The Thank you. Thank you for watching. That's right guys, we're not adding to the intro here, we're going straight to me. Oh, now I'm way loud. Let's fucking turn this down. And I'm already burting out the F word. I'm going to keep you guys guessing here on whenever I decide to do an extended intro, or I'm just going to get right into it after the startup timer. I don't want you guys always thinking, oh, Kerry started streaming, but he's got a long intro, so I'll chime in here in about five or ten minutes. Like, no, I'm not going to make it the same every time. What's going on guys? Why does it seem like, am I coming in hot to you guys on audio wise? It looks like I'm like peaking a lot and I should not be, but it looks like I am. Let me turn it down a little bit more and you guys let me know if I'm like too loud or not loud enough. Audio is perfect. Sounds fine. Okay. Evel Dead, Hary Potter. Sperry Pinting System All right. So, um, but yeah, there's a lot of information in regards to what's going on with my channel, but I'm not going to reveal that here just yet. Still little things in the air, but stick with me. All right, let's see. Let's make sure this works. JJ can make loops consistent Sonic so they are just bash toys.
5:50
That would be awful. That would be awful. Sonic is going to be dope. I can confirm. Sterling, yes. Sonic is a banger. It slaps. And for those that don't already know this, if you have not watched any content that I have behind my paywall, yes, I have played Sonic already. I have put many games on there. I have played alongside Steve Ritchie on this game. I have seen it in all of its glory. Now, can I discuss every minute detail and what's underneath the glass to you? Not yet. And rightfully so. Even though there has been information that's been put out there and due to certain content that was released today, some of that has been confirmed basically in regards to what you're seeing in that short little video.

Sonic or Potter? Why not both? I've got more time on Potter though. I mean, I know the code pretty well.
    7:00
And the amount of time I've got on Sonic is nowhere near. So I don't even really know the code that well on Sonic.
    7:09
But I can tell you at least on that front, the Sonic code doesn't seem to be as convoluted or complex as what Potter is.
    7:23
We're poor, can't afford to. Oh man, so let's get down to it. What's everybody feeling about Sonic right now? What's everybody thinking?
    7:37
This isn't just me talking about it. I want to get the feedback from you guys, how you're feeling about it. Because I can tell you right now, for those that don't know, yeah, CE will be in my house. Ss. I never thought I would spend, you know, that much money on a damn pinball machine. But, and this is what's going to make it difficult for me to talk about Sonic, is that I'm a big fan. This is one of my dream themes, guys, and that's one of the reasons why I'm going CE, is because this is something that speaks very close to me, to my childhood. I played it so much. I have almost, I'm not going to say every Sonic game, But I've got the core Sonic games still, cases and everything up here on the shelf, Sonic Mania, Dreamcast Sonic, I've got Sonic games that are somewhat new and everything on my Steam and everything, so it speaks to me. That is something, and that is the reason why I'm going CE. And if the arcade edition is still, just like with Harry Potter, if it's still got everything underneath the glass, as the collector's edition, I think you're still going to get a great shooting damn game.
    8:55
No question. But, that topper is pretty cool, and it is a very pretty game, and it's something that really speaks to me. So I'm going CE. That's just me, though.
    9:10
If you're just a guy that likes a good shooting game, then you may just want to go with your arcade.
    9:19
Unlimited CEs like Potter? Possibly. I don't know for sure. I do not. But it wouldn't surprise me. This may be their method going forward.
    9:31
Mark Ritchie and a Steve Ritchie Pulp and Sonic. Thinking arcade versions and wait for CE to drop to 13K and swap down the road. Okay, Robert. I mean, out of curiosity, are there any current, well, I guess there probably is some Harry Potter CEs that are probably dropped down from 15, but you got to think it's been out for over a year. So I guess technically if you're at the patience to wait a year, then you can get you a Sonic for lower.
    10:01
Sega Genesis, Richie, what else do you need to know? Maybe arcade edition for me. Hopefully you got a train AC system. No, I didn't get train. I got Armstrong, which is a brand that I haven't heard of before, but I reached out to some HVAC people that I'm friends with and they confirmed for me that it's a pretty solid system. A lot of commercial businesses use that and they have very little issues, so I'm trusting in that. Cary, there was a Sonic and Tails Spinner Arcade game that came out in 2002. Thank you for watching. I don't know what to take of that. I'm not sure. I don't think I followed that one all the way. I'm not sure. I might be getting that confused. I'm not sure if you're insulting somebody or not. I hope you've been doing well, brother. I have, but it has honestly been a very exhausting day. So, yeah, I'm having an energy drink at nine o'clock at night to keep me somewhat going here. GamerCast.com Bane, Gretel, and Gretel. I can say that by a lot of Stern games. Don't have a urge to play it kind of thing. But if I play a game and I want to play it more and play it more, there's something about that game that speaks to me. Everybody has their little thing that speaks to them. That's the great thing about pinball. And I've said this many times and I'll say it many times again to each their own. Like, you know, something that I enjoy, like, you know, Potter, for instance, a lot of people are probably not going to like that, whether they think the code's too complex or they don't like the way it shoots or whatever. Good. You have you got your opinion. You've got your style. Stick with it. Whatever makes you happy. That's all that matters. Just don't yuck on my yum and I'm not going to do it to you. If you think that, you know.
    13:34
There are certain games are really good out there for like Cheetah. Jeff at Dirty Pool. I know you love your cheetah or whatever that game is called.
    13:43
Not cheetah. Why am I calling it that? Partially asleep. What's that damn game that's horrible that he likes?
    13:51
Raven. Thank you. Yeah, Raven. You like Raven? Okay. You do you, boo. Thank you. I forgot all about that. I was like, there's a game that I don't like, but he loves. And I'm like, all right, you do you. So again, though, just buy what you enjoy. Thank you for watching. Some of the things that he's seen under the glass, but it's still something that speaks to him and he likes the way it shoots.
    14:41
To each their own, guys. It's the same way. I did a little podcast behind Patreon in regards to this. I was comparing sex and pinball. It kind of goes the same. Everybody's got, you know, their kink. Not everybody likes the same thing. That's why there's so many... Anyways, I don't know what age group is watching this, so we'll cut that right there where it's at. But you know what I'm talking about.
    15:06
Oh, man, let's see what we got going on here. Do you like Sonic better than Potter? It's too soon to say that, guys. It wouldn't be fair because their play styles are completely different.
    15:19
And like, so for instance, for Sonic, let me tell you this. It's almost nonstop. You're not going to get much time to catch your breath. The only time that I can remember, and here's the other thing guys, bear with me, it's been a few weeks since I've played it, so I've already forgot a lot of things.
    15:44
So for instance, I was telling my patrons about the art package, I was like, when I first saw the game, my initial thoughts were Toy Story 4 vibes. And I think people saw the cabinet today and thought the same thing initially. You saw the red, you saw the blue, and you're like, hmm, a little bit of Toy Story 4 vibes there. So I know it wasn't the only one.
    16:10
Faster than Potter and Elton? It's, I don't know an exact speed on that, William. I don't know. But, I mean, this game is consistently fast. That's the thing about this, is that with Potter, you've got some fast shots, but not all of it is fast. There's some slowdown to it. Elton, from what I can recall, is a damn fast game, got some good flow to it, but it was just a theme that didn't really speak to me, even though I was seeing it along the entire time playing the game. But for me, with Sonic, and like I said, I can't get into details about the game, but I'll tell you right now. Now, if you go through the pin side thread on the Sonic hype thread, there are some pinball sleuths that have broken down the stuff that they've released so far frame by frame and are speculating on things. And I'm not going to confirm what is right and what is wrong, but there are definitely some sleuths out there that have nailed it on what they think is going on with some of the stuff that they've seen. And there's a lot of other things that are just nowhere near.
    17:26
Is it a top 10 game? I don't know, that's difficult to say right there. I mean, will it be? I think a lot of people will enjoy this. I really do, especially you Sonic fans. The only kind of guarantee that I can give you is that if you have as much passion and enjoyment for Sonic as I do, I believe that you're going to be very satisfied with this game. Every shot felt good. I found the shots pretty quick. Well, it's kind of easy to say that because, I mean, for those that have seen the leaked playfield image, it's a fan layout. And for me, not being a fan layout referable decision kind of thing, I think even though it is that, it just shoots so good. And even though you're going somewhere, it doesn't mean that immediately it's going to come out on the other side.
    18:21
Trust me, guys, I'm trying my damnedest not to give away stuff because I want to tell you what this game is going to do when you make a particular shot and what's going on in a certain area of the play field. I want to. But I also want you to see this game for the first time as it's presented in the video format that they're, you know, preparing and getting ready. Because it's going to be one of those experiences. They've got a lot of things ready to release, guys. And I mean, I'm not giving away anything here. I don't think it's giving away when I'm saying that you're going to get a very long video in regards to this. Kind of like Avatar, like a 20 minute long video. You're getting that with Sonic as well. Thank you for watching. I just don't like getting my ass kicked and pinball like that. I'm like, this isn't fun whenever I'm just getting my ass kicked like that. And then you can say, play better. Okay. But I'm just saying that I enjoyed the way Sonic shot much faster than me trying to learn to play better with Wick.
    19:56
Two flippers or three flipper game? There are... I can't give you play field specifics, guys. Sperry Pinball
    20:34
So because don't be wrong, I enjoy the hell out of Harry Potter. As of right now, I've got no plans to sell it or get rid of it or anything, but I am going to be thinning the herd very soon. Just a heads up, because like I said, there's plans for this channel that are going to be building up. My patrons are well aware of it. There's things that I'm about to start doing that I'm hoping that they and as well as you guys out there will enjoy. Things I have not done yet and it may upset certain people and it may get people excited. I don't know. We'll see. Every pin kicks my ass. Yeah. I would love to buy a JJP someday. I just can't jive with the audio encoding.
    21:16
Yeah. And that's the thing with Harry Potter. For me, when I initially played it, I didn't know what I was doing. So at the point in time, and that's how when I first play a game, I'm not too focused on code. I want to feel out the shots. Where does the ball go when I hit this? Where does the ball go when I make this shot? I need to know and understand the layout and the ball paths.
    21:39
Then I start trying to go, what's my objectives? What am I trying to do? So whenever I first played Sonic, I've got the coder and I've got Steve Ritchie explaining that while I'm also learning the shots. Sperm of the Night For those of you out there saying coins instead of rings, inside I die a little bit. Just so you know, whenever I hear people say coins instead of rings, this isn't Mario, this is Sonic.
    22:33
They're rings. So, when you're collecting rings, you're going to hear that ring sound effect when you're making combo shots.
    22:42
Just so you know. So when you make a certain shot, you're going to hear some rings. And after that shot, you make another shot after that, it's there. Thank you for watching. I just didn't like the CE topper. I was like, nope, not for me. But the topper for Potter is got a lot going on. Visually and mechanically.
    23:39
We got Christopher Tranchi in here. Did Sonic have that one more game feel? Yeah, I cannot wait to play it more. I wanted to play it more. As a matter of fact I know somebody else that was coming there the same day that I did to play it and I wanted to piggyback with them I mean hey can I go with you to get some more time on it kind of thing I wanted to play it more If I didn want to play it more I wouldn be excited about it And I just would have left and been like, yeah, but I want more time on this game.
    24:16
I mean, like I said in my review for Potter, it's one of those games that if you take the time to learn the code, you will appreciate the game. But I completely understand if it seems overwhelming and complex. I'm not calling you stupid or whatever or lazy or something like that. I understand that. I get it.
