Merry Christmas! Santa here, and hello and merry doodah to my favourite loser kids. You really are my favourite losers. It's been lovely to hear interviews and stories about something other than playfield chipping. So Scott and Joshua, thank you for everything. And to all you loser kids, Merry Pinball Christmas! Ho, ho, ho! Oh, Rudolph! This ball's stuck in the scoop again. And that spotlight's broken off again. And that decal's peeling. Oh, this hobby's exhausting! Merry Christmas. Thank you, Santa Claus, for that intro. And thank you, everyone, for joining us. It is our Christmas episode, episode number 75. I am Josh Roop on the Loser Kid Pinball Podcast with me, my co-slay writer... Scott Larson. I didn't know we had a sleigh, but sure, why not? Are we doing like a Kristoff and Anna thing? Maybe. Can I be Olaf? Yeah. And I'm going to pull a page right out of the Poor Man's Pinball Podcast book. I see that you have a mug there. What are you drinking tonight, Scott? Well, it's hot cocoa. I've actually been getting over a cold, and my airway is such that every time I get a cold, it cements crud right below my larynx, and I have a chronic cough for about a month, which is absolutely terrible. So right now I'm into that cement mucus phase, and it feels like I've been chain smoking for about 30 years. Nice. That's probably way more. So I'll probably be jumping for the mute button many times when I'm trying to clear my voice. Nice. Well, how am I supposed to follow that up? Oh, no. Do you have some mucus that you're sipping there? Well, I was going to lead into what I am drinking. I know that we don't drink alcoholic beverages. And so Orbital Albert from Pinball Nerds swears by this. You can see in the camera. It says eggnog. Yeah. But it is 60% chocolate milk, 40% eggnog. And it's pretty good. Yeah, it's pretty delicious. I drink about a cup of eggnog once a year. And it's good because I do like the taste, but it's so thick that I drink it once and I'm like, eh, okay. And then I usually end up making syrup with it or French toast. Well, it's delicious. If you haven't tried it, definitely do it the Canadian way. Okay. 60% chocolate milk, kind of thins out that eggnog, last 40% eggnog. All right. Okay, and if we're looking for getting a present for Christmas, who do we contact on that, Josh? We call our own personal pinball Santa, Zach Menny and Nicole Menny at Flip N Out Pinball. So if you're looking for that Godzilla, you've got to hook up onto his Facebook page. Because randomly, two days ago, he's like, I got a Wonka. Who wants it? you know yeah he's got games just randomly coming in so if you want that game it's that it's that time of year or drop them a wish you know it's like santa you can give them a wish list and say these are the games i'm looking for and let me know when they're available yep exactly you know what and speaking of what which scott i stole santa's naughty or nice list oh does that put you on the naughty list i i don't know we will have to check here at the bottom but i saw some notable names on here and i wanted to go over this with you see what you thought okay do wait am i do i get a vote naughty or nice is that what is that how it works yes we either vote or we can tell the people what santa is going to uh give them as a rating on naughty or nice okay before we do that though let's try and throw out a real big congratulations to colin mccalpine and bo and karen's for joining the team over at p3 multimorphic we're excited to see what you bring to the table guys yeah friends of the show and they've both been on and they've both been great guests and so we certainly look forward to their expertise they're bringing it's been so good for pinball to really absorb and incorporate these these tournament players into into what they're doing because it really does help develop the rules beyond what the casual player like you and i would appreciate they actually know how to take it to that next level and that will be really interesting because P3 is on the way up. It's still continuing to develop and continuing to change. And I really think that it'll be something really interesting in the future, if not already. You could argue it's already arrived. Yes. And I'm excited to see what they produce. It was very fun to play their product at Pinball Expo. If you haven't tried a multi-morphic game, get yourself a Texas Pinball Festival. I know for sure they'll be there. We'll be there. It's going to be a blast. And speaking of the list, I got Colin MacAlpine right here. Oh. What do you think Santa thinks of Colin? Okay. Legitimately, Colin is one of the nicest guys that I've met in person. And even though he took five of my grand champion scores, and that's only because he played five games for an hour each, I would still put him on the nice list because in the middle of him crushing all my high scores, he was still giving me instructions on how to be a better player. So I would absolutely say, and his family is super nice and super awesome. So anytime they're around, certainly hit them up. Well, and you must be reading exactly from Santa's list because it does say he's nice. He is nice. Even though he took Santa's grand champion scores as well. Yeah, well, that makes sense. Here's the question. What games does Santa play? obviously taxi uh yeah yeah so that's like his main jam isn't that like a band listening to their own