TL;DR

Manu streams Virtual Pinball in VR via Oculus Quest, showcasing immersive 3D emulated tables.

Summary

Manu Smith from Mystery Pinball Theater 3000 demonstrates Visual Pinball in VR using an Oculus Quest with Link cable connected to a gaming PC, showcasing various emulated pinball tables with custom 3D room environments. The stream highlights the technical setup required (multiple computers, high-end GPU/CPU), the visual and immersive experience of playing classic and reproduced pinball machines in virtual reality, and the passionate work of the Visual Pinball community in creating these recreations.

Key Claims

  • Visual Pinball has been adapted to work in VR via Oculus Quest using Quest Link cable connection to a PC

high confidence · Manu demonstrates this setup directly, playing multiple tables in VR throughout the stream

  • The Quest Link cable connection is essential; Visual Pinball VR cannot run natively on Quest hardware

high confidence · Manu explicitly states: 'it won't run on the Quest natively it runs on the PC with the Quest Link cable'

  • Spike 2 system machines cannot currently be emulated in Visual Pinball, only Spike 1 and earlier systems

high confidence · Manu: 'No one's emulating Spike 2. But some Spike 1 and all Sam and, you know, Harry Williams and stuff like that.'

  • Visual Pinball community creators are building custom 3D room environments and rendering for tables beyond basic playfield display

high confidence · Manu shows multiple tables with detailed room renderings, noting: 'What's also cool is, you know, in the beginning we could run these tables, but they were in a void. Now guys are rendering not only the tables but a little room for you to be in.'

  • PUP Packs (pop-up player front-end by creator 'Nail Buster') enable LCD-style video overlays in Visual Pinball, simulating Jersey Jack and Stern-style displays

high confidence · Manu demonstrates Tron Legacy with PUP Pack integration: 'so now, not only do I have it in virtual reality, but the pup pack is working, which augments the game with video.'

  • The Whodunit virtual pinball table benefits significantly from VR display compared to 2D screens due to its triple elevator contraption

medium confidence · Manu: 'This just gets better and better with a better headset and faster machine... This is one of those tables that really benefits from VR because of this elevator contraption.'

