What's up Internet? How's everyone doing? We are at the Chicago Pinball Expo 2019 and we're about to kick off the finals for the Bells and Chimes Chicago Women's Tournament. We got the top 16 ladies ready to duke it out for this awesome trophy and they're going to be battling for an Elvira House of Horrors playfield. I have Rebecca here with me. One of these Chicago Bears. I'm sorry. This is the bride of Pinball dressed up as. This is my favorite Pinball character, Elvira, for the event. I can speak. You look freaking amazing. I love it. An awesome trophy. If you win, you get this play field from Elvira's House of Horrors. And it's going to be great. So we're going to kick it over to you guys. Good luck. Ladies, take it home. Yes. Awesome! Again, thank you so much. Welcome to the final Women's Tournament sponsored by Belgium Shag Chicago here at the Chicago Swim Ball Expo 2019. 30th anniversary? 35th, I'm sorry. I got that wrong. 35th. 35th anniversary. My name is Jen Rupert, aka Jay Rupert. I am joining you here from Columbus, Ohio. I am also joined by two really awesome people. Thank you. Yeah. My name is Crystal Gemnick. I am from Chicago, but I'm currently in Columbia, South Carolina. I'm Raymond Davidson, and I'm from Everett, Washington. Awesome. Well, awesome. Thanks, guys, for joining us. We are so super excited to be able to be streaming the finals of the women's tournament here at the Chicago Memorial. Right now, what we have is the top 16 ladies have been battling out over the last two days. to qualify for this finals format that is going to be pretty, pretty tough single elimination. That's two out of three, right? That's two out of three, yes. Single elimination, that's two out of three. And we do have our first game that's actually going to be up on Elvira. How awesome was that? I was going to say, Ryder came back dressed up as Elvira. How great was that? That was pretty cool. That was pretty, pretty awesome. If you guys are here and you're able to come and see it in person, it is super, duper awesome. But, yes, who we're going to have her first name is actually going to be up on Elvira. And we do have it. It's going to be Sunshine Vaughn and Rachel Carly, who Rachel is one of the tournament directors here. Yep, and she's a local Bells and Chimes charter member. She basically started Bells and Chimes out here, and she's, like you said, one of the tournament directors. Yep, so we do have that coming up. And I know that we were talking a little bit earlier before we started, Raymond, you were telling us a little bit about Elvira. It's a super-duper new game, and I know I'm very new at it. So, like, kind of work with your strategy. I don't really have a strategy. I just know about the possible things a little bit. Like, I know there's a multiball in this sort of Attack from Mars, medieval madness area there. I think you just block it a couple times. And then there's also these targets, I think, like this ramp for a multiball. Okay. And I think if you start this multiball first, then you can kind of use that as a safety net to work on your target and then bring this multiball in. Oh, awesome. And then there's also this little guy over here, which you shoot it in there, and it sort of locks the ball and shoots it to the other side, which is pretty cool. And I think that works towards the multiball. It's an unusual sort of trigger versus like a scoop that just kind of pops it out onto the flipper. I know playing it, I was like, turn off a little bit. Like, oh, wait a minute. I should be able to live catch this, but I can't. Yeah, it just like slides across. The first time I saw it, it actually worked, but most of the time it misses. It's supposed to shoot it into a little capture thing here. I was going to say, that's the coffin that's right there. Because we know too much about it. Like, they're stiff, yeah. Yeah, they're stiff about what's going on with the coffin. So the other thing in this game is you're going to see players shooting up the center. A lot. It starts your modes. So right now, she's in this mode with the floating head guy. It's kind of like different movies throughout history. And apparently the fourth mode is the multiball, and it's worth, like, way more than everything else in the game, is what I'm told. I haven't actually gotten there or anything, but that's something to look out for. So Sunshine has something that, um, there's lots of blue there. So you're saying, so I think Raymond was saying that she's in one of those modes right now. So the question that I had is, I know when I was playing this earlier during qualifying, because I got, kind of like the floating has, like, from here to here, right? But I think that you get that by lighting this into here, and you get a different mode depending on a different head, and that gives you a different mode. But when you go into there, do you light the head and then have to hit it up into the... They might be separate things. I'm not sure. Okay. Because I know you shoot the center to light the center, and I know the right thing is its own sort of multivolve, but maybe they interact with each other. I'm not too sure. But right now it looks like she started the mansion mode and then brought in the multiball from shooting that lock shot. And so now she can click jackpots. It looks like the only jackpot available is that right side right there. She's doing a nice job by controlling it right now. Look at that. Ball trapped on each flipper. Now jackpot up the middle. Nice try there. Again, that's so much control that she has right there with that multiball trapping it up again. and it's like you said, she's trying to hit that center jackpot shot. Do you know how much that center jackpot shot is going to be worth? I think it's only like maybe $400,000 or $500,000, but then it works towards a super, which can be like a million or two. And then which shot would get your super? Is it the same shot or? I'm not sure. I think it'll move around. Meanwhile, the head mode is still happening, So that green arrow, I think, is the head mode. So you can't, like you said earlier. Oh, there's two for a million. Oh, wow, it was the mansion. It was the mansion. So you've got a sunshine fan in the chat. I'd love to see sunshine win this. Is Julie her opponent? No. Rachel. Rachel is her opponent. Oh, someone just says Julie in the background. Yep. Yep. All right, so ball one locked. So you can just go back to that multiball again. I think it gets a little bit harder, but it gets worth more and more points. So I believe that when I was playing it earlier, the first time is you have to hit that drop target down, and then you can lock your ball from there. So maybe you need to hit your drop target down. Oh. You have to keep hitting it more. To relight your block. Yeah, that's possible. I haven't had too much time on this table. I know it's kind of new. Oh, it's super new. I've only played it once. Yeah. Well, they have plenty of them here for you to try out. So if anybody is out there that's listening and watching, if you are here in the tournament, you're sure to have a plethora of all-virus eagles. Many, many, many. Many, many, many. Watergate. Oh, wow. The Watergate mode. Something. Yeah, so Ricky, I see Ricky Ruru, you're asking him what our thoughts are on this. And like I said, I haven't had a lot of time on this table to really make a judgment on whether or not I'm like, yeah, this is great. What I've played of it, I really enjoy it. I think it does have, there's so many different modes. And I like that you can stack the modes with your multiball. And it's a lot of fun. It's a really smooth table. I love the artwork. Oh, it's gorgeous in person. It is so colorful. And the animations are really fantastic. Like Elvira coming out on the screen. I even just love the font, like, you know, the text. It's all, like, Elvira-y, you know. It's really good. I love the play on the jumper, like, the leapers, except it's gargoyle. Oh, yeah. It's just, like... Yeah, kind of bringing in some of, like, the elements of the other tables that are out there. Yep. I did. I originally thought they were the leapers, because then you were, like, when you take a picture of them, you're like, oh, they are gargoyles. So it doesn't look like... Are the modes not timed? Because you've been in this one for... Oh, the floating head mode. Yeah, for quite a while. It's pretty much the whole wall. Maybe all the modes have a floating head. I'm not sure. Oh, there is a timer. Escape to the house. Okay. Oh, there is a timer. But it paused right now. It might pause if it doesn't pause. Oh, yeah. Oh. Which it looks like that's where she's having at right now. I see. Okay. Gotcha. Did she get an extra ball? Are extra balls turned on? Extra balls should be turned off. Is she going to play the extra ball? No. Or is that an extender? Like, in the old Scarlett's Gifts, you could earn multiball extenders, and it would show with the remote control light. So I wonder if that's some sort of multiball extender. So I think she did earn the extra ball because I saw the animation come on the screen where she didn't get it. Oh, okay. It doesn't maybe look like extra balls are turned off on this table. Oh, I wonder what they're going to do. I do not think that they are playing extra balls. I think probably setting up a skill shot, but we'll definitely see, you know, what her ball actually is. Wouldn't it? I know this is way better than I did during bubble time. Yeah, she's kind of making this look like a joke. Yeah. Like, she's just kind of going to town. Marching on through the modes here. Or through the mode. The mode, maybe. We're still not sure. I think it's like the Uncle, it's like Uncle something is the name of this mode. Oh, we're so excited that you've been waiting for this all day. Aw. Nice live catch. Sunshine is having a really good ball here. Yeah, Sunshine's a really good player. Oh, nice save there. She's got a lot of endurance. She can play for a long time, that's for sure. That and the paces that she has, too. Yeah. Trusting that she can catch it and then doing that nice little step. Lots of really good control. Yeah. Yep. Oh, watch out. Oh, that's a good save. Oh, good save. Yes, if we are able to find a link to the bracket so that you can be able to see it, it should be on Cha Long. This game does look like a lot of fun to shoot, though. Thank you. It looks like it has a really good layout. Excited to give a hand. Definitely when you get your groove into your shots, I think. Especially if you can really dial into your hot shot, like it looks like she's doing right now to be able to get that. Oh, ball too large. So she almost has that second multiball ready. Yeah, which I think since she already had that the first time, I think the drop target then comes back up again. That's why she had to save it a couple of times. So I think she's going to have to hit the drop target again. So the men's B final. The open final. Yeah, the open final has been going on basically since 10 o'clock this morning. A and B have been going on at the same time. I know that they are still going on and that they will probably finish up tomorrow. We are tuned in to the women's finals right now. We don't have any divisions in this. It was the top 15 women going to a single. There's the multiball again. Single elimination, best two out of three. We're at it. Oh, she started the multiball. Look at that jackpot. Yeah, terrific. These are some big jackpots, too. She's making it look so easy. 1.4 million. She's doing a great job of utilizing that ball save while she can. Okay, ball take is over, so she's going to want to get some control. It's due for $7 million. Oh, wow. I wonder if this is the house party mode that I was told about, because she's been playing. And I do see the house looks like it's having a party. So, yeah, I think she actually went through all four mansion modes. Great. That's crazy. look she's almost on the high scoreboard on ball one yep 4.1 normally a house party is not something you want in pinball but this is one exception so i guess apparently this game is redefining what maybe a house actually is look at this yes she's having a really great game right now it's just a terrific ball Oh, and she got the ball saved. Yep. Oh, my goodness. So when it goes down the right out lane, it gives you a chance to spin a wheel, and if you hit the button at the right time, you can save the ball, kind of like Hobbit on the right out lane. So she just extended it. This is a huge point opportunity. That's a great little callback to scared step, too, having the wheel. Stop the spider. Jackpot. 3.7 million. This is crazy. She is having a good time. And still have to sit and think, this is ball one. One, yeah. This is ball one. Great ball. Terrific ball. Like, I wouldn't be upset at all. That was my, I wouldn't be upset if that was my game. Look at this bonus. 12 million bonus. And now we get to find out if she gets to shoot again. It does look like the extra balls are some of the games, so we're going to probably have a ruling on this. I know the de facto ruling is you play extra balls as if they come up, but, you know, tournament directors can always make their own ruling. Sure. Still play one, sure. That's just the IFPA sort of what they've decided. But I know a lot of tournaments have people plunge the ball with no flippers. But you can set up the skill set. From there. So we will see. And you said Rachel is the tournament director? Yeah, Rachel is one of these. Is there a backup tournament director? I believe that there's three or four. Yeah, well, Bride of Pinbot dressed as Elvira is one of them. Uh-huh. And I believe Kate Porter might be the other. So I wonder if they need to kind of ask for a ruling since she's playing. Sure. Yep. Yep. Yep. Interesting. I'm so just like, oh, the plate goes. It's so beautiful. It's really great. It's so cool that one of them gets to take it home. I know. I wish it was me. That's quite a thing to hang up on your wall. Oh, for sure. Yep. It is. Along with the trophy. Yeah. I think I'd rather have the plate go than the trophy. Yeah. Someone was telling me there's some plate field multipliers that can go crazy. But I don't know where they are. They might be some of the targets. Maybe these ones? I don't know. I just know that there's a 2x and a 4x. Oh, no. Our Carl has left us, so I don't know how to get rid of the circles. Uh-oh. Well. All right. Oh, he's, okay, so he looks like he's figuring out what's going on with the extra ball situation. All right. It looks like she's going to. Like, she is going to set up her skill shot, if that looks like it is. Okay. So, I know that there is a skill shot in the back that you literally do have to aim in the back of the house. Okay. Oh, like a kind of like a medium plunge? It's like a medium-ish plunge. Okay. So, not quite the soft plunge to get it into the pops. They're not obviously the hard plunge. Okay. It's kind of like a hidden, almost like Transformers, if you get it behind. Yep. Yep. Or Funhaus. Or Funhaus. Yeah. Where it has that skill shot. Oh, really? Behind the mansion? Behind the mansion. I like that. Skill shot there. all right so Rachel is up this is the this is the famed Rachel who made the Spanish I say that tender Because Hallie comes from Columbus, so I know that Hallie had a good game, and then she did all that. That's Spanish ice cream. I don't know if you guys can see it. I watched it, yeah. It was pretty wild. Really terrific. It was, again, like a pro. I can't tell you how you do it. Nope. Made it look easy. Made it look easy. All right, so started a mode here. It looks like the heads must be separate because she started a mode without a head. So maybe as you get heads, they appear on top of the mode. Well, that's what I was saying. I think that if you shoot into this, it will open up. And then after it opens up, you can shoot it back into it again. And that's when you get one of the head modes. But if you actually shoot it up into the mansion here, it's when it starts one of the regular. Oh, she can save it here. Ball save, ball save, ball save. Oh, no. Did she walk away? Oh, no. Oh, no, she didn't walk away. Maybe she didn't hit the right button. Maybe she, like, double-flipped instead of hitting the action button. I'm not sure. Does anybody know anything about the gargoyles and what they do? I think they make cool sounds and look fun. They jump up and down and nothing. Okay. Maybe they're the Play-Doh multiplayer. Yeah, so, Ricky Roo, I believe, so how you lock in the wheel, You can insert the action button on the block bar that when it's spinning, it will bat. Similar to, like, again, like you said, the call-out to get the wheel up in. Yeah, that's kind of just right. It's funny. There's, like, other rewards on that wheel, but why would you want anything other than ball things? Oh, thank you. No, it's kind of like when you're playing Wizard of Oz and you're like, I have to get your back and forth to try and, like... Meanwhile, Sunshine has started her second... Third. This is her third multiball. Yeah. Third multiball. The second one of the green circle variety. It's called Add a Zombie Multiball. And there it is. Added a zombie, just like that. So it looks like the orange cat probably. Oh, and she stacked the left ramp multiball with this. So that's how she has so many going on now. Oh, man. Okay. Calm down. Yep. Beautiful patience there. Yep. Look at that. Oh. Oh, wow. It's okay. It's okay. We're good. Nice. Look at that. She notices when she's in danger, and then she, you know, gets those balls safe and then back to control. Yep. All right. So it looks like the left ramp is where the jackpot is right now. There's also one on the right orbit. Oh, there is. Yep. Oh, no. It's okay. Is it even on there? I don't see it. I don't see it as an option. Maybe it'd be in a ball save one. Yeah, it might be, like, totally adopted, like a Wizard of Oz. Double bonus. Wow, that's a little... I'm not sure if she intended to, but she did a soft launch rather than... So that's what... I don't know if maybe she was kind of doing that, and try to get that appeal for it. Okay, sure. Oh, no. Is there no ball save? No. Have you no heart? Jeez. All right, well, Sunshine still has to play. You know, her heart is here, because you never know what all three holds. So it looks like she's got her center mansion mode lit again. There's some sort of lights in the middle of the play field that are, like, a lot of them in a row. Yeah, I see. You're talking about these ones right here? I don't know what they are, but there's many of them. No, and it doesn't help that I'm really blind and I can't zoom in and see. Okay. Two shots. Oh, wow. I didn't even know that the castle fed like that. Like, it just whipped around sort of. And then right, yeah, right down the middle. All right, so this is Rachel's third ball. This could be Rachel's third ball. Do they have our mics on those loudspeakers? For sure. All right. Okay. Ah, that sounds better? Yeah, it does sound better. Oh, we were thinking the same thing. We have to do that. Oh, geez. All right. I think they might need to mute the mic by the game. So, Raymond, would you say that if you were in the situation that you would go for multiball? Yes, I would definitely. Well, I'd start a mode first, yeah. Then once you get that going, now it's really echoing. We'll just be quiet and watch. This is what you were saying, it looks like she has a mode going on right now. This might be one of the house modes. So now going for the multiball. Yeah, I think at this point I might actually just try to get through all the house modes. The multiball is nice, but that house party was way bigger than all the other ones. Yep. Oh, ball two blocks. There we go. So I think multiball is lit now. Oh, that's the same drain now. Yeah, it's the same drain that Sunshine had. I'll play a one-edger initial. So that means Sunshine is going to take the first out of three games. That's two out of three. Okay. So Rachel still obviously has a good chance. There's no elimination bracket, right? So if Rachel loses the next game, it's done, right? So there's no elimination. And I believe this format that they're going to be, and I'm not quite sure if it's the winner that gets to choose the game or order. I think the loser chooses the next game. So that's why it's so important to be high seat. So Sunshine must have been seated higher because she got to pick this game. So then if she loses the next game, she'll get that safety net of being able to pick for the final deciding game. Whereas if you're the lower seed, one of your games, or two of your games are not going to be the ones that you want. And it looks like we are going to be moving over to... A surprise. Surprise game. Alright. Hello everybody. Oh now you can see, here's where I get to make my Carl Weathers reference. Yeah. We have a nice green screen behind us. I did actually study Carl Weathers in school. So maybe like the green that I've always had of being on my green screen. If you see this little block line here, right there, yep, and then it's kind of moving in this direction. This, this, ah, this is harder. This, this direction. But we, again, my name is Jennifer. We are here at the women's division finals. Top 16. Oh, you can't hear me? Can I scoot it in a little more? It's the chocolate ladder. I've never been told the chocolate ladder in my life. It's an interesting thing. But, yes, again, my name is Jennifer, a.k.a. Jay Rube. We are joined here again by Raymond and Crystal. Yeah, right? Raymond and Crystal. I know. I'm sorry. We just met today. Like 20 minutes ago. 20 minutes ago. But, again, both really great, awesome people. I'm super glad that you guys are here. and also really excited to be here with the women's division finals. So we mentioned earlier there has been a battle over the past two days, and we have the top 16 women completing in the single elimination. That's two out of three brackets. We did just watch Sunshine and Rachel on their first game, and now we are actually going to move over to Sunshine and Rachel again on their second game. It looks like we are going to get to enjoy some Beatles. Oh, Beatles. I was having fun with this in the practice bank the other day, Beetles have been my nemesis all day. Yeah, I don't like it in tournaments, but it's fun to play. It's like Sea Witch, you know? Yeah. It's a great equalizer. I think, for sure. Especially if you want to be done quickly. Although not for Keith, who put up $10 million yesterday in the tournament. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. So, Crystal, what is your strategy when you're playing with beetles? I usually start with Pops, because I like to have it bounce around up there and try and hit all those needle targets. And then if I can get my spinners, I can move on to spinners and then have my spinners look really well. I don't know. Sometimes it will change up. Sometimes you're like, oh, I feel like hitting the drop targets around. It's kind of a choose-your-own-adventure. It really is. And I think the scoring is super well-balanced. They did a really good job of making everything sort of. Yeah, the only real key thing is on ball three to choose the multiball. Choose the multiball. That was the first thing that I was told when I played the game. Always choose the multiball when you go to ball three. You got a shout out, Crystal. Hello. So, Raymond, what do you usually choose? I like the spinners because they have those new opto-style pre-spinning spinners. So when you hit one, it just feels so good to spin. Super clean. And then the loop mode, depending on if you can loop it over and over again. Get into that groove, like almost a Doctor Who situation where you keep hitting that over and over and over. Or my Iron Maiden, too. Yep. What about you? I'm a pop. I like to pop too. I wish I had songs memorized of which one was it, but I don't. I know the loops is Drive My Car. Drive My Car. Yeah. All My Lovin' is the multiball. Those are the only ones I know. Oh, she's getting a really great rumor on that. Oh, nice day. How do you save it on Beatles? There's nothing over there. It's just a metal rail. That was great. That was great. So she got Beatlemania already. All right, so she's in the loop mode still. Nice save. You've got 10 more seconds of this, and then once the timer runs out, you can collect all the points again. Yeah, but I was going to say right here. Right there, yep. You hit those drop targets down. Uh-oh. Oh, nice. So you'll be able to collect once the mode times out. Yep. And there's even a thing where if you don't collect and play another mode on the same ball and finish that one, now your super is lit for double that first mode. Yeah. So it's like this crazy risk-reward, but I don't see people going for that because you never survive two modes on this game. But it's fun to try for when you're playing for fun. And then you've always got the fun spinning record. Oh, fun? Yeah. Yeah. Right in the middle there. Every once in a while it helps you, but it usually hurts you more than it helps you. So it looks like that super is lit now, so she'll go for that. Nice try there. She's also fell fab four by hitting the drop targets. And so now the next mode is available. Oh, bummer. And you start that by shooting either orbit. Sure. Yeah. And that one you can actually play the multiball before ball three if you happen to be on that mode. So the mode is picked from the bumpers. So if you beat one mode and then start the next mode, there's a chance you can do the multiball. Okay, so after you complete your one mode during a ball and you go to let your next go, you don't have the option to choose which one it is. It's whichever one it's landed on from the bumpers. Okay, so now we have sunshine. Sunshine. There are three skill shots on this game, correct? There, yeah, there's the short plunge into the skill shot lane. There's the short plunge into the jackpot lane with the upper flipper. Yep. And then there's the skill shot into the pop bumpers, which I think is worth the most. Right there. And I've actually seen some super secret one where if you shoot it, like, without hitting any bumpers into those targets. Oh, wow. Which is, like, really hard to do, but it's worth, like, 200K or something. I did it totally by accident one time. I was like, whoa. All right. So mode she then is. Orbit? Drive my car. Yeah, because she's in loops. Oh, she might get that back. She might get that back. She didn't? No. In the main thing, they have that ball thing turned on. So if it comes down the super jackpot lane and goes out, it gives it back to you. Huh. So that's a bummer. Yeah, oh well. I mean, still has multiple on ball three, so that's where a lot of points are coming from. Rachel has chosen right now is that. And you can add a ball by hitting the mid-three target over that direction. I think it's right here. Yes. There it is. Add a ball. Maybe. Maybe it wasn't lit. You have to light it by hitting the blue targets. They're kind of scattered throughout. Oh, there it is. Mid-three is lit. Oh, but I think the multiball's over, so they will not... Yeah. All right, so if you can collect the super here, which will be worth 236,000 points... Ooh, tilt warning. Aggressive looping. Oh, no! That's like the classic Iron Maiden drain. Yep. I'm sure you could get the super jackpot on that, too. Just like, loop, loop, loop, and then it goes. Yep. Loop jackpot lit! Great. All right. So Sunshine just needs about 800,000. Which doesn't seem like a lot on Beatles, but it can be. It is. Especially with that multiball. Yeah, if she gets her multiball, she'll want to get a jackpot. But first you have to light the jackpot with 20 switch hits. And then, oh, did she use, okay, there it is. Oh, my love it. So she's in the switch hit mode right now. Looks like 23 to go. So maybe 25 total. And once the jackpot's lit, you have to hit that shot. Oh, that would have been a perfect jackpot, but it wasn't. Each one of those would have been perfect. Oh, she got it, though. It looked like it lit itself as it was sort of going around. So now to light the next jackpot, she needs another, you know, 25 or 30 switch hits. Oh, bummer. Now, if she collects the super here, it'll give her about, yeah, 233,000. left out. Alright, so that's going to put Sunshine and Rachel at one and one. So we are going to go to a third game. So good choice on Rachel's part then. Eldoron on the game she chose. And I think that entire game lasted one ball of maybe what Sunshine did. It's like, we do have a couple of rounds already finished. So Tracy and Julie, say Tracy did take Julie moving on to the next round. We have Penny and Maya. I'm just saying that right. Maya. Penny is moving on to the next round as well. So again, I'm really, I always think of the Carl Weathers. I'm like, it's the Carl Weathers. Yes. So again, my name is Jen Rupert. We are watching the women's division finals here at the Chicago Pinball Expo. I am joined by Raymond and Crystal here. And we are waiting on, yes, we are waiting on to see what is going to be the next game. I believe probably in the Rachel and Sunshine. Yeah. You'll see this too at the conclusion. Okay. So we do, we started off, I believe there's actually 43 women that we started off with the last two days playing in this in the top 16. Made it into the finals. We are doing a single elimination. That's two out of three bracket style finals. And we were just watching Sunshine and Rachel, which I believe they were the chap to see. I could be wrong. Well, it's one of them. I think sunshine was probably the top seed, which would make Rachel. Right, but I don't know if they were maybe like one and two. We usually set it up top and bottom and sort of work from there. We had the bracket. We can look. So we're moving on to monsters. Oh, boy. Since someone made a nice joke in the chat about the Carl Weathers being sunny, sunshine. Sunshine, yeah. Sunshine. It is not a premium. It's a pro. Okay. Okay, so... However, I believe it is set to hard because Herman is not ready. Oh no. As soon as you punch neither is spot. Good. So you do have to get all of the letters on spot as well as hit the Herman all four. That's the danger. And this monster, when I was playing it earlier, is very... What was the format for the woman's qualifying? It was a her style. So unlimited entries? It was unlimited entries and it was your top four games. Okay. So you could avoid this game if you wanted to, but then if you pay for the prizes, you have to play it. I had a decent score my first game, but I did not. I wonder if Rachel played it in qualifying. Sunshine thinking about her next move. Post pass to Herman. Probably try to do Herman. She might have also been waiting out that danger. Oh, yeah. That really works for me. You basically just start with Herman. It's kind of the starting point of all Munsters games. And then you just kind of bring people into the party. You know, Lily. I was going to say, I usually bring Lily in next. And then I try and do Spot. And then Raven happens after that. Ooh. Ooh. This is nice. Okay. So now this shot is the crucial one. She has to survive. Oh, no. I'm on edge while I'm here. Because if you drain it, it's three shots again on the net ball. There it is. Perfect. Angie has a danger on a very sensitive machine. Yeah, be careful. No, that was like after I got my danger. I was literally playing with just like... Deadpool is very much like this, though, when that's in this bank as well. Oh, really? Oh, yeah. Good to know. So, oh, the ball's still on Herman. Herman right now, yeah. Oh, that's all right. You know what? That's why hopefully there's one. It does look like she has Lily going right now at the same time as well. Excellent. Which Lily, I believe, is double. It's just like points. I'm not sure what the scoring is. But what it does do is it lights this play field multiplier up here. Every one of these, you turn solid, lights the play field multiplier, and it goes from 2x to 3x, and then both of them light, and you get 6x. And I believe that's the kitty. Yes. Correct? Yep. So that's how you really blow it up, is you get those six X points. Because, you know, one stick to the work to get the same score. And wisdom to the wise, you have not. We are actually just getting started. So this is the first round of the finals for the women's division. Oh, that's the username. I was like, wisdom to the wise. Is that your new name right there? All right. started the enlarging ray so that's another mode down here it's the grandpa mode so that will light kitty again yes this is the first of the final round and it is single elimination 16 players yep 16 players plus two out of three and right now we are on game number three for sunshine, Bonn and Rachel Carlin so now I think there's also a super jackpot lit on the super jackpot lane. So I would love to hear both of your guys' opinions. Okay. Do you cancel and wait until ball three? I wait until I have at least the 3x playfield multiplier going. And then you finish it. Yeah. Agreed. So it really doesn't matter what ball you cash that in. I do want to get it sooner rather than later because you might not get a chance later. And that playfield multiplier you're talking about is hitting the kitty. Yep. So it looks like, I think what's interesting is if she just times this out, she'll have Raven multivol lit. So maybe that's why she's kind of taking her time with these shots. Just kind of, you know, when the timer stops, then take another shot, then wait again. There it is. So now Raven is, oh, no, is it still going? Still going. Oh, eight seconds. No, she's still in Grandpa right now. Eight seconds of Grandpa left. It might be one if you trap up and it doesn't hit or validate anything, does the timer actually just stop? Yeah. Although that mode looked pretty good. She got 600K for that grandpa shot, so I was maybe even a player. Yeah. Wisdoms do I know? I did not, unfortunately. I did not know that they were broadcasting our voice over the speakerphone. We didn't know that. Hopefully they get that audio. I think we're still... Are we still... I can't tell if it was intentional. Okay. Okay, well now we know. Yep. And now we do have Raven going. And look at that control. Look at that control. It's terrific. Sunshine seems like the kind of player who would kind of die for control. Like, if she loses one ball, it's okay as long as she has still gone. That insurance, you know. Yeah. It's great. So you can see you have the 2X running. Good. And Raven multiball. Oh. There it is. We're going to restart. Perfect. Awesome. And a flawless shot, too. Just flawless. Okay. And it looks like we only need one more mode. We only need one more mode. Grandpa Super. So it looks like it's not canceled. So 2 million. Look at that. 3x running. That was a decent time. Oh, now it's 6x, though. Could have held out for more. It looks like she might have gotten a replay. Oh, this is special. There's some ball saves still going, but I don't know why. Oh, the ball's stuck in. Yeah, it's still over in the Dragula shop. Oh, add a ball. So she's still in multi-balling. Yeah. Look at those points just going up. $15 million now. Everything is sick. That million jackpot. Oh, my goodness. So she has a really, really good setup going on right now. Like you said, with the six-ass play field going. multiball is going. Danger. Oh, no. Oh. And that is just how. You weren't kidding about the really sensitive. Very. Oh, my goodness. Very sensitive. Another great ball won by Sunshine. Really great. Yeah, that was really impressive. Yeah, it is a very good solid start. I think that was more than... I said I had a decent game on it, but I still think that whole one ball was better than my whole game overall. That must have been an accumulation tilt. Like, you just kind of keep nudging it, and the tilt ball just keeps going in circles, and then eventually just... Well, she had that one danger. Oh, that's right. That's how long that ball was. I had forgotten about that. Right. So now here's another question. Which of the skill shots do you guys go for? I like the ramp skill shot, I guess. Same. Maryland, right? Yeah. Either of them are good. Because I know some people maybe tend to do the soft plunge. Sure. To do the bounce over to your right, to hit your left ramp. Some people like to hold that flipper down to be able to go. Yeah, I usually go for the full plunge just because, I don't know, I feel like I've burnt myself too many times on the short plunge because there's no ball save. So even if you short plunge and don't get zero points, you get zero. Like, that's it at the end. so there's no really advantage to short plunging too much. Oh, that's okay. But the thing, at least that was good because she did not have her actually going. So it's still set up and it's still ready to go. Yep, this is a game of opportunities. And as long as you still have your opportunities, you're still in it. It looks like the last remaining character is Spot. So three ramps will start that mode. Which you can get in the groove of kind of going, you know, if you get into it, you know, you hit your Merlin and then you hit, I think it's Raven, right? Yep. Or whatever. Just kind of like going right, right, right. Almost like a fish tail zest before you get boxed in. So you can turn the ball save on on this, But out of the box, it's not on. So unless someone turns it on. Oh, my goodness. Ooh. A little house ball. Straight down the middle there. And most people say, and then that's fun. That's usually how my ball goes. Yeah. Oh, look at that. Perfect skill set. What's fun on the premium, you can actually get a double super secret skill shot where you full plunge into the little grandpa hole. Into your grandpa hole. And then you hit a shot down below. Oh, wow. Yep. All right. So she started Herman. So she's guaranteed a two-ball multiball. She hits the ball within ten seconds. She'll get a three-ball multiball. That was weird. It looked like she nailed it, and it just didn't move. Oh. It's okay. She'll start a two-ball multiball. Yep. And so during this, yep, you want to hit those willy targets just like she's doing there. Super jackpot. Cancel. Nice. Good thinking. Quick thinking. It's hard to keep track of that with all the multiballs going on. Yeah, you can almost see the red out of like the corner of your eye. Yeah, you're like, whoa. Yeah, I'm going to cancel. I don't know what this is called because I know like your first reads are this way, but like down. Yep. Down. You have to learn that, especially when you have to learn how to read DMDs, you know, like get used to everything. It's like. All right. So, oh, danger. Danger. Watch out. All right. Look at these. These great, like, calm things where you know if you nudge it even a little bit. Oh, no. There's nothing you can do on that one. No. Is that ball two or ball three? This is ball two. Okay. So, we're going to go into ball three. You got one more ball. It's going to be tough to come back without a Hermit, but you can get Raven. Raven's where Sunshine got a lot of her points. Yep. So Sunshine still has to work on pot. Yep. So then tell us a little bit about Monster Madness. So once you play all five of the main modes, you shoot the scoop to start Monster Madness. And I think it's kind of like Tour of the Mansion where you go through the five areas again, starting with Herman and then going to Raven, then Lily, then Spot, then Grandpa. But it's a multiball. It's a multiball, yeah. And you really want to do it with six-six scoring running. So you're telling me everything on this table you want to do with six-six scoring running. Yeah. Yep. Which is exactly, it looks like she's got two X's going right now. Yep. And it looks like, oh, no, she started enlarging Ray. That's so funny how you can get an award that you don't want. Yeah. But now you can't work towards your spot. Yep. But she's padding her lead, which is good. Each of these shots is giving her, you know. A Raven Super Jackpot. And she'll take it, right? With two times. And Eddie. And Eddie, yeah. With two times going. So. No, two millions. It is kind of fun, this game. The scores are pretty low. Like, I know a lot of scorns have inflated scoring. This one, you know, every million you get feels like an accomplishment. You're like, yes, a million. Yep. Yeah, I definitely felt the deflated walking away, and you only have, like, 148,000. That's the opposite, yeah. You tried your skill shot, but you missed it, and there's no ball save. Yeah. But then you can come back and do, you know, 24 million on one ball