In 1975 pinball was very popular. Arcades would have a whole wall full of pinball machines. In the late 90s video games were making more money and pinball was kind of in decline. Today we see a resurgence in pinball. We wanted to bring new technology to the game. We made something that is sensory overload. It is mechanical, fast, it has the animations, the sound, all the light shows. Trying to build the greatest pinball machine ever. I'm in what was called originally the coin-operated amusement industry. In 1975, I took a temporary job as a pinball mechanic, and here I am 37 years later. There are two companies in the United States of America building full-size, real, arcade pinball machines. And it feels great to be one of those companies. I was able to start Jersey Jack Pinball because of the trust that our customers had in us and the company and our team. It cost a million to develop this product. I did put my own money in the company but the majority of the money came from our customer base. I was certain that we get a thousand pre-orders on the Emerald City Limited Edition Wizard of Oz. And we did. I knew if I wanted to do a first game, it had to have universal appeal. It had to appeal to young people, older people, men, women. The Wizard of Oz is timeless. The 75th anniversary is next year. Some of the new elements of this game, first of all, there are no light bulbs in it. It's all RGB LEDs that could be any color. That's never been done in a pinball machine before. The sound system is unique to us. It's proprietary. You have two LCD monitors in it. This game also has a motherboard in it, which enables it to go onto the Internet. What I would like to see is a company that's building 15 games a day, 2,000 games a year, profitable, and giving good jobs to people. The best part of this business for me is being involved with something that I love, so it's not work. This is very cool to come here to see people having fun, building a product that brings enjoyment to people, and getting to work with family and friends. You take a lot of joy in that.
