Hello. Hi. This is the Punk Rock Pinball Podcast, episode 46, Mother's Day edition. Happy Mother's Day. I'm Stephanie. I'm Mike. We're the hosts of the show. Yeah, it's Mother's Day and it's earlier than normal. It's 548 p.m. We're usually doing a late night. It's light outside. It's gorgeous outside. Georgious. So today, got a few things to talk about. Yeah, we're going to talk about some new stuff that's coming to some new merch stuff that's going to be hitting soon. Just a little sneak peek on stuff. Mm hmm. We're going to talk a little bit about some cool shit that's happening in the Facebook group. Yep. And then we're going to talk about some of our favorite things to watch on YouTube.
1:07
Okay. That's going to be kind of the outline. Our favorite, like our favorite YouTube channels. We watch YouTube every day. Yeah. I don't know why we pay for any streaming services. So much so, yeah, we barely watch anything from like Netflix or HBO or Apple. We rarely watch shows or movies now, mostly just YouTube. And then once in a while we watch a show and a movie and we're like, YouTube was kind of better.
1:37
It's true. So I just let Apple TV go. You did? I think because it was on an auto renew thing and the car changed and I let that go. Yeah. Might let, should probably cancel Netflix. I think I did. You don't watch anything on there. Y'all know Netflix is like 27 bucks now? That's crazy. 27 bucks. Remember when you used to get DVDs in the mail for Netflix? We would get DVDs in the mail and then like be way late sending them back. Mm-hmm.
2:08
But yeah, because it's a slow, like, it's a little bit slow time in new pinball news. But I think that's about to change in about 10 days. I think that's true. I think I heard something about that. So I think new pinball news will be hot and heavy in about 10 days, 10 to 12 to 14 days, depending. Within the next two weeks, there's going to be some new pinball stuff to talk about, we think. Yeah, definitely it feels like by the end of the month. Yeah. So that's exciting. Yeah.

Stephanie @ ~52:00 — Identifies specific value drivers for pinball podcast consumption (financial/business metrics)

  • “Retro Ralph Live... I feel like he's one of the more positive. He always usually has more of a positive spin than most of the others.”

Mike @ ~58:00 — Describes a key differentiator in pinball podcast landscape: tone and approach to criticism

  • “KBD Productions TV... Another Canadian. Ken. Ken from Canada... He does stealth camping, but I don't really consider Ken's stealth camping to really be all that stealthy.”

Mike @ ~70:00 — Introduces emerging YouTube preference alongside established content, showing content consumption pattern shifts

All right. So can I talk about what we got in the store? Sure. Okay. Because these are up now. You can get these right now. Okay. I don't even know what else is happening. Well, we have a whole new kind of summer lineup of punk rock pinball merch in the works.
    3:05
Doing a summer line. A summer drop. We're doing a summer merch drop. Okay. But there's a couple items that are new that you could get right now today. Link in the description below. So you asked for it. That'll probably be out of focus, I bet. Well... Probably about hold it by your face. You asked for it, and here it is. A patch. Punk Rock Pinball patch for your jacket. If you sew your own dresses and you want to put a patch on it. It's iron-on. It's iron-on or sew-on. I recommend doing a little bit of both, a combo of both. Just iron and then sew. Yeah, just kind of tack stitch it. Anchor it. Yeah, if you don't have a sewing machine. But it's really cool. And I'm very excited about this. I know most of our listeners are not women, but I know our friend Aubrey, she sews her own dresses and she's going to be so excited about this. So that's cool. We also made the same version of that patch, but an enamel pin. Cool. It's very cool. So it's nice metal. The background is almost like a seafoam green kind of deal. Yeah, it's pretty. It reminds me of Eli's one, he had a custom shop Fender Telly Jr. that was like that color. It's a great color. Yeah, it is a very unique color in the best way. I don't mean it in a bad way. And so that's cool. Also available at anxiousandangry.com. Just search Punk Rock Pinball. And this new thing that we're doing is if you come to our HQ in Bloomington, Illinois, and you win a tournament. Which you can do Saturday, May 16th. We have a doubleheader at the HQ. The first one starts at like 1 o'clock, Bloomington, Illinois. The event is on thepunkwreckpinball.com. It's in our Facebook group. We've got a doubleheader, probably worth a couple hour drive if you want to come visit us. You can win this one. It's a special yellow edition. Special yellow gold pin for winners. Winners only. That's the only way you can get it is by coming to PRPHQ and winning a tournament. And you have two chances on Saturday, May 16th. That's a Saturday coming up. Two of these gold yellow pins will be given away that day. It's so cool. This is a part of Mike's brainchild of having badges for different achievements that you make in real life. So this pin though was the brainchild of Ryan Young. He did this. Oh, he did? He did. He's like, what if I made like a gold one that you had to like earn it? Well, Ryan Young and you have a lot of similar ideas. Yeah, that was all Ryan's idea. Thank you, Ryan Young. So these are anxiousandangry.com. We'll get you there, but we'll put the link in the description if you want. You can't buy the gold pin, but you can buy the other pin. You can only earn it. Come win this one. You got to earn it. But this one, super cool. It's going to look badass on anything you put it on, a backpack, a jean jacket. Yeah. In your ear. Well, I don't know about the ear. No, probably not. Not an earring. It's a little too big. You'd have to have it dangle. Yeah. You'd have to be a dangler. But it's pretty cool. It turned out really nice. It turned out like very nice. Yeah, they look nice and the patches are nice. And there's going to be more. We're bringing back for a limited time the original shirt with the full color logo. Like this. Yeah, with that full color logo there. Those are coming back. Get them while you can because Ryan doesn't like printing them. They're a pain in the butt to print because like six colors. So it costs more. The printing process takes way longer because they're screen printed. So I don't know how long we'll leave that up, but when they come back up, if you want them, get it quick. When they come up, you got to get them. They come up, got to get them. Okay, so that's my news and my merch news. So we've had some craziness in the, if you listen to the show, you probably know that we have a Facebook group called Punk Rock Pinball. And the group is essentially like bigger than our show because we get on the show between YouTube and the podcast platforms, we get like 900 to 1500 views, downloads per episode, which feels good. Yeah, it doesn't feel like nothing. But the Facebook group is kind of crazy. About a week ago, like when we filmed this last week, we probably had 4,000 members. And maybe even a little bit less, maybe 3,900 to 4,000. And today we have, I gotta look at it. Yeah, we thought we were going to hit 4,000. Because we're like, maybe we'll hit 4,000. And now we have 5,792. 5,700. Almost 5,800. Soon to probably be 6,000 by the time we do the next cast. And there's been a handful of posts that have done this. It's crazy how this whole Facebook algorithm thing works. It started with this fella, Logan, Logan Powers. I don't even know him. But he was at the Midwest Gaming Classic and he took a picture. We saw this machine the previous year, a Subhumans Pinball machine. And it's just a picture of the machine. You can maybe put it on the screen. Okay, I'll try to put it here. I'm going to try to save it to my phone. I can send to Steph so she can put this on the screen for you. It's just a picture of the Subhumans Pinball Machine. That post reached 81,000 people. Oh my gosh. And probably eight or 900 people joined the group because of that post. There's another fella named Mike who posted in a Cramps Pinball machine that he did the artwork for. The artwork is awesome. It's just like a homebrew. These are both kind of like homebrew. Yeah, I think the Subhumans is a re-theme of Dolly Parton. Dolly. I don't... And the Cramps one is what? A re-theme of Genie. It's got... The flippers are like backwards. They're like gimmick flippers and backwards, so like the worst. But the machine looks pretty sick. So that post reached 63,000 people. There's a person named Rad the Impaler posted themselves, looks like a woman with a big mohawk playing a dolly pinball machine. That post reached 40,000 people. I think Rad the Impaler is in a band, it looks like, from California. Cool. So check out their band. Yeah, so like those three posts generated like over a thousand new members into the group. It's bonkers. And the new people have come in They seem to be pretty cool So welcome to the new folks Everyone been nice so far I haven really had to ban anybody or anything There only one banned person Still I expect that number to grow Probably But everybody it does seem like they been pretty cool I mean there were some visitors making comments that we didn let in Yeah, I declined some comments. There were like some rude comments on a couple of the posts and they weren't by group members. It's like... Visitors. When somebody, when I have to approve a comment, it shows if they're a member or a visitor and it's always a visitor that just says some stupid thing and I just declined the comment. No one needs that. Remain a visitor and stay away.