music though most bands don't listen to their own music i pretty for sure iron maiden tours with an iron iron maiden pinball machine that is true that's true and it's in le pretty sure you would assume that musicians that play their music every night for hours on end for days on end over months would be sick of playing hearing their own music but hey you know what it It pays the bills, man. It does. It does. Hey, let's move down this list. I see on here the pins, Christian and Sarah Line. See, this is kind of sneaky because while I would love to say they are nice, I think they're the naughty elves. Yeah. I think they're on the, you know, okay, have you seen Prep and Landing? I have not. Okay. So if you have Disney+, it's great. There's Prep and Landing. It's an awesome Christmas show. And they have – there's two elves out there, two sets of elves. There's the prep and landing elves that actually land before Santa. They're like the advance party and get everything ready for Santa to come. And if you're on the nice list, you get the prep and landing elves. But if you're on the naughty list, you get the coal elves. And while I think they're still good, I think they would be coal elves. I think they'd be stopping off and dropping by and visiting the naughty kids. I agree. So looking at Santa's list here, it says that Sarah line is nice, but Christian line is on the naughty list. Oh. All it says next to his name is he knows what he did. Yeah. Well, he does check that list twice. Yes. So I don't know what Santa knows, but Christian, you better keep your nose clean. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's probably all those. Well, he's basically a drug dealer. He's a legalized drug dealer. So people pay him money and he knocks them out. I mean, you really shouldn't be able to do that in a civilized society. Give you the high of your life and make sure you don't die from it, right? Yeah, it's actually more of the sleep of your life, but yes. Oh, my goodness. Okay, so also here on the list, we've got Triple Drain. So Tom Graff, Joel Engelberth, and Travis Murie. There's no chance all three of those are on the nice list. no no chance huh there's no chance no okay so give give us your prediction uh well um travis uh travis kind of stiffed us at expo yeah it's true he like he didn't show up and so i'm gonna give him an incomplete because i just i really don't have a vibe yeah um you know maybe the other two you know you could do a coin flip one's nice and one's naughty yeah which one's nice so i've got here tom graff is nice yeah because of all the streaming he does for the community well absolutely yeah through fox city pinball and just the nice general guy he is along with his son so okay i guess it's a tag team there on santa's list uh as far as joel engelberth he is on the naughty list this year uh for taking too many high scores is what it says here yeah it also and he didn't he win some of the olympic stuff too something like that and for being a little too harsh on david dennis hey this is this is coming from us joel this is coming from santa you know what if you can if you can make fun of a canadian then your heart is is dark it is four sizes too small my friend i agree and then the last but not least travis murray and all it says is nice because he's trying to jump ship to join loser kids hey oh well okay so and that's pandering but you know what we take pandering on the show yes we do we accept bribes we accept pandering we we accept all sorts of constructive compliments yep so oh here's a good one you ready for this bring it gary stern who um wow that's a tough one that is a tough one because you've got the like you've got the people that you would assume would think he's naughty because of the price raising but the nice for bringing us all the sweet, sweet themes and the consistent product out the door. Wow. You know what? I think that he is... Okay, so you've seen Arthur Christmas, right? Yeah. He's like the retired Santa. Okay. Who now all he does is sit in the corner and drink vodka spiked eggnog and watches his Beatles number one diamond that sits in his office boxed. Yeah. like ready to deliver to somebody but you know he's probably never going to deliver to anybody yeah uh says here nice list it just has a winky emoji and says forever remember that night we went drinking so wow yeah okay so i guess gary and santa are on the same yeah they're drinking buddies so so that's there's a couple more names on this list i don't know should we do some more Or should we just, should we move on? Okay. Okay. Do a few more. Keith Elwin. Come on. Yeah. I mean, Keith's the golden boy. He's, he's like the Tom Brady right now of pinball. So, and he has to be on the, the nice list. Yep. But there, you know, there's gotta be a few naughty designers out there. Yep. But obviously nice. And it says, cause all the joy he brings to the pinball community. Right. The joy. Absolutely. Yeah. Except for the people who miss out on the, on his LEs. Exactly. Well, you got to know the right people, I guess. That's true. Maybe Santa will bring you and Ellie this Christmas. Ooh. So I could see Scott sitting on Santa's lap. That would be. Yeah, that would be a little awkward. That restraining order is 300 feet and no elementary schools either. Dennis Creasel. Ooh. Okay. So Dennis is neither on the naughty or the nice list, but Dennis is