from, again, what you're telling me, jacking the plate goes up. Yeah. All right, two seconds left of the mode. Oh, timer had stopped, so we've got to hit a ramp. I'd probably shoot the left ramp here because it's the easiest, safest shot. Orbit's good, too. We get that nice control. Yeah. Again, we keep seeing that from Sunshine a lot, is just the control that she had. Yep. And a very good recovery. Really good recovery. Yeah, really good recovery. Great down the middle save, definitely. Okay, so back to normal play now. She knows exactly what she wants to do. Nice. Look at that. And it looks like you need, so either, if you guys know, talk to me a little bit, because we've got the spot flashing over here, but this one is not. So do we need to hit? Yeah, you have to hit the flashing one. So look at that. She post-passed it. Beautiful. Beautiful. And now she has fought two hits away Oh That it All right So she used that ball for good though She added some points put some more pressure on Rachel and now she just stands back and says you know I did my best Here we go. Let's see what you got. See what happens, yeah. Looks like, is that it? Oh, no. Oh, my goodness. Oh, man. Wow. That is it. That's rough. Yep, so that does mean that Sunshine is going to get this win, so that means Sunshine is going to be moving on. But a valiant effort made up by Rachel. Great job on Beatles. Good job on Beatles. And a special thanks to Bells and Chimes Columbus for sponsoring this and all the other sponsors. Chicago. Columbus. I'm saying that because I'm from Columbus. I do mean it. I'm sorry, guys. I really do mean Chicago. I don't mean it. I'm not trying to. Credit, credit, credit. Yes, Thousand Chimes Chicago. Both the game of the sea. I feel like eighth Ventura. Oh, yeah. I think we're all in it together. We are all in it together. But a special thank you to Thousand Chimes Chicago for sponsoring this tournament and all the other sponsors as well. And the fact that Rachel has been working for the past two days, busting her rear end and is still playing and managed to get in the top 16 is really amazing. Oh, yeah. And you have to know it's probably, yes, they've all been working really hard today, but also all of the planning and everything that has gone into making this happen, too. Really terrific. Has been terrific. And I think it's gone so smoothly. They've done such a good job. And, again, I can't thank any of them enough for all the work that they've put into running this. So, again, we just did watch Sunshine, Bon, and Rachel Kralik's final game. Sunshine is going to be moving on to the next round of the final. Top eight. To the top eight. Yeah. I don't know what that's called in basketball. That's the Elite Eight. No. That would be the Elite Eight. Yeah. Yeah. We're doing like March Madness, but it's October, so. Yeah. I don't know why I would bring that up. I think it's the quarterfinals. And then the. Semifinals. Semifinals and finals. Yeah. And then finals. So, yeah. She's into the quarterfinals. Perfect. So, it looks like our next. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Oh, no. I was going to say, it looks like our next game we're going to see some more Elvira. Yep. Lots of Elvira. Right, it looks like we've got Leslie Ruckman and Deborah Talman. Deborah, okay. You have Deborah Talman coming in for this, and this is going to be their first team. It looks like this may have been Deborah's pick, as Deborah is walking up first. I don't think that shirt's giving her enough credit. Okay. I believe if you could just see it when she walks away, it says something as well. Okay. Yeah. Props to the... the tournament for featuring I'm needed at the market booth so guys I'm going to hand off to you guys it was a pleasure talking to you guys thank you it's just you and me now okay maybe if we're able to see if maybe Rachel can join us yeah If not, I wouldn't mind scooting away from the sun. Oh, yeah, the sun that's over there? Yeah. I can scoot down. It is a very bright light. Yeah. You got room? There we go. Okay. Perfect. Thanks. Oh, and it does look like we got Leslie is coming up and playing right now. Oh, and this actually looks like it is their second game. So, Leslie did take the first game in their round. So, that would mean Debra picked this game. Yep. Which, if we could maybe logically deduce Debra playing first. But Debra may like to play first. You know, some people's strategy. But. So, like you said, it looks like that's exactly what Leslie is going for. That multiball that's right. No, no. Which room of the house would you call that? Uh, the, yeah, I don't know. That one right there. That one right there. That one right there. Ooh, and that's going to be such a great one. The Castle Lock. Castle Lock, yes. So it's like a medieval madness going on right now. All right, so both players kind of just setting up their game with their ball one. Nothing exciting starting yet. Oh. Oh, my goodness. Oh, wow. We have a ball thing. Is that infamous, like the light goes off and you think it's out, but then you get it back? Thank you, Lyman, for that. All right, one more shot to start the house mode. Not the house mode, not the house party, but a house mode. A house mode. Looks like it's the Washington one, maybe. It looks like the White House. Yeah. Watergate. Watergate. So she's going to try to stack the multiball with this mode. Oh, nice. That was exactly, the orbits were lit, now everything else is lit. Endeavor also, very much like Sunshine, is a very controlled, good save. I know she always gets very proud of me when she sees me nudging the table when it seems to me getting in danger. Got to tilt to try, or whatever they say. Tilting and trying. Yeah. Oh, and she has a floating head going on. She's got the floating head. Yes. It does remind me. This one looks like the wizard from The Wizard of Oz almost. It does kind of. All right. Is that multiball? No, ball one walk. Yes. All right. I think I'm going to rotate on off here. We've got Adam Lefkoff joining the booth. Hey, Ray. Hey, Adam. Say hi. I think you've got to scoot over to the camera here. Or not. Or not, yeah. All right, I'm going to say goodbye to you. All right. Nice to have you. Heading out, yes. Since you know what we got. Oh, you're heading out? You and me, yeah. Apologize to everybody while we switch up some commentators. here at the Expo 2019. We're watching the women's finals. I'm not sure which round we're in. First round, Carl D'Python Anghelo and all his wonderful equipment is telling me this is first round. And we have Debra Talman and playing Leslie Ruckman on Elvira. Hello. All right. That'll work as well. But your mic's going to be backwards. I see Kaylee also. Yeah, we're... Hey, Kaylee. How's it going, everybody? Playing some Elvira's House of Horrors. Latest game from Stern. What ball they're on? It's this really small box. It is very small. Can you tell what ball they're on, Kaylee? My old eyes are. What are the scores? Ball two. I'm guessing ball two. Definitely ball two because they both play. Hi, Chad. I'm the bride. I'm dressed as Elvira. And please tell us who you are. My real name is Rebecca. Hi, Rebecca. Hi. I'm Adam. Ooh, yes. We're being kind. Squish together. Squish. Don't really need to. Squish in. Yeah, be careful of my antennas. And, yeah, poke an eye out with that. Yeah, it's kind of a defense mechanism. What are you dressed as, Rebecca? I am the bride, dressed as Elvira, the bride of Pinbot. Bride of Pinbot. Yes. I don't get out much, so. And you've got. And Party Monsters is one of my favorite games, so. Awesome. And they're playing Elvira right now. They are, the third one. Debra's having a really good fall here. Hey, Pinball Nerd Podcast. Thanks so much. Kaylee, it looks like this is to start her third rune. Yeah, she'll want to shoot it up the middle in the house, start that mode. If she starts this, then she's guaranteed to have the next super mode lit on ball three. That is correct, yeah. So she's got that mode qualified at the center ramp. You can see that by the flashing mummy character up there. So you guys obviously have been able to play this game a little bit. I know it's brand new. It was quite exciting and also terrifying that it was in the tournament because there hasn't been a lot of experience to play it. Yeah, no, and it's definitely early code. Everybody's figuring it out, right? Yeah, so you guys, I mean, when I was playing it, I was basically trying to, the multiball is really nice and lucrative. It's somewhat of a low-scoring game to start until you kind of get things going. So I would always try and start a mode up in the house and then get a multiball going. So, you know, obviously if you can stack things, it's always great. It looks like she's got her wild women multiball. Is that what the first one's called? Yes. Yes, it is. And what's... You guys can't see her. You know, Cassandra is actually here in the building. Yeah, that's pretty cool. Right now... Did you meet her? I did. You know, I kind of did a creep, like sort of a creepster stood in front of her and was like, hello. And she waved me over and she took a picture with me. She was the sweetest, most amazing person. And it was great. That's awesome. So on this game, one of the things, the first multiball is nice, but really after you play three house notes, There's a Total Nuclear Annihilation-like mode where you can score many, many, many jackpots and get to $100,000, $150,000,000. Yeah, definitely much more lucrative than everything else we've seen in the game so far. Leslie's the nudge queen. So we're watching Leslie play, and she's from San Francisco. She is an amazing player, and she's just a nudge queen. There's a little warning there, but she's still working it out. The chat commented that the scoring seems close to Munster's, but maybe a bit easier. I'd say the scoring seems to come a little bit easier, but I'd say that this game is clearly not the dumpster fire that Munster's is. You know, I think Munster's gets more hate than it deserves. I think that the, you know, I actually picked Munster's quite a bit in the tournaments because I know people don't like it. and I actually kind of like it in a weird, sort of a weird way. Oh, man. I'm echoing through the room now. Hey, guys. You know, Kaylee, tell us what you really think about monsters. I think it's great. Well, I mean, obviously the main difference also is things are quite further back on the play field. I really noticed when I was playing Elvira that it's very open in the front, But it doesn't feel as backstacked as, say, something like The Hobbit or something where everything is on the very back. So we've got some fun backhandable shots. This example we're seeing here, we had two different ones, but one didn't quite make it, so we're all playing the same one now. When you hit the center shot and it comes around, it's Kip's and the left's playing. And so it's not super deadly, but it's a little scary as well. So she's on her second multiball now. This is, I believe, the zombie multiball. So she's kind of just going through, you know, it's sort of my strategy as well, especially if you don't know the game very well, is like, okay, figure out the multiball and just try and get as many multiballs as humanly possible. It's got your ball saver on. You've got a little bit of this sort of a relax because you don't have to be quite as tight with, you know, It's always nice. Yeah, when you have multiple balls in play, you don't feel like your impending death is coming at any time. Yeah, absolutely. Almost 17 million. Just trying to get the 17s gone. What is she trying to capture? This is ball three, right? She might have it. She has it in bonus. She might have it, yeah. Actually, this might still be ball two. I'm not quite sure what ball this is. It's hard to join a game. Ball two. Okay, good. Thank you. If only Stern would give us easy HDMI output. I believe there's a long thread on the Internet about that. And that's the danger of the center shot if it doesn't go all the way around. It can reject down the road. That ramp rejection can be brutal. You know, it's interesting. On this whole fiber, the left orbit seems a lot stranglier than most. It's coming off a post up there. Yeah, it hits this little top of one of the drop targets right where the junk in the trunk is. It kind of curves around and kind of bops over towards the, yeah, right in there. Yeah, just the pier is bouncing off that area. And then it just kind of comes right down into the, I've got the figure now. And then it's coming down this way. Yeah. Most of them would come down here and hit the slingshot like you were saying. Right. And it was earlier. Is it not doing that now? Let's see. Oh, yeah, I see what you're saying. Yeah, it's a little harder. Definitely friendlier than, I played it earlier today, and it was definitely still hitting that sling. So I think this is a huge stop right now. Nice. Oh, many, many good things here. Oh, but she's going after the regular multi. She's going after the multiball, yeah. Oh, there it is. Okay. No, but now she didn't start mode three on that last ball. No, this is mode three. So she's going to have to get through this one to get to the big points. All that needs to happen here is just to trap the ball and time the whole thing out. But the timer stops. Yeah, just, you know, all she's got to do is play some amazing pinball. It's funny. On some of these modes, like, you have to hit a shot to get the timer to go again, and then it resets the timer. It's like, no, go back to 15 seconds. When did that change? It wasn't that way yesterday. Well, it depends on what you're hitting. Like, you can hit the lock shot. That's not a lit. If you don't hit a lit shot, then you keep the timer going. Okay. But I'm sure, Kayla, you'll find some switches to hit that do not reset the timer. See, and I had so little experience with this game, I didn't even know about the whole three modes, and then you got the money shot. Thankfully, my son got to play a few games of it last weekend and gave me all the good knowledge. Very nice. Well, hopefully what Debra can do now is take the zombie multiball and just kind of finish off the, I believe the movie is Hand of Faith, perhaps. She's just stacked it with Junk in the Trunk multiball. Yeah. Is this her third multiball? She's stacked each of her modes with a multiball. Yeah, because she got Wild Women first. Now she's in the Zombie multiball. Now she's got the Junk in the Trunk happening simultaneously. And if she can get through this mode, then she's got the Big Super coming up. And when you complete a mode, a regular mode, There's a hurry-up built into the house as well. Ah, yes. It's a little, we're still working out the details on it, but I'm sure those in chat or the wiki on Tilt Forums has already been filled in. But this is a great play from Deborah right now. Yes, absolutely. Going to put a lot of pressure on Leslie for ball three to have to do the same. What's your score up to? Absolutely, 31-30. Yes, 31. It seems like there should be a stupor up there since that's where the ball two balls started. Yeah, I mean, this is probably early code. I'm assuming there's going to be a little bit more super jackpot fanfare coming in. With Lyman doing the software, there's going to be a lot of goodness. That's a nice laugh there. Very nice. Getting a little in-lane love. For those tuning in, this is fall three. This is the women's finals at the Pinball Expo 2019. This is the first ever women's pinball tournament here at the Expo, so it's been very exciting. Stern Pinball and Marco oh that's not true somebody's telling me that she won in 94 Alexa Parks Zach Parks this is the first one in this decade yeah it's been a long time it's been a long time even though Alyssa is still only 20 something 26 maybe 27 she won it when she was about 4 years old so now Kaylee All right. Good strategy. She trapped up. She took a breath. Sometimes when you're hitting that ramp and it just keeps going up and down and it's slow down, take a breath. She's still going for that. It's work for her. She's played three of them. Yeah, absolutely. So, I mean, sure, there's $100 million on the house right now, but at the same time, you go back to the locks. Yeah. Well, it's a pretty nice shot. You know, what's nice about the multiball shot is it is backhandable, so you can get it from both flippers. She had to hit it three times each time to light that lock, so that was nine hits. Yeah, well, the ramp's 100 million, but the lock could be anything. You know, I've seen Kaylee just do something over and over and over, and so long as it feels like a safe shot, like even if it's not all that valuable at the time, she's got that magnetic personality. I tried to back them up there, as you were saying. I like Chad is noticing that the gargoyles are flossing and dabbing in the background as she gets the, she's got the, what's it called, gargoyles gone wild mode. It's a lot of work to get to this multiball. Oh, yeah. The ironic thing is, of course, she's not going to be able to stack this mode with this multiball because that mode is a multiball. Well, we'll see if she will discover that. She's playing that long game though. She's getting it all set up and ready to go. Oh yeah. Those jumping gargoyles are nice. Very nice save. There's good rolls on this game. Like you don't usually, unless it goes halfway up the ramp, you generally can get a flipper on the ball from almost any other miss. Let's see what's right. Let's see what's right. The ramp on the screen is weird. It looks like it's reused from Rolling Stones. Is it? I don't know. It looks like it. Yeah. Wow. All right. He's got that multiball. Multiball number four. Four. Good stuff from Deborah. Really giving us a nice tour of how to pour. I didn't think you could get this many points without playing the fourth house. So Kaylee had mentioned a little earlier that there's a play field multiplier. It's a 2X and a 4X. Okay. And the way you light it, it's kind of like Iron Maiden in that you can light it on an in lane and control when you pull the trigger, kind of control it. So like that, you have to finish both banks. both the right and the left bank of targets? Is that the double trouble is what it's called in the name? Oh, I didn't know there were names for the banks. Yeah. Right bank and left bank. Call that one, you know, the pair of shot for the left bank, and I don't know what we call the right bank. All right. I'm not a fan of these multiplier rules that just kind of complete themselves. I'm not really seeing a lot of people this weekend skillfully like those multipliers and skillfully collect them on purpose. At least you can skillfully choose when to pull the trigger on it. You think she's going to... So there's these modes on the... That's the scary kick-out from the... Is it a trunk or what is that? That is a terrifying kick-out. The trunk's on the left. So that's the crypts. Ah, the crypts. Yes. And so that's where the deadheads are. Makes sense. She's got that running now. House is open, so she's got that mode just blinking at her. Boom. There she goes. Okay, so think Total Nuclear Annihilation. Every shot, which currently doesn't actually score anything, adds to the jackpot shot, which is on the house. And so she hasn't hit one yet. As soon as she hits one, but you can hit multiple shots, and then you cash it in on the house. There's not a technical add-a-ball, but what you can stack with this is the trunk multiball mode, which you light on the three targets on the left. And I don't think she's pulled the trigger on that, so she could. She has one more light to go. Oh. So that was disappointing. I've definitely been there before where you get the multiball, you're like, okay, take a sigh of relief, and then you just can't find those ramp shots and can't quite get there. Absolutely. We feel like there should be a Bowden term where you celebrate getting to the multiball, and then you don't get a single jackpot. Well, and that's why some of those games, you know, I mean, obviously, since we were talking about Munsters, how, you know, Raven can be a bit brutal. Very nice. Very nice ball. I've never seen that many multi-balls in this game before. She has put up a hefty score that Leslie's going to have to come back for. But