right I just was a G Joe guy So you saw the G Joe movie Did you see the G Joe movie I've seen all the G.I. Joe movies, yeah. I mean, the live actions were terrible. Not the live. I'm talking about the animated movie. Yeah, that's fantastic. That's amazing. That's really great. What made Kodiak Kidd not be into Transformers? Kodiak, you know, he loved his wrestling and he loved his G.I. Joe. Did you have the wrestling action figures with the little ring? Every one of them. Oh, yeah. Name one and I had it. You would have got beat up in my neighborhood. Why? I had the ring too, Jamey, so it's cool. I had the ring. I had the Hulkster. I had Junkyard Dog. I even had Miss Elizabeth, dude. Did you ever have a Rarity Piper? Fuck yeah. Iron Sheet? Of course. Ted DiBiase. Don Deel, Million Dollar Man. The Road Warriors. They didn't have... The Rock and Roll Express. They didn't have them. You had to have an Andre one, right? Fuck yeah, of course. Yeah. Big John Studd. Did they have a Hacksaw Jim Duggan one? I don't remember. Yeah, but he didn't come with a wood. He didn't come with a wood. He didn't? That's like a missed opportunity. He came with an American flag. Okay. Well, the wood would have been linked. Yeah, that's totally his thing. That's your boy, Jengist. Yeah, hold on. Hold on. Yeah. Hello! Another super chat. Have you played the arcade game Black Emperor? I've never even heard of it. I have. I think that's the one with the wheel, if I remember right. Isn't that the one with the wheel where it's the motorcycle, or am I thinking of a different game? I don't even think of a different game. I have no idea. I don't know. That's what I thought it was, but it's like a homebrew game. Okay, so I'm going to keep you guys on check. Next question. Does Barrels have SpongeBob? Where is that coming from? I don't know where that came from. That came from you, didn't it? Me? Did that come from you? No. I don't know where that rumor popped up, but that makes more sense than Bon Jovi. Okay, okay, moving right along. Yeah, let's go ahead. All right, you want to do the next one? Go ahead. So, Gonzo's show, I guess Owen Gonzo's show, Enzo brought up issues he's had with barrels games, HDMI cables being run along, power causing audio issues. We keep saying this, but there's QC on these basic things, Opto's being zip-tied and not registering. What's the deal? Tell me what's the deal with the build quality. All I can say is I'll say I want to I'll just say I like barrels games. Not like I don't know. With the exception of Labyrinth, I just wasn't a fan, but I like their games. But it's obvious to me from like your guys's experience at the bat and a couple of my friends that have bought them and my experience with Labyrinth. They do not have it tightened up on the QC side for sure. Like that needs to get figured out because I mean, I just take Winchester. Everyone's like, oh, Winchester's the latest game. It's going to be great. And it is a great game. But when you guys got it, man, there was crazy stuff from a QC perspective that is not acceptable to me for like a commercial product. So like they got to tighten that stuff up. Man, it is. So we learned a lot operating Winchester. We didn't learn a lot when we tried to operate Dune because they don't have customer service at Barrels of Fun. You know, their customer service is very bare bones. You cannot, like, escalate a problem to an expert, you know. But during Winchester, we were able to do that. So, like, we were on a group thread with Carl and Aaron from Fast Pinball. And holy crap, we learned stuff that, I mean, we didn't, we learned so much. Like, building pinball machines is hard as fuck. Like there's magic behind the scenes that most people do not realize is going on, especially with electronics. Like it's very easy to do artwork for a pinball machine. You know, it's easy to do a basic layout. You know, it's hard to do an expert layout like something like, you know, Keith Ellman's going to do. I mean, that takes a special individual. But it's easy. You can set up a layout where a ball goes through paths and you hit it with flippers. Sound. So you have to think like Beryl is still a startup. They just started doing this. And what they're doing right now is mind blowing for a company that's been around for what, three years? Yeah. Something like that. Three to four years. I mean, they're raising the bar in areas that we haven't seen, like the audio package and the sound effects and all that, and the fact that they're using, although there are other companies doing it too, like JDP and Spooky, they really do focus on higher quality audio systems, but when you pair that with the whole package and you've got a cool layout, cool lighting, and then amazing audio, it becomes more of an experience. So like the QC thing, don't don't get that confused with me not liking barrels. I do like barrels. I just want to get they got to button up that stuff. Yeah, well, but you have to like look at how barrels has grown. They just got a person doing sound like like before Jeff, like the reason Jeff is working at barrels is because David David Van Es was on Jeff's podcast and they started chatting. And, you know, Jeff found out nobody was doing sound at barrels. They didn't, I don't know whether they didn't think it was important. So, I mean, they were, like, you got to think about, like, sound is so incredibly important. Sound is more important than visuals. It really is. And, you know, genetically, like humans, you're more reactive to sound than anything, you know. And so there's no like frame rate in sound. It's such a very important visceral thing. You have to think about most people, like 99% of the people walking around do not understand what ducking is, you know. So like they were just like triggering MP3s probably from, you know, for different ways. And now they have like a real sound designer, you know, that's doing like real, real incredible work that's noticeable. You know, you got to think before Jeff, they didn't even think that was a big deal. And it's probably the same thing with electrical engineering. Like they have a massive problem with electrical engineering. And we learned a lot about that when we were troubleshooting all the bugs in Winchester. Like there was shit that was like way over our head. We were like, holy shit, I didn't even know you had to think about this kind of stuff. I mean, like, like, I mean, I could tell you all about it, but it would put everybody to sleep. But they, yeah, I mean, that's something that they need to get a hold of. You know, I talked to Bug, and I was like, after dealing with Winchester, and I was like, man, like I had no idea, like the stuff you have to worry about when you're developing a pinball machine, all of these EMI issues. And he was like, yeah, it's a big, big deal. And he's like, the electrical engineers at all of these manufacturing facilities, they are the most important people in the building, but the least known. Yeah, I can see that. And it was like – so we had – so there's some stuff I really can't talk about because there's NDAs involved, but there are like – even Stern calls in outside contractors to fix their EMI issues. Like even the big boys. Okay. It's a big, big thing that I think the customers and nobody else has any. It's fucking wizardry. It's really crazy shit. And Beryl's just doesn't have a good grasp on it yet. Yeah, I mean, even the fact that now when you stream a Stern Spike 3, that output I'm getting out of that HDMI port for video and audio sounds great. There's no feedback. There's no noise. There's no scratchiness. It sounds like I'm ripping it right from the board, which you are. It sounds good. I was worried about that, that they were going to have a poor implementation on that, but it's so easy to stream a Stern Spike 3. I was actually surprised you didn't grab the LCD when we streamed with you guys, Jamey. You know, I can't put that together as quickly as you can. I screw that up, and I'd rather just use the camera. I got you. But maybe for Walking Dead Remastered when we do that in a month. Yeah. I'll grab it. Hey, real quick, Kale and I had a discussion, and I think this is a good time for it. We were talking about streaming pinball, okay? And the number one streamer in our industry is Fox Cities Pinball, right? Would you say that? Fox Cities and IE Pinball? Yeah. Those two? Yeah, I think just Tom. Tom. I think Tom's the top person right now just because he's so active. Numero uno. He gets the best venues, the best. Yeah, Carl's too