So we went through briefly the rules, but we're going to go through it for realsies this time. We're going to play against each other, and then once we figure things out, we're going to co-op, because that's one of the cool things you can do with Total Nuclear Annihilation. Arzu, welcome to the stream. I happen to love this game as well. This is like the perfect pinball party game, especially for people who don't know how to play pinball. There was like 18 P words in that sentence. I feel like that was an entire paragraph of alliteration. It felt amazing. Sorry, it felt perfect. Oh, just had to make sure of time. And if you can light three of those, you get a white one of these that gets lit. And if a ball comes down one of the white lit lanes, it actually gives you 10 seconds of ball save. And by the way I got the reactor on. I don't know what that means but I can see it. No, no, no. You unlocked it and Oh, drained it. No, you got a ball save. Okay. You unlocked it and then started it. I did. I got it down the stairs. Oh, I just don't know how to get it up there. Oh, not mystery award? Why is there two webcams? What are the mystery awards? A mystery award is... So I'm going to set it to the O, and then I'm going to try and soft plunge into there as opposed to going all the way around. Or the other thing you might do is soft plunge and have it come down without going into there. Okay. And that's that top section up there. So I'm going to try that. Wow, that was so bad. Cool. Now, the thing about the grid, unlocking the grid, is that it's a super dangerous shot. You did do it, though. So what I want to do is get into a multiball first before I do that. So I'm going to try to get the ball over to the right. You're asking me how you are. Georgia Zoo, I'm doing wonderful. How are you, sir? just gonna get all these multivolts right now are you still slapping the machine? I thought we weren't supposed to slap this one. No no no you can always nudge forward it's the sideways slabs don't work all that well here this thing weighs like a million pounds it's a really hard it has like a low center of gravity our suit, grit is super dangerous honestly not really man I feel like I drain yeah call me out I feel like I drain every time I go for the grid, especially this third target, depending on which side you shoot from. Now, I guess the first one from the left or third from the right. Okay. Well, actually, I guess it would be the second index from the right if it's a zero-based numbering system. I know, it's bad. All right, so here we go. You got Stranger Things in the tent. That's awesome. Awesome. I'm doing good, excited to play Stranger Things on the 10th. I am excited to play that as well. Oh, okay, the ball locks. So what I'm trying to do in this multiball... Grid, you unlocked the grid. Cool. Grid is unlocked, which is what I was trying to do during the multiball. Now I want to start my reactor by hitting it into the scoop. Totally works. Boom. Alright, reactor is started. Now what I want to do is hit the right or the left orbit. They are both going to stop the ball from going completely around, orbiting. So what angle are you hitting this from the right side? It's like 90% from the right. There. That's right there, boo. Nice. A lot easier to do, in my opinion, from the right. The left is a really hard shot, but the right is super easy. Problem is it does that. What I need it to do is bounce around in there. And hit all of your reactors. And you just keep skipping. Nope. How is it even on this one? You can hit the tilt-bob and make it freak out. Yes. Even on this one. Well, this one I feel like has a really sensitive tilt-bob. You can see it moving around. It will never stop moving now for the rest of the game. Oh, cool. So you just totally messed me up. Yes. Also, Jorgazoo is right. You got a ball safe. In my opinion, this game needs to be played where you are always multiballing. If there's an opportunity to be multiballing or if you're like, huh, I could do A or B. I'm so sorry, you went straight down the middle. It's okay. But, you know, the cool thing is you're ready to start your reactor. I was ready at the beginning of that ball. Remember, if you can plunge it up into the center, you get a free one of those. Also, pro tip, if you hold the right flipper when the left scoop shoots out, you can get a near-immediate ball control 80% of the time. Hold out the right flipper when the left scoop... Oh, yes. I prefer just to catch it, but that's too much. All right, so what's nice here, this is really good, right? I'm going to let the ball save time out so I can discuss this. But I'm going to lock a ball, and what that's going to do is give me an opportunity to re-plunge up into the top, which is going to give me a very easy, safe way to try and overheat. Right? There's a ball safe. Now, before this auto-plunges, I did not... What percentage did you want to hit on that kickball off? I don't know. That's a really good question. He doesn't know, but he did it again. It's fine. The same percentage he wants to soft launch? Oh, no. Here we go. Nice. Ah! Give me the shot! Alright, I guess we're going to try for this right orbit now. MPT-3K, welcome to the stream. All right, there goes ball two. They're calling these the old soft-plunge doors. Now while it's up there, keep it up there. Because I can control that. Well, there is a flipper up there. Correct. I know, muffler, we totally need more beer. Oh, man. Gross! Libations for everyone. Now, here's the other cool thing is while you have, for every ball in play, it's a playfield multiplier. And you get a bonus for each destroyer and the lights going off. Awesome. It's cool. So if I was going for points, I would try to get into a multiball. Okay. Of all the times I actually wanted to soft punch that, that's perfect. Wow. Wow! Now, I believe there might be a command about backhanding that destroy. There we go! Nice! Alright, so we got our first reactor destroyed, and on ball three, honestly, that is pretty awesome. Unless you didn't hit the reactor in the straight all, so that's fine. There we go. We're going to try and start the reactor. All right. All right, now we're going to try and overheat. Make sure it's not moving, you folks. So we're just going to tap that to get the balls to come down, have a little bit more control. Do a little over-under like that. There we go, let's go left. Right. Did not get there. But! You got a million, I'm betting. Ah, with the... No, only 52,000. Okay! First game in the books. Apparently the hardware is all still working. you guys can see. Or, rather, less dangerous, you can be in multiball. And you can continue going back into multiball. And then the other component is the save down here, which is where you can move an active save to a lane that you're about to drain in in order to activate a ball save. Which gives you 10 seconds of protection. Which is pretty amazing. Yes! Okay. Alright. Welcome to the future. Alright. Looks like the student has surpassed the master. That is not true. So, um, I agree, it's one of those you kind of have to play it, and you might find that you, even though it's unexpected, you really, really enjoy it. For me, now some people might not agree that it's scary, but for me I feel like I am very likely to go right into an out lane or right into the middle when I'm shooting for it so what I want to do is get back into multivolve that went out the tube obviously it's the safer thing to do short plunging short plunging just the tip George and Steph I know, there's a lot going on here. All right. That thing can swing for up to 30 seconds, and I'm talking about pinball. No, by the way, I have heard that it can swing for up to eight minutes. Also talking about pinball.
