Short episode tonight, and please pardon the dishwasher in the background. Everybody's favorite noise. we had a friend over tonight and spent some time getting the game room in order it was still rather torn up from the return from New York actually I've been busily working on games and trying to get everything in top playing condition and have been neglecting you know, picking stuff up so So I went through today and cleaned up and everything is looking good But I went through and played all the games of course to see what new problems had developed
1:11
And everything was acting very well, except for Bounty. Now, I went to play that. It was immediately spotting the number 5. I said, hmm, I think I know what that is. And what I assumed and was correct about is that the game needs to be fully shopped. Now I had done a light shopping and fixing when I got it, but I hadn't done a full teardown on the game yet to make sure everything was working beautifully. So one of the units that I hadn torn apart yet was the magic screen unit And if the magic screen unit comes out of line or if one of the fingers is not making properly or is making across multiple rivets it will light a number that you haven't made. So in this case, on the default bingo card, it was the number 5. When you shifted a position to the left or to the right, it would change the number that was spotted. Now, I was able to kind of work this problem out just by playing the game for a little while, but in order to cure it completely, I need to take everything apart and clean it. So, just a note for those of you with Magic Screen Games, if you're seeing numbers spotted, and to my knowledge, no Magic Screen Games have a spotted number feature. If you're seeing numbers spotted, then likely you need to take your magic screen unit off and clean the rivets reinstall and inspect and make sure that multiple rivets are not being contacted at once Now, in order to do this, you have to reset the screen to the default position, and then mark your disk and mark the rivet disk as well as the wiper disk before taking it off. and from there you can clean as normal and lubricate.
