Oh, that sounds means it's time for episode 172 of Don's Pinball Podcast. I got dragons to talk about. We're going on a road trip. We're down in the south in Florida. The only place in the country you have to go north to get south. All that and some more Metallica. Why don't you line up a jam so we can get this episode kicked off. What do you say? 172, let's go. Lars, you ready? You building up? All right, hit me. I can just rock out to enter Sandman all day. Hello, everybody. Coming to you from the Sunshine State down here in Florida, home of Miami, base and booty shaking. And we got some information to delve into. On the way down here, discovered a little bit of tidbit of information on the newest Stern release, Dungeons & Dragons. Heard about this on the plane. Can we go, Don? What exactly were you hearing? Dreams of war, dreams of life, dreams of dragons, fire, and the things that we'll fight. Oh, that's right. The dragons are flaming. Guys, watch out for note board number 10, Dungeons & Dragons from Stern Pinball. Big fail, apparently. Well, what has happened was, in a small case, of some of the LE editions that have gone out, And to that extent, I would think a premium. There's an issue with one of the motors on the head that moves side to side, I'm guessing, because that's the difference between that and the pro. Where, according to a cable jacketing issue, there's a chance for the internal wire to become damaged, sending intermittent blasts of voltage down to the board, causing mayhem and problems. So, a cautionary measure alert was just sent out from Stern Pinball to all owners and operators of a Stern Pinball limited edition Dungeons and Dragons, of which I'm on the list to be one, saying to disable the dragon as we furiously work on a fix. Now, a little curious about what exactly is going on. Is there a short going out in one of the node boards at the attachment point? is this as simple as a wire harness or a zip tie which is acting as a pinch point and as the part is moving around it's putting some undue stress at a certain part of the wire i'm not sure but kudos to mr george gomez who jumped on the facebook thread to outline in a paragraph exactly what this issue is in a somewhat jargony way uh but apparently cables have uh have dressings harnessing something like that, jacketing, jacketing for the cables. Now, I don't know if this means that there's a wire harness, which is a bundle of wires all together that get zip-tied. I'm sure they need to be secured somewhere. And if there's movement of this dragon and just pulling on a certain area, maybe that needs to be redone or redressed. I've heard other folks say that maybe this is a voltage regulation issue and some sort of attenuation needs to be placed in line in that circuit, whatever. What I will say is that this is probably the reason I didn't receive a call to go pick up my D&D LE yet. So Jeff and Matt Pinball, he's going to let me know as soon as that's ready. But it seems like this is why LE production halted and they started running some pros and maybe a couple of premiums from what I heard. You know, it doesn't seem to be a parts issue. It seems to be like some, I guess you can call it aftermarket beta testing. So I got word first off from the Kickback Cafe down there in Madison, Wisconsin. Cool place. Highlight this location is what I would like to do, since I speak like Yoda now. I was just down there for the first time the other day, popped in for about 15 minutes, played some Pabst Can Crusher and some Game of Thrones Premium. The rest of the Stern machines there I have or have had, but cool place. 48 machines, man, seemed like a place ripe for some growth. Well, they got their D&D LE now, and apparently there was smoke. There was, I don't know if there was fire, but where there is smoke, there is fire. But I guess they burnt or shorted out this little connection on that NodeBoard 10, which lives underneath the play field there. And it seems to be that the issue has been identified and a fix is in motion. So, look, as long as the games come out and they're solid and it's not like we're waiting a year for these, especially if code updates are coming fairly frequently, I can allow it. I can allow it. Although I would like to have had my D&D already. I'm out of town this week anyway. So, you know, to me, what's another week? But hopefully they can get this situated. Now, look, okay, we like innovation in pinball. We like new things that come out. We don't want to see the same thing retread and redressed over and over. That being said, it is always fun when a good idea shows up in a game that gets reused, maybe in a more interesting fashion in the future. But as long as we're pushing innovation, we're going to have these sorts of issues that pop up. And as long as it's mediated and rectified and isn't really much of a big deal going forward, I guess I can kind of allow it. But newsworthy. Now, this kind of does suck for us down here in Florida because we're about to go play a ton of Dungeons & Dragons. And hitherto