welcome back hello to punk rock pinball i'm stephanie i'm mike and this is our first uh video podcast now with video omg gonna have to watch on youtube to see it with video there might be a way to upload it i think spotify but i have no idea how to do that Can we have to host your podcast through Spotify to get video on? All right. We're not doing that.
0:30
Not doing that. Spotify. Sorry. Screw you. Yeah. Okay. It's it was a really big week. Here. Big week. In this rock room. Big things happened. Happened in. Where do you want to start with? Well, let's start with. Multiple things. Let's start with what happened on Thursday. You may see these videos before this podcast comes out, so you already might have known what happened. We had our friends Telethon, the band, featuring Jack Sibylski, who plays guitar with me in the Smoking Popes on the Road.
1:08
Young Jack. He's a shredder. Yeah. And our friends. The Dreaded Laramie. The Dreaded Laramie from Nashville. Yeah. They're on tour together, and they played Chicago one night, and they were on their way to St. Louis. So they made a pit stop here in Bloomington and recorded a few songs right here in front of these pinball machines. Can you believe Telethon was right here? Right here.
1:39
Right in this room. Oh, my God. Yeah. I just am almost done editing all of them. I have both of the Telethon ones done and one of the Dreaded Laramie, and the song is just on repeat in my head, and that's not a bad thing. Which song did you like the best? Out of all of them? Mm-hmm. The Pen is really funny. The Pen. There's a line in there about he's talking about his neighbor, and he says, I liked his garage. He liked my garage. Yeah. I thought that was good.

It's pretty great. It's a funny story. And I like that first Laramie one a lot. What was that one called? Altered East. That's the one that stuck in my head. Yeah. And I haven't gotten to Communion. That's the last one. Altered East, I don't think, is on one of their albums yet. Is that a new song? I don't know. They didn't tell me. It was a whirlwind. Had the dog barking upstairs. First, I tried to give him a little Kong thing and put him in the bedroom. And I hear this like, choo, choo, choo, choo, choo. And I'm like, looked at Jack.
    2:39
And I'm like, is that my dog? He's like, yeah. So I had to let him come down, sniff everybody. But it was just crazy. There was like eight people in here. I'm running around. I'm out of practice doing these session things. It was wild. I haven't seen Marshall or Dog show up in those videos yet. Maybe he will in the communion one. He's over on the right side down by the guy's legs in the Dread Laramie, I think, in one of them. I'm going to have to look for that. But maybe not any – probably none of the takes that we kept. So you'd have to look through the other footage. All right. Well –
    3:10
But I did play, as we talked about in the last episode, I played a match against a member of each band. Yeah. And I predicted that I would handily defeat whoever the dreaded Laramie chose, and I did that. It was Zach. And Zach chose the Beatles. The Beatles. Very tough game. I'm not that great at it. And Zach had a pretty good game. He's not really a pinball player.
    3:41
Yet. I don't think he'd ever played the Beatles pinball. So he put up like just under a million, which is solid on that game. It's respectable. I only shot like 1.6 or 1.7 million, but it was enough to beat him. I knew I would beat Zach just based on like experience. Yeah. Well, he was here a few months ago or earlier this year. Yeah. We didn't have Beatles though. No. But he likes pinball. Yeah. So he's future pinball evangelist, Zach, from the Dreaded Laramie.
    4:15
And then, as I expected, Kevin Tully from Telethon. We had to play a one-ball match on Led Zeppelin. He chose it. The band member gets to choose the game, and they get to choose if they play player one or player two. Kevin chose player one. Interesting. Very interesting choice. Usually you'd pick player two. Chose Zeppelin, chose player one. And I could tell straight away, like, he plunged the ball. I think maybe his skill shot trapped up and then hit this shot on the left
    4:47
where you pick, like, a task to start, like, a tour mode. And I'm like, ugh, he knows how to play this game. And he went ahead and shot, like, around about 50 million on ball one, which to me is very good. Like, I'd take that on a three-ball game on that machine. That machine's tough. and on ball one I shot like under 5 million. I shot like 4.9 million. So Kevin takes the W there.
