All right. Today I'm going to do a little tour of Freddy, a nightmare on Elm Street by Gotautle. This is a Gotautle system 3. It was made in 1994 and they made 2800 of them and they actually have the voice of saw it on the display there. Robert England, the voice of Freddy himself, is featured in this game, which is pretty cool. So, what I'd like to do first is just uh do a walk around, show you all of the cool fun features and stuff that's packed into this playfield. Gotle system 3 in this era were not afraid to throw the kitchen sink at the machines. And uh partly for that reason, they are ridiculously heavy. We're going to have to deal with the attract sounds as I go for a tour. But let's walk around here. And um first thing you'll see is that there is a glove flipper. And I'll pan around up to that shortly. But we've got a little plastic ramp here. Here's our glove flipper. You shoot the ball into the view. Okay. pops up >> your fingers next time

gameplay_signal: Scoring architecture supports very high totals (host achieves 2 billion during extended gameplay) with progressive jackpots (10M-50M+ per shot) and wizard mode multipliers (100M per jackpot in Dream Warriors)

high · Host demonstrates jackpot escalation: '10 million, 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, 50 million. And then you can just keep hitting the captive ball for 50 millions nonstop'; final score of 2 billion shown

  • ?

gameplay_signal: Tournament strategy identified: play Nightmare One, max power meter, defeat Freddy, then repeatedly hit captive ball at 50M value for optimal point accumulation

medium · Host articulates: 'So, that's a good tournament strategy there. Play Nightmare One, beat Freddy, and just hit this shot over and over again once you've collected all the other jackpots.'

  • ?

collector_signal: Host is in temporary possession of machine (being delivered to friend in hours), typical of collector/enthusiast sharing and content creation patterns

high · Host states: 'I can uh now hang on to this machine for a little bit, but can't keep everything forever. So, uh literally delivering this to my buddy in a few hours.'

  • ?

gameplay_signal: Game supports both casual and advanced play: immediate nightmare triggering via timeout for casual players, but also reachable wizard mode (Dream Warriors) and high-value strategies for engaged players

medium · Host notes passive nightmare start: 'if your meter just does time out and you um you literally just sit there holding the ball, you will fall asleep. And when you do that, you'll just start one of the nightmares.'

  • when uh the glove is activated. Then you can use the left flipper button to actually shoot the glove. And I think the idea is maybe to try and shoot it into the TV target possibly. Uh then we have three drop targets here. They will help uh give you more power for your nightmares. Couple pop bumpers. We got uh target here for extra balls and jackpots. We got more targets here for um spelling claw and saving souls. We've got Freddy himself. He talks and um spits and or belches balls out of his mouth. The ball will land in behind him and fire out. Uh there's also this uh loop shot here that can divert to the back of his head or this um wire form here which feeds the right flipper. And there is a diverter back here somewhere. Uh just trust me there is one. Oh wait, there it is for that. Okay. Then we have a uh awake sleep meter. You want to try not to fall asleep cuz uh then if you do, you will have a nightmare and nightmares are bad. Uh when you're fighting Freddy, keep an eye on this uh power meter here. When you're at maximum power, then it's time to shoot the ball in the boiler room to defeat one of the nightmares. There are six nightmares and then the final nightmare. And uh you can try >> your fingers next time.