busy designing machines. Designing machines, right. Yeah. And I'm happy for that, too. Yeah, me too. But he doesn't show the commentators. And when I was at Barrels, not at Barrels, when I was at Multimorphic, I ran into Carl Colin MacAlpine, who works for them. What were you doing at Multimorphic? I was looking at their newest game. Oh, okay. And Colin MacAlpine was there. I walked up to Colin. I said, let me tell you something. You and Steven Bowden together were the best team that I've ever seen. And he goes, thank you so much. Thank you. Phenomenal. And anyone that didn't, you go back and watch Fox Cities, but he doesn't put a commentator cam on the guys. Okay? It would have been so good. I think, yeah, I wanted to see Collin and Steve Bownen's reactions to, you know, Eric Stone and all these guys that were playing great pinball. Maybe it wasn't Eric Stone, I don't remember who it was, but. Well, that was one of the games, right? Yeah. Why don't they do that? Tom, listen, I'm not going to make this into a reel. Didn't you say Tom told you that he wants the player to be the star? And that's what he did. That's what he told me. He said the players are the star, not the commentators. But I think when you've got a duo such as Kama, Kowpine and Steven Bowden, they are the stars. OK, and you got to put them on your screen. You got to put them on because I want to see their reactions just as much as my reaction at home. So here's what I have to say. So I think last time you were telling me about that, Tom wants it to be more like NFL or NBA or something like that. And I think that that's just old media. Like when you – it's really outdated. If you go to Twitch or YouTube and you see the biggest streamers out there, you can see their face. You get a connection with them. Yeah. You know, like in a competitive pinball screen, I think that's what you need. Like when it was Jack Danger, could you imagine if Jack Danger just showed the play field? Right. Yeah, you'd have no connection to him. Yeah. Right. So I think this is our plea to you, Tom, is that you're the best out there. But we need to see the commentators because it really brings something. There's something special when I watch the bat on Twitch. You know, to give you a shout out, there's something special about Sturge and you and your camaraderie and the reactions that you have to the game that's being played. And they're missing out on this on these huge tournaments, especially because they're on the front page on Twitch. He's getting thousands and thousands of people watching, and they needed to be introduced to Colin MacAlpine and Steve Bown. So we had a chat from Mad Bruh, and he said at least put them on cam in between games. Because they don't even do that, right, if I remember? Sometimes they do. Sometimes. But he needs another rig, too. And too bad I sold all my stuff. But he does need another rig. So there you go. You're really trying to push that. Well, he needs to, man. You know, it's such a great tournament, and there's no downtime when you have the second rig. And you make the second rig is your looking group. Okay. All right. Our featured group is on rig one. Yada, yada. All right. Let me get rid of this dog. God damn, fucking bagel today. Ralph, did you watch, did you watch, there was like a world championships overseas, pinball world championships, and they had like, I think they had like four rigs. Oh shit, no I didn't, but were they cutting in between all four? No, they had them all on the screen at the same time. Oh. It might have been three, but it was three or four. I feel like I would only like that if I was playing on a, I feel like if I was watching on my phone that would suck, but if I was on a TV that would be pretty cool actually. It wasn't cool because you didn't know what was going on. You couldn't. Well, which one would they focus on talking to or would they talk about all of them at the same time? Because that would be really confusing. I can't even remember. Jamie, we're talking about, remember when they had the Pinball World Championships and they had like three or four rigs running at the same time? Yeah, that's JDL Pinball. That was a train wreck. That was a little much. Not a little much. You need to watch one game. I mean, unless it was like Red Zone NFL where you have all four and you can click on it and it would bring that one up and then you could focus on whichever one and the audio would be matched up. But that would cost so much frigging money to produce that. So I'm with you. I think four would be really hard to follow, especially on a phone. It's unwatchable on a phone. It's unwatchable. I would do the double rig and I had a scene on OBS back in the old joint. Where I would double rig it and I would ask the audience, do you want me to double rig it? And they would go no. I would consistently get no's because it's too much information. It's too much. So I was able to do it, but just because you could do it doesn't mean it's a good idea. So there you go. How did you move that? How did it not bow in the middle when you had the mega rig? Oh, the mega rig? How did it not bow? I didn't put any batteries in the middle. I had all my batteries and the weight on the sides of the MegaRig. Genius. Yeah. Good job. Good. Thank you very much. Let's move right along. Have we ever seen an IP holder announce a game before the manufacturer does? No. That's a dungeon crawler Carl. Yeah. So Matt Deniman announced it. He announced a pinball machine is being made. Yes, I can say that. He did. Are you not going to be invited back? I wish we wouldn't have gone live. I don't think I'm ever going to anything again. It's too much pressure. Can I be honest with you, guys? Can I be really truthful, Kale? I already heard all of this, okay? It's too much fucking pressure, okay? Sorry to swear. Well, this is what I don't get. You did a video on social media saying, please, if anybody in the pinball industry, please don't tell me anything because I can't keep my mouth shut. And they invited me anyway. And the next day, Jerry's like, hey, come on out here. So I think he wants you to tell people. No, he does not want me to tell. How do you know? Because he pulled me aside and said, please, you're the only one videoing. If any of these pictures get out, I'm going to murder you. So, not murder, but. They're going to call Al. They're going to put you in a room with Al, baby. So, Jamey, I feel like you put that pressure on you. Did they say to you? Oh, that's right. Kevin Enzo brought up a good point. Kevin Smith did it. He's the one that released it. Was it actually him? Okay. Oh, okay. But, Jamey, I feel like. Release what? What are you talking about? Yeah, what actually? I don't even know what we're talking about. I don't know. Okay, God, you guys are so slow. The question was, have we ever seen, and I'm going to read it real slow. Are you ready for this? I'm ready. Okay, now just listen. Don't make me mute your mics. Have we ever seen an IP holder announce a game before a manufacturer does in reference to Dundrum Crawler Carl? Enzo said Kevin Smith did it. With what game? With this game, Dungeon Crawler Carl. No. No, Cat Smith released. Bro, what the hell? What did he say? Oh, the Jay and Silent Bob thing, right? No. What the hell are we talking about? I don't know, Kale. You take control. Are they making a clerk's pinball machine? I don't know about it. Mall rats? What's happening? I don't know. I'm not following for some reason. Maybe they're not. Let's go to the next one. I don't even know what's happening. Real quick, let me finish up on my thing. So I call up Ralph, right, and I told him that I was going. And I'm like, I'm a podcaster that has a YouTube channel. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Like, I don't know where to stand. And he's like, just video everything. Video everything. So I bring the Osmo Pocket 3. Well, I didn't really say that, but. But you said video as much as you can. No, I was like, make sure you get the cabinet. Make sure you get gameplay. Make sure you, you know, I kind of tried to give you steps. I gave you steps. I didn't do any of it. No, Kale, he calls me. I was like, hey, how'd it go? He's like, I fucked up. I didn't really film anything. I'm like, what do you mean film anything? He's like, well, I got a little bit, but I said, I don't think it's good. I think it's bad. I was like, did you get gameplay? He's like, uh, like maybe a little. I was like, you got no gameplay. Holy shit. So my video comes out the 27th, okay? It's more of a vlog style that Mason had to help me with tremendously to get this thing even viewable. But here's the thing, Jamie. My advice to you next time is this. Okay. I'm not going to be in next time. They didn't put the – no, I have a way for you to do this where it won't be pressure on you. You didn't half the video. You could have said, hey, Jerry, I actually am more of like I do podcasts. It's kind of my thing. So I would rather go there and consume it and get that experience. And then I'll share that experience with my audience. Is that cool? I think you would have said, yeah. Yeah, that's you felt I think you felt like you had to film it. But but I feel like there's equal value in you do it talking about it on your podcast as there is doing a video. They're both very valuable things. If you share your experience, I'm going to want to hear that. So different media types, but I feel like it's both impactful. So he would agree to that next time. So just say, hey, I don't want a video, but I'll – I can't go because people are pointing at me like I was the one that released it, which I didn't. It's too much pressure. Too much pressure. Well, then don't go. I'm not going to. I don't know what to tell you. I'm not going to. I'm just going to film my reaction to it. Oh, wait. I finally got the Jay and Silent Bob thing. He's talking about the Kevin Smith thing. He's talking about how Kevin Smith talked about how he worked on D&D. Oh, that's right. It's forever. Yeah. Who said that up here? Oh, it's in the chat, too. OK, OK, I got it. I got it. Wow. That's I don't know why that took me that long. We're tired. We've been we've been talking for an hour and 40 minutes. We're not going three hours, boys. No, no, no. We're not going three hours. Since Rob Burke didn't join us, do you want to just say to the world what we want and see if he'll listen later and then give it to us? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, listen to our demands. Yeah. But we need, everybody in chat needs to email him, too. Do you want to give out his email address? Isn't it public? What if we give them the Pinball Expo one? Yeah. All right, hold on. Look it up. This is the email address for Rob. It's info at pinballexpo.com. Info at pinballexpo.com. Okay, here's what we need. The roundtable would like a seminar. Okay, and I know these seminars are booking quick. So not that anybody doesn't care about pin art and that sort of thing, but we want our own seminar, and we're going to go live from the Pinball Roundtable is going to go live from Expo in the seminar room. That's what we like, Ralph. Right? I love it. Yeah, and we can give people mics. Marco's going to drop his phone number in the chat. You know, it's a YOLO, right? I don't know if we drop his phone number. No, no, it's not too bad. Listen, listen, listen, Linda, this is what the people want. They want a live roundtable, Kale. Live roundtable, that's what they've been asking for for years. It'd be so fun. They've been asking for this shit for years. Yeah, it'd be so fun. I don't know if you guys know this, but one of the top pinball podcasts out there, if not the top pinball podcast, is the Pinball Roundtable now, ladies and gentlemen. Are you bullshit? We did it? We are doing it, not did it. I don't pay attention to numbers. Absolutely. Numbers don't lie. And we are podcast out there. The only one that beats us is right here named Retro Ralph. He's the only one that's beaten the roundtable on a consistent basis. So congratulations. Although the last roundtable, dude, slayed it. It was like over, I think it's over like 4, 000, like 4, 500. 4, 500 views. And that's just the video. That's not your audio. 2, 000 audio. Okay, so if we get $200, Marco will drop Rob Burke's number in the chat. No, we can't do that. We don't even have a moderator, so I don't even know. Jamie doesn't have to do that. Is that Marco and Ramirez, Area Code 330? Is he doing this right here? Yeah, that's my boy. That's your boy, Marco. Don't do that. Okay, I'm going to move us right along. Okay, so next we have Jamie went to the newest P3 module reveal. What can Jamie talk about after seeing the newest module? I guess I can talk about, you know, you were talking about sound earlier, and it has been announced that Glenn Glenn Waechter, our announcer, is doing work for Multimorphic on the P3 platform, and we can talk about that now. Can you tell us something that we can't Google? No. Oh my gosh, he's actually putting his real number. No, no, no. So far the digits are right. No. No, do not. Dude, do not. Seriously. Because Jamie doesn't know how to freaking, he doesn't know how to moderate anything. Just one more digit. No, no. The first three are here. Can you make Mason a mod? And then the next three are here. Marco won't do it. He might. The next three or two. Now we got people hanging him on. Do it. No, we will get so much over that. No, don't do it because although I know why he's doing it because Marco wants us to be in his booth like he did like we did last year, which was great. But we're going to do it somewhere. We're going to do it. We're going live. I'm bringing the YOLO box. I mean, we're going live. Yeah, yeah, for sure. For sure. Now, let's make sure we know. Like, last time we told Retro Ralph to bring the Roadcaster, and he didn't. That's right. Who's bringing that this time? I'm bringing two suitcases. I can bring the Roadcaster this time. That was a miscommunication. I did bring the camera, though. That was good. You brought the camera. Don saved the day on that one. Don had one night in his backpack. He's like, I got it. That was nice of Don. Thank you, Don. If Don is in the chat, I don't know why he's, why does he consistently crap on P3? Like he, there's some backstory to it. Like, I don't know the backstory. I thought I saw a post where he said he just wanted one. Now he wants one. See, I think he's just playing games. Come on, it's Don, man. Well, he still, hold on, next topic, next topic. Yeah, I'll screw up the story anyway. I think we're done. How does the community think about multimorphic? Oh, Eric did that. Ralph, your new studio looks good. Which machine would you – Jamie, you didn't even – you have to – so let me tell you something. When you go through these notes in order, it makes more sense. Now it doesn't make sense. I know. We screwed that up a little. I told you to take that one out, Daniel. What do you mean we? We're a roundtable. Okay, so check this out. Which machine would you rather own? I thought we weren't going to do this. Who said we weren't doing this? We can do it. It's fine. You guys play. Have fun. Which machine would you rather own? A P3 or a Stern home pin? This is messed up. A P3. I said a Stern Home Pin. This was on our chat. Ralph, what did you say? You said Home Pin, right? Not Home Pin. You said Stern Home Game. Well, I was taking it as it was the only one I could have. But then that doesn't make sense because if it was the only one you could have, then maybe the P3 is a better option because you can play different games. But I don't really love the way the P3 feels, so that's why I made the Stern. I'm not sold on P3 yet, quite yet. There is no P3 game I would rather have instead of a Stern Supreme game. Really? Yeah, that's based on the home layout. That's based on Spider-Man Home. And it's a cool freaking game. You didn't tell me, is there a P3 game you'd rather have than a Supreme? You wouldn't want to have a Supreme at home? No. I'd much rather have Heist. I'd much rather have. Have you played Supreme? No, I played, what's the Metal game? Heavy Metal. I take a Heavy Metal. It has nothing to do with Supreme. No, but it's the same layout, right? No, it's not. Oh, it's not. Okay, then I don't know. When did you guys get into pinball? I knew that Supreme came out, but I don't know the layout. Was it the Transformers Home Pin? No. No, it's based on the Spider-Man Home Edition. And what is heavy metal based on? I think Star Wars. Okay. Star Wars. I'm going to get Star Wars. Ozzy says he'd rather have a red and white Supreme, but he has a P3. Hell yeah. Ozzy could get a Supreme, right? I don't know. I feel like if I'm really being truthful, I was kind of joking, but I would want to. No, I'm not doing it to backpedal, but I probably would take the P3 because I already have a bunch of other machines, so it would be cool to have it to mix it up. Zizzle. No, you would not, Chris. That's so bad. Those things suck so bad. You would not. He would rather have a Zizzle than a P3? No, no, he's kidding. There's no way he's being serious. He's just joking. Would you rather have a Segway or a P3? I really have a segue more than anything. Where do I live? Do I live in a place where I need the transportation? Because then I might change my answer. I have a segue. Okay, that was a great, I love that. HD DVD versus Blu-ray? This was hard. This is going to be really confusing because this was Jamie and I saying that when we were, I don't even know how the hell Jamie and I started talking about this. I asked Jamey, I go, Jamey, has there ever been a time in your life where you've bought something and you knew you made the wrong choice, but you convinced yourself to love it? And then he said, actually, you know what's funny is I made the wrong choice on something I was dead set on. I was like, what was that? And he goes, HD DVD versus Blu-ray. I picked HD DVD. And I perked right up because I was like, dude, I picked HD DVD too. And then Jamey's like, I used to tell all my friends that HD DVD was the way to go and I would push it on everybody. I was like, dude, I did the same shit. We both were like HD DVD like chills basically. Do you remember like there was an HD DVD player for the Xbox? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Xbox 360. Yeah. It was like the beta max versus VHS. Yeah. It was the whole thing. And my friend said, hey, follow porn. Wherever porn goes is where it's going. Right. And I was a buddy of mine who said it because Blu-ray was using porn. And where did porn go? Blu-ray. Internet. Well, yeah, but back in the day when we were talking between Blu-ray or HD DVD, I was like, Ralph was like, Blu-ray is a stupid name. And I was like, it is just the best. It comes with your Xbox. You can hook it up. HD DVD is the way to go. And the reason we brought this up, ladies and gentlemen, is because do you think he thinks, maybe I'll throw Ralph under the bus for this, That P3 owners might have this love for a machine that is not wildly as accepted. Oh, like it's sort of underground. Yeah, but I don't mean it in a bad way, but that is true. I'm not saying that. It's got like cult-like status, and my pin side little research I did would totally say that that's accurate because the people would come out of the woodwork and be like, you don't understand. And then the person would fight back and go, but I played it like five times and I didn't like it. He's like, you have to play it 30 times. And he's like, and he made a good point. The guy on Pinside was like, yeah, but as a buyer, you only have that one chance to hook me. And so his defense was like, you can't hook me on ball one or even like my first game. So I'm out. But that's probably a lot of people, right? Like it feels too foreign to them. And then they never reach over the chasm or the hump to go, oh, I love it, actually. I get what you're saying. That's the problem. If it was amazing from the beginning and it wasn't so foreign, I think some people are going to accept it and try to learn to love it and some are not. Wasn't it Ric Flair that's like, learn to love it. If you don't like it, learn to love it. That should be the tagline for P3. Dude, if Jerry out. Can we get with Mason and do a commercial like that with P3? That's the thing. I'm never getting invited back. We'll do it. Gary is a gentleman. He's really a wonderful person. Are we shitting on them? I'm not shitting. Are we shitting? No. You're just saying that it's not for everybody and some people die on the P3 Hill. If you talk to a P3 owner, they sure love it. And you've convinced me. Jame's convinced me. But I don't understand. Like, why is Enzo pushing P3 so hard in the chat? Is he working with them? No. He just loves it. Oh, okay. Yeah, Jerry's great. I've known Jerry for years. He's great. Enzo, I don't want you to think we're just chit-chatting. We're just pushing. Yeah, go buy P3s all you want. But Jame is convinced, though, because he knows I'm a tech guy. You know that, too. Kale, but he's convinced though if I had one I would definitely for a period of time I would probably like it. Not a period of time. I think they would take you 30 plays. I think they're right about 30 plays though. You would sell it in a week. No way. I'd be willing to actually. I'm still crazy that I would be willing to actually try this experiment. Like I will buy one with my own money and see if I end up doing that. Let's do it. But can you sell them for – does anybody know do they resell okay? Because I don't want to get like totally hosed. Here's the thing. Buy the new release. All right? Okay. Whatever it is, Jamey knows. We don't know. Buy one of them. We think it's two. I don't know. Buy one of them. And then put it at the back so you can make some money off of it. Oh boy. And then there you go. Oh, okay. Actually, that's a good strategy. I like that because I can play it for a little while and then give it to you and then see what happens. Yeah. All right. Let's move on. I don't feel like Rachel would want to do that. I feel like she would. No, she wouldn't want to do that. Ozzy said, then sell it to me. And Wolf and O said, don't do it. Ozzy, would you buy it? I think you would love the P3. I don't feel correct. I think you would like the P3. I really do. I want to try it as an experiment. It would be a great video series. I bought a P3. It would crush. It would be a good series. It really would be. But I have to buy it because I can't have someone give it to me or loan it to me because then I'm tainted. It has to be. I have to buy it. Right. This is. That's a great video series. Wow. All right. I might do it. Isn't Flip N Out Pinball now a... They are. And they sponsor you, and they are a distributor. Yeah, but it can't be a sponsored deal. It has to be, I gotta do it independent. Yeah. Okay. Is this gonna happen? I don't think so. I'll do it. Dude, I'll do it. I've done wicked crazy stuff. Ask Mason. I do the dumbest things for videos. I would do it. Let's make this happen. I think you're gonna fall in love with it. I think you're gonna play Dungeon Door Defender. You're gonna You're going to love it. You're going to play the newest release. Jason said he does the dumbest shit. That's awesome. Hey, Robert, how are you? Are you in the back? Yes, it is unbelievable. I was up at four in the morning. I flew to Irving, Texas. I'm shot. Irving, Texas. I'm shot. So what are you in the back? But there's always room for the three busketeers. Thank you, sir. Very, very much. He's in the tub, ladies and gentlemen. It's a first, guys. You're great. Absolutely fantastic. This is amazing. Thank you, Rob Burke. Anything for my friends. Let me ask you a question. Bubbles or no bubbles? No bubbles. Okay, no bubbles. Let's keep the camera where we're at. I just want you to keep the camera where you're at. That's all. You got it. We already had a video that we showed earlier that was a little crazy. Rob Burke, when is the Pinball Expo coming? How excited are you? Well, I get excited when you guys show up, so I have to ask you three who's showing up. We're all three of us. All three of us. We're all three going to be there, Rob. If we're all three are there, then I'm very excited. Let me ask you a question here. We would like a seminar. Are the seminars all booked? Well, it's getting really close to it, but anything for Retro Ralph because the guy made a point. He left work two days without clocking in. He told his boss he had COVID so he could come down to the pastimes. So anything for him. I did love pastimes. I was at Pass Times for the grand opening. That was such a fun time. We have to visit again, actually. I need to make it a point to go visit again. Now, Jame, I don't recall, did you come to Expo last year? I sure did. I didn't get a VIP pass, but I did come. Was that your first time? This was my first time, yes. Last year was my first time. How about you, Cal? Oh, hell yeah. I go every year. Hey, Ralphie? Yeah I been going since the one back from COVID ever since then I think it was the Godzilla one I think So I cherish the ground you guys are walking on and I cherish your headphones that you guys are wearing especially the hot pink ones that Cal got on Yes, sir. He is awesome. Guys, you know. Uh-huh, go ahead. I was just going to say, you know, every year you do this show and you hope that people like it and put the good word out. And every year I just, you know, we keep getting more and more vendors. And this year's no exception. And what's strange this year is a lot of the vendors that normally get like a 20 by 20 booth are bumping