Good evening parents. We'll begin tonight's meeting by opening the floor to your suggestions. And this time let's try to keep it non-violent. Shall we? Alright, any suggestions? I think it's high time your teacher started giving our kids a little discipline. That's a very good point. Hey. Hey. Oh no. Beavis and Butthead, this is a meeting for parents. Get the hell out of here before I kill you! Wait a minute, wait a minute. As a parent, I think it's inspiring to see two students so concerned with their education that they would actually attend a PTA meeting. I think we should hear what these two young lads had to say. Come on, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, come on, let the boys speak. We want, like, a teacher who's cool. Yeah, yeah, um, hey, yeah, I just wanna say one thing too, um, hey, um, someone who will, like, um, give us some beer and some chicks. These boys may be on to something. Maybe they need a teacher who speaks their language, someone who can be their friend. Yeah, yeah. How's it going? Coming to you from beautiful upstate New York, this is the Slam Tilt Podcast, a show about all things pinball. I'm your host Ron Hallett, here with my co-host, Bruce Nightingale. 125, holy fuck. 125. Okay, F bomb immediately and then a number. What is the number? Our episodes. 125. Oh, it is 125? Well, last one was 124, so usually that, you know, one number follows the next number. You got that right. In sequential order. 125 episodes. So, has anyone done the count for us? Like a one, a two, a three, a four? The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. www.willywonka.com Your pin, coming out? There is. Well, there is? Yeah. I don't know. At least there's one, in New Zealand. New Zealand, not Australia? New Zealand. Yes. But it's still in the continent of Australia. The continent of Austra- okay. It is. MMM. So, Bruce, like, texted me during the week, like, to do an episode Sunday and I'm thinking, like, what, what are we gonna talk about? I mean, like, it's not like anything's happened. Yeah, it's not like anything's happened, like, There hasn't been any major news, there hasn't been any new games, nothing's going on. Except for 40 people going together and hanging out with each other in Chicago, Chicago. We could have talked about that in a couple of weeks. Oh, whatever. Yes, it's still going on. It's still going on. Yes. We're at hour 28. I think it's the latter. It's still going on in the circuit final. We are, yeah. It went 13 hours, I believe. It did. In typical pinball fashion, it was supposed to start at 11, but of course, we're going to start at 11. In typical pinball fashion, it was supposed to start at 11, but of course it started at like 11.30 because, you know, you have to have delays. That's the rules. Then, yeah, it just was all day. And you had a funny story about Eric Russell. Yes. Who was at the tournament. He was there. He was there. He played. And unfortunately, he didn't make it out of the first round. He got four points, which is very impressive. John Popadiuk, Bob Betor, Keith Elwin, Laser Los, Bowen Kerins, Tanyo Klyce, Knapp Arcade, Yeah, so it's kind of like that remember Live Aid we're like Phil Collins played at Wembley and then flew to Philadelphia and then played there so he was like at both parts of Live Aid. I thought was it Phil Collins or was it Elton John? It was Phil Collins. Phil Collins I have me an Emmy! An Oscar! Yeah he played yeah he played Wembley and then flew over and then he played in Philly and then I think he was the drummer for your favorite band Led Zeppelin. I'm going to bash the shit out of them about it afterwards. Oh, they did? I don't know. Oh, yes. Look that up. Oh, okay. I'll look that up some other time. As soon as the Phil Collins pinball machine comes out, we'll look that up. Phil Collins! I am Mian Oscar! Okay, that sounds more like Sean Connery than it does... No, this is Sean Connery. Oh, no, God. I do a lot of things and I know how to swing and hit people. I've been doing this for 20 years. I'm not the only one. We've got over 50. I've got over 50 people. Yes, we've gone over that. We've gone over that. But yes, the circuit finals. And for, explain to our listeners what the hell that even means. What are the circuit finals? Okay, so over the course of one year last year, there was I think 22 events over the whole year from the United States, Australia, Europe, all over the world. All over the wor-er-er-orld. And, uh, people get points at these tournaments. And what happens is the top 40 players of these point collections meet in Chicago to try to be the champion of the pro circuit event, Stern pro circuit event. And they win a pinball machine, $2,500 in cash, and a honkin' WWF-style belt. www.wwf.com Podcasting and Twitch Karl Karl DeAngelo, The Salterius, Alberto Santana, Eric Russell, Josh and Zach Sharp, Greg Pavarelli, It's like Pinburgh. They play four games, and the games were all like Sterns. It's a Sternament. So they have all, what do they have? Monsters, Deadpool, Star Wars, help me out here, Iron Maiden, Batman 66. I think that was it. And then they had, you know, Papa will bring some old Sterns. So they brought Cheetah, Ali, and Stars. And I only saw Ali ever played on screen. Uh, yeah. Cheetah had Scott's ROM in it. And, yeah, it's, if you were into the classics, you didn't get to see them that much. Yeah, it's pretty bad. They should actually make these guys like, one game must be! No, they're not going to pick it if they have choice. No one's going to pick those games. Well, one person did. Well, yeah. They would play four games. So they start out with the 40, and they play in four-player groups. The lowest two players after the four games get eliminated, so it's split to 20. That took, how long did that take? Six hours or whatever, something ridiculous. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi, Steve Tim Kitzrow, and Joe Kaminkow. So they played, it ended up being, was it Alex Harmon and Andy Rosa in the finals. Yep. Andy Rosa with his flashlight on his head. Mm-hmm . So what did they play? They played, they played Beatles. Yes, they did. I remember that. Oh my God, that thing was hard. And then they played, what else did they play? Was it Maiden? I think it was Maiden. It was Maiden. And then the finals, so they tied 1-1 and it's like Star Wars, we're going to Star Wars. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Yeah, the LED headband there. Yep. It's because he couldn't see in the dark room with the dark playfields. Mm-hmm. Except for Beatles. That thing glows. Yeah, that thing. That thing glows. It glows. So you liking your Beatles? Yeah, I play it. All right. It's hard. Really hard. So, congratulations, Andy. Great job. And you know what's going to be today? What's today? The Heads Up Challenge. Oh, that's right, yes. Yes, yeah, we mentioned ESPN and all this shit, they weren't there. I'm assuming they're gonna be there today, otherwise, um, I don't know what they're gonna televise for the Ocho, like we talked about the last episode. Yeah. ESPN was not there, so, and I honestly thought they were going to film the Heads Up Challenge, cause that would be more... Yeah. That would be a better thing to film, yeah, than, than the circuit. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. These Finem grades Could You got it. All right. So you need to be able to control the Carl Weathers if you want to own a bar. Yes. All right. I got you. There you go. See, catching on finally. Back to pinball. We did something last weekend. We did. What did we do? We did the top 16 of state New York players played against each other at level zero. I don't know if I'm saying that wrong, but yes, level zero. And we had a great time. Jerry finally was victorious and took home the championship. Finally? Like he hasn't won enough? I know, but he's, he didn't win, he's been second twice? No, no, he was second once. And he's been in the top four, like, I think three out of the four years. You didn't mention the hypocrite. Huh? Me. Oh, yes. Although I was basically forced. Forced into playing. Heegoně,łemę Pedกipți Lucas PCB'n presto 맛있ąwię tradition Me So, like, you have to play. Yep. So, guess who I played in the first round? Uh, who did you play? You're kidding, right? I don't remember, honestly. Bar, bar, bar. What does that have to do with anything? You weren't at the bar, you were at my house. Okay, I played Alberto Santana in the first round. Oh, boy. Oh, my. And we had another down to the wire. It's like three out of five, so it went to the fifth game on Dirty Harry. I made a big slap save and it tilted out because my tilt is too sensitive on that game. So I was screwed by my own sensitive tilt. Oh, you're too sensitive. Mm-hmm. And it was all captured on stream. Yay! Yay! Where's the energy? Come on! It's like we just woke up. I am. Well, I just woke up, so. Yeah, I did too. I was upstairs doing, I was actually mopping the floor before Ron. Mopping the floor? We're wrapping the floor, so you're like the toxic Avenger? Yes, I am. So, we, yeah, I streamed. The streaming rig finally got a workout. It was incredible. It was awesome. What we were doing is, like, I would put up little, while we were moving the rig, I'd put something else up on the stream, like the scores or something, but it got to the point where it was so fast, it would take, like, less than ten seconds to move the rig, like, there was no point, so we just started filming the rig moving. Yep, but oh my god, I need to get one of these. You need to get one of those? Yes, Karl. Thank you, Karl. Karl Karl DeAngelo's actually, he hopped on the stream. Yes, he did. He even sent me some bits. Yes. Thank you, Karl. But honestly, the stream, the stream was so much smoother with that setup, Ron. Yep. Yes, it was. Now, Ron, how much would one of those setups actually cost? The Post Oh God, I'm still paying. I'm still paying. It's, it's, yeah. It, most of it is, honestly, most of it is the PC. Mm-hmm. But, um, the actual, I'd have to look up the price tag, but it's... That's your job this week. What's my job this week? Tell us how much approximately, you don't have to go perfectly, but approximately how much that was. Do I even want to do that? Yeah, I don't think you want to do it, but I'm asking. No, I don't want to do that. John Popadiuk, Bob Betor, Keith Elwin, Laser Los, Bowen Kerins, Larry K. Sheats Jr., Pantino. Not Patino. You're bad with, and you spelled Eric Russell's name wrong. And I spelled Mike Pantino's wrong. Yes you did. Continue. But I beat him in the first round, luckily. And I got to play Eric Russell in the second round. Who did you play in the second round? The guy who was late. Oh, you played Matt Sells. Matt, sorry. Sorry Matt. Yes, I played him. I lost to Eric after being up on him 2-1. John Popadiuk, Bob Betor, Keith Elwin, Laser Los, Bowen Kerins, Lyman F. Sheats Jr.., orbit ramps, Automated Amusements, Python Anghelo, Joe Kaminkow, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Plus we had a bug that occurred twice to two different players, and I'm still trying to replicate it. It happened to Steve Daniels, and it happened to Zach, where on Whodunit, they basically did a Congo Super Skill plunge, you know, plunge straight to the out lane, and even though the ball saver light was on, the ball ended. I cannot replicate it. I've tried everything. Even multiplayer games? I tried a two-player game. I tried it like on a third ball like I think it happened. I tried. I cannot get it to do it. So if anyone's listening who knows, who's seen this before, because there's definitely some kind of software bug because all the switches work fine. It's just the ball ended and it happened twice. It's never happened before in any of the other tournaments that I've had, but it's just weird. That is very weird. That's very weird. But I'll keep working on it. I'm going to figure it out. Soarin', soarin'. I can't give Soarin' any information. How's he going to fix it? Unless he's heard about it. Well, if he's going to do that, he should fix the other bug. Yeah, I thought he... No, that hasn't been fixed. The only... the workaround for that is you go to 1.0. It doesn't have the bug, but it also doesn't have some other fixes and things. So, like, that's why I don't bother. So that was the Upstates. So, uh, we got a couple things coming up in the future, don't we? We do. You forgot one thing about the Upstates. We unboxed something. Something wonderful. Dead Silence. You know the box that you brought with you? Oh, yes. Jesus. Well, I was like, I wasn't thinking along that line because we only saw it for two seconds. I whipped it out of the box for two seconds. No, I took it out of the box. That was the funniest thing. I think the last two games of the tournament, the stream actually went down or we had camera issues because I was upstairs unboxing this thing. So I failed. Did you get me a rod yet? Did I get you a rod? Or lift bar? Lift channel? The lift channel? I have the Marco thing sitting here so I have the part number. Excellent. The lift channel for what? Lenny, you talk about it because we both got the same thing. Yep, dragon fist backglass. Plural Looks nice Back glasses I took the one on top Oh my Oh my And yeah put the lift channel on it and then realized I really can put it in the game yet. Yeah, because you got to... Because, and here's another little tip, on those games, I don't know, do Bally's do this too? A little bit. They did a little bit. But on Stern's, the score displays