I got a new capture device for the playfield cam, so I'm testing it now, but I'm also testing it at 1080p, so my machine may explode, so this stream might go down really quickly. My CPU is at 50% right now. And I don't know if it's safe to do this. But I'm going to try it because I stress test things all the time. And this is a stress test. In fact, I'm going to... put a fan... On my computer This is going to be a stress test Now if the computer stays stays cool, it won't explode. But if it explodes then I'll go back to Regular 1280 until I get a new computer, but let's check 62 percent 77 percent 78% 77% so it's sitting around 70% which is got 80 which is way too much for OBS to be doing If I turn off the display I Wonder if that will work give me some more CPU back. Anyway, while I do this, I figured I'd do something fun and play for a little bit, play three of my favorite virtual pin tables that are older tables. So as you can see right now i have alien star set up this plays with the exception of the inability to tap pass the non-ability to tap pass this plays just like the one at free to watch well close enough close enough to not own own one um i cannot tap pass on this although i can tap pass tap passing on this one is is crucial to be able to you know go from flipper to flipper so you can hit these alien targets and so you can hit that multiplier when you got multiball ready. These alien targets light this multiplier. This spinner randomly changes that multiplier. So being able to move back and forth from one to the other is pretty crucial. I want to make sure that I'm running everything good. So of course my stream deck isn't working. Let's make sure everything is running. Yep, everything's running. Well, my computer hasn't exploded yet, so let's try some Alien Star. So this will be one of three games that I play. By the way, I am not using an Elgato capture card. I have gotten rid of these little guys. These little things. I am no longer using them. I'm using a $59 cheapo USB to HDMI capture card. It does one resolution. It does 60 frames per second. That's it. It does nothing more. There aren't even any controls that you can bring up to change saturation or anything. So this game is quite challenging. Number one, these alien targets light this multiball. This spinner randomly changes that. It just spins through each two, three, and five. The object is to get a multiball going with 5x. And then if the ball comes down this lane, it lights this spinner for 10,000 per spin. If it comes down this lane, it lights this target for bonus multiplier, but only does it for a very limited time. So each one is timed to a very small window where you can do these things. Let's see if I can... So hit that. Ah, I missed it. Try again. Missed it again. Maybe I can still get it. Nope. So that's the trick. Once it hits this thing, you have to hit that spinner. You have like maybe three seconds. So while I'm here, I'm going to try and hit my... Here we go. There we go. Look at those spins go. Get a few more. Get a few more. Nope. That would have been a bonus multiplier had I hit the left lane. I cannot tap pass. I would easily tap pass to this flipper to hit more alien targets. This just doesn't have the flippers configured. You can tap pass on virtual. The flippers kind of have to have the right strength, though. Yeah, that's not happening. a good score in this let's see can you guys see the score yeah so a good score in this is 600 000 i would say yeah one replay score for each 600 000 points So a good score is 600,000. A great score is over a million. I'm already on ball three. And I haven't made any progress towards my multiball or anything. I don't want to tilt. I want to find where that spinner is right now. Well, I can't turn down the saturation because there's no saturation control in the camera. One bad HDMI cable that I threw in the garbage. I travel back and forth with all my stuff so much that cables tend to get bent and bent. And this one just bent to the point where it was broken.