up to like a 40 by 40. And it's really amazing to me the interest and the fact that these guys are really stepping up with their game. So it's going to be a very, very packed show this year. And again, with the seminars, we're shooting between 37 and 40 hours of seminars. It's just insane. And, you know, I take a lot of the seminars. I just like everyone to learn from them and to enjoy them. I keep finding more and more new speakers. So to answer your questions, Jammie, sure, you guys can speak. And would it be just you three guys only? Yeah, we would like to do a live roundtable. They're so excited. Big fans, big fans. We would like to do a live pinball roundtable in the seminar room and tell people how great a show it is and just announce it to the world. Yeah, how many people are you thinking? Well, just the three idiots, just us three. Oh, you know what would be cool, guys? Yeah. I think it would be cool to have one of the foreign guys be on the panel. You know, if there's any foreign podcasters, you guys know. Well, we could definitely bring other people on, but, you know, we're not real fond of guests on the show, Rob. All right. Rob Burke, so, you know. You like the limelight. Yeah, it's about the three of us, you know. That's why we've become the number one podcast out there. Well, what I could possibly do, I could arrange for the people that attended to have roses with them. They'll throw roses at your feet. You guys can walk on the stage. I like it. And, Rob, from the chat, we have Marco Ramirez. He said hello and to give him a call when you get out of the tub. I hear you, but I can't believe it. He's a hard guy to reach. Almost as hard to reach as Retro Ralph. Ralph is another guy who doesn't answer. He blocks all my calls. I do not. He's a hard – he hardly talks to me. These guys would say the same thing that I'm hard to get in touch with. He's very hard to get in touch with. Chat also had a real quick question for you here, Rob. We're only going to keep you another minute. Is Kaneda banned from Expo? Unless things work out, yes. Oh boy. Oh, here he is. He is in chat. So I just like, you know, gentlemen like yourselves that are true gentlemen certainly are more than welcome. Okay. But we've had some issues in the past and he knows about it more than anybody. So if we can resolve these issues, then, you know, the door is opening him. All right. Well, we'll work on our boy to resolve these issues and make sure he's at X. But listen, guys, I'm going to give you as long as you want. Ralph put me on retainer, so I'll give you a half hour at least. No, I think we're good. I think we're great. We got what we needed. We're also looking for passes. We would like some media passes for the three of us and Rachel Best, you know, so that we can really showcase. Rachel gave a seminar on that one year, didn't she? Of course. He's been in the Women in Pinball, I think, once or twice. So here's the news is anyone who gets a seminar gets a free pass to the show. It's all coming together. Ralph. Thank you. I've always wanted to meet Ralph's agent, but he never introduces me to her. Wait, what? Well, that is Kale's wife. Oh, okay. There you go. Yeah, I know. That was. Hey guys, the one thing that's kind of interesting to me and exciting is we've got a vendor coming in from Australia. That's a long haul. It's called Flipper Craft. But these guys cut some cabinets. But they're so proud of their works that they are bringing some samples to the show and they'll be coming. I'm working on Vector Pinball. Does anyone here know who Vector Pinball is? I've heard of it. Yeah, I'm not familiar, but... So they are also from Australia, but they produce a game, which is a very popular American TV show at one time called Lost in Space. Oh, there you go. So that's the team of their pinball machine, and I'm trying my darn to get them to come. So, you know, that's the one thing I push so hard for to get out of the ordinary to come to the Expo. As you guys know, last year we had not only Hexa from France, but we had the fellow from Taydick with his Invaders homebrew game. Oh, yeah. It's really exciting to get these guys to come so, so far away. And only that, but I think they really enjoy it more than anyone does because they typically don't touch shoulders with the Americans like we all do here on this podcast right now. Well, God bless you, Rob Burke. Mark, thank you so much for coming on the show. This was the weirdest interview I've ever done, but I do love you. I can't believe it. You're ending it already. It's only been eight minutes. I know. It's been eight minutes of joy. Tell him that I have at least ten. No, I think we're good. I think we're good. God bless you. But what makes my day is at least one of you guys will ask me one question, and then we can hang up. Oh, my God. My question. Rouse, you first. I already asked if it was bubbles or no bubbles. No, we want legit questions. Okay, Rob, what is the most obscure and very difficult game that you have in your collection that you feel is so rare that you're not even sure if anybody else has one and you might be the only one with its possession? And, Ralph, it's the Surfing from Sega from Japan. So I'm working right now on buying a second Sega machine. They are extremely hard to come by, and believe me, they are not cheap. I don't know if it's because of their low production runs or if they just never leave Japanese soil, but they're very hard to find. They're very cool. Yeah, and Ralph, if you're not familiar with them, they're like a cross between Solid State and the EM. They're very cool. Okay. Did you have that at Pastimes, Rob? I did. I think we had an Expo last year, but it had these really weird slingshots. I mean, they are so strong and powerful. And the Sperm bumpers are also strong and powerful. So the Japanese do a great job. It's all like the German engineering, but the quality is just really, really great. Very cool. That was a great question. Ding, ding. Where's your bell? Ding, ding, ding for Rout. Does that work? Who's next? I got a good one. All right. How much money do you spend a month on pinball parts? Well, that's a great question. So we use Pinball Life. We use Marco and Planetary. So it's a mix of all of them. But that's a great question. I'd have to ask my staff about that. But it's amazing. My one text says to me all the time, he says, well, it doesn't matter what the manufacturer is. We 24-7 have problems with flippers. No matter who the manufacturer is, in new game, old games, EF games, the flippers are the first to give. So if somebody could create a one-of-a-kind flipper that is the cure-all, they'd be millionaires. Okay. I got one other question. If anybody wants to get somebody banned from Expo, how do they go through that? Do they give you a call? Is there a vote system or how does that work out? You know, let's face it. Everything is based on the person's personality, their behavior. I mean, if you're a gentleman and you act like a gentleman and allow everyone to have a good time there, there's no issues at all. So it's very, very odd. It's not even in my nature to even consider this, but it's caused so much animosity internally with some of the people that I've talked to that until we get it resolved. I mean, let's face it, Kinectus, he strives for sensationalism. He's like the National Enquirer of pinball. So, you know, that's just his MO. And I remember telling him a couple of years ago, I said, you know, maybe it's time to turn that switch off and, you know, just be a normal guy and just say good things about people so that they have good feedback on you. Yeah. You know, he was at Expo last year and he didn't cause any problems. Not that I'm aware of, but I'm told that he did. What did he do? Well, certain things we have to keep, you know, on the QT, but I'll tell you the Expo. How's that sound? Sounds good. I mean, let's face it, guys. You know, I don't have a good time doing this. It's just not my style. I want everyone to come there and have a good time, enjoy themselves, and leave with a good feeling and a good time. Yeah, but, you know, Rob, I don't have a question for you. I'll just end it at this. Please, Jamey. You're the best question giver of the room. I'm sure I am. But, you know, I'm just not keen on banning anybody, you know, so if you could. I'm not either. If you can rethink this, because one of the reasons that Ralph and I didn't do the Twippies last year was because someone was banned, and we just don't believe in that, right? Right. Whether we like someone or