## Transcript

Alright guys, let's get right to it. So, those of you that have been watching the channel for a while know how much I love the Golden Tee series. I've actually done arcade 1-Up Golden Tee mods with earlier versions, modern versions. I love Golden Tee, and I actually really love a lot of the games that Incredible Technologies puts out there. So today, there was a leak. Something that went out that was a new Incredible Technologies Golden Tee product, and then it was pulled right away. And I was like, oh my gosh, what's up with this? so I screenshotted this stuff really quick so I got it and I want to show one person in particular so my buddy Rexer Show who I met for the first time at CES this past year he loves Golden T2 so he is going to be so jazzed so we're going to call up on the phone he has no clue I'm doing this and I want to get his take on the product so I didn't tell him at all what it was because I want to get his authentic reaction so let's call him up and see what he thinks about this and then we'll do some final thoughts all right guys so i brought on rexer show the reason why i brought him on is because he's the only one in the world that i know that's as hardcore a fan of golden tea as i am so that's right i love my gold yeah i didn't tell you what was happening but there was a leak today it was something that was posted it was golden tea related by incredible technologies uh and then it was taken away okay this is no arcade one-up leak thing with golden no no no this is not okay i no i get this straight because i don't know anything going in here yeah yeah so i'll so i'm gonna put it up on the screen real quick so basically what we're looking at oh yeah it's a yeah it's a tabletop so it's a tabletop golden tea it's called the golden tea go and supposedly it's got i know this looks like maybe it could be an artist picture or something like that but it supposedly has a full-size hap trackball it's running the later version edition of golden tea we think and um it's supposed to be home edition i can buy this yeah yeah that's what it's supposed to be so here's the front of it and you can see i mean it's got the same layout and everything except the weird thing is so it it has a screen on it it has a 15 inch high definition screen on it so it's something you can kind of like you pick up like when your buddies are over and put it on a table with a couple drinks and play this is pretty sweet man i can i can i can definitely see myself having a home edition of this and pulling it out. Yeah. So as I dug in a little deeper, I saw it's got like these, you know, it's got kind of cool handles on the side to pick it up. But then what kind of struck my eye a little bit more is as I kind of went in here and looked at it. Now, keep in mind, these pictures are no longer available. It says the listing has ended in the cellar because the items are no longer available I don know But I was still able to access it kind of in a backdoor way So I see that it has an Ethernet port So it has HDMI out So you could put it on a table and have like a 42 50 whatever TV where you plug it in if you really want to have more of that bar type So I thought that was pretty neat. Now, it doesn't say exactly like as you scroll down, you know, the seller is Game Room. Go back up. It had a price there. Go back up. Oh, yeah. We skipped over that. skipping over the price i oh man yeah it's expensive it's 2200 bucks but you know that those full-size golden t2020s they run over four thousand dollars sometimes so it's like half the cost of that basically it's half the cost and if you had a pedestal with a tv monitor or something then you have a full size basically yeah yeah so so pretty cool now i don't know when or you know when this is going to go back live or go for sale. And I also don't even know why they pulled it down. But here are the specs that they have here available. So it looks like the thing is going to be about 28 inches wide. So that's a pretty sizable unit, right? It's going to be pretty big. Well, the control panel on a real one is, I think that's the real length of a control panel. Oh, is it? Yeah, I think 28 inches wide is. I mean, that's what most arcades are, is 28 inches wide. And I don't know about Golden Teague. I can't remember specifically. but 28 inches is a normal width of of most cabinets so this thing could be full size with a full-size trackball then that's what they that's what it's i mean yes that's what it says so um the weight is 35 pounds which seems kind of light though uh i don't know it seems a little light for what it is but um it does say lightweight sturdy all-in-one cabinet so maybe they're using like some different materials uh to make the cabinet maybe not as heavy uh it says you know full-size controls as I said before but the HDMI out really got me because it would save someone a lot of money to make it not only portable but I mean I can see myself like we go up to uh you know the wintertime sometimes we'll go you know somewhere with friends or whatever and imagine taking it with you would be kind of cool um you know on a trip or vacation or whatever yeah no doubt portable arcade you basically have a portable golden tee with you yeah I mean 35 pounds in this and you just take it with you now go back to the side view did you show the side view again okay and that was the power supply and what did what board is in here I mean we don't know you don't know what what's in there well well when you scroll down it says over 60 18 whole courses to choose from but it doesn't say but that's a lot of courses so I'm thinking it's probably you know they wouldn put this out for two grand and not have it be modern so my guess it what some of something more new newer or based on 2020 or something like that Yeah more like a Golden Tee 2020 yeah Because 2014 live doesn even have that many courses So it's got to be one of the newer versions, 2018, 2009, maybe even newer than that or some new version customized for this unit, which is incredible. 