This is insane. So this is MPT3K. Super late for me right now. The kids are asleep. At least one of the kids are asleep. The other one's probably still awake looking at Overwatch videos on his laptop. So what I got going right now is virtual pinball in VR. I've done this before. I've tried to figure out a good way to do this. It's really hard to convey how cool this is. Well, it's impossible to convey how cool VR is to someone who hasn't seen VR or to show VR to people on a 2D screen. But when I tell you that this is like the coolest thing, so visual pinball exists and then someone made a version of visual pinball that works in vr period that's the end of the story check this out this is my oculus quest not rift not htc vibe not valve index the quest using the quest link cable that's actually quite important the quest link cable because you can't this won't run on the quest natively it runs on the PC with the quest link cable I'm able to attach it to this machine which you can see in my other screen because I figured no one gets to see the cabinet here's a cabinet mystery pinball theater 3000 this is connected to that and that and that I've I've got three computers going here to capture all this stuff for you guys. But it's worth it. I spent all day trying to break this. Once again, the only drawback is you can't see what's in the headset. So when I put the headset on, my virtual machine is mapped to... Sorry, my real machine is mapped to my virtual machine. So I'm pressing flippers. I can nudge the ball and see if I can show you that. Every time I hit the machine, I shake the freaking thing. Let me just show you. Why isn't my audio playing right now? For some reason, the audio is not playing. Don't hit your head on that virtual screen. Virtual VR play field. Oh, I see. Okay, I hope you can hear the music now. I don't know why that got lowered. I must look absolutely ridiculous, but everyone in VR looks absolutely ridiculous. Here we go. So, this is Spider-Man Vault Edition. And one thing I didn't realize... is that in virtual pinball, the app virtual pinball for the PC, the ball actually does hop. I never knew that the ball hopped until I saw it in 3D. Now, I'm not going to play too much of these, because I want you guys to see some of the cool tables that are created. Now one thing that people do... trying to trap up... One thing that people do is they'll build these rooms. So see how the notes of this room have like cool pictures. Well yeah you do look ridiculous. But it's so difficult to do this because I know I look stupid. I know know the arrangement of the screens look stupid but i'm looking at spider-man vault edition and what you're seeing is a jittery shaky micro movement version of a 2d flat screen i'm telling you man this is How freaking amazing. When's the last time you saw someone show you this view? Here, check this out. Turn it this way. Turn it this way, for God's sake. What? Let that drain. These are reproductions of real machines. Now, we can't get away with this anymore. We can't, you know, what is it, the Spike 2 system? No one's emulating Spike 2. But some Spike 1 and all Sam and, you know, Williams and stuff like that. Player 1, you're up. Or emulated. How come I cannot hit Venom? Bounce. I'll show you something else. I'll show you the nudge. I actually have a tilt bob in here. It will tilt. I don't have it set too tight, but it will tilt. I can nudge, I can get a danger. Oh crap, I got two. I wanted to get one, I got two. What rig is your PC? You must need some power. Yeah, so my PC will be upgraded. Currently it is a, it's an old machine. It was fine for 2D pinball forever until this came along, and then it was immediately obsolete. It's an i7-4790 processor, old processor. But there is a 980 Ti in this machine. So I can't really update the CPU yet. And the CPU is important for when there's a multiball because there's a lot of math being done. The GPU is not going to do the math. The GPU is going to render the screen. But the math involved requires a faster CPU. But I am going to put my 1080 in here. My 1080, not 1080 Ti, but my regular 1080 in here. Let's get out of Spider-Man. I'll show you something else. So you need a rig. Now I need a VR rig. So you need a rig that can handle, you need a CPU and a GPU that can handle this insanity. And you can see, you know, I have my chat in here. I'm using OVR, I think it's called OVR. Let's try another game. What's also cool is, you know, in the beginning we could run these tables, but they were in a black void. Now guys are rendering not only the tables but a little room for you to be in. And let's do, I want to show you Triple Strike. Even though Triple Strike is just an EM, the guy who created this room looks like he's trying to go back to his childhood of being a teenager. The room he wanted as a teenager. Okay, here we go. Alright, is that working? Yeah, of course it's working. Welcome to the Triple Strike room, where we have... ...Triple Strike by Williams, which is a fun classic game. Alright. A lot of the stuttering is because my PC isn't super fast enough. enough and it's also rendering everything and running obs and running ndi and all this other crap um there's farrah fossett majors there's beau derrick which every these are obviously these are obviously the uh the dreams of like a 45 year old guy um that's sorry that's that's the chat over there we have i can do this Incredible