    5:20
He was trying to say I would have beat him on a three ball, but we'll never know. It was a one-ball match. He won. We're going to have to have him back over, but you know what? Yeah, one-ball match is kind of hard because one ball can change it all. One ball can change it all, and sometimes you're setting stuff up. But I knew I had to go for it, one ball, and just the ball didn't bounce my way. Sometimes the sun shines on your face. Sometimes it doesn't. Yeah. Wise words. Yeah. Wise, wise words.
    5:52
All right, Mike, last two episodes. I've got to hold you to this. Last two episodes, I asked you about music suggestions because it is punk rock pinball, and we haven't really talked a lot about music thus far. Yeah. So are you prepared? And this is a music channel. It's a music YouTube channel, but now it's a music and pinball channel. The best. If you don't like it, I mean, I don't want you to unsubscribe, but there's going to be pinball stuff on here. And there's going to be, the music's coming back.
    6:23
But the music, we'll be doing more music. Like, we kind of went dormant the last year or so, but we're back. We're doing it. Yeah. So I'm going to give you a music suggestion today. Okay. I'm also going to make a punk rock pinball Spotify playlist with a bunch of my favorite music that you can enjoy on Spotify. I'll put a link in this description if it's done by then.
    6:54
I'll put it on our website, livefromtherockroom.com. But today's musical selection, I have the LP right here. Literally. And I'm going to preface this and say this band, I think, is the best band of this genre. I would call it like pop rock, even though that's not what that is. Pop rock, you might think Huey Lewis and the News.
    7:25
Yeah. Which is good. You might think Hall and Oates. Yeah. But I think of like pop rock, like kind of indie pop rock, punk adjacent, like Super Chunk. DIY indie artists. The Replacements. Yeah. Smoking Popes would fall in there. Yeah. We're a little more punky, but like Telethon would be in there. This band, I think, is maybe the best band to ever do this kind of music.
    7:55
And as a songwriter myself, it makes me feel like, what is even the point of writing more songs when these songs exist? They're so good. They're that good. And the band is The Beths. The album, you could choose any of their albums, but this one, Expert in a Dying Field, I highly recommend you start right there. Not a bad song on it. From New Zealand. And fun fact, I almost got them in the rock room in the early days.
    8:30
They used to be a tiny band. I discovered The Beths in like 2017 or 18. Yeah, when we were living in Westmont. Whatever year that they had an EP, it might have been called Whatever, with the song Whatever on it. And they were coming through Chicago, and I just sent them a Facebook message like I did so many bands back then, and they wanted to come. And then they wrote back like the next day, like the day before, maybe the day of, and said, we can't make it.
    9:03
We're just so knackered. They were knackered. And now they're huge. Like, we're never getting the best in here now. No, we try to get them to play in Bloomington. Unless we become like mega multimillionaires and we can just pony up, you know, 20 grand of our own money, have them come play the Castle Theater. That be cool I don know if the best even play for 20K Probably not They so big now Good for them And I think it partly because of me Oh really Yeah I think it partly because of me You know how many people I turned on to the best
    9:39
No. Josh Katerer, Eli Katerer, Tom Coonahan. Tom Daley? Tom Daley, Coonahan, Reuben Baird, Angie Baird. The list goes on and on. I probably turned 100 people on to the best. and everyone I've suggested try them out. They all like them. They're that good. They transcend like people into punk like them, people into just regular normal person pop music.
    10:09
They like them. Everyone likes them. I hope they're really nice people. I hope so too. I'm just going to think that they are. One thing about that album that you grabbed, I don't know if in the future you're going to share other things from our very small collection. We'll see. It's no MXV kind of collection. I think we have like maybe, I don't know, 60 albums up there, maybe. Yeah. There's a lot of duplicates. Yeah. Some like of your stuff in there. Yeah. But in order for us to have an album, we have to love the whole thing.
    10:42
There can't be a stinker of a song on it. So the Beths actually was one of the first albums we got once we put that rule into place. Yeah. They're just that good. They are that good. What else happened? Oh, my gosh. I placed an order on a website called T-Nuts. N-U-T-Z, I believe. It kind of sounds dirty, but they make extruded aluminum items, and you're probably like, okay, Stephanie, why did you do that?
