Thank you. Hello! Hello, my name is George, and this show is Don't Panic Flip, and tonight we are playing some Total Nuclear Annihilation. We're going to go through the rule set, thoughts on how to play it, and with me tonight I have Christine, our guest, who is going to be learning this game. I gave her the 10 second intro beforehand. She really wanted to know how to play it, but I kept saying, but I have to go through the tutorial now, but she couldn't take no for an answer. So we went through briefly the rules, but we're going to go through it for realsies this time. We're going to play against each other, and then once we figure things out, we're going to co-op, because that's one of the cool things you can do with Total Nuclear Annihilation. Arzu, welcome to the stream. I happen to love this game as well. This is like the perfect pinball party game, especially for people who don't know how to play pinball. There was like 18 P words in that sentence. I feel like that was an entire paragraph of alliteration. It felt amazing.

And if you can light three of those, you get a white one of these that gets lit. And if a ball comes down one of the white lit lanes, it actually gives you 10 seconds of ball save. And by the way I got the reactor on. I don't know what that means but I can see it. No, no, no. You unlocked it and Oh, drained it. No, you got a ball save.

A lot easier to do, in my opinion, from the right. The left is a really hard shot, but the right is super easy. Problem is it does that. What I need it to do is bounce around in there. And hit all of your reactors. And you just keep skipping.

In my opinion, this game needs to be played where you are always multiballing. If there's an opportunity to be multiballing or if you're like, huh, I could do A or B. I'm so sorry, you went straight down the middle. It's okay. But, you know, the cool thing is you're ready to start your reactor. I was ready at the beginning of that ball. Remember, if you can plunge it up into the center, you get a free one of those. Also, pro tip, if you hold the right flipper when the left scoop shoots out, you can get a near-immediate ball control 80% of the time. Hold out the right flipper when the left scoop... Oh, yes. I prefer just to catch it, but that's too much.

But I'm going to lock a ball, and what that's going to do is give me an opportunity to re-plunge up into the top, which is going to give me a very easy, safe way to try and overheat. Right?

Or, rather, less dangerous, you can be in multiball. And you can continue going back into multiball. And then the other component is the save down here, which is where you can move an active save to a lane that you're about to drain in order to activate a ball save. Which gives you 10 seconds of protection. Which is pretty amazing. Yes! Okay. Alright. Welcome to the future. Alright. Looks like the student has surpassed the master. That is not true. You have an attractive, fun pinball friend. I miss my attractive, fun pinball friend. I miss Audrey as well, MPT3K. Okay, alright.