Krampus. Yes. So, you know, if you are not nice, then you get a visit from Dennis and probably in his Nordman underoos and he will steal your soul. Yeah. Your pinball soul. But he's still your soul. And last but not least, this is the last name I'm going to check off the list. Macho Man Randy Savage. Oh, I I would. OK, so would you rank Macho Man as is he one of the heroes? Heroes or the villains in wrestling? I never watched wrestling too much. And by too much, I mean not at all growing up. And so although I recognize Randy Savage and his sweet Slim Jims, I'm not exactly sure if he would be on the nice list or the naughty list. What would you say? All I've got here next to the list is it says that Emota is getting her nice presence this year. Emota Hardy. Well, okay. All right. So does that mean Emoto is macho? Who knows? I don't know. I would love to hear Emoto try to do the macho voice. I'm telling you, man. Macho pinball. It could be. That would be a twist that I would not have predicted. Yep. Well, that wraps it up for Santa's Christmas list. If you want to see the naughty or nice list, you're going to have to break into his North Pole. What I want you to do is – so here is what we want from you guys. We want feedback to tell us who is on the naughty and nice list and why. Yeah. Just put it in the comments of our episode or you can send us an email at loserkidpinballpodcast Well you should send it because we should at least read it Yeah so yeah send us an email loserkidpinballpodcast at gmail We read these out You nominate who's on the naughty and nice list, and we'll go from there. Yeah. So, awesome. You know, speaking of naughty or nice, we got to meet in person a gentleman by the name of Glenn Glenn Waechter. We even roomed with Glenn. We did. He totally – because Lee had to work or something, and so Glenn was able to hook us up in the room. And since I was the ranking elder statesman, you guys let me have the bed the whole time, which was nice. Glenn is very artistic. I don't know if you know this. And we reached out to him, and I gave him a challenge. And I said, Glenn, I know that you're moving. I know you're having – you're chock full of busyness right now. It is the season, but I want to hear the 12 Days of Christmas pinball edition. And he did not fall short. We're going to listen to that right now. Oh, hey, Josh and Scott. It's Glenn in Nashville. I'm just sitting by this fire, singing to my Yule log, thinking about all the great episodes you guys made for us this year. Fun interviews. I thought I'd sing you a song about all the other podcasts I also appreciate. So, here we go. On the first Christmas podcast from Marty and Ryan C, a Christmas episode of Head to Head for me. On the second pod for Christmas, I got stuff from Orby, two goats from Nova Scotia, and a Christmas episode of Head to Head for me. Oh, shoot, I forgot about Bruce Nightingale. Awesome. Okay, and Bruce is actually in, I think he was in Disney World this week or last week. So, I don't know, he was posting, so who knows. Yeah, yeah, I don't think Bruce is too sad right now, but that was awesome. Certainly lots of great podcasts out there. Yeah, that was awesome. I think I could hear the fire crackling in the background. You could. You could. It was very impressive. I love the ambiance that he brought in with that. What you guys didn't see, it was a video he sent in. It was all shirtless. Oh, well, that makes sense. Yeah, that doesn't surprise me one bit. Bearskin rug, fireplace. It had candlelight. It was pretty good. Do you know what I found I figured that I totally forgot about again this year is the pin side secret Santa stuff. Have you ever done that? I have not. I keep forgetting because I know it's a sign up. But I saw that someone gave someone a pinball machine. I did see that. Yeah. Crazy, huh? Well, I had to ask him, like, is that for real? Did someone really do that? So there are some really nice people out there. That's a level of niceness. I think that's someone trying to bribe their way into heaven. They must have some bodies buried somewhere if they're willing to send someone a pinball machine. Or they got it home and the missus was like, what is this? Yeah, maybe the mister. You know, who knows? Yeah. The significant other. The significant other was like, what is this? And they were like, oh, I was holding this for a friend. I'm shipping it out soon. Either that or the significant other came home and the recipient said, guess what my secret Santa gave me? Exactly. Exactly. Okay, so I think we got to the bottom of that one. I think we did too. Well, it really has been a wonderful year. We've done 25 more episodes this year. And it just seems like we've got a great fan base that has just listened and responded very well. we appreciate everyone that has chipped in give us your opinions or compliments or complaints i know that i don't speak very well uh because i'm from utah and we do not pronounce our t's okay so i actually have to like i don't know and right it's not hunting it's hunting hunting yeah i i guess i'm kind of a victim because i was in choirs for years so they always made us enunciate yes and I need to work on, I need to do the, uh, the speech talk in the van while I'm driving around and work. Right. So, but no, we appreciate everything that you guys do out there. And really, uh, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be