difficulties because it was completely my fault prior to the stream I realized that Black Knight sword of Rage was running 097 code so I wanted to update to 1.0 I updated the PIN to 1.0 and we realized that the upper right flipper wasn't working pirate kep red eye with a th000 bits thank you so much and pinquest starting us with the 2500 bits to get us going guys thank you so very much thank you guys uh so long story short I realized that I updated the Le with Pro code in which case the pinball machine didn't even realize I had a third flipper yep an update back to Le did not work so I had to go ahead and download an SD card image for Le version 1.0 and we installed it and got it going so that was totally my fault let's start a a three-player game with Black Knight sword of rage and then uh when Steve Ritchie gets here which should be any minute we will get him downstairs now this is the thing with Steve guys so Steve has uh hearing issues he's got uh um Minor's disease or uh I think that's how you pronounce it Eric no not ER K miners Min and it's just what Steve hears is not what we hear so he kind of hears vibrations and sounds and where some things he can pick up better than others so what'll end up happening is we'll we'll turn the audio the game down a little bit um and then you're absolutely welcome to ask him any questions in chat because obviously he can read that and he can reply uh it's not that he can't hear at all but it's just it's a challenging thing depending on the day in T and and honestly I mean when we did the uh the one interview with him dude he could pick up your voice real well and mine was like white noise dude he couldn't hear anything so um I don't think it was uh so the professional broadcasting voice that you have Billy was not little early and we can all get out something to eat cuz he did ask to eat right not just him he's like let's go get some food try to so maybe he left Stern at 7:30 and he went to his favorite restaurant to get some food and he just got kind of got tied up and now he's still on the way over well the only thing that sucks dude is his home is on the way is is he couldn't have forgotten would be it's closer than here so there's there's a background story to scheduling the stream so funny and uh I I'm not going to get into the details of that but it it was confirmed on the calendar so unless something drastic drastic had happened I and I hope that's not the case and I don't want to concern anybody because again it could it could have just be uh this might not be a priority for Steve I I don't I don't know that to be true or or not true I hope that's not the fact because doubt that's the case yeah he knew we were bringing Black Knight out of the uh out of the woodwork to to give it another stream so it's no big deal and again we've got George Gomez that's supposed to be coming in on uh Friday of next week I'm gonna make sure that uh that I send an Uber for him so he doing here is is might not be a priority but I know that there's no blatant disrespect involved by Steve not being here so that that's kind of what leads me to a little bit of concern I hope that he's had somebody that was on our uh Facebook page because I had expressed my excitement for the pin and he's like well you probably have a few years on me which led me to believe because I'm like an older guy like I lusted after alvir and it's not the case I was never a huge lustful Elvira fan per se as a kid growing up it was impossible to ignore her but for me it was like it's it's the campy horror and and Dennis on that pin those guys you know they were the driving force behind the first two pins so I that's what makes me excited about the game yeah and I mean it because you're the same age as I I mean really all alv was doing was like Bud Light commercials when we were kids and it was like yeah she had her meat hanging out and that was about it and I was like ah we grew with Sly I was just thinking of that well s still around and he's yeah she was but but you know the other thing I'm interested to hear who's GNA be the other call out voice because that's actually my other favorite part style making a white claw themed pinball machine oh that's actually not a horrible idea no that's that is a horrible I didn't I didn't realize white claw was as trendy as it was um because that the seltz the spike seltzers have been out for 6 to 12 months like they've been around but I guess White Clause the the brand to go to I don't I don't know enough about it I really don't I don't know what do you what do you now you're not like somebody that likes to partake in a lot of alcoholic beverages correct correct yeah I've never tried whiteclaw it sounds if if you if you were to it sounds if you were to like get in let's say you're a tpf or if in a Dream Land you came to Expo this year and you were going to and thank you uh moner bash 988 like is there is there like a go-to like drink that you are you feel comfortable consuming is is that something that's in your something in your repertoire oh well uh yeah usually you'll do like hard ciders or if you want something a little stronger though with all the shenanigans with Dutch pinball I tend to avoid it nowadays would be white Russians oh White Russians White Russians are pretty good that's the style right little calories up vodka milk little kala yeah it's like heavy cream or something yeah yeah that's good I White Russian goes down very smooth it does it's like the dairy it's like the crystalite of dairy yeah cuz you