not, it's just not. I don't either. I mean, let's face it. If that person rubbed Rachel Ralph wrong, let's just say, for instance, and Ralph comes to me and says, I haven't done this, by the way, Ralph. I haven't come to you with anything. The audience needs to know I didn't come to you with anything. But I'm just saying, what if? You know, some people just never expect musicians to come up. I never did. I mean, it's not in my MO to even consider doing such a thing. Yeah. So it's not my nature to do it. Something must have brought it on. That's all I can tell you. Well, we'll talk about it more offline with you. God bless you for coming on here to the pinball round. I thank you guys for putting up with me in this very unique setting. I hope you're back with that. I hope you're doing great. God bless you, Rob. Thanks, guys. Thank you so much. Thanks, Rob. Appreciate it. We'll see you at Expo. We'll see you soon. We'll see you soon, buddy. Well, tell Jamie I'm an okay guy. Hello. I think you are an okay guy. He's a good guy. He's very strange. God bless you, Rob. Thank you. It's hard to do with your wife. When she's right, she's right. And when she's wrong, she's right. That's right. That's good advice. You guys, though. All right. Thanks, Rob. All the best. All right, Rob. Thanks, Rob. Take care. Bye-bye. Don't prune up. There you go. Take care. Take care, buddy. Bye-bye. I don't know how to get him off, so she doesn't press this button. No, Jammie, you just... That was making me really nervous because the phone was tilting, and I was like, oh, no, it's going to happen. What? It just happened. Rob would have turned into Al over his turn. Wow. Have we ever done a... Has there ever been a pinball bathtub interview? This is a first for sure. I saw what happened to what Greg Bone was doing today, and I thought that was ridiculous, but we upped it up, didn't we? We took this to another level. Yeah, we went from shower to bathtub all in one day. What's going on in the pinball world? I thought Greg Bone messaged me. Oh, yeah? What did he say? So it must have been from the shower. No, he really did. He like out of the blue. He was like, hey, Kale, this is Greg Bone. What? Jamie, you don't believe me? I swear. I swear to God. I swear for God. I can't wait to go back and watch this to see the look on our faces. I don't know what's happened. I mean, what just happened? But you know what? This is going to get some views. I mean, this is the first bathtub pinball interview. There has to be. There's no way this ever been fun. What the fuck? Can you even believe me? I actually don't even believe that this is happening. Like, honestly, are we human and are we real and are we really here right now? We're definitely in a simulation. This is the best thing going on in pinball right now. Nobody cares who's doing Dungeon Caller Carl. It's like right now, this is where it is. We're living in the moment. This is the fucking coolest thing. We should do. We want to punch it being a bathtub for the next episode. I don't even believe that what just happened was real. I don't. Okay. I hope that I can be that. See, I could never do that. But, man, that takes some... Yeah. But guess what? We got what we wanted, boys. Did we get a media event? Did we get a seminar room? I think we did. We got passes for all of us and Rachel. Yeah, we got to get Rachel. We're going to be live on stage, right? Yeah. This is amazing. We pulled it off, guys. We did it. We got together. We have the tools. We have the talent. We need to get someone to actually put a bathtub on the stage when we're at Expo. That's amazing. I don't know. Oh, my God. Sterling. I don't know what happened there. Sterling. He's in chat. I don't know what happened there, but it was beautiful. He said the only way to secure a guest spot on the roundtable is bathtub interviews. Hey, you already you saw it here first. You saw. I hope you guys really there was someone as immediately when that came on and said, this is a I. I was like, no, well, this is a thousand percent not a they didn't say this is a I. They said this is Al. Oh, shoot. That's awesome. Oh, my gosh. What is going on? We should end this. What is going on? I got some good topics. All right. Go ahead. Oh, and we have some juicy stuff. Nobody go anywhere. Stern, this isn't the juicy stuff. We have some more stuff in the Midnight Plunger coming up. Ladies and gentlemen, don't go anywhere. Uh, Stern hires Ryan Tanner Petsch. Are you guys familiar with Ryan Tanner? I'm not. So I wasn't, but Joe Cervino got, he, he, he like literally lost his fricking mind when that came out. He was like, dude, you don't understand how big of a deal this is. And then he sent me like the videos of his games and stuff. And that one game that he had was crazy. It was like the multi-levels and the trash land. Yeah. I was like, holy shit. That looked so cool. Cool, and it looked like it actually all worked. It wasn't like one of those weird designs that didn't work. It was working. I was like, that is freaking insane. He made some of the most interesting and creative pinball machines that exist on planet Earth. And how is that going to translate into an actual Stern release? I don't know, but I'm here for it. Yeah, me too. After seeing some of that stuff, I was like, oh, man, this is going to be cool. So I'm stoked. But Joe was losing his mind on like he said, you don't understand, Ralph. You don't understand. This is big. So, yeah, that's cool. So as designers, they have obviously Keith Elwin, Brian Eddy, John Borg, Brian Eddy. I just have Brian Eddy. Elliot Elliot Eismin. Yep. And now Ryan Tanner. Yeah. Is that it? Yeah. I don't think you missed it. Well, Jack's not designing anymore. Well, we don't know what Jack's doing. Yeah, I think he's got to be. I don't know. I just, I can't get, I just, he was at, he was, he was at San Diego Comic-Con. Yeah. This is very cool. He was doing like an IRL stream. Yeah. Well, and he did the thing. Remember how we were saying on one of the podcasts, he should be like, hey, I'm inviting you along. I'm Jack Danger. You love me, you know? And he kind of did that in the San Diego Comic-Con video. Oh, you forgot Gomez, Jame. Oh, Gomez, yeah. Occasionally, yes. San Diego Comic-Con, you know, our girl Erica from Erica's Pinball Journey is there with Aaron from Learning to Flip. Oh, cool. So they sent me a picture of Erica. Speaking of Gomez, I think his next game was supposed to ship at the end of this month. Do you think Gomez would ever do an interview from the bathtub? No. I could talk him into it. There's no way he would. That's the only way you get on the roundtable. Who else? All right. Do you think there's anyone else in the circle of pinball people that you'd want, that we would want to interview, that would consider doing it from a bathtub? I think it would do it. Yeah, he would totally do it. Totally do it. Well, that's an obvious one. Yeah, that's why I threw the obvious one out right away. I think Kerry Hardy would. Kerry would. We'll get Kerry. We'll get Kerry, but it has to be in the bathtub. Oh, Joe. Joe Cheravino. Oh, Joe might, actually. He might. We have to do it. Okay, okay, next. I was coughing. This is a really good one. This one came from the Midnight Plunger. These are hot off the press it sounds like because there's no more on our list. So this is just in. Oh, actually, before we do that, what is the Jengis who? That's nothing. Never mind. Not touching that. Man, I love – okay. I love Jengis. I want to touch on this before we get to the grand finale. Suzo Hap. Are they going out of business? Any truth to this rumor? So I did, and of course I don't have it up on my screen, I did some digging on that. I cannot confirm that. Like there's been talks and comments, but nothing's confirmed. So like there's no, I mean, at least officially, like there's no bankruptcy filing. There's no, you know, report that would say they're having financial struggles. But the only thing I can point to is there has been like supplier difficulty with availability. They've had some restructuring at SuzoHap, some shortages of parts, but I can't get any confirmation that the company itself is going out of business. Well, this is what I heard. They're shutting down the arcade division. I don't know what else they do. Yeah, I thought of SuzoHap as only doing the Coindors and CoinMex and that kind of stuff. Or not CoinMex, but the Coindors. I don't know. Yeah, I saw the chats bringing up Todd Tucky. Like Todd Tucky did a post on some arcade message board, and he was