doing the show. I know we have fun with it and whatnot. Uh, but it is being a part of the community and, and just laughing with our friends and whatnot and be able to enjoy it. You know, uh, what's your, what's your Christmas wishes scott who um you know my my christmas wishes is for a couple things for pinball i want pinball to find a way to make location pinball um i guess more accessible again yeah i know that we have uh basically they found these specialty locations like you know barcades and and uh co-ops and whatnot. I want to see the day when we see pinballs a little bit back into the wild. Because when we were kids growing up, you would see them and you'd go into either 7-Eleven or something, you'd see one. You just don't see them anymore unless you seek them out. So that would be my first wish. My second wish would be everybody who's trying to get a hold of that grail pin or that that pin that is uh scratching um hopefully we'll be able to find that itch and be able to send that machine off i know that uh popularity is up and up which hey if you're gonna choose a problem that's a pretty good problem to have is that there's so much demand for pinball that it's increasing uh disproportionately to this to the supply um I would also like to be able to I guess chill out a little bit like can we tone down the rhetoric in people's own projects and just say hey can we play some pinball and focus on what makes the game great as opposed to what divides us and those would be my three wishes. What about you Josh? You know as far as it all goes there's a lot of chaos going on in the world a lot of confusion i my my wish is just the community comes better my wish is that the community comes together a little better um there's no reason to be fighting each other when there's so much like division and tribalism going on that's the one cool part about pinball even though technically pinball is like a tribe there's so many different fractions of tribes within the tribe right yeah and so like even going to pinball expo if you haven't been to a major show like tpf or pensanity or pinball expo get out there go check it out and see that the hobby is not as fractured as what sometimes you'd see on pin side or what you hear from other uh podcasts and whatnot it is truly an awesome hobby to be a part of and uh i know we all have our complaints there's more that unites us yeah yes I know that everyone has their complaints, but honestly, at the end of the day, pinball brings us all together, and it's something that we all enjoy. That's why we're here. Right. I don't know if I really have much more wishes than that. I'm pretty happy with everything else. I wish my cold would go away. I don't believe me there. I kind of wish, so we haven't told the audience this yet, though. Our Loser Kid hats in the red, white, and black will no longer be available because they discontinued that line. So I wish I could have at least got one last order in that I ordered six months ago. But if you have one of those hats, I guess you now have a limited edition Loser Kid hat. And so we'll be working on getting some new colors together. but I think we'll probably stick on the same route with like a gray, black, and a red. Yeah, those are good colors. And it's a really comfortable hat, so I think we'll stick with that hat. Yeah. Okay, I actually have one more wish list. All right, you give us that wish. Okay, and my final pinball wish is that the Rush pinball machine will be great because I don't want to buy it and then say, oh, I wish it were. It's hard as a fanboy because your expectations are so high. It's like Star Wars fanboys every time a new Star Wars comes out. It's nearly impossible to actually match the hype of what you want it to be versus what it is. I hope for everyone else, too, especially Tom Graff, that Rush will be awesome. And rumor has it we'll see it before the end of the year. It's about the right time. Yep. My guess is we need Tuesday or Wednesday next week. we'll see ta-da merry christmas so so our last episode we put out the challenge anyone that wanted to wish anyone else a happy or happy holidays merry christmas happy kwanzaa happy hanukkah you're welcome to send us you're welcome to send us in a clip uh we have plenty of people that responded to the call we thank those that sent us some clips and we will share those christmas wishes right now. Hey there, Loser Kids. This is David from Silver Ball Chronicles over on the Pinball Network. I have to say that I only have one Christmas wish this year, and that is that nobody in the pinball hobby has to listen to Joel Engelberth again. Over on the Triple Drain Pinball Podcast, Joel is probably the worst person currently in pinball. Thanks for another great year Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all your listeners except for Joel if he's listening he's the worst holy crap happy holidays ladies and gentlemen it Jack Danger of Deadflip I wanted to wish you all a Happy Holidays And my Christmas wish for this year is that you all just be frickin' nice to each other. You dorks. I love you. And go play pinball. Oh, and, you know, buy every pinball machine I ever make from now on. I love you. Goodbye. Happy Holidays. Goodbye. What is up, everybody? It is Pinball Jen from No Coin Drop Required. And I just wish that everybody has a nice and safe holiday this season. And we can look forward