Hey guys, Drew here. Just wanted to give you a little bit of a bonus episode just to kind of pair with episode 112 that I just did with Jonathan Hall. This last week when I was with Rachel, I spoke about all the great people that reached out when I gave out my phone number. Because like I said, I'm out in the public, 414-828-3739. Feel free to text me anytime. but I just wanted to give them their due and you know just just kind of mentioned several of these people that did reach out and said some really kind things so here we go so we got first we got JR I still love the podcast I like the butthole jokes and stuff but I like content more you're a good content provider oh I listen to all episodes and aspire to be tribe worthy someday best JR that's really sweet so I started responding back to him and then he came back with some more Hey, thanks for responding. You sounded pretty down in the podcast yesterday, and it's obvious that you're missing Ian. I really am. But I thought your opinions, insights about Rush were valuable, and like you said, came out a lot more succinctly without the banter. I love the banter too, but in the end, listeners want content. This is why Kaneda has won four Twippies. As long as Poor Man's keeps giving content, I'll be listening. I also enjoy Tribe Multiball. Shout out to Rachel and Tim, but not as much as you. Can't make this stuff up, guys. I love it. But just listening, this is still JR, then we're kind of keep going back and forth. Just listening to the latest episode. I'm so glad to hear so many people reached out about the Poor Man's Pinball podcast, which they did. I'm digging your rapport with Rachel. She's a great guest and gives the Poor Man's Pinball podcast a unique female voice. Way to go, Rachel. I'm slowly plying my wife. Oh, that sounds sexy. And her sister's into pinheads. A pill climb, but worth the fight. So super cool. Thanks, JR. Thanks for reaching out. Next we have Carl, Mr. Jackrabbit himself. He used to be in the Twitch streams with us. We miss Jackrabbit. But he reached out and said, hi, Drew. Carl here, Jackrabbit. I wanted to reach out to you as I just listened to your episode 110. I've been a fan of the Poor Man's Pinball podcast for a couple of years now. Thank you, Jackrabbit. I miss Ian and the dynamic friendship that came across whenever the two of you got together. Sound quality has improved a lot on today's episode. Well, thank you again. I look forward to each episode you find the time to produce. Maybe you could co-host with Jesse. Hmm, maybe. Jesse J., are you out there? Best of luck with everything. And then he sent a picture listening to your latest podcast in my man cave He smoking a cigar having a great time You may notice I have my favorite Cuba Cuba acid cigar from all places He says drew estates I actually had that cigar. I've told them that it's, it's actually really good. The Cuba, I think that's how you say it. Cuba Cubas from drew estates. They are really good. The acid brands. I like those. So anyways, uh, moving on here, we got Jesse. My name is Jesse from Vermont. listener since the beginning he put in all caps super cool man i appreciate it never felt right asking to become a tribe member no but lots of people do uh but damn if i wanted to laughing my fucking ass off he says i wrote in with a dad joke a long ways back when you guys asked us to send in dad jokes i didn't make the cut obviously i'm sorry jesse you know our our email box is flooded i'm not not to be that guy most of it's spam so i don't i don't check it as often as i should i probably should check it more often. Maybe I'll just give out my work email address because, you know, I'm, I actually look at that thing every day, but anyways, poor man's pinball, gmail.com or 414-828-3739. Send me a text. Text actually works best because I see those and, you know, I'm on my phone all day. So anyways, Scott, Scott V here. Hey, Drew, just a pinball enthusiast and listen to your latest show. Thanks for podcasting. Super cool, Scott. Thank you so much. Then, uh, we did get an email here from Dr. Dude. I'm not sure who Dr. Dude is, but, uh, he started Mike Peterson, send in an email to the poor man's pinball at gmail.com. Hello. Just a little feedback on your new setup. Volume was way too low. Otherwise great show and content. Well, Hey, that was, uh, you know, it's part of the learning curve and, uh, no, thanks for, thanks for being a listener, Mike. And I really, really appreciate it. This next one is a Facebook messenger from a friend of the show, Stephen Haberman, who happens to share the last name of Ian. I am trying to get into the poor man's tribe. Love the podcast. And if me and Ian can be connected in some family, since we were both Habermans, that would be cool too. Well, thank you for that, Stephen. He further goes on to ask, what other things should I be looking to, to make it into the tribe? This is an important question because we joke about it a lot, but there are literally a lot of people that, um, ask. That is a solid question, Steven. Um, and we, we make a lot of jokes about it. I make a lot of jokes about