    11:08
So yeah, I haven't had to really ban or really moderate much content from anybody new. So if you're new in the group and you're new to the show, welcome.
    11:19
Yes, welcome. We just talked about pinball, occasionally music. We need to probably do more on the music. Weirdly, the YouTube channel we're on was originally a music channel. But our music based episodes of this show don't do as well as pinball based episodes. Well, I think the audience mostly wants pinball talk. Yeah. I believe. I mean, I'm sure we'll do some other music stuff. So we need to get John from the Dopamines on here. The Chucker. He's known on Instagram as The Chucker. Good pinball player. He's come down and played some of our tournaments. We've got to have John on. John had an idea for a show, which I think would be interesting, but we'd have to figure out remote guests, to have four or five different people all give their explanation and understanding and kind of overview of the same pinball machine. Oh my God, that's really funny. Or like you'd talk through like your strategy and your understanding of the rules and whether you like it or whether you don't, what you like about it, what you don't. So it'd be like John Wick five ways. You know how like fancy restaurants would do like eggs three ways? Yeah. Do like John Wick four ways. I love that, but I think you have to do it in five minutes or less. Yeah, it has to be quick. Mm-hmm. You probably have to have some bullet points that everybody talks about this topic, this topic, this topic, this topic. Mm-hmm. And what are you doing ball one? Yeah. On this game. Okay, I love it. And do you love it or do you hate it? Why do you love it? Why do you hate it? Okay, so is it us and John and who else? Do we count as one? We would be two. Okay. I don't really have a strategy. I mean, I do, but I would take... You do on some games. On John Wick, I have like a 30-second strategy. So you would just briefly explain your understanding of the rules of John Wick and how you would go about playing it. Oh my gosh. Or are you just slapping it around and hoping for the best? And if that's true, that's what you would say. So let me ask you this, in this game that we're going to play... And it doesn't have to be John Wick, I just threw that out there because John Wick... Because it's right there. Because it's sitting right there. So in this episode, is it like you find out what the game is right now and you have to do it? Or do you have time to prep because you know going into this recording that you're going to be asked this and you can do some research? I would prefer that we pull it. Maybe we put a list of games in a spinning wheel that you use for like the prizes. Mm-hmm. The wheel of names. And then hit go on that and whichever one it lands on we do. So no prep time.
    14:20
Okay, I love this. But then here's the other thing. So if you're going to have multiple people doing this, everyone else gets to hear the first person go. Yeah, then you kind of, I was wondering about that. Maybe it's something where like you have to wear headphones or something and you can't, or you have to leave the room and you can't listen. Yeah, there used to be some kind of shows, game shows like that where they had to go in this chamber and like, I have some like sound isolating headphones and like you have to go sit in a front office room. Yeah. Like everybody goes away and it's just one person sitting there talking. Yes. But you kind of want to hear their opinions about it. Well, you can in post, as they say. Yeah, I suppose. I think for the viewer it might be the coolest if it was just one person at a time, in which case we could have just, let's say we had MXV and we had John on or whoever, Robert, they could just film themselves remotely on their phone and send it to us. We could put in an episode and not watch it. They wouldn't have to be here. Let's do that. And we wouldn't have to like live zoom or whatever with them. You know what else would be really fun is I'm sure MXV would be down to do that. Uh huh. I'm sure. I mean, John from the Dopamines came up with the idea. Yeah. So this is John's trademark idea. I'm going to open it up. If you, dear listener, want to participate, let us know in the comments or email mike at live from the rockroom.com. What we would need, maybe we should pick a game and have people send us their thing about a game. Their video? We should pick a game right now. And send us your like five minutes or less video? Yeah. Okay. Can you do the prize wheel from your phone? Yeah. Do you have your phone on you? Yeah. So let's pick a list of games. Just doing it on the fly? This episode took a turn. We didn't even mean to go here. Well, we knew it would. But now here we are. Kevin knew.