to a whole bunch of Whoppers next year. So I'm really excited that things are finally starting to get back, hopefully, to a somewhat new normal. But I wish that everybody is just having a nice, safe, happy holiday. Playing some pinball. Maybe it's virtually. Maybe it's in person. Whatever the case may be, I hope that you and yours are super happy, super safe this holiday. And we look forward to seeing you in 2022. Bye. Hey, guys. Josh Sharpe here. A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you both and to all your listeners. asked for Christmas pinball wishes for this year, next year. Man, I think I'm just wishing that I'll be in Florida in May for the World Championship. So I may use my birthday and Christmas wishes both on that because I am itching to get back out there. Happy holidays, boys. Take care. this is martin from the final ramping ball podcast i'm jeff teolis i'm also from that little podcast and it's great to be on this little podcast one we love very much loser kid pinball that's right it's loser kid right yes insert the name we love it um but no scott and josh it's funny we both love them but not the same like i totally think scott's the cat's meow whereas you wish him quite honestly dead. That's actually, it's not true. I don't wish that. You put me in these situations and someone had to perish and it was Scott because Josh obviously loves me more. Because he picked you up in Utah, right? Is that why? Well, you know, he drove three and a half hours or something it was just to meet me. Scott flew to Guatemala. You're so selfish. Yeah. I mean, I know this is about them, but look what he does for all those wonderful kids in Guatemala. Did he fly to Guatemala to meet me? No. So, you know, there you go. But you're right. We do love both of them. We love their podcast. It's one of my regulars that I like to listen to. Whenever you want to hear Keith Elwin, I mean, it's great to get that fix. Their love for Deep Root. Yep. No, but it was nice for me this year because I finally got to meet both the guys. I know you've met them both before, but I saw them at Chicago Expo and very delightful. Got the gear, so I'll be wearing Loser Kid shirt and hat and appreciate that. But they do put a lot of smiles on faces everywhere, ours included. Absolutely. The production quality of this show is fantastic. The topics are really interesting. They're interesting as well, which is really half the battle won. But, you know, that's why they got a TPN award last year for best podcast. so maybe again. Who knows? Anyway, we look forward to 2022. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Thanks for everything you do, Scott and Josh. Hi there, Loser Kids. It's Ron and Bruce from the Slamtail Podcast. Hey there. You know, this holiday time of year, I like to look forward to the next year, to what games I'm going to get. So Bruce, what games are you going to get in 2022? Godzilla Premium! Ah, probably won't get that until 2023. Got any others? Elvira House of Horrors. Uh, no, probably also 2023. One more. I know the boys, big support of these guys. Definitely going to go for it. Raza! You don't follow the news at all, do you? No, not really. Well, our pinball dreams might not come true, but hopefully yours do. Goodbye, Ron. Happy holidays, everyone! Hi, this is Steven Bowden from American Pinball and FunWithBonus.com wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. My pinball wish is that the community continues to grow as more and more people see the magic that makes the hobby and sport of pinball great. Also, if you would allow me a little bit of bias, I would love to see more American pinball games out there for the pinball population to enjoy. Right now, I'm just thinking about what it would be like to do commentary on a four-player match of, let's say, Legends of Valhalla in an A-Division final of a major tournament. or better yet, being a member of that final playing for a championship. I'm looking forward to seeing you at a pinball event or tournament in the new year. Always be cashing. Hello, Loser Kids. This is Tim Lee, and I'm here with my wife. Amy Lee. And we're here to talk about Christmas Pinball Wishes. We actually had a pretty cool segment all set up and ready to go for you, but our teenage kids were being buttholes, so we had to go a different direction. So I grabbed Amy and we're here to talk about pinball Christmas wishes Wait, I'm your second option? You're always my first option, my love Are you sure about that? Because when we met in college It took you three months to realize I was parking beside you to get you to notice me I'm not very observant And in college, that happened a lot What? Okay, so anyways, we're here to talk about Christmas pinball wishes What is your Christmas pinball wish? Halloween Like the holiday? Like the pinball machine. Yeah, that's kind of an expensive pinball machine. I don't care. I want Halloween. You realize, like, people are selling it in droves. I don't know why. I'm guessing there's issues with it. I don't care. You don't care about what? That there's issues. You can fix them. That's easier said than done sometimes. Okay, so what's a realistic Christmas pinball wish? Halloween. Well, I was being a little more realistic. I kind of wanted a pin map or maybe a banner. I really like banners. And they have this Tesla mod somewhere on pin side for the Godzilla machine