It's the premium, except it doesn't, Actually, I feel like it's the LE, but it doesn't have the Groot hands. The reason I say that is because the LE is the only one that has spinners. The fishbowl. Also, the LE has more magnets, actually, which is what Matt Henry at Free Goal Watch told me. Because Matt's looking for an LE. It has the Groot hands that are like here, and it has a couple of other magnets in certain spots. but our table has the spinners and has the orb that opens and closes is that correct yeah yeah and that was one of the key things i i really love the orb and i really like the spinners but those hands were just like and i've heard now the hands are smaller from when it originally came out but so it's but it's you can't see you can't look under and see the inserts and yeah and the pen so it just didn't work out the hands get in the way for me i don't like the hands um but so you guys will be happy to know this has spinners so you can abuse so now the easiest mode in the game i would say is antiquities because if you abuse spinners you're good if you can hit spinners spinners all day that's called getting bored right there by the way this has the full cleland mod if you don't want the cleland you can turn it off in the script but the cleland basically means there was a guy on pinside there was a person on pinside who decided to add more gardens of the galaxy music to the game and our version supports that 100% now. So every... The old version had some Cleland music, but as you'll listen to here, we have all the Cleland music and all the... Well, that magnet, holy shit. That magnet is mean. I ran out of time. Let's play some more what else is there to we add so there's there's so many additions to this i so the fishbowl i watched almost two years to today august 11th 2020 i streamed guardians of the galaxy for the first time the sneak peek for the first time here on this channel and I watched that stream and that was a really good effort I'm not kidding it was a really good effort I was holding back a lot of thoughts about okay that shot's not quite right that shot's not okay well no and I remember one point you had Cherry Bomb ending like once you hit the super and actually every mode ended yeah Groot ended and Xandar ended and emulation made you force you to complete it um yeah it was a lot of issues so so I thought um I the fishbowl I think you and I were definitely like hey we want to get we want to deep dive into more stern code not just stern code this is pinball code this is not stern code there's actually absolutely no stern code in this and I I wouldn't even think about like combos are for every game. Every game has combos. You know, JJP has combos, um, um, ball timers and ball savers and add a balls and, and, and, and, and stall timers and cues and everything. All this stuff is in all these pinball games. Um, so I would take a lot of trips to free all watch. I set up my stream on a weekend and people like, Hey man, are you streaming? Nope, not streaming. I'm, I'm gathering intel for our little group to figure out how this and that works and this and that works. Bring home a lot of footage. We're here on Zoom playing, watching, recording. Check that, check that, this, that. Having long conversations about... Oh, and I got to thank... Definitely got to thank a lot of people. We watched a lot of footage of people. I mean, not only my footage, but we watched a lot of Deadpool. we watched a lot of don't panic flip i really gotta think don't panic flip um and escher we watched a lot of escher playing this game because escher is one person on the planet who basically can get to save xandar twice in one game yeah unbelievable yeah it was absolutely amazing so um watching a lot of escher watching and listening to escher talk about things like for example um how Escher uses a Hadron to increase the value of the next shot. So we now have combos in here. So if you hit a ramp, a valid shot on the other side may flash for a combo. That'll give you double points on that. Escher figured out how to multiply the scoop here. A lot of people play Quill's Quest first to get a feel of the game. But realize the last shot on Quill's Quest, Quill's Quest Mode will give you 10% of your current score so what Escher would do is go through almost the entire game then play quills quest with it multiplied figure out another multiplier and the kid got like 40% of his score once he got a six billion point shot on George's stream six billion now the little pop-up had to even crunch it down and just put like a little B over there you know on the right or M on the right because it just wouldn't fit on the screen the score so bit so yeah the guy plays the game in a completely different world than the normal people but we want this game to play like we want this game to play for those for those cats i have yet to get to zave zandar six billion on georgia stream not here I have yet to get to save Xandar but I can consistently get to most of the time I can get to Cherry Bomb and every once in a while I can get to Immolation and I can tell you guys how to do all that stuff but let's just play another game just a note you have 6 hours of video that you've given me so far 11 gig is what I