Hulk And then there's a dude that shows his head up Every once in a while And looks at me Out the window It's funny because from my camera up there It looks like I'm looking out the window Right now I'm looking out my virtual window. Where is this guy? He's back there somewhere. Alright. Well, he'll show up. Let's play some Lucky Strike. I mean, Triple Strike. This is a fun game. So the object of the game is to get strikes by knocking over all the pins. And all the pins are one of those rollovers. So I have to roll over them to get a strike. And that's not going to be a strike. That's going to be a spare now. Actually, that's not even a spare. Jeez. Alright. Oh, house ball. Yep. Oh, jeez. Let me flip. What the hell was that? Ah. Yep, just like an EM. You can't really do a friggin' bounce pass without it dying on the flippers. All right, come here, come here. I want to show them something. No. all right last oh that was game over okay great great glad that's game over let's try something else let's do a classic reproduction classic reproduction I was in here playing this for quite a while uh where is it where is it there it is there it is now if only the physics were better the physics are good but if only they were better only they were a little bit better so we have Twilight Zone Now once again for me, it's not jittery at all. It's solid. You unlock this door with the key of imagination. I can totally do my skill shot. This is a... um... it's a plunger. Actually the table is a little close to me so I have to fix it. You're not seeing it, but I'm fixing it. Okay. The analog plunger. Oh, crap. Just like Twilight Zone. No ball save. That's why you never do the... The pros, they don't do the skill shot. They plunge all the way through. and they trap up on the flipper. That's the only safe way to do it. Because this game will punish you for trying to get that skill shot. Oh, God. Okay. Hang on. I just got to play a real... I got to play a real ball to make you guys realize that I'm not this bad at pinball. Alright. Okay, I guess I am this bad at pinball. What was that? Very cool to stream this. Oh, TurboGrafx, you don't... Thank you. Number one, thank you. Number two, I am destroying three computers in my house to try this. My V-Pin is struggling, my laptop is struggling, and my desktop behind me is struggling to show you guys all this junk. Let me try this again. If I stand like this, it might look better for you guys. Oh my god, just slow down. Some games work better than others. Well, I think it looks great. Thank you. Thank you so much. I wanted to at least document this for like YouTube. Even if I got no viewers tonight I wanted to make sure my YouTube channel got to see what cool work that the underground pinball community is doing. I'm not going for the Spyro. I guess I'm going for the Spyro. I want the piano. There's magic in town here. Let's take a look. Let's take a look at some of this. There's your gumball machine. There's the clock. There's a piano. Where else could you actually look into the piano? Right? You can actually look through the slot machine. And the gumball loop. You can look at the side art. You can look at that nasty magna area, magna flip area. To use Magnaflip, flip when ball is in red zone. Defeat the power by shooting the ball through the top of the pyramid. I could spin this around and show you the exit of where the ball is. We can see the ball right there. How crazy is that? This is fully rendered in 3D. Fully rendered in 3D. This is not by a company. this is just the visual pinball community period these guys are more passionate about pinball than I think most pinball players are let's look at another one more passionate doesn't mean better it just means more passionate let's do champion pub I'm gonna play it actually first I'll show you I'll show you how cool it is and then I'll play a little bit of it is the sound okay you guys hearing everything I spent a long time trying to figure out if I could make this actually work. There he is. And there he goes. Sounds great. Thank you. Thank you, Turbo. There's the jump rope area. Right. There's the use flippers to pound speed bag. Oh, there's a mistake. You could see one of the ambient light through the... Right? 50 cents. 50 cent. Let's play a little. Oh look, so this room is rendered with some other tables right they don't actually do anything they're actually low polys and just textures but it's meant to give you a feel for the room in fact behind me is that guy they just it's so creepy they just they just took them off the playfield and put them there all right let me see how many guys I could beat Welcome to Champion Pub, kid. Oh, I forgot that thing is there. Alright, hold launch button. I'm gonna get my... Oh, 10 points. So you better listen up! Boy, I'm having no luck today. Okay. I think I know why I being very lagged because I running so much stuff right now When I running this native just by itself it doesn lag as much Right now it's lagging for me, but it's worth it to show you guys. Oh wow, look at that. Light view. I can't even fathom how much work it took to put up the stream here. Basically all day. And I'm not kidding. I started at like 10 o'clock. I did a test stream. I did a test stream and then... Let's see if we can start a fight. Did I lock a ball? Let's go for a door prize. Good, smart punch, I'll take it. Flip kid, flip Found those flippers Alright, I'm ready to