with like the high tension wires and so forth. I have no idea how you can get that. Much cheaper than Halloween. I still want Halloween. All right. That's not going to happen. I do have one pinball wish, though. That's maybe two pinball wishes. I would actually love for somebody to pay me crazy money for my Godzilla limited edition. So that option's out there. And I also thought I wouldn't mind trading Adam's family for a Transformers and a Star Wars Data East. Not sure if that would happen, but that's my pinball wish. I still want Halloween. All right. Well, this isn't going as I expected. Loser kids, we love you. That's our Christmas wishes. Thank you. Halloween. Halloween for Christmas it is. See ya. And Drew sucks at pinball. Oh, now what? Hey, Jeff and Joe, Scott and I were wondering if we could ask a favor of you. We're getting clips together for a Christmas episode, and we were wondering if you would record a clip of what your Christmas pinball wishes are. What? If you do want to, please keep it family friendly. Family friendly. I think we were the only podcast out there that was family friendly. Well, except for the last episode. I still feel like I've got a hangover. Let me call Joe. Hello? Who is this? Who's this? You don't have my number on your phone? You call me all the time. You should have the number on your phone. On the phone? Do not. Messenger, maybe. Okay. Okay, well, maybe there's a reason for that. Anyway, did you get the message from Loser Kid on Facebook? I did. Yeah, you want to do that? Yeah, this is past the date. They're still going to have their own. Yeah, but you know, I'm late with everything. You know that. It's fine. They'll be fine. If they want to run it, great. If not, they don't. Whatever. I thought I retired from podcasting. No, don't take it. This is special. Okay, so this is like the, you know, we'll get back to the Pinball Players podcast for one little thing for these guys. because, you know, we kind of like them. Anything for the loser kids. Yeah, I suppose. Okay, so I'll go first as for what I want with my Christmas pinball wishes. And these are wishes that are just not going to happen, but it's still what I want. I want a Price is Right pinball machine. I don't care, Stern, if you don't think there's an audience for it. I do. This might be the only pinball machine I ever actually buy. And I want you to have two editions. I want the Bob Barker Classic Edition. That can be like your LE or whatever. And then I want the really bad host, Drew Carey, because that's what everybody's going to expect. Because I don't know, some people think he's actually good at what he does. And make that your premium, not even your premium, make that the pro. But the premium in the LE, that's Bob Barker, because he is the greatest emcee of all time. Wow, I'm fired. You don't like him? Drew? He sucks. He's the worst. He only got the job because the CEO of CBS at the time wanted him to be the host of the show for some stupid reason. Now I'm going to go off because I wanted to be a game show host because they always had radio guys being game show hosts. Every single one of them, Bob Barker used to be a radio host, Tom Kennedy, Monty Hall, they all did radio. Now they get people like Alec Baldwin, Strahan, and Drew Carey hosting The Price is Right, and he's terrible at it. Sorry, I'm done. That's what I want. You're making me angry, loser kids. I agree, that would be cool I disagree that you don't think that there's an audience for that and I can't really say if Drew's good or not because I have not watched but when you talk about the other hosts what's-her-name's really good on Press Your Luck Elizabeth Anks is the only good game show host current day I agree with that Steve Harvey's okay, but they've turned that Family Feud into a match game Why did we get on the game shows? What's your pinball thing they want? I got things to do. Move along. I just want to talk to you, Jeff. My Christmas wish would be Lord of the Rings Vault. Oh, God. So it's not so expensive. I've had a chance to buy a Lord of the Rings recently, but I cannot. Even though it's my favorite game, I can't. I'm expending $7,000 or $8,000 for one. It's just I can't justify that. but if it was $7,000 or $8,000 for a new one with LCD and all that stuff with it, I'd definitely pay that kind of money for that. Never going to happen, but keep dreaming. Yours isn't ever going to happen. Mine isn't even going to happen. Christmas wishes dashed again, just like when I never ended up getting that Dungeons & Dragons when I wanted it as a kid. Then when I finally did, no one would play with me. Aw, Jeffrey. I know. It's the thing so much. I'd play with you. There you go. Well, there you go, Loser Kids. You're welcome. Thanks. Appreciate what you do. You're still probably the best podcast out there because we're gone. Pinball Players Podcast. Thank you so much for listening. Yeah. Later, guys. Bye-bye. Bye-bye-bye. That is coming out. My Christmas wish is, uh, I'm looking forward to getting the new mixer that I've asked for so that this podcast can come. So Tom's voice can tickle the ears of all of our listeners, even in a, in a more crisp and clean fashion. Oh, maybe I should wish for some sexy phlegm voice. some sexy flim boys. Okay. And I also wish that Travis can learn how to say the word tour. I hate you guys. Merry Christmas, everybody. Merry Christmas! So