This table looks fun. It's a lot of fun. What's the ship date? I don't know. Let's talk about the game itself. So, Mike, when you approach this game, okay, what the hell do you like to do here? What character do you like to start off as? Well, you're not actually picking characters. You're picking modes, and the modes, the icon for each different mode has a character. Oh, I see. You're not playing that character. That just happens to be one of the focal points of that particular mode, and they use a different character for each mode, so you get different pictures to look at. Okay. So you're just picking a mode. I like Podchase because it's got a lot of shots lit from the get-go. So I tend to start with that one because almost all the main shots are lit. and then in this current state, like I'm going for the two multi-balls a lot too, the way their shot multiplier works in this game is different from the past. You earn them by finishing the three return lanes and the two top rollovers. The Nova Corps lights here. Yeah, so when you make all five, it lights up all the shot multipliers, and then you make the shot you want to assign it to. And then that multiplies it for the ball. In previous games, things like that was done, like Aerosmith, you got one for spelling Aerosmith, which is kind of hard. and then other games have done it differently in the past. But this one, you light those five. So you could actually spend time just trying to light those things up over and over again to apply them to as many shots as possible and then go to town with your multiballs and starting modes. Rocket, if you shoot them enough times, I believe right now it's six, you spell Rocket and it gives you double play field. Great. And that's the same mech that you might see on games like Iron Man or something where you shoot it in there, and that just fires right back at you at high speed. It's pretty great. What else do we got here? So there is a magnet underneath here where it says Magnaforce, and it seems to activate every time it comes out of the orb here. It will also activate when Groot spits balls at you. Okay. The magnet will influence them and make them go different ways. Right on. Now, bashing Groot in the mouth will open his mouth, and then you put a ball in. The first group multiball that you do is a three-ball multiball. The second group multiball you do is a four-ball multiball. You've got the drop target sort of Star Trek device here with a little touch target behind there. What else have we got? So over here is a scoop. That's where your mode select is. That's where you collect your extra ball. And the mystery award is on there, too. Great. Mystery award, all that stuff. This sort of impact zone area here. Okay, that's Yondu. That's Yondu. Each spot is a character. And there will be different features for specific characters in the game based on whatever mode you play. Fantastic. And, ladies and gentlemen, we've got John Borg here. Also, if you get all the stand-up targets, that's called the Hadron Enforcer. Yeah. And it's like a smart bomb. So it'll light the button, and then when you make it, it'll award shots. Oh, it gives you a shot. I like it. In multiball, I think it'll give you jackpots. It'll give you jackpots in multiball, yeah. And during regular modes, it will award a mode shot. Great. So like in or multiball, at least what I've seen happens, you hit a ball in here, that will collect that jackpot, and then every other shot will be lit. So if you had a smart bomb, you could hit it, and it would collect one of the shots. Oh. So if you can't see the two-ball scradle, and you're really struggling like I was, Hit that. You can hit that. Obviously, we talked about Groot. the shot multipliers. When you're in group multiball, if you hit his face, his mouth will open. You can put a ball in there, and it'll give you 2x play field for 20 seconds. I think you can put another one in there for 3x. You can get another one in there? So 3x is your max there? Nice. Isn't rocket, if you hit that enough? If you spell rocket, yeah. Even if you hit him again, it's going to boost it by 1x in a reasonable time. Awesome. While it's running. Does the orb have a... Okay, so add a ball, it's on this game. Is add a ball only a mystery award? For now, it might be. Yeah. I'm not 100% sure on that one. Okay. Also, if you hit this big double target here... Yeah. ...and spell Guardian, Guardians... Yeah. ...it's a bonus multiplier for your end of the ball bonus. Oh, really? So every time you spell it, it goes up by an extra. So, folks, right here, you'll see this light that says Guardians flashing really big. What that is, and let me go big on the play field here. is what looks like could house three targets, it's one big, wide, awesome target. It's, like, really, really long, and you just beat the crap out of that. It bounces in there a lot, too, so you'll boost that thing up a couple acts easy. Yeah, baby. It's a normal play. So if you do a shot and then, you know, like in Star Trek and Kiss and Arrows and that same rule, whereas you make a shot and then for a brief time you make another shot as a combo, that comboed shot is worth double. Oh, damn. So you can have combo, shot multiplier, playfield multiplier, and group multiplier all at once. That's nasty. And Groot, once you're in Groot multiball and you're making all your shots, Groot's mouth is also the super jackpot. So getting him multiplied, if you know you're going to be in Groot multiball, is pretty huge. Yes. So yeah, 2x there, 2x there, another 2x there. You're just jumping points on the playfield.
