Characters do a lot of things, and some of them have negatives. I'm just going to go over the ones that are really, really good. So let's start with Salazar. He's fine if He's fine if you drain your balls on multiball or you just want to practice multiple a lot, then he's good Otherwise, not that great Really quick Dirty Tails wants to know how you go about getting a sim card in this Well first you hit the electric guy And then you hit the phone scoop. Okay, okay And then you don't do the mo you just hit big bang Because, let's be real, dialed in... Just about to take that. Just get the big man. It's probably a train. And then your, your, your sunglasses. Oh my god, that is so good. I forgot how amazing this was. Light Shine Radler. Oh yeah, yeah. It is not quite as sweet as, uh, I'm interrupting again. Excuse me, excuse me. I keep doing it, I'm sorry. Let's chat about beer. Talk about beer on the phone. from Ten Barrel called Swill, which is an amazing, light, very sweet beer, almost like a shandy, but a little bit more, I don't know, like bold to it. It tastes a little bit more like real beer. And this is that same thing, but toned down. I feel like it's not quite as sweet, which to me makes it way more drunk. Anyway, so this is Light Shine Rattler by Whibby Brewing. And they're in Boulder, I think. I went to a Whibby festival, which was, I think, my favorite festival of this year. It was a festival where it was like 100 and some odd degrees outside, and they had nothing but, uh, you ordered all of your beers and did everything inside of, uh, like, waiting pools. So they had these massive, like, building-sized waiting pools, and everybody was just, like, walking around with their, like, flamingo things, but the water's only to here. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, and it was awesome. It was so fun. Alright, quick thing. Alright, quick character overview. Let's just go over the real important one. That's, uh, Vlad Beard, longer multiball saver. Uh, I think he adds ten seconds to your multiball saves, which can be a long time, especially when every multiball in this game stacks. So you can start one sec- We are grrr- we just like, the internet's dying on us right now. Sorry, one sec. Oh no. We'rerrrrr... Going wildly, we're at 6,000, but it still thinks it's red. Can you guys hear us okay? Stream dropped hard for sure. Okay, we're back to green. Ish. Okay, I think we're good. Please continue. Alright. Uh, yeah, so Blackbeard, pretty solid. I think it's plus 10 seconds on your multiball save. Uh, and when you can start multiball after multiball, it can last James Norrington probably the best character to get through chapters he makes it so that when you try to make a shot you can hit the two shots that are adjacent so if I try to hit either one of these ramps I can make the 4x or the 2x for the maelstrom ramp or I can hit the 3x or the 5x for this guy makes modes a lot easier but he does have your scores on chapters Hector Barbosa Barbossa, same thing as Norrington, except for multiball jackpots. For multiball jackpots, uh... I'm not holding this entire time. Apparently, you're very quiet. Okay, uh... For Barbossa, same as Norrington, for multiball jackpots, you can hit the adjacent switch and it'll count, except I think he makes your jackpots one quarter, maybe one half, but maybe one quarter. Uh, Pintel's not bad, he likes most of your pirate lanes, uh, and you can get a lot of crazy rewards in here, the good ones are add a ball, extra ball, uh, our friends the liars dice, all these cool modes that, that help you out. Uh, Tia Dalma, She is the best character to pick if you're going for wizard mode. She lets you pick your chapters. I won't get into too much detail with chapters just because they're not worth a lot. Rigetti is just interesting. You can add a ball by holding down the action button when the ball is on the black pearl. However, his negative is that he halves your scores while there's two balls when you do that, including if you enter a multiball afterwards. And that's really it for the interesting characters. Everyone else has a small bonus, like a lot of points in certain modes. This character shouldn't get picked in this unless they're cowards. If you pick this you cannot be plundered, but you also can't plunder. I'm not going to hold this. Alright, I'll just talk closer to the mic. Alright, let's pick a character. character, if you hold the left flipper and hit right five times very quickly, you can choose random. Alright, skill shots! I missed them. So skill shots are, you can train the ball. So the first skill shot is to drop it into these pops, you get a plus one to your level. The next one is to just plunge it into the ship up here and it'll increase like the multiball thing. Don't worry about that. And the last one is to shoot it all the way around and then make it into the map shot. If you hit the loop on accident, every loop you make adds 5,000 points and then you still get the map. Once again, not a lot of points. Doesn't really matter. The biggest thing that I want to go over is the multiball stuff. So there's six multiballs in this game, and one for each movie, and then there's the Tortuga multiball right here. And I guess I'll go over the layout of the game real fast. So we have a scoop right here, not important, the ball usually comes out of here whenever it goes in the subway. There is a spinner shot to the left here, this is not an orbit, this goes up and around and comes right back down or it can fall into the subway down here and come out on the left. Left ramp goes up and around and it can also go into the whirlpool and go down and then come out the depths as well. Left orbit is right here, this will go around to the right orbit on this side of the ship. You have a chest shot, if you like the chest with these two shots here and then shoot it up it will go into the chest otherwise it will come around and down the left orbit and It's actually a great way to get the ball to the upper flipper. In the middle is the star