    2:58
Can try and drink coffee to stay awake. But if you actually if your meter just does time out and you um you literally just sit there holding the ball, you will fall asleep. And when you do that, you'll just start one of the nightmares. So, you don't even necessarily have to hit the boiler room. But uh I believe the boiler room starts nightmares and also uh mystery awards which are collected here. There's also another wizard mode, dream warriors. Uh, when you collect the three jackpots, then Dream Warriors is available. And, uh, I've only had this game a very short period of time. I've not got there yet, but it's worth big points, like 100 million per jackpot. Uh, you have one of these targets here. I think I can't remember if that's a kicking target or not. We got a captive ball here. That's a really fun shot. And that will uh give you jackpots, combos, activate your glove flipper. Oh, and you can get some coffee that way as well. Then you got a little um house here. Cabin, a third flipper. We've got another diverter here. When you start multiball, the diverter opens and it fires balls uh via the uh auto launcher into the playfield. There's a TV target here, and it has two targets, outside of it, and then the inside of it. And uh I imagine they do different things, but I could be wrong. That is pretty much the tour of the playfield. Like I said, it's packed. The art is awesome. The theme is great. There's the second button here. I forgot to mention that is for the claw save, which are like four little fingers that come out of the playfield right here. It's really quick and it's hard to notice it when it happens, but it is there. And um it's the claw save. So, another cool feature. Anyway, I think that pretty much covers everything. Like I said, I've only got a few games on this. Just trying to figure it out on the fly, but I've got a half decent idea of what to do. So, we're going to try and um get to the final nightmare and maybe even a dream warriors. So, I'll set up the um the rig here, the tripod, and we'll play a game. All right. So, couple other things I want to keep an eye on. My awaken sleep meter. If you see a mode just start spontaneously, that meant that I let the meter go all the way down and I fell asleep and the mode just started, aka nightmare. And you'll know if you're awake or asleep via these inserts as well. Oh, I forgot to mention hitting the drop targets will give you more power. I guess I did say that, but I didn't really say what the power was. But you can see that will add power to the next nightmare that you join. So, you can either get more power, an alarm clock, or even turn a nightmare into a multiball potentially. I don't know that for sure. That might not be true because I do know that every odd nightmare is a multiball mode. So, let's get started. skill shot is just hitting the ball into the boiler room. You got to time the shot right. If you do, then um you'll start your first nightmare. You can add a ball with that switch right there on the left that says multiball. I'll show you. >> Diverter opens. Ball shoots into the
    6:29
Diverter opens. Ball shoots into the
    6:30
Diverter opens. Ball shoots into the playfield. So now you want to keep an eye on the uh that meter at the back there. So you can see it's full now because uh the first nightmare is fairly easy. So if I um get it into the boiler room then Oh, that was almost free.
    7:02
Let's see. Do I have any uh grace period here? Look at that.
    7:11
So, if I was still in multiball, I would
    7:11
So, if I was still in multiball, I would have had an opportunity to collect some Freddy jackpots around the playfield. And there's one up there. And that I think starts at 10 million, 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, 50 million. And then you can just keep hitting the captive ball for 50 millions nonstop. So, you can see my meter back here. If I literally just sit here, I will eventually fall asleep, but that's no fun. So, uh let's uh hit the captive ball or do stuff and things.
    7:54
All right, let's uh go for mystery here again. Mystery is the left view of the UK right about there. No, I missed it. Oh, look at that. I got the red light in my asleep meter at the back. Therefore, my nightmare started. And that red light is right there. That says I am asleep. So, now I need to build up the power meter even more. We need more shots for this nightmare.
    8:37
    The nightmare is over.
    8:38
