I had no idea what that really meant. But, yes, Pinberg tickets, they went on sale. How did you do with your VIP first? Okay, yeah. So, okay. For those who don't know, Pinberg is the largest tournament on the planet. And they did this thing where they had, was it 50? 50. They did. They had like the main on sale was Saturday, this past Saturday. I guess I should say what date, depending on how long it takes me to edit this stupid thing. Yeah, Saturday the 23rd at 12 a.m. 12 p.m. Eastern Time, they released. It was going to be the main. But before that, at 11 a.m., they were going to have 50 VIP tickets. And, Bruce, what does the VIP experience give you? Because I don't have that in front of me. A special lanyard. Okay. An hour to get in beforehand the show. Before the show. Okay. Like what they did at California Stream all the time. And a special seating area. Oh-ho. Which is the most important thing, I thought. So are they like super cushy seats? I don't know. They have a guard in front of them saying, like, where's your pass if you go to go in that area? The knights who say neat.

And so, Ron, what's your wait list place? No, I got in. Oh, okay. Me too. Yeah. And I used a little cheats to get in. Little cheats to get in. Yep. Well, what's the little cheats? I hooked in. I hardwired right into the back of the modem. Okay. That's not really a cheat, but yeah. That does help. I thought you were going to say you were using your bot network to like. No, no, no, no.

    Turned off everything in the house. that was network draining network draining yes i gotcha and i turned everything off on my computer in the background except for just a couple basic things okay well yeah you kind of had my paranoia level what i did oh my god what i did was i have i just built a streaming pc which we'll get more into that but it's like the fastest machine in the house by far it's like ridiculous power and i have it down in level zero in the basement i have it hardwired you know for the streaming so what i did is basically what you did i made sure everything was off that might uh you know use network except my phone and i it's funny i have a wired mouse hooked up to it but i was i was gonna put a wireless mouse on it and i still am going to but i was thinking like you know what what happens if this wireless mouse dies right at the point of clickage yep yeah so i've had the wired mouse on there and your hand on f5 hand on f5 i was using chrome um i have one extension i use for chrome which is an ad blocker i turned it off just in case yep and yeah just started f5 in it and i I thought I lost it, though, because it came up. I put two tickets in for me and my dad, right? And then you go to the screen where the checkout button is. I hit the checkout button. It says, you must select an insurance option. Oh, I know. It's like, oh, shit. Like, fuck. Boom. I immediately clicked that, hit it, and I'm figuring, like, I'm fucked. Yep. The next train is going to come up. But no, it came up like, ah. I had my 15 minutes. But even then, I'm still nervous as fuck. It is more nerve-wracking. Get it done as fast as you can. Well, no. You don't have to. You have 15 minutes. No, if you lose the internet, you're screwed. Well, that's true. No. But I was like, it is far more nerve-wracking than any – it was more nerve-wracking than the Pinnberg I won. It's more nerve-wracking than any tournament I've ever been in. I'll tell you that. I agree. But the funny thing is I saw all these people that said they tried to buy their ticket and their Pinnberg ticket. Why would you do that? Fail. That's a fail. Because most of them fail. You just go for that. You can always go back and get that. Yeah. There are certain things like if you're going to go on a trip, get the hotel as soon as you can if it's cancelable. That's the first thing you look at because the hotel rooms went on available earlier in the week. Yes, they did. And I guess the Drury sold out or close to sell out, and then the Omni I think still has rooms. I got the Omni. Yeah, I got the Drury. I actually got the Omni this time. What does that tell you? Moving on up in the world. Moving on up. So I got the Drury. I think that's how you say it. and the first thing I look at, what's the cancel policy? Okay, within 24 hours, fine, great. So boom, I had that set, even though I don't know if I'm even getting into Pinnberg. Then you go for Pinnberg. Then you wait because you never know what could happen. Life can suck sometimes. It can. And you may need to cancel.

    So I usually wait until like probably a week before I'll actually get the actual show tickets. That's the way I do it. But, I mean, man, there was a lot of pissed off people. They did it differently. Last year, they did the deal where, like, if someone went to get a ticket and they didn't, like, finish the checkout process, it went back into the pool. So, like, 15 minutes. So, like, at 12.15, if you started refreshing, more tickets would become available. Yes. They changed it this year, which I think was a good idea. They basically changed it so, like, say you didn't get in. You're waitlisted. You enter your shit in. You're on the wait list. Then as the tickets become available, you get an email saying, congratulations, you're next on the wait list. You have 48 hours to buy this ticket.