forthwith, a lot of people haven't got to play this thing yet. It's only just recently got out on location. Now that pros are going out, we'll probably see more locations blow up with it. But people haven't got to get their greasy tendrils around the gelatinous cube yet in person. and so we're going to be down there we're going to be playing with these games uh bashing the dragon face but apparently the dragon may be deactivated now i don't know if there's a b mode that this dragon can go into where it reverts to just that pro up and down or is this going to be static dragon and we just got drop targets and gelatinous cubes to play with well at least there is that thunder dungeon we can go play into now i'll let you all know tomorrow uh just to recap i am on the eve of pinball at the beach it kicks off tomorrow in the afternoon i'm down here in florida at the resort i'm checked in carrie hardy's posting content from the show floor already man that dude gets access like you wouldn't believe so go join his patreon if you want to go get an early look at that i'm gonna i'm gonna jump on it later i got the notification haven't checked it out yet but carrie's a homeboy he's one of the invited celebrities that'll be down here too so we can all stand in line and get autographs from carrie hardy i haven't yet decided which body part i'm gonna present but it did bring a big brown sharpie that i happened to find in a florida parking lot today so i will be totally set hopefully there's still some ink in that pencil and then uh you know i get my chest or something signed by carrie notwithstanding i'm excited to be here i can't wait to get to the show floor tomorrow it's going to be amazing and dungeons and dragons is only one of the things that i'm looking forward to playing down there even if it's without the dragon head that sucks man i don't want to play the game without the cool dragon head going back and forth hopefully he still talks hopefully we got some wharf voice in there so uh yeah the lead story node board 10 some kind of fix is coming we'll hear about it more when we get it uh jeffamadpinball.com is not going to have to send me the fix kit because it seems like going forward uh this kit will already be installed in every machine so i don't think my le has made it quite into the production yet or at least not finished production and i kind of got to think that they probably just like held up as soon as they realized this issue was there so i don't think i'm gonna have to install a kit but it seems like you know 10% of the LE owners right now will have to do that. What that will amount to, we'll have to see. Maybe NAP Arcade will feature it and let us know. All right. Number two, this was a surprise. I was boarding my flight to head down here about two days ago, and then we got a NAP Arcade update. Guess what? Tilt Bob is no more. It has been reborn like the phoenix, like the lotus blossom, like the coming of spring into ramps. Just ramps. I guess they're just called ramps. There's a Ramps Pinball Company, Ramps Pinball Boutique, you know, the bodega down the street. I don't know what they're going to call the whole thing yet. It seems to me that our friend Tilt Bob, I guess, is that the dude? Is Bob the dude? Is Bob Tilt Bob? Anyway, Homeboy was the guy that did that amazing homebrew of the Elf Machine. I got to play it at TPF or something a year or two ago. Played great. I thought it was cool. Had some cool screens and effects into it. Would like to play it some more. He decided, heck, pinball can't be that hard. Did I just say pinball Pinball can be that hard I going to go ahead and start my own boutique company because of course that is what we need is more companies here Well with Haggis leaving and some other companies up in the air why not throw your straw hat into the ring So this dude lives down here in Florida and he's been working on a game called Road Trip. We saw some concepts. We saw pictures of the lower third of the play field or so with those cow drop targets. Looked pretty cool. What I thought was some placeholding art, which apparently may be in the final version of the game. But nonetheless, we got a full reveal of cabinet art, back glass, and layout. I love this, man. Wasn't even expecting it, but boom, it dropped down up there. I've got it up here on my laptop. I was going to go through and give you some impressions because, you know, you care what I think of this game. Now, it is called Road Trip, and it's themed around apparently a road trip and a Volkswagen bug. That's what I'm seeing on the side of the cabinet here. And a cute raccoon, man. I cannot fault the cuteness of this raccoon. so uh hasn't released the price of this thing yet maybe that's still up in the air uh looks like the edition size of this machine is going to be 500 which we've seen games that release at 500 do pretty well this is five times the amount of ninja eclipses that are going to be out there uh so can they crank these out now they look like they're uh shooting here for some higher finished levels