    16:20
Hang on. Let me get it up. So we're going to... this is what we're going to do. We're going to pop out. We're going to choose a game. Once we choose this game, what we're going to need from you is high quality. If it's low quality, we can't do it. If you have like, not everyone has this, but your phone mic may do if you're in a nice sounding space. But if you have like one of those little cool little live mic things, use one of those. Or if you have like a professional mic, use one of those. Or do the best you can. And we're going to need you to do the video landscape style. Mm-hmm. Okay.
    17:01
Nice, lit up nice on your face if you can from you, the listener. And as good of audio as you can do, I can try to polish it up. If you have the capability to send me a separate audio file, I would take it. All right, this is getting a little... And we will create a Google Drive folder. Okay. I'm going to create a Google Drive folder where you can upload it. Okay, and I'll put that link in the description below. Okay. There's no guarantee we're going to use your video. It has to be good quality and it's got to be within the right amount of time. It's got to look nice. Let's try this out and just see what happens. We'll see what happens. And then we can give feedback. I make no guarantees of whether we'll use any of these, but we may. We may. Okay, so games. Give me a list. Games. Jaws? Mm-hmm. Do we want to do all modern ones? No. Or do you want to do some older ones? Let's put five in this week and then let's have people give their suggestions on what they would like to do this on. Let us know in the comments below which games you would like to see on the wheeled names. But for now, let's do Jaws. We can't just do the one sitting behind us. No, but just Jaws. It's the first run that Jaws has to be in it. I mean, it's always. Jaws cast. Let's go with... you throw one. Firepower. Okay, Jaws, Firepower. Let's go Funhouse. Okay, you throw one. I'm going to say Jurassic Park, Data East. Data East, Jurassic Park. So that's four. Let's go with another modern. Let's go... With Jurassic Park Stern. Oh. Let's get Jurassic Parks right out of the way there. All right. I've been thinking about the Jurassic Park Stern. We have the Data East Jurassic Park at the HQ. We don't have the Stern one. Would love to get one. While Stephanie is doing that up. I got it. You got it? Mm-hmm. Go ahead. Okay. I was just going to throw in a random thing. So we have this Pokemon LE here. And I love it. I love the game. But we were contemplating taking Pokemon to the club and then it seems like a real expensive game to be at the club. Mm hmm. So then the thing is, if this was your Pokemon, Ellie, as the listener, let's say you could sell it for 18,000. Some have sold for more, some have sold for less. Would you just sell that, buy a premium and then buy like a used pro and then put those at your HQ? Yeah, let us know in the comments. Because I do love it and it looks so cool. But then we play a lot and then it's just like we're more players than collectors. So if like you could come out ahead on that like a few bucks to like buy like a show demo premium or even a used premium. And then like a show demo pro, if you could turn your Pokemon LE into another, a Pokemon premium and a used pro, would you do that?
    20:34
I'm almost leaning that way. I mean, but that's a different that just hit me. All right. I'm going to tap to spin. We're going to tap the thing. Tap to spin on the wheel of names. It's spinning.
    20:47
Spinning. It's going to be looking like. Funhouse. Woo! Funhouse is the winner. Okay, so take like a... how long should these be? Like a minute? Two. A minute short, yeah. How about a maximum of three minutes? Okay. Maximum of three minute video of what the criteria Funhouse Let see What are you doing ball one What are you trying to do I think. Yeah. What's your strategy? What's your strategy on Funhouse when you play it? Yeah. Try not to look anything up. I'm going to try not to read anything because we have a Funhouse. I don't know it that well. Me either. So I'm going to write out or talk about just what I do. Yeah. Are you going to talk about it on this? Do you need me to, after we're done here, do you want to? No, we'll do this. We'll talk about ours once we get the people's stuff. Okay. Unless you want to do that now. But I think we wait.