    11:15
Well, I'll tell you. I am going well I'm in the process of making a rig that we can put um between the machines so that we can do some live streaming of pinball action and what I'm envisioning is the next time that a band comes over and challenges Mike we'll be able to create a small short video of the gameplay so you can see Mike versus Josh Caterer Mike versus the singer from the Beths we don't
    11:48
know we don't know what the future holds but I also think I don't want to interrupt you go ahead but if you're here I would like the bands to also challenge you but I think it'd be funnier that if they beat me they have to play you so you can like you can avenge me oh okay all right yeah Like if I lose, they've got to play you and you can like defend the house. Yeah. Okay. You know? Yeah. So to like really be the champion of the punk rock pinball house, you have to beat the both of us. The two bosses. And you had to pick a different game than you picked against me.
    12:20
Okay. So next time Kevin comes back and he beats me on a game, then he's going to have to face you. On Black Knight. And she'll get you. Oh, speaking of which, we have a Black Knight. Yeah. How'd we get that? well before we go there let me finish talking about my streaming i'm sorry my rig there but i just that popped in my mind i know that was funny it is funny but i do like that i i love that idea actually so the streaming rig is going to be super awesome i keep saying streaming but maybe we'll
    12:51
just like record it and put it out i don't know we're not super techie we don't know how to do all of that stuff yet. But there'll be some pinball action content on here coming soon. And again, if that's not your jam, just skip that one and wait for the next band video. There's plenty for everyone. It's like a cornucopia of visual stuff. So that's happening. The other big news this week is we achieved a new milestone in our pinball machine ownership.
    13:27
Since we got the JAWS 50th, we've been talking about the JAWS Pro that we got that started this whole obsession a little over a year ago. We can't have two JAWS machines. That's just outrageous. That's outrageous. So we've been talking about do we sell it? We were asking friends if anybody wanted to buy it. No takers there. That would have been really easy, but nobody wanted it, and that's okay. So then we're thinking about listing it on Pinside, but we went to a tournament the other night in Peoria at Landmark.
    14:04
Yeah. And our friend CJ, who's the operator there, brought in a Black Knight. Sword of Rage. The newest. Black Knight, a couple years old now. And I had a moment on that game. I got like $190-something million. And the game that I used to fear playing, I felt like we can be friends. I can be friends with the Black Knight now. So I think we drove home that night talking about it, hopped on Pinside,
    14:40
looked to see if anybody was selling one. There was a guy in Fort Worth, sorry, Fort Wayne, Indiana, who was selling a pro Black Knight. I reached out and I said, would you be interested in trading for a Jaws pro with all of these lovely add-ons that we'd put on, Art Blades, some cool mods? And the guy said, yeah. Yeah. This Black Knight had only 37 plays on it. Our Jaws had almost 3,500 or maybe just over 3,500.
    15:10
Most of them were just played by you and I. Yeah, I think I played it like 1,200 times. But she was still a beaut. Oh, my God. She was in great shape. Yeah. You're dropping your stuff. My notes? You're dropping your notes. So, yeah, the guy said yes. He accepted the offer on Saturday night, and he actually drove his machine out here to Bloomington, Illinois, and did the trade. Yeah, like they loaded it in. They loaded the jaws out. We paid him. It's like a four-hour drive from there to here. And we paid him $100 gas money.
    15:43
Yeah. Boom. Now we've got a black knight in the house. Oh, my gosh. And it beats the shit out of me. It is so fun. It's so fun. So it's a good addition to the collection. Yeah. But now we're on a freeze. For a minute. Or like six months. For a minute. Or like six months. There's all these rumors of new games. Like the spooky distributors now have all come out that they're taking a list, they're keeping a log.
    16:17
If you want the next spooky, you can contact your spooky distributor, like Flippin' Out Pinball. Tilt Amusements, we'd say contact them. But Troy, as far as I know, doesn't deal. He's not a spooky dealer. I don't think he's just a stern dealer. but they're taking a list. What's the theme? The rumors are that the theme is either the strongest rumor is Beetlejuice. The other rumor is Gremlins.