it's doable. Definitely doable. We watched going into ball three, Deborah was about the same as Leslie starting. So it is doable. I was going to try and draw on the screen, but the screen's too small for my old man eyes. So this will be the start of Mode 3, and it looks like she's going to, oh. That was a bad break. Yeah, it was. Great game. So what do we know? Was that Game 1? Game 1 in the match, Carl, or do we know what? That was Game 2. Who won Game 1? Leslie, or? Oh, it'll tell us on the screen. Oh, Leslie won Game 1. So, Debra, best of three, and the loser of the previous game gets to choose next game. So it's Leslie's choice now. You guys are seeing this is the Elvira launch party at the 2019 Canine Expo. I can't see her. I believe Cassandra is just off to the left of the screen. Now we got some. We need a Cassandra. We got a moto right up here in the front here, just arranging the screen very nicely for us. Where is the moto? So I don't even know if it's somewhere over there in the next room over. Yes. Again, all of this wonderful video and audio is brought to you by Karl DeAngelo, Never Drain, i.e. pinball. Yes. The finest pinball resource in the universe as far as I'm concerned. You know, and Never Drain was a lifesaver for this tournament this year. It was so nice to just be able to queue up and qualify. We're in this really great room that the Marco and Stern guys put together for us. Have you played in other Expos before? This is actually the first flip-out tournament. I've always come to the Expos, but when it was in the hallway and the line was all the way down. I was going to say, in the old days. You've got to wait in line. The Expo line was, I don't even know how to describe it. It was too intimidating for me. I was like, I'm not good enough to wait in line for two hours when there's three games in the other room. But this one was great. So you could queue up. You know, a lot of the games, there were two of each game, so things went quickly. Very few technical issues, though. So now it looks like it's Leslie picked Deadpool. Actually, Leslie's one of a friend of mine, and she did say that she loves Deadpool, so this is not a surprise for me. She has her little Deadpools ready, and now she's going to bring a mode in. Kaylee, what mode would you bring in with little Deadpool? You want to bring in Colossus. I agree. Absolutely. That's the suckiest mode. It's the targets. You want to be a multiball when you're shooting targets. Yeah, nobody wants to shoot targets in single-ball play. Very well done. That's a perfect first. Yeah. That's the right rollout. Yep. Absolutely. And it can be hard because little Deadpools sometimes will start on its own before it's ready if it gets stuck on one of the drop targets. Yeah. Yes, I think you'd say optimal strategy would be you roll right out of this right into shooting disco loops. Disco loops because this is the pro. So the first mode is the disco multiball, which you can parlay into 150, 200. Easy. Absolutely. Go from there. If you play another mode, get your saber tooth done. And maybe get some locks and do a little town of time. Then you're into mech suit. Yep. Then you're starting. Oh, that. Talk about another game with terrible multiplayer rules on Deadpool. We know how you feel about the SNCC targets. Yeah. Let's just fire balls randomly at the play field. Maybe we'll be playing everything at 5x. Maybe you'll be happy to know this stick target doesn't ever. Everyone's playing 1x the whole time. As it should. As it should. Which just makes Keith Elwin's or all the billion scores really impressive. We need games like Whitewater, Indy 500, where you get one shot, you know, like pull your trigger on your giant multiplier at the right time. And if you blow to the wrong fan, you're done. So, oh. That was rough. That's a rough. Now, I know you guys may have played the Deadpool in the main tournament. There were two Deadpools in the main. The women's Deadpool was playing very different. Clearly. Clearly. The rubbers on the flippers are very dead. Foss. Very foss. Yes. So, there's not a lot. There's a lot of. Not a lot of. The swings are definitely nastier. Yes. So that's a... That was a nice little doofus in there. Yeah. Sort of the best miss of the lock shot right up into the battle. Absolutely. So this is actually a good choice also if you're planning to go... Oh, actually, you can't make progress on disco during a character battle. That is correct. That is a danger. This is ball two in the women's final. And this is game three, so this is for all the marbles. Yeah, this is to get through to the next round. This is it. This is it, kids. Not a lot in it yet. Leslie had that nice back at the start, but wasn't able to cast it in very well. The multiball here can never ever really happen. It's all in front of her. Do you like the skill shot, Kaylee, off the plunge? The ball save's on. Why not? Hell, man, go for it. The ball save is on, yeah. You know, I can never quite get that skill around, so I always just kind of go for the safe shot. What's the safe shot? Well, I usually do the skill shot up in the lane, the far left one, and you can do kind of a half plunge. I get it about 85% of the time. It'll just kind of bounce and sort of roll in there. It's not for a crazy amount of points, but two and a half million sometimes will give you a little bit of an edge. So Debra got her first lock. Looks like a pretty smooth roll. She's getting some spins now. We see she has 54 spins to go. The center spinner doesn't count. It's only the left spinner. I don't see anybody like their chimichangas yet. No, there hasn't been much chimichanga action. I believe they're chimichangas. Maybe that's from where you're from. Yeah, it's like a potato patata. You've got to say it like you're from the Midwest. I'll say it like Jimmy Changus. The Jimmy Changus? Jimmy Changus. All right. We'll play some Jenga with some Jimmy Changus. Oh, with a Jenga. I like that. The kick out from the scoops, pretty nice. Looks like Debra's trying. Oh, man, the slings are nasty on this side. They're cool. All right. Is 20 million going to be enough? One ball game? It's always nice to have a lead, any lead, going into ball three. Absolutely. As we joke with Escher, there's a universe where I don't have to do anything else, and I would. Sometimes the universe is easier when the scores are so close. Yeah. Over-analyzing at 13 million points on Deadpool. Yeah. But also, just goes to tell you, even really great players, you know, if the game is not being friendly, you know, you can win it off of 20 million on Deadpool. We saw it. We've seen some Jurassic Park games where the winner won with 20 million. Yeah. And everyone's getting big, huge, multiple hundred million starting qualifying. When you're playing head-to-head, it's much different. Yep, lovely. One danger. That's nice. The tilts, obviously, are pretty tight, you know, tournament. Yep, that was a lovely save. It was a nice little. Extra ball is worth what on Deadpool? I have no idea. Not many points. I'd say probably about five million. I'm completely guessing, though. Ten million? Hey, Dalton. from Georgia outside of... Dolan's right 80% of the time, 100% of the time. So I can agree he's correct. There's a lot of that halfway up that, you know, I know there's a... George Gomez has a phrase for this, the locked ramp. I can't remember what it is. It's that kind of backwards, forwards. No, I don't think that's what it is. Cool ramp. The chat has solved a mystery. It's Chimichanga. Chimichanga. Chimichanga. I'm not familiar with the comic book. Yeah, I don't know what it's about. Let's see here. Spins. 34 spins. Uh-oh. Look out for those wings. Oh, my gosh. It's funny how some games, the cadence of the swings are, They'll never kill you and other games. They will this thing pretty much 100% All right, so Deborah knows exactly what she needs if she could get it two more locks I think that multiball would Oh, there's the Jimmie Chagas. There's the double danger. Battle down. So she nearly had the combo. If you do a right orbit and then into the lock shot. Yeah, what's the right strat here? I think regular multiball. I like what she's doing. Not just like Sabretooth. Dumb. One ball play. I will never know. That's a rough trade. Great match. So Leslie moves on. Oh, look at that. We got our brackets. The next round. Are we playing this whole thing tonight? It looks like she'll be playing Tracy in the next round. Yes, we are playing the entire. We're being told to scooch. Yeah. Oh, I don't have much. Oh. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay. Do you want to stay in the middle? We can switch. Yeah. No worries. Test, test, test, test. So I'm looking over to Carl, but Carl is on break. That's the only problem with Carl. He's always taking breaks. He's never working. Hey, man. He's a teamster. I'm on break. Team Carl, I can't imagine the hours he's put in. Since the wise, you are right. These ladies do know how to play some pinball. It's no joke. So we're looking at the bracket now. We've got round two, Leslie and Tracy, Christine and James. It looks like there is another round in round one with Anna and Alyssa, so I'm assuming that's the next one we're going to be watching. All right. Ticket on to round two. Alyssa was the person that won the last time the women's was here at the Expo. 1994 season. 1994, yes. So Alyssa goes way back. Former champion. Yep. Anna is also a powerhouse. She is local here to Chicago. So lots of Chicago ladies. Where are you from? I'm from Chicago as well. So you know all the Chicago players. Yes. But you didn't know Alyssa. Alyssa Parks lives in Chicago. I do. Yes. I do know Alyssa. Okay. But you also had your friend from San Francisco. Yes. Leslie used to live here. Oh, okay. So she's a transplant. And now she lives in San Francisco. But I also have a friend from San Francisco. So here's Anna Neal. Oh, it's one-to-one. This is game three on Star Wars. Oh, nice. The real, the full Star Wars, not the home edition. We have both models in both journeys, I believe. Nice. Nice job out there. Uh-oh. That looks like every other. All right. So we are on ball two. Psych Ball 2, 1 to 1. This is for all the marbles on the ground. Do you want to switch? We're getting booted. You can say goodbye before you go. We're going to switch out with some new commentators. It was lovely chatting with you guys. Thanks for being on the mic. I know my dagger probably fell. I know. Everyone, stand up. I'm completely ready to take this. What are you doing? I'm going to take my ring off. Thank you. We've got a production going. That was fun. We're going to have that show right there, okay? We'll get this stuff on. Not on yet. Oh, there we go. Hey, Deborah Tolman, straight off your nice match with Leslie. Very close, well contested. You played a lot of multiballs on that Elvira. Yeah, I played a lot of multiballs on that Elvira. And then you got to the good multiball one. Elvira, let me tell you about something about Elvira. She liked multiple jackpots. I've heard that. Yeah, so I wanted to make sure I gave them to her. So introduce ourselves here in the booth. Expo 2019. I'm Adam Lovegolf along with... Debra Tallman. Tabitha Borisman. Where are you from, Tabitha? Chicago and Iowa. Local? Midwest. I live in Chicago now. I'm from all the places. Yeah. I've lived in Chicago the longest I've ever lived anywhere, so that's now my place. I'm from Ostrander currently, but originally from Minnesota, so I feel you. Oh, a lot of Midwest going on. That is true. That's where we pinball. I mean, it is in the Midwest, though. Denver and the Midwest. That's where pinball happens. I agree. That sounds about right to me. According to this table. So this is game three of the first round, the last first round match. And Anna and Alyssa. And Anna had a rough first ball. Actually, nope, it was better than I thought. Is this ball three? I can't tell you this. I have old man eyes. Ball two? Ball two. Oh, good. So we've got some more pinball to. I mean, call three and change anything. In the team. Can you, I just, I'm having, can we hear you? Oh, here? Ooh. There we go. There we go. Now I'm loud. Oh, gee. Oh, that was rough. And in Elisa fashion, creeped out and walked away. Is this the sniggly limb rocket? Yes, it's best two out of three. No double limb, just single. Okay. I can't tell. No, that was exactly right. All right. This will be ball three, player one. Player one. Going for the TIE fighter. TIE fighter strat. She's bouncing back so fast. All right. She was careful to hold it. I tend to go a little bit nuts and just smack it right away. Me too, which is probably why I am sometimes bad at this game. All right, so what are the shots on TIE Fighter multiball? Is this shot going for TIE Fighter? Yeah. Well, you can shoot the three bank, of course, which gets kind of double value in this mode because one of them is lit for TIE Fighter. Oh, no. That was a bad bit of rush. I'm sorry. I should have started the rules quicker. Yeah. Everyone out of the pool. We have so many different terms because it happens so often. I know it's a Drainian. No, I've heard of a Dreamboat. That's one of the Donovan Steps original. Did you say Dreamboat? Drainboat. Oh, Drainboat. Yeah, we're like bouncing off of something. Dreamboat is good. That's bad. Just fails to an outlay. All right. So your two ball three is just for it. She needs about $150 million. And let's see. She's playing. She's going to take out the Death Star. Oh, actually, she's ready to party. Uh-huh. So she just needs. All people should do it. So in the Death Star, you need to go ramp, ramp, Death Star, then either ramp, Death Star, and then ramp, ramp, Death Star to kill it. That was too easy. It's only five shots, three Death Star shots. Either of you play this one? I usually play Han to Haw. How's the backhand of the Death Star shot? Oh, you're talking about the specific machine? It was doable. It was catching up on the gate a little bit a couple times for me. But if you hit it clean, you get it. She didn't get her add-a-ball in that multiball. You've got to drop all the force targets. I was going to say, in order to get it, do all the force targets go up at the beginning of the multiball? And then you have to hit them five times? Is that right? You have to hit each one. Oh, okay. But often in ball save, you end up getting it for free. Okay. You know you've got it when your button in the middle turns orange. It starts glowing. There's nothing better than seeing that orange glow when you still got ball save going. Hello, friends. Normally, a flashing orange light is bad, but in this case. All right. She's keeping in it. Oh, it's going to be really close. Nice hyperspace start shot. So for the indoor mode she's trying to do, you need to do both. Oh, no. She had the hyperspace ready. She had the hyperspace ready. It's always hard when it goes way down that ladder. No bonus. It does it so easily in the game, though. That's it. Yeah. So that was pretty exciting. That happens. What's the next game? Oh, okay. We're going to switch out yet again. We're losing Adam. Adam, thanks for coming. Hey, thanks for having me. And we've got a lot of pinball going on the rest of the weekend. Yeah, we do. Nice chatting with you guys. Where are you in the main bracket? I'm in the final. I'm on the winner's side. I'm playing Keith Bellwood in the morning at 10 a.m. I'm coming up for that. I hear he's pretty good. I hear he sucks. I'm going to look up his resume and see how he's doing. Yeah, yeah. and watch some video. I doubt he... Don't worry. He's not very good. Oh, excellent. That's good to hear. Yeah, yeah. He's too busy... He's a local guy. He's too busy building pinball machines to be good at pinball. That's how it works. Is that Keith Owen who makes pinball machines? I heard something. Oh, okay. I heard his brother hit Randy's pinball. Randy Owen. Wait, good at pinball or good at making pinball machines? Both. Both. I got to meet that guy. I got to take that guy out for a drink. All right. Have fun, guys. All right. See you, Adam. All right. So are you excited to be here? I'm excited to be here. I just want to know. I'm wondering if anybody that ever built a pinball machine ever built something secret into their machine. Ooh. Oh. That, like, maybe they only know about. Yeah. Builders of pinball machines make secret things inside of pinball machines? That only they know. That's probably not a thing. Yeah. Yeah. Never. We'll say that's never a thing. Hello. I want to know more about the secrets of Elvira. I do like that game. Yes. I'm not very good at it. Hello. Let's get an introduction from Erin. Erin. Hello. Hello. Hello. I'm Erin. She is. We've been told. And where are you from? I'm from here, Chicago. Chicago. Yeah. Have you been on the mic already and said all these things? No. Okay. Great. Thank you. Not duplicating the conversation. Not at all. Are you excited about the tournament? Yeah. Is it good for you? Yeah. It's been a great tournament. What's the best part so far? Missed top four by one game. Oh. So the back story worked. But it was also the best. Okay. It's nice to have four tournaments this year. Last year and years before, it had been just classics and Maine. And Maine had two divisions, sure. But it had just been that. And now we have kids this year, which is what, starts tomorrow? Is that right? I think so. We have a women's division. And there was a ravenous grab at getting those points and qualifying. Yeah. We all wanted it. We petitioned for getting a 16-person bracket instead of an 8-person because we want to play pinball. And there were a lot of ladies that showed up for it, too, so it qualified for it. Yeah, there was a lot of players who easily done the 16. We had about 40 or a little bit over. Okay, so Tracy Abrams. I'm going to say her last name wrong. Tracy. We're going to stick with Tracy. She is in the Austin Bell. Who is Abrams? She's in the Austin Bell? Is she in Texas? Yeah. We came to our local Chicago Logan Square Bells and Chimes on Wednesday and played as a guest in our number six time tournament. Oh, that's excellent. Yeah, anybody can buy in. Even if you don't play the whole season, you can throw out $5 and play for the night. You can play for money. So you're saying this is something that any woman can take advantage of when they're in Chicago? Yeah. Yeah, look at Bells and Chimes at Logan Square. We're always there every other Wednesday, and there's Black Wednesday of the month as a tournament as well. But there's also plenty other pinball going on tournament-wise. Facebook? Yeah. Where do people go to find this information? Yeah. It's on Instagram and also on Facebook. Okay. Yeah. It's Belton Times Chicago. Belton Times Chicago. Look that up. Yeah, we're both in them. Yeah, Belton Times Chicago. Awesome. Yeah. All right. So we've had a ball each from Leslie and from Tracy. I think we've got Tracy coming back up to bat. ball too. Those are pretty short balls. Yeah. But like really the whole game can turn around a ball three. I'm curious what the strategy is going to be. There's strategy sure because there's a lot of modes and a lot of things they can get. There's almost too much strategy. You can still easily get a bad bounce on this game though too like you can not hit it at all and then have a 40 million dollar 40 billion dollar 40 million point ball the next ball. So what is Tracy's goal here? So she's playing later right? Yeah. Do you know that one better than I do? Leia, I mean, you know, you watch the dead flip and you kind of know some things. But if you hit, you know, you can backhand that ramp all day long and qualify four times. And you can start Leia and you can start some modes. And you can start Endor. You already have another one spotted. So she started two modes. Yes. Yeah. All right. So I think you automatically get spotted. I want to say you can get spotted maybe Death Star. Okay. I want to say. So immediately when you're going into it, you're mode heavy. Yeah. Okay, that's good to know. Oh, that was straight down the middle. That was a little bit of a, it's not a dream bow, more like a horseshoe. I haven't thought of a cute little thing for that yet. Something like alley-oop. Yeah, isn't it alley-oop? That's your alley-oop. Alley-oops? Yeah. I still haven't