    24:35
But if you do learn the code, it's a hell of an experience on that game. Amy Rose has a couple of same features like Sonic.
    24:48
Same features like you're talking about physically or how they look, I'm guessing. Discussing thinning the herd, which games are you considering parting with?
    24:58
Don't know if I want to say just yet. Might trigger some people. Got to wait and see. The getaways, getting the ax. I don't know. Maybe, maybe, maybe I'm getting rid of one Richie game and I'm getting another.
    25:16
Jurassic getting axed, possibly. Basically, the game Sonic up with Beetlejuice, Evil Dead, once again, completely different kind of play styles, guys.
    25:28
Completely different. I don't know when it comes to theme integration. I don't know if anybody's going to be able to compete up there with what Spooky's got going on.
    25:41
I mean, don't get me wrong, there's theme integration and Sonic. Could there be more? Yeah, there could. Thank you for watching. Other questions that I might be able to answer in regards to Sonic. I just can't give you playfield details kind of thing. I mean, if it's in the footage that you're seeing on the stuff like that, you know, I can probably confirm and deny certain things, but I can't give you playfield specifics. And I think if the game doesn't get leaked early and you get to see the launch videos in there, the way the game was meant to be revealed, I think you truly will appreciate it. If this game gets leaked out before then, man, it's going to spoil your initial reaction to watch this game in action. And I was talking to JJP today actually in regards to the video that got released. And I'm just like, I want to know how they're going to film certain things.
    27:10
And they've evidently, they've got it figured out. I'm like, how are you going to be able to film this? How are you going to be able to show this off and everything and their goal? We got it. And I have complete faith. I am stoked for how this game launch video is going to be revealed. How are sounds and music?
    27:55
So there's surprises. I'm willing to bet, God forbid, this game gets leaked early playfield like Harry Potter. If the playfield got leaked, there's things that you're still not going to be able to see.
    28:12
Right there. Who made the playfield, Mirko or Bader? I do not know. Any feel-good shots? Yeah, I'd say every shot. Felt good on this game.
    28:32
Okay, yeah, so some people question this in regards to the red armor on the CE. To an extent, it's understandable. But remember that they're going more, I think, in my opinion, this is not confirmation from their mouths, but I look at it as the red armor is also like Sonic's shoes. He's got red shoes. Bane, Gale, and Gale, the two of them, are the main characters of Sonic the Hedgehog. Two completely different play styles, guys. And I've got a lot more time on Potter than I do on Sonic. So I think giving that, I mean, right now I'm still going to say Potter because I'm so familiar with it.
    29:35
But, you know, once Sonic gets here and I get some games on it and I start learning the code and everything, that's when I get to make a better educated decision kind of thing with lack of emotion behind it. And that's going to be the tricky thing about this thing for me, guys, is whenever I talk about it, I'm going to try my damnedest to be objective about it, but there's a chance that there's going to be a little bit of bias towards the theme.
    30:02
Just being real with you. Nothing to do with the manufacturer. Nothing to do with Steve Ritchie. Nothing like that. It's just that this is a strong theme for me. The theme itself just makes sense for pinball. It's one of those things that, like, yeah, it's like a no-duh situation. Sperling, what's better, Barrels Reserve or Potter?
    30:50
I'm excited for it. Can't wait to play it again. Get more time on it. Out with the dogs. But Sonic LE Blue Armor. So the middle tier. Yeah, Blue Armor. Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, it's Sonic Blue. So that's what it that's what has been revealed to have kind of thing. And Spy Hunter or Sonic? That's a tough one, Sterling. I don't know, man. Tough call on that one.
    31:26
You think Goonies may overshadow Sonic when released? Well, this is the thing in the hobby, guys, when it comes to any new game release, is that any new game released is automatically the new hotness and everybody's talking about it. That's something that I learned over my time in this hobby and getting to talk to manufacturers, all of them hearing and seeing things behind the scene. Is that us as consumers, as customers, as enthusiasts, players, tournament, whatever, there's obviously a trend for us. It's always like excitement for new product. Consume new product. Start getting excited about next new product. FOMO drives sales in this industry. Any callouts? Any loops?
    32:25
Russell, I thought there was some sleuths online that were able to determine that they saw something that was representing a loop. But I will tell you this, as a Sonic fan, I would not purchase a Sonic game that did not have a loop.
    32:49
Thank you for watching. Bete Steve Ritchie on one of the games I played with him. And yeah, I'm going to brag about that. He might have been going easy on me. So what?
    33:27
But after I finished my time on the game, what I felt was relief. I was just like, good. They did not mess up something that's close to me. They did not mess this theme up. I was relieved. I was like, man, if they screw this up, if they give me a game that doesn't have this and this, or if I see cake toppers in there, you know, and stuff, I'm gonna be upset. Now, are there things that are not in this game that I wish there was? Yes. Just saying. There are some things that I'm like, man, I really wish they would have been able to do this. Now, not all of that is mechanical. But just saying, am I like 100% they nailed this thing, not missing or able to do something? No.
    34:29
There are some things that I wish were in there. Like what? Yeah. But it's not enough to deter me away from getting the game, guys. Thank you for watching. Gersey Jack Pinball discussing Bepal, Eglon, and Eglon. The imagination starts building up a game that will never meet your expectations. You can build a better game in your mind than any engineer can.
    35:54
So by starting it a week before, that helps kind of thing. You know, we're kind of building up the excitement, teasing things, kind of basically edging us, you know, Look towards the potential climax and release that we're going to see a week from now.
    36:13
If we did what they did with Predator, what was it, like three weeks? And after a while, we were just like, I'm done. I don't even care anymore kind of thing. And I know there's people out there that are just like, don't even tease it. Just release the game. We want it now. We want that instant gratification. God forbid if I order something on Amazon and I have to wait two days, there's no next day delivery. Screw that. And I've been there.