start a fight I'm warmed up Ladies and gents Knuckles O'Brien Max Jedi what's up? Hello to ya, I'm O'Brien. We love pinball, what's going on? Beat him up, beat him up, beat him up. So the first guy is easy to beat because he moves the thing up. Got him in the head. oof oof watch his face oh no, oh no oof one more, one more, one more oh no dream oh crap, well at least I beat him this round was on me oh how have you been Ooh, have you been in Mac Jedi? Yeah, Mac Jedi. I haven't seen it in a while. This is taxing the system a little bit. Here, let's look at another one. Like I said, I'm not going to spend too much time playing because the performance is a little lacking. Mine and the computer's. let's do try and find one that's not so taxing oh check this out x-men it's pretty sweet uh doing good but just traveling a lot went to a really cool pinball place north of boulder today and ran into snow from colorado pinball oh that's cool yeah she seems cool okay check this out we're in the x-men room now uh we also have i also have the quest but i never see this software on the store i need this yeah so once again i'll say this is not native quest this is um the quest using the quest link cable connected to my pc and that's how I'm doing it. MP3 stream is a great MP3, I can't even say my own damn name. This stream is great, dude. Congrats on getting it set up. Thank you. Alright, this is X-Men. There's Wolverine. Alright. Alright. Oh, my man is behind. I need to move that screen. Hang on a second. I can move this screen a little bit if I just grab this. Gotcha. Come here. Let's put that down there. Okay, now you can see him. How cool is that background? So I'm in the X-Men room. I'm in the X-Men room. I don't know how to play X-Men. X-Men, Magneto is attacking the UN summit. we must stop him you might not play x-men cuz I don't I know don't panic footnotes have a lot the ball must be made if my dreams are to reach fruition Man, I destroyed that. That was great. I think. Who's that guy? Do I have to beat him? Oh, it went through the bash toy. Second rockaball. Shia. Damn, I suck tonight. This is the view you're used to. In chess, hearts go first. They're not sacrificed. It's necessary. Back off, boss. What a ball. I've captured another ball. Blackbird ready for takeoff. Blackbird is ready. I am Phoenix. Great stream setup. Thank you. I'm going to choose. Okay, let's choose Juggernaut. You must remove his helmet for me to disable you. Oh, somebody did something. Thank you for that something that I will see in a moment. Mr. J, thank you for the follow. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I usually stream real pinball. I'm going back to my roots right now and streaming a little virtual. And the most insane virtual is this contraption. Short plunge. Wow. Pretty neat, huh? Alright. Alright. Let's do another one. This one is going to be cool. Now check this out. This time we're going to play a game that uses what's called a Pup Pack. And I can find my cursor. Where's my cursor? There it is. I've got four screens on this computer. You guys will get to see one. It uses what's called Pup Caps, Pup Packs. Now Pup Packs are a pop-up player. This guy goes by the name of Nail Buster, created this front end for visual pinball. I meant for all kinds of pinball games, but he also created a way for the pinball machines to sort of do like Stern type LCDs, like Jersey Jack type LCDs. If you're familiar with it, you know what I'm talking about. but I will show you Tron Legacy. And I have to turn this screen on actually. So you guys can see it. Hopefully it works. There it is. So now, not only do I have it in virtual reality, but the pup pack is working, which augments the game with video. So Tron doesn't actually have video, but they wrote it. This guy Terry Red wrote, just basically ripped stuff off the movie, made this whole thing, and so now it reacts to the game, so it's as if Jersey Jack made a Tron. So you guys get to watch the Tron and also see the virtual. I feel like I'm talking too much. Just watch. Is that, uh... Okay. I suck at Tron, too, so... It's a whole night of sucking at pinball. But it's the coolest. ...at the arcade. Now when you're acting like I'm gonna find him sitting there working. Okay. Just lining up my table with the real table. Now, I can be an animal. Come on. Never full plunge. That chorus shot is always, always hard. Yeah, I'm getting a lot of stutter, but that's just because I'm streaming. Alright, we try again. Short plunge. Nope, not short enough. Hey man, it's your lucky day. day. Damn it. That's pretty neat, right?рик 16E às 15h , Battle Rinsler for Disc War Multiball. Oh my god. So much stutter guys It was impressive There was so much stutter The machine is trying to do too much right now So Pup packs are not meant to go with the VR I can't Actually I can I can capture the pup pack into VR. Here, let me show you. Actually I might crash the machine so I won't do that right now. But you can capture the video and throw it on a back glass inside VR. Anyway, that's an option. Let's look at another table. My machine is dying right now. Here's a game I don't play often. Black Rose. Any questions out there about this ridiculous setup? Once again, Oculus Quest. Oh, Black Rose, I don't think it's going to give me the back glass unless I do specifically capture. It's not going to give me the back glass unless I set it up to capture the back