will typically, from the factory, have like, what is it, like rubber, like foam. John Popadiuk, Bob Betor, Knapp Arcade, We're going to make sure that they are in place before that backglass goes in. But it looks beautiful. It looks the same as like the Quicksilver backglass where it's got that film around it. Yep. The film around it and also what's it called? It's not white in the back behind the backglass. You know, it's actually just the actual coloring. Coloring. The actual coloring. It's not white. Okay. I gotcha. Yeah. It's not silkscreen where, you know, it's white in the back and then they put the colors on top. It's just all color. Very nice. We waited. We got them from BG Restro and it was about 10 weeks, actually. Mm-hmm. Perfect. Perfect. So, you have something coming up next week. I do? You do. What do I have? You do. What do I have coming up next week? Is it next week or the week after? Two weeks. Is it two weeks or one week? Yeah, you keep getting confused with the different dates. What is Texas? Yeah, Texas is two, let's see, one, one and a half, yeah, almost two weeks away. Yeah, two weeks, okay, so. Yeah, you keep thinking it's like next weekend. Yeah, I keep on thinking because it's usually around St. Patrick's Day. Yep, Texas Pinball Festival. Yay! Or nothing will be revealed, boo-hoo. Well, maybe. Well, maybe. I mean, well Steve Ritchie made a thing that he's gonna be there and in his seminar all will be revealed. Who knows what that means. Everything will be revealed my new game Black Knight 3000. I hope it's not that. I hope it's totally original and not just another, like, High Speed 3 or Black Knight 3,000. We shall see. And it's looking like that that is going to be the next release. Why do you say that? It just fits. Okay. I think it's gonna be the next release. So did we find out how what's new titles coming out? Well, I'm sitting here at This Week in Pinball. Hi, Jeff. Hi, Jeff. You see we've really prepared for this, but the let's see the following titles are being discussed. We have Jurassic World. I could totally see Stern doing that. I mean they already did. Mark Kelly Indian and Randy John Blank İşte I thought it was a movie. Okay. So Stranger Things. Chicago Gaming is going to do an original theme, supposedly. After Cactus Canyon. I know. What is it going to be? Like Vacation America? Oh God, don't say that. That was a terrible game. Okay, and then we got Harry Potter, which is always rumored. Yeah. It would be nice to see that because I think it would really... The weird thing is, I don't get this. I think it's actually a slot machine. Is there a Harry Potter slot machine? All right, I think that's it for Kasato Cast. Oh my gosh. So if it's disagreement here, then... So if that's agreement there, then yeah. So you're in trouble. Sounds like that right here. Balkselạnகarnos 밝혔 fantasy houseiendo半 πέं пит напolesome massmart What? The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Which is good or bad. I mean, like, there's so many inserts and so much stuff on there, I, it's very, very crowded. Let's put it that way. Mm-hmm. But, you know, they changed the back glass. I don't know if I see the monkey on here. I can't wait to play it. Hopefully it'll be a Texas, I would assume. It'll be a Texas. And hopefully I'll be able to make the side ramp now. Yay! Hopefully too. Yay! And the cool habit trail's still there. and stuff I know I do. Yes. It's like a little busy time for yourself while you're lining up shots. Yep. I mean, Lethal Weapon did it the best, of course. Yes, of course it did. Of course it did. I've come to the realization, I think the whole reason that the corkscrew thing is on Lethal Weapon 3 is so you can get the quad jackpot. Ah, so you have enough time. So it can register, like, if it sees two balls, if it sees a ball go up the ramp and then The second one go up before the second switch is hit, like in the in lane or whatever, when the ball comes back, it knows that you got two up there. So it's got to give you time. So the corkscrew is in there for that. Gotcha. If anyone from Data East is listening, confirm that. But I'm guessing that's why that's on there. And the reason I bring up Lethal Weapon 3 is because I saw in my email this morning... Uh-oh. The pinball classifies, it looks like dude is selling the Michael Jordan pin. Oh, really? Yeah, and if my email ever came up, I could look at it. Excellent. Yeah, slow as hell. Is it on eBay? No, no, I just said, pinball classifies. The Mr. Pinball classifies. Michael Jordan, Lethal Weapon 3, 9K. 9K! Which, I'm surprised it's not five figures. Lethal Jordan, a one of a kind, Michael Jordan, Lethal Weapon, 3-pin with backglass art, created for Data East and the Michael Jordan Foundation. By myself, artist A.K. Bateman. So basically the artist who did the art for the game is selling their game. So he's in Valley Village, California, $9,000. So if you want the awesomeness of Lethal Weapon combined with the greatest player in the history of the NBA... The And rare. Yes, and super rare. Also an original attack from Mars for $4,800. It's amazing to see how much those prices are down now. Wow. Because of the remix. That sounds like a scam. It sounds like a scam? Yep. Really? $4,800 sounds like a scam. It does. It's in Los Angeles, California. But that was in my classifieds feed this morning. We have the Lethal Weapon 3 is involved, you know, I'm going to be looking at it. Looking at my spam, how I've been hacked and stuff. I love these spam messages. You've been spammed! Please! Contact us! And I'm looking at the mail ball bag and it is empty. Oh my. Oh my. But we did start something yesterday. Registration is now open for Stomp 2 West. Whoa! Stomp 2 West! When's that going to take place, Bruce? Bruce? April 6th. April 6th? Doors open at 12. And where is that going to take place? At the Silver Ball Saloon! Where's that? 135 West Commercial Street, East Rochester, New York. Why don't you give us the details, because it's a little different. A little different than usual. How are we doing this? It's going to be a four-hour match play, but instead of paying coin drop, you're actually We're going to play pay a little bit more. $30 if you pre-register. $40 at the door or when pre-registration ends, which is I think three days before the tournament. You're going to pay $30. You're going to get one free drink, soda or beer or regular shot or mixed drink from Well. You're going to get 10% off your food and there's no coin drop. So it's going to be, we're going to go around each round and coin up the games that you're going to be using and go from there. Run the under sage. Right nearly, in the mid of the 20- controlled period, events of the series began. Rock Talk with Andrei Lundet's 518 Pinball Club. Oh, you did? I did. That's our club. Yes, it is. That is the Albany Club. Yes. And I hear there's some things going on Thursdays, but we'll talk about that in a few minutes after we plug our stomp. So plug our stomp. We will be streaming. Yes, we will. I'm going to try to con Ron to bring his real rig. No, I'm not bringing that thing. No. Damn it. I'm bringing the other one. And I'm bringing a 100-foot Ethernet cable. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. The table in the back actually has room on each side now. Wow, so this will be the rare occasion before you put more games in. There'll be room back there. No, I'm not going to... I'm actually thinking 26 is going to be max right now. Okay, okay. The problem is going to be in the summer, I move some downstairs to the other room because of electricity issues. The building only has 250 amp service, so the games take up 100 amps. Plus the AC units in the building are three, there's three AC units in it, which is another 30 amps per. So I'm already at 190 with the games and that. You need more energy efficient AC units. Yes, or wait, that gets better. Then I have three compressors. And then that's not including lights, POS system, Piece of shit system? Point of sale. Oh, sorry, I'm sorry. So yeah, so what I do is I move some of the games downstairs into the other building, the other side, Achtung Water, brillant edition FUNNY Achtung Pot Research powered by Full Taiwan What's it called? A benefit a couple weeks ago. Oh, that's right. I did. I did. I forgot about that. It's so rare that I do those. I know, but you did. What was he benefiting? Himself? No, no, no. It was a kid's hospital. Ah, wow. The Kiss, three to four Kiss members were there. So they wanted clowns, and they got the clowns. Yes, they did. They got clowns. Okay. See? So he came there with his makeup and all that? No, no, no. They actually came. But three or four came out, and they supported it. I think they collected like $27,000, which is a good total. See? You need to take back all the things you said about me, Bruce. Nope. Come on. You need to see our final tour. I promise, it's the last one. God, no. It'll be the last one by you guys. Well, yes, because we're just... the characters live on forever. Of course they will. Yes. There you go. There's the Gene Simmons quota. We gotta have Gene. Yes. Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud. Hey, Bruce. Yes. Guess what? What? We got a third machine in our league. Did you see that? Your op actually got it dialed in? We got, oh, wow. You just completely ruined the reveal there. I was going to go like, guess what we got? You'll never guess. And then you just said it. I guess. Right off the bat, I'm good. You suck. Oh, man. Yes, we got it dialed in. And I actually went to play it that day because I was just curious. And? It plays. It's got a bizarre like, flasher thing on the top that looks like a mod. So when it takes your picture, it like flashes this thing. I haven't seen it on any of the models, so I'm guessing it's some kind of mod. It doesn't look like it came with it because you can see all the wires coming out of the back. It doesn't look like something they would have... I've never seen it. It's a standard. It's a standard, of course. It's not an elite. Scott, they have it on five ball. Oh, wow. Yeah, with extra balls. Oh, wow. So it's an hour and a half game. And it's a buck. I think that's why they have it five ball. So we'll see how that works with league. It wasn't playing overly long, even with the five balls, but we'll see. Does it have flippies on it? Fuck no. All right. So it's actually playable. So it's actually, yeah, you can actually get it in the sim hole. Nice. Isn't it great? Yes. I love it. So what are you going to be doing Thursday nights from now on, Ron? No, it's like one Thursday night next month. Oh, there's only ones you're doing it? Yeah, it's like a monthly... Okay, what Bruce is referring to that he doesn't have information straight on is we're going to be doing a monthly knockout. And it's going to be at level zero. And we'll see how many locals, how many 518ers show up to see if we keep doing them or not. Because I got sick of offering my game room for league and being turned down. The person who runs our league is very loyal to the Excelsior Pub as far as they want to have the stuff there. So that's fine. We don't want to step on any toes, so we're going to do a knockout tournament. Or just a knockout from like, I think it's 7 to 10 at night on a Thursday. So we'll see how it goes. 7 to 10. If I leave the bar at 4... Oh no, no, no. Mike Dengel, I'm sorry. I should come out and support the 518ers. Yeah, support the 518ers. It's going to be April... do you remember what day it was? Oh, I don't remember. I don't remember. That's pretty bad. It's April something. Something, something, something. Yeah, something, something, something. That's pretty bad. All right, I just looked it up. Love editing. The knockout tournament is April 18th. April 18th. Doors open at 630 p.m. I'm about to plan my trip. Okay, Bruce. We'll see how many people show up after all is said and done. Nice. But trying to move things along in the 518 area code, which is funny because I think we actually added a second area code in the area because they ran out of 518 numbers. Well, Frank Romero is asking how does one register? He must have got his answer. He got his answer. Mm-hmm. And he is in. Thank you, Steph, for answering him. You got to have a party. Yeah, okay, you gotta have a party. Man, with no news, no ball bag, what do we talk about? How we love each other. You had some sports news item you said you were gonna give me? Oh yes, because you and me are both big, diehard Yankee fans, are we not? Okay, so it's about the, they bought their own, they bought their channel back, so the S-Network is now owned by the, no. It is owned by, but no, that's not the big news, come on. That's not the big, okay, what's the big news? Alex Rodriguez got engaged. Hello? What's the big news? Oh, Alex Rodriguez got engaged. To who? To J-Lo. I hate Alex Rodriguez. You know, he's one of the few, you know, there's a few athletes I hate. I fucking hate that guy. I hate Alex Rodriguez. He's the one like, oh, me and Jeter are buds and all that, and he talks shit about him in a magazine article. Yeah, have fun. Yeah, when he went to the Yankees, they put your ass at third base, because you weren't going to play short, because we had Jeter. This is the idiot who's trying to pick up women during a playoff game. Hey, how you doing? Yeah, exactly. What a fucking idiot. God, I hate him. I hate Payrod. A-roid. He's so not Jeter. I just call him not Jeter. He wants to be Jeter, but he can't be. That's all. That is all. That's