    36:41
What did I miss about Barrels of Fun? We haven't got to that topic yet. That is next. That's awesome news. Thank you. I just put a deposit on one. For which one? Did you get a particular tier or just the game in general?
    36:58
I actually enjoy the Tiki Pinball 2. It's not great, but not bad either. TS4 is a fun game overall. Yeah, trust me. I mean, I don't like it. But that's just me.
    37:09
But there's people out there that do enjoy it, and that's awesome. Because in the end, all that matters, guys, is you enjoy it. If you think that Transformers has everything and they did it great and you enjoy how it plays, that's all that freaking matters. It don't matter if I don't like it or I don't care to play it anymore or whatever. It doesn't matter. All that matters is how you feel about it. Don't let my commentary determine if you like or dislike a game. Russell, thank you very much for the $20. Very much appreciated, man.
    37:44
And Russell, by the way, during my cleaning out of the garage, I found a bunch of Earthshaker stuff. And I believe even Last Action Hero stuff that I need to give to you at some point in time, just so you know. But yeah, so I don't know. People think that I get on here and talk poorly or positively about certain games to help move machines or sell games or whatever. Like, no, I don't crowdsource my thoughts and feelings on games. I don't lie about how I feel on a game. Why did my Beetlejuice start playing? Thank you for watching. I thought I said the name and so it started the game. I need to disable the damn spooky speak while I'm streaming because there's a lot of times it thinks I say the flipping out bye bye bye and then it says it a lot. It says it too often actually.
    39:07
I want to hear the flipping out. Yeah, yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if that would have started playing.
    39:13
And then he told us to buy HP and Sonic then called us poor. Who did this? What did I miss? Is that just part of the conversation? Thank you for watching. Yeah, and trust me, the one time that I bought a game that I didn't play first, what game was that, guys? And it wasn't because it was a bad game. It was just because I decided to buy the frickin' LE of it.
    40:39
Yeah, if I would have gotten a lower tier, I would have been much easier on that. But, oh man, getting the LE chapped my ass. Thank you for watching.
    41:19
But if you want to get a pro or premium, I'll tell you how I feel about the game or whatever. If you feel like you're going to be missing out on some of the perks. But as far as the LEs go, I'm just never going to recommend one until they change their ways and make it to where I feel like it's more bang for your buck. And that the value is there. I'm just not perceiving the value, in my opinion.
    41:42
Spooky needs to focus on their flippers. What's wrong with their flippers? First, I mean, I've only got, this is my only spooky I've ever owned, but I mean, as far as, I don't have any flipper issues at least.
    41:55
Speak up, sir, what do you wish Sonic had that it doesn't? So for me, I, audio is very important to me.
    42:07
And especially when it comes to nostalgia. And so as much as I would love certain audio files being in this game, currently I'm not hearing certain things that I think that should be in there or could be in there. And they could be somewhere further into the code or whatever, but right now I'm not hearing it. I guess it's because I'm expecting to hear what I'm accustomed to, like the old school classic Genesis. I want to hear certain levels because they're just embedded in my mind. But these are different audio things that you're hearing when it comes to levels. Not that they're bad. I don't know if they're bad, honestly, because there was some talking going on. So I don't want to like say the audio is bad. It's not bad. It's just that I'm not getting the full nostalgic gut punch with audio just yet. That could change as I get it and play a lot and then it hits me kind of thing.
    43:09
Confirm, know, live, and learn or escape from the city music is in it. Is ring sound for the spinner?
    43:19
Ring sounds are going to be on combo shots there, Albert. So think about that. That's not giving away anything right there. I mean, obviously, a pinball machine is going to have shots for combos. Most of them do, but you're going to hear those rings when you're making combo shots. Bane, Ewan, and Ewan. And I feel like if they don't have this, this is a miss. When it comes to audio, and I think all of you out there can agree with this, but if you turn on your Sonic Pinball machine and it goes to complete boot up, what's the first sound that you should hear?
    44:29
Sega! That is like guaranteed what it should be. You can't not have that. If it's not in there, JJP, reach out to Sega, see what you can do. You've got to get it in there. There's no way that owners, arcade owners, whatever, are going to be mad about that being the first thing that they hear when their game boots up.
    45:01
If they do, what's wrong with you kind of thing? I would love to hear that every time I tell my game to turn on and then all of a sudden I hear Sega. I'm like, yeah. Gut punch nostalgia. Just right there. Did I hear it boot up? No, the game was already booted up. I played, they had a CE cabinet with the CE playfield in it. And they had the medium tier cabinet completely built up with the CE playfield, and that's the one I played. But I didn't play on the CE cabinet, I played on the middle tier cabinet.
    45:39
But it was already booted up. I don't think they have. I mean, there are certain picks that have been released today. I mean, I guess I could bring them up right now and we can discuss them if you want to. But there are some of the CE cabinet picks that got leaked out.
    45:59
Also, a heads up for those that are curious, tomorrow some more stuff is going to drop. So keep that in mind. There may be a day or two where you're not going to get any new information because they're kind of going to drip drop it out. But I believe that there's going to be some more stuff that's going to get released tomorrow.
    46:18
What time? I would assume probably the same time as today. But I don't know for sure. Okay, so people want to see the pics. Okay, let me bring it up.
    46:34
Okay, Aiden, I'm seeing the picture that you sent me right here in regards to the Sonic Arcade Spinner game. Okay, I think I have seen it before at auctions. I've never played it before. All right, where am I going to find these picks?
    46:50
Let's go to JJP's Facebook page. Please and thank you. All right, we'll get on it. We'll get this. We'll get this.
    47:00
Today, Internet, I've got a great stream speed-wise, but why does it take forever to load up? Here we go. Let's see here.
    47:13
JJP just happens to be my recent visit. Let's go here. So, display. All right. So, this was the initial release right here showing off the front of your CE cabinet.