glass. So, but I'll show you some features of Black Rose. Oh, what's that? Pinball magic? Wait, it's theater magic. Why does it say pinball magic over there? What's that over there? Attack from Mars. David Jones Locker. I know, it's a little jittery. Anyway, there's the Canon shot. I'm going to try a different one, guys. Just try a different one. The software is still kind of beta-ish. I can turn this off. The software still is kind of beta-ish. I actually had a blue screen of death my machine, but then I reinstalled everything. Let's do No Good Gophers. So this just gets better and better with a better headset and faster machine. You know, when everything gets faster. The problem is, it's not a problem, but in my other room I have my main VR setup. So that's the OG HTC Vive with the lighthouses, and it's running, I think, a i7-6700K with a 1080 card. That 1080 card is going to come out and go into this machine because that 1080 card, in about a week, is going to be replaced with a 2080 Ti or better if they come out with something better before that. I mean, I know it was Titan RTX, but I'm not even going to... I don't have Titan RTX money. This is a fun one. And you can actually see those guys down there. And you can see when the... Whatever that is to lift the ball up. Oh, it didn't make it. clubfoot yeah hole in one Oh, wow. Gotta hit the captive ball. I can't seem to hit the damn captive ball. BOO! Big deal! Hit the captive ball! Oh crap. Oh! I still can't hit the captain ball. Nope. I'm an old man. I'm an old man who can't hit the captain ball. There's a lot of stutter. But I also can't hit the damn captain ball. Hold on one. Nope. So let's lock a ball. Got it. He stole my ball. Hold on one. Nope. That's such a great mechanic, that shot. This is a Pat Lawler machine. Pat Lawler design. The man is brilliant, I think. I'll tell you what you want about Willy Wonka, but I love Willy Wonka. It a great game Pat Lawler has such a great reputation in the pinball community and pinball industry Such a great game idea. Player's choice. Gopher's choice. I need to hit the other gopher so I can lock the ball. Now I need to lock the ball. I can backhand this. I can backhand this. There we go. Alright, here comes the, uh, I gotta shoot the putting green to start the multiball. Pulling one? Nope. Let's go for the putting green now. That shot right there. Nope. Bounce. That shot. Nope. Ooh, that was close. It's going to ball search me. Got it. I'll take it from the back. Okay, the object in the multiball is hit that ramp, and then hit pink. Too many balls. This is the part I like best! Oh good I got to step behind him. Oh look at that! They gave me nothing for that? I actually got it in the whole 1v1. They didn't give me nothing. This is the part I like best! Forget about it! Ah! Too many balls! You know what? I forgot what I'm supposed to shoot right now. Shoot left ramp. Okay. That's something. That was a jackpot. That was a jackpot. I got a jackpot. I think I might have cheated my way into that jackpot, but I got a jackpot. It's so laggy right now. I think my machine is starting to die. This game is so much fun. This is the part I like best. What's the part I like best? Super Jet! Million a pop. Extra ball, is it? I'm worn out. Look at that. All right. Oh! Yeah, I'm going to need it. Wow. This is electrifying. Oh, that thing spins. I can backhand that. It's a pretty decent game. I'm going to keep this going. Sorry if I'm boring you guys. I went for it and I didn't hit it. No, that's the wrong way around. Wolfman! Can I what? Can you virtually? Oh, sorry, Mac Jedi, I missed your thing. So you're getting haptic feedback from your rig while playing VR, yes. This thing was built a long time ago with feedback, you know, solenoids inside. So that's why this is kind of the perfect simulation right now. You get the feel, you get the clicks, you get the pop pops, you get the lights. Well, I'm not getting any lights. This is crazy shiz. Yeah, this is the stupid stuff that I do when I'm trapped at home with two kids because my wife is a doctor and she's on call tonight. So I spent all night just going, how do I stream virtual pinball to my pinball friends? That's freaking clever. You can't actually play it though. I got 14 million you guys. This is a great game going right now. Home in one. Nope. Missed it. Dang it. I'm going to get to the second one. I'm gonna get to the seventh hole. I need a faster computer. Somebody give me some bits so I can get a faster computer so I can do VR better. No, just please ignore that statement because that one's ridiculous. What you're supposed to do is you're supposed to drive. Gotta replay. Ooh, that was crazy. Wow. Thank you for the... Thanks, Wolfman. How can you prove you actually played it, though? I can't. Damn it! Hey Wolfman, I want to show you um... ...shoot the captive ball again. I can't. Got it. Oh, I got a multiball from that. Can you guys even see the balls? Because it's so jittery. I'm playing pinball by luck right now. Get that rig. 19 million. Damn it. okay I can alright I think I'm destroying my oh look at that didn't expect to do that tonight I'm missing some chat. You have turkeys roaming around next to you. Are you on a golf course? Yeah. Come on, let's quit this. See if we can do one or two more before my machine explodes. It's actually getting hot in here. I did not expect it to get actually fracking hot. Let's look at our