all. There's some unnatural hate there, but whatever. I see that. I just can't stand him. All right. What else did we talk about? Wow. You got me in such a great mood after that. I know. Stop coming up. Hurry. Oh, the yawn. Yes. There's a yawn. Allentown, less than two months away. Okay. We're going way into the future, but all right. The future, because we're going to be buying games and selling games and doing everything we can. We're living here in Allentown. You got another cyberball. No, I got another football game. You got another football game. It's like Gridiron Fight, we've talked about in the past. The one with the trackball. Yep, color graphics, but four player. So is it four player Gridiron Fight or is it just another game? Four player Gridiron Fight style, but it's another company called, it's Namco, classic NFL football. Is this at the Silver Ball Saloon? Not yet. No, it's at my garage. I'm working on it to get it. The fuse holder was completely gone. Somebody took the top part of the fuse holder and I couldn match up the pieces so it all apart now I gonna solder in a new fuse holder and then see if it actually powers up because I only got it for 150 bucks And this thing is a giant monster It 400 pounds It is 34 inches wide Oh my. And four roller controllers that light up and everything. Where are you gonna fit this thing? I am going to move the foosball table bye-bye and put it downstairs behind me, behind the bowler. So, no, not much action with Mr. Foosball? Eh, eh, eh. Eh? Eh. Eh? Eh-eh-eh. No? Okay. Yeah, eh. Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud. Did you see there was another list? I'm going to Franchise's Facebook page right now. Fazinga. I am insulted. We weren't mentioned in this list. Oh, so either we're doing... We didn't violate anything on the list, so I just feel like we failed. It's that time again. Time to lay down a few suggestions on how to do a better, less redundant, less boring pinball podcast. I think we failed already. This one's been boring. No, no. Wazak, Wazak, the funny thing is this. We haven't really been podcasting for two months, so it can't be about us. That's why you didn't mention us. We just had an episode, and now we're having another one. Okay. Here we go. Here are the rules. Yeah, the rules. The suggestions. He or she hit it out of the park. Basically, too many people say that. So, of course, then people answered him on the thread saying, wow, you hit it out of the park on these suggestions, man. Walk me through. Another overused term. Never said, I don't think I've ever said that. Actually, he should add actually there. Actually, yes. Three, jokingly asking a guest you are interviewing to reveal details about upcoming pinball titles. That's a dick move. We've never done that. We joked about it and we told the guy we were going to joke about it beforehand, of course. But we never mean like, hey, so what are you going to do with this? What are you doing? Tell us this. Well, no, it says jokingly asking a guest. So then you're saying we failed. When did we do that? I don't even remember doing that. I think we did it with Lyman. So what are you working on after Batman? Okay, so we did fail. Okay, I feel better now. I'm not a podcast. We're not a podcast unless you fail one of those. No, you actually, I think, were Frenchy. Well, his podcast is, oh, oh, that's right. Oh, that's right. Oh. Saying you're not going to beg listeners to buy your podcast t-shirt, then going on a ten minute diatribe about your podcast t-shirt and how you can get it and how cool it is and how it supports the show, blah, blah, blah. Okay, I don't even know who that is. I know that. It's the one he talks about above and the one he talks about at number five. Wow, so he's really picking on a particular podcast here. Yes, he is. Never talk shit about someone on your podcast. We never do that. What do you mean, Ron? Oh, gee. Oh, the keeler. Oh, yeah. I don't know how he can hear. What? He literally goes to like metal concerts every other day. I don't know how he has hearing. What? Yeah. Where am I? Is this thing on? So those are the five rules. You didn't really talk about the fifth rule. I don't want to get into it. I like bullshit. Bullshit. Everybody talks shit about you on your podcast, piss that person off, and when the person pisses you, pisses off others to come on your podcast and discuss the issue with them, you create a totally blown them off and then continue to take little jabs out of them. That's called pussy podcasting. That's fucking funny. Yes, Bruce. Bruce being Bruce. We let Bruce be Bruce here on this Slantto podcast. We wouldn't have it any other way. Oh, pussy podcast. Wow, he's really into that, folks. Oh my God, fucking Chris, I love you. We need to get him back on so he can actually talk about that. No, no, no, no, I don't want inner podcast like pissing matches going on. It's not inner podcast. I just want, he's stating that he needs to get his story out. He did. He already did. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Interactive topper. I guess that means it must have lighting effects. Probably does. Because it doesn't look like it moves. How about that RTD2? Is that still going on? Does it suck? I've never seen it in action. No one's seen it! I know! I saw the one video. It's like 20 seconds. It's available now, right? I think so. I thought it was finally available. I mean, how could that not be cool? It's RTD2's head turning. Yeah. Yeah, but this one, the Beatles one, it's got just, it's like their faces. We have nothing to talk about so- oh we got some uh Stern shirts with some uh models like uh showing them off here. We got the toppers, where are the mats? They're in the accessories. I'm in the accessories, I'm looking for mats. Page one. Page one, okay. Write about the beetle one. Right, uh, it's probably sorts differently, because mine is not above the Beetle one, but there it is. Well, pinball player at 70 bucks. That's a lot of money for a mat. I agree. I mean, but it says Stern pinball on it. But it says Stern pinball, so. I wish they took a better picture. This looks like a blurry picture someone took with their cell phone. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. As opposed to some of the other ones that are definitely much more professional looking. Mm-hmm. Well, actually, I was going to say the Stern Shaker Motor Kit, but that is also blurry. Yep. Come on, I need to see clearly. Hopefully, the topper ones are clear. Okay, the topper one looks clearer. So, you're going to become a Stern Insider? How do I become a Stern Insider? Bruce, what's that all about? Well, you could have two different things. The Stern Insider Basic, you just get, you can sign up to receive news about Stern-related products and promotions. Or you can get the all-action, all-out, all-out, all-out, all-out, all-out, all-out, all-out, Bruce, what's that all about? Well, you can have two different things. The Stern Insider Basic you just get. You can sign up to receive news about Stern-related products and promotions. Or you can get the All Access Insider. Thirty dollars. Access to everything Stern. You get an All Access merchandise box including an exclusive t-shirt and more. Early access to the newest games. First dibs on limited edition merch and giveaways. Access to Stern Insider Only Events Around the World. You don't like that shirt? That looks cool. No. No? No. You don't like the Stern pinball one that looks old school? It's not really that old school. Oh, Jesus. You cannot satisfy Bruce at all. No, not at all. Okay, how about just the one that says Stern Pinball T-shirt, the one that Jack Danger's wearing? Yes. So the most plain one is the one you like? Yep. Yeah. But at least the Silver Ball Salute is on the Stern Pinball website page. It is? It is. What does it have, like a... Pinball locator. Oh, I thought it was like Stern Army Locator or something. But we're on there with the website and get directions. So thank you, Stern. So after bashing you guys for the past five minutes about your shop, now I'm going to thank you. And, well, do they do a thing like if you have any non-Stern games, they remove you from their page? Well, I have more Stern games probably. Old school, baby. I'm just looking at all the games. I want to see what is technically being made. So on the line? Yeah, on the line. Because the way, at least the way they used to do it, is anything that's on their game page is stuff they're actively making. Yep, so yeah. So we have Beatles, Monsters, Deadpool, Iron Maiden, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars, Star Trek, which I think is the vault edition or whatever they call it, and Batman. Oh, it is the vault only now. They have the pro also. The pro is there too. You can choose. There's two different ones. And Batman 66. So those are the current games. Batman 66 is going back on the line, I think, this month. I think it's probably on the line right now. Okay. And after watching the feed from... I had a little more appreciation. Of course, the code is what makes that game special. Lyman makes that code. Knock it out of the park. It really does. So you're getting one? I'd love to. Ron's going to donate some money to me and we're going to get one together. Batman 66. So another game we'll be half owner on? Yeah, let's do it. No. No. No. We'll see. Yeah. I'd rather just get a Star Wars. Oh God, no. What? It's Star Wars. People will play it like crazy. People love Star Wars. And it's a pro. It's less money. The pinball show, Pinball Brothers, Bally Williams, Straight Down the Middle, Bally Williams, I think you meant to say like 60 whatever percent it was. 67% agreed with me. 67% agreed. With me and 33% agreed with you. So 33% were correct, 67 were wrong. Oh. Yep. Wow. Yeah. I mean, again, it's a bias. It's a bias in that pinheads are the ones that are looking at that. If you did like non-pinheads, did like non-pinheads but people who knew what pinball was, I guarantee you the results would be way different. That's all I have to say. That's all I got to say. I mean, Jeff Teolis said he thought it was a sport, which blew my mind because he actually played semi-pro ball. Well, well. So you would think like, I mean, come on. Come on, folks. It's not a sport. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. It's not athletic. So you're not physically moving your body. Period. It's not athletic. You're not physically moving your body then? Is walking, is just like getting up athletic? What do you define as athletic? Hey, well, you know, after these rock concerts, I go like, you know, and it's really hard. You said really hard. But, um, athletic. When I think athletic, I think athletes. I think athleticism. Pinball does not require athleticism. I could play it sitting down. I could play it like just like laying down. I could play it in any non-athletic position. I'm literally using my fingers and occasionally moving the game a little bit with my arms. That's not athletic. I'm sorry. I don't think you get emotionally attached to these games then. You need to get more into these games. What does emotionally attached to the games have anything to do with what we're saying? You gotta work it, baby. You gotta work your skills. You gotta show the goods off. It's not a sport. You gotta play. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. There are six tournaments, it's not a sport, if I'm winning, it's not a sport, period. Wow. There you go. So the next poll is gonna be what game should Bruce get for Silverball Saloon? Should it be Batman 66 or Star Wars? Or Other, another one, say if you don't. Okay, or Other, but just remember folks, Star Wars is Pro, it's like way cheaper than Batman 66. Oh, sorry. It shoots way better. Way better. People love shot multipliers. They love the action button. Of course, they both have action buttons. They do. Yeah. But one makes better use of it. Okay. Who has better code? Who has better code? It's Dwight versus... It's Dwight versus Lyman. It's like Romper Room versus the best TV show ever in the world. That's the equivalent. So you're going to compare a children's show to a best TV show. I mean, it doesn't matter. It's the best TV show ever. It's the best TV show ever. It's the best TV show ever. It's the best TV show ever. It's the best TV show ever. It's the best TV show ever. So you're going to compare a children's show to a best TV show? That doesn't even make sense. Okay, you're comparing apples to oranges. Yeah, but, see, it would make sense if you said, you named like a horrible children's show and then named like Sesame Street as like the best or something. Barney vs. Sesame Street. Wow, so you hate Barney or do you hate Sesame Street? Barney. Why do you hate Barney? He's a purple dinosaur. The He gets burned up in a Beavis and Butthead episode. Exactly. Which was later edited. I don't know if they actually called him Barney, but it was obviously him. We're going to, we've, whatever, they were baking. I'm going to get the cookies out of the oven now. And he gets the cookies and his hands are on fire. Oh, this sucks. Love it. Yes, it all comes back to Beavis and Butthead. So that's going to be a poll. So we got a poll. That's good. So, anything else going on? Stomp 2 West. Stomp 2 West, Electric Boogaloo... no, it doesn't work. But, yeah. You're getting crazy with these names. Eventually, no one's gonna know what any of these names mean. They'll be like, which one is this? Stomp 27. It's like Rocky. They went to Rocky 