The nightmare is over. There also is a kickback here when lit. Uh there's so much to this game. I forgot to mention there's a combo sequence, too. So, left in lane to the captive ball to the orbit shot. That is a um what's that called? the combo jackpot. There's a Freddy jackpot as well, combo jackpot, and then multiball jackpot. Those are the three jackpots you need to light dream warriors. So, let's try and uh start nightmare number three here. Get the timing right. Don't plunge too hard or else it will breakick out of there.
    9:29
Not very uh not being not playing very well. My nightmares, but
    9:38
oh, I tried to use my claw there, but I failed. All right, so what I need to do now actually is uh try and hit the drop targets because one of the things it can give you that's like another sort of acts as like a mystery award as well. It can give me an extra ball and I kind of need that right about now. >> Oh, see there's the reject I was talking
    9:57
Oh, see there's the reject I was talking
    9:57
Oh, see there's the reject I was talking about. Krugarans. That is currency in this game. Just like collecting quirks in Stargate and game balls in Shack Attack, you can use that currency to trade for fun bonuses and features and multiballs and extra balls and points and whatnot. So, there's a moving jackpot on this nightmare here. I started with more power on this nightmare as well,
    10:48
but I have to hit all the as many Freddy
    10:48
but I have to hit all the as many Freddy shots as I can. Yes. So, that upper right target is a kicking target.
    11:02
All right, I'm going to try and show you the claw save right now. So, I'm going to drain on purpose, but I'm going to hit the second button here to fire the claw. Let's see if I can time this right. So, you can actually get some good power from that claw flipper, but you got to make sure it says claw here. And um again, you can light spell claw by hitting the uh soul targets here.
    11:32
I haven't shown the uh glove flipper yet, so let's try and do that. had a hard time uh hitting that BUK for some reason. That's right. Don't worry about that. We get uh two warnings before we tilt.
    11:52
    The nightmare might start shortly.
    11:52
The nightmare might start shortly. I am almost asleep. Let's hit some coffee.
    12:09
Let's see if can hit that the UK for the life of me. Okay, here we go. Yay. Now, watch the glove flipper. I'm going to flip it.
    12:32
Pretty cool, eh? Often times those fingers are uh destroyed. Fortunately, these ones are all intact. Okay, nightmare just started.
    12:51
Nightmare just ended. Ah, nightmare restarted with the out of ball button. And nightmare just ended. And nightmare just restarted. Okay, let's actually uh do good on this. Even though I have the sheep, I want to show you those uh jackpot shots.
    13:11
So, I got to beat Freddy first. My meter's all the way at the top. So, there's the boy in the room truck.
    13:22
Now, I got to hit the jackpot shots throughout the playfield. There was one, so it's going to be a little harder. There's one.
    13:34
I thought there was one. Let's try that again. I'll show you the cheating wave. Okay, there's 30 million. Now the middle here. Oh, it's moving on me. No, it's this target right here. 40 million.
    13:58
Now, every time I hit the captive ball, check this out. >> 50 million.
    14:02
    50 million.
    14:02
50 million. >> That applies for every multiball,
    14:07
    That applies for every multiball,
    14:07
That applies for every multiball, like 1, three, and five. Anyway, so that's a good tournament strategy there. Play Nightmare One, beat Freddy, and just hit this shot over and over again once you've collected all the other jackpots. So, let's try a combo jackpot. Now, since I'm on the last ball, I want to demonstrate all the things and I don't want to trust myself to not drain. So, let's begin a combo. Hit the captive ball and go around there. And there is our combo jackpot. So, all we need now is the Freddy jackpot. Here's the problem. I don't know what the Freddy jackpot is, but I'll show you the TV award. TV activated and then you hit it again. 10 million points and it might give you something else as well. Let's hit a drop target and see what it gives me. 10 million points. Oh, okay. So, I've collected enough Krueger Rand that I can uh now cash them in. And you need to do that by hitting the right in lane. It says here, light trade cougar rans when lit. Now you need the left orbit. Oh, hold on. I fell asleep.
    15:35
Oh no. Three warriors was qualified. My
    15:35
Oh no. Three warriors was qualified. My final nightmare was qualified. Oh man, that was such an epic fail.
    15:47
All right. Well, maybe it's good that I don't have the spoilers in this video. I don't know if I should uh set up the game state so that we can show the spoilers. Maybe I will do that cuz I want to see what that's all about. So, that score is completely invalid, but I'm taking credit for it anyways. And I'm going to set up the game. So, if you don't want spoilers, stop watching. But I'm going to set up the game for Final Nightmare and Dream Warriors, and then we can check that out next.