mastered the move where you can, like, bounce it back just right against the back of it, and it'll come back up. Where? Can you do that with this table? For which? Same again? Yeah. I know there's a move where you can bounce it on the back, and I've been trying it with a few different tables, like after it goes past the flippers, and then you can bounce it forward again. Oh, you're talking about, yeah, like after it's already gone past the point of no return, and it comes back and sees you again? Oh, yeah, that's kind of not legal. I managed to do it, yeah, once. Yeah. I mean, we're in a tournament space. That's true. Just some quick ball games. Private, random gameplay only. I saw Leslie kill it on Star Wars when we played it. She got over a billion. Really? She's an incredible player. Yeah, she's very good. Yeah. Very good. Absolutely. I have it on everybody's authority. I was getting text messages, you're playing Mad Men's Resort. Yeah. You're like, great, thanks. I'm about to play her. Yeah. When she was in the Bells and Shines here in Chicago before she moved up to San Francisco, I remember beating one of her top scorers, and I was like, I know how to play pinball. Yeah. It was the qualifier for how to know. I can finally say that I know how to play pinball, which probably means that you're better than G.Zell at this point. No. No, I think it does. Sure. No. No. All right. So going back to the game here Yeah We do have another ball right I think so Maybe they talking about something Maybe something happened I not sure what happening I don know They not telling us Moving her hands very adamantly Adamantly. Okay, both players are stepped away from the machine. So, you know what? We should talk about things. What should we talk about? That's what good commentators do. Do they? How long have you been playing pinball? A little over two years. Over two years. And you? Three years. Three years? I don't know for me. It's been about three, I would say. Which is interesting. I think that highlights a big part of why we're having a tournament this year, because there's a lot of people relatively fresh into it. Yeah. And we're hardcore into it once we get in. It's true. It's a little bit of an addiction. Okay, so maybe I was miscounting balls. I think that's where I was at. Well, they're on Deadpool. We're on Deadpool now. Okay. Time to pay attention. All right. time to pay attention. Alright, Tracy's starting immediately with a moan. We'll see what she goes for. Little Deadpool. I have such a problem for getting in the sword. I've had bad luck. If I don't already accidentally-ish start Little Deadpool, it hasn't been working out for me to pull that in after the fact. She did a strong move in Great Salt Lake. Yeah, it's very sensitive. Something I like about Tracy's move, as a player, she's pushy, which I like. So many tables are thinks of it now, though. I just try not to evenly, because there are tables that you just lean forward on them and don't even tilt them at all and just. Sometimes it's a hard flip. Yeah, you flip it hard while you're leaning against it. No, bye. Not great. Oh, we have commentators. Look at Fred Richardson in the background. He's such a mellow, chill guy. That's true. All right, we're letting it chill out for a moment. Deadpool wants us to begin play. He popped up on the screen demanding play. Keith and Elvira would get along, I think. I feel like maybe they're already best friends and we don't know it. You don't think he would annoy her? She would tolerate him because he would make her laugh sometimes. She has the power in that relationship. Sure. Fair. Yeah. And if he could provide multiple jackpots, and I think he can, she's all about it. That's okay. She would rate it as well. Embrace the jackpots, especially the super jackpots. All right, we've got Leslie. We've got Leslie. Nice. Very nice. She's going for the Ninja Apocalypse. Let's see if I can get it. Oh, we've got a little bit of a lag on the screen. I'm sorry, y'all. All right. She could easily get. Oh, that's probably. Can I do it? There we go. There we go. She got a little bit. She knew. She knew she had no more space to make a move after that. Okay, these are also ridiculously low scores because these games are ridiculously high tilt sensitive. Yeah, it's really true. The women's league was highly tilt. I have to tell you, I blame Lindsay Rogers, and she knows I do because I approached her about it. She's a player. She's a high-end player, and she went, oh, tilt all the way up. I mean, like, if you breathe on monsters, it was going to tilt you out. If you looked at it funny, it tilted on you. It's true. That was James' thing. Just don't whine about it. It's going to tilt you out. Play better. Steve Ritchie knows what to tell you. Play better. You're a finger tip. You're a finger tip. Like, kick it up. All right. Coming in. We've got a ball. Coming back around. All right, Tracy. What are you going to show for us? We'd like to see some modes started. There's great stacking opportunity in Deadpool. That was a beautiful catch. Yep. And you can backhand that mode start shot that scoops so easily, too, in this game. All right, she's got little Deadpool begun. Three points. Will she try to bring in a mode? Ooh. Ooh. Almost went up there anyway. It was ready to help her out. Yeah. Okay, let's see that mode coming in. There it is. And she goes with Juggernaut. Interesting. I always go Sabertooth. I do Sabertooth, then I do Mystique. Sabertooth and Mystique. If I qualify enough, I do Meg with that. Yeah. Yeah. Wow, we are kind of the same class. That is the thing. Okay. Okay, so now she's hitting strong shots while she's got her ball saver on. Those slings are pretty evil on this game, too. Yeah. Nice. They can be really active. Ah, that was a quality move. Hold that right trap. Nice. Good control. Ooh, nice. Beautiful. She traveled a long way, a lot longer than the rest of us. Oh, that was an attachment. That was a mean. That was not cool, Deadpool. No. All right, she's got another ball in the loop. I'm assuming that was... Oh, no, it didn't lock. Did it lock? I don't think it did. It kind of is a little Deadpool. Does it have a virtual look? Well, I think in Little Deadpool, and I could be wrong about this, maybe someone on chat knows, I don't think you can lock balls in Little Deadpool because it's already a multiball. Yeah, that might be true. Which means, I mean, effectively she was done, so she got robbed twice. She has a lot of things ready to go. She's got Juggernaut. Just collected. There it is. All right, 32 million is points. That's points. That's what we want. All the points. Good coin trades. I also love her hair. That's neither here nor there, but I can always find her in the room. Style in general. It's a great style. That's what Rena just said, that she just wishes she could rock her clothes. It did count a lot. I mean, she definitely is rocking the, like, fabric, multicolored shirt and bell bottoms like often you would. Allison's a stylish town, guys, girls. Yeah. I love often. Yeah, that's great. I'm going to take a going there in the summer once and I will not do that one again. Oh, because it's summertime. Okay. It was pretty much the hottest thing I've ever experienced in my life. I'm about to make another Elvira joke. It's just not okay. I mean, I think you should. It's the right day for it. I think you should. She's in the frenzy mode, yes. Little Deadpool frenzy. Did I catch that right? It looks like it locked up in Little Deadpool. She's also got Wolverine, so now we're stacking. Now we're pointing. Oh! That was also a bit of an alley-oops. That was actually an alley-oops. It was an unfortunate fifth. Which will happen, because sometimes you just got to save it. Sometimes it goes straight out the outlet. You're like, I assisted. You're welcome. Anything to help. Yeah. That was very, very nearly a super skill shot. Yeah. Trying again. Got the lock. Ooh. Get the lock. Very close. She knows exactly what she wants. The left flipper has been... Ooh. Ooh. That was a good save, though. Hold it. Is it? Stop it. We're stopping. Give it a second. We're up there for a second. I've noticed this about Leslie, though. She doesn't tend to stop after a danger. She just keeps going. She's a wild woman. She's a wild woman. She's unruly. Nice. All right. Yeah. So that left flipper is not having the easiest time getting up the left ramp. Some of the other Deadpool games in the main tournament have been a little more forgiving and stronger. So getting up that ramp and getting those balls is A-OK on this particular Deadpool. Michael, what's on? Oh, she's going to be wrecked. You know, in honor of Jurassic Park for that guy that doesn't play pinball well. Yeah. All right, I want to see. Okay. I do not believe. Oh, she missed out. That'll happen. I was going to ask if Wolverine had already been long gone, or if anything else had already been, if she had been stacking at that point, or if things had timed out. I don't think so. I could be wrong. Are we at ball three now? Let's see, right? Moving on. Yeah. This is ball three. Yep. This is quite literally for all of the marbles. Maybe. But this is another one though, just like Star Trek where you could very easily on your last ball just get a significant amount of points and characters. Star Trek, Star Wars, Deadpool, Avira. Right before the ball. It's anybody's game. Oh, oh. Oh, that's unfortunate. Yeah, that cuts it down. The bounces are whipped fast on this. I mean, it's always fast. Yeah. So Leslie's got an opening. Will she walk through it? So, Leslie's also coming from Seattle? She's coming from San Fran. San Fran, I'm sorry. That's right. It started with an S. Yes. In California. Who's in Seattle, California, right? One guy. As far as anybody knows. Oh, that was a bad one. No, that's too bad. She didn't catch her. Okay. I don't believe that, no. So, what does that mean for us? That means Tracy's moving on to play Jane. Good job, Tracy. Good job. The Austin team shows up and scores. Straight up. Austin's going to love that. I know a couple people in Austin are probably jumping up and down a little bit. I'm just laughing at the face you were making. What was the face? Where was the face? There was the face. There was the face. It was great. I'm not looking at you. It's a very happy, very proud face. Yeah, I was happy, proud, and maybe a little bit nervous. I would like to think that I stopped him, probably, and made it so it happened. I like to think. It's like, I'm losing the jar for you. Probably not true. I'm just asking you if that would happen. That would be fair. We did take to three. We exhausted each other. I'm a little too tough. I'm a little fuckered. Well, you were killing it, too. Yeah, I was doing main and running a tournament. It's fine. Yeah, this is the fun stuff. Yeah, yeah. It's what you look for, right? It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. and they're playing in the tournament. And it's very difficult to do well in a tournament that you are also running effectively. I'm very sure that at some point there will be bad actors who will do things that they shouldn't be doing, and I'm sure they'll be found out and penalized appropriately. But truly, to run a good tournament, it takes a physical toll. And competing despite that is an effort. Yeah, it's definitely a learning skill to do all of those at the same time. Is it a learning skill? Okay, I've still got a lot of learning to do. I feel like, yeah, especially the larger tournaments. Like the smaller ones. What's your tournament experience in terms of? I've run a few here and there. Yeah, but Anna kind of took over for most of the tournaments. I was like, we should run more tournaments. And Anna's like, I'm going to do it. So she just runs a tournament like every other month, really. We all have our skills. Jane and I were talking about it. She's like, she does so well when she runs those tournaments. Because half your brain is thinking about other things. Oh, right. You can't avoid it. Yeah. Or, you know, six people pulling Elizabeth Cromwell in Pittsburgh knows full well what it's like to be yanked 25 different directions. A hundred percent. And for you, tournament runner? No. Really? I'm a tournament participator. Well, I mean, I help out people, but I don't run. Okay. Well, we need to. It's definitely something I feel like I could be good at because I'm like the most organized person in the world. But. That's true. I'm also the busiest person in the world, and I don't think I could possibly take anything like that off. Maybe in the winter. Yeah, winter. My off season. Like your winter clothes. Take out your winter tournaments and put them away in the spring when you're too busy. But I also like to just not worry about it when other people do it for me. You're missing out on all the fun. Yeah. Okay. What are we looking at? Looks like Chase and Tracy are chatting. This is exciting. Oh, Beatles. Oh, this team is so tough. It's too fast. I saw a lot of qualifiers that were getting into three million. For me, it's Mr. Vine. I don't particularly do well on Beatles. I don't particularly like it. I need one of my better scores today, though. Three million? All right, what's she picking? A little over two million. That would be... Oh, is that the drop target? No, Lou Mania. It says on the screen. All I have to do is read it. I always do that one first, too. I do it fall, too, because I want to see where my loops are at first. I start with pop-up players. Oh. Yeah. Yeah. Start with pops because I'm pretty sure I'm going to get those no matter what. Yep. And it's an easy game to just get simple, simple nudges on because as soon as you do that, you can just get to, like, the fourth level super fast. Yep. And then just finish that out. I haven't figured out the simple, simple nudges when it comes to when the ball gets into the in-lane, out-lane area. That's where I simple nudge myself into a left out-lane, right out-lane every time. You know what? I watch it to see where it's going. and if I see it It's so easy when you say it like that. Well, make sure to be a little away. Just hit the ball when it gets to the top. I'm just talking about fetal time too. Okay. If it gets close I just be like, okay, you know what, just one more nudge. Jane's in it. Oh, close on the skill shot. Oh, it's beautiful. She got the secondary skill shot and that was nice. The pops, right? Is that the pops there? Is that what they're flashing? The pops or is that drops? So that's safe. Got the pops. I'm pretty sure the pops is the right. Yeah, they're flashing. She's coming up, getting some more. She's already at level 2, that's what I'm talking about. Level 3! Level 3! Can we have a level 4? Do I get a level 4? You know, if you hit that spinner shot too well, you're going to do it right past the boss. 4, 4, 4? Is she already in 4? She is. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. I can't tell. Oh, see? What happened to her? That happens to them all the time. If you let these games settle and you don't touch the nuts, don't touch it at all. Don't do anything? Don't do anything. It will fall right where it needs to in that in-line. I hate you for sticking with what is probably the truth. I played this about seven times today, and I won all seven times. Oh, I see. I'm going to keep this in mind for the next match-up. Yeah. Next time we're in Chicago. Yeah, you know. All right, we've got small scores, but we can get them big. We've just got to finish a couple levels. She's thinking about it. She's thinking about it. What did she choose? We're about to see. The screen is about to tell us the magical truth. Oh, she's far. Flute mania. Super spinners. Tickets arrived. She got it. I never do the super spinners because I hardly... I know you can really do that shot very easily from that left flipper, but... I hit them very well as long as I'm not in this mode. Yeah. Gorgeous. Yeah. Pop bumpers, hit those spinners. I only get that sweet spot when I, doesn't matter if I do. Loops, hit that spinner. I'm always like, hit those loops. So I'm in pop bumpers. Cool. Cool. See, she should be in loops. Oh, there she is. Look at that. Yeah. Still points. Still points. See, but that does that to me, too. If I get it, the loop's going really good, and then I miss it just right. And then it goes flying to the left. It's just right on the left. Yeah. Also, nothing that ever happens to you, because you win all seven times. I don't know. I got a few more on the right. That's how I learned. If you just let it settle. All right, Jane. Skill shot. Skill shot. There she goes. She didn't. She didn't all her things. There it is. She's not in loop, is she? Is she not? Is she in the spinner? She's in the spinner. Oh, she's in the fins. She's in the fins. Level two to the fins. Tickets are right. Spin, fin. Spinny spin. Cradle up. That's fun to say. Ooh, gorgeous. Ooh, nice spin. Watch that trollboarder. Nice spin. Nice. And she's still alive. That's subtle, Jane. This is the Jane I know. Ooh, look at that spin. That was worth it. It was worth it. It was worth it. Every nun. Yeah. Score. Score. She pulled a lot of points out of an unforgiving bout. Jane is... I mean... I don't like how good she is. It makes it difficult to play her. She has been playing just slightly over me. Like, in terms of time... She's better than Keith Elwin, too. That's what I'm getting out of this. I don't know. I would like to see it, though. Probably. She said this to me. She goes, oh, does Star Wars Home Edition? Well, I saw that Keith set up, like, 10, and so I thought, well, if I could have that, that's pretty good. And she's like, and so I did. And I was like, that's execution right there. And she was only doing that because she was clearly half, I don't know if we can say that other word, half-sleeping it on, I don't know if you can say that on a stream. Can you say that? Half-buddying it? She was half-buddying it. She got $5 million. That's how good she is. Because she puts her mind to it, and she executes it. That's Jane. Jane is very determined. So Tracy's got her work cut out for her. She travels very far, but she's not going to get it handed to her. It's a good match. This is where we start team multiball. See, she did nothing. She's not being indecorated about the right. Because she was waiting for that other ball to launch, and she didn't want to get a toe warning. Sure. Okay. But you said no. I didn't say during multiball, though. Oh, I see. I see. Multiball, anything goes. Yeah. It's just different things. And notice there's two balls on the play field. All the rules changed. Not all the rules, but the table does act a little differently when there's multiballs in play. Okay. Or about the launch. Do we understand the dynamics? She's doing a great job of it. Do we understand the dynamics of the Beatles multiball? Is it not hitting that loop or getting enough switches? Now the jackpot lit. She didn't jiggle it, and it stayed in play. You're right. You were always right. No, I'm never right. She just got the add-a-ball. Just right there. She's doing so well. Oh, come on. Okay, so. Oh, okay. So one ball down. Now she has two still, though. Still got two. She's bringing it. Got it back to the ball. It's hard, though, because with this game, you really make the most points with, like, the loops. And she claims that when you have a multiball with this one, it's so hard to do any of those loops or anything. Ooh, nice save. Very good save. That was Grace under pressure. Oh. She jiggled it. I saw it. I saw it. She did it. Yeah. Don't jiggle it. Don't jiggle it. Let it fall. She's asking for trouble. It is. A little bit. I mean, it's not going to be that easy. Which beetle do you think it is that's being just so mean? I mean, I'm sure one of them is, like, haunting the machine. Do you think it's Paul? Paul. It could have been Paul. No, no, Ringo. Ringo's a jerk. Everybody always gives Ringo a hard time, man. He's the reason why I drain. Okay, look, another multiple on Beatles. Who would have sunk it? Ball three. I mean, pretty much everybody gets a multiple. It's good. You're not crazy. But some people are crazy, and they get better scores. Really? There are people who don't choose that to start with? It's weird. It's true. Okay, so how many shots do you have