they're powder coating the armor everybody and their mother is powder coating now it's guess what it's pretty easy to go do and adds a lot of cool functionality to your game I would have preferred to see some teardrop side armor because I am a sucker for that. I don't want my greasy nacho fingers messing up the decal around the button. But there you go. It looks like it's powder coated in a kind of a doo-doo red color, I would say. You know, it's a more muted kind of actual blood red. But then the speaker panel here looks like it's just black. So going with a little two-tone effect there. There's this Volkswagen bug features quite prominently. Man, this is going to get teared apart in the art. it's kind of all over the place it's called road trip and so far people have pointed out look it looks like you got san francisco you've got las vegas you've got tonopah where is nevada what the hell kind of road trip is that new york's in here and a roller coaster for some reason uh so we'll have to wait and see like more about the theme and everything from this but just looking at this game from the first picture i i'm i'm intrigued man we've seen some boutique companies all get their start i mean ninja eclipse uh punny factory america's most haunted am i missing anymore kelts oh god i wish i'd missed that game i that's a game i did not care for at all um and probably the worst art i think i've seen this side of barrio's barbecue challenge um no no one hated barrios because the art uh the animations a little weird a little wonky uh sound effects and things um but i'm looking at a game it looks like there's some art blades that are in there too that's cool man ramps ramps is it ramps what i don't know yet uh but good news this game will be playable tomorrow at pinball the beach is what i'm hearing now are they going to bring five machines are they going to bring one machine i'm going to bring myself over to this machine post haste because i think of everything that's down there this will be the one i haven't played yet and i love playing me some new pinball let's look at the layout here innovation okay so i see why they did not reveal the back third of the play field god it must have been six or eight months ago when they did a release of kind of what they were working on and the reason is because of this turntable which seems to be the main mechanism the main raison d'etre of this game uh which seems to function as a rotating diverter as like a rotating second level tabletop diverter um this thing's kind of cool it's the size of the one from batman 66 maybe a little bit bigger uh it's got two levels the bottom level actually has pop bumpers so the fact that this thing rotates with three pop bumpers on it yeah i'm gonna give it to him man that's some innovation um i'm interested to see what the wiring underneath there looks like i'm wondering if this thing will spin a full 360 or if it just pivots into like you know 60 degrees of motion in order to accommodate those three different shooter lanes up there it's like someone took gilligan's island and elevated it right so kind of cool i like that it's see-through i like that it shoot through i like that it has two levels uh so it's not just kind of blocking off the the view of everything kind of like how gilling and xylan did um i'll give it to them for doing one of these little spinny rooney ramps uh the wire form that's on the right side returning to the right in lane um does that you know what is it it's not uh it's a little bit more than a 360 it's a 360 and a half a 540 rotating down wire form ramp that's cool man we saw this on uh jurassic park labyrinth had something like this Godzilla had something like this in essentially the same area. And, hey, man, copy what works. I'm not going to judge you there. It looks like there's some interesting things on this play field. It's not just a street-level game. Most importantly for me are the cow tipping drop targets. Now, we saw this from the first release pictures, that there were some sort of polycarbonate or acrylic cows that are really wide for drop targets. And so the fact that you can go cow tipping in drop target form, I'm kind of into it. I'll have to wait and see how it affects the gameplay. There is a ramp to the left, which these cows look like if they are in the up position. We'll be blocking access, so you'll have to drop at least two of those to access this nice, wide, freaking ADA-compliant handicap person ramp that goes up behind the back wall of the play field. And I'm assuming tucks back into these other ramps at the back of the diverter somehow. They go around this, what is this, a Jeep Cherokee? What is this, a Ford Bronco? Is there a raccoon inside the car? what the heck's going on a couple of stand-up targets behind that so three in line to access this back corner of the play field that could be fun now just because there's three drop cow targets that are essentially in line doesn't mean that they'll all be uh you know up at the same time you know it's not that just to get back to the