    21:50
Okay. But I'll still, I'm not going to learn more about Funhaus between now and whenever we do that. I'm just going to talk about what I would do like today. I know what I do on Funhaus. It's not really the right thing. Yeah, I'm not going to watch a video or anything. No. I mean, I watched that Bowen guy. I watched his video like three months ago. Yeah, he's real good. He's very good. So tell us in three minutes or less, what's your strategy? How do you play Funhouse? And then tell us like, do you love it or hate it? And why? That's it.
    22:24
Yeah. And if you participate, maybe there is some merch in it for you. Maybe you'll get a thing, but we're so bad at shipping stuff. Maybe Shelly will ship it. Maybe she will. She said she will. She's our shipper. Yeah. I mean, she's part of the crew. Shelly, the PRP shipper. Mm-hmm. She's awesome. She's good at that. She's great. She's great at all kinds of stuff. Yeah. Any kind of thing that needs organization and execution. Yeah. Which is most things. Well, we're lucky to have her in our pinball gang. We are. So I guess it took only 28 minutes to get into what we said we were going to talk about. Well... We kind of went on the fly. This was a real on the fly kind of episode we didn't really have. But Steph was like, why don't we talk about the YouTube channels we like to watch? So we will talk about that now, 28 minutes later. That's all right. People probably would rather hear the other stuff anyway. This is how we do it around here. Sorry, Kevin. So if this is the kind of thing, you know, if you can tolerate this kind of thing, you should like and subscribe. Comment even. Uh-huh. And we've been getting some really nice comments and it makes me like miss our Chicago friends. Mm-hmm. MXB always comments. Yeah. Mark Fay. He says he misses us. I miss him. He should come down. All right, YouTube. He should come down Saturday.
    23:51
Yeah, what's your favorite YouTube channel to watch? Well, Camping with Steve is my favorite one. Okay. It's like it puts me to sleep at night. I like his voice. It's called Steve Wallace now. Oh. But it was Camping with Steve. But if you search Camping with Steve, it'll bring it up. He's this Canadian guy who does stealth camping. And I feel like he's like the godfather of stealth camping. Yes. I mean, I'm proclaiming him to be, but he will go and camp in a roundabout in the center of a city, or a town, maybe not a city, but a town, and he'll sleep there overnight. And you just follow along. He does a pretty good production value, good audio. He just seems like a real likable guy and just really sincere. Yeah, he's just, he is Steve. He is Steve. That's what you get. And I don't want to ruin it or spoil it for anyone, but he's had quite a ride the last few years. So he doesn't put out as much content, but he's got like 10 years worth of content out there. Yeah. And I think we've watched it all. Yeah, Steve is great. His latest, sometimes he does weird little gimmick videos too, where like the latest one he just put out last week was he was trying to cool a tent. He's a fan of the tent using ice with this tube run through coolers full of ice and he put a fan on one end to blow air through the tube to see if he could use that to air condition a tent.