    And that's the way they did it. It seemed to be a better way. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. But, I mean, still people were – Livid. Livid about, yes, usually the ones that didn't get in. And I see it, but it's like, you know, this is supposed to be for everyone. You know, they need more people, which the Papa people said, like, no. So it's impossible. Yeah. And it's like it's a lottery. I heard that a lot. It's basically a lottery. It's all chance whether you get in or not. Well, some people didn't get in in the beginning. Well, yes. And I would love to see the stats. The most tickets you can buy at once is five. Yes. And last year, I think they only had either zero or maybe one purchase of five. There's going to be significantly more than that this year. Yes. I know for a fact of multiple people who basically got five tickets to see who didn't get in and then just added their names and then they're in. Yep. I mean, that would be a great use of Discord for those who don't know what that is. I mean, it's basically Skype, but it's better. It's used mostly by a lot of gamers use it. So basically you have like five of your buddies. You all get each other's info, your name, email address, IFPA number, which we'll have to talk about that. You get all this information together, and then all five of you just pound the site at 12, say like one of the five gets in. They put all five people's information in. Boom, done. Or if like two of five get in, have one put all five in, make sure it goes through, and then maybe you message other people, hi, I got like a – I got three or four minutes. Give me your info. Yeah, give me your info. Now, what they did this year is because they got sick of trying to find everyone's IFPA number. That's why it takes so long to submit Pinberg to IFPA. They made that like a requirement when you signed up for your IFPA number. Which crashed IFPA. Which crashed IFPA's site because everyone was just pounding their site trying to get their IFPA number, and it killed it. Yes, it did. I actually saw the numbers from that. Yes, there was a website. That's how it spiked. Oh, my God. But I'd like to thank Steph, the pinball princess. Thanks to her, I know my number. Yes. Because on her letters, she always has her player number. So I just looked up my – I wonder what my player number is, and it's ingrained in my head. So is my father's number. We're 365 and 364. He's 364. He's ahead of me for some reason. Well, he's better than you. That's true. So what's your number? 671. So mine's easy. So I just, you know, six and one on the outside equals seven in the middle. Very good. I'd love to have, like, 420 would be a cool one. 69, 690, anything like that. Or the single digits like all the famous guys have. Yeah. But, yeah, that's what some people are doing. It's like, I couldn't get to this site, so I just put, like, one. Yeah. Keith Elman's going to be getting points for multiple people. Yeah, multiple people.

I think for Papa, it's a constant battle because they're the professional and amateur pinball association. It's a battle between the professionals and amateurs. Who will win? And there's a lot of people I know that did not make it in. Local people, Bob and Andy and Jason. I still think they're in. And Brad. The thing is, if you got in the wait list immediately, you're in. I'm sorry. They went last year. What did they go up to the wait list? Like 150. It was ridiculous how high up they went in the wait list. And a lot of these people are going to drop out. there were people who were waitlisted yesterday that were within like 15 minutes they're getting emails like congratulations you know i know why i know why also because some people i know booked five tickets with their name on four of them thinking they could transfer them no that's you can't do that you know that and why would they think they can do that i don't understand they didn't read the rules even if you don't read the rules does anyone think that that they would let you do that. No, I don't. But yeah, I to me, that's a common sense thing. Oh, no, we just lost some listeners. What else is new? OK, so we're down to 12 again. Yeah, it's my fault again. That's my fault. It's usually not my fault. Usually your fault. Yeah, but this time it's yours.

    You know, there are those games that I really like, and it's a rare thing. You really like a game. You get it. and then you end up liking it even more. And that's what's happening with Lethal Weapon 3. Oh, yeah. Told you. The rule set is so awesomely balanced. It just needs some tweaks, I think, to be a good tournament game. Like the random Leo Awards.

    What Leo wants, Leo gets. It has to be made non-random. The fight scenes starting needs to be non-random, because I can't figure out. Every once in a while when you hit it in the saucer, you get the fight thing. I'm running the pre-Williams is going to sue us ROMs. So it has the multiball and it has the cow in the video mode, which that is also not fair because the cow gives you a million no matter where he is. So someone would complain about that. They lost by, you know, like a couple thousand points or something.

    And it's buggy. I've had at least two instances where I've been like out of multiball, but it still thinks I'm in multiball. Oh, wow. And it makes no sense because it's not a switch issue because the second you drain, it knows the ball's over. It knows the turn's over. You know what I mean? It's not like the typical, I think there's two balls in play. Like the switches are working. It's just bad code. That stinks.

So you know on the target, when it slides up and down, there's a compression spring. So when you press the drop target, it will press against the compression spring, it will go past the lip, and then it will fall because of another spring, the extension spring that pulls it down. what was happening the compression spring did not compress enough oh my it wasn't tight enough it was a bad literally like i took out one of the target mechs that worked compared the springs and the one was shorter than the other my spring's better than your spring but it made no sense it's like really i mean they just take these from a pile of spring so i had like so literally i cut like one and a half loop out of the spring to make it the same, compress down the same amount as the one that worked. So now your spring is stronger. It's shorter. All the issues are completely gone, literally. I even kept a little piece of it, just like, this is how much it takes for your game to not work right. It's insane. And the big deal is the streaming rig was built. I have the Carl D'Angelo model mobile streaming rig wireless HDMI I hope to have it fully done I want to run some tests on it but I should be able to roll this thing to every single game at any time since I'm not playing in the tournament he did qualify I declined which I've had at least three people ask me if that was a joke

Not common common, but when you look at SAM, the weakest part of SAM was always the flipper transistor. they always blew up when you go to spike it's the node board and guess what a transistor that i can put on myself for three dollars and maybe if i have to go up the line a little bit take a couple more things out maybe ten dollars worth of parts or a node board for 150 dollars that i can only get from stern and if they have it in stock and no schematics even look it up and try to fix it which i know zach's gonna yelling right now at the at the radio saying weebly which who who is weebly again we believe the boards for the uh bally repairs or anything like that the circuit boards for the soundboard the sp300s and he has no schematics on any of his stuff either he needs to put out schematics he's put a lot of these boards put out schematics so everyone could have a chance to fix what you're selling.
