And of course, thank you all for listening. it was it's a great honor whenever somebody says oh i listen to you and it is from my ears on my butt so we got some email had an exciting uh email that we were kind of teasing last week and we saved this is going to be kind of a mini episode i guess in that we are uh we got the invite for stern to attend their media day yes for the almighty kong yes which now there's the trailers just came out today like we we were waiting till the last day because we're leaving tomorrow you know and then we're gonna we're gonna head down to uh elk grove village elk village elk grove village all three words all three words i just say where stern lives and everyone goes oh yeah that's elk pasture grove villa township something and i go thanks and so we're gonna Are we staying? Elk Grove Village. Yes. Sure. Why not? So we're going down. We were really honored to get the invitation and to be actually considered part of Pinball Media. So we will be checking that out. It sounds like it's a full day. You get there at 10. And the itineraries, they do the tour. They meet with the people that made this machine. Now, we did see the... You watched the trailer that released today. Mm-hmm. um looks it looks packed it does there's a spider on it so it's a huge no for me there won't be a king kong in our basement maybe we'll take we can take the spider out we can put something else in place i'll get that place to send us another wet uh oh yeah there we go we'll just have this sticky wet gut guillard that we'll just put there instead of spider and he can just be wet for all eternity with his other friend no i mean a spider's not gonna it's okay stop me but I don't like spiders.

    The more I watched that trailer, the more I was like, wow, this has a lot of stuff in it. The first two times I watched it today, I was at work, so I didn't have the sound on. And then I watched it when I got home, and I was like, does that really gong? Yes, it does. Oh, and I hope it plays Bang-a-Gong every 15th time or something like that. That would be awesome, too. anyway so you know we i i just can't tell you we were very humbled and very uh ecstatic ecstatic you know craft brew has just started a new job so we had to quickly finagle time time off because you're like oh wait this is like when when is this soonish like two weeks not it wasn't even two weeks but of course it can't like they can't they can't like send something out a month in advance because then it's just going to be non-stop nonsense. They know. They know all about it. So we're excited. We're going to go there and check it out and then we will probably do another show next Wednesday all about the experience. You know, we're staying overnight. Then we're going to get there in the morning.

Dune, they had their trailer like 25 minutes after Kong. And I'm like, eh, okay. So Dune is out there. And then in the corner, just doing their thing is, of course, spooky knocking down evil deads for all the spooky heads I don't I'm not going to say who wins we don't do that wins loses anything like that you love Harry Potter I do I wasn't a Kong super fan but I dig it and if it interacts with Godzilla because those two have fought each other now nigh on three times in the film films if those two if the code knows they're and interacts with each other that would be different level that would be awesome i'm not saying it does i don't know if it does but if it does oh my god that's the greatest um i don't i don't know like like now the barrels of fun did labyrinth and i didn't really and i'm not saying i don't like those themes i just don't they don't do anything for me yeah labyrinth was a fun game especially being their first out of the out of the gate that's crazy how good that game was and how it shot really good and then now it's like dune i don't i don't care about dune i know it's a big deal like and i i tried watching the first one did we get it from the library yes yeah i was like well i'm gonna watch this because of the rumors and then we got like it was like eight hours in i'm like i don't know man i don't really i was long done by that you were asleep for like three hours and i i was like five more hours i was like i don't know if i care about these people that much and I looked and I was like oh my god there's still 17 hours left I'm not watching this I just turned it off uh it's it's a good IP I know a lot of people really do like it um I don't know if it's that popular though but I said that about Avatar and isn't that like one of the biggest grossing franchises in history or something I'm really surprised by that what Avatar yeah because I we I watched that movie once and I was like okay I've seen it yeah but now they made the second one yeah and i don't know how that did i don't know how but even even disney put avatar land in at animal kingdom years after yeah the first movie so there must be an undercurrent of really big fans probably i mean like like just because i don't know about something doesn't make it make it right or wrong or anything like does i'm not levying any judgment one way or the other i don't know a lot of stuff so you know so maybe that is like a huge bunch of like people really love it and they get it you know and i'm assuming i'm assuming dune has a following two movies now there's a third one and i did see the dune the dune does eat the ball so 98 of the pinball world will be very excited about that uh i don't know it looked it looked good i i don't know we'll see how it plays you know i didn't actually watch the trailer for that one i guess i should have that's okay sorry we're we're on the kong train for a little while that's all I mean, I actually went back and did a little bit of homework. I watched some videos about the history of King Kong. And I actually went back and looked through that book of Stern just to kind of re-familiarize with some of the stuff you might forget about.