on the phone with them, I guess ordering parts or something, and they got cut off. And the rep called him back on the cell phone and said, well, they just cut off our phones. But I've heard for months and months that they were shutting down. I've heard the arcade and pinball stuff. Do they do anything other than that? Not that I know of. Do they sell just like general electronics? I didn't think so because I've only ordered things from them that were arcade. Like when I was doing arcade restorations, I would order tons of stuff from them. Like if I was missing a coin door, a lot of it, but they still carried some of the older style coin doors, the newer ones. So that's what I would be buying from them usually. Stringer says they do vending stuff. Yeah, so I heard this for like months and months and months because like some of the reps were calling some of my buddies saying, Hey, you need to buy this stuff up because, you know, this is it. And also like a lot of a lot of people that like big companies that buy stuff on credit with them were getting emails saying, you know, you need to pay up because there's going to be some changes. Yeah. So something's going on. I think there and there's a lot of parts you can't like they're out of stock and they're not they're not replenishing them now. I think this is it. This is the end of an era. Do you think they do, you know, maybe they'll keep like the slot machine stuff? Because I think they do that. So maybe they'll keep like that stuff? I don't know. Because I used to buy like joysticks and steering wheels and freaking like steering wheels for arcade games, track balls, like all that stuff. So if they stopped doing that, because they did sell like the higher end stuff for commercial, I wonder where that, and some of it was stuff they made too. So I don't know what that means exactly. That might be a big deal. And this is really telling. I mean, you know, we don't have numbers, but we've heard about declining sales for pinball machines. These guys are getting out of the business. I mean, we might be in for an interesting time in the pinball and arcade world. Yeah, no, for sure. Did we just get a super shot? Yeah, but it was dumb. Okay. No worries. What do we, so will you have one more thing? Yeah, let's get one more thing. Well, I said we have to go for another 40 minutes. No, I can't. No, I can't either. I can't. I got to work tomorrow. I have to pee again, and I got to work. It's only 7.23. Your time. It's 9.23. Mine. Weird. Why would you live there? It's all humid and shit there. I do want to move to Arizona. I don't know. I would, actually. I would love to do it live with you guys in the same place. Oh, my gosh. That's bananas when we do that. Well, we're going to do it at Expo. I know. That was the success, even though he was in a bathtub. Yeah, success. Dude, I don't see how that could have gone any better. That was gold, dude. Was Rachel watching this? Yeah. She was in the chat. Okay, it was going so fast when that was happening that I couldn't keep up. Please let me know what she thinks. Are you going to clip it? You got to clip it, man. I think I have to clip it. You have to do a clip. I have to clip it. With all of us in there. And put that through. Okay, I guess the last thing, Midnight Plunger. Okay. We got a message from the Midnight Plunger, didn't we, Jamie? We did, and I need a Midnight Plunger. Glenn Glenn Waechter, if you can give us a Midnight Plunger audio and I'll just like put it in, you know, like that, you know, and it would just be Midnight Plunger, here it comes and boom. You know somebody, whoever that was that made the stuff for the logo for T-shirts and stuff for the Roundtable podcast? Yeah, yeah. You want to know what was sell? The Midnight Plunger shirts. Yeah, actually, good call. That would sell. And Mason, get on that. Logo for Midnight Plunger if you're still here. Here's the thing that Kaneda just sent us. Can you see it? I can't see it. You've got Rob Berg in the phone. Oh my gosh, dude. Weekend at Bernie. It's pretty good. It's pretty good, actually. If you see Rob. What the hell is happening? All right, back to Midnight Plunger. You want to hear some stuff? Yeah. He wants you to rotate it. This is really interesting. So, you know, Stern, they always have something that kind of like disrupts the release of the game, right? So with Godzilla, the Godzilla was too green. He was the wrong color, right? Yeah, there's always one thing. Yeah. Deadpool. The guy was like messing around with little kids. Remember that one? Well, I wasn't necessarily in it at that time, but yeah. You don't know about that? I didn't know about that. Okay, well anyway, that was a major deal. Okay, next day. You guys really not Not really, no. Who? Chad, when did you guys get into pinball? 2019? 2018? Yeah, but that game came out in like 2019, didn't it? I wasn't full on in until 2020-ish time. Okay, so then you got Jaws didn't eat the ball. Which I think that one's so dumb. I never gave a rat's ass about that. You got, what else happened? King Kong, maybe the art. Yeah, okay. Oh, and then Gun Gate with John Rick. Yep, Gun Gate. Then Transformers. Optimus Prime. Optimus Gate, yep. There's already one with Ozzy. Really? I don't know. There's already one. And we know it? We know what it is? Well, the plan is... Oh, no. They're going to have call-outs in this game. No, no, no. I think I know where you're going with this. No, don't even do... No. I think I know. Would that be controversial? Well, if I think it's what I think it is, I just watched a freaking commercial with Chuck Norris in it and he's dead and his whole family. It's for like the chicken place. I don't know that I'm cool with that. Are you telling me? Please don't tell me that you use AI Ozzy. No, dude. No. Wow. I don't know. I don't know how I feel about that. I don't know how I feel about that either. A.I. Ozzy? I mean, here's the problem is they probably could do it in a way that sounds probably like him, but I mean, his family would have to approve that, right? You can't just do that. They're totally down with it. I mean, this is the same family that drug him out there half dead on a stage, you know. Yeah. I don't know that I'm cool with that. Yeah. Are you cool with it, Kale? A.I. Ozzy? Man, I'm a huge Aussie fan. I am too. And it's sort of like, I get it. You know, it's rough, man. Because like, especially now, AI is so controversial. But man, would it sound cool? They can make it the same with all the cool pinball stuff. Yeah, I mean, here's the thing. Like, I don't know. I mean, what I think is cool probably because it would probably be done. Yeah, I mean. Let's do a position. Let's do a petition. Let's petition Stern to let our Ozzy do the call-outs. Let Ozzy do the Ozzy call-outs? Yeah. Ozzy Vett? Oh, man. I don't know. This is controversial, Kale. I don't know how I feel about it. I don't know how I feel either. Because you're right, though, Kale, like being able to take someone and make them say anything and have it actually sound like them is kind of cool because you could have them say some pretty funny things probably. But at the same time, I'm like, I don't know. But I mean, it's all about the family and what they'll allow. Like Chuck Norris's family clearly wants them to do chicken ads for what's it? What is that company? Canes, Raising Canes. It's really not all about what the family wants. It's about what the customer wants because this is all about selling games. Yes. Yeah. And but so you have to think about it this way. What if with AI, we have AI now. We could do you could do a whole Beatles album, a new Beatles album without using any of the original Beatles members. Of course, some aren't here anymore. Would you buy that album? And, you know, that's the question. Is it is it real? No, see, music, it gets into a whole different thing. Like, no. But isn't that the same as any – this is entertainment. Yeah. But I just feel like with music it's like that soul thing that – I don't know. I just feel like it'd be so hard to – like a pinball callout, whatever. It's a pinball callout. It's not like – but like music comes from a place of experiences. I don't know. I just feel like that's a tough one to – like I don't think it would – even though the voices might sound – the vocals might sound the same, I don't think it'd have that same feeling if AI made it. I don't think. But who knows? Maybe in 10 years it's so freaking advanced that we wouldn't even know the difference. But I don't know. Well, probably less than 10 