Well, hey there! Zach with Flip N Out Pinball, straight down the middle, and the Pinball Show Podcast. Today I get to show off a game that I've been playing a lot of as of late. A jam-packed game, a game that is packed with jam. It doesn't have jam, but it is packed with tons of charisma. It's got a lot going for it. It's from the company Barrels of Fun Pinball. It is Jim Henson's The Labyrinth Pinball. I'm going to be 100% with you. This is one of my childhood dream themes. But I never thought for one second that any company would ever produce Jim Henson's The Labyrinth for a pinball machine. I stand here overwhelmingly happy that I was wrong. Today I'm going to be showing you all of the features that this game has to offer, some gameplay, and hell if we're lucky, maybe a little entertainment as well. But before you go falling in love with this game, remember if you haven't done so yet, Order yours today at FlipinOutPinball.com. It's right down at the bottom there. It's either at the bottom or it's the top. Maybe it's the top. FlipTheLetterInOutPinball.com or you can email me at Zach, Z-A-C-H, at FlipInOutPinball.com. If you have one already on order, congratulations. I can't wait for you to get one of these in your game room, and I'm about to show you why. Well, we're all waiting. I have turned the world upside down And I have done it all for you You have 13 hours in which to solve the labyrinth Turn back before it's too late Things are not always what they seem in this place Young adventurer Search me We're just the knockers I'm not your boss! Would you go left or right? Stop, I say! Get out of my house! You got it, I got it! Shh! Shh, shh, shh. Whoa, super jackpot! You're a wonderful conversational companion. Oh, no, the queen! Complete this quest, and you'll be rewarded. Where you going with her? Look what I'm offering you. Your dreams. By now, many of you know that I try to bring a little something extra when it comes to media production for the industry of pinball. Not only is this situation no different, but for this game in particular, I had to bring out the big guns. The 4K WUG. That's right, baby. The World Under Glass Cam. Bam, bam, bam. There's no better World Under Glass than, look at this. This thing is a beauty. Boom! It's our patented WUG Cam. I mean, with this game, you got to. Look at this. With the Labyrinth Pinball, there's really so much to be seen, to be heard, to be experienced. We'll get some gameplay in, but as you look throughout this play field, you see whimsical whirling, twirling wire form ramps. You see custom molded landscaping everywhere within the castle walls. You see the knockers in the distance, the wise man there. Even you've got this interactive wall over here. We have spinners. We have magnets under the playfield. We have magnets in the back of the playfield. We have a cottage here that Ludo bounces out of. We have the little worm right here. Hello. We've got fireys that pop their heads up here and in the back there's a lot of stuff even the interactive lcd screen in the backboard in place of that backboard interactive speaker lighting powder coated trim package interior art blades it's all here it's beautiful look at the artwork on this even it's like gold mirrored plastics come on the call outs on this game are phenomenal as well what we're going to try to do there's a couple different skill shots but overall you see right here I don know if your camera can see but one two three four five there six different modes to play You also have a Goblin City Multiball you get a Friends Multiball If you get through everything you battle Jareth There's also another mini-wizard mode somewhere throughout there. One of the particular things I love about this game is that it's not going to confuse you with all these different things going on at once, but it is akin to like those old 90's Bally Williams that you love so much, but then that is enhanced to have the depth of a game in the 2020s. So very much like Spooky Pinballs Rick and Morty, some of the same coding team, you'll have modes, but the modes will only get you so far. If you do well enough and complete a mode, you can collect an orb, collecting an orb right there. You can collect orbs by doing different things throughout the game, not just modes, but maybe some jackpots throughout the multiballs. I love a game that kind of varies the way that you can approach it. This game is no different. As the gates open, as we enter into the maze, into the labyrinth. You're damn right, Hoggle, I'm going in there, baby. So we short plunge just because I want to see my worm pop up. That didn't come out right. All right, as you see, there's white shots on the play field. I just hit two of them. And if I hit enough, I qualify a mode at that loop up there that I just hit. So let's see if I can hit another. There's a white shot. At the loop, the mode is lit. One of them. One of the six, anyway. I can also hit the scoop. Don't you dare. Don't you dare. Now, Labyrinth isn't what I would call a hard game. It is by no means an easy game. Up or down. Let's go with the fiery. He shows up. I'd say it's a moderately moderate difficulty game Alright, let's get this loop going or the scoop to get a mode Wow Jared is not hangry sir. Did a miss this post a thank you. Diddy Did you see Jareth with that magic magnet ball? Alright, so I've also, oh my god this is one of the best modes, probably in pinball. Watch, so it loads up a ball right there, the physical ball locked in. What you have to do, you have to knock the thing's head off, just like the movie. And you gotta do it with enough force. Bam! There it is! And then it adds another ball. Oh, that's a big old dream. The integration that these modes have makes them so much fun. They're not forgetful. Did you see