All right, everybody. Hey, Don's Pinball Podcast here, and I'm here to talk about a mod that I got from Rocket Flip Pinball. It's a replacement for this plastic piece in your Venom. Boom! Look at that. Full bugle building mod. Let's go. All right, so you got yourself a Venom, and you got these plastics in here that aren't quite bougie enough. So, fortunately, the mod community has come through. This is a collaboration between Flip Mods and Rocket City Pinball. Rocket Flip, they're calling themselves. It's the daily bugle building mod. It replaces that plastic at the back of the play field. It's a pretty simple two-piece process. They send you some screws, some bolts to go in there to put the whole thing in. It's an easy, simple install. So here's your stock plastic, right? And we're going to gussy it up. We're going to gussy it up right now. We're going to go through the whole install process. Now, there's a bolt or nut on the back of the bolt on the top. Get yourself a quarter-inch nut driver. Throw it on there. Take that guy off. I had no problems doing this. It took me just a few minutes. If you haven't already, pick yourself up one of these little magnetic trays from Harbor Freight. They're like $2.99, and they're indispensable when you're working with stuff like this, man. It just magnetically holds on to your nuts and bolts. They don't go rolling all over the place, and it doesn't damage the play field. I love it. Be like me. Get yourself one of these. and don't be like old me that was losing bolts all over the place. So we just pulled these guys off. There's three of them. Drop them in the tray. Couldn't be simpler. And that guy, boom, he's out of there, leaving the light board back here with three spacer mounts. Essentially, you just sandwich the two pieces together and bolt them on in, man. Two bolts at the bottom, and then that bolted nut at the top. Yeah look at that Screw it in baby Get it tight Get it tight This ain going nowhere balls get out of here air balls you ain destroying this there that nut up at the top there all right boom thanos big reveal check that out all the light transmits through there it lights up all the different modes look at this beautiful thing a nice little building back there instead of that shiny stock plastic here's some other mods i threw in here it's a don's pinball podcast spinner It's not hooked up to anything, but dang it if it ain't fun to play with. I got the Taco Bell building, so Flipmods did this for me. This is his building you can order. I got the Taco Bell version because I wanted to be a little insane. This is clever. This is clever. Rocket City Pinball got this little mirror so you can see when the insert's lit without the badonkadonk in the way there. Also comes with this little deflector panel that you can install so that little dangly bit doesn't get stuck in the shooter lane. Rocket City start buttons, man, you know that I love them. Check out Flip Mods did the shooter rod I love it, feels good in the hand Got a cool shooter plate And there you go man, Venom in it's final form Check out this modded beast Those art blades, are you feeling it? Alright, here's some gameplay, you can check it out Get some spinner action going There's the light up there For the carnage multiball coming through And yeah, just some sweet Venom gameplay This game's really grown on me The time that I've had it I like the mods that I put in there Anytime I can replace a stock plastic with something molded, you know, it's got some functionality, all the better, man. So yeah, I'm digging it. Get you one of these. I'll put the link in the description down below.
