The inspiration for this post comes from the latest episode of the Eclectic Gamers Podcast. In it, Dennis and Tony did their annual year-end review where they look at all of the statistics for how their podcast did last year. I've never really done anything like that for anything Knapp Arcade-related before so I thought that it might be an interesting exercise (to me at least lol). So without further ado, here we go. Over the past year, the Knapp Arcade website received 229,300 visits, up 1,340% year-over-year. That number consisted of 92,314 unique visitors, up 568% with an average visit length of 7 minutes and 27 seconds. I mainly use the website to post longer-form original content and leave the daily links and smaller posts to Facebook... Traffic on the Knapp Arcade Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KnappArcade/), which has been around a lot longer, did not grow nearly as rapidly as the website did, but it did earn a number of new followers. The Knapp Arcade Facebook page, the OG of of the family of sites, is now up to 10,376 Followers, though somehow only 9,441 of those people actually "Like" the page lol. Last but not least, we have the Knapp Arcade Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/knapparcade/). I mainly use Instagram to share the arcade or pinball "Picture of the Day" so to speak...one picture of a machine from a number of angles that I've taken in my travels to arcades across the country. The Instagram account isn't as old as the Facebook page is and its growth hasn't been as rapid. It's up to 6,877 Followers now. Despite its slow growth, I've always enjoyed photography so I really like taking pictures of games and sharing them with people on Instagram.
