probably going to die pretty quick. That's good. We only have so much time before we to get to Fork River. And you're dead. Oh, Jay's playing the eightball chimes. That's a perfect intro to my video, I think, right there. I'm Mike Dus, and this is Pinball Shenanigans. Hi, doggies. Oh All right, got Jay the neighbor. What's up? and myself popping over to the Grazley garage before some Fork River pinball action tonight. Starts in like half an hour. Nice one. So, we thought we'd pop in here, return some tools that I borrowed from Kevin and uh see what the boys are up to. Something going on here. Knock knock. There he is. You tell me what is going on. Sent me a couple photos here and there and uh there's some stuff happening. I come to see what it's all about. This is the project Super Mario Brothers you were talking about. Vehicle has uh been moved. We've got a Barraa. So, this is Sean Benish's Barraa and he dropped it off, I'm presuming. Uh, yep. He wants to give it some new displays, a new play field. New playfields in order. Yeah, it's a little little rugged. That's a good candidate for that. New play field. Oo, look at this. Wow. Difference night and day. Oh, yeah. Wow. That'll be sexy. That's way better. Yeah. Do you know where this playfield came from? Oh, it looks like a CPR. Nice. A nice looking playfield. Mhm. Yeah. Smooth. That's going to be quite the before and after. That one, not so much. So, colors. No colors. Yeah, back glass is in the arcade. Oh, you got a new back glass for it, too, right? Okay. So, it's going to get a overhaul. It's not going to get a full cabinet job this time around, but yeah, just uh maybe in the future. In the future, but thinking a few playfield swaps. Yeah, it looks pretty good. Oh, yeah. Not bad. So, yeah, you're you're uh becoming the playfield swap guy now, too. Sean and I were talking. He's like, I'm sorry. What happened here? Someone got aggressive and slammed the door a little hard or something. That's a Is this that MDF crap? Is that Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But nevertheless, like what did that hit? You know what? What? Why is the back glass need to be replaced? Is it just the paint bad or did someone like punch through it and that's what happened here? No, it was okay. It's just got a couple little uh like flaking spots underneath the display. Okay. I see uh and stuff. So Oh, yeah. Cool. Let's take a peek at that. I see your uh highspeed is now the new workbench. Uh yeah, that's cool. That's gonna look real good. These are for you. Here's the uh highspeed workbench. Oh, cool. The old Gamatron decals. Nice garbetron. Yeah, I'll find a home for that. That's great. Stick those by the door. But yeah, let me just throw this out here so I don't forget. So that's cool. What's the deal with the uh Super Mario Brothers? It's just It's Does it need everything or? Yeah, it's kind of basically an empty cabinet with some wiring. Get a little Okay. What? Or just taken apart? Uh just taken apart. Just like the original um cabinet. No, it was uh I think it was a Donkey Kong. Oh, yeah. Cabinet. Okay. And then somebody put uh this is uh Mario Brothers bezel. Uh Super Mario Brothers marquee. Oh, I see. It's a versus cabinet. So, I think the goal is I'm going to turn this into What game is it right now? Nothing. Oh, nothing. It's just basically empty cabinets. No even monitor in there. Oh, yeah. That was Yeah. I want to turn it into a Dr. Mario. Oh, cool. Ooh, grab those pills. So, all right. We wanted to build a Dr. Mario for a long time. So, this kind of came up and I was like, "Yeah, it's perfect." Well, this came with another uh machine as well. You got a two pack, right? It did. And the other the other one was the one pack and then I said, "Hey." Oh, do you happen to have anything else, Nintendo? He's like, "Well, I've got uh this empty cabin." I was like, "I'll take them both." So, you turned it into a two pack. It was initially a one pack. So, this was a marketplace deal that just popped up and you jumped on it. Yep. Your first act. I was the first one to act. What you got to do? So, did you get a reasonable price on it? Cuz I have no idea what the values of these things are. I think I