it how lots of people do ask Um but that part true We get a request to be in the tribe all the time because people see how much fun our tribe members are having They you know they know tribe members They're friends with them. They play pinball with them, and they just tell them how cool it is to be part of the tribe and this great community that we've built. And it really is a team effort because, you know, like I said, now this thing's kind of taken on a life of its own, and the tribe is what the tribe is and it's fantastic. But the short answer is, you know, help us make this podcast bigger. Not because we want better numbers or twippies or any of that stuff, but just because we want to get, you know, the word out about the fun of pinball because that's what this is all about. So continue to share it with your friends, you know, participate on the Poor Man's Fan page, talk to other tribe members get involved send messages to me we can we can talk and just you know just be a great pinball human being so you know the criteria isn't huge and once again we're going to keep inducting more tribe members we inducted miss amy lee a couple weeks ago and there'll probably be another one coming up let's see we're in february yeah i'm hoping to have at least probably two more this month because like i said it there has been quite a bit of interest. And, um, I don't know that number 50 seems good for now. We're, we're up to 45, I think. So, you know, hopefully, hopefully we can get four or five solid people in, in the next, you know, month or two here. And, and we'll go from there. Then this last one here was an email, um, that somebody sent to poor man's pinball at gmail.com from a Dr. Dude. Now I am not sure who Dr. Dude is, but this guy is fun. Um, him and I had a lot of back and forth, um, but I'm just going to share these couple and I'll save the rest for another time. Um, Dr. Dude, he says to me, can't remember the last time I stopped by on my thank your creators touring circus, but you're killing it, bud. Full steam ahead. You know, that was really nice. So him and I had some, some back and forth. It was really good. And then, um, also how funny would it be to crank call flipping out every once in a while and record the results. I'm seriously asking because I genuinely have no idea. It sounds hilarious to me. My brain is also quite broken. Well, Dr. Dude, that's actually great because that is something that I would come up with. And then Ian would probably poo poo me for So um who knows I mean and now the cat out of the bag so we can really do that to Zach and flipping out cause he know what going on maybe he won but uh anyways thanks thank you so much for um all the kind words from all the people if I missed you I'm sorry send me a message tell me I fucked up people do it all the time and um if you want once again poor man's pinball at gmail.com or 414-828-3739 send me a text tell me what you like about the poor man's podcast and maybe you know what maybe we'll just have a contest for the next tribe member. Um, we'll just say, send us a video of why you should be in the tribe, you know, or not, not video. We're doing more audio these days. Maybe we'll have an audio submission and we'll keep it to, I'd say a minute to two minutes. And then we could actually play those on a future show and that would be great. And then we could, maybe the tribe members could vote on it. So, um, maybe start sending those in. I'm not sure if that's going to be a thing, but since it's my show, man, I'm making it a thing. Send in an audio submission. Tell me why you should be part of the poor man's pinball podcast tribe and we can go from there. Well, uh, that's all I have for you today. Once again, just want to give people their due. Thank you to Tim and Rachel who do such a great job with tribe multiball. If you haven't listened to the latest episode with Rodden, Hey, uh, Tim Lee, by the way, it's Rodden. It's not very hard to say Rodden. I see. I said it three times. I didn't even screw it up and I screw up a lot of words. So listen to that. It was very hilarious because Tim did not say his name the whole episode because he kept screwing it up. So to Rodden, you did fantastic on the show and there were some good stories about me being drunk and how I met Rodden but didn't even know it because it was that wonderful incident from 2019. That actually really made me chuckle when I was driving. so thank you again Tim and Rachel doing such a great job thank you to tribe member Martin tribe member number 2 listener number 15 he's also doing a show for the poor man's pinball network PPN pinball junk drawer he's had some amazing interviews and just stuff from the archives and he does a great job and just really creative guy who does some amazing things so thank you to everyone who contributing to the poor man's pinball network. I really appreciate it. And, um, if anyone else wants to contribute to the network or the show, the podcast here, um, shoot me a line. Once again, I'm going to be a broken record, poor man's pinball at gmail.com. Shoot me a line and we can talk soon. Later.