    16:22
I totally forgot to show Krugerands as well. So, I just collected a a crapload of Krugergs, 40. And then I fell asleep again. Damn it. Hold on a moment. Okay, here we go. Let's light trade Kruegerands in. Let's go down the in lane again and hit the shot this time. And let's see what fun options. It's fun to shop with Freddy. I can buy an extra ball or not. Let's pass on the extra ball and see if he can offer me something else. Ah, okay. We're going to say no on the extra ball. We're going to collect some more crvers. I don't think this left orbit is the only way to collect crarans, but uh once I uh wake up, I'll be right back. Okay, let's see now that I collected more crewans if I can. Oh, I missed the shot. Okay, here we go.
    17:25
No. If you hit any other switch, it turns it off. Like the pop bumpers.
    17:32
Just give me like 10 minutes and I'll uh I'll get it. Ah, here we go. Oh, now he fell asleep again. No. Okay. Thank god. All right. It looks like the best feature is extra ball. So, I'm going to um have to build up some more Kruegerands and see what other cool stuff Freddy can offer us. Okay, I got 28 krugarans right now. Let's see what Freddy offers now. Oh, three ball. Wait, Krueger and three ball. Sure.
    18:26
All right. Now I got to figure out how to get the uh Freddy jackpot. Oh yeah. Extra ball target and animation and sounds.
    18:37
Pretty cool. You want to hear Freddy beltch out the ball? Okay, I have final nightmare lit. I was trying to figure out how to light dream warriors. I still don't know how to get the Freddy jackpot, but I had to uh hit record because at any moment I could fall asleep and the final nightmare will begin.
    19:06
Oh, I didn't want coffee. I wanted to
    19:06
Oh, I didn't want coffee. I wanted to fall asleep. Let's go trade in some cru. Oh, no. The uh wire form does not feed the inlay. It goes over that in lane switch. All right, let's go. Uh, glove. What is that going to give me? Set alarm. Okay, it'll give me an alarm before I fall asleep. That's kind of cool. Wonder if I'll hear that. Here it is. Final nightmare. I've never played this. Don't know what I'm doing. Hit all strobing shocks.
    19:52
Hit everything. Am I hitting anything? I'm not looking. Just looking at the flippers.
    20:13
How much time do I got? Let's hit the captain ball. Should I uh cheat? What happened? Final nightmare defeated.
    20:34
Hit all strobing shots. I think it was defeated. So, we might Yeah, we're back to nightmare one. So, all I got to figure out now is uh how to light dream warriors. I'll be right back after I cash in some cougar hands. What do we got? What do we got? Extra B. Why not? Okay, have a look at my score. Two billion. That's because I've been throwing the ball around the playfield for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to light my Freddy jackpot. I checked the internet and uh I did what it told me to do, but that didn't seem to help. So, it's going to be no Dream Warrior spoilers, I guess, because I can't figure it out. And I got so many points right now and I've gone so far through the game that uh apparently
    21:38
apparently doesn't want to give me any more awards. It's fun to shop with Freddy. Oh, it finally is giving me awards again. Okay, 14 Kruger. Sure, let's buy it. Pencils
    21:58
Still semi not giving up on Dream Warrior, but I think I'm going to have to. So, anyway, this game is, like I said, packed full of lots of stuff. It's uh pretty cool that I get to, you know, hang on to this machine for a little bit, but can't keep everything forever. So, uh literally delivering this to my buddy in a few hours. So, hope you enjoy.
    22:39
2 billion. Oh, it's not even over yet. Oh, let's just uh make it over.
    22:47
I know. I know. I'm trying to make it
    22:47
I know. I know. I'm trying to make it over so I can uh enter some initials. Whose initials should I enter?
    23:01
Let's use that claw save one more time. Oh no. Or or not. Or fail. I tried. Dream warriors. Just award it to me. Flipper active.
    23:18
All right, it's actually over now. Since it's going to uh Greg Benz, I don't know what his actual initials are,
    23:38
but let's go. Uh oh, I call him Benzy, but I don't have enough uh letters for that. So, Ben, it is not Benny. Ben's got most souls saved, too. Oh, okay. Okay. Now, this one can be K
    24:07
Kevin. He's helping me deliver it. So, be funny to see him see his name on the high score table. Anyway, hope you enjoyed
