We have uh a Venom Alled Zeppelin X-Men as well. uncanny X-Men, but you also have uh a King Kong and what everybody is gravitating around is the Evil Dead, which is they only made sort of 700 of these games. Um I don't know if you can might be able to lift the camera up so people can see it, Spencer. Look, you can see that magnificent topper up there. And yeah, you what? Yeah, that's it there. So people are really really gravitating towards this game. Um Neil's brought this. Wasn't expected to see it here at all. And the one the one thing the one thing I didn't know about that game is that it's actually a wide body.

So yeah, there you go. Pinfest the UK's only dedicated pinball event. All machines free play. Well, that's not strictly true because uh a couple of them here are for charity and and it is worth mentioning that last night both Kong and Evil Dead were both on charity play and raising money for saroma which is uh we lost Allan this year as a massive part of the pinball community and that was unfortunately he passed away due to saroma. raising money for that and uh and Neil was policing people last night. He was charging him charging him a tenner to play the game and stuff like that. He's raised so much money last night which is really really great. So um right onwards and upwards. Um we're it's important to note at the moment we're just getting ready. So we're probably 20 25 minutes away from Pinfest officially opening which is why you'll see some machines not switched on. But it's also a really good time for us to be able to walk around and show you so we before we we're getting in the way of people that are doing competitions. Um, Blipper Football. I'm going to have a go on this later. This looks really interesting.

Um, we can see through the glass there, but yeah, that's that's an interesting play field.
Now, the open competition is different this year because we we got a completely different location right next to the toilets. Actually, in case anybody gets a little bit nervous before it, we got some really nice trophies. These these packing there. Um, these light up as well. They look really good. Wayne's actually made these and I think they've done a great job. Uh, I'll be picking that up later, obviously. Um, let's calling it AC/DC Hell's Bell. The idea, the thinking was that in the main room where basically everybody play, all the machines are on free play, there was always going to be so so much going on there. The tournament always used to happen in that same room. Particularly when you got to the end of the tournament. It used to get really packed in there and particularly towards the end of the day on the Sunday when the knockout rounds are there, when the finals are going, it all gets tense and everyone gathers round. So, we've got a purposebuilt haven't built the room on purpose. We got a we got a conference room in here. There's Elsa. We'll be We'll be seeing Elsa. Ladies winner.

Yes. Um so it's now down here in this wonderful conference room and this is where all the amazing stuff will be happening when the competition really hots up. So this is the Saturday today. So qualifying is open. Uh I think up until about 5:00 today, something like that. And it's just a much better area because it compartmentalizes the competition away from, you know, the serious stuff, away from the the social stuff really. Uh, which is pretty cool. Uh, let's take a look at the games and we'll see what's um what people are playing this year. So, the lineup is No Fear. And if if the lineup is the same as it usually is in qualifying, you choose what three games you play. You pick three games out this lineup and then it will extrapolate a score for you and um and then you see if you can qualify for I might have this wrong the last 30 32 something like that. Uh Metallica John Wick is a tough game and I think probably a very good game for competition because they're going to be slow and Wayne sets these games up really really tough actually which is which is right. You want short for competition you want short games. You don't want anybody on a game for hours on end. Um, Godzilla, King of the Monsters. Um, now actually, if you have a look here, you've got I think Wayne has printed that up on his 3D printer. He sells this stuff actually. And I think he might have even done There you go. this wonderful magnet there, which I think looks really cool. Um, so yes, I mean, this could be a game that everybody knows anyway. Willy Wonka. There's a screen at the back of the room and that's going to be displaying everybody's scores and people watching it, seeing what everybody else is doing, seeing what they need to do. Do they need to put in another ticket? have another have another three games to try and push themselves up on the leaderboards to get to the get to the qualifying. There's some good prize money as well. Some really really good prize money. I'm not going to say what it is because I don't know, but I think it's, you know, it's couple of thousand pounds over that. it's worth playing for.

Second place 50, 25, and then a tenner. The remainder of the proceeds from this game are going into the prize pot for the classics competition, which is a second another tournament. There's lots of tournaments, lots of stuff going on here. When you come to Pinfest, you can play in tournaments or you can just just enjoy yourself and play. This has become quite competitive. So late last night, probably about 11:00 p.m. last night, uh, Craig put up 9 million on it. 9 million.

And this hall now is uh because they've moved the tournament downstairs, it's allowed for a little bit more space in the hall. So there's just more space between the games. And also what it's allowed everybody to do is just remove the tournament which is serious stuff you know really very very serious stuff. It's taken it out of here. So in many respect this is the this is a silly area and the serious stuff is uh is done downstairs if you pardon the expression.