60 courses is a lot. Yeah. Now the one thing I didn't notice from before, and maybe this is how they can say it's lightweight, it might only have a wood top and a metal bottom because it says rugged metal construction with venting. So maybe that whole bottom piece is metal and just the top is wood. Because I can't imagine the top being all metal too, although I guess it could be. Right, but it looks like it's at least about a half inch wood there for the control panel. What's with the game room guys? Go back down. What is with game room guys here? Why are they... What do you mean? How do they sell Golden Teeth? I don't know. I don't know. I guess because they're a reseller of these Golden Tee systems, I guess this is one they're going to be selling. But I don't know why they prematurely put it up and took it down. So I don't know. I have no idea when this is going to be released, but it is a cool concept. I'm pretty excited about it. Outside of that, the only other thing that I saw that was intriguing to me, it doesn't say anything about online play, but it does appear that it has that Ethernet port there that you can see to the right of the power supply, right by the handle. there's what looks like a yeah it looks like maybe that's a usb or or hdmi because it does have hdmi uh so i don't know one of those looks like either usb and and one's an hdmi and then the other one's an ethernet so if you can do online play with this too and you can get because you can get that subscription from incredible that's actually really really cool because to be able to play online with someone because the recent home home versions have you know online play you can if you had your own 2020 you could do online so that would be that would be awesome to do that uh online But, I mean, I'm tempted to call game room guys because I've had many conversations with those guys now. You're going to get me in trouble, man. You're going to get me in trouble. Seriously, I call them all the time because I'm always buying arcade parts from them and stuff like that. And so I might have to give them a call and say, hey, my buddy Retro Ralph said you were selling golden. Yeah, don't say that. Don't say my buddy. I mean, I'm okay with you telling them they were buddies, but I don't want you to say that I exposed anything I'm not supposed to. Well, they blew it if they got it on here. I don't know. Well, it doesn't look like they have it on the main site. That's the thing. They have just the normal ones you'd see. Like this is the one, you know, that's a power putt. Let's see if we could find a Golden Tee Live so we can kind of compare it. So this is Incredible Technologies Golden Tee 2020 game without monitor stand. So if you trying to compare price we talking talking 20 2200 it was 2199 right versus 4700 so there a considerable difference but this is the exact pedestal John Youssi in like a buffalo wild wings or wherever you go out uh and stuff like that so so yeah assuming assuming the graphics and stuff are probably similar but yeah i mean this is neat man i don't know it's kind of cool i figured you'd appreciate it just as your fan it's very cool man i i you know i can't afford one. Right now, I don't think... I know. Right now, it would not be a responsible purchase, Rexer. It would not be. The wife would not be happy. This is a sheer fire way to piss the wife off immediately. That's it, man. I just wanted to get your take on it. It seems like you're at least as intrigued as me, but cost is always going to be the prohibiting factor there, but it's definitely cool. Dog, this is awesome, man. Don't be mad if I make some calls now and asking about it don't get me in trouble man they got a helpline you you know those guys hold the ip close to the chest they don't want to get we don't want to get them get me in trouble or anything anyways man well i appreciate you coming on you know i i knew you're a big fan uh but again those of you that uh that if you don't know rex or show go check it out and definitely subscribe to the channel and hit the little notification bell too i'm not too good at that most of the time so hit his hit his bell man thanks dude i appreciate it all right take care all right guys it's final thoughts time so what do i think about the golden t go this thing is pretty damn cool a tabletop you know high quality golden t machine hap trackball all arcade controls 15 inch high def screen and you can hook it up to a tv via hdmi that's pretty damn cool now it is pretty expensive at $2,200, but it's a really good value when you think about how much a pedestal, you know, Golden Tee 2020 costs. So I want to thank Rexler for coming on and sharing, you know, his opinion of it. He seems pretty pumped up, but again, price is the concern for him too. So I want to know, is this something you're interested in? Put it in the comments below.
