Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Today, Capcom Arcade Stadium is available for Steam. So if you are a huge Capcom fan, this is a must-have. It's packed with tons of games and downloadable content for you to enjoy, and they're all some of Capcom's most classic titles. Now, something that's really unique and exciting about the launch on Steam is that they've partnered with Rec Room Masters, and Rec Room Masters has created a custom Capcom Arcade Stadium skinned cabinet with this control panel that they designed specifically for Capcom Arcade Stadium. It also is fully compatible with Steam. So you can enter to win each one of these. This is a one-time thing. They're not going to make these regularly. It's literally for this announcement. Now, that's not all you can win. There's a third prize, which is 10 DLC codes for Ghosts and Goblins. Now, that's not all. I'm actually raffling off 10 DLC codes for Ghosts Goblins as well. And if you stay to the end of the video, I'm going to tell you how to enter to win that. And I'll also have information about how to win the Rec Room Masters Cabinet Control Panel and DLC codes. So let's jump into the gameplay. We'll check out Capcom Arcade Stadium, and then we wrap up. I'll show you what you need to do to enter this contest. The software comes with 1943 bundled in. The rest of the games are actually available through downloadable packs. Now, I want to thank Capcom for sponsoring this video and providing me with all of the games unlocked so I can showcase this for you. So if you do stay till the end of the video, I will show you where you go to enter the contest so you can gain access to the DLC codes and also enter to win both the arcade cabinet and the controller. So let's dive into one of the games here for a second. I'll show you some of the options that you get in Capcom Arcade Stadium and also some of the unique features. Before we jump into a game, you can toggle between the English version of the ROM and the Japanese version of the ROM by pressing the view button on an Xbox compatible controller. Now we're going to enter the game really quick and when you do that, there are several different options. You can do time challenges there special challenges which are going to be made available throughout the lifetime of the software there game manuals where you can actually see how to play the game if you unfamiliar with the game which is really nice to have And then there game settings themselves which this exposes dip switches of the original arcade board. So you can adjust the difficulty just like you could on the traditional arcade board. You can also say how many lives you'd like to start with. Now, these settings vary by game, but they're available for all the games. Then you can apply and save the settings. once you start a game you have the ability to change the way the game is displayed so once you put your coin in now you can display it like this or you can display it differently so if i want to like let's say look at the whole entire screen instead of having this arcade you know arcade cabinet skin i can go to a custom normal uh dash is going to give you scan lines so i i tend to just play it in normal or the dash mode which is actually give it gives you more of scan line type of an effect. And you could actually stretch the image if you want. You can basically do anything you want with it. We're going to, for purposes of this, we'll just play in the normal mode. So I'm going to back out of here, apply my settings, and then we can get back into the game. All right, let's play some Final Fight. So something I'm actually really excited about is the fact that a lot of these new games are showing up and popping up in Steam. So things like Capcom Arcade Stadium, where you have access to lots of Capcom games in one place, has got me kind of thinking about how neat it would be to build a Steam-enabled arcade cabinet, right? So, you know, that's kind of what Rec Room Masters is doing with the giveaway, so I hope you do consider entering, because I think that'd be a really cool thing to win. But I kind of have this idea in my head that the future of DIY arcades may actually be Steam-enabled cabinets, right? I mean, it is something that more and more games are popping up in Steam, you know, Capcom doing things like this. It's really cool. All right, so let's check out a couple more games, and then I'll give you some final thoughts, and I'll tell you how to enter these contests. Okay, I literally couldn't do this video without showing Street Fighter 2 World Warrior, because it's the game that started the fighting game craze for me in the early 90s. So there's also some unique features of Capcom Arcade Stadium that I want to show you guys which some of you may or may not like but I think could be fun if applied the right way so let say you Ryu or Ryu depending on how you like to pronounce that and you're you're fighting and you're not liking something that went down like let's say I jump right here and something happens to me that I don't like like that I can actually rewind the game and try again. Oh, see, I didn't like that. You know, it's cheating for sure, but you know some people might think that's a neat feature. So you know, there's definitely things that Capcom has brought to the platform that didn't exist, you know, when we were playing this game back in the arcades. Keep in mind there's also save state. So if I'm in the middle of a game and I want to save it to you know play it later on I can hit save and there's several different save slots there and then I can return to that point in time later on so as a grown man who's got stuff to do in a family I like features like this because I can go back and you know play another time so again I can show you you can load the game load it back from where I was a minute ago and And there I am. Each game on the system also has a score challenge and a special challenge. Now, I notice most of them have score challenges, which you basically meet an objective and then your score gets uploaded. The special challenges, I didn't see any. Most of them just say there's currently no special challenges available, so I'm assuming this is a feature that's coming later on. Okay, next game we're going to play is Pro Gear. Now, keep in mind, I don't have any filters or scan lines on, but you can go into the game menu when you're in any game and go to display settings, and you can see there's a filter option. So you can do type A, type B, type C. You've got smoothing filters and all that kind of stuff. So if you like your pixels smooth, you can do that. I'm not a big fan of that. So I tend to just roll with the normal settings, but of course you can play this however you want. So if you had this on like a 16.9 display, right, like a widescreen display in your arcade cabinet, it would be kind of cool that you have the side bezel so you can maintain the traditional aspect ratio of the game so you not stretching the image now some people like to do that and to each his own wherever you want to do i would rather have the original aspect ratio maintained and use the side bezels but at least they give you the option to do either one so they're not telling you how to play it you play it the way you want to play it which is which is really neat all right so before we wrap up here i wanted to show you how many games are actually on here. There's quite a few. So even if you're a Capcom casual or a Capcom hardcore fan, there's definitely enough here to keep you busy. And I want to thank Capcom again for providing me with the keys so that I could showcase this technology for you guys. Now we're going to go to final thoughts and I'll show you where you go to enter the contest. All right, guys, it's final thoughts time. So where do you go to enter these contests?