can mix any alcohol with crystalite and it's absolutely passable for like a pretty good drink yeah sure have you now have you had and I don't mean to you know skew the conversation to alcoholic uh driven things here but have you had uh Fireball because Fireball seems to be like a popular shot of choice in the pinball Community uh lately maybe once I don't remember it yeah well that's what it'll do so let's let's say no because probably not no or or I did and I don't have any memory of it which is also possible yep well so shifting we're rering the ship of State here back to uh back to pinball when are you going to be streaming Cosmic carnival on this channel I was promised a carnival now the boss Zack many would have shipped us a cosmic Carnival I think um if you wanted us to stream that I I think the thing is this like from a business standpoint if he sends a cosmic Carnival because there are so many limited it's so limited it's a yeah like 100 would it would it drive anything like this it's called pinball for y'all and what I'm going to be doing is taking um tourists and uh groups of corporate uh parties to a pinball arcade teaching them maybe an hour of flipper skills little strategy and then running a tournament for him uh winner gets a trophy I've already had one group come through they loved it I'm going up against stuff like Top Golf and battle axes and dude like rooms so I'm trying to I'm trying to T tap in on on a very very um muchus uh business plan for other events I think you should just teach like 30 minutes of uh death saves no okay so like to learn that so you had one group come through and you get and you had some great feedback yeah that's pretty huge manam that's that's awesome man I'm not I'm not really gonna I'm Not Really Gonna teach like for 30 or 45 minutes I'm really just gonna kind of walk around and and you know show them a few things here and there let them kind of discover stuff for themselves sure yeah and then uh and then and then like the first group that came through um Everybody voted on their top three games um and they ended up playing about six or seven rounds of match play which uh in in the whole team building World um getting getting people to interact with each other that they normally wouldn't is kind of a big part of it and uh it really worked out well um I think there was four girls out of the 12 in going to be here for the last week went upstairs and because of it don't sweat it hey I feel I feel bad for Steve I know he wanted to be there I'm sure I'm sure that he'll he'll probably make it up to what's going to happen is people start feeling a level of success because people that go up to a pinball machine that don't know what they're doing they just flip to survive when when skill is introduced it changes the whole dynamic of the game and and and I like that you're doing that I think that's awesome I love it man yeah yeah yeah if you read the website you know my my one of my focuses is to grow the hobby you know we're really passionate my my my business partner Chris right and I we're both we're both tournament Players but you know we're we're in a we're in a brand new market in Nashville and we've got we've got a lot of new arcades opening up and some of them are owned by very good personal friends of ours and we don't want them to go belly up so with with the rapid growth that hopefully we get a lot of uh not not only like people from out of town but local businesses will hopefully do their their Christmas parties with us corporate events and yeah dude if you're if you're if you're working for somebody if you're working for somebody that's got enough money to pay for an event like like going to top golf or something like this yeah those employees probably have enough money to purchase a machine too so we're looking at you know hopefully getting some sponsorships with some some Distributors and you know help pay for some of these events because I have to rent out an arcade in order to do this I don't own well listen Glenn if if I can help at all like my full-time job I'm in commercial vinyl signage decals and printing if I can offer anything to donate to your cause uh just just reach out to me because I'd be happy to do that we we don't even have a logo yet I just talked to a couple people today we're we're trying to get some you know it's an actual we have an LLC we got that it's like two and a half weeks old now so we're working on hiring someone to to draw us up a l go um and uh and and we're just not sure how far we're going to take it you know neither of us are quitting our full-time jobs we're just going to do this a couple days a week if we're lucky enough and and in the meantime hopefully it grows and if we can invest it in in in real estate and eventually have our own facility that'd be even better maybe invest it in a bunch of uh Yellow Brick Road Edition uh jjp games that'd be the road the road to jjp is paved in but uh yeah I started out with one of uh Zach's favorite machines a Back to the Future Data East yeah BT and then I quickly uh found another Data East Robocop and uh you know just started to graduate above and uh oh man RoboCop's awesome it's got the ramp and everything um little uh yeah then recently I kind of cleared out the pins and I've went with a Deadpool Pro now how are you liking Deadpool because we had conversations about your Deadpool purchase prior to you jumping in on it like do you have any remorse or regrets on that game no man I love it you know and I I think it's uh it's