did. Yeah. Okay. Wa! Holy crap, dude. Yeah, it's a little pack. Yeah. Wa. Dutch coming from No freaking kidding. But uh I don't know. The South Park is done already. Blades. Oh my god. You had Okay. The day that I filmed this, it would had been dropped off and I swear that night possibly you sent me photos of it completely stripped and sanded or maybe the next day it was taken apart that night that you and it sanded the next day. The old ball is looking pretty good. Jesus. And then within a few days, it seems like this is a week turnaround. Wow. The whole cabinet is done. And powder coating. I dropped the powder with powder coating. after powder coating off the Thursday and Sam's like, "Oh, I don't know if I'll have it done this week." And I'm like, "That's no problem." And then Friday, he's like, "I got it done for you." Really? Wow. So, it was turned around in like one day. Jay's playing the eightball chimes. That's a perfect intro to my video, I think, right there. Wow. Okay, that is crazy, dude. That is a one fast turnaround. New T- molding, new decals, looking funky. All the powder coatings. Yeah. Leg bolts, leg levelers are new, hinges, polished bolts, the full the full Grazley treatment. And uh yeah, within like a week. And then going down the line here, here's the Gamatron. Still waiting for polishing. But that's But I haven't seen this live yet, have I? I've only seen photos of this. I like the white. Or wait, no, I did see it live. Yeah, you shot a video about it. That's right. You know that's what happens when you turn 50. Oh, it it was like But it was in pieces. It wasn't It wasn't assembled. That's what it was. Yes. It was just the cabinet was in the garage. The head was, you know, over there. It wasn't all assembled. And it didn't have legs. Where's this go? Or the leg protectors. Uh like Oh, that's the topper. Oh, okay. Yep. Oh, yeah. And it wasn't populated yet with all the guts. Nice. On here. I just took it off cuz I couldn't fit through the door with it on. Oh, the topper. And it has uh like cartman up there, too. Supposed to thing supposed to. It has the hole for them, but Oh, missing. Yeah, it didn't come. Well, this turned out amazing. I've had a couple people ask me what technique you used cuz they loved your spackle job. And uh if I recall correctly, you just toothbrush. You just took like some spray paint, sprayed it into uh the lid. The lid put your toothbrush in there and just just like that technique. That's it, eh? Wear gloves. Wear gloves. Oh yeah. Okay. There's some good advice right there. Put Put down. Kevin would have went in the house, completely speckled himself, and his wife would have been like, "What the hell did you do?" Actually, it didn't do too bad. There was a few little strays on the floor, but Oh, yeah. Well, we're just waiting on um the medals and this thing will be ready to come home. But yeah, have a look at that. Uh eightball. Same scenario. Waiting on medals. It's good. It's just waiting. Whirlwind. Total chaos in the queue and Flintstones in the queue. And this bike is basically done. I don't know if I've shown the finished product on this or not. Still needs a seat and it needs the saddle bags. Seat and saddle bags. And this will be done. Here is the other. This is the thing you went to buy. Yeah. An original Donkey Kong Jr. Oh, that's really fun. Or is it like a I thought it was just Donkey Kong for some reason. Uh, can we turn this on? Yep. I think I don't have it plugged in here, but yep. So, it looks like someone restored this at some point cuz it looks too nice to be like original. It is original, but it's been touched up a little bit. You can tell if you really really look at it. Oh, yeah. You can see the difference in the orange there. Just barely. Maybe a little bit of rust. Just uh have a peek at the arcade in its entirety. 