    25:29
Spoiler alert, it worked. It kind of worked after some modifications. Yeah, it was a prototype. So Steve is, I think he is the godfather of stealth camping. Yeah, I mean, he's just like he's yeah, he does it. There's other people that we watch that do stealth camping, but it's really just sleeping in a van. Yeah, it's not really stealth at all. But like Steve is stealth. Like we just watched one not that long ago. That was a newer one where he camped in the like median on a highway in between like a north and south or east west highway and in the woods in the middle. Yeah. Yeah, super crazy. Or he's like done it under like built contraptions. So he could be stealthy in an underpass. Yeah. He's just he's creative and crafty and resourceful. Uh huh. And I just really like him. Yes. He's my number one. He he maybe maybe is the best. Now pinball related since it's a pinball show like for a while as in we were watching a number of different pinball shows. We consumed a lot of pinball content. It's kind of whittled down now to, I watch the Electric Bat podcast every time. I really like when, and I think everybody likes when they do like the earnings numbers. Yeah, and if you don't know the Electric Bat, they're a pinball venue slash bar in Arizona that's connected to the Yucca Tap Room, which has super cool bands. Marshall says he agrees. It has super cool bands that come through, but they're a really cool couple. Kale and Rachel run the joint, and I like watching their stuff, too. Yeah, their show's great. They also live stream all their stuff on Twitch, like their tournaments. They have big tournaments. Their Twitch stream is really, really good. And they'll usually upload it to YouTube later. I watched most of their league finals the other night after you fell asleep, and then I fell asleep because it was long. So for Pinball, that's one of my favorite ones. Excuse me. I still watch Retro Ralph a good bit. I like Ralph because he's one of the more positive. He always usually has more of a positive spin than most of the others. Yeah. Yeah, he's super posi. Yeah, so I like Ralph's positivity and his passion. So if you're looking for like a pinball podcast that is not really like knocking or being like hypercritical, like he'll say things, he'll talk about things he doesn't like, but he does it in kind of a rational and respectful way. And he doesn't love everything. So it's not like he's just straight shilling everything. No, he'll say it's like not for him, but he just, yeah, he just seems like a really authentic dude. Yeah. He's not trying to be anything but what he is. So I think his show, I think that Shanley does the Pinball on Retro Ralph Live or something like that. And I think the Pinball podcast is like, is it the Flipside podcast? Might be, yeah. Retro Ralph Live. I think he calls it the Flipside Podcast. Oh, it's at Retro Ralph Live at the Flipside Retro Ralph. That's the because he has another channel that's even bigger where he it's older, mostly older stuff, arcade stuff. But he also live streams on there and Rudy, they play games and spread Rudy. Yeah, and we met Ralph at the last media day at Stern for Pokemon. He was super, super duper nice. And like really in like, probably outside of you, I feel like super into like Pinball at a different level compared to some other people that were there. Everyone was super into it. But I feel like you guys were just like, totally nerding out together. Yeah, super like, shoot this three times and do that and then it gives you that and like, eh, that kind of stuff. And that's, yeah, that's what I like to talk about with Pinball. So that was cool. He was real nice. So we like Ralph for Pinball. I do watch, they don't do it all the time, but the Triple Drain guys are fun.
    30:11
That's probably, but they, it's not even like once a month, I don't think with those guys. No, I think they've got busy schedules. They're all very busy guys, but that's probably my top three for Pinball Podcast.
    30:24
Electric Bat, Retro Rough, Triple Drain. All three, like Triple Drain, they'll be critical of things, but it's all in...
    30:34
None of it's like mean-spirited or really out of line. It's okay to call out things if they're not... You know, if a manufacturer is like put out a game that had all kinds of this problem or that or whatever, you can call out that stuff, but they do it in somewhat of a professional way.
    30:57
They're not really putting like a negative like personal spin on things. And they're still largely like positive. All three of those shows. It's the tone is positive on all three of them. I would say. Yeah, totally. Yeah. I feel like they're all like players. And yeah, just like enjoy playing pinball at different, maybe different levels or going into, maybe they're all like, they all kind of dabble in competitive pinball for sure too. Well, the Triple Drain guys, like you got Tom Graff on there and Travis Murray are both like- Hardcore. Love all competitive players and Tom does the Fox Cities streams and he streaming those tournaments but he competing in most of them Just bonkers Like Tom and Travis for sure And then Joel from the Flippin Out livestream Joel is a very good player Not on the level of Tom and Travis I don think And I don think he a real hardcore competitive player So you kind of get Joel like a but he plays I feel like he's kind of like us where he plays, we play a lot of tournaments, but we're not that great. I feel like Joel and us are around the same kind of, we're trying. We're trying. And sometimes we can do it. And then like Tom and Travis usually can do it. Yeah, they just kind of blow it up. Yeah. Yeah. So those three shows, Triple Drain, Electric Bat, Retro Rough. Yeah. Steph and I both love Steve Wallace. Yeah. If you're looking for something outside of pinball.