    47:35
You see that sparkle? Spergel that is all over that damn cabinet guys that is all over it if you're like I don't like sparkle on my pinball machines then you're gonna freaking hate this game because this game's got a lot of sparkle on it all right let's see what else uh I thought they dropped some images where'd those images get dropped at let me uh let me find the other images real quick because they on like Pinside and everything and I put them up on
    48:08
Okay, here we go. So main display. All right, so I guess I could zoom in on this maybe. It's a horrible idea. Let me save these images first so I can actually blow them up.
    48:28
Where are these images at? Start at the top and work your way down nice and slow. Then we go to download, save that image.
    48:43
Save that image. And save that image. I want to say there's only like three or four pictures that were released. All right. So now that I've got those saved on the desktop.
    48:58
Who just did something? Ozzy! Coming in hardcore with the hundred dollars. Let's talk about Transformers and how well it shoots. Shut up, Ozzy! Always wanting to change the subject to Transformers. Alright, let's see here. Boot up! What are you doing?
    49:22
There we go. Alright, so let's start with this one. This is your middle tier. I think it's pretty obvious because you have a basic shooter knob. But as you can see, the middle tier is going to be blue, Sonic Blue. Bicentennial
    50:08
PINBLED TUNE And then the other picture is the shooter knob for the CE. Make sure I get that up on here to show how awesome Ozzy is.
    50:40
For those that haven't met Ozzy, really great dude. And honestly, just so we're real and up front, because I like to be honest with you guys, The only reason that I got to play Sonic and go and play Transformers is because of that man. Just so you know.
    50:59
All right. Anyone know of any how many JGPCs were are red? OK, so here's the thing is. Do you know? Oh, the C's in general. Well, Toy Story four was red, wasn't it?
    51:19
Let's see here. For $100, better hear the man. Oh, man. If you haven't played, no IKEA fasteners. Yeah, there's no IKEA fasteners on JJP Games. Wonder if they will have an arcade video mode with OG. I don't know. I should have asked that if they were going to have some kind of video mode for that. That would be kind of cool.
    51:46
I don't know, though. Let's see. Take it slow. So those are the main pictures that were released today in regards to Sonic. But I think some people would like and need to hear about the next topic, and that is Barrels of Fun.
    52:06
So let me get a drink here, guys. And let me bring up their press release today on this, because I think there's a lot. Sperry Pintball, Evel Dead, Hary Potter. Beryl did today. Where are we at on this, guys? What are everybody's thoughts and opinions on what Beryl is doing? And then we'll get into talking about it.
    52:58
Discuss amongst yourselves while I find this press release. So, I would have liked to have had all this ready to go, but I literally got off the phone discussing this, and I was like, okay, let's talk about it kind of thing. All right, so for those that aren't in the know, you may not be in the know, so I'm going to read.
    53:25

    54:58
So, how are we feeling about this guys? From me just reading it, what are your initial impressions on this? Let's do a poll. I'm mainly curious. Let's see here.
    55:12
Let viewers weigh in. Do you like this move? Yes or no? Basically right there.
    55:24
Pretty simple question. While that poll starts tallying up, I'm going to let the dogs back in. They're barking and howling at the damn moon. Not moon, but me. Be right back.
    55:38
All right, let's see where we are at on this move. Why is it not showing me the move on this? Is it because I've got this stretched out too far?
    56:12
I can't see the poll for whatever reason, guys. What is going on here? So I'm seeing so far 67% are saying yes, they like this move.
    56:21
All right, sounds like they're saying buy from us and don't buy from dealers. I get what you're saying, Sterling, but stick with me. My story gets better. I bought in. I love the company. I own their machines. I want to support them.
    56:35
Ozzy said I signed up. Let's scroll up and see what everybody else is saying. Oh, seems amazing. Also seems like it won't work.
    56:45
Whether you like this move or not, can we all agree that the name is at least cool? For those of us out there that drink, I think the Barrels Reserve, it's got a nice ring to it. It's a nice name.
    56:59
All right, is Barrels doing a barbecue sequel? So, I think it will take killer licenses to have basically unlimited CEs, and I don't think they have those type of titles. Okay.
    57:13
All right. So, let's end the poll, if I can. End poll. What was the tally on that? Okay. So, 70% say they like this move, 30% say no.
    57:27
All right. Alright, so let me see. I wanted to get it before. Let me talk about it and then we're going to do another poll to see if this information sways your thinking about it. Alright, so who do you think is going to be pissed off about this and why? I'm just out of curiosity. Who do you think this impacts the most on this decision? And who is it going to basically screw over? I'm going to use the term screw over.
    58:04
Ding, ding, ding. Oh, I love it. I love it, guys. These mofos right here know it. They know it. These guys were just like flippers, scalpers kind of thing. Flippers are screwed. Exactly. So the people that are more than likely going to create a podcast and then rip this apart are the ones that like to get the limited games and then profit off of them.
    58:40
And if you want to call me out in your next podcast, go right the fuck ahead. But this is how this is going to work, guys. To make it clear as I can, let's just say their next game is going to be Scooby-Doo. The game already exists, okay? It's not Scooby-Doo. But let's just say they're like, hey, we're making 525 Scooby-Doo games.
    59:09
I'm about to turn Beetlejuice off because it keeps thinking I say bye-bye-bye. And I'm about pissed. Thank you for watching. And then...
    59:52
I'm done. Done with it. Sorry, Spooky, but I'm going to have to disable your damn spooky speech, or you're going to have to remove the whole flipping out thing. That is ridiculous. It thinks that I say whatever in my talking too often. I keep hearing bye-bye-bye behind me. I'm tired of it. So, anyways, as I was saying, you get 500 machines for Scooby-Doo. 500 orders immediately come in and they sell out, just like Winchester. Let's just use Winchester as the example because that game did come out. A lot of people did not get a chance to buy this game for a variety of reasons. Everyone has got a reason why they were not able to get this game. They chose 525. They sold out within 48 hours. And you got to think about this, guys. There's plenty of people out there in the world, not just in this hobby, that were unable to get that game. Due to just lack of being available to get online, whether you're on an airplane across the world going to China, Japan or whatever, or you're just out of the loop for a week or a couple of days, you're visiting family, something, multiple reasons. Use your imagination on why you would not know a game is dropping and you missed your chance to get a game that you would love to have because of the theme or whatever kind of thing. You've got your multiple reasons, but a lot of people miss their chance. Gere's Pinnacle of the Year, the best of the best, and the best of the best. Guaranteeing yourself a spot for the game.