core temperatures real quick. what I'm gonna do look at the core temp oh my god my core temperatures are it's oh geez 76 degrees celsius on one of the cores it hit a high of 84 degrees holy crow I'm stressing the frack out of this thing okay one or two more things it's not because of just playing virtual pinball is because of the insane setup I have. Wow, thank you, Mac Jedi. Damn, bro. I really appreciate that. I feel like I'm justified in doing all this ridiculous stuff. You guys remember Whodunit? do you remember WHO dunnit oh wait i'm trying to run this without resetting let me uh oh i actually did reset okay thank you for the tickle bitties oh check this out oh that's cool yellow king i don't get it So this is one of those tables that really benefits from VR because of this elevator contraption. You guys familiar with Whodunit? It's got this triple elevator thing. On a pancake screen, it doesn't really... I mean you can hit the shots, but it doesn't really kind of work well. And there's the phone. Some pop bumpers. There's a roulette wheel. Oh, that's cool. It's... How weird does it look? I'm like holding the headset over... over nothing. I'm gonna try this. I was afraid of this. Somebody, come quick! And then, I was on the case. Skill shot. Well, I just cheated the skill shot. Take a cab. Oh my god guys, the roulette wheel looks amazing. I mean the ju- the ju- what is it called? Slot machine. Oh crap. And then I was on the case. Yeah, I like this machine. It's a little, I don't think you're ever gonna see it in a tournament because it's a little unfair scoring wise. You know, bet half your second chance. I gotta hit one of the question marks. Second chance. Got it. Seventh floor. Let's follow the cab. I'll stand like this. Oh well, so much for standing like that. My high score, this is ridiculous. Get that skill shot! That wasn't it. You can bet half your score on something ridiculous like that. Never played this game? It's fun. This elevator is so cool. Elevator madness. That means I just need to shoot the elevator. Keep shooting the elevator and getting jacked fast. Damn it, just shoot the elevator for Christ's sake. There we go. One more. Nope. Answer the phone. Tell me more about Tony. Trixie had always loved Tony. So what's the trick with the suspects again? It's something like... It's something like, if a suspect doesn't talk about themselves, they're the suspect or something? It is. It's simple but addicting. Yeah, this is one of those games that you can just play forever. It's like, if the suspect says the name of the... I forgot the rule. Alright, if anybody remembers, let me know. All right, let's guess. Trixie. Oh, crap. I actually got me for a mile. Oh. You guys, this game has Midnight Madness. This game has Midnight Madness. It's midnight. It's midnight in San Francisco and it started Midnight Madness mode. This is a first for me on my Twitch stream. This is how unfair this game is. If you happen to play it at midnight you will get this mode. Yes, that was ridiculous. Yes, that was ridiculous. it actually interrupted my game give me midnight man this case is almost solved oh my god you'll do I'll do okay one more Thanks for joining me guys. I'm going to post this up on YouTube just so that people can have fun watching these This virtual pinball insanity If I could invite you over to play it, you'd lose your mind. It's so stunning. It's so stunning. It's the machine right here. Like, why would I ever leave home? I have every machine here. Oh no! I got a game not found error. I think I know why. It's looking for the color ROM. I don't have the color ROM. I can fix that real quick. I don't have the color ROM. So now I have to go to the task manager and kill the task. But, it doesn't kill my computer. It doesn't kill my computer. When are you going to squad stream? I guess it's a thing now we can do, right? Actually, don't panic flip. I already jumped on the idea. And I'm game. I want to squad stream a virtual pin versus one of his real pins. that would be pretty cool right to see you know nobody wants to see the difference really but just to kind of do it as a i don't know it'll be fun i don't know as soon as george gets back from dominican republic i can start talking to him about how he wants to do it let's see i think i can get rid of this and use this. Yeah. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah. So it's really a thing now? Like you can, like, I'm not an affiliate. I'm only a, I mean, I'm not a partner. I'm only an affiliate. So don't you need a special kind of, Yeah, so we can play head to head, yeah. So don't you need a special kind of status or whatever? To uh, oh my god. Oh, that's... Just a few posters on the wall. Seems really slow. Not sure. Alright, I'll look it up. Hey, check it out. This is the version with the... Right? The actual hammer. Let's see if I can see it from that way. Yeah. And it's got the... This is your virtual arcade room This is my hole This is my man cave This is where daddy goes to think Awesome I don't know if I took too many shots. They're premium. Yeah. Yep, hammer hits the ball goes right through the play field Amazing skill shot Hey Oh shit, I wasn't supposed to do that. I'm gonna do that. Get some jackpots before the rest of the balls come up. Get my picks. Get my picks. Damn it. Oh, I almost got the crosses. Oh god, two balls. Ah, one ball. Now, hey, what's that smell? Can we get that last