    16:50
Okay. I think maybe they have both. Both exciting in ways. Yeah. Both exciting. I'm sure they're going to be great. I'm hoping some of you folks that own Evil Deads want to sell your Evil Dead when that happens for less than $15,000. And then maybe we can get an Evil Dead when you all order the new Beetlejuice. Yeah, the Beetlejuice, I'm more excited to see that. I don't know if I would want it, but I'd be more excited to play a Beetlejuice than a Gremlins.
    17:24
I think I'm the opposite. it i think i'd rather play the gremlins i just think that the beetlejuice with what's um tim burton like his visual stuff is so cool what was the little gremlin guy's name gizmo yeah gizmo and striper i had that little dude you did a little gizmo when i was a little kid i liked him i had to kept him around did you get him wet i don't think i got him wet did you feed him after I never fed them after midnight. What did you feed them? I don't remember.
    17:54
It was a long time. I was a little kid. But I like to play Gremlins. We need to watch the movie because we couldn't remember what happens if you get them wet versus feeding them. One of them, I think, made them, like, multiply. Yeah, I think when they get wet, they multiply. The wetness? How did the bad guy come about? Yeah, the bad green gremlin? I don't think he was green. Striper. Wasn't his name Striper? No, but like the little lizard-looking guys. I don't even remember that. We need to watch Gremlins. I don't think that. I don't think there were lizard guys.
    18:25
Well, not lizard, but like they're like green guys, aren't they? No. I got to look this up. No. They weren't. They were also fuzzy, but like mean looking. Were they fuzzy? I'm pretty sure. You might be right. I don't know. It's been a long time. I haven't seen it. 1984 that came out. 41 years ago. Well, they were kind of green. Oh, I guess they were. They were kind of green. They had like a white mohawk. Yeah. I'll try to put a picture up here. Yeah, they're definitely kind of lizard-ish looking fangs. Gizmo was cute.
    18:55
Yeah, Gizmo was cool. So all right I not putting our name on a list No we not going to be on that list Do you think they taking money I not sure if they taking money They probably will if you want to give them money Probably I don know a pinball distributor that wouldn take your money if you offering But I don't know if it's required, if money is required, because I don't think it's technically a preorder yet. I think they're just, they've been like given the okay to make a list.
    19:26
Just make a list. We won't be on the list, but I'll be on the list for your Evil Dead if Evil Dead ever gets back to under 10, maybe. Yeah, that one is like really fun. But we are on a pause. But then what are you going to do when this John Borg Star Wars comes? What are you going to do when Pokemon comes? What are you going to do with the next Jack Danger? I'm holding on to that. What are we going to do? What can you do?
    19:56
There's going to be like no money and no room at some point. I mean, we've got room all back there. We could fit probably 10 back there behind the camera there. Yeah. Plenty of room. Just need that money. That's just a future problem. We'll figure that out. We're good problem solvers. All right, Mike, time for you to choose. Okay. I was just trying to look at what the last You Choose was, and it was about redesigning a pinball machine.
    20:32
You chose Star Trek. Anyways. We're going to redo the art on the Stern Star Trek. Yeah. So here's your You Choose. You are in a tournament, final tournament. Okay. It's four players. So I've done a rare feat, made the finals. I don't make the final four very often. I've maybe done it twice. Well, this is like at the end of like when we do our tournament here in a couple weeks, there's going to be a daytime one and a nighttime one.
    21:05
This is the nighttime one, and people are drinking. They're having a good old time. So you made it. Congratulations. I made it. Woo! Congratulations, Mike. so you're in the finals with lily aaron reddick yeah and joey okay joey won our last tournament here yeah finished and then we did like a strikes tournament after he got second in that one so joey's good yeah he's a great player
    21:37
you in this weird you for some reason you get to pick the machine that you're going to play these three and like joe and cj they just like they're just hanging out in the backyard because they just over serve themselves so you're playing these four they ate too many hot dogs too many hot dogs too many drinks too many whatevers you choose what game the four of you are going to play
    22:08
this is going to be a game that in the strikes tournament here last time i played joey on and he crushed me but that was a fluke on that game he's good but he had a fluky good game and i didn't play to what my standards are on this game and i think you can see a bit of it right there. It's the Stern Pirates of the Caribbean.