a testament to me as a pinball fanatic because it got my wife and kids into pinball very cool one of those things where um we in love with the pro and I love the pro artwork and I couldn't really justify doing the premium just because it was like well but I already like this why would I change it up so yeah that and um probably thinking a Jurassic Park premium might be next uh have you played Jurassic Park Pro yet oh yeah I played it a bunch oh yeah okay so you did your whole video on Jass Park Pro I I cannot wait to play the premium because the pro is so satisfying fing as is it is anything on that it's literally going to be like what I or or metaphorically going to be like the icing on the cake um because that's such a fun game now listen Lucas we we have some people that are my whole collection and I took the money for that collection and I dumped it into pinball streaming and I'm redoing my whole garage into a game room I'm upgrading all the equipment it's going to be sweet I I'm all in as as far as taking content and providing it and and and furthering the exposure of pinball I literally sacrificed my collection which is fine I will be able to rebuild it over time but that's I swear to God that's what I did with my collection it's it's gone and I'm putting it into pinball content so um it's you know this isn't my full-time job doing this it's something that I enjoy doing and uh luckily for me like Zach is is sending machines here so I'm it's not like I'm I'm not roughing it out here I'm playing new machines all the time it's great uh but I did absolutely put my money where my mouth was by liquidating my uh my personal collection in order to uh make this something that nobody else is doing and this again this is just a tip tip just just a tip just a like I found something that interested me more than just collecting like I'm trying to expand the Hobby and when Zach talked to me about teaming up and doing something like this I couldn't have asked for a better partner to do this with and uh you know no doubt we we'll skip subjects here because it's not like this big expose on me and my decisions or anything like that but I mean everything actual Insight information but anyways uh what I'm going to start doing is I'm going to start selling the world's first video pinball topper okay so it's going to be this amazing thing uh you can choose between a the topper size can either be 26 in 32 in or our Le which is going to be 60 in okay it will come with a packaged Blu-ray of whatever pinball you are playing so what it'll is it'll interface then with the board then when you press start the movie will actually start on this uh you know special topper and it will play and of course in I I'm not and I'm not going to cheap out this is going to be one of the finest products you're ever going to buy 5.1 digital surround sound so imagine this you've got your lineup of pens you've got your Wonka you got all your titles stored on on VHS tapes that you can like flip in like cassettes um you I it might be an add on later on we're researching it right now I mean now we want we want to focus with the core business idea so basically then after that so imagine you've got Jurassic Park next to Wonka next to uh uh Independence Day next to and you've got all your friends over and they're all playing all you know every single pin in your house is going to be movie themed think of how magical that'll be when you have 20 different movie pins right next to each other and they're all playing the movie individually at the exact same time it's just I think it's yeah I mean it sounds it it sounds impressive it sounds like you need a dedicated circuit breaker in there too to run like 40 different we're we're looking into it right now um unfortunately I can't you know I can't go into the details of what we're doing because you know this is real real uh you know uh uh inside information but I thought I would share that with you guys because you know I think that's a good solution the 60 inch so far in the pre-orders is is huge and um of course if you want to you can go on our Kickstarter right now I don't have one three to six months kind of thing if she gets a job and you know there's going to be someone around for the kids when they're getting home from have jobs but you just bought a new house how does that work it works man seriously so are do either of you like have like jobs that you're going to or are you just kind of chilling away uh sort of sort of we we've had like a all natural Tea Company loose leaf tea company called angry alpaca you can look it up I do know I do know done artwork for us so we really appreciate that we've still got six cafes back in the Forest City back in London there where we from fck ass so but other than that no we just uh you know we made a little bit of money on our house and uh we basically get to live out here mortgage free on the coast and if it wasn't for all the bugs and the fact that I can no longer live stream I love live streaming almost as much as I love pinball and my internet speed is so slow that I can almost not even make out you guys speaking sometimes and sometimes when I'm watching The Stream I have to like literally just go like uh do a Hotpot off my phone because the internet speed is so slow through my satellite so no way anyways I love it on the East Coast here it's beautiful and the pinball machine room is great but uh you know the internet speed is not fantastic oh man so this is the thing that because I know how enthusiastic