It's actually a really cool app. So anyway, I am now number 14 on Pindigo, right below Kevin from Buffalo Pinball and one above by like half a million points, Snow from Colorado Pinball. So I'm nested right there in between those guys, and I gotta say I'm pretty happy with how that turned out. I also said what I need to do is focus on setting up music, and I stopped immediately. So let me, just a second here, just, uh, Un Memento. No, no, we have too many playlists. I can't go Pandora. I think we're going to do 80, no, I think we've got to do our 90s music mix. Fliptronic, right away, this is a handy cam. Oh, hold on, wait. We've got this little guy. Wait, right. Nope, nope. up there. We've got that camera up there, so just watch that for a second. We're going to go there. So close. There we go. So that is a Handycam CX-405, and the settings I have on it right now... Oh, you know what? I think I can actually show them to you. Let's push this back down there. And here, yeah, there we go. You can see it. Camera, mic, we've got white balance set to auto, exposure set to manual. So I've got it tinted, I think, a little bit. And the other components you want to make sure are set is your shutter speed should be set to manual, and you want it at double the frame, at least double the frame rate that you're outputting at. And that is from some of the videos from MPT3K.

Okay, so now, there we go, there's that. So those are the settings we have on the CX405, which is great, and then actually in the settings of the camera, in OBS you can go to configure settings on the CX405, and you can adjust the saturation. I buffed the saturation up about 20, maybe 25 points to help bring out a lot of the colors. And then the next thing is the lights. I'm ridiculous about lighting, and if you've ever been on the Discord, you'll see pictures. I have four different lights on the playfield. In fact, I'll show you. We got some, uh, Penn Stadium Extremes right there on both sides. You got this guy over here, too, right? And that's all just magnetized on. And then I've got, oh, there's a light there on the play field at the top. And I don't think I'm going to be able to show you this one, but trust me, I have one more light there. And then I'm just going to keep using this camera. I have another giant light over here on me and like background. And then I have another one of those on the other side. and then yeah right so we got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 just on me in the play field and then behind me there's the Philips Hue lights that you guys have control of so you can do something like exclamation point color red and you'll see the lights behind me and the background color of my screen change to match the color of the lights that you guys select sick I need to get better at Lighting Cliptronic. As far as bringing out colors and getting rid of glare and also making your stream seem kind of buttery smooth, it's all about the lighting. Caviar!

That's the software I wrote to do all of the color coordination stuff. And it's called Roboctopus because I bought that domain eight years ago, and it went offline there for a little bit, but I did bring it back up about maybe three or four weeks ago, and for other streamers who are interested in, I'm going to say, alpha testing a really non-intuitive interface, I've given it to Pinsomniac, MPT3K, and Fae right now, and they're all kind of playing around with it and using it, but while it was offline, I think Eurydice came up with we are gathered here today to commemorate the life and untimely death of our beloved Roboctopus, taken from the server far too soon. Though you are gone, your functionality will never be forgotten. F in chat. And it was great because caviar, dice, insomniac, MPT-3, like everybody who is here would constantly remind me that I needed to get Roboctopus back up and running so people could change the lights again.

And one of the things that I remembered was he said, always set your shutter speed to at least 2x whatever the FPS is that you're outputting at. So if I'm outputting at 1080 with 60 frames per second, I want to be at least at 120 shutter speed. I don't know what the engineering unit is on shutter speed. The pterodactyl is kind of easy compared to, uh, the Velociraptor, because the Velociraptor, if you remember, Velociraptor's travel impacts. So, you have to actually recapture two different Velociraptors. The benefit, of course, being that all of your future Velociraptor jackpots are doubled, which is huge, because if you can get into Velociraptor multiball, and then get into the sixth multiball, and initiate a 2x playfield scoring, that means that your jackpots are worth 2 times 2 times that by up to 6, so that's going to be a 24x, I think, on jackpots, if I've done the math correctly. And granted, we're on our second beer, so the math may not be correct. You know, what's funny is I just said that, and how I didn't want to do that, and then I immediately started the mode going off to the right. That is the very definition of what alcohol and or marijuana does, which is short-term memory loss, I think. The pterodactyl goes straight to each rescue, though, so you have a really limited time to save people. I did not know that, Caviel. I feel like I just do really well in that mode.
