All right, so Avengers Infinity Quest. This is the newest title to come out of Stern Pinball, and I'm going to give you a brief rundown of what we're looking at so you can blow this game up when you finally get your hands on it. Let's get into it. So, we're looking at the premium here. What we have that's different on the premium than the pro, you have your Captain Marvel ramp. This thing is phenomenal. Your Sling Ring Doctor Strange disc actually comes up out of the playfield so you can shoot inside of it. Other things, I believe. This is just a target on the pro right here, but it actually falls into the play field here. Other things, but let's just show you rules-wise what you want to do to put up a high score on this. So you have your Avengers here. You got Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther. Every hero is associated with a shot on the play field. The Hulk, left orbit, which is actually spins. I'm going to start a game so you can actually see the screen on what's going to happen. Here's a fun little animation. We'll just skip through this. I'll let it play out. Your misplaced optimism amuses me. So he's happy with us, right? Thanos is our friend. The story is we're trying to make Thanos our best friend by giving him gems. I'm joking. So on the play field here, you can see there are three grayed out, I guess, badges on either side. On the left side, you have 80 sprints to collect. Hulk. one completion of the lanes down here to complete Iron Man, 50 pop bumpers to complete Captain America, three shots up this middle ramp to collect Black Widow, one completion of Thor multiball to collect Thor, and three all the way around orbit shots on the right in order to collect Black Panther. Collecting all of your heroes raises the sling ring. You put the ball in there. That's what starts the soul gem. We'll call it mini wizard mode. This is a wizard mode that involves limited flipping, meaning you're given a limited amount of flips, and as you flip, that counter is going down. When you hit zero, you're done. Draining does not end this mode. Draining simply takes five flips away from your mode. It's going to light periodically a green shot. You're going to hit it. If you hit it, it gives you eight flips. So we'll get there. I'll show you what it is when we're playing through it, but as you're hitting those shots, you're gaining flips to complete the modes. Something to point out is one of the harder shots, I believe, in that mode is you do have to shoot this mini loop here. Instead of having to shoot that, you could just clear the drops. It helps you out. Thor, pretty simple. Just hit the captive ball until Thor multiball starts. Iron Man, spelling the lanes here, and then shooting into the Avengers Tower for multiple locks for Iron Man multiball, you cannot move the in-lane lights. They're only moved and cycled by the Sling Ring, the Doctor Strange Ring here. What else are we looking at? Captain Marvel ramp, pretty fun. This ramp right here, which is a little bloated, right? It's a little thick with several Cs. It's hittable from all three flippers, left flipper, right flipper, and the upper flipper. That's also the ramp that you use when you finish the gem mode to collect that gem. To start your gem modes, and this is like the primary objective on this game, is hitting the spinning ring here, the spinning disc, until it spells strange. On the premium, the disc is going to come out of the play field, you shoot into it, you can select the mode that you want. On the pro, you're either going to shoot the Avengers Tower, or you're going to shoot the thick ramp. The gauntlet ramp. the thick ring. What else do we got? You will encounter a mode called Gamma Ray, which is all about beating the crap out of the spinner. You'll know when it's lit because the game goes ballistic. Alright? So we're going to play a little bit just to show you the ins and outs of what's going on. One last thing I will touch on is the bingo card here. If you'll look at the bingo card, you'll see a light cycling around. Alright? What you're trying to do is get three in a row. Bingo. you know and the rules to this work similar to how um walking dead uses its drop targets over here so as the light's bouncing around when it's on the light that you want to a shield for instance we want that hit any of the drop targets you hit one of them it'll stop the light on that insert okay to collect that insert you have to clear the drops pretty simple hit a drop to stop it clear it to collect it. Straightforward. And you can see what you're going to get for that tic-tac-toe, for that bingo, in the... I believe the info screen will show you what you're going to get. Just play it by ear. You know, roll the dice. Roll the dice. There's little chevrons around here that are associated with Hawkeye. Yeah, let's just play the game. We'll collect some gems, and we'll see what we can tell you about those. Okay. and then I'm going to do another like bladaladu, bladaladu. Yeah, Stern called it a bingo. Just one thing I'd like to point out is hitting the Captain Marvel ramp is what likes the mystery here on this right shot. On the pro, it's just going to be a target. On the premium LE, it actually falls into the subway and then kicks back out. Now, for the skill shots, you have a couple of options here. By short plunging up to the top and hitting the star rollover, that's your basic skill shot. It'll play a cool animation of Black Panther. There's like a super secret skill shot, though, similar to like how the shadow does it, where if you shoot up just before you hit this gate, it can roll back through this little inner loop, and that's going to immediately raise the sling ring so that you can shoot inside of it for a portal lock. What a portal lock does is it allows you to have a two-ball multiball when you're in a gem mode, and it doubles the scoring of that mode. You can also lock a second ball for portal locks before you go into