raccoon bronco you're gonna have to drop three of these things in a row maybe only one will be up when the game starts maybe you hit that one and then two others pop up and then you get to knock them down to get to the ramp maybe they'll be effective in modes maybe it'll be dancing cow mode maybe we'll see the return of twerking cows and then these drop targets will pop up and down in the motion of the twerking cow on the backlash shout out to galactic tank force i'm seeing four pop bumpers here okay you got this turntable with three pop bumpers on it and then a separate green one that's tucked around here i'm assuming for reasons uh then you got this kind of cross field ramp you shoot to the lower right turns around shoots underneath the uh the left ramp on over to the left who knows where that's going yet i'll be able to tell you more when i actually see this thing in action now this is cool man they release all this stuff and then we're going to be able to play it tomorrow so i like that fact the fact that this shouldn't didn't just come out as static and then we're not getting a play feel or gameplay video we'll be able to actually play this thing on person so get ready for some potato cams uh coming from the show as soon as tomorrow i'll probably get around to it not going to make it a priority because my priority number one is fun uh number two being awesome and number three uh doing live stream content for people on the internet so i think we'll get there soon what else we got we got four flippers here uh two standards one to the lower right and another mini flipper up by the raccoon bronco uh on the upper left kind of cool kind of cool we'll see if this is revolutionary or not uh no rollover targets they've decided to go instead with these like eddy current things that can like detect the ball from underneath the play field i don't know if those are going to be as responsive we'll see we'll see i don't know about making pinball machines like at this level so let's see what they have to give us i was saying when i first saw the layout and some of the art i was reminded of the rug that i i got my toddler nephew to go play with his hot wheels on the ground with you know the ones uh the little activity mats that have the roads all over them kind of what this looked like um you know and i was like well maybe it's just placeholder art you know get some ai stuff in there just to get started but apparently uh this is going to be final art so uh we'll learn to live with it uh if you're going to want to live with it now 500 machines when they're coming out who knows they're not accepting deposits and they haven't released what the price of this thing is going to be so that's why my expectations are still chilling and cooking in the back i'm not going to come down and judge this thing yet you come at me with fifteen thousand dollar asking price i'm going to be pretty judgy you come at me with a forty $4,500 asking price. I'm not going to be judgy at all. So, uh the barometer is somewhere there in the middle I can believe this to be a sub release And they probably looking at seven I would think But yeah for the cash you know Ninja Eclipse made a lot of sense We'll have to wait. And we'll have to see where this guy is going to end up. Oh, man, I'm trying to record this full of some banana daiquiris. All right, let's go to the next photo. Let's go to the next photo. This is a little wide view, kind of shows the bottom part of this. So we'll get shoot again, normal flippers. He got a double in lane on the left. John Borg called. Double in lane on the right. Holy garbage. We're doing crazy. All right, so three bank of drop targets. There's a three bank of drop targets. Moo targets on the left. I love that. All right, I'm going to take issue right here. Come over to the Golden Gate Bridge with me. You guys all have your Chromebooks pulled up? You got this image of the entire play field? All right, so I did the spinny target thing. You know, we saw this on Guns N' Roses with Slash hat. We saw this with Oddjob's hat from the Bond 60th. And here it is sitting right above the double in lane on the left. I think we see one of these in exactly the same spot on that Harry Potter homebrew as well, which it worked great on there. So, yeah, give me a couple of not individually controlled betton posts, but give me a double post spinner over a double in lane. Sure. Let's play with it. All right. Golden Gate Bridge, right? There's a little area that's going to shoot through. Okay, this is that shot that if you go to the right of the right ramp, there's a ball guy that goes around, okay, through a spinner. I can dig it. And then cross field and then drops into this little turnaround slot right underneath the Golden Gate Bridge, which looks like to have some floating platforms right there. And on this platform, now, if you've been to San Francisco, especially Pier 36 down there by Fisherman's Wharf, right, you got all these sea lions that just took over a marina. And for a while, they were like, okay, let's just