    62:10
That's what this is. So if Winchester sold 525 and you didn't know the game was available or whatever, you've got seven days from when they sell out of the game. Not from when they launch the game, from when the last game, all 525 are basically sold through. Then at that moment, they'll announce seven days and counting. You will have the ability to call us, email, whatever to confirm that you want a spot. Now, here's the thing. That doesn't mean you can just buy a membership at any point in time and you're guaranteed a spot. You have to already be a member. There's going to be a window for buying a membership. You can't just buy a membership the day before or the day of and then you bought yourself a spot. No, you're going to have to buy a membership now or whenever the window closes. But here's the thing. I would keep an eye out for whenever Barrels announces that they're closing the membership window because I think that's going to be a very strong indicator that they're about to release a new game. Thank you for watching. Uh, but we'll see. I'm trying to get this information out of here so that way there's less misinformation or disinformation. And if you still don't like it, don't agree with it. Okay, fine. But so you're basically buying a spot, a guarantee. So you're like, well, Kerry, that means that they're going to make more than 525. Yes, that is true. But they're not. This is their decision. They're not trying to make games that are going to be like, I've got the one of only 300. Their target market is for them to create a game that you as collectors or pinball enthusiasts just enjoy and want to have. B1.
    65:03
Winchester, the ability to get that game potentially in seven days kind of thing. But you got to think about it also, guys.
    65:10
$75 for a year. What is that? I don't feel like doing math. What is that, like six bucks a month, maybe something like that? Not a lot. I know people look at that and go, oh, they're trying to reel in a bunch of more cash. You got to think about it in pinball terms.
    65:25
That's not a lot of money to go, oh, yeah, we're raking in the dough kind of thing. You know, let's just say they got an extra hundred members. I mean, what, you think $7,500 is going to hold them over kind of thing?
    65:39
Yeah, what scalper won't spend $75 to make more money? And that's the thing, is like, this kills the scalpers, guys.
    65:47
Unless, I mean, I mean, because you've got seven days. The reason why scalpers are able to do what they're going to do is because they're buying up an allotment. They're buying it up, and then the demand is there for it, and they try to sell it. You know, I'm not going to explain it. Everybody's got their reason behind the scalping thing, but it's definitely going to drastically diminish the scalper market.
    66:11
But it also gives those of you out there that just didn't know about the game or didn't have time, whether it be like, hey, let's just say, for instance, Winchester gets released and you're like, hey, let's discuss it, babe. Look at this video for this thing. Look at this awesome video that Kerry did for Winchester. And you're like, yeah, should we get it? I don't know. Let's think about it for a day or two. You've got a day or two, if you remember. You've got seven days to think about it and make a decision.
    66:39
F scalpers. Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are on board with that. And you know what? And Barrels doesn't like it either. The whole scalper situation kind of thing. And a lot of people, when they buy these machines, they look at it from a perspective of like, I want to make sure that it retains value or I can get more money out of it when I decide to sell it. Don't we all?
    67:02
Don't we all wish that was the case back in COVID times when you could buy a machine and sell it for more? That would be great. But then life kicks in and the real world kicks in where pretty much everything that you buy these days diminishes.
    67:21
I'm not going to go into car arguments, but I could. My midnight release, Beetlejuice, lasted a week. Shaking my head, if Spooky can dial in flippers, then they have hit perfection. Franchi Hardwork, nothing comes close to quality. And trust me, I mean, I had all kinds of questions in regards to this, guys. But I think distros have their feelings about this, too. But it's not taking away what the distros are going to be able to make. They're still going to have an allotment of games like they normally would. I think everybody benefits from this.
    68:00
You're getting people a game that hopefully they're going to enjoy. You've got the people that maybe need more time to make up their mind or figure out that the game even exists. They've got a seven-day window to still be guaranteed a game. So you're satisfying those people right there.
    68:20
Then you've got obviously the distros that get their allotment. They're selling their games. They're getting their money. So those guys are happy. Then you've got Barrels that, one, is taking less flack for not making enough games, because that's the biggest complaint that Spooky gets, Barrels gets, is that they didn't make enough. This way, they make exactly what they need, or what the demand was. No manufacturer knows how many games they need to make. None. Do you think Stern has figured it out? They've been around for a long time. They all play the guessing game, guys. They all do. That's why the LE allotment and how many are made, one of the reasons, is because they're like, oh man, we just got to figure out where that sweet spot is. Nobody's really figured it out. It's a big guessing game. They're trying to take the guesswork out of it. They're like, hey, here's a game. Do you want it? Sspectrum
    69:49
Thank you for watching. I did this because how I feel about their products and I want them to succeed. I have paid, I would have paid $500,000. Oh yeah, $200,000, whatever, it's late, Ozzy, I'm tired. But the fact remains, I see this as a win-win for everybody. Not to mention, as a member, you're not just guaranteeing a spot in line, but you're getting a bunch of other perks and exclusive things just for you We'll see you next time. So talking about that, I think that one game that someone had up here, let me go to my, let's see here.