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, whatever. Then there was Rocky Balboa. Now it's Creed. Creed! And then Creed 2, and yeah. Is this the earliest we've ever recorded? Yes. Yeah. Actually, no. No? Well, you're going to include when you were in Europe? No, Australia. When we had to do the first Ryan episode. We went on early. Oh? Eight o'clock in the morning. All right. See? You are correct. Thank you, as always. Yes, you are always correct. Thank you. We're going to now make that sound clip, and I'm cutting that out, and we're going to use that every time. And we're going to use that every time. You sure you know how? I know how. Well, unless you edit it out. Well, that would be a great idea. I could edit that out and then no one would ever know that comment occurred. I won't do that. I don't edit anything. You know that, Bruce. Yes, you do nothing. Yeah. I'll be editing out a lot of dead air on this podcast. What? What? Huh? Huh? I'm out of material, man. Let's see. Have I worked on any games? Hmm. I don't know. I loosened up a tilt on Dirty Harry because of the incident. Why don't you loosen up the one on, uh, uh, what's it called, Next Generation also. Next Gen? I did loosen that up. Still not loose enough for you? Oh my god, I tilted it twice and, what's his name, a couple people tilted it. You gotta tell me these things. Okay, it's now, it's now public knowledge. Alright, it's public knowledge. I have to loosen up tilt on Star Trek Next Gen. I went through the chime unit on Prospector. That was the only thing I hadn't done. That was a lot of fun, Prospector. I love Prospector. Prospector, you came through. Good job. After the tournament that was modified, I had Zach show me how to... he has a modification on his... On Prospector, this spinner, when it's lit at a thousand, when you hit it like the pop bumpers and the point switches change it from side to side, I'm going to go ahead and decide. What invariably happens is you crush the spinner, where does the ball go? Straight to the pop bumper. So like you get a few spins on a thousand and then it just goes off of the spinner to the other spinner. So he modified his so it's just like the point switches that make it go back and forth, not the pop bumpers. Nice. That's on his. So we did the same modification on mine. I think that's it. I haven't worked on anything at all. I did some, I have the most bizarre issue. Here you go. Here's a bizarre one for you, Bruce. Okay I don know if I mentioned this one in the last episode So we got Stargazer right Has an original MPU 200 board in it jumper for two 2732 EPROMs Got it Got it Okay So it running Scott version of Stargazer right So I was going to put Oliver's back in because I want, I want the, the old rules back, but I want the multiplier to, um, reset the bonus multiplier. The Wally Winka Show, Knapp Arcade, Bally Williams, Straight Down the Middle, Bally Williams, I burn. Which at first I thought the ROMs were bad or something was wrong the way I was burning them, but they work in the other boards. They just don't work in that one. It makes no sense. What is the issue? What would make that happen? I couldn't figure it out. But that's what I did last night. I took the ROMs that I still had that didn't work and I tried them in nine ball, booted right up. Doesn't it check just one set of bits? I think if Zach was telling me correctly. Yeah, well, the other thing I noticed, I think it was U6 specifically it didn't like. So if I did mix and match, like if I use like Scott's ROM at U2 but the new ROM was burned at U6, then it wouldn't pass it. But if I did the other way, it would or vice versa, something like that. So it's one of them it doesn't like, but it's only on that board. The other MPU200 board, it's fine. Isn't that crazy? New sockets, maybe? That doesn't make sense though. Why does it work with the other ramps? I can't figure this out. It doesn't make any sense to me. So what I eventually did is I had the Weebly board. I had a re-jumper for a 2732 because it was a jumper for a 2764 because I had that 9-ball thing in there. And I found an interesting thing with that board. Here's weirdness. With the Weebly board, I put the two 2732s in there. It's jumper for 2732. I hook up just the one connector. The only one you actually need. Turn it on. And it does the seven flashes and boots, but it takes like two minutes. Wow. It's like, what the fuck? So, but then, for the hell of it, I plug all the connectors in, turn it on, it boots up normally. Hmm. Isn't that interesting? Did you email him and ask him? No. Maybe let's try mine. Yeah, try the Ampere 200. Like, take all the connectors off, all of them. Even the sound, all the connectors off except for the one that needs to boot. Turn it on and see how quickly it boots. Because at first I thought it wasn't working, but it's like, well, wait a minute, there were seven flashes, it was just like incredibly slow. I double checked the jumper I did, it looked right, you know, I buzzed it out and everything, I did it right. But when I connected every, and I put all the other connectors on and turned it on, boom, booted right up normally, doo, doo, doo, it came right up. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Wow. Which makes no sense. No, not at all. If anyone has any ideas, this has been the tech, the tech section. It's so weird. I don't, I don't, I don't get it. I don't understand what's going on. It doesn't make any sense. Stop the insanity! But I, I put the, the older ROMs back in Stargazer and just played it to try to max out the bonus, which I did. That was fun. That's so hard to do with the other, because you're never going to complete the freaking Zodiac. That's all I got for tech. You got anything? A lot of broken wires on the coils, a lot of switch issues. I had a reflow to solder on Monopoly, the optos for the lovely kick out for the trough. Ugh, I hate those friggin' optos. I'm glad Stern got away from that. They use optos in the trough? They use optos for the jam sensor. I thought they still did that. No, now they've gotten to, now they're doing a Williams style. What's Williams style mean? Optos for each ball. But you said the opto was the problem. Wouldn't you want less optos? No. Their design is crappy. Oh. And then they went to a Williams style to solve the problem. When do they do that? Uh, KISS. So it literally looks like a Williams trough now? Yes. Only took them how long to do that? Probably 20 years. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of tech this episode. Well, yeah, for me, I just said a lot of tech. So, hopefully, I'm going to go to the Zacks this week and we'll work on Meteor. Yeah, you guys got all the light boards for it. Mm-hmm. I got to bring over a lot of 555 bulbs. I'm going to do it one day and then we'll see what happens, how that looks out and go from there and then hopefully get that in the bar. So I have all five Steve Kirk games for one day at least or two days. All fought. Oh, Lyman. Lyman! Lyman. So you have the one he was worked on until he got fired. Yes. And then the four he actually did. Mm-hmm. Okay. Steve Kirk. The goodness. Anything else? Other than silence that I'll have to edit out? No. Well, you miss me. Oh, always. Always. I miss you. It's not like we didn't just see each other a week ago. I know. It was actually really nice. The only person we didn't see was Matt Wall, who was supposed to come up. And they got two pinball machines. Yes. How many people can say that? Mmm, duh, there you go. How many people can say that? How many people are on more than one? Well, we know the actors and that kind of stuff. Mm-hmm. I mean, there's been multiple Star Wars games. Yep. You had, let's see... Arnold. Arnold's been on a ton of them. See, Keanu Reeves almost. It depends how you look at it. Yeah. Because he's in Dracula, but only the proto-plastics. Yep, and he's in... And he's in Johnny Mnemonic. Yep. And Matrix soon. Ma- Matrix? That's what Head to Head talked about. What, there's gonna be a Matrix pin? Matrix pin. Made by who? Uh, Jersey Jack. Really? Yeah. That doesn't really seem like something they would do. That was like an R-rated movie. They've done pretty much family friendly themes. Oh, not for me. No? No. When I was younger and that Wizard of Oz movie came out, I was scared of those fucking monkeys. So, Wizard of Oz scarred Bruce forever. Yes. Now, I'm looking on eBay right now. Oh, you're looking for more material for a segment? Yeah, I want you to just look at one ticket number. Okay, so would I or would I not buy that? Well, it's just, it's different. It's different, folks. But it fits everything we're talking about. Okay, would we or would we not buy that? It's different. Yes. Okay, so what do we got? Ticket number 153-313-016-381. Okay, Bruce. Very good. It's a KISS LE Pinball Stern Arcade Machine.э think it should be Oh, it's a German KISS. Yes. So it's a German LE KISS. Yes. So now you're really talking about a rare machine. Kind of probably is. And even the plate is with the German. And the display is in SS, the regular style, instead of the... Yeah, for those who don't know what we're talking about, the KISS logo, their SS is the same font that the SS used. The World War II, Germans, Nazis, etc. So whenever they release one of these in Germany, they have to change the S's. And they did this with the original KISS back in 79. They did the same thing. Yes. And it's illegal in Germany to have that stuff. So you think about it now, there was how many, I think, was there 400 LEs or 500 LEs? There was not enough in my opinion, but yes. I know, Gene, I know. So, now you think of how much percentage went to Germany and they had to change everything. Yeah, they probably had to change the playfield too. Playfield too, yeah. So that's what I'm saying. Which, you know, it'd be great if I could see the playfield, but you know, the only picture they have here is the backglass. Mmm. Did you notice that? Yeah, I did. And the rest are just flyers and a picture of the box in a warehouse. Yes, excellent. That's wonderful. So does that mean it's the show model that we put back in the box? Yep. I guess. I'm assuming so too. About 100% positive feedback. So, but it's very rare. Very rare. That is, I would have to say that's a rare game. That's one of the rare games out there. It's available in Michigan. Yes, and only for $624 a month for 24 months. For $13,000 you can have a piece of KISS history. KIS-R. Michael Torrey if you will. And Gene and all the members have it signed too. They do? Yes. Where? Jack Beller, Truck driver Double Drive customer English What would you say yourself in потому delivery shows that areстановитсяin automobile fallout to Jamie Lee Curtis, Eric Ames, and coaches in the 보 indicy? John Delancey. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Raymond Davidson to win. Okay. Yep. That's really going out on a limb there with that prediction. It is. It is. Who's playing in it? Is there a list of... Nope. I don't think there's a list that anyone has. Because I wonder if Timmy's going to be in it. Timmy! Timmy! He was there yesterday. I saw him in the background. Timmy! Timmy! Come on, Timmy. Come on our show. Yep. Right after the announcement. Right after the announcement of Steve Ritchie's new game. And don't forget the flipper code for us. Yes, please. Please, I want a flipper code for Slam Tilt. Please. You did it for Dead Flip. Do it for Slam Tilt. We put over Stern all the time. Well, do we? Really? Yes. Wait a minute. You're a Stern Army member. Yes, I am. There you go. Stern. Stern. I know. Stern, Stern, Stern. Stern, Stern, Stern, Stern. That's what I'm looking forward to. Steve Ritchie is the game. Because, you know, Steve Ritchie's my guy. Oh, I love his... I want to see what original theme I come up with. Play better. I like a lot of his games except for the last one. Everyone's going to think it's Black Knight 3000 and High Speed 3. It's going to be No Fear 2. No, no, no. It's going to be... I don't fear too. Stellar Wars. Stellar Wars, too. Stellar Wars 2 is going to be a wide body. It's going to be a a bi-level playfield, wide body. It's only going to be available as an LE. Yikes. They're going to use the Jersey Jack model. This is just going to be like, just packed, and people are going to buy it because it's just deep ritchy. It's going to be great, I can't wait. It's gonna have a super... it's gonna have like every toy you ever came up with. So I'll have a supercharger in one part, there'll be VUX everywhere, and of course I'll have a three flipper layout. Magnets underneath the playfield. Magnets, it's gonna have a cannon. Oh yeah. We'll literally just take every element he's ever done and just... Backbox kicker. Backbox, it's gonna have an RPG in the back. Yep. Dual stage kickback like roller games. Yep. Yeah! I'm liking this game. Call it ramps. Yep. What else? What other Steve Ritchie? Will Manolo have a... Dual cannon. No, we have to have dual cannons. Not the single, dual. Dual, but at different spots this time. We're not going to put them on the slingshots. They're going to be in various parts of the playfield. One back. You can actually battle against each other. Battle. You can fire the cannons at each other. Yes. Yes. And if you get the ball back in the other guy's cannon, you win. So, it's going to have hyperball elements too. Yes. So, there's a little mini playfield where you play hyperball. You spell out stuff. You play hyperball. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Slam-Tilled Podcast.