hit? Let's try it now. Oh, just a close, close, close to the. Come on, I think that. What's wrong with you? What's wrong with you? What is going on? Two hits? Any two hits? Raise the grave marker. Does that mean I already did it once? You know what guys? My shaker motor just woke up. How did my shaker motor wake up? I disabled my shaker motor. I swear I disabled my shaker motor and now it's shaking the table. Oh shit. Okay. Hang on a second. I gotta stop. Sorry. I had to stop? I disabled that shaker motor in here because it's too violent and it just started again. And now I'm wondering, did I disable it? Because if this shaker motor goes off right now, it's set to so loud, it's going to wake up my neighbor downstairs. So that's enough of... actually is disturbing because I thought I disabled it I'm no electrician by the way there's a shaker motor in in the cabinet also but it's a little ridiculous all right last game last game last game let's go with let's go with Maybe it's because you shut down those apps. I don't know. That's scary. Let's go with Demolition Man. Oh, you guys got to see this. Demolition Man's cool. Now, on a virtual, you can change. I have I have Magnesave buttons as you can maybe you can see them on in this camera. I have MagnaSave buttons above my flippers, right? They're dual-purpose buttons. They could be MagnaSaves. They could be... Dude, I have the Rockford... What? Fosgates in my pins? I don't know what that is. So... Turn it up to 11. Nice. Oh, I just got it. So check this out. I have the MagnaSaves on the side of my pinball machine So I can use the MagnaSaves as the triggers For Demoman I didn't show you guys It actually shows the side art Of the pin Cool, huh? Loud AF speakers Turn it up to 11 It goes up to 11, so it's one ladder, isn't it? It's one ladder. It goes to 11. This is so cool. Oh, and they have elevator action over there. All right. And the man himself, of course. it might be 12 it might go up to 12 and then we have movie posters of demo man and we got more movie no and we have oh wow look at that miss pac-man Damn this is crazy cool I'm the demolition man Missed that Shake it, shake it, shake it. Ooh, that's a steep one. Get up there, get up there! Oh, you suck! Cue the seashell jokes. She was so hot, wasn't she? She's still kind of hot. But go watch Demoman again. If that's your cup of tea. I don't mind if it's not. Man, I cannot catch that. Oh, no ball save. Okay. That was a weird hop It was nothing but weird Why does it say free play? Why did it say free play when I endangered? I'm going to try that again. I'm going to danger and see if it says free play. Oh, I got the combo. Okay, here we go. Let's go here. ACMAC. That's right up the middle. Or... Give it to me. Crap. Got it. falling out yeah Alright, ACMAC code. Now activating. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Go! Go! Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah! I'll tell you guys, this is the best game of Demolition Man I've ever played. Alright, that'll do it. Wolfman, if you're still here, I just gotta show you something. I actually did this already, but I'm gonna show you real quick because I think it's cool. And I need you to tell me who the following two people are. No cheating. You with me? Are you still with me? I want you to tell me who the following two people are. Where is it? I'm going to wait until I see if I get a response from Wolfman. If not, I will end the stream. Okay, I guess he's not here. But, yeah, once again, MPT-3K here with his virtual pin. You see it in that camera. You see the actual pin. and then VPVR, which is the alteration of visual pinball, and it's actually called visual pinball on PC. You can download it now. It's free. You can download it, get it all set up, and play games just with your shift keys on your keyboard. You can build a giant cabinet like I did and like hundreds of other guys have done that want to kind of play these games and learn the ROMs and learn the rules, play the games that don't exist anymore. And you can get VPVR, use it with pretty much any HMD, although I think you do need an NVIDIA graphics card. It won't work with AMD. Like that machine right there has an AMD Radeon 7. It doesn't work. But this has a 980 Ti, and it works. This is an Oculus Quest. It doesn't run natively on the Quest, but you can get an Oculus Link cable or a compatible cable like an Oculus Link cable and run it through. This is actually running through Steam. So you can see Steam is running right now through the Oculus software, through Steam, and then through here. The latency is one thing about virtual pinballs. Using in virtual reality is the latency is cut almost in half. so there's really no latency. So when you hit the flipper, the flipper engages. That's about it. That's all I want to say. I want to throw this up on YouTube. Give a shout-out to everybody who's been building these things. I forgot the developer of VPVR, but I want to give a shout-out to Terry Red because I go through all of his tutorials. That's how I got this cabinet set up so quickly again when I had to reinstall it. Nail Buster, who wrote a lot of his software. The guy who wrote VPVR, I don't know his name. everybody in the VP forums, VP universe and VP pinball.com amazing community love these guys and gals who do this stuff and that's it for me thanks for joining me I'm out, no special flashy exit just gonna stop the stream bye
