What's up guys? What we're going to be doing in this video is showing how to make your cactus canyon go from to this. Let's get started. Let's start with the Art Blades. In order to install these you will need to raise your playfield all the way up. These are the Brian Allen Art Blades. To purchase your own pair, link is in the video description. Brian has done art for all of the CGC games so it is only natural that he follows suit with Cactus Canyon. I have installed his work on all of the remakes, but none of them have belonged to me. So this install makes it extra exciting for me. First you will need to clean the surface area. I used 91% rubbing alcohol. Peel away the corresponding art blank. Then ease it down the side while deterring from prematurely sticking to the cabinet Use the hinge bolt as your guide I place the blade over this bolt and then align the portion towards the flipper button. Make sure the plate filled glass guide isn't being covered by the arc blade. Once it's even, just begin pressing the material to the cabinet and make sure there are no air bubbles. If you are unable to work the air bubbles out, the material can be lifted and reapplied. Once you have it all smoothed out, move on to the other side. Then it's It's just a simple rinse and repeat with the same method. Moving on to the trans light, you will need to unplug the light box but do this with the game power off. The connector is located here. Now start removing the black trim pieces around the perimeter Once that all removed the light box can be set to the side Now just swap out the old trans light with the new one Make sure you remove the protective layer Center the trans light face down on the glass. You should have about this much space around the edges. Now carefully place the light box on top of the glass so you don't nudge the trans light out of place. The first trim piece to apply is the lift trim. This one tends to be the easiest. Then apply the side sections. Then finish with the top trim. This one is usually the most difficult. to verify your work. If you flip it over the trim should cover the bare glass around the perimeter. If all looks good plug the light box back in with the power off. Thank you so and that is how you install Brian Allen's art package in your very own Cactus Canyon. To get yours, I will put links in the video description. I see this as a great improvement to the game's aesthetics. Stay tuned in a future video where I brighten this game up with PinStadiums.