    22:39
And if we're betting, I'm going to bet I'm going to win that match. Okay. I'm going to win. And I don't care if these folks are wasted or not. I'm winning on the Pirates of the Caribbean. Okay. So maybe in our next tournament, we can orchestrate this match. We can. I can play Lily and Joey and Aaron. They're all going to be here. Yeah. And we'll all go put a dollar in. Yeah. In between our, we're doing like a one o'clock tournament, six o'clock tournament. In between there, we're all going to pony up a dollar.

Dollar game. And play for money. Okay. And we're going to stream it. If we have the stuff built up. Yeah. Or we can record it. Yeah. I mean, if we get that, there are parts to the rig that you don't even know where they go yet. Well, it's 95% there. There's like a handful of parts. Like, I don't know where these go. I don't know. I don't understand where they go. It's like built. I just need to put some wheels on it. But, yeah, there's like a handful of screws and these weird silver plates. I have no idea what they're for. If anybody knows on the pinball streaming rig, order from T-Nuts.
    23:46
From T-Nuts.com. These like silver plates. Where the hell does that go on? I honestly think it has to do with the wheels. Okay. Well, if we have the capability to record it, we'll record that match, and I'm going to win. I love it. I'm going to win. I'm usually not confident about winning at pinball, but on that machine in this house, I'm going to win. All right. Yeah. All right. That was a good U2s. Yeah. That's the only machine here that I would be confident that I would have a chance to win.
    24:21
We've got 15, and that's the only game where I can reliably do what I think is better than most people. Just that game. Not Led Zeppelin. No, not Led Zeppelin. What the hell? What the heck? Let me get this light plugged in real quick. You keep talking. I will keep talking. So very interesting. On this rig, I think it's like the rig that all of the kind of the pro dudes,
    24:53
the guys who are doing like the pinball streaming use. I found these parts on a forum. I didn't just randomly buy these extruded aluminum pieces. But everybody gave like the part list. So I just went on the website and ordered the parts. But there are no instructions. It's just all these parts and screws. It's all these parts and these people are like, it was very intuitive how to put it together. Maybe if you know how to like tear apart a pinball machine and put it back together, but that is not me.
    25:26
So, you know. Well, you did a really good job. well it's not it's like 95 but i would have never even gotten to where you where you got it well thanks yeah i appreciate that i appreciate also for the record this is not a cold sore this morning in the shower i put some soap on my hands and i went to wash my face and my thumbnail gently touched my lip but maybe not so gently and split it open like it was clearly it was
    25:58
bleeding. So I got out of the shower and I told Mike, I'm telling my parents because I was going to see them for my mom's birthday. I'm telling my parents, you did this to me. I didn't. But when I walked into my parents' house, they thought I had a cold sore. My sister started laughing and I was like, listen, not a cold sore. You're never going to believe what happened. Without missing a beat, my dad goes, did you cut it with your thumbnail? I'm like, yeah, I did. And he's like, oh yeah, I've done that before. I've never heard of anybody doing that before.
    26:29
Did he do it while washing his face? No, he did it in his sleep. Oh. But he knew it was his thumbnail because it was a little long. I don't know. Has that ever happened to you? You ever been washing your face and you hit your thumbnail on your lip? Has that ever happened to you? To the Wysockis, yes. Oh, my gosh. Oh, it's a dream theme. Oh, yeah. And it's your turn to choose a dream theme.
    27:01
What is a pinball theme that would be your dream? Well, I thought of a lot about this. And one of, you know, I like movies. Who doesn't like movies? And my last couple dream themes were Goonies, Twin Peaks, and Wonder Woman. But Linda Carter Wonder Woman is the caveat to that. So I was thinking about, like, what movies do I love to watch that might be fun?