a gem mode, and that'll give you three extra huge freaking points. But you've got to work for it. You know, you've got to work for it. And to get portal locks, it's all about combos and stuff, but this allows for a freebie to just knock it right in there. So we're going to try for the super secret skill shot. we are probably going to get the regular skill shot. There is a skill shot here with the Avengers Tower, but we're just going to short-cord you. Here we go. Alright, we're just going to get the regular skill shot. It's going to give us three second ball save and some points there. Alright, so objective number one, I would say, is to get into your first gem mode. So we're going to want to hit this disc until it spells strange. It's going to come up. We put the ball inside. Alright, portal's ready. And then you just flip right inside of there. Oh, it's round, so it spins. It gave it a little spin, a little ring. So now we get to what's going on. You don't get to know what the gem does, but you do get to know what you're going to be fighting. So reality gem quest, let's explain what happens here. You're Doctor Strange versus Ebony Maw. You can see some health bars here. You knock down the health by making the shots. To light the shots on this, you have to hit the disc first. We got a free little arc reactor shot there. You got to spin the disc first until it lights up all of the shots on the playfield. There you go. Everything's yellow. Now we just need to start hitting these shots. By the way, my left swing shot is the most sensitive thing on the face of the planet right now. I probably should have turned that down. There's one shot. You can see its health went down a little bit. There's some more health. Let's get control. There's some more health. Little spin. Whoa, the ball jumped up onto the rail. That was amazing. Okay. Control, please. Control. Mom, I'd love some control. All right. Anything yellow, anything yellow. So an early shot. The Black Widow shot's actually pretty early from a rolling shot, but it is possible. That was a shot on the fly, but there's a direct shot. All right, Ebony Maw's almost done here. Mere trickery. All right, I believe we need one more shot. Just so you know for this tutorial we do have a tilt bob installed. Anyone who says otherwise in the comments is a freaking liar. Alright, so we need one more shot and then we gotta shoot up the gem ramp to collect that gem. Easy peasy. Every gem collect is going to be the gauntlet ramp. Now you'll see every shot is lit up. Every shot is lit up with that colored gem. All right? What this means is the next shot we hit, that is where that gem is going to live. Once we make that shot, it'll tell us what that gem is going to do. I don't know where we want to put this. What are you feeling? Let's go right orbit. All scores are multiplied on that shot. Now, this is the gamma radiation mode, which I drained so you don't get to see what it does. There will be a cut there. Your dad owns a car dealership, so you... Okay. Alright, so that was a fun drain, right? Let's move on. We have placed our gem here on the right, which means every shot up this right orbit is going to be doubled. So if something important is over there, it's going to be 2x. All right, so let's get control here, and we'll try to use the sling ring to get into our next gem mode. Going for the secret. Ah, I didn't quite hit it. We'll get there. We'll get there. You'll see also on the screen, ooh, our bingo card is getting close to having a tic-tac-toe. There it is. So that gave us a portal lock, which is huge, because what this allows us to do is lock up a ball, and the next gem mode we get into is a 2X multiball, meaning 2X for the mode, and we get two balls. Huge, huge, huge. You got to be chill about shooting that thing. The way it just flings. Y'all, you're building me a portal to the alley in here. All right, here we go. Nailed it. Under the disc, it's actually angled down like this, so the ball, it's like a downward-facing ramp. It's actually pretty cool. Okay, we need that spring shot to not be a dork. All right, one more shot for Thor. We want to bring Thor into the mode that we're in so that we're getting, like, help progressing through the mode. So we're going to hit the spinner, hit the disc, put the ball in, select the mode, hit Thor. We'll have a multiball in there. Plus we're going to have the multiball from the portal shot. Huge. Here we go. The portal is ready. I'm sending you to the location of the star. Uh, arbitrary, we'll go Space Gem. Now, the way the Space Gem works is you have to alternate the right and left orbits back and forth. Okay? That's how you beat up Corvus. So we want the ball. All right, here we go. Perfect. So there's the horn. Now we have a two-ball multiball from the portal lock, and we have Thor going. So we have all the opportunities in the world to score big here. But some might say having a multiball actually gets in the way. There's that shot. I think it needed to go all the way around. When I say all the way around, I mean it has to go around the orbit and then up the little ramp. But it looks like it was fine the way it was. You can see the left orbit is crippled every once in a while, but Thor is sort of getting in the way here. All right, give me the ball, buddy. Yeah, drain. No one likes you. All right, here we go. So I nailed that first try. Plank attack. Plank attack. So I'm not sure what plank attack does. I do have Raymond Davidson in the chat. Ray, what does plank attack do? Now, for the Supergiant fight, you just gotta shoot a blue shot and then hit the spinner. And because we have a portal lock, we have a two-ball multiball, scores are doubled, and we brought four into the mix, so we're just going to have fun scoring some points. All right. Looking for another blue shot. Forward blinking. Where do we want to put it? Okay, there's the shot. Now we've got to hit the disc. I think that was enough. It's not.