    32:44
And there's one more. And we've mentioned Steve Wallace before and we've mentioned this other person before. One more channel.
    32:51
Might be my new favorite. I know it is. KBD Productions TV. On YouTube. Another Canadian. Ken. Ken from Canada. Mm-hmm. KBD Productions TV. He does stealth camping, but I don't really consider Ken's stealth camping to really be all that stealthy. He's not going out in the woods like Steve Wallace. No, he's got a minivan that he sleeps in. At the parking lot, usually where he's eating. For 24 hours. Yeah, not all of his videos are 24-hour ones, but several of them are. Or it's like 24 hours at Waffle House, you know, and he goes in and eats or brings it to his van and eats. We talked about KBD a few episodes back. We watch KBD almost every day because we ran out of Steve Wallace. I know. He is like he's like our backup.
    33:46
And then KBD, like, I just enjoy he has a funny way of saying most things. Well, I mean, yeah, I don't know if that's how all Canadians say some of the things that he says. Like sandwiches?
    33:59
Yeah, it doesn't say sandwiches. Like sandwiches? Yeah. Sausages? Slurs it. Popeyes? Sandwiches? Like is that, do all Canadians say sandwiches or do you say sandwiches?
    34:11
I don't know. Let us know in the comments below. That's why I got that. KBD says that all the time. Let me know in the comments below if you like the McChicken or in Canada they have the McChicken Jr., Which is the American McChicken. Because he's got a video where he eats both the McChickens. At one time, basically. Like not, I'm gonna have one for lunch and one for dinner. He ate like three sandwiches at once. He doesn't eat them both at once. Yeah, he goes all over the place. He spent, you know, 24 hours. He actually drove from, I think he lives north of Toronto and drove to Indiana to go to a Zaxby's. Yeah, and he did like, I think 24 hours at White Castle. Yeah, he did. That was in Michigan. Hardcore. Yeah. Uh-huh. And he couldn't get his, that's when he was in the Sprinter van, and he couldn't get through the drive-thru because he was so tall, so he had to go inside and order every meal. Uh-huh. Which like, wouldn't you feel weird about that? Like, you just parked outside. It's me again? Hey, me again. I've been here for breakfast, and then a snack, and then lunch, and then a snack, and then dinner. And I've had 14,000 calories worth of food from your place today. I think it's more than that. And he loves milkshakes, so get a milkshake with like every meal. He does. Yeah. Yeah, he made us go to Sonic recently because he did 24 hours at Sonic.
    35:35
And is that where we got the, why we got the onion rings? Yeah, he had a video where he's eating onion rings from Denny's and he thought they looked delicious. I had onion rings today at lunch with my parents and they were like the most superior onion rings I've ever had in my life. Like so good, like totally worth it. My dad ordered it as an appetizer and the lady was like, do you want a smaller or large? Of course, my dad orders a large. I mean, it was enough for like eight people. Wow. I think we all ate one onion ring. It was like, whoa, they were real thick. Oh, they're delicious. If I was going to eat onion rings, I want skinny ones. No, you wouldn't have liked this. I like a thick one, but I don't like onions, so I don't really count. It was delicious.
    36:20
So those are our favorite YouTube channels. That's what we like to watch. What do you like to watch? Yeah, what's on your list? I know we've asked before, but give us your top five. What are your favorite pinball shows?
