After teasing the game for the past several days, this afternoon Jersey Jack Pinball officially took the wraps off of its latest game, The Godfather 50th Anniversary. The machine was designed by Eric Meunier with art by Christopher Franchi and Jesper Jesper Abels, animations by Jean-Paul de Win and rules and programming by Keith P. Johnson.
To start the game, players will select one of the Five Families, using them to try to take control of New York City by spreading their influence over a Risk-like map of various areas through recruiting soldiers to do jobs, taking out enemies in the various Families and gaining the favor of politicians.
The three-flipper game has "29 unique ball paths, a 3-ball lock capable of feeding all three flippers, “The Compound” active newton-ball lock, four custom sculpts (an interactive Caporegime, Statue of Liberty, LED animated water fountain, bust of Vito Corleone), an under-playfield subway system, exclusive JJP HotRail lighting, and more."
The game contains full integration of audio and video assets of characters from the The Godfather's scenes and actors. The pinball machine makes use of a custom soundtrack, featuring an electric guitar version of the theme song “Speak Softly Love” by Slash and a vocal version of the song by Grammy Award Winning musician Mark Mark Tremonti, known for his stints in the bands Creed and Alter Bridge.
Production of The Godfather pinball is limited to 1,000 Collector's Edition (priced at $15,000) and 5,000 Limited Edition (priced at $12,000) machines. Production of the game has already begun.

Begin your journey by selecting from the Corleone, Tattaglia, Barzini, Cuneo, or Stracci families. Each family offers unique abilities to aid in your progression in ruling NYC. Rip the opto-spinners to upgrade your weapons and start flinging 10x playfield multiplier Molotov cocktails for major points. Bash the interactive Caporegime toy to clear a path to the Heads of the opposing families and get ready for an interactive pinball playthrough of the most iconic scene in movie history, the Baptism.