years, but probably three, two. Yeah, I mean, I mean, Mason did a thing. Mason tested this thing where he took my we had a screwed up voiceover. I ended up recording it with my real voice because I didn't like the way it came out. It was like two words. I needed two words. And I was like, shit, because it was all the edit was all timed. I was like, how are we going to do this? So he he threw it into this AI thing and it did sound like me, but I just I didn't do it. I didn't use it. I ended up just it was just two words I had to re-record and we were able to cut it together and make it sound normal. But, you know, sometimes you have to cut something that's audio. It can sound really awkward if you if you don't have that same like tone when you record it. But I was amazed. It sounded very much like me. So. Yeah. And Wolf is saying AI has taken the life out of most things. Oh, that's a good surge here with the Super Chat. Thank you so much for the $1.99. Kale, people hate AI music on our podcast, LOL. They do, and they've been saying that. But, Ralf, you keep sending us screen grabs, and I'm glad you do, that ever since ChatGPT had that update where it makes, like, good-looking flyers. But now everybody's flyers look at that same format. I talked with Mason about it. It's like all these thumbnails now are looking the same because it uses a lot of the same font style and it places things in the same place. Same layout. It takes liberties. A lot of people leave it, but it takes liberties on your face. Like it will change your face. It could make you younger. It could make you slightly older. And then there are people that are actually taking like people that are overweight and making themselves look completely different on their thumbnail. I think that's kind of weird. But yeah, it's just it's just weird. I don't know. I appreciate and I will use till till whatever, till I stop doing this Mason for thumbnails, because I know he's creating it himself from scratch based on an idea. And I love that. And that's what I really love. And I've been sharing some of Mason's stuff. Go follow his social media because he's this is I love behind the scenes. So cool, his behind-the-scenes stuff. I've told you guys over and over again, Mason is an After Effects wizard, and After Effects is not easy. No. And he takes you through his whole thought process. You can see what's going on. So, so cool. He just did one on your banner, Jamey. Did you see it? Yeah, it was fantastic. Yeah, he did one on creating your banner. But, yeah, no, I love that, too, when he does those. I know it's not easy for him to go and do that because it's like making his work take even longer Because he's explaining it as he's doing it. But, yeah, they're pretty cool. Yeah, the one he just did for me was really wicked cool. Yeah. We had – I'll save it for another time. It's fine. It'll go down. All right. I lost my voice. I was joking. Jamie's legit falling asleep. No, I drank water and went down the wrong pipe. It was expired. And I think it's time. But that was some good info from the Midnight Plunger. God bless him and keep it coming, Midnight. We love you, and we're going to get you your own intro song and everything. You've just been phenomenal for the roundtable. And, Gail, thank you so much. We appreciate it. This was a pretty wild episode, if you think about it. Hold on. We have one more thing. Okay. We do? Ralph will love this. Okay. Pokemon. And where's the code? Where's the achievements? I don't know. Those are never coming. It's so crazy. Where, yeah, where's the, this is something very, very interesting. The Midnight Plunger said they're never coming. What? No way. Hard stop. Never coming. Yeah. Oh, man. And they said there was even like some chat about how are we going to deal with this? Are the users going to sue us? You know, because Tanya did that bonehead move where he's like showing everybody, look what's coming, look what's coming. And they'd never had approvals to like do that stuff. So it's kind of like a bait and switch kind of thing. I don't know. Uh-oh. Well, here's the thing. Dude, that sucks. Because, I mean, that's kind of... But what about the other stuff? Because I saw it. He showed it to us at Media Day. It was cool. Like, the Pokedex... What other stuff? Yeah, they can't do that. Like, if all that stuff can't happen, that was such a cool... I mean, that got messaged out as, like, that's going to come, you know? So, eek, dude. They need more code in it, though. Like, even now, I just played it the other day in a tournament. They need more code. Yeah. It's something. I'll go over the – I'll get over the lack of achievements if I can get some code, you know? Yeah. Oh, that sucks. Oh, Midnight. Hope you're wrong here. You're bad. You're doing very well. Isn't he, like, almost 100% accurate, the Midnight Plunger? It's pretty close. Yeah. I know. Yeah. Ugh. All right. Well, you heard a lot of things. I was here first. One, you saw a video of a reality show that Stern wanted to put together, which I thought was absolutely hilarious. Thank you, Midnight Plunger. You got to see Rob Burke in the bath, but he did give us a seminar, so that was pretty great. And you got to hear a lot of different things from the plunger and from these two idiots and myself. So I think it's time to wrap it up. Thank you guys so much. Two hours. Jamie, hold on. We have a super chat. We have a couple of them. Actually, we found out Carrie Hardy, two dollars. Mason is also a good kisser. Now, you know. Wow. OK. Wow. That's scary. Wow. Carrie. Thank you for joining, Carrie. We appreciate it. Now, you remember, if you guys keep coming with the super chats, Jamie has to stay up. There we go. Okay, what's the other super chat? Instead of barrel, or this is a $5 super chat from Ken Swift, 5. Instead of the barrels reserve crews, can we get the electric bat puff and plunge, smoke a bowl with kale, and then play pinball? Puff and plunge, is that in the future, or? Every Tuesday night an electric bat. Okay, that's very true. All right, so yeah. Yeah. All right. And then we got one $10 super chat from Mythos Pinball. Thank you. Kale, we need another scoop. Well, it's not Kale's scoop. It's the Midnight Plungers. Yeah. Don't get them confused. Kale's just giving you the info through the Midnight Plungers. You want one more? You want another scoop? Yeah. I want one more. And then also, I just want a quick shout out to Vic VP, our buddy back in over in New Jersey. He's in the chat. Mason, Wolfineau's, Serge from Pin Pals is there. Thank you everybody for joining. Appreciate you guys. Very much. And thank you to both of you. You guys carried this live very, very well. Thank you. Oh, and hold on. Oh, and the Pinball Studio. Loves Sterling. I had to give a shout out to Sterling. That young lad. I was listening to Sterling today at the gym. He dropped a new episode. I haven't listened yet. I'm going to try to listen. I don't know where to work tomorrow. RatFink13, $5 Super Chat. Thank you. He said, here's for another hour. I mean, we are wrapping up. No, RatFink13 just said you've got to go for another hour. $5 Super Chat. Oh, I can't go another hour. I'm kidding. We've got to watch Big Brother. Oh, wait. We've got another scoop, and then Jame's got to go. Let me find one. I've got to watch Big Brother. Big Brother. I've got to find out who got voted off. Do you DVR that shit? Yeah, I DVR. Good, good, good, good. But I want to know tonight because I don't want to read any spoilers. I T-vote it. I'm mad, brah, says need pinball, need the fallout details. The Lancer said Liam is an excuse of all time. I know, John, but I like it. Hey, I don't know anything about it. Well, I gave the fallout details. Oh, that's right. We did. We did good fallout. Last episode. All right, before we go. So, Spooky Pinball. They licensed music from Def Leppard and Slipknot. All right. So, we'll see you guys later. All right. No, in all seriousness, you did give that before. I know, but that was a little something. That's a little even more. People might not know. All right. God bless everyone. Thank you for joining us on this live. We're going to do this, I don't know, occasionally. We love this. This was so much fun. This was a debacle, but I completely appreciate it. It was absolutely hilarious. And the three of us are going to laugh about this for years and years to come. So thank you so, so much, everyone. We really appreciate it. Thanks, everybody. We are taking off. God bless you. Thank you, Chad. Thank you so much. We enjoyed it.
