Warning, the following episode contains adult language and screaming goats. Listener discretion is advised. The Pinball Network is online. Launching The Pinball Show. Hello and welcome back to the Pinball Show's Top Stories. I'm Craig Bobby. Well, as the pinball world waits with bated breath for the first official live stream of Stern Pinball's newest James Bond 007 machine later this week, The time is growing closer for one of the world's largest and longest running pinball expositions in the 38th Annual Pinball Expo from October the 19th to the 22nd. The expo will be held once again in the beautiful, okay not so beautiful, the scenic, okay, well not so scenic, how about the suburban contemporary location of the massive Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg Illinois This year expo is boasting a revamped vendor and free play area women's and men's tournaments, seminars, factory tours of Stern and Jersey Jack, as well as countless other activities and things to check out. Let's face it, if you're a pinball fan and can't get excited about this event, Tied into the expo is a new live charity stream called Flipping the Script on Autism on Thursday, October the 20th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. to help raise money for children with autism, bringing together many of your favorite pinball media personalities, including the Loser Kids, the Pinball Network, the Poor Man, Rachel Risto, Amanda Hamilton, George Fisher, Jen Ruper, Zach Mennie, and others, all the major pinball manufacturers and special guests like Keith Elwin, Eric Minier, Steven Bowden, Dwight Sullivan, Jerry Thompson, Roger and Josh Sharpe Marc Silk and I sure many other drop along the way There also a secret live auction with tons of very cool pinball merchandise that you can bid on that is up and running right now until the end of the charity stream You gotta check this auction out with so many amazing items including a one of a kind Mars Attack prototype playfield music from the Transformers that is autographed and signed by none other than the director Michael Bay himself and composer Steve Jablonski. There's trans lights, t-shirts, mods and so many other pinball related swag. It's a great place to do a little pre-Christmas shopping or just pick up some very cool stuff while supporting a great charitable cause. You can find all this information and more on the Flippin' the Script on Autism Facebook page or head on over to the 32auctions.com backslash Flippin' the Script website to start to bid on your favorite items posted there now. I'll be in attendance this year as well for my first expo, helping with this charity stream and hanging out with all the great men and women who are part of this fantastic hobby. Hope to see you all there! Speaking of the Pinball Expo despite ongoing difficulties in manufacturing due to international supply chain hardship Pinball Brothers officially announced that it will be bringing prototypes of Queen live in concert to the Pinball Expo this year while they will have their own booth showcasing Queen as well as the LV and SV versions of Alien and possibly some new sneak peeks of their next unannounced title And lastly, Gerry Stellenberg, the founder of Multimorphic Pinball Company, shared a fairly large business update this past week to its customers, stating that the company has been steadily growing its production team and increasing its manufacturing speeds, but it is still struggling to catch up on production. Even though Multimorphic has increased its production speed and is beginning to chip away at its order backlog, lead times for new orders of its new recent Weird Al Yankovic title remain at 12 to 13 months. However, despite that sobering reality check, Multimorphic continues its new game development with plans to release two new full-featured P3 modules in 2023. Say what? Well, that's all for this week. Hope to see you all at the Chicago Pinball Expo. I'm Craig Bobby. Catch you on the flip side.
