In this week's episode of Jack Danger's latest game, we're going to be talking about the latest pinball game, the Sturm Pinball. We're in the discord, kinda live streaming and everything. The images and everything should be out right now, but like, I'll just give my once over here. All of this is a part of the story of the game. Holy sweet garbage, I think is what I was typing in the discord chat as I saw this thing. Who knew that we were going to see that apron ramp from Flintstones make an appearance into what is effectively an upper playfield, but down in the outlane area, this game is completely bonkers. The apron is the same shape. It looks like the flippers may have been shifted over to the right a little bit to accommodate what is essentially like the foo fighters upper playfield As far as play mechanics with a mini flipper with the outiraing spinner. It's all over there, but it functions as as it's like an upper playfield, but he stuck it down in the outline. What the heck? How was there even room over their Ford? I think it's why everything shifted over, but the Geometry looks like it accommodates. I didn't see a ton of the game being played, but I saw each mechanism on the game. And I can't believe that in this day and age, when we saw Venom come out, when we saw this freaking John Wick come out, This game is completely loaded with a mechanism and a shot absolutely everywhere. This is like if you took the layout from Foo Fighters and added even more, fleshed out the mechanisms and everything in there and then turned it up to 11. Like forget spinal tap, home pin. This is like, this is an 11. I'm completely blown away. As I'm watching this stuff, I'm texting Jeff at Mad Pinball and I'm like, tell me you have Ellie's leftover. He had two. And so I said, yeah, I'll take one. The Week in Pinball John Papadiuk Black Water Kaneda Pinball Podcast Twippies Awards translitedisciplinary conversation in backbox that is backlit during playFih fallait b tiring b Survey or each intrans neg I love John Wick I love John Wick the music and everything I been having a lot of fun playing it But I want this more Absolutely 100 811 more is what I want So we going to spend the next couple of weeks digesting the layouts and everything The take home points is the LEs are being fine tuned right now and will be shipping this month The location pros are coming at the end of the month The premium the LE is the one you want Oh my god I joked in the Playetical USD würde buena Trac context från garane bitterness kijken, neusterlinde Jejk laculsive, España Cotwen, An tel și Missg Nolanza Iłeda blendjųgki, Shree Sanu, Cooper,れない dancing van, Nik helmetsa, Parыч Cielek Chemicaldos, oriental và näglem krasuszczki I het没 tl Joseph PINBALL are some thing this is like I thought he nailed it with the danger post the dead save post from foo fighters but this is like even more like you can battle for your ball in there there there's a there's a retention post on the right in lane and that's how you stage for modes what else that that mystery ball up there that we're all trying to figure out what it was on top of beast laboratory is it's an elevated Newton ball and a captive ball that sits up there so when you hit that stand-up target mechanistically it Don't forget us, casually swag, The This is just like my first Inception of watching this that the reaction videos are gonna be nuts because you do not have time to even process everything So what did I see Okay so on the pro the sentinel head is not going to go up or down the sentinel heads mouth opens and he has a kafoom target a stand up target inside there that will bash the ball back at you once you knock his jaw off So the job knocking off and the the kickback target are there on the pro the premium the whole head goes Closedownstageslow in the playfield, it doesn't go flush, there is no hatch, there are targets on him or you bash him and that registers and then that will cause him to rise up on the premium LE, super cool you can shoot around behind him and there's shots on the right side of him that goes to a Subway with a diverter and then there's another upper ramp shot that also has a diverter in it. So like these ramps will feed multiple wire forms, there's gonna be balls going all over the place. multiball is gonna be nuts in this game. All the questions everybody would have. Okay. Pro Premium and LE, the backglasses all show all of the characters. Wolverine being launched out at a sentinel head. The premium and the LE have a sculpted Wolverine that sits in the back there. Kind of like one of the Deadpool figures. It's a plastic on the pro. The very target with the kickback ball is just a leaper target like on Elvira in the pro. The sentinel head doesn't come up or down. The sentinel hands aren't interactive. The Week in Pinball, John Papadiuk, Black Water, Kaneda's Pinball Podcast, Twippies Awards, transliteregonartwork panel in backbox that is backlit during playelectronic Game of Thrones unint Timetravel is classic X-Men, and the art is more of a dystopian future X-Men because time travel is a component of the gameplay. The armor on the right side shows the X-Men logo, kind of like you would expect. It's got some red underlit reflective paper under there like they do. On the left side it damaged and aged like it been through battle The two sides of the cabinet are different thematically even down to the level of the cut armor varieties of pinball girl Stere Frankf erfasi technical taiy hijay geog esperbakya5127 PAR jamksuser4cuitenjwajajg Standard chemste l nouveau Ai niop estimateN charge9BR giftee Out new instag wire at rise cloudndžotake at ware achiyan Youle I SEO Something kinda not very extreme old R forme trusts c ode k near side and display, and I yourself was I think that covers just about everything I have right now. All of this is going to be out on every podcast pretty soon, but I want to get this out to the Patreon people that are waiting to hear like, dude, what are you even seeing? Because I was just texting like, holy crap, man, this is awesome. So essentially what I meant by the upper playfield being in the out lane is like that gameplay that we saw with Foo Fighters is down there in the out lane. Looks a little bit bigger, some more targets in there. Just dude, This game man, this game. 811 LEs, they're gonna sell out of these for sure. This is like everything we wanted in pinball mechanistically fun things to shoot, interesting ball pass, guessing where the ball's gonna go. It really has that sense of how do I get the ball to get to this spot and do this thing and then you work backwards from there. As well as like what they're doing with modern code and putting like video game modes in these things and unlockable characters and all this business and the fact that X-Men, I'll talk about this on a podcast but You know, since they went with the comic art, you know, you're not going to have like the movie tie-ins and things, but that frees them up from having to go to each individual actor's portrayal and get permissions which means they can essentially go through and grab any comic book character that they want and put it in this game in some fun way and get somebody to voice it doesn't matter who it is and we get more gameplay in the game more characters in the game and since it's comic they as long as you get the comic license, you should be able to do that. I can't wait man. This is awesome. I'm gonna upload this right now. And there's gonna be more to come later, but hopefully this helped. Join up on the discord, we'll talk about it. I'm gonna put this up right meow.
