Well, something else the committee wanted me to express here or tell you guys is they made a decision to make Tim Sexton an honorary committee member. So if that happened, then we're already in. Well, they're thinking Tim's going to invite Teolas. That's what they're hoping for. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, because Tim is a true blue slam-tail guy. So once you invite him now, Tim Sexton in, we're in. Now, wait a minute. Did you get permission from Zach Sharp to invite Tim Sexton in? He can't do anything without his permission. Well, that's true. And the committee has not talked to Tim about this, hasn't talked to Stern. So, you know, Stern may put their foot down and just say, hey, you can't do this. But, you know, the committee, you know, Tim was a two-time TTI invitee. He's a local made good. Even though he's from New York, we consider him a local up this way. So we want to honor Tim the best we can by making him an honorary committee member, and we'll give him a selection to the Podcaster Bloodbath. So he can smooch Tim, too. But like I said, I think Tim's going to probably go with Teolas.

I was a BMXer, but more importantly, on that game, on the back glass, is a Schwinn BMX rider, and I worked for Schwinn for about 20 years. So that's a sentimental game for me. So if people don't know, Chuck, besides being the committee man, and runs tournaments for the New England Pinball League, if I remember correctly? Correct. Right now I'm the president of the New England Pinball League, NEPL. So I'm in charge of wrangling up all, I think we're going to have 13 locations going into next season. And over 200 players this year, or this season. 200 players!

    Let's see. It started when I used to play hockey. I'd go to the rinks, and there's always pinball machines there.

    I started playing pinball before every hockey game. Then I went away to a hockey camp up in Canada. It's a living camp. I stayed there for two to three weeks at a time. And attached to the rink, there was a bowling alley, which had always two to three pinball machines. And whenever we weren't playing, I would be playing pinball. And it basically started there. Back then, EMs were the games.

    I remember Bon Voyage was one of the games. Royal Guard was another game. Then a year or two later, you know, the Valley Star All-States started coming in. I started playing those, you know, power play and strikes and spares and, you know, all the old ballies.

Well, the first tournament I held at my place, I wanted to have something very Bostonian sounding. And Wicked Pissa is just a Bostonian expression, or a New England expression.

And then they get everything set up and have, like, the worst internet ever, where I think eventually they had to, instead of the usual three-camera rig, they had to go down to, like, a two-camera, do, like, 480p with, like, they managed to get 60 frames on the play field. I don't know how they did that. And they managed to get it at least watchable by the end. Yeah, of course, yeah. But, man. And they got criticized about it. Yeah, and then they got criticized about it, which, like, some of the criticism was, like, why, an event that size, Why is it like, you know, Papa or I.E. Pinball, which are the two that always come up with, you know, that have the best setups. Why weren't they doing it? I mean, yes, because I'm sure Buffalo Pinball were making tons of money covering that. You know, it's just. Yeah, of course. And if you notice, the person who was criticizing didn't get asked either. This seems to be the best balance, meaning that all areas of the play field can score big and multiple strategies can be adopted with success. And strategies change as you progress. Much better than Storn's call-outs. the fact that it's based on the next-gen actors versus the new wave of the latest Star Trek actors. I think it's a big plus for the next-gen machine. And I actually like the video mode because I've won a lot of tournaments because of video mode on that machine. I know the pattern, so that's a big plus for me. Boo, pattern video modes suck. That made no sense. Well, the reason why I would sell Stern first is because I could easily replace it. They made so many of them, they just introduced the new vault. I mean, it's a dime a dozen. So, again, I would keep next gen, but if I had to pick the quality of the gameplay and, yeah, it's the overall experience, I'd have to say the Stern is probably a little bit better. But like I say, they're a dime a dozen. They're easy to get. And next gen, it's a tough game to find in good working order. Nice. Mine works fine. Mine doesn't have a video mode.
