spot for people to relax to escape to enjoy themselves hi I'm Adrian Whitman and I want to welcome you to our Slop Brewing Company story behind the name is I always wanted it to be music related ocelot it comes from a fish song so everything here is music themed classic rock psychedelic Rock a little bit of more rock and roll but all of our beers are song lyrics see here all of our tanks are named after my favorite front men this obviously is going to be Jimi Hendrix I will not tell you the rest of them because I will give you a free beer if you can get them all right so I got into Brewing as a home Brewer I fell in love with the science the engineering of beer at first I wanted to constantly rotate never make the same beer twice and we did that for a few years but if you really like the ones you made before so you bring it back we have regulars come in every day that ask can you make this again can you make this again I'm proud of everything we do from lagers to Stouts to ales everything as far as having pinball in our place Chris Chapman has been a friend since my son was born I've known Chris has had the hobby of pinball in arcade games for a long time back when he opened the brewery I immediately started hitting him up with the idea of putting some games in here because I collected pinball machines and arcade games he approached me and said hey I got an idea I have all these pinballs and I'll get more we probably started with about five or six machines so they had this room here in the brewery already and it was not being used my business partner Matt and I for the most part took games from our Collections and then picked up a couple others to move into here we tried to have a good mix of things that the Casual player can come up to and easily play and understand the rules things that are also challenging to the competitive players that come and play in our leagues in our tournaments but also you know we want some Rarity games at games that people will travel for we're up to about 17 or 18 machines here we run a league here and then we also run tournaments as well the brewery is pretty interesting I'd say there's people kind of from all walks of lives I think the music theme brings a lot of people together music and craft beer go together really well to me there's no better combination than a pint of beer and a game of pinball so I do like having a drink when I play competitively and I'd ask a lot I really love their Sunny Side so what I love about ocelot is the combination of a brewery and an arcade pinball setting I think that's the best combination they're constantly switching out their games they always have the new stuff we want to offer the latest and greatest titles almost no matter what they are fortunately now Stern is sending games out with The Insider connected kits already we've got the leaderboard up and running people seem excited about earning the achievements and soon we're going to start coming up with some prizes for the leaderboard as well I love it when it's displayed on the drop down I can follow my scores my achievements we've tried to create a fun vibe at ocelot Brewing I think Adrian the owner has done a really good job on the brewery side of things the music themes and the you know integrated into the cans and the artwork you know we try to extend that into what we're doing here the pin it to yourself actually hear the games which is a big part of pinball for me we're a place where you come in here and you walk through that door and you're just like everybody else and you can escape Games music beer people let's that's what I wanted to do yeah