map shot. That's how you start chapters. The ball will get trapped up there. A magnet will grab it, and it will hit it around, and it will randomly select a chapter based on the last which it hit. There's a map shot underneath the ship. I don't think you guys can see it very well. It's right here. you can spell math and then you make it in the hole and then you get a mystery reward and that's where all the plundering happens can you bump chests? can you bump chests? oh do you mean like a chest bump? they can there's an inner loop right here from the upper flipper it's a great shot you can do a lot of combo shots from that over and over and over and then there's a right over here the ball can go up to the black pearl in two ways. One, you can go right up the ramp, and the other way is behind the ship on the right orbit is a buck. If the ball's moving slow enough, then it will get shot up and through the back and into the ship. All right. That's a lot of talking. We'll finish this. Let's see it then. All right. Gold is right here. This is kind of important. When you hit gold, gold appears on the screen, you mash the action button, you collect gold. You can also get gold by completing chapter mode shots. The bigger combo you get before you hit that gold, the more gold will appear on the screen and the best way to do that is to hit this inner loop a bunch of times and then just hold the tupper flipper and it should bounce right into that gold and then it will spawn a ton of gold. Gold is used for the katuga multiball and once you hit 50 gold you make it into this saucer right here and it will start katuga multiball, which is just a bunch of jackpot shots and then collect on the saucer. After you do that, it costs another 50 gold to start it again, so it'll cost 100 gold, then 150, then 200. What goals are up on the ship? You said upon, but I think you meant up on the ship. Yeah, so I'll start with the multi-balls, and that is really the multiball for Curse of the Black Pearl. There are some other things up there. I'm not going to worry about them, because I don't I don't actually know what they do uh so on the black pearl you have two spinners I don't think the stream can see those oh yeah they can you can kind of see them uh when you hit the spinners the strip lights will slowly turn green and once they turn green load cannon will will uh light up there's one right there and there's one there you hit either one of those and the gate to to light the cannon will open up and then you have to put a ball in there but this is the uh The ship moves more violently the longer you have a ball in that playfield. So once you put a ball into the cannon, you have to shoot the other ship on the left by hitting the middle action button. There's a hole maybe about this big that you have to get the ball into. I would say it's like 50-50, but you can time it and get it every time. Once you do that, you make it up the left orbit and you will start Black Pearl Multiball. Dead Man's Chest is the chest right here. This is the classic hit switches to light lock, and then put the ball up there. And once you do three balls, you start Dead Man's Chest multiball. At World's End, there's giant arrows all across the board. You can see this blue one up here that is lit. When you make a shot, that arrow will turn red. It's like Fellowship of the Ring multiball in Lord of the Rings. You have to make all of the red shots or light all the red arrows and then it will be lit on the maelstrom Entree your tides is you hit the inner loop here I think seven times six or seven times and then it'll just light there That's that's a two ball multiball And then dead men tails no tails Dead men tails is the spinner shot right here. I think you need something along the lines of 50 spins to like that. And then you just make the shot again, and it starts. Hi, Dice. And then chapter shots. Did you work on the game? Up here on the screen, there's cannons and skulls. the cannons mean that your chapter for a movie is qualified. To qualify a movie, you just hit that movie's shot. And you'll see them on here, the purple, red, yellow, green, and blue. And then you hit the star map shot, and the ball will get trapped up there with a magnet. It'll hit a bunch of random stuff, and the last one it hits is the movie chapter that you get. it kind of sucks getting to wizard mode with that method because it's random when you have a wizard mode where you need to complete five chapters and that movie's multiball it takes a lot of time to get to them but once you start a mode like that I will start one if I can the mode will have a bunch of characters listed and those characters are tied to a shot. And you just make those shots and then you complete the mode. It's really simple. It's kind of, it's not really exciting. Because they're not worth a lot of points. But that's how you get to your Wizard Mode, right? That is how you get to Wizard Mode. And the more characters you get, the higher your Wizard Mode is worth. So like this, I need to make two map traps and the right orbit. You can make them in any order. And yeah, a lot of times you don't even know you're in a chapter. Okay, and that's about it. Best strategy is start one multiball, and you will just go into all the other ones by playing a multiball, and they all stack. And is there an easy way to restart? Do we do the left flipper thing? If you get the chance to play a Tron, definitely do it. It's fun. It's got... There's a decent amount going on. It's not deep. You can hit the wizard mode pretty easily. So in that sense, it's a little bit like Munsters, where it's about maximizing your score, I guess, before you get to the wizard mode. But it's awesome. The movie was only so-so. I don't think the movie was great. It wasn't awful. And it's got Olivia Wilde on the cover. It's Daft Punk, who I absolutely love Daft Punk. And it has the, I feel like, a similar flow to X-Men, which I love. And then add to all of that, like, every singletron you've ever seen is pimped out. Don't eat the eggs.
