Patreon Time! Hello once again, Don Garrison's Pinball Podcast is back with its wrecks, with its effects, ready to entertain you, the Patreon few. But hopefully, hopefully that'll grow. What's going on everybody? It's Saturday, let's get spectacular here. So I alluded to this a little bit online and such, but daddy bought a couple of games and I thought best to reveal them to you guys as well as like the context behind it. Because my whole thing has been I'm out of room. I'm out of room, a little bit of money left over, but you know the room is tight. So it's true, things can't come in without things going. And I thought well let's do a little chat time with Don and I'll maybe I'll try to explain The reasoning behind the mania that we get into here at District Dawn Arcade. We're like Kevin Owens in Trochee playing here. It's kind of a jam and it's relevant to the discussion. So where do we start? Okay, so there's two games coming in. I'm going to let that keep going. There's two games coming in here. They're both games that have been on the list of games that I would like to own at some point. You know things like you know if you ever you know like I don't know you go to an arcade you're like I played a place Toy Story 4 and I had a great time on it. I'm like you know what? You know I'm not gonna rush out like looking to track this game down right now But if I happen to come across one at some point and it's like home use only and the price is really good like I Kind of don't think I'd mind owning it so it was that kind of situation So listener reached out because they knew that I was looking at some point at some point no rush All of these games are pretty much the same, but at some point, pick it up a Munsters premium black and white edition and I get what you're saying. Munsters, eh, the game is not busting down any doors. This isn't like the most desirable game. But similar to Black Knight Sword of Rage, I think it came out at a time where, you know, it didn't wow people over, the market wasn't completely nuts, and so not that many were bought, and so not that many exist. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. G İn trajectory Making money where I want it to be The Black and White Monster Games, just right there, you know the horror themed games? The kitschy kind of television fun games? And so I'm like, dang man, well shoot. At the same time this is happening, right? Because anything in isolation, this probably wouldn't work. But Daniel Brown, this guy in Ohio that I met when I first started the podcast, he reached out, he was new, he wanted to know about how do I buy a pinball machine. Now he's got like ten games. He's been bugging me about buying my Godzilla. Kind of tongue in cheek, you know, like, hey, You know you really want to sell me that Godzilla, right? And I'm thinking, no, it's Godzilla, are you kidding? It's completely modded out and everything. Well, he finally wore me down. At the same time that was going on, people are just dumping Godzilla premiums. And there are so many on pin side available. People are rocked by this rumor that the black and white Godzilla is coming out. Something that, you know, I'm not terribly interested in. But, if I were to, I am interested in these monsters. So, I've played, now, Godzilla's great, But I've played the heck out of it, you know, and I just don't play it as much anymore. So I'm thinking, why is this thing taking up residence here? I could offload it to this guy and, like, do a homey, a solid, and then I could come back with this game that I'm kind of looking for, and at least the next six to eight months can be more fresh and playing more games, you know, and be more enthusiastic about this new game. Get some time on Munsters, especially the black and white one. And not only that, it's got pin stadiums, it's got speaker lights, it's got a shaker Lyman is a parody of the Sega Genesis & Nintendo while some other Ax Commission Also notice thatでき makes a fight mill in their third game in the game, both Ak Feuerweider & их And then I could always pick up another one down the road if I totally regret it, right? I don't think it'll be hard to do. So I was in that kind of mind frame and then what comes creeping through the Facebook posts as I'm scrolling? But Carolina Pinball posts this game that's also kind of been on my list for a lot of reasons. There's not a lot of people's lists. Not something you would have thought about, Don, you're gonna buy this game. But it was something I was keeping my eye out for. This game, the reason I'm playing this music, Stern Spike One, WWE WrestleMania Limited Edition Sports themed, but you know, of course the matches are predetermined and the storylines are written and everything, so it's quote fake, right? So superficially, yeah, it's completely stupid. But if you look under the layer, there's a lot that's going on here. It's almost like watching politics, right? You know, because there's like the superficial things on the surface, the storylines and everything, and it's kind of like the NASCAR level. But if you dive deep beneath that, it's like there's intrigue, there's betrayal, you know, there's promoters working over their fighters. They're all imitating The Rock and stuff. And I'm like, this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. You guys are adults. How can you be into this? And then, you know, 15 years later, I'm like, okay, I get it now. I didn't get it then. I get it now. Right? Okay. So not only that, but the limited edition version of this game comes replete with these classic wrestlers, right? Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, you know, the whole bit. And it's got the gold trim because, of course, it does. Blimey! What's appearing on the TMP main screen super ultra mainstream thatBlimey's father was lost with. That's all right, that's all right! Martin Andrzejczyk, Cr Привет Films Rodrigo Muñoz, Your Needed Doctor Asso publi 주는 inflation and still you have to watch until December Christ the 50mega some two weeks soon as we move to not The Munsters Facade House has been made over into everything over the years. It shows up all the time in commercials. Whenever you're watching something for insurance or something and some guy's walking through a neighborhood, it's usually on that road. It's that road right there. You see the Munsters House right in the background. I'd leave it to Beaver's House there and the gazebo from Gilmore Girls and all this crap. It's all filmed to the same little facade street. The Street is less than a sixth of a mile long, and all these shows have been filmed there. So anyway, it's kind of fun. It's kind of fun. So I've got this, you know, a lot of little things that all add up to, I wouldn't mind having this game in my lineup for six months, eight months, maybe a year, just to play the crap out of it, mod it, have some fun with it, have some friends come by. Monsters with Insider Connected is not easy to find. It took me a long time to be able to track these down. Galloping Ghost had one. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. There's two ramps and a bash toy, there's a cool spot the dragon pops up from the stairway and stuff. But it's monsters, man. It's monsters. To just have the game for a bit, play it, and then get it on to someone else at a good price at some point, I think that's something that would be worthwhile. So that's where my head was at for that. So here's the deal, I'm going to Ohio to pick up a couple of shifts like I do. This dude with the Munsters is directly on my path. I don't even have to veer off the turnpike hardly at all to swing down and pick this up. And then my next stop is in Cleveland to go drop off Godzilla with this other guy. And then when I come back, I can head down to Southern Fright Gaming Expo and come back with a WWE gold-plated LE autographed by Hulk Hogan. The game that also I wouldn't mind playing at some point, it's barely been played, man. And this game is you know an older game by my standards and you know is still fairly new So if it all checks out I think I okay with this I think I okay with this So that where I at So Don, you're selling Labyrinth, you're selling Jaws Premium, you're selling Godzilla Premium, and you're picking up Munsters and WWE. Have you lost your mind? Maybe. But it kind of made some sense to me. So I want to put this out there. I just recorded WAP episode 3 with Cengiz. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Robert Pettersson, The music is so thumping, man, I love the game. You know how he does. So, you know, that kind of got me hyped too. You know, so at the same time that I was like, you know, I don't hate this game. I kind of really like the theme in like a, what do you call it? Like this is my dirty secret, but dirty crush, you know, filthy habit. You know what I mean? Guilty pleasure. Yeah, it's a total guilty pleasure. Like I know I shouldn't like this as much as I do. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. I'm like, damn it, this guy's right, you know? He's having a great time playing pinball. He's authentic, and, like, that's how I am, too. Like, I'm having fun as well. The other part of this, okay. Don, you're selling Jaws Premium, you're selling Godzilla Premium, you're thinking about selling Labyrinth, and you're buying things like John Wick LE and WWE LE and Munsters. What is wrong with you? The Wally Williams Show, Knapp Arcade, Bally Williams, Straight Down the Middle, Bally Williams, I gotta clear some room up still. I'm actually thinking of selling my Star Wars topper to a buddy of mine that just picked up a Star Wars premium. Yeah, that's the other thing. I'm keeping Star Wars premium. I'm not selling that game. No, no, no, no, no. But, you know, you want to have a blood red kiss? We could talk. We could talk. I have to have it for a little bit, though. Just so I can have the monsters black and white next to it. Okay, so, sorry. Rambled a bit as the kids walked down. But wanted to do a little Patreon exclusive about, like, what's actually going on, like, the reasoning behind me. Am I completely off base? The Wally Winka Show, Knapp Arcade, Bally Williams, Straight Down the Middle, Bally Williams, www.willywonka.com But that's kind of where I'm at with these two new games. Am I completely nuts for doing this? Or is there some method to this madness that makes sense? Let me know. But when I think of things I'm selling like Godzilla, just stellar, like Jaws, just amazing, I'm thinking, okay, how easy is it to get another one of these games if like I completely regret it in four months? I'm like, man, I never should have sold that. I think I can walk right out and grab another Jaws. I could walk right out and get another Godzilla pretty much anywhere and even maybe even better than the ones that I'm selling. But when it comes to picking up a Munsters black and white that's in the right condition, the right location, I don't have to pay shipping. Go and look for one of those. There are not a lot of them out there. And then, you know, at a great price too. And then go take a look at a WWE LE and try to find one of them. Again, like in a stellar condition for a good price, they just don't come up that often. So, although these games may not be lauded on the pin side rating scale as high as the ones I'm selling, in terms of like just finding that little jewelry crust in there, you know, they're a little bit difficult. And so everything just kind of happened to work out that in the same time that I'm driving out here, I can go deliver a game, pick up a game, and then I'm going to be at this expo anyway, www.subsidiary.com We'll see you next time. www.willywonka.com The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Maybe later today if I can think of enough interesting things to talk about. We'll see what Knapp Arcade happens to drop for us. Thanks everyone. I'll recycle this outro music because it was already programmed in my button. So yeah, let's have fun. Comment down below. I do love responding to the comments on the Patreon.