    27:33
Actually, I got another good one. But I'm going to save it. This one I'm going to go with a movie that every time it's on, I have to stop. I have to watch the whole thing. Kill Bill, volume one. Like, Uma Thurman, she's such a badass. She goes to, like, you know, to go after Bill. Go find, she doesn't even know she has a kid. How many enemies does she have to go get in that?
    28:06
Isn't she going through and getting these? She's got, like, a list. All the snakes. How many are there? um i feel like i should know this she has to get um daryl hannah in the beginning when she's the nurse yeah then she gets i think is it like the black lady who is serving her kid breakfast okay i don know the movie nearly as well as you but um i take your word for that and then she goes um like there the whole sword preparation stuff where she where she goes over to Japan and then Lucy Liu she has to get her is that her name Lucy Liu
    28:45
I don't know. We'll go with that. I think that's her name. We can look at the cast. I think that's her name. Like in real life, I think that's her name. Anyways, she has to go, and that's like the boss battle of the first movie, where she has to get through her whole gang. It's not just a one-on-one. It is like... Lucy Liu, that's her name, yeah. Lucy Liu. She doesn't fight David Carradine in there, does she, in that one? No. That's in volume two.
    29:16
So is it Vivica Fox? Does she fight her? Yes. She fights Uma Thurman. No, she fights Daryl Hannah. She fights Lucy Liu. She fights Vivica Fox. Yeah. I'm just thinking that you could have a little, like, mini wizard mode for each of these deals. You know? Yeah. Does she, like, go, like, get trained up in Japan? Well, she did years ago. That kind of comes out in Kill Bill Vol. 2. Okay.
    29:46
Where she goes, and it's kind of like Kung Fu, the TV show. It's the Shaolin monks, and she studies with that guy with the long, like, he wears white and he has the long beard. It's very Kung Fu, which is very David Carradine. So she's already done all... Was that like before she goes and kills these people in Kill Bill Volume 1? It's like when she got trained. Okay. Yeah. So you might want to do Volume 1 and 2 and you've got these training modes. Yeah. Do the training modes and then fight the different bosses. Yeah. Just saying, consider it.
    30:17
I think it would be cool. Yes. I think there should be also two, Volume 1 and Volume 2. I know I said Volume 1 because I love the cover of that, and it is my favorite of the two. But I think there should be an option like in Evil Dead where you can choose, do you want to play Volume 1? Or would you like to play Volume 2? You choose. But you could have really fun toys in there. You could have the pussy wagon that she crawls out into in the beginning.
    30:51
You could have the whole wedding scene. It should be a sword probably somehow. Huge sword. You could almost do like a Deadpool type sword. Yeah. It's okay to rehash a Deadpool sword. Yeah. Just make it look different. Just make it look cool. Yeah. I mean, the Deadpool one is cool. The Deadpool one is cool. So, yeah, that's what I would do. And I would probably have Stern make it. but on this one I want Stern to do something a little bit different. I want everybody to just get the same one, one model.
    31:22
It's a one model deal here. So lots of like think premium, like it's, it's going to be not the pro, not the LE, the premium. So all this stuff, but enough room that if you want to mod it, you can mod it. You can do a few little extras, but there's going to be some really cool toys in there. So it's one model. It's almost like, what would you think about, I kind of really like what Jersey Jack did with Harry Potter.
    31:54
Yes. Where there are three models, but the play field and the stuff in the play field, the toys and everything, other than like gold wire forms. But the shots, the toys, everything under the glass is the same. Yeah, I like that. With the arcade, the wizard, and the collector's edition. So would it be okay for Stern to do three models? With different cabinet art? Different cabinet art, and then the top one is going to have your topper, and it's going to have Invisiglass and a shaker,
    32:26
and like all of the things that you put on later. So they could do three models, but the play field is exactly the same. I'm totally cool with that, but I want the pro to have the cool art. So what have they done? When I say the cool art, I mean the art from the movie poster, the yellow and the black. I want that one to be the pro. Jaws, like the Ellie Jaws and the pro Jaws. I didn't like their art. Original. Well, the Ellie and the pro had the same back glass. Yeah.