to hit before the jackpot shot light on the loops on the orbit? Does anybody know? Because I want to know. I don't know. I don't know. And what qualifies that jackpot shot? Oh, this is. Oh, no. You'd hate to see that. And Tracy's breathing aside. I believe. Okay, so Tracy is giving us. It was good. She's telling us secrets. And the secret that will broadcast to all the people now is that she knows nothing about Beatles. But she knew something. I think she knew about the multiball. Don't you think she knew? Well, yeah. I think she's being humble. I think she knew about the multiball. Yes. She's doing it. She read the card. She read the instructional card. She can read. Good. Unlike me. Speaking of which, I maintain my amateur status. Hold on. wait for it. That's where I shine. That's where it happens. Shout out to the guys at Pinball Tomorrow and Holy for Holies for getting me that best t-shirt. Just being the best of them. So are we going to watch another pinball game? Is that really happening? I think we're moving into I think it's back to Star Wars. We've got this green screen with all the blue behind us. I feel very fancy. Oh, yeah, it's a little like blue tile. Yes. All right, so Jane's up. We have begun the game. Jane is playing Han. This is one where because there are so many strategies all at the same time, I find it exhausting to try to verbalize them before. Okay, escape mode five. She has picked which character? She is playing Han. She is Han. Okay, that's where I'm at. That's my wheelhouse. Oh, she went Tatooine. Usually I'm a tie fighter. Great shot. I've heard multiple people recommend that you go to Tatooine first. Okay. In the particular machine or just in general? In general. Look at that hyperspace hit, which means she's halfway to a hyperspace multiball. I like it. Okay. She's hitting these shots clean. You know why? Because she knows this game. How can we tell? She picks it. This is right about the time I would wish I was just, you know, on a beach somewhere and not playing Jane. A beach would be good. Oh, look. Now we're going to play video mode. Oh, no, we're not. We're escaping Halloween because that's a healthy ball. Obviously, that's what we would do. Yes. Hey, I don't want to play Jane. I'm learning new strategy. Well, we all do. Yeah, exactly. I do want to. I might even put a dollar or two around for that. I tell you, Jane is the person who taught me the most about Star Wars. Really now? Oh, does she have multiple strategies? Oh, it seems just kind of a one-trick pony, but she'll adjust to whatever the need is. That was a lot of the balls that greened at the same time. I hate that. Again, what do they call that? What do they call that? We have a word for that now. Eldrie? No, no, no, no. We were just talking about it. We were talking about it. No, it's on now. She's in the video mode now, easy. We will try to think of what happens when all the balls drain on you. They will drain it. I did not think of that independently. It was fed to us, and I'm happy. Thank you, people who just gave us information. I'm not going to touch the video mode. She almost had one. She almost had a perfect. What's her multiplier look like? We're about to find out. Oh, multiplier. 21 mil is still 21 mil. These games can be decided by 100,000 points. Or 5. Or 5? Or 5 million. Did you say 5? 5 million. 5 million. Yeah. It's a million game. Oh, okay. But you can get 100,000 different, right? Oh, yeah. I mean, it's rarer, for sure. Come on. Come on, mom. Rejected? She hit that perfectly. Lots. All right, hit it perfectly again with a little less smack, I guess. She has it anyway. Doesn't mean she adjusted just like you said she would. We always do. I like double rainbow. Double rainbow. That's a great one. Double rainbow. Double rainbow. I like that. I kind of like that the dead's lip word. I love dreambows, unless they happen to me. Okay, ball savers. Off. Good job. She got it back on the end. Come on. Oh, back in. Back in. Nice. She held it. Oh, okay, but it's still a ball saver. I think she had her butt. I think she had the four targets all hit. You hit all five of them. And then right after it. Oh, God. She's going for it. Oh, she's not even waiting. She wanted it. She knew she could get it. Just a hair off. Just a titch. I once had a perfect at, I don't know, maybe it was like 20 times going in. and it was worth $500 million. And Jane was standing there behind me going, if you do this, if you do this. For hitting the ivory star? No, for the asteroid navigator. Oh, I see. And I was just like, I did it. And she was like, I did it. Hey, nice. Jane's a great teacher. That's what I got to say. She's enthusiastic. You don't need to be enthusiastic to be a good teacher, but the passion. She loves when people execute. She loves it. It doesn't have to be her. She'll be happy for you. Oh, 100%. All right. Good save. Avoided. You know, ball save is no friend on this because it'll kick that ball right back up into uncertainty immediately. Yep. So she was smart to keep that on the flipper. There she goes. Changing where her multiple eyes are. Okay, we're doing for Haas. Messy, but she got it. Haas. Qualified. Get it again. She's playing a belayer. Oh, she's going back to the catch and shot, I think. I think that's what she wanted. Interesting strategy. Very interesting strategy. Well, she feels confident about it, clearly. Absolutely. Okay. We've got some smaller points here. 280 million. It's not completely pulled away yet. What's she going to do to make this a billion-point game? Billion-point spread. We know she can. We just want to know how. It's High Fighter. It's a good start. Knock out this new generator. It's a tricky balance. You want it to not come wailing back at you. Nice save. Alright. And she's got a Tidefighter multiball. Nice. We can have simul-drain-iousness as long as the ball tape is on. Simul-drain-iousness, is that the first time that's been said on a pinball? I hope so. A little extra net. This is a gorgeous separation. She's going to go ahead and take advantage of that single ball on the left flipper. coming back calmly waiting to see what happens. So she's going to cradle separate? Yep. Oh, so perfectly that it's perfect. Good. She managed to save all of them. She had to kick it away. Oh, no. Too fast. Oh, Manny did so many things right. She did nearly all the things exactly, exactly right. But that's pinball. Pinball. Where is she currently sitting? Is that 360? The Bells and Chimes logo is kind of concealing it. 358? 568? I can't tell. 358 to 58 right now. Okay, alright. So that's... Yeah, I've been like staring at it like I need new gloves. I can't read any of that. I think the game got moved a little bit. That's why our vantage point changed ever so slightly. True. Like, we... Not we. Okay, Tracy. What's going to happen? Well, what are you going to show us? Endure not off. I kept saying the wrong. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. That's what I was talking about earlier with the unfriendly ball save. Yeah, and it's a tactic, too, of trying to plunge before an auto. Yeah. Right? I nearly constantly do. Thank you for the people in the stream who said Endor, not Haas. Honestly, to me it's green or blue. And I absolutely take ownership for messing that up. But am I going for the blue shot on the internal left orbit? Or on the internal right orbit? Or am I going for the green shot in the middle? That's where I'm at. Nice. Okay. Solid clean shot. still maintaining her composure. Now she's going to be quiet and play. She got his face. I'm just like. She's back in. You saw how she kicked it. So, like, glance right now. Going right. I know. It's hard to. I can't imagine how tough they are. The words. Yeah. The words are failing me. Sorry. No. She could see that I was going right for a dreamboat. Yeah. Okay. All right. One hundred and something. 4.53. 4.53. Okay. Here we go again. Four to beat. But all she needs to do is get a multiball and then you can really rack up those points if you do enough of the ramp. I haven't been paying attention. Have we seen anyone utilize a multiplier strategy where they change the multiplier shot? Yeah. Tracy did it. Yeah. I know Leslie did it a lot. Yeah. I'm glad I wasn't paying as much attention to. Yeah, so if they can get some multiplayer up, get a multiball guy. I mean, it could be very easily done. What's that? I guess her nickname now, Outer Spacey Tracy. I like it. Because she's funny. What do you mean? That's Irish. Space City, though, as well. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Fair enough. That's what their leagues are called. Follow a lot of pinball people. Tell them all about the Vastity crew. Vastity. There's room for everybody. There's room for all the crews. Oh, 100%. It's also her Twitch name. Okay, ooh, good catch. Good start. Now she gets to choose where it goes. Is it going to be Endor, which is not Moff? Okay, good. Getting mode shot, which can be very lucrative. It is. It gives you a setup for that multiball that she needs. Oh, a little off. Good. I think I saw her give it a nice bump and she needed to right there. I mean she put 207. Is that last shot? That was so brutal. I could be crazy. I think she had one shot left on the mode. I don't know the mode for Gushions as well as I need to, but I am a one trick pony in Star Wars. That was 453. Goes to James. Yeah, 19. Yeah. So they are one of each now. I like it. They're giving us a show. Yeah, it's great. They're aiming to be entertaining. Are they succeeding? Yeah. Chat room, are they succeeding? People listening over the live, be curious to hear it at the tournament. Are we not entertaining? Is that a movie? Are we not entertaining? Yeah. That is a movie. What is that from? I don't know. Chat room. What's it from? Yeah. What's it from? Come on, chat room. It's like, do you not like it? I've got a phone. I've got the internet. But we also have the internet. I know. I'd rather hear it from the chat room. Gladiator. Yeah. Gladiator. That's way more hard work than I was thinking. Now he's got a whole new meeting. Now I'm just picturing us in, like, those skirts with breastplates. Oh, uncomfortable, right? What? No. Like, metal? I don't know if it's metal. I mean, I guess it stops people from, like, sparing you. Yeah, I guess there's some mobility there. I don't like a sparing. If there's some mobility, they, like, made the knight's armor better because with the skirt they can at least move, but their chest is still protected. Do you think it's like Tuxedo Tales where you've got to, like, flip it up to sit down? I hope so. Otherwise, you just get those leather strap marks in your leg. After someone did that, after that happened, I hope that they would say, are you not entertained? Because I would be. Okay, that's all. Why has no one picked monsters? I wonder. I digress. The table over there has been playing not great today. It's not been playing good today. It's playing better. Were they at one and one of last group? Who is that? I don't. We can switch to a new group. So were we mistaken when we said one and one? Or did they just decide to switch groups for us? I think they just decided to switch groups. Okay. All right. That's what the label is, maybe. Anna is up 112 to put Shine's. Okay. I can't see it. Okay. It's beautiful. And we haven't confirmed that they have chosen Deadpool. So we can double Deadpool. Nice. We love that. We do. I used to hate Deadpool, but then once I got better at the, like, ramp, then I liked it a lot more. But it's hard. You still, it's such a fast reaction time game. It is. It's a game that you can play on the fly really well, but also if you know when to don't. If you will hold them and not fold them. You didn't. I did. I did go there. It can really pay off. You have to do a little bit of mixing on this game. And holding. And folding. All the things. Sometimes you've got to know when to walk away. Oh, yeah. Walking away. I'm going to finish it. Sorry. I feel like I'm just saying country lyrics right now. We need some, I'm not going down the country lyrics. That was a nice bounce over. I love me some bounce overs. We all need to do it a lot more because it's fun. And it will impress your friends. It's hard for me to not hit the floor, though. But that's my main thing I need to work on is when to, like, not touch it and just let it bounce. Because you would agree it provides you a superior amount of control. Yeah, see, like, it just takes such patience to do that. No, it just literally takes a couple weeks of forcing yourself not to do it. How about that? I'm such a reactive person, though. Like, now react, like, intentionally. Like, like, oh, pull your hands away. Yeah. Pull your hand away from the flipper. That's a good react. You're a reactive person? Do it that way. Okay. I'll try. I'll tell us when we're getting into it. Oh, that was horrible. Yeah, that was a mess. Shoot up. But it was like, I feel like in this game, if the ball moves just fast enough and the game flashes its life at just the right time, you lose sight of it for a second, and then you don't have enough reaction time once you find it again. Yeah, it's true. And sometimes the kick out, you're expecting it just a slight bit later. And then when it comes in, you're, yep, there it goes. All right, sunshine. Sunshine with an uncharacteristically small score, but this is Deadpool. Yeah, I got Deadpool'd earlier. I like that. Does that mean I can be mad now? Yeah. You know, it can actually, sometimes it's a good thing. Sometimes it's bad. Oh, oh. This is one where the legs are just all over the place. You really got to nudge into your life to get these. You got to nudge what? Within an inch of your life. It's been an inch of your life. Yeah. It's been an inch of each life. If you keep your hands as far away from the buttons as possible, then you have to exert more effort to clap them. And you can also miss because I've played like that before and then I've hit the side of the table instead of the button and died. Have you found that the more you play, the stronger you get in that regard where you don't have to pull back quite so far to get as much of a smack on the game? I feel like when I first started playing, I used to regularly hit the hands of the people next to me and the wall at Logan. You got to do what you got to do. Sure. I mean, we all play different. We all have different styles. We get active. We don't. I definitely don't, like, slap them hard like that, like I used to do anymore, though. Slap dead wolves. Okay. So, essentially, we've got the battle scooplet for a battle and for a quest and for mystery. Yep. There's lots of reasons to want to go up there. She did try for it, I believe. Or she could just be going for that Wolverine shot for other purposes. Yep. Try. She's thinking about going for the lock. She's got a good bump to keep it out of the in lane, out lane area. That was a first. Her life, yeah. Really? Really. I think she's up for the scoop now. What do you think? Oh, she's going for Dazzler. All right. And she got it. She got Dazzler talking to her. Dazzler's glowing. Oh, wow. Worth the danger, definitely. I mean, pretty much anything in this game is dangerous. Playing pinball is dangerous. Oh, nice. That was a beautiful save. Oh, tilt. It was a beautiful save, though. I would have done the same. Yeah. It's actually kind of a beautiful shot. Did that. Tilted. That was cute, by the way. All right, we are doing this. We're going to finish this game, and then we're going to switch off. Yeah, 100%. I'm going to just say this is really awesome. Yeah. I'm hanging out with you guys and talking on the screen. I'm on the drive. Although I did more staring at the screen. What happened? Like hypnotized than I did talking. I have a screen in front of me that's the only way I'm not looking upward. I didn't notice that one for a while, and I've just been like, I can't see this. I think that I'm supposed to. Probably it's better because the camera's there. We can see it. Right. Yeah. There it is. Yeah. This one I'm just looking down. It's transfixed. Okay. So, Sunshine's doing the applicable thing, which is to wait for the Marc Silk bob to settle. Which, if we were playing Munsters, would be for five minutes. Even though that's probably not legal. Munsters is touchy. Touchy? Touchy? Touchy. Touchy. All right. Who's the jazz hand? I did a thumbs up to Jack that waved at us. Very nice. There's been a dramatic sighting. Doing the double. Oh. And shout out to Tracy for starting Bells and Chimes in Austin. Nice. Which, again, is when matches are coming up because they're one age. But, yes, we love the people that are supporting pinball and creating pinball spaces for all the people. Last time I went to Austin, I did not notice that many pinball tables in the various bars. When was the last time you went? Like three years ago. Oh, you've got to get back. It's out there. Yeah. I am going next May. So, a little exciting. Come on for a bath. Waiting trip, going out early to do this sort of thing. But they do have that really awesome place. What's it called? It's just a huge room. Little pencil tables. And it's... I know about Buffalo Billiards. Buffalo Billiards? Not Buffalo Billiards. No. There's no bar. You're not really allowed to drink. If someone on the chat can tell us, I can't. I remember going there because there was no bar and you weren't allowed to drink inside. Yes, that's it. So everybody was out in the parking lot drinking beer out of their... What? No, that's illegal. We would never do that. You know, people did do that. I did see that. All right, sunshine. She's playing conservatively with that in lane out lane. She's bumping it, trying to keep it in so she doesn't make any bigger moves. Sunshine's great for the bump. She bumps the lock bar. I've been trying to do that more. No, no, no. It just wasn't her day. Sunshine's a phenomenal player. I've been trying to come up at her and do as well as her every tournament I'm in. So that was a bad beat on Deadpool. He could have easily gone the other direction. Awesome. Good to see the girls playing. And we are out. I'm Debra. We're out. I'm Debra. Oh, Erin. And? Tabitha. Thanks for having us, guys. I appreciate you. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Hello. Hi. Hello. Carl's doing our levels right now. So we have a new commentary team coming in. We're going to be covering the very last round here of the... Even Closer Together. Hello, hello, hello. Very last round here of the tournament. It's been very exciting so far. Lots of great competition, lots of great CERN games, of course, that we're playing these tournaments on, which I like. So once we transition over, we'll do introductions, and we'll get underway with the semifinal matches. Oh, test this, though. Can you hear me here? Here we go, train is coming over. So, hello. Hi, hey, how y'all doing? Hello. That's all I do. Introduction, I'm Tim Spexton. I'm Ashley Ludwig. And I'm Dalton Neely. We're going to be the commentary team here. We're already in a game of Deadpool between Tracy and Jane. Deadpool, a great pinball machine. I worked on it. We're already in a little Deadpool multiball. Just played by itself. Right away. Great points in this multiball. The first stage is shooting. Oh, no. There's a tilt there. Wow. Oh, my goodness. I had talked to Tracy earlier, and she said that Deadpool was extremely tight. Yeah, it looked that way. I didn't see a lot of movement there. These dead pools are really, really stingy. And it is incredible if you could put up at least 100 million. Definitely going to take your time. Some of these machines, you've got to hold your breath to play. and even then holding your breath can get you a danger or two. So when you were qualifying in this tournament, did you feel like tilt was really sensitive? Has it changed any? When I walked up to the bank, I saw a bunch of machines that I wasn't super excited with. I tend to be more of a classic sort of person. Schedule is something I love the machines, but I didn't pick it. I picked Elvira, which was actually the first time I played the machine, and Beetles I was comfortable on. So Jane goes right into a Sabertooth battle here. She's already picked up about a third of her progress through Sabertooth by shooting the right orbit. Orbits and the center shot will take down Sabertooth's health bar. The faster you beat a mode in Deadpool, the more points you'll get for your final shot at this cube. Yeah. Looks like she's also trying maybe to bring in the little Deadpool multiball, which you can stack with your battle modes in this game. She goes right for that center spinner, crushes it. Deadpool health is getting pretty low, so Deadpool's health represents your time remaining in the mode. And if you don't hit enough shots, you have to go back and start the mode over again. Oh wow, that counted for a Sabertooth. Yeah, it did. Oh. Sabertooth takes down Deadpool, but still 7 million points to that mode. And by completing left target, which only has one target left, she can relight her battle mode and take another one and get some more points there. She goes right for it. The dead target's light the battle mode at the scoop. You can battle Sabertooth, Juggernaut, and Mystique. and let's see what she's probably going to go back to Faber-Tooth maybe. So there is an advantage here to taking a fresh enemy because the final shot bonus you get by completing someone in one go around is slightly higher. Yeah, better to start it, complete it. All in one go. Yeah, you really don't want to go back to it. Great in lane there. She's got one more shot just to start the little Deadpool multiball. She's moving pretty quick. Absolutely, so that ball will be locked in a little deadpool area. You can release it right away with the drop target. We're in a two ball multiball while the juggernaut battle is going on. This one's a great statue because the drop targets on the left and right are going to progress you towards different phases of juggernaut mode which will let you do more damage more quickly and get more points. Looks like she needs one more hit. There we go. and there'll be orange arrows lit all over the play field that'll attack a juggernaut while he's stunned, and Drain has helped quit. And she does have an extra ball lit up the scoop, I believe. And how many points, I believe, is it 10 million points? Extra ball award? I wish I remembered. But, yeah, like you said, Little Deadpool and juggernaut is a great bet because two balls going out of control, out of your playing zone, But she's still in play in the Juggernaut mode. She got the ball locked in the later stage of the little Deadpool multiball. And Juggernaut's very close right now. Switch hits also progress the health bar. She did get a game here. And that's 50 million points there. Oh, really? Quick. It's not here, but it's a very close match so far. Both players have played their little Deadpool multiball and have all the other options in the game still ahead of them. And although she didn't get the final shot on Juggernaut, she still has the credit for completing Juggernaut to advance to Star on multiball, which is after you complete all three enemies Juggernaut and the speed of take-a-two. Right, so let's illustrate a little bit. There's lights there in the center of the play field that show you three battles. The two below that are your quests Those are different types of modes that can be played And ProcrastiCruzo is a good way to pick up points early There also lock shots around here for the ninja multiball It a shot that kind of crosses through the playfield I love the angle of that. Oh, it's a lot of fun. It is a lot of fun. When you hit that shot, it's very satisfying to see that weird cut it makes across the back of the playfield. There's also another satisfying shot to get the lock and also a playfield X multiplier. There's a little target right in here, I believe, right in here. And from this flipper, if you hit that ball up there and bank it off into here, it'll score a katana lock and advance one of your playfield multipliers. multipliers you can get it all the way to 2x 3x 4x and all the way up to five times And that is the big points right there Tracy's got a lot of stuff ready. She's got her next little Deadpool mode live, which is a frenzy mode battle it on the scoop Another danger there with not a huge movement look like no No, I'm not happy about that, but definitely gonna settle down And we'll be back like nothing happened in just a few moments here. But a lot of options right now on the table. You can see everything splashing ready to go. Dang. Really rough outlaying dream there. Dang. All right, we're going to player two, ball two. Jay's going to step up. Still in the lead going into ball two here, just by a little bit she's going to want to put some distance between her score and her opponents. Jane's going for the super skill shot, but she didn't really take a shot at it. She just used it to get control on the flipper. Right into Sabertooth battle again. So Sabertooth health remains halfway down. Just shoot the yellow arrows around the playfield and you'll wrap this mode up pretty quick, get some more points. Maybe start progressing toward another little dead pool mode or another multiball. Great. Also, it looks like on the spinner, the berserker Rachel is like, wow. That's going to be too dangerous. I'm so surprised that did not tilt. Oh, that move. Just to tip it over was a little too much of an issue. She might have had a safe day if she didn't try to nudge it while tipping it over. She might have had a good chance of saving that, probably. Eh. Alright, now we're stepping into ball three. Still a really close game here. Tracy, maybe you want to let that spin a little bit after that tilt. Another thing Tracy could do right now is shoot one right orbit around here, because this truck splashing is not a light for chimichanga shots around the play field. Shooting the chimichanga shots will allow you to play quests, a different type of mode, type of mode which often can score a lot more points than the regular battle modes. They're a little easier to get. I have yet to really blow this machine up, which is why I didn't pick it. I know people that love this machine and they really get into it and I do enjoy it a lot. I just have yet to really know how to blow this machine up. We all know about the two main skill shots in this game. There's a flashing in lane you can control before you plunge that would be about two and a half million points and there's the super skill shot where you can hold the left flipper and the ball will come around and you hit the lock shot for a super skill shot about five million points but there's also i believe there's a secret skill shot albeit very hard if you hold the left flipper button like a super skill shot and hit the snick target and tracy's been going for the regular skill shots there that gets her 2.75 million points and the playing field multiplier This is amazing. It's really important. If she can get anything going here, it'll be worth double. Oh, my gosh. Is that close? Oh, no. That ball's not coming back. Yeah. Also, I think that sticker skill shot from the SNCC target, I think it's worth about 15 million points, and it's very difficult to hit. So things were almost ready to blow up there, and just, you know, the way the ball passes, the way the ball rolls, it changes so quickly. but all those quick play field X shots can bring in the big points very, very quickly if you get them all in one go, one ball. So we'll see what game they're going to next. Our stream organizer, Carl, here, running back and forth as fast as he can to set up the cameras. He's got all the action of all the games. Yeah, we've got to give a lot of credit to Carl. He's been working his butt off. given us this live stream. And we really, really thank for his support and his time. And definitely credit to all the competitors who came out for this tournament this weekend. I think it was something like 36 or 37 players who qualified top 16, made finals. It was a very tough field. I believe, it looks like we may be going to the Munsters. Either the Munsters or Star Wars, I can't tell from where I'm sitting at. I'm pretty sure it's the Munsters we're going to. Okay. The Munsters are going to be exciting because there's no ball save on the Munsters on the plunge. And it's going to be a lot of short plunging, play field validation. Here we are. Yep. So we're seeing the other semifinal match now in progress between Lindsay and Anna. Looks like Lindsay's up. Not sure who's player one, player two. And so far, not a ton of progress for either player, so we're going to see players probably go for Herman right away here. Of course. Herman is the biggest target when you start the game. Right in there. All right, here we go. Once you hit Herman, you've got a little hurry up to hit the ball and the make. Oh. Wow. Now, she started that hurry up. Now, but she didn't get it, she will have to light the hurry up again by hitting Herman three more times on her next ball to relight the multiball hurry up. And it looks like that may be what happened to Anna. Was the game set to hard settings? I don't know. I did not pick it. Since we didn't see ball one, we don't know if the game was set to harder for Herman or if she got there while wanting to make that hurry up. Skill shot's available on the left ramp until that timer runs down. See, there's a left ramp, and there's also a rollover that's flashing up top that can also be a skill shot. She got the mystery, which lights the kitty target in the middle, which gives you something good, plus advances the play field multiplier, another good thing to have. They're a tough shot to hit. This flashing arrow right in here, that is the kiddie shot, is also the playfield multiplier. And you're going to see a lot of shots being made to that target. And Grandpa Mode starts now. So Grandpa Mode can be worth a good point. You shoot the targets with the shots around the playfield. That's how you cash out the Grandpa values. 100,000 for that shot. Great points in this game. It's around the orbit, 19 seconds left in the load. Anna could right now hit that kitty target or maybe save it for later because you can get up to a 6x playfield multiplier in this game if you have three kitties. And you're probably not going to be seeing a lot of super jackpots being collected until they get their playfield multiplier up from that kiddie shot because without any playfield X, that super jackpot is almost little to nothing, very low points. But when you get that playfield X up to 2, 3, or 6 X, you're going to see some astronomical super jackpot scores. But in a game like this where the scores are so close, sometimes those little things are enough to get you that out because you're playing head-to-head and you just need that win. and you're player one, you've got to get ahead of player two. It's the only way you can win here. And that score difference being so close, anything can happen, no ball save like you said. Dangerous. Oh, boy, that's two dangers. That's two dangers. Wow, she's still alive after that nudge. And also, you want to tell them about the zap button, what the zap button does? Yeah, so when you hit targets around the playfield, you can earn zaps on the top button, they'll light jackpots around the playfield. It's another little mechanic in the game. Eventually you'll collect those zaps, and you will get a super jackpot on the left. Not scoop area, but the left side. Collect eject. Tim, do you have a strategy when you're playing the machine? Oh, there's the till. Rough till, so Amazon fun. I do, and it's, you know, Herman right away, like the players were doing, and that it's try to get that 6x going with either Raven multiball or in Monster Madness later on, and also make sure when you cash out the super jackpot, do it as high multiplier as possible. And working backward from there in a game like that, I might go, okay, I've got to go just for a skill shot now because those scores are so close and anything can happen the way the games are set up. It's so tough here. Right. Oh, so. And now we see the updated bracket. Looks like Jane is moving on to the finals. And we are currently awaiting the result of Anna versus Lindsay. And it says Anna, so. Jane versus Anna, a hometown Chicago matchup here in the finals. This is going to be a great matchup. I can feel it. I can feel it, too. This is going to be a very, very great matchup. So Anna's the higher seed here in the tournament. I believe she'll get the first pick of game if she walks to her quarter. Jane and Anna are also great friends, so I'm sure they'll be having a fun time no matter who wins this event. That's a great thing. I mean, even if you don't make finals or barely qualify or even if you're on the bottom of the whole thing, it's so much fun to just be a part of competitive pinball. When I started playing tournaments, I just got addicted right away. It's really a great crowd of people. You don't have to win. It looks like more women in pinball on our camera right now is Mimi Ertz, She's an artist at Stern Pinball. She's done a lot of the work on the past few Stern games on the display right here. She doesn't even know she's on camera, but I just wanted to shout out Mimi. Thanks for all the work you do in making our games look great. Thank you. Yeah, it looks like Paul moved the cameras over. It looks like we're going to see some more Deadpool action. More Deadpool. Great. Great, great game designed by George Gomez. The Stern Pinball game came out last year. Tanya Fleiss is the lead programmer. Zombie Yeti is also here to do the art. I love the artwork on this machine. It's some very, very cool art. And Zombie Yeti does really, really good artwork. He did Ghostbusters, Iron Maiden. The Iron Maiden, I love the Iron Maiden artwork. He also did the Primus artwork. And I believe he also did the Ghostbusters artwork, too. And I already got a lot right off the bat. Only two more will start Ninja Multiball. You can bring in other modes to that Multiball as well. And into the battle scoots. No one ever takes the sneak right away with Sabretooth here. So, nice in lane there, just going to go right around the left orbit. The top lanes do a lot of damage to Sabretooth. Really good to set it up to left and right orbit. Back into the top lane, use the pop-up burst to really get this mode done really quickly for the most points. Sabertooth is very easily completed with the left and right orbit. But also the center spinner does do damage too. And she just nailed three great right over shots in a row. I really feel like she's dialed into this game, playing in qualifying and finals. Final shot clear of the center scoop. Strobing scoop shot. Boom! That's about a 10 million final shot. Not bad, not bad. Great start. Yeah, great start. Got Sabertooth out of the way. And now to relight the battle, we need to complete these targets that spell DEAD to relight the battle at the scoop. And it looks like you just need the first letter in D in DEAD. And there it is. And the battle is lit at the center scoop. She's got the drop targets on her little deck full as well. She's getting ready to build something big here. She got a little dead full open. We may see her juggernaut. Yep, we may see some juggernaut with a little dead full. That tends to be usually one of the best stacks. Gets that nudges head out of there. Right on the right full break. Backhand this. Oh, just missed the target. A little out of control. Did she get this? Nice ball. Oh! Cute. And a danger on that. I saw the ball go in there, it looked like it just didn't register. And that's such a tough read coming down off this inner ball guide here. You never know if the end of the flipper is going to get it, or you need to slap both flippers at the same time, what's going to send it away. It looks like she was just a millimeter off on making that save there. Not a bad start, though. As James is going for the super skill shot. He's around the right orbit to progress the chimichanga truck. aiming for the battle scoop right now nice settled down a nice trap here another shot oh my goodness double danger that can't wow what a save what a save and only two dangers that's impressive however she must keep in mind she is on thin ice right now after that double danger state but look how smart she's playing she's using that time the ball's going span of the scoop to let the tilt off settle down without the ball being out of control. Amazing. Yeah, of course. And wow, a spinner spinner, the right orbit and the pop bumper quick combo like that would do a heck of a lot of damage to Sabretooth. And look how much progress I watched from Sabretooth in that one pop session. One more shot, that's going to do it here through the top lane. Beautiful. final shot. Beautiful. This is going to be a home run right to the center. That's a big difference. Look, Anna's way ahead because she cashed in her final shot on Sabertooth. Yeah. That would have been a heaping amount of final shot points if she would have stuck that in that scoop. That would have probably been about maybe about 30 million possibly. Anna also has one ninja lock so far. She has one shot left to light her chimichanga truck. Oh, nice skill shot there for $5 million plus another ball lock. Yeah, that's great. That's ball two. She needs one more for the ninja multiball. And there it is. Ninja multiball. Number three. Here we go. We're ready for multiball, and here we go. Just come down. So this multiball, all the shots are lit to start, and when you make enough shots, the super's lit around that shot you did to make your locks. The more ninjas you collect, the bigger the super jackpot value. And any shots in that side rim can be selected off the target for a play fizzle and fireball. Oh, one danger there. Two dangers. I wonder if you noticed, like, that action from multiball is so much that, you know, you get a little carried away, and that's two dangers already, She's going to play really carefully now. She may be going. She's going to try for that. All right. We've got the extra ball award lit at the scoop now. She's really. Uh-oh. That's fine. She had to let it go. She definitely noticed and adjusted her play there to be a little more cautious and gave up the multiball for it, but it was worth it. You're going to get the ball back in play. It's fine. You're going to be settled down. The chimichangas are lit. Whoa. Still nailing that right orbit constantly, I would assume. Really nice job there. Even still, just no movement at all. She's playing really carefully right now. Oh, boy, that was some wicked spin off that ball when it hit that flipper and it bounced right back into the slingshot. So if she shoots a left ramp here, she'll also start Katana Rama time, which is another rampant orbit scoring mode. Extra ball points. This is all good stuff right now. And here we go. We may be seeing some juggernauts. She does have the Colossus Team Up Award lit at that blue arrow right here, right next to that scoop. It's a turnaround shot into a little target right there to score a Colossus. And during Colossus team up, I believe it is double points for this mode, if I'm not mistaken. And so, Dana waited for her little Deadpool as well. She brought it into her second mode. Oh, wow. Really great. Readjust it after those dangers to just have total control over these multiballs here. And they're looking really good with all the points she's getting. 