1982. It was uh so fanguy for the pinball tournament now. I needed to paint it so I had the but it actually is pretty awesome even when it's stuffed to the to the max. All right, here it is. OG Donkey Kong Jr. Jay the neighbor is going to give it a gander here. Give her a try. Get key from Mario. Save your papa. Probably going to die pretty quick. That's good. Dude, we only have so much time before we get to fork river. And you're dead. Oh, you can't pay attention. I was looking at Mario. All right, that's why you get three lives. Hey, jump. Okay, now go. Don't try and eat those things. They are not good for you. Oh, no. Okay. Okay. One more life. Everything uh looks to be in great shape. The monitor's good. Colors. All right, let's let's put over under on how far Jay's going to get. That's what kills those dudes. Don't drop too far over. No, that's it. That was not far of a job. Game over. All right, Kevin, you want to show them here? Let me Let me play Let me play one one dude. I played poorly. I played this on my Atari 7800. Don't mess. I'll play one life and Kevin, you play one life. We'll see who gets the furthest. I'm used to like my Atari 2600 joystick though. No, wait a minute. Okay, that is the worst timing ever. Okay, you made it further than that. I got I panicked, man. I panicked. But I beat Jay. It's all that matters. just wants the points. Can you jump from up there? I didn't think so. Oh, you can. Oh, yeah. He's been playing this for hours in the garage. You just got this. Play till 3:00 a.m. in the morning. Oh, he even knows that little trick there. Just reach out the the reach around, grab for the uh fruits. Oh, yeah. Come on. Oh man, I thought you were going to pull it off here. You going? All right. Okay. Yeah, I'll do one more. The last man. Last man. Okay. Now that I got the tutorial from you. Get on both vines. You go faster. That's right. And then you can eat that. Hey, get away. Oh, fudge. I thought I had a little space there. Game over. All right. Anyway, we got to get to Fork Fort. Are you going to come and play some pinball? Uh, probably not. I'm going to Oh, just come and hang out. Yes. Less competition. Still coming back. Still coming. All right. Sweet. We'll see you at Fork River just in case. This needs to be sent to fail army. Oh, that was close. All right, give it one more. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Come on. Ah. Do an ollie. Okay. No. Let's not do that. Do a walk. Oh, that's not bad. Oh, man. Okay, you're going to break yourself. You're cut off. All right, Fork River action. We're down to the finals, boys and girls. We had a light turnout today. We had 13 players. A lot of the usual shenanigans, though. And uh so that meant the top six made it to the playoffs. And I'll show you who that is. What am I doing? What are you doing? Don't put that in. So, let's go see uh after five rounds what the stats were. Here we go. [Applause] Check that out. Jay the neighbor. He made it in. Then JC Mark and City, Eric Hunter, Cory Cook, and number one, Mike Diamond. So, we're just doing uh an amazing race playoffs tonight. So, that's always fun. And uh filming. Well, you know, every once in a while fever shirt. Yeah. Check out this shirt. Cabin fever. Let's see the front. There you go. I think I got it. Very cool. Very cool. Jay is on the hot seat currently. What score did you get? 8. 80,000. 800,000. 800. Oh, actually, that's really good. Okay, that's not bad. Mark looks like he's safe then. All right, so Mark's Mark's in the clear. Mr. Eric Hunter 846. Maybe Mike Diamonds will choke. Mike Diamonds could very well choke. I mean, honestly, I thought you might have not have put up a very good score cuz you were first to set the score, but actually just under a million is uh no guarantee. So, uh the problem with placing first in the uh round robin is that I go last in the amazing race. So, all the pressure is going to be on. All right, Mark is through to the next game. All right, so uh we'll see what the results are. The results are in. What? These are the prizes. Crispy cream donuts. Yeah, I know. I don't need an umbrella. An umbrella. Umbrella. I'll take these. A set of uh What is in there? Leg uh um rubber feet. Rubber feet. Oh, barbecue utensils. Very nice. Excellent. So, Mark is your victor. Magnets. He got 30 million on Dracula, which I just needed to beat, but I did not. I got 20 million. Yeah, the score is in. All right, what do I get to choose from? Crispy green donuts. Oh, yep. Sold. Jamie's going to love me. Oh yeah, I am the true winner tonight. Boom.