    71:23
So here's something else all here when it comes to how are they going to disperse these games. So let's just go back to Winchester again. They make 525. They sell out of those. They go, hey, guys, we just sold out at 525 units. Members, here's your time to put in your deposit or whatever kind of thing. Borel G The member window closes and that when they know for sure how many games that they going to make And when that window closes they will announce it How many games that they are going to make
    72:13
And I know that people out there are like, oh, you know, I want this game because they only made 500 or they only made 200. So it's about rarity. You want something, and I completely understand that. You want something that someone else doesn't have. I feel like their market and what they're aiming towards are those of us, and I fall into this pool, they just want a game that they love, that they enjoy.
    72:39
That's what their target market is. They're not like, you know, we want to make sure that whoever gets this game, they feel like they've got something that no one else has. No, they want to make games and satisfy as many people as they possibly can. And also not over-purchase or under-purchase materials.
    73:01
Okay, so why not just number the games then? They will be numbered. You make an initial number. I believe that's what they're planning on doing at least. The initial allotment or whatever kind of thing. Well, they're going to throw a number out there. It's a guessing game. Every manufacturer does this. Every manufacturer goes, let's make these many, and they pray. They pray that the market shows up for it.
    73:31
They always have been meaningless. Stern Pros have a production number two. Yeah. And this is also still this is the infancy of it. They're trying it out. And if it doesn't work out in their heads the way they thought it or hoped it would, then they'll change things up.
    73:56
Russell, again, with the $20, let me just talk to you. Control Free. I don't even think you guys hear it, but I hear it, and I'm just tired of hearing the bye-bye-bye thing.
    74:06
They did not know Winchester was going to sell out if they knew they would have made more. Yeah, and that's the thing. No manufacturer knows. If they knew exactly, this is something I think every manufacturer would love to know, is how many they should make of a game. If they knew that they could make 500 or 600, 700 and they were guaranteed a sellout, kind of like how Spooky's got going on, they know that their next game is going to sell out.
    74:32
And if they could, they would produce more, but they choose not to and that's their plan. Every manufacturer comes up with a plan and if it works for them, they stick to it.
    74:44
And they're learning. Barrels has been around for three years, guys. So there's still things that they're learning, especially when it comes to supply and demand.
    74:55
And I think they've progressed pretty far in three years. They should just release games and build to demand with no numbers then.
    75:07
Hmm. It's like no numbers at all. Just say we got a game. Buy it. But the point of the reason why they have a number on there and the reason why they draw a line is so they know how many orders to buy. Or unless you're just saying, here's a game, order within the next seven days. Is that what you're saying they should do?
    75:30
Just be like, here's Winchester, guys, order now. And then after seven days, go order are done. Is that what you're saying they should do, Sterling?
    75:43
Maybe. And they would probably have some reasons behind why they don't do that kind of thing. I'm not here to like, you know, go, stop dissing and I'm trying to help out barrels. I'm just trying to explain to you some of the logic behind this kind of thing. Thank you for watching. Demand wasn't quite there for it. And then now with Winchester, they kind of killed the numbers down because they were kind of expecting it to be kind of like Dune. But then the demand was way high. It's a big throwing darts at a board, it seems like, for demand. So they're just trying to figure out exactly what the demand is. They don't know. So that's why they're doing what they're doing kind of thing. But along with that, you're getting a bunch of other membership perks and everything. And I think a lot of the collectors out there are saying that, you know, what, six bucks a month or whatever, well worth it kind of thing. It's like, wow, that's not that big of a deal. You're guaranteed a spot if you choose to buy the game. If you don't like that plan or whatever, you don't have to buy a machine.
    77:22
All I know is I demand that the demand be met. All right, so that's the Barrels of Fun thing. I believe that I'm hoping that I gave a little bit more information. I don't know. We'll see. And out of curiosity, with that information, let's ask the same question again and see if that swayed one way or the other.
    77:48
And don't you bastards try to do no just so you can weigh the scale down or anything. Thank you for watching. Undecided. Going back to barrels in November when I go to the Houston show this year for sure.
    78:36
It is fine. Just give us one and don't be greasy about it. Call it what it is. Uncapped production for a seven-day order back. Either way, it seems like they just want to meet demand. A lot of people were upset that they did not get a Winchester, guys. Thank you for watching. Selling direct from barrels of fun and with the distributors, it's going to be a 50-50 split. So in case that's curious for you guys, if you buy it from a distro or you buy it from them, let's just say they make 20 games a week. 10 are going to distros, 10 are being sold through direct.
    79:44
No, they want to increase the sales of their machine. Pick a number. Who wouldn't want to increase the sales? Sperry Pintlejuice, Evel Dead, Hary Potter. And a lot of people didn't like the whole show game thing.
    80:27
Everyone's got their own method. This is a method that Barrels is going to try. Well, that's the thing is, I believe the logic behind it is that they say they're making 300 machines. Buechner, B.J. Harkin, S.T.A.M.P.E.R.S.
    81:14
Beryl's using that Texas man. Yeah. They can make money. I don't want to wait a year. Oh, but yeah. So, all right, let's close up the poll. It looks like I don't know how many votes the first one got. So there's only 36 votes, but it did go up technically on the yes by 8%. I mean, this is not a very large amount of data to go by right here, but that's what we got.
    81:47
Just keep making the game. That's the thing is that you can't just keep making the game whenever you have to order your parts by bulk. You can't just call up China for your sculpts and say, I need 10 more.
    82:04
You got to order by the hundreds. That's the thing. B.S. Okay. I guess I don't work for barrels, but I'm just saying I've speak to many manufacturers behind the closed doors and it's all the same thing.
    82:38
And when you learn more about what goes on behind the scenes, you have a little bit better understanding of it. It's very – I am one of the main people that would talk shit about manufacturers about what they should and should not do and why and not having a better understanding of it. And then when you go and visit these manufacturers and you have discussions with them on the phone or via on Zoom or whatever, and they're able to hold my hand, dummy carry, hold my hand, and baby talk me through why they had to do what they do. It's like, okay, I get it.