have I personally gave you six hours of video. Every time you complete Nova Corps, every time you complete all the inlanes for Nova Corps, you light your playfield multipliers, your shot multipliers, sorry not your playfield multipliers, your shot multipliers. You want Groot? Definitely. get into group multiball he's already double move the scoop to the can you can you micro flip on these digital pins yes shell shock you can in fact I've done the trick for a little while where you trap two balls during quill and you just backhand one ball into the scoop constantly with little micro flips if I I can do it today. Oh, that's gone. Okay. So let's work on Cherry Bomb right now. The fishbowl. How is it working on this as well as Iron Maiden? Oh, I mean, like, you mean just the sharing of the code? yeah well i mean keeping things straight in your brain with rule sets from iron main and rule sets from guardians yeah i mean it's sometimes it does get a little blurry but the nice thing is like we find a bug on guardians and i'm like oh iron main has that same bug and then i make another note that i was like oh i think batman 66 has that same bug so i'll make a note have a list running note of like hey go check this on those and and it's been working really great the uh i mean like the quick ball ad so when it goes out the outlane drain you know that was something you know you're like hey why can't we do that and so when i was on iron maiden i was like why why can't we do that so i did it and i pulled it over here well there was an issue that we had like where the the balls would get all stacked up there's like this weird corner case that it gets stacked up I'm like, ooh, that same bug is in Iron Maiden now. And same thing with the – when you have the stab on the add a ball, the ball save on the right out lane on this one, right? Well, Maiden has the same thing. It has the revise, right? And so I have to do that same code, and I'm like, there's a bug. And I'm like, oh, gosh. It's been nice. the rules have been i just it's been nice because i watch videos when people make videos of diva of bugs i it puts me back in the mindset easy but other than that i haven't been too confused you know it's just uh i'm sure escher has way more rules in his head than i'll ever have so it's it's not too bad we we're old guys we have to write them down escher just has them and i know and they're just like obviously you know that's 10 of the score and if you you do this this and that you can uh multiply it and i'm just like yeah dude i can't see that far in the future yeah um yeah trav um there is a maiden stern tribute in works is being created by the vpw group i did stream it a little while ago and um you can find lots of video of it on YouTube actually, not just by myself, but there are dev development people from VPW who are streaming their gameplay. So if you just go to YouTube and look up Iron Maiden VPX, you can see some of it is freaking amazing. I had zero nothing to do with it and I want to thank the VPW guys extraordinarily for letting me sneak peek it. That being said, I haven't played it because it's the version that I had is eons beyond. It's like eons old. And I'm waiting just like everybody else to see the release. I can't wait to see the release. um so uh yeah and so the shared it's kind of a there's a shared kind of i'm not going to call it a framework but there's not a shared abstract ideas to fishbowl that you're saying from each one of these tables batman um iron maiden and guardians um so that it's nice that if you know I send you a bug for guardians you can say hmm is that same bug in iron maiden and back and forth so it's almost like we're all fixing bugs kind of at the same time right I mean look at the last one we just did combos I mean we just looked at combos on guardians and we figured that out and I mean combos on guardians was horrible initially it's like I don't even know what I was thinking I It's like I didn't even know what a combo was. But now the way combos work and they amplify and they can stack and stack and stack, as well as stack your shot. You can do a 4x combo on a shot. You can have the shot multiplier going. You can have playfield multipliers going. You can have rockets rampage kind of thing going. I mean, there are so many amplifications that you can do on a single shot that it's just mind-blowing. But the way we've implemented it now, it's like, hey, I've already looked. I'm like, oh, I need to use this everywhere. It's very good stuff. Yeah, and it's definitely like combos or something. Here's what's funny. Rick, one of the most amazing VPX testers on the planet a long time ago told me on stream you need to manage your playfield multipliers I mean your shop multipliers especially for Guardians and as soon as Rick said that I went and all of a sudden the shop multipliers seemed to just come into existence for me you know what i mean like i was like oh there's just green lights on the play field and rick's like no they're shot multipliers right so so escher did kind of the same thing i mean when you got people at this high like rick escher and stuff like that who play uh escher did the same thing when escher explained to george what he did to make a shot