Okay, so first and foremost, you'll see there's all these lights blinking that have numbers associated with them.

    So what that is, is under there, it says like 1, 2, 3. I don't know if you can even see them that well. So there's a 1 and a 9 for the left lane, 2 and a 10 for the middle lane, 3 and 11 in the right lane. 7 and 15 are here. 6 and 14 are here in this bank. 4 and 12 are this target. 5 and 13 are this target. What you're trying to do is collect all the balls for three modes. The first mode is nine ball. The second mode is rotation.

    Wait, I'm getting that wrong. The first mode is, I can't remember. I think it goes eight ball, nine ball, then rotation. Once you get through all of those, then it starts something called cutthroat countdown, which is the wizard mode, and it'll light up a number. and you've got to hit that number and if you can nail that specific number you get a million points for every lit number that you hit. It's awesome. Other than that your main multi-ball is locking up three balls in here. There's three scoops. You shoot a ball up there. It goes in the scoop. Stopper will pop up. The ball will come down. You've got to shoot another ball at that stopper to lock that ball that's inside of there back up. It'll drop the stopper. Get another ball in there. They'll both come down. You've got to do that a third time. Then you have that multi-ball. Instead of that multi-ball, you can actually lock up one ball and then lock up a ball here in ball-o-rama. And that starts a two-ball multi-ball. There's no real jackpot, except for getting it back into ball-o-rama here, but it's sort of garbage points. In the main multi-ball here, what you're doing is when it spits out all three balls, you want to keep getting it in that center scoop. That's where your jackpot is. And really, that's the game. But it's fun. So there's one.

    So if you folks are new here, there's a core set of pinball maneuvers that I like to show off that help people understand pinball better. For instance, if the ball's ever lightly hovering around the top of the flipper, you can hold the flipper up and cradle the ball. It's called cradling or trapping the ball.

    So if you need to shoot something, this allows you to just breathe and take a breath. See what's blinking. Usually if something's blinking and wants your attention, that's what you want to shoot for. Rule number one, never flip both flippers at the same time. Never hit both of these buttons at the same time. There's too many reasons why. Just don't do it. Okay, so this is called trapping the ball. If there's a shot you need to make that's over here and you can't backhand it with an early shot and you need it on that flipper, there's a maneuver you can do called the post pass. What you do is you give it a quick little flip and it rams the ball into the bottom of the slingshot. This triangle thing here, these are called slingshots. and it'll knock the ball over to the other flipper where you can trap up and shoot from there. Don't hesitate to animate. So you just give it a little poof. Sometimes it needs a little more. There you go. That's a post pass. So now that we're over here, we could shoot whatever shot we needed over there. Simultaneously, you could do it back the other way. There you go. Post pass. So, outside of that there's more advanced skills like drop catching and the dead flip. Yeah, let's show you the dead flip. So, the namesake of the show is based on the easiest pinball maneuver in all of pinball, called the dead flip. It's also called the bounce pass or the dead pass. What it is, is you don't do anything. Alright, and I'll show you. What happens is, let's say the ball is careening towards this flipper here. Okay? Your instinct would be to flip at it, but you don't know where the frick the ball is going to go. Alright? Pinball is all about slowing the game down. So, what you do is, the ball is flying at this flipper. Guess what you do? You don't do anything. You just leave the ball, hit that flipper.

    What happens is, the ball is going to hit it, lose most of its momentum, and hop over to the other flipper. Let's see if I can demonstrate this.

Now, on a lot of newer turns, the reason it's hard to show on this machine is because this This game has the rake of an old EM machine. This game is very flat versus games like F-14 or the newer Sterns, which are super raked up high. If you shoot up a ramp, it doesn't make it all the way, and it comes back down, but it's aimed directly at a flipper, it's going to bounce over to the other flipper. Okay? Yes, and if you folks have any questions on anything, don't hesitate to ask.

You don't know. But what you do know is if it hits right here, it's going to lose most of its power and come over here where you can trap up the ball. Then from here, if you're like, shit, it's on the wrong flipper, do a post pass. Put it on the right flipper and then shoot it on its way. Easy peasy.

That's a slap save. Now a lot of people go, But how do you stop the ball when it's going straight down the drain? The answer to that is called a slap save.

    Here's how you do a slap save. Let's say the ball's perfectly coming down straight in the middle. Then it's up to your discretion if you want to slap on the left or the right.

    But you want to read on the fly if the ball's closer to the right flipper or left flipper. Let's say it's coming off of here, and you can tell it's going to go down the drain. but the left flipper is closer than the right flipper. So what you want to do is, as the ball's coming, you're just going to want to flip. Here, let me get the ball over here so I can explain this better.

    As the ball's coming, it's just like flipping, but you're also hitting the cabinet. And what that's doing is when you hit and flip at the same time, you're moving the play field centimeters enough to just barely get the tip of the flipper on that ball, and it's either going to flip the ball or just barely tip it over to the other flipper. Now, if you're a person that hits both flippers, you know what's going to happen? It's going to get all jumbled up and you're going to drain. Leaving that other flipper down allows it to casually come up the in lane or just land on the other flipper so you can trap it. All right? So, baboosh. All these things with these flippers I'm teaching you guys relate to every freaking pinball machine ever. That's why I'm saying practice this.