84 million right now is her score. You've got Katana Rama going on, the Deadpool multiball going on. Not to mention on top of the Colossus double scoring. What's this going to be? Got her final shot there. $113 million now. $21 million final shot. Wow. What a shot. That's a lot of double scoring there. She is playing so cool right now. I know, absolutely. Which is so important when you get to this sort of level. You just need to adjust. You can't get stressed out. You can't try too hard. You have to know when to reel it back and really just change what you're doing. Looks like she temporarily got an Ataball from the Mystery Award at the Scoop. Yep. And it's gone now. Uh oh, there went another one. Catarama time is still going though and other modes to be progressed. She has a quest lit so she can go right into another mode. 20 weapons collected. We're pretty close to the next few multiballs though. This is really opening things up in the game. She picks Megalodon. Megalodon ain't a bad one. It's a controllable mode. It's going to be a lot of blue arrows and there's going to be one strobing red arrow. It's currently on the left ramp and on the center ramp, or center steer, sorry. And the blue arrows add to that value, if I'm not mistaken. They do, yes. And there's a shot at the lot. That's ball one, I believe. Yep, and she went to the red arrow there. The more blue arrows you collect, right, the bigger the value of the red arrow is. but the more red arrows are the bigger points and they get you closer. And she used the boom to spot, oh, wow, there's a snick shot for a two-inch place to multiply. How comfortable Anna looks right now in this game is just amazing. You know, making almost every shot, and when she doesn't make a shot, she's collecting the ball and just going back at it again. It really looks in control. When you make that next shot for a play field X, you have to have a lot of weight taken off your shoulders because you know you're going to have some heaping points coming your way if you control it just right. Oh man. And now since she got Ninja multiball a while ago, you life the katana lock by completing the pool target on the right side, right across from the dead target. And it looks like she's waiting on that center spinner for the megalodon shot. Yeah, she's definitely going for that center spinner shot. get more weapons in the scoop. So 29 weapons, you might be thinking, if I can just make some combos, get my weapons, and get that next few multiple ready, that could be some really serious points to put some distance between her and Jane. Another great Megalodon shot there. 150 million pretty much at this point. Three. Just totally cool and collected. Nice save. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Oh, that was so close. It's so tense. But great ball. Round of applause for Anna. That was amazing. That's a great ball, too. And that has got to make her feeling really good right now. She's in a very good position with $153 million on this dead pool. I mean, I'm sure that tilt right at the end was not as nice. But, dang, I would have done the same thing. I mean, it's the finals you've got to, you can't just rely on, you know, what's going to happen. You've got to play every little house you can into this game. You have to really take, you have to take a chance. And, you know, especially in tournaments, you don't know unless you try. And here steps up Jane. After waiting a little bit after that tilt, She immediately goes right for the Super Skill Shot. And she's got both battle and quest lit at the spook, so she can choose either one. She can choose Juggernaut Sabertooth of the Seek, or she can go with the T-Rex Quest or the Megalodon Quest. So Jane also did not play her little Deadpool multiball yet. Until just now. And she had that plan in mind. She knew exactly what she was doing. Juggernaut plus Little Deadpool. Get the end points here. Start working her way back up. She's not played her ninja multiball yet. She's not played any of her quests yet, and they are lit. So still a lot of options for Jane here to come back. Yeah, you're going to see, like I said before, Little Deadpool plus Juggernaut is a great set because Juggernaut has probably the most shots that can put the ball in a lot of danger. Those type targets to advance to light the shots, like right now they're all lit at orange arrows. They are a lot of dangerous shots on those targets to light those modes. And you're going to see a multiball, which is the safest strategy because you've got a ball save and you've got more pinballs bouncing around to hit those targets. James has been focusing on the little deadpool shots here, which is very good. The payoff later in little deadpool multiball could be surprisingly high. and progress through the different stages of the multiball. It looks like she's lit the Little Devil Super Jackpot at both of the spinners. I believe they're lit for, I think, 100,000 a spin. Yeah, they get pretty high, and the ball's coming back out. And 100,000 a spin is redonkulous. There it is, 672,000 for the Berserker Raid shot. So the points are starting to add up real quick. 55 million, already a third of the way there. Final shot split. Final shot at the scoop. That's going to be a lot of points if she can stick that. Oh, out the out lane. Out of hands and mobile. There's one danger. Just one. Oh, my goodness. Save it. Backhand it. Just get control. Put it in there. Oh, my goodness. And that final shot can time out, which it did there. Deadpool still wins, but you don't get that extra 10 million or so points. But still, a really good ball from Jane, and she's still got plenty of options going into ball three. Yeah. A lot can happen in the final ball, though. Oh, you've got some fans in the chat. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. It's great. It's nice to see y'all guys. I'm doing good. I've won my first match. And tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. I get to play that shark. And it'll be a great match. I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a great, great privilege to play with him. Did she miss the fill stats? Yeah, she went for the top lane and you can't control the lanes after you've launched on deathmatch. so I went through the long lane, but with the ball save, you're fine. And so Ana's got both Battle and Quest lit at the center scoop, right there. So he won weapons late, close to the next few multivols. So, Manglodon was in progress last time. She also has her Mystique mode available. Mystique tough, but she does have a team up around the right orbit and she's been nailing that right orbit all game. I think that's why she chose it here. Yeah. Look at that. Nails that shot. Right off the bat. If you get the Wolverine team up, which is the center spinner, and you start Mystique, a well-placed shot on that Wolverine team up and Mystique award because Wolverine's team up is double damage. And one well-placed spinner shot on Mystique can often, with a juicy spinner, can light the final shot almost in one shot. There's a team-up award with Domino, I believe, and that is super scoring is the team-up award. I don't fully understand what that one is. And there's a right out lane drain. And that is it for Anna's turn on Deadpool. And we're going to see what Jane can do when she steps up for her ball three. Great bonus there, four and a half million she collected at the end. Yeah. We're looking at about a 103 million point hill to climb. But anything can happen on Deadpool. There's a lot of quick scoring opportunities on Deadpool. And I wouldn't be surprised if this comes back and wins. And the great thing about Jane is she always has a plan going in. Right away you see her, I'm going to go bam, bam, bam, execute this, execute that. Yeah, she's playing, she plays it, I'm watching her play and she plays it like I know exactly the moves. I know exactly what shots to make. Very comfortable. We've got a question in chat saying, how do you like the team ups? and before you select a mode or quest, there's four main shots that are allies, so to speak. There's the left orbit spinner, which is Dazzler's team-up. Hitting that shot a couple of times lights the Dazzler team-up award, and she awards more time when you shoot her during a battle. Nice left ramp shot there. Yeah. And center spinner. Oh, look at that. three-way climb into the line. That is incredible. And another team up is Colossus, which is the little turnaround right there right to the side of that scoop. And Colossus awards double points during about... Oh, boy. Two to you, Danny Gary. Oh, boy. Start that lock. All right, back to the right. Oh, boy. But she does have a left out lane ball save regeneration list, so hopefully she won't make a big nudge. Right back to the in lane. Oh, my gosh. That was a great nudge out of that right out lane. But she shouldn't have to worry about when the ball gets over to the left out lane because she has that ball save, and that's going to be coming right back. So she's a little relieved. And look at that. She just left the mode timeout so she could start a new mode. She knows she has one shot left with a multiball, and she knows with the deficit of points right now, she's got a stack of stuff together. So T-Rex plus probably the Ninja Multiball, that's a great opportunity to catch up. Now during T-Rex, there's going to be green arrows that build up a hurry-up value, and you collect the hurry-up when you hit the little Deadpool target that's going to be flashing green and red right now. Nice, another set of 10 million hurry-ups? And it looks like she's got Katana Ramatime going on as well. Yes, we're up to 115 million. Kataharama is not. Oh, wow. What a nice thing. It brings it back. 11 million there for that shot. Oh, just missed that ninja multiball. Oh, boy. This is fun. Oh. Amazing save, but a tilt. Oh, my goodness. That would have been. That was an incredible attempt at a beautiful save. Oh, look at the card. So, it's a best of three here. Dana moves to 1-0. Jane's going to have choice again. What do you think she's going to pick? Jane? Yeah. I think I have some ideas, but what do you think? Oh, man. I'm going to say Star Wars. She might. I know that I played Elvira for the first time on my bank, and it was the first time I actually played the game but the layout of it was interesting but I just thought let me just play it, it seems simple let me get a feel for it but we're on Star Wars sure enough, we're going on to Star Wars a game both these players know the ins and outs of what I really like about Star Wars is we haven't seen so far an emergent tournament strategy that like this is the thing to do everyone plays it a little different way and everyone's found their own path people are adapting I mean even from the very get-go you've got the choice of the four characters you can play and people pick different characters still the game's been out for several years yeah um I really like Star Wars for that reason just because I've seen so many people on so many different streams say oh I've been I've been starting out this way, I've been choosing this, and then maybe over time they adjust or they find a different path to take, but you can choose what works for you. Is that coming back? Yes, it is. Thank goodness. Oh, man. And it looks like... So, she took Han and lit her attack mode from the skill shot right there. That is not a bad character to go with. Han is probably one of the best characters to go with in this strategy because Han only needs one mission to complete for three planet multiballs. You need only one mission to complete for Hoth, one mission to complete for Tatooine, and one mission to complete on Endor to light those multiballs. And not to mention, the one mission you need to complete for Hoth is the video mode. Right. Oh my goodness. But that is not a bad strategy, lighting Tatooine on the plunge because that scoop is not friendly most of the time. And so what happened there, I don't think Jane made any mistakes. She shot that hot shot perfectly twice in a row and it just rejected, and she tried to take a different approach to maybe hit it with a little less speed because she, you know, twice in a row it's not going to work. Maybe you've got to change something up. And, you know, the ball went out the outlay, but I don't think that was anything at all that was her fault. Oh, yeah. So I didn't even see who Anna picked. She went right up there and just picked Han, lit her Tatooine mode. So, yeah, they're on the same path right now. And it goes up the Endor ramp, moving our multipliers around, let's pull up on the ramp, which is super control, like the Hoth mission. Hoth and Tatooine are lit. Now, even though she's just shot Hoth, you can also select missions like, see, she chose the Tatooine mission, even though she shot Hoth. that can also be safety because if you like the tattooing shot and that's the only shot you got, you're putting that ball in danger when you hit that scoop because 90% of players agree that scoop is probably not your best friend. Look at that. She nails her TIE Fighter hurry up. She's taking out all these TIE Fighters. She's going to get really close to the TIE Fighter multiple. She's very powerful for building your multipliers and getting quick points. Yeah, and that's also another big aspect of this game is the multiplier shot arrows. Mystery award here. What are you going to give? Probably big points. Yep. Biggest drawing. Tie fighters have created an increase in tie fighter hurry-ups. These things are very close to tie fighter multiples. How many tie fighters does she have? I think she's got 21. You've got your guys, though. Yeah, but you can tell there's a little, there's a TIE fighter count right next to the score of the player on the left. And if my eyes don't deceive me, I think that's 22. And I don't know if it's on competition play, but I think 35 TIE fighters is the TIE fighter multiball. And if it's on hard settings, I believe it's 50. Tie fighters. Right. And a 22. And 70 million for Anna. To James, 25 million. Points can go up very quickly in this game, especially when they start rolling. It's a lot more explosive in scoring when you get everything lined up. Yeah. And you're going to be seeing a lot of those big point shots being made off those. That was a great nudge by James. That ball was going to the outland. That was going to the outland. And now's another pretty good no-danger there. But, yeah, a lot of... Tie fighter, hurry up, ready. Shoot the tie fighter. Oh, now the ball's out of control. Oh, take the danger. Tap that button, get in control. She left a few tie fighters. She still got a bunch. But that was worth it. You have to keep the ball under control there. Of course. Control is everything. Now she's got Endor split. She can take any mode here that she's ready with. She's probably going to stack. Is she going to attack them both, or is she going straight for Tatooine? She's going for Tatooine. Tatooine is a lot easier to complete because it's a ramp buildup, and the Death Star shot is the collect. And it don't matter if you want big points, little points. As long as you get that Death Star shot, it gives you credit for completing Tatooine, and she will have the Tatooine multiball lit next up. That was a solid shot to the outlay. Yeah, just nothing you can do. that ball and just wanted to go the other way. So both players here, which is really interesting, both players are going with the exact same thing, right? Yeah. And it's just a battle of who's going to execute on this strategy. Yeah, there's a common saying, great minds think alike. And here we go. And it brings you to TIE Fighter Multiball. Here we go, TIE Fighter Multiball. And getting over a million for every button hit there, that's huge when you get that second TIE Fighter plus that mystery building in the hurry up. We've got really big points. Yeah. off of R2-D2, then. Okay, during TIE Fighter Multiball, there's going to be red arrows at each of the major shots. And when you complete all of them, the left ramp will be lit for a super jackpot. Wow, that was quick, that multiball. Wow, just out of grace. I blinked and I missed something. Alright, here we go. Hyperspace hurry up with the multiball arrow. Oh, wow. Just reached that point. 29 point hurry up. That's good. But yeah, you're going to see a lot of big points being accumulated very quickly by those three green arrows right there. And she's going to Tatooine Multiball now. Another two-ball Multiball. She can build up her Multipliers again. And she can get the Multiball drawing. And get the Adaball here she could use or save for later. Yeah, when you hit the force targets five times, I believe, your action button on the lockdown bar will start blinking orange. And when you hold it down, you'll get an add-a-ball. But keep in mind, it also turns off your shot multipliers, so be mindful of that. 10X here, over 200 million. This multiball's been going very well so far. We're seeing a lot more controlled multiball play. And he uses the add-a-ball there. Yeah. Just in time to say, yeah, now three balls in play. That was perfect, yeah. Yeah, but those shot X's, when you toggle them off, you can move them with the flipper buttons, and you can unlock them with a touch of the action button. And the three bank right here, that three bank builds up your shot X. See, hers is at 10X right now. Oh, boy. And we've got 70 million TIE Fighter hurry-ups plus all the TIE Fighter ones. Oh, wow. Now she's got a Hyperspace hurry-up going as well. And there's the TIE fighter hurry up out. 45 million, she better start hitting. That 4 or 5 million for a TIE fighter? That was huge points. And when that X shot starts blinking your time is running out. And when your time runs out, oh my goodness. She got the TEDx there. Could she get it? A 10 X video mode. This is going to be some big points if she makes it through. through. You also get a perfect bonus if you hit no asteroids at all. There it is. There we go. Definitely put a smile on your face. Wow, look at that navigation. I've never been so excited for a video mode in my whole life. Not a single asteroid hit first. I've never made it this far. Oh, boy. Without hitting several asteroids. Jesus Christ. That was good. That might be perfect. The action button. Let's go. Let's go. The The action button is on. Oh, wow. Look at this. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. 145,850,000 just from the video mode. And the crowd goes wild. A 10X, a multiplied video mode is a ton of points. As a matter of fact, I was on the Star Wars earlier over in the free play area. I had a 40X multiplied arrow on video mode, and I think it was a perfect bonus. I think it was like a billion point video mode, and it was outrageous. So you used the indoor ramp to play the Hoff multiball, escape from Hoff here, two-ball multiball? Not going to risk a reject from that Hoff. Lots of shots right here, too, and that head-ex was reset, but she could build it back and ball save here pretty safely back up to 10-X. Going for her bank, too, I think, to light the out-of-ball. I saw some deliberate shots over there. Now during Hoff, what you want to do, there's blue arrows and then there's dark blue arrows. Dark blue arrows are the Hoff shots. The lighter turquoise ones are combo arrows. But during Hoff, you want to hit all the dark blues you can, which are the inner loop. And when you hit enough inner loops, you want to hit those spinners. The spinner... Multiply with the 10x again. That was a 10x jackpot shot. There's extra ball awards. Another one like the hot shot. She's just passed over 700 million as of right now. Oh boy. Leave it, leave it. Oh. Yeah, you ain't gonna leave that. Oh, nice save there. So great. Totally under control. She breathed for a moment there. And now she has her... Oh! Got a little bit, 700 million plus the bonus. This might put her over 800 million. That was a fantastic ball for me. That was an incredible video mode. Like I said, sometimes video modes are unexpected ways to get big points. And this is James' tournament life right now. Yep. And let's see what she's got. She's still in Tatooine. So what I imagine she's going through, she's probably going to maybe hit those ramps, of course. And depending on where she's from, she's probably going to maybe backhand that Zestar. just to be on the safe side. Because although it's makeable from the right flipper most of the time, it's hard to quite dial in that Death Star shot. What she's doing is going to the right ramp here. She has to hit three lifts. Well, if she hits the right ramp, she'll also like the hyperspace hurry-up because it's also blinking yellow. and the hyperspace hurry up is also the same shot as the Tatooine ramp collect, and that would be a hefty sum of points if she does talk the hyperspace hurry up. Oh, another nice save of that in there. Yeah, she just really can't make him a favorite. All right, let's breathe for a moment. Let's breathe for a moment. Think about it. Post-passion. Right rim. Yep. Nice. Nailed that. Get the multipliers over. Oh, what? Oh, my. Oh, my gosh. That was the outlay. So, congratulations to Anna Neal. And we're the team for their amazing play. A great, great, great game. Great final. Great tournament overall. This is fantastic. And I think we're going to cut over to the awards ceremony. Congratulations to all the players who played.