worth so much more and then the fishbowl and i looked at that and went holy smokes okay let's make it work and we kind of made it work so yeah um uh what else i want to say real quick that like i said um no let's let's speed run let's speed run through uh by the way if you don't know what a combo is uh real quick combo rick has rick has his own version of pinball multiverse that's true i got serious serious mad respect for rick holy smokes okay um You got me started. There you go. And that's a compliment for those who are wondering. Good bug finders are amazing, yeah. So a combo is when you shoot one shot on a table, and this happens on a lot of Stern tables, shoot a shot, right? Another shot that can be hit quickly will get lit and kind of strobes. And that shot will be double the value. it only lasts for three seconds so if you notice you're playing a pin that that's to ask you to play faster you don't want to play faster but if you have the accuracy will go the pros you can actually play faster and get get combos going so for quill I'm trying to spin the spinners as much as I can cuz spinners switches give me um switches give me progress damn switches give me progress hey butchins thank you for thank you for throwing me your prime wow i appreciate you and welcome to the welcome to the stream um so from what i gather it is emulated but how is it being emulated oh the fishbowl you can you can talk about that it's all scripted so i mean we start it's all written in visual basic script and we just go back and look at the all the videos and figure out hey what does what look at the rules and re-implement the whole thing from scratch so it's uh that's how we do it and then the second half is pup right so a lot of people emulate tables um can can code all that up but then we leverage pup and we emulate all the backlash stuff so seeing what's being displayed when's it being displayed what's the font what's the color everything what clips are being played when sounds so that's how we do it i am absolutely loving the cleveland mod though once again when you get this game on your own you know when you get this game if you don't want if you want to stream it and you don't want copyright strikes we would suggest you not turning the cleland in the script you can turn cleland off that being said um that being said there are still well i'm gonna i'm gonna just f this game there are that game was terrible um that being said there are still a few clips in there that might get get you dinged. But for the most part, all of the Cleland songs disappear. Okay. But the actual Guardians physical table shipped with, I think, this song. Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell, Ain't No Mountain High Enough. If you play the old Guardians VPX, you won't get uga chaka to death anymore the fishbowl somebody told me they were like yo i love guardians but man that uga chaka gets to me sometimes yeah i says don't worry we took care of that it's not just you know baby thank god yeah it's not just hooked on a feeling um yeah and there was one other well obviously cherry bomb if we get to cherry mom so there are a few songs that they did get licensed to all the cleland mod did was introduce tons more songs like mr blue sky that's playing right now this would not play without the cleland mod i'm going to do that again so Shh, don't Borg me. Oh, don't Borg me, you son of a Borg-ing frat monster. So this is based off the mod you mentioned? Yeah. The sounds are based off the Cleland mod that we mentioned. And there's just a variable. All right. So, for example, this is the kind of shit I give DeFishbow shit about, okay? Yeah. Well, if we start the game, okay? As you know, generally speaking, in pinball machines, the modes will light up, right? If you can move a mode around, if you can move a choice around, it'll show you what shots you need to take. Well, for this particular table, notice, if I'm on Podchase, it shows me blue lights, blue inserts for the ramps. It's going to be mostly that, unless I get an upgrade. Ramps. Notice up at the top, though, that's called the skill shot. Okay? The skill shot will flash. So not only am I showing the things I need to shoot during the mode, but there's my plunger skill shot. Now, here's a trick. If I go to Escape Kiln, the inserts flash because you need to shoot the inserts. But, and this was an old version, not this version, as you notice, the inserts are flashing, but one of them is strobing now. That's the skill shot. and if you go to a real if you go to a physical guardians table you will see it do this because it still needs to show you the skill shot but it needs to also flash the inserts for this is the shot this is the mode you're going to be in I had my five year old plunge the ball we went to free watch I had my five year old plunge the ball while I held my phone right the fishbowl Yeah, yeah. So I just showed you guys how to cheese the antiquities mode by using the spinners. It's the same thing you can do on an actual physical table. Okay here we go. Yaka is also an easy mode. I mean, even just some effects like the lighting. You know, if you look at Maiden, the light, the G.I. lighting fades in. And that alone is just unbelievable. Yeah.