    83:15
It's bold killing FOMO altogether. That's the thing is that they get it that there's still a FOMO thing there and they know that FOMO drives sales. Every manufacturer knows that, guys. That FOMO is what drives sales. This is an initial, like, we gotta have it now. So the FOMO is still technically there.
    83:36
Depending on the demand, kind of thing. Yeah, stop killing FOMO. Yeah, it depends, like, yeah, it depends on what the demand is. And they don't know what the demand is on any title. No manufacturer knows what the demand is on a title. They would love to know the amount of games every manufacturer would. It's a big guessing game. Very large part is about FOMO. Yep. And they know this. Every manufacturer knows that FOMO is the primary catalyst for moving these games. This is a production of Winchester Mystery House, Evil Dead, Hary Potter. So that's why they're doing this, guys. They don't like getting complaints from people that they weren't able to get a game and getting the reasons why they weren't able to get it. They're like, I was flying to China, or I was at a wedding, or I was in a coma, whatever. It's like, I couldn't get a game that I really wanted because the demand was so high, and I just wasn't at my computer in time. So are you saying that if it's going to be a huge game, they can't place a second order? No, I'm saying they only want to place one order.
    85:22
Like I said, baseline of 300, let's say they sell all 300. They open it up for seven days. You've got seven days, if you're a member, to order your game. After seven days, that game shut off is done. That's all they're making of that title. And then guess what? They go, all right, China, we need 300 and whatever of these parts. We need 300 of these. They know exactly how many to order. It's kind of an efficiency thing.
    85:52
Kerry, please blink at the game. It's big trouble in little China. I've been blinking this entire time, guys. From what I'm told, I mean, Franchi's been on here before, and he has said that it's basically impossible for Big Trouble in Little China to be officially licensed.
    86:12
I'm going by what he says. And I'm not going to lie to you guys. If I knew what they were having, I would at least acknowledge that I do know. But I don't know.
    86:28
I know how manufacturing works to a very large extent too. I work in the semiconductor manufacturing, been doing it for almost 20 damn years.
    86:41
And if you talk to manufacturers, a lot of manufacturing is a lot of the same. It's to eliminate risk, yeah.
    86:52
That was a big thing with Dune, guys. Why they're doing the thing for the topper. They wanted to know how many parts they need to order. They don't want to under it. They don't want to over it. They want to order what they actually need. It's about efficiency.
    87:11
How do I like Beetlejuice? I think we pretty much hammered that in with barrels. I mean, is there any other questions or anything on regards to that? It certainly is how manufacturing is done. How do I like Beetlejuice?
    87:35
You know how I said that to each their own, all games play differently, you know? There are things that I really enjoy about Beetlejuice, and there are some things that I don't like very much about Beetlejuice. And that eventually will come in when I do a review. Code is still in development, so I'm giving it time to get that done.
    88:00
Is it a game that I'm like head over heels in love with? No. It's not. Did they nail the theme? Yeah, they did. No one does it better than what they've done when it comes to putting the theme in a world under glass. Nailed it. Our work. Nailed it. Code. Still in the works. A little simple. Layout. Very debatable. Very debatable. And I was getting some flack on some kind of forum somewhere thinking that people were saying that I was lying about the game, hopping it up.
    88:39
And something about having, there was a comment on YouTube or something about getting the game merely for status. No. Now, when I was talking about Betelejuice, I hadn't played the game yet. I was going on mere aesthetics on what the game looked like. Same thing with Alice. You can't deny that Alice is a beautiful looking game.
    88:57
Maybe not everybody likes it, but I enjoyed how it looks. Very beautiful game. Betelejuice. Looks damn cool, doesn't it? If you're a Betelejuice fan and you're looking at it, that's Betelejuice. And when I first played it, which was literally midnight madness, This I assume that the way the certain shots were feeling and how it shot was because I just needed to get used to the game.
    89:18
But I never said that Beetlejuice, guys, this game shoots amazing because I didn't have that knowledge yet.
    89:28
Now I have played Sonic. And that game shoots pretty damn good. I'll talk that up because I actually played it.
    89:41
Honeymoon's over. Now, I'm just saying that there's a. It's not a perfect game. It's not the best shooter. But if you're a Beetlejuice fan and you want that theme properly represented.
    90:02
Then you've got it. But if you're like, Kerry, I want a game that shoots like butter. That's not going to be the game for you. These are things that I have no problem telling them.
    90:16
But luckily, to each their own. Some people play this game and are commenting that they love how it shoots it so smooth. And I go, okay.
    90:28
If you're happy, that's all that matters. All right, we're creeping up on, what, an hour and a half now, guys? Yeah, right there at an hour and a half. The
    91:09
I can wait another day on opening that damn thing. Go for three hours. Yeah, we'll do tomorrow, Brad.
    91:20
And send it. I'm up for a while. Send me an email. Go ahead. 44 hours stream, 1130. Yeah, it's late. And as much as I would love to stay up and chit chat with my patrons and everything while I unbox a game Bidding for the best of the best. Thank you for watching. Sssh.
    93:08
Cary bought a new house. What'd you do? I don't know. I was sticking my feet into like Jell-O, mayonnaise, whatever kind of thing. And yeah, barrels of mayonnaise, toe mayonnaise.
    93:18
To each their own. I'm not judging. Everyone's got their kink. Some people like feet. Not me, but some people do.
    93:29
If you like feet, you'll probably like the pinball machine Raven. I'm kidding. Thank you for watching. Beryl's Game That's cool. It's $75 a year. That's not that much, guys, if you think about it. And the $75 that they would get from 100 people or 200 or whatever isn't going to pay their electric bill.
    94:47
Now, what will help is the direct sales. There's no denying that. If this gives them a lot more direct sales, then yeah, that's where they're making the money. Thank you for watching. Let's end the stream on this note. Love you a long time. Thanks for tuning in. I will see you guys next time or whatever kind of thing. But I need to go eat dinner.
    95:40
War out. But all right. Love you. Bye. Thank you for watching.