that magnet? Up or down. He chose up. Let's go to the knockers. Did you see that magnet? Yeah, you probably want to focus on that double ball drain. But no. The magnet. The start mode is lit. Oh god. No. Don't do it. Alright. Shoot the scoop. Get my reward. My mystery. One bonus multiplier plus I'm just going to start a mode here. I love this. Okay. I'm also, I've qualified my locks too, y'all. So, ball one lock is the left orbit. Left orbit. Oh, my gosh. Zach, you monster, you. Well, get up there. Enough, enough, enough. The magnet caught it Locked the ball Now the second ball lock is up the side ramp Which you can hit it from your right flipper He's going to be good. I'm looking at yellow shots now. Oh boy. Oh, Gnareth, you nasty little man, you. Did you see? Oh, did you see his craziness there? Okay. If he would have went that way, he would have went straight to the castle. So the knockers mode there, I really did poorly on. Jairus messed me up with his magnet. That's not why I drained. I was so mesmerized by his toiling balls that I blew it. I didn't blow the balls. Ball 2. Things I'm going to focus on Ball 2 include, I'm going to try to hit enough white shots to qualify in another mode, but I'm also going to try to get that Ball 2 lock, trying to get ball three lock stacked onto a mode. And I can do that second ball lock by that side ramp. So I'm going to try a short plunge here and try locking that ball too. And then right orbit is how I start that multiball. Two degrees. I do not want to start that yet, though. I'd like to get a mode going before I start that. Wow! That's quick. All right. Mode is lit. Ball save. Don't trip it up, Zach. You got the ball save, buddy. I'm also going to start that side quest rack, so I'm going to get the bonus multiplier. It's a reward. And one of those always lies. So four guards. Four guards. Let's see if I can stack that with the multivolts. A lot of interaction, immersive. There we go. There's that ball. Those, and you've got to get two of the same. My mom's in the art park. You've got to get two of the same ones lit, one of them lying, one of them telling the truth. But more importantly, the vote. I know I've got to play, but I want to jam. Thank you, Dennis. What should I do? My baby's love has gone You want to lock the balls again, though. Watch out for Jarius Magnus. Oh, there we go. So I locked that ball again. Now I've got to hit it for a super, I believe. And there we go. Did I get it? Oh, I didn't think I did. Get up there. Alright, there we go. I'm going to try to lock that ball again. It's asking if I want the super, and I do. There we go, locked that ball. Oh, couldn't backhand it. There we go. Oh my gosh. So much fun to try to... See they make shots fun and I blew it! So often, so often multi balls are just like this flail fashion. You're just trying to hit stuff, but this one's actually fun. There's like purpose to it. All right, so you see the blue and reds? I'm trying to get them all one color because one tells the truth and one lies. So I got to get them all one color. So there, let's see. How cool of a mode is that? Okay, so let's see if I can... Start doing a Miss Jackpot, level one, completing the health lane. I'll start Friend multiball now. Yeah, sure, why not? Let's do it. We get to jam out again. I'm Hoggle. I'm Hoggle. I submit a must-year to the... Friend multiball. At least you getting to see everything Oh Zach with the shorts Gotta gotta get me outta here Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Still got that mode going. But I am not doing myself any favors with that mode. All right, now I'm just... Ah, the double drain! Yeah, I blew that mode. I don't think I've completed a mode yet, but I did get that. Maybe I did. You'll see behind this upper right flipper, there's a collect orb insert that is lit for me to collect an orb. And that's the name of the game, baby. It's that other layer of this game that makes it exceptionally great. More so than most every other pinball machine made. And I want that collect orb. So I'm looking at white shots to qualify mode, but I'm very much wanting to collect the orb under that upper right flipper. I'll take another shot at that. Yeah, why not? Flow for days, baby. Give that back to me. Give that back. Alright. Let's see if I can hit this. Nope. You are scared. Yes, it's true. My adventure has ended. but yours is just now beginning. Go to FlippinOutPenball.com and order yours, your very own labyrinth, Jim Henson's labyrinth. Hello. And bring it home today. Bring home Ludo. Hoggle. You're not going to bring home Jennifer Connelly. Now Sarah. Sarah's not in this game. We don't need her. But Jareth is. David Bowie. Get me out of here. Out of here. I'm out of here. I don't know how to get out of here. Don't hit the right orbit. Right ramp. Oh, the magnet. Jareth is out. He's trying to get me. But Sir Devin, that will not let it happen. That's an example right there of why I will continue to play the labyrinth and have a blast. I don't fall asleep playing this game. There's some games on the market that you just simply do. This one, I'm not going to fall asleep. It's Keeper for me. This is a Keeper. This is what we call a Keeper. It's going to go in my collection. I'm not going to get the bolts out because that's just a little excessive. But this is my game forever. Right orbit. Right orbit. Right orbit. Don't shoot. I lost count. Damn! Oh god. Thank you Didymus. Your mother is a friggin' aardvark! My mother is not a friggin' aardvark. Your mother is a babe. What babe? A babe with power. What power? You do it. I stole my baby. I got a beat playing here. I love this song. What did I do? I don't think I can backhand that loop. Oh, man. That was a little J, wasn't it? Woo-hoo. I'm ready to get you out of here.