kind of let them be, and then they'll kind of move somewhere else. But the sea lions have completely permanently taken over this area of Pier 35 down there, Fisherman's Work of San Francisco. And so it's a tourist attraction now. It was even featured in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater skateboard level when you were down the Embarcadero skating around. There was the sea lions that were down there. So California sea lions all over the place. And we do have some sort of pinniped that is placed down here in resin form that looks like a sea mammal. my only problem is this sea lion that they placed here has two giant tusks sticking out of his face which makes him a walrus and not a sea lion and walruses do not live in the san francisco bay sea lions do so if i'm getting this game i'm gonna first thing i'm gonna do is chisel those tusks off and go sell them to the ivory salesman because that's my friends walruses do not live in san francisco with this is it's sea lions that live there and they don't have tusks dude i don't know to tell you so i'm gonna if i meet one of these guys i'm gonna bring that up now maybe they're saying you know what we know we have the golden gate bridge right there but this blue plastic that's right next to the golden gate bridge that's actually you know somewhere in alaska where a walrus might live um but but but i'm gonna go ask him otherwise i love the fact they got this walrus there right above the moo targets because in my mind walrus is moo uh walruses also have tusks and they don't live in the san francisco bay i can't tell what this uh drop targets say underneath the bronco here i think they say owl i can't tell but uh what i'm seeing here is a lot of things and i like things in pinball pinball things are good there's a dinosaur for some reason all right but okay here we go we got we got four flippers we got two spinners um and we got some ramps and we got a whirly gig thing here which looks interesting and just looking at it i can't really work in my head exactly what all the ball paths are so am i excited to play this game hell to the yes i can't wait to play this game i love playing new pinball i'm more excited about this than i have been from other uh you know first time boutiques so we'll go see we'll see how it plays man how much is it going to be that's going to determine i guess the success level right at forty five hundred dollars this thing would sell a couple hundred um at uh ten thousand i don't think that would happen um so yeah we'll see now maybe they want to put this one out there as a lost leader just get their feet wet uh in the field here looks like they got lcd screen in the middle of the play field and one on the speaker panel area which is fine what other pictures do we have we zoom back on the cabinet oh tell me they got a custom shooter rod tell me they got what the hell is this all right i'm doing this in real time i'm zooming in on the shooter rod and i'm not sure what i'm seeing here it kind of looks like a white rose for a shooter rod how does that factor into anything oh look at them they did put an action button on the lockdown bar all right we'll go them that'll be fun all right well we see a lot of mods made for road trip looks like they're speaker lights okay graphics on the other side this volkswagen bug features heavily um i could dig it some farmland there ramps road trip rrt okay is ramp the name of the raccoon there he's kind of a cute guy oh there's aliens in this too okay i'm back on board you guys brought me in with the aliens what do we got on the cabinet here some some cool nature scenes all right what i don't see as a roller coaster so we'll see how that factors prominently into this game uh there's a feature list go check it out on nap arcade i'm not gonna bother reading all through all this stuff uh but it'll come with invisiglass too so it tells me they're maybe looking for probably more money than is reasonable for this i'll see what i can get out if you hear anything or if i hear anything i'll get it out to you uh cool thing uh they're gonna let you load your own music into this game i love that way to skirt the rights to getting music and uh just leaving it up to the end consumer but hey if it works it works and it's a way that i can get rammstein into a pinball machine so um yeah i'm down i'm excited to see oh the next picture i clicked over is a uh shot of evil dead um man let's go talk about that next did you see this i saw a post that was uh cross-posted from reddit onto facebook and uh said the only evil dead that's on location after seven days is having an issue and i thought dang nabbit you know we're pulling for spooky to not have issues with their games on location uh mainly because i want to see more location operators get their games because what i'm hearing from a lot of people is man i wish i had one of these games near me there's people that still haven't had a chance to play texas chainsaw massacre still haven't had a chance to play looney tunes and it's because they live in