    36:33
Because the only ones, the ones we just go back to now are the three that I mentioned. There were a variety of others that we watched, but a handful were just kind of too negative and too kind of hypercritical or coming from more of like a collector perspective than a player's perspective. Or like an investment perspective. An investment perspective. Although I do watch, okay, there's a Forbes one. I watched the Loser Kid little like market report ones. I love that. Yeah. And those are quick, like five to eight minutes. And it's once a month he puts those out. And he's not interjecting like opinions about whether this is good or bad. He's just giving you the report. He's reporting the news. So yes, if you want to get the trends on like is the market up or is it down? He knows. I just like that because we kind of trade and buy and trade a lot of games. So it's good to know like sometimes they'll highlight if something's like a good deal right now. So loser kid, add loser kid to the... Yeah, also a very nice guy. Also a really nice guy, doesn't really go super negative very often. But there are a handful where it's like, really, really feels like kind of obsessive about, and there's more than one that do this, where it's like a collector perspective and what's the value going to do on this game or that game and like, I don't care. Really. Yeah, there's some other ones. They just put me in a bad mood. I don't like the vibe. When you're looking at it as from a collector and investment type of thing, it's just not us. No. This is us. And then playing it. Like, I played pinball for 12 hours yesterday. I know. Well, some of those hours were working on machines and cleaning. Mm-hmm. But I went over to the club there from like 11, it's 11 and a half hours. I got there 1130-ish and I got home at 11. I was sleeping. Mm-hmm. Watching my new favorite show. Actually, it's not my new favorite. I just like, I like the Detectorists. The Detectorists. It's a UK show about guys who do metal detecting. It's just, it's just a perfect show. There's another thing you can try to watch. It's on Tubi. Don't have to pay for it. Okay, so yeah, we've got, I guess, next episode. I don't know if it'll be the next one. No, won't be. Because it's the next one. Well, there will be one before. We've got our tournament. Then we'll do another episode. Then I'll be out of town. We've got our tournament. What day is today? The 10th. This is the 10th. So we'll have the 17th. We're going to do an episode that day. Mm-hmm. So we could talk about Funhaus that day. Oh, yeah, we could. We can do our Funhaus talk. So you have until like Friday the 15th to send us a video if you want to make a video talking about Funhaus. Why not the 16th? Because we got a big doubleheader tournament that day. I know. They can still email us. If you want to like try to review videos all day on the 17th while you're tired. I don't think we're going to get that many responses. You don't know. I'm putting a cutoff midnight on Friday the 15th. Okay. That's your cutoff if you want to put the thing. We may or may not even do that episode, but we may. Okay. If we do, we might use your video. Okay. We might not have any responses. No response from Dole. To be determined. But yeah, if we get a good response or two, maybe I'll see if John wants to send me a thing. All right. Maybe Mike does. Okay. Mike, do you? If we get a couple of cool responses, then we'll probably do it. All right. Well, I think Funhaus is a great one to start. And Mike did kick her ass on Funhaus. So Mike's good at Funhaus. He's good at everything. Yeah. He's owned a Funhaus for a long time. I think he just sold it. I think he did. But he had one. He's been in his home for a long time. Well, I'm really excited to hear what people say about Funhaus. Mine is not going to be two minutes long. It's probably going to be 30 seconds. I kind of have one pattern that I try to do again and again. Okay, well, let's not talk about it. Yeah, it's going to be like a minute or two. And then we're all going to learn how to be better at Funhaus together. Or maybe we'll not learn anything. Although if MXV will participate, we will learn. He will learn. Yeah, for sure. He's like... Because he knows how to play it. He's an encyclopedia of pinball knowledge. Yeah. I think that's all we have for this week. Yeah, that was a lot. This one was kind of all over the place. Sometimes we're more focused than this, but... Sometimes we're not. Sometimes it's more fun when you just go this way. Just go with the flow, bro. We just went with the flow and that's what it was. By the way, you've got hair. I do have hair. I'm not bald. This is not the first episode I've not had a hat. I had a hat. Well, I know, but a bunch of people at the club thought Mike was bald. The Champagne League people thought I was bald. Oh. Yeah. Okay. Because I mostly would wear a hat when we'd play in that league. And then, yeah, I don't know, maybe I picked up my hat and like did something to my hair and then one guy was like, you're not bald? I'm like, no. So funny. Yeah. And we're trying out this new lens, so let us know how it, if you made it this far. Yeah, hopefully it's in focus. Let us know how it went. Okay. That's it. That's all we got. Marshall's sleeping. Okay. Toodaloo. Bye.