we like to give special thanks to all the people who sent in clips including David Dennis who does the silver ball Chronicles uh Glenn Glenn Waechter who did the 12 days of uh Pinsmith uh Jack danger, you know, Jack, uh, Jen Rupert, uh, Josh Sharpe, uh, Marc Silk, who did that excellent intro, uh, slam tilt, Steven Bowden, who by the way is having the best end of the year compared to the beginning of the year, uh, Tim and Amy Lee and triple drain. Uh, we really do appreciate it. And we have loved with all the friendships that you guys have forged throughout the years. And I forgot to put one more on the list, Scott. Final round. Yeah, final round. Yeah. Martin and Jeff. Scott still loves you, Martin, even though you didn't fly to Guatemala just for him. No, it's okay. It's okay. I feel it. I'm hurt a little bit, mainly in my voice because I'm dying. But, you know, maybe that's why he chose me because he knew I was already on death's door. Yep. So no, it's all good. But seriously, in all sincerity, we appreciate the time you guys put out and we certainly enjoy your product. So thanks again for the submissions. Yep. All right. And we'd like to thank everybody who shared a link to our episode. We actually had a total of 35 submissions. And we'd like to thank everybody. That really does actually help get our numbers out there and get people listening. and we were able to get three people to get the awards. And the first thing is I'm going to put it myself. I have a few pieces of Loser Kid Swag that I will be able to cobble together some sort of prize group. And let's start off with the first one, which who's the first winner, Josh? You're not going to believe this, but our first winner is Tom Graff. Oh, wow. Okay. Well, he is on the nice list, right? He is on the nice list. Yeah. Well, hey, friends of the show will help friends of the show. And legitimately, it was a random number generator. So, all right, Tom, contact us and we'll figure out. I either have a shirt or a hat or keychains or something like that. We even have some earrings if you roll that way. Yep. So, that will be the first prize. Okay, second prize, Josh, who is it? uh josh hundley josh hundley all right hundley you want amando trans light yeah so we will we will get with you i have your email and we'll get with zach and we'll get you taken care of there and josh what's the best way to light that translate you know brad hunter with lit frames is pretty legit i he i got one of his frames for my tna trans light and it is fantastic like the kids love it so if you're looking for some way to light that trans light i highly suggest brad hunter to do it for you that's right okay and so for the ultimate prize the banner who takes home the wall banner josh the wall banner is amanda peel all right amanda so congratulations thanks for everyone that entered we got a pretty good chunk of people that that submitted so yeah thank you for uh entering and also thanks again for those that submitted christmas wishes we really appreciate you sending in those clips i know i asked some friends to send in some and thanks for thanks for zach and nicole for putting up uh two of the three prizes i mean that was that was really generous of them those that those are actually high value prices so he's uh he's a bigger spender than i am i guess i mean i'm giving you some some swag but he's actually giving you some something that people will buy so the real question is do you think that zach will ever let us give away anything on the show ever again if Keith Elwin overtakes his number one spot yeah glenn Glenn Waechter is on a mission and uh we might be crowning a new media champ on our channel i think that zach would just have to come back on yeah sure you know zach likes the challenge he likes to chase right yes he does yeah he's he's enjoyed uh having uh having Keith Elwin be the Josh Sharpe to to his zach has a vote has enjoyed being the Keith Elwin to Keith Elwin's Josh Sharpe that was very in the interception of you yes inception of your interception yes it was also inter interception of you a fumble ruski yeah yes yes so well i'm high on cough syrup so well i should probably let you get to bed i really appreciate you as a co-host scott it has been awesome we are wrapping up this is our third year we're getting ready to start our fourth and it's been an awesome ride right you know it's the best part about it is we have met so many people from diverse walks of life and I love that the pinball table is getting bigger and bigger as we add more seats and legitimately we're going to have differences we're going to have different cultures we're going to have different perspectives but I'm glad that we we share something in common and we can still react in a civil way and um I I'll even put it out there we uh we hung out with uh with Chris from Canada at Pinball Expo. And we genuinely had a great talk. And so even people that tend to have a polarizing effect on people can still find common ground and talk about things that make us more alike than different. And I'm truly humbled and grateful that anybody spends any time to you and I, who we're good friends and we just like talking pinball. and I'm truly humbled that anyone is willing to commit the hour and be that silent partner to listen to us and to be involved in the chat and it's it's just been so nice that we've met so many great people and I