Hello everyone and welcome to the first edition of the Classic Pinball Podcast. My name is George. I'm one of the co-hosts. I'll be here with you every week and we'll be talking about classic pinball.

You may be asking yourself, why are we calling this the classic pinball podcast? The idea behind the show is to talk about machines that are at least 25 years old. So we're going back now to 1994 and before. and my co-host Dave and I, big reveal, Dave, he's going to be doing commentary along with me on different aspects of the hobby surrounding classic pinball.
1:03
A little bit about my background I grew up in New Jersey I summered at the Jersey Shore When people hear Jersey Shore most people think of if they can remember at Seaside Heights New Jersey. Well, I grew up in a town a couple north of there, so very familiar with the arcade scene that was there when I was a kid. And we'll talk about that in some upcoming episodes. I'm
1:34
sure there'll be a focus on arcades. You're all probably wondering where Dave is. Well, Dave wasn't available for this podcast. And the reason behind it is because we needed to do a podcast for the satisfaction of the podcast distributors. Basically, they want to check you out and make sure that you've formatted your podcast correctly, labeled it, etc. So that's why Dave's not here. That's why I'm kind of doing this short version to get us,
2:10
you know proverbially on the map out there Dave will join us in the next couple of days Hopefully our podcast gets picked up and you can then listen to our first podcast which will focus around the Sturbridge Pinball Show known as Pintastic don't want to say too much more other than that but look for that upcoming we'll do a discussion about the upcoming show about past shows and what to expect
2:42
so with that said we'll move forward with some other items a few items that I want to leave you with are the first that I'll leave Dave to do his own introduction we'll leave it as a mystery for now as to who Dave is second we're going to attempt to do a podcast weekly somewhere between an hour and a half an hour just enough but not too long
3:20
and third again i talk about Pentastic and what Dave has done with Pentastic I unfortunately have not attended due to family obligations in the past, and I don't think it's been around for too many years. But we'll talk about that. It's in our backyard, and we're both looking forward to attending next week's show. so with that said I'll bid you all farewell
3:54
if you have listened all the way through thank you and we've got some great content coming up I'm sure if you're into classic pinball and even if you're not I think you'll enjoy Dave and I and our perspective on the hobby so be good be well and we'll see you at the next episode.
