What up, MPT3K here I'm going to do some comparisons Now the Zen Pinball FX3 pack just came out This past Halloween Featuring Monster Bash And Creature from the Black Lagoon. Now I have Monster Bash and Creature from the Black Lagoon on Visual Pinball. Visual Pinball X. I like them. They both run really well. Does Pinball FX version of Monster Bash and Creature from the Black Lagoon play better? Or which do I prefer? Now, I played them a little bit at Overway Free Gold Watch in the real room. So, I'm going to do some comparisons. And that's about it. I'm just going to do a little bit of comparison work here today. See which one I like. Now, just so you know, I'm running today, right now, I'm running in my V-Cab, my V-Pin. the giant full-size scale table is the only way I like to play virtual pinball. So I usually don't pull out an iPad and play that way, or, you know, on an iPhone. I mean, if you have that, great, that's cool. But I built this big thing so I could play this way. I'm just seeing if my channel got started. I don't see my recording started. Although I think I am live. Yeah, I'm very much live. Alright. Trying to bring up my Twitch dashboard. How's everybody doing, by the way? I gave in to the peer pressure. I have a little music in the background, so I'm playing some 80s. Hopefully I don't get a copyright strike anywhere, but I might. So I don't care. It's all good. Well, it doesn't seem to want to pull up my Twitch dashboard. I'll just drink some boba tea and we'll get started. It's tea with no boba in it. Alright, what should we start with? what should we start with it never used to take this long to bring up my dashboard but for some reason it's taking forever so whatever whatever whatever app see if it shows up someday all right let's start with pinball effects so recently played is creature from the black lagoon and monster bash here's monster bash oh i forgot to forgot to record a play field for monster bash let's start with some monster bash and let's play classic so there are different versions of in if you're in pinball effects 3 there are different versions of the table. There's the video game-y version, which has very easy physics. Basically the physics are kind of like you can play for a really long time. I don't know how they made the physics easier, but I guess there are fewer spots on the flippers that you can hit, or the granularity or whatever. I don't know. I don't know how they made it work. We're not going to use that. We're not going to use the classic, which is Zen Pinball's real arcade physics. I'm going to turn that down just a little bit. Wow, this is amazing. I can't see my own stream. I don't know what's going on. But I am streaming. If I bring up Twitch back here, I should be able to see myself streaming. That's me. Alright. Which is like Frankenstein comes alive And the Wolfman and the Bride And these spiders right here Are creepy as They're just creepy Alright let's play Whoa that bounces a lot So we have a version We have the Chicago Gaming Company's Version of this A free go watch And the ball constantly bounces In the lanes up there so you can almost start mummy. The ball will stay up there forever. Wow, that sucked. Okay. Also, I have direct screen capture for you guys of the DMD. And, uh, you can turn off all this fancy stuff on Pinball Packs 3, like the score showing up for every switch hit. Um, I'm gonna keep it on for right now because that's one of the things that's kind of cool. And what's cool is you can actually you know, you don't get this you don't get those you don't get that feedback on a real machine to see how much the pop bumpers are worth right how much are the pop bumpers worth it's like 105 i got 5 000 just for hitting a scoop so that's pretty neat that stuff there oh oh see if i can do my basic flipper tricks okay up the middle nope up the middle Oh, they're fighting. It doesn't know what my plunger is. and it doesn't know what my feedback table feedback is so i'm forced to hit so i'm forced to i have two magna save buttons on the side for regular pinball one over here one over here i turn those magna saves into nudge left and nudge right see that one button gives a violent nudge I don't generally nudge left and right when I play real pinball I nudge forward so I should change one of these to nudge forward anyway it's a slight drawback of pinball FX3 um it would be great if 2 million for hitting that scoop jeez it'd be great if they allowed input from the virtual pinball virtual pin cab community to get access to more of the features of virtual pinball ok here's what I should do I should start drac and then start Frankenstein. And then start Mummy. If I start Drac, I start Mummy and Drac. Let me see something. Well, Bride is ready. Let's see. I can start Wolfman. Let's see if I can get Lucky here. Okay. I guess that's one good thing about pinball effects, is it feels like you can't you're not guaranteed so they put a level of randomness in it where you're not guaranteed because I would say in visual pinball I could pretty much guarantee where that scoop is going to shoot every time. It's going to be kind of the same place every time. Apparently visual pinball effects doesn't do that. Oh, it just bounces fast as hell. Alright. I'm going to try again. Okay, I'm digging this. Also, if you notice, they put the instruments down at the bottom. But you've got to do this every time. You've got to wait for them to send your scores in. 24 million. Alright. All in all, I'm really impressed with Pinball FX 3. I don't know if I'm ready to move over to it. What am I saying? I've got like 40 Pinball FX 3 tables. Move over to it.