feel that there there is a legacy of fellowship that comes with that I think you you worded it perfectly I don't know if there's really much I want else to add to that Um, it's, it's been an awesome ride. So no, we're not quitting. I know Zach, Zach's like, we haven't hit a hundred episodes yet. That's when everyone quits. So we still have at least a year. You've got a year left of us. So start counting down. Yeah. I don't think you'll get rid of us too soon. And actually, uh, okay. So some pinball thank yous. I would like to thank Josh for, for starting this to get the ball going because I legitimately don't have the time. I have a lot of stuff that I'm willing to talk about, but Josh is really the one who does all the heavy lifting to make it come from the recording to be edited and sent out to you guys, and he compiles everything. So really, if there's someone who does all the heavy lifting on the podcast, it's Josh, and he's even responsible for the cool swag. We talk about it together, but he's the one who makes all the samples, and the only thing I've really had to do is say, I like that. So, um, that, that's, uh, that's my pinball. Thank you for the years, uh, Josh starting this and it's been a really fun ride. And I want to thank you, Scott. Like it's been, like I said, this has always been kind of my, uh, my escape from reality. And so I'm so glad that I could share doing this with you. Um, I've definitely made a best friend over these years and, uh, I, you know, me on the mic and off the mic and some of my, you know, personal issues and whatnot. Uh, and I've just appreciated you being there for me. Um, like I said, it's been a really, it's been kind of a rough year, you know? And so, uh, you know, it's just, I'm glad that I've got a friend like you and I appreciate that. So, and well, likewise, and legitimately I know down, um, we've talked about this before. There are people who are down, especially during this time, but legitimately, if you need someone to talk to reach out we're happy to listen we're happy to talk to you and if uh if you're hurting emotionally or spiritually or or physically however um please reach out reach out and whether or not that's finding the therapy you need or finding a counselor or just finding some way to heal your soul um that really is the best gift that you can give yourself and uh there's no shame and there's a lot of stuff that we're all dealing with. And it's been challenging, especially the last two years for everybody. So I've really appreciated this venue to reach out and just want to say that there are people who are out there. There are people who care and you make a difference whether you think you do or not. Yep. And so for those that are going to text me, there's nothing wrong with me mentally or anything like that. Just we've had a lot of deaths in the family and my grandmother that raised me helped raise me. I almost lost her at the beginning of the year. And then we almost lost her again a month ago, but she's home. She's recovering. She's doing great. So if you were going to ask that, there's your answer. Yeah. And Scott's been awesome to help with it. So yeah, it's, I mean, it's hard. We, we've all dealt with loss. We've all dealt with isolation. We've all dealt with, with people that are no longer at the table and whether or not that's through, through death or distance or, or fights and who knows, maybe finding a way to bridge those gaps. and to try to reach out to someone who you have been distanced from. Figure out a way to rebuild that connection, to build on the common ground that you have. I agree. I was just going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. And again, we are humbled and thankful for everybody who reaches out and listens to us on a biweekly basis. I mean, it really is humbling. So thank you guys so much. You guys make the show. Thank you. I'm going to wrap this up. We are Loser Kid Pinball at LoserKidPinballPodcast at gmail.com. We're also on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at Loser Kid Pinball. If you'd like to get a hold of us, you're more than welcome to via Gmail. Or if you want to get a hold of both of us, we're both on Facebook. And if you want to follow us on Insider, Josh is Loser Kid, and I am Loser Kid the number two. Yes. And so, switch up the music a little bit. Our usual intro is by The Hanks. They're some close professional friends of mine. It's their song called Cinnamon Scars. I don't know if we've ever announced that in the three years that we've done that. I didn't even know that. Yeah, they were a band that we used to tour with when I was in a band. And so I love their music. So as one friend to another, I've been using them as an intro. And then our outro music is just some license-free music we found on the internet. But this episode, I decided to go back to that well of friends. So if you enjoyed the music, this is all Christmas music. You can find on the album Punk Goes Christmas. The first song was This Wildlife with their song Sleigh Ride. Very classic Christmas. And our outro is going to be very rocking. It's August Burns Red with the Home Alone theme. So I hope you enjoy. Once again, Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Can't wait to see you in 2022 and hope that your pinball dreams and wishes come true. And see you, Texas. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