    32:57
Yes. Premium had the different. Yeah. I didn't like the premium. I didn't either. I like the Jaws 50th back glass. It's my favorite. If that were mirrored like the LE, that would be badass. But you could do the same back glass. I think you should maybe do the same back glass on all of them. But maybe different back glass, but like do an LE with the mirrored one. You know, the Pro might be the same that doesn't have the mirrored. Yeah, yeah.
    33:28
Well, the Pro is going to have the yellow and black. Okay. There can be yellow and black elements to the Premium and the LE. Maybe the LE has like, you know, the powder. Well, it's going to have the powder quote and all kinds of stuff. But so you just want like power to the people and you want. Yeah. You want the people to have the affordable, the best art at the affordable. I wouldn't. Yes. Affordable. Exactly. Affordable. Yeah. The one that you're probably going to see out in the, you know, different locations.
    34:01
I want that's the one I want to see. Yeah. So. Gotcha. Yeah. that's what i want to do and the layout's going to be designed by i feel like i say jack danger every time but this is not a jack danger job this one's got to be kind of mean should be like fast and furious game yeah because they're fighting fast and furious nasty really really tough some makeable shots but like some ass kicking shots
    34:31
It's a Borg job. John Borg. Call him up. We got a job for you. Mm-hmm. I think, I mean, Tarantino, they did do a Pulp Fiction pinball machine. Which is super fun. It's really fun. It was one that Sophie's Choice you gave me. I could only pick one. I didn't pick that one, but I really do really, really like that game. It's a good game. so i mean it's it's been done like a tarantino pinball exists so maybe it could happen maybe
    35:03
stern could get this i feel like that would be a good theme for people like i think that might sell i don't know i feel like it would sell but it's hard it's hard to say i mean you have this like badass lady running around like i love that it seems like like i don't know there's just so so many of these themes i know ripley's is not like this but they seem just so like masculine themes yeah venom yeah deadpool it's like nerd boy themes x-men which is fine but like i feel like
    35:41
and their gender i mean like x-men are gender neutral but like i think it would be cool to show like this badass lady and i think lady players and guy players can get excited about that Yeah. What do you think the demographic is on X-Men fans, though? It's got to be like 70 percent dudes. No, I think you're wrong about that. Am I wrong? Like the Marvel Universe. I used to know the stats. Ladies are into Marvel? Families are into Marvel. Families. Like families, mom, dad and the kids. Yeah, it's a thing.
    36:13
So the thing is like we're not really into Marvel. I think it's because we're a little too. Like at all. We weren't really into comic books. We have a bunch of Marvel pinball machines. They're great. We have two X-Men machines. I don't give a shit about X-Men. And a Venom. I got a Venom. What else Marvel do we have? Is that the only three? I think that's it. But I like Deadpool. Like, I would have a Deadpool. Yeah, it's a pretty fun game. The movies are funny, but, like, I just don't care. I don't care about Marvel stuff. But for me, it's, like, is the game fun?
    36:45
Yeah. Like, if the theme is there, then great. That's maybe why we like Jaws so much. Oh, my God, Jaws. Oh, my God, I love that game. All right, we're a little over this time. So, 36 minutes. Lord, it went by fast. Well, you know what to do. Like, subscribe, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But really what we want you to do is leave a comment and let us know, do you like the stream theme? if you got to choose the ultimate game for your final play in a tournament,
    37:23
what game do you choose? Yeah, what's your go-to game? What's your, like, safety blanket game? Do you think you could beat Mike at Pirates of the Caribbean, the Stern machine? A lot of you probably could. Maybe not here, though. Yeah, so. Got special things on this one. Leave us a comment. Let us know what you think. if you have any band recommendations for the playlist or band recommendations for touring bands that might be traveling between I don't know. Chicago and St. Louis.
    37:56
Indianapolis and St. Louis. Milwaukee to St. Louis. Come on over. Get on in here. That's all we got. Yeah. Alright, I gotta go to bed. Toodaloo.