an area that doesn't have a location nearby that has it and the reputation has been a bit poor when it comes to spookies on location i'm thinking back in the days of uh you know rig and morty i think halloween burnt a lot of people Now QC, of course, has stepped up several levels from there. But you've got to prove that to the market. And it's hard when the market's already kind of like we just don't run spookies. So it was good to see that leading the charge, IO Arcade and Madison Pinball were putting out basically spooky games as soon as they come out. And it sounded like Evil Dead was doing great on location. It sounded like it was doing fine. So the issue, this is hilarious, by the way. seven days into evil dead being on location the issue was that it quit accepting coins like you tried to put a coin in it just nothing would happen uh come to find out it was because the cash box was completely full of coins oh my goodness five hundred dollars worth of coins is what's estimated to be the value of a four coin box i haven't had a chance to test that myself but dang man and i saw the picture to prove it a cash box inside this machine on location absolutely brimming with quarters uh so yeah it sounds like the game isn't having any issues knock on wood i have a glass table here but it will suffice um but yeah uh sounds like from the reports this game's been just chugging along and just has been a tank which is phenomenal to hear because i have not yet played my evil dead to tank levels and it seems like one that is getting absolutely beat to crap by quartered munching uh enthusiastic players at io arcade in madison uh it's just kicking butt so it stands to reason that mine well too was from the same vintage right it was saying like first 10 games out i got one and uh yeah i'm going along no issues uh i did that live stream um i only had about 35 games played through there um i did have to adjust uh the servo settings um on the diverter that's in the shooter lane so wasn't a shooter lane issue now my immediate fix when a ball kicked out and then the early code didn't recognize that yet and kicked another ball out, and then everything just kind of paused. I reached under there and ejected two more balls. I was told today over dinner very politely that Don that is not the way to fix that Just throw more balls at the problem My response to them was that the only way I could fix it without taking the glass off and I just got disapproving stares So that won't be an issue as far as, like, multiple balls ejecting anymore once the next codec comes out, which I think is furiously on the way. But what it turned out was it was just a small adjustment to the end point of the sweep of the servo. This is all very technical jargon. But if it sweeps a couple of positions too far, it can lead to a little ball trap where a ball can occasionally get held up in the shooter lane. So I backed it off a couple of steps, and now there's no way a ball can get stuck in that little position there anymore. Not very technical stuff. The kind of thing that you would notice after less than 50 plays on a game, and then you would adjust it, and then you wouldn't have that problem anymore, which is what I've been assured is the issue. Now, I heard some people talking about this. you know twilight zone had this double shooter lane issue and used a coil to run a diverter what's spooky doing you know messing with what works why'd they go with a servo here instead of a diverter so me being me i asked the dudes today like hey guys um would a regular diverter just have worked a diverter on the coil and they said absolutely it would have worked but the problem was even after adding an additional coil driver board to the game they still ran out of room i mean there's still so many damn coils in this game that there literally was no more room to add a coil so to be able to add this effect a servo was how they did it so there you go there you go i'm saying hey my ball got trapped before the game was finally fine-tuned but what it didn't do was burst into flames i'm kidding man but man we're never gonna live that down man Dragon's Fire is going to be a thing. Hashtag Dragonfire. Now, listen, I bought a D&D LE. I can't wait to get it and play through that game with every single character and level them all up and do the Stern Pinball Cup Challenges 2.0. And I can't wait for D&D month where we can all focus on that and have the worldwide leaderboards and all that. Like, I'm in. Okay. But, like, come on. It's the Dragonfire game from now on. It's got to be, man. It's got to be. Embrace it. Live it. Love it. i'm getting some evil dead withdrawals though man um i know i had 35 games played as of the time of the live stream but since then i must have put another 70 in there including a game i absolutely blew this early code up holy crap 688 million points up to then a decent game for me maybe i get into two or three modes i finish one of them i do two multi balls you know like i really feel like you know i played for 10 minutes like i had a good