you were as far as like setting up your streams and and at one point I remember I think I remember you saying that like the podcast might take uh like a secondhand to the streaming because you just felt like the streaming was like a way that like an outlet for you that just was more conducive to what you wanted to do so now what you're saying is like where your at the upload time doesn't facilitate streaming so you're kind of handcuffed right I am completely handcuffed and uh that sucks I I I absolutely love doing the podcasting but uh I think I like the live streaming even more and nurse podcast and the thing that I like about this guy is like we've been podcasting for all this time and this guy's got like 200 episodes up already and he's got like this cool chill background music and he uploads like once or sometimes twice a day and it's just like you're tidbit of pinball and and I always appreciated it man so how you've evolved man like you are uh you're the real deal not that you weren't before but it's it's just it's pretty awesome I can't it was a great call and it's funny because Glen 570 is like I can't leave till it's done to invested that's true so because you never know what's going to happen maybe we give away a deep root t-shirt or maybe we give away this Black Knight sword Ray jelly we leave that up to Zach how's the garage coming K so the garage is is coming along unbelievably and I hope to have a reveal in October I was going to open it up in October 1st the reveal but I'm building a bar in there now like and I and and so it's going to take a an update there I did not uh realize that thank you yeah anyhow it's getting interesting any surprises with the garage remodeling things that you would uh do differently and that you learn along the way working on a remodel myself no not yet the thing with the garage thing is is I always thought like if you're going to put Pall machines in there it's all about climate control so you need to make sure that's going to be regulated that was my big thing like I never wanted to have like negative - 20 in Chicago where my mini split shuts down and then all of a sudden like anything that's in there is warping like that was my major concern so so we had so much so I have I have the garage going yeah yeah so you got a nice separ and I have the heater going yeah but there's like chunks of ice like almost hanging on the garage door because of the humidity hum humidity the humidity um just gets a little uh the humidity the humidity I don't know it's it's it's tough with Chicago Winters it's tough well that's the thing the summers are easy you know just a little AC but the winters are I don't know scary from a pinball standpoint because this is the thing from yeah pinb a machine can can probably withstand some semi temperature swings right but when you get to extreme temperature swings if if you're going humidity yeah and temperature big and it may not even be so much like the wood in the Playfield but if you have something that has a back glass that's been screen printed and you've got expansion and contraction of that paint oh it's everything everything on a pinball so I I would recommend this like if you have an like a garage or an outdoor game room and you've got older pins or pins that have screen printed back glasses when you are expecting extreme temperature swings take that back glass out to bring it in your home because no bring the whole freaking pin in no I at least the back glass because that paint is going to end up flaking off that's one of the first alviva and then maybe another pin out before the end of the year maybe three pins out before the end of the year if you remember last year this time stern was pumping out pins we saw like back to back to back pins like three pins in two and a half months so we'll we will see what happens Stern likes to close out strong and uh it seems to me again without knowing any inside information here that the thing with jurass even right now what do numbers mean well it depends on who you ask but all right this the thing the coders are going to say hey don't put a lot of uh don't put a lot of effort or thought behind the code number because it doesn't mean anything I think that's that's that's not no that's crap if that's the case then don't put numbers on the code now sure that being said 087 code to me doesn't necessarily mean that it's 87% complete no but code code numbers lead up to 1.0 which in in the thought process of the company means at 1.0 the code could be considered complete and there's no other upates it that need to be happening sure okay right so there absolutely is something to be said on the on the code number now is 087 and 0.92 like like a five% increase on the code not necessarily maybe it's bug fixes but a could be nothing a87 to 1.0 I I think probably constitutes you know a a 133% increase in code because the the key is you need to get to 0.1 or 1.0 code because at that point then you know the company doesn't really feel like they need to support the from an expansion standpoint anymore you know what I mean now bugs or anything that comes up there's going to be minor code updates but then look at these Jersey Jack pins you're at like 2.75 on some of these pins like Wizard of Oz um uh the Hobbit that's fun to think about I just don't like I don't like thinking that you can't put any any thought into the number of the release code because I I think you absolutely should be able to do that it does it it's not necessarily correlating to percent