game 50 million to 100 million points is kind of where I was coming in. And for a while, that's kind of right around where my GC was until I got this 688 million point game. Holy crap, man. Blowing my own horn. So what I ended up doing is I was playing on Evil Dead 1, which is where 80% of my gameplay has been. I'm trying to focus on all the Evil Dead 1. There's four modes in there. I'm trying to learn those. Then I'll go to Evil Dead 2 and learn all those, and then I'll kind of see which one I like better. But for right now, Evil Dead 1 is the one that I enjoy the most. um i got through each one of those modes completed them uh sometimes uh you know if you fail out of a mode you can go back into and continue where you left off so unlike ball one i was able to get through three of the modes and complete them i was like impressing even myself i was learning some of the shots both ramps are backhandable uh which really is very helpful i do love that um especially that right ramp i'm starting to hit it better now even from the left flipper uh and then i got uh all three of the multi balls plus a couple of them i got twice and i got two extra balls and so over my five ball game including my extra balls 688 million amazing i was having such a blast playing this damn game and like getting through the modes and all the ash call outs are just amazing um yeah i haven't noticed any issues i know jengis was asking me on we are pinball uh what the music is like and at that time i didn't have an answer for him because like it didn't really it didn't stand out one way or another but i played a few more games recently where i was focusing on listening to the music um and it sounds like the type of music it's playing in the background of a horror film you know and it's like you know consciously you don't recognize that music uh but it's really part of the whole mood and so i would say that the music uh isn't sticking out in a bad way it's not really sticking out in a good way it's just weaving itself into the whole vibe the thing that i do here is a lot of the sound effects um and they're awesome uh in the the god i forget the name of the mode uh but it's one of the evil dead one modes and the gist is you hit the the groovy drop targets and then the other three stand-up targets and every time you do i think it's hacked to bits uh you hack a body part off of this lady or whatever and every time you do that successfully the knocker goes off as well so it's a nice like visceral you know i hit a target boom there's a hack sound pop the knocker goes off i dig it man i dig it i'm gonna turn the power up on that knocker too so it's really just like knocking the crap out of things uh but yeah uh fun time so the music is not there in a very intrusive way it's a very kind of organic way and i really had to like actively listen for it to really pick up on it because it's just kind of in there in the background but it seems appropriate for like a horror themed game because it sounds like it's probably the music that plays in the background of scenes and things uh now what this game isn't as a music pin where like metallica where like the music is very much forward very much in the front of the teeth this is more of a back of a throat kind of thing a back of a slit throat if you would um but yeah so there's my comment on the music now that i've actively listened to it but i'm withdrawing i want to go play the game again um i've been playing evil dead exclusively the last week or so i haven't really i've turned on other games and haven't played them much i've really just been on evil dead and i want to get back into it so tomorrow you know i think my first stop after road trip probably gonna be over to play some evil deads now that i have mine at home i want to compare it to how it's playing with these ones here and then uh you know see if there's some new code updates and things maybe some beta code these guys are trying out can't wait to pinball on the beach man it starts tomorrow it's gonna be fantastic i'm here at the rum raisin or whatever the hell this hotel is called it's very much a everything is just absolutely florida here like everything you would think about florida uh it's kind of what we're dealing with here um i'm having a good time i i had some sort of banana drink and there was rum in it and it was fantastic so if i'm a bit all over the place i will blame it on the rum um and then we'll come in tomorrow with probably some live streams uh probably some content will be later in the evening uh because the show opens i think around four or five o'clock in the evening and then it goes late man like 11 p.m um and there's bonfires i think jersey jack is sponsoring one of them i'm gonna go grab a tire from the parking lot and i'm gonna have my own bonfire so come by the Don's Pinball Podcast, Tire, Burnin' Bonfire Extravaganza. That'll be going on to the beach. We're going to start at sundown, and we're going to go until they kick us off, or the fire marshal says to disperse. And here is your trespass warning.
