Warning, the following program has adult language and screaming pinball people. Wait a second, no it doesn't. This is a podcast that we're doing. This is a special podcast in memorandum for our lost Patreon subscriber Don H. We wish him well as he walks into that ether, that ether and beyond with a pinball factory, punny factory under his arm and he's walking off into the sunset. Look at him go. Farewell, sir. Bon voyage. And thank you so much for the inspiration to go ahead and drop another episode here. We're gonna listen to the classic music here. This has been retired from the mainstream, but I'm bringing it to your ear stream. Coming up... Where's my drop? Oh, the new little tweet there. What's up, everybody? Hello out there in Patreon land. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. I'm excited to get the opportunity to talk to everybody again. I am in the middle of 25 days of working straight every single day in three different hospitals, two different states. It's going crazy. My brain is melting. Three months ago, this seemed like a good idea. I was like, I could always use some extra money, right? We're getting ready to pay off my wife's student loans. And I thought, you know, these opportunities come. They may not be there in the future. Let me strike. www.willywonka.com But I do that for fun, and I like to travel, and I like to have fun in this space, and that's what I do to connect with people. But I haven't been able to do that recently because I'm traveling, I'm working 24-hour shifts, 12 hours a week. You don't want to hear about my work. You guys have your own work. You want this as an escape from work. When you're heading out on the dusty trail and running laps like my boy Danny T out in Virginia Beach, The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Um, and then there's a, there's a social media mixer that Colin from the Kinetis' is throwing, and I think it's gonna be at Interium. And I'm just over the moon that I was invited to that thing. I can't wait to get there. It's, I'm just happy, like, I'm part of the conversation. I'm just happy to be here, man. Just happy to have fun in pinball, right? Well, he got de-invited to that, you know, by, uh, email. It would seem to be, like, a pretty reasonable way to do it. Hey, just, by the way, don't, don't show up. You know, try not to make a big thing about it, but let's let you know. I think Bob Betor started a live for himself to look for an excuse to cancel himself for another month or something, and who knows what he was going to do. And he was just going after Collin from the kineticist, like calling him up live on his live, and the dude's like, look I emailed you, I don't want to talk live on your live stream. And then, like, my wife has finally chimed up. She's been watching silently all this time. All unbeknownst to me, and she's like, dude, quit being a bully. This is the kind of thing that you do that makes people not invite you to stuff, right? And then he just, like, switched his focus, like, laser on her, like, you know, he's like, I've got out of shape women with pink hair that are giving me shade, and look at how flexy my bicep is. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. We know more than that. That is plenty. That's plenty. That's more than I even expect, right? I'm doing this for fun and trying to communicate the fun I have playing pinball, right? I don't want to contain it all to myself. I want to put it out there. But dude, man, they went back and forth a bit and I kind of think, I read all comments afterwards and I think Monica was being pretty reasonable Now Kotex is a direct parody of the dude You know his name starts with K Kotex starts with K He was acting a little period you know without being misogynistic So, you know, I think I thought it fit. And I swear to God, when he started ranting that, like, Don called me a tampon, I lost my damn mind. I was rolling nearly on the floor, laughing hysterically. I couldn't breathe for about five solid minutes in a normal capacity. Like the absurdity of the situation and like how hyper real he was being. And he kept saying like he called me a tampon. I can't. It's the funniest damn thing he's ever done as far as calling me a tampon. Oh my God. www.willywink.com www.willywinks.com The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. www.innditerrible.com Do lives a couple times a week and you have 600 subscribers. Why is, what's wrong with that? What's wrong with that? There's no need for this other koochamon stuff. All right, what else is going on in pinball? I've got, I heard a pretty cool rumor that's got me hyped. And I can't divulge all of the details, but I'm going to give you the gist of it. NAB espe eggs in 1999, Eastern, women in qualidade, The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. More substantial, I've heard tell that the projectors from the Stranger Things premium in L. E. they had been out of stock for a long time and then suddenly they a few months ago they showed up back as being available. Also, the four bank of drop targets which had been unavailable for a while also became available again. I didn't see this firsthand on the sites but like I've heard this from multiple people. So, you know, one could surmise that these parts showing back up in stock means like they suddenly came into a supply of them. Like maybe a bunch of them were ordered and available and there was extras and they went ahead and repopulated the site. And then I'm hearing from sources, the third hand, right, third hand information, but that this is coming and this is coming in November. Which also makes sense. We knew something was coming in November. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. We're going to run an unlimited amount of Stranger Things premiums or Stranger Things pros, but putting out 500 limited editions, that kind of feels kind of right. Like, I would not be surprised at that. I would still expect to see the next Cornerstone in January, February. Keith Elwin's supposed to be up next. And this is something that I can completely see Stern pinball doing. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Jeff and Matt Pinball, my distributor of choice. He hooks it up whenever I need a game like he's got them. So he's got my name scrawled six ways to Sunday on every list that he has. So if this thing happens, I've got a shot at getting one of these. Now let's speculate on this for a little bit. Stranger Things. Oh, you know what? I meant to look up the pin side prices. We can do that right now. Through the magic of my cell phone, which is right here. Let's see how much a Stranger Things LE is going for right now. We do pin side Stranger Things LE Man that Angry Orchard be hittin buddy Whoa what the hell did I type there It okay Third link down That was strange Usually it the first one So Stranger Things LE If you wanted to go out and get one right now on the market you are in luck There two available One just sold There was a total of three And why is everything so blurry It looks like pending in Dracula Georgia What the hell That a firm price at And then Stranger Things LE Now for fun And for fun, let's look at what the premiums are going for. A premium Stranger Things will flop down. There's also three available. We're seeing 13,000, 14,000, and 14,500. So they're kind of like... The premium and the LEs are actually the same price. I wonder if maybe these premiums have the UV kit, UV black light kit, Stern Shaker Motor, Insider Connected Pin Blades, Shooter Rods, Topper. Okay. So the premiums are coming with things like the Topper and the UV lights. I don't know if necessarily the LEs did, but there's like a broken drop target Stranger Things Pro on location at District 1 right now. And I'll just pop over to the pros real quick. There are four listed. One of them is pending at $9,500. Otherwise, $8,500, $9,000 for just the pro. Just the pro. I'm going to Milwaukee for $9,500. $9,500, 600 plays, pet free, smoke free, UV kit, topper, insider connector, shooter rod, Cleland code. Oh, okay, new pin stadiums. Wow. So actually, you know, for the... Oh, this is a pro, that's why. I would totally go in on a premium at that price, but the pros are $9,500. So are we going to see them go, look, these things are selling for $14,000 online. beimob materials.com mind its d ruby kit Only to top with a much torque manufacture a risk in disney like corporate you know what it's nearly a relatively our competition in its plus grub exactement export PremLet's go ahead and just settlement at which is what i'm hoping for a medical track down a property director last out a州 the road ilove the straight intention yard-up of the city with other run They're right behind it with an accessory drop too. So this is why I'm glad I didn't do things silly like purchase Zach Meny's multi-morphic Weird Al for, I think it's like $11,000. New with their 13.5, it's the one with the topper, although the topper needs some work he said. But I was just thinking like should I go ahead and finally get a Weird Al now? But I was like no, no, no, no, no. We are going to wait and we are going to see what comes next. I'm going to gamble on the future and if the future is Stranger Things then that money Rob Eatinggal and The AssaultM önemarket.com čポ誌aled č šur yxā BMW Civic Formula Č सा주는 st fiance Ciauj pač umči Č Pitra. Felice The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. Jens Moritz, All of this is just pinball news. But this was cool that like all the songs that are in the game are selectable now from the beginning. From the outset. And there is now a wizard mode. So I've been playing Foo Fighters in Adventure Mode I'm calling it. I got it set at 10 balls, okay? And here's why. Good players can get through this game in 3 balls. You know, at least once out of 10 plays or so. And most of the time they're getting like decent half Billy scores or higher. For me I'm not a competitive level player. I'm just not that good yet. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. The Ball 7, 8, they were kicking, man. I got all the way through the mini wizard modes, or at least one of the mini wizard modes. I got a couple of, you know, then I start getting extra balls, you start getting the foo robot multiball, you play the other multiballs a couple times, like you can get deeper into the game. You know, because when I play foo fighters, or my wife plays foo fighters, just on three balls, you know, we get one, maybe two cities, every 50 plays I'll get through a mini wizard mode, but like that's it. And it's just like, you know, get through one city, maybe a city and a half, and then game's over, start again. Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi, Tim Tim Kitzrow, I almost got a half a billion points yesterday just on three balls. So I don't think Rush is a game that needs it, but for me Adventure Mode really helps for things like Foo Fighters. So try it if you haven't done it. Just you know, hack it. Just throw the game on ten balls and like see how far into it you can get. You know, and maybe you're awesome and you can get through it on three, but you know for me it's fun to just kind of like, you know, I can have like three terrible balls and still get pretty far, you know, instead of the two terrible balls I'm walking with right now. Uh, yuck yuck. Um, I have Elvira on five balls kinda for the same reason. It lets me get through a couple of the modes and have a chance to get the gappa angry. So, uh, that's fun for me. I found that it like brings my enjoyment level to the same place that a really professional pinball player would otherwise be at. So, uh, that is, that is fun. I enjoy that. Um, I was thinking about Venom today and like this progressive code that it has, which, which I dig. I, I can't wait to get into this game and really like play through it multiple times, you know, unlock things. But I don't think, I was thinking today, like, could you take the Venom code approach and then retrofit that and put it on Foo Fighters and put it on Godzilla? And I think my answer's no. I don't think it would work just taking code that's progressive like that, save your progress and keep going. You know, I don't think it would work for a Foo Fighters. But you know, things like Foo Fighters and Godzilla, their rule set was not created with this in mind like Venom was, right? You know, because on Foo Fighters, if you save your progress and you go back in, you already NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTST NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC NTSC There a lot of things about13 2022 that we going to be talking about which I think is kind of an interesting part especially the game and the playerliter But it's a kind of interesting looking game based on a lot of the ideas you mentioned, ondan futureman based on masterminders from theализapt Because right now we're going to be talking about retro mode or more retro drive if you will, You know, likeSpider-Man from Resident Evil, or a little bit broader that kind or something like that. This is a fun bonus episode. My head is just spinning. I'm having a great time. I'm halfway through my six-day commitment down here. I'm in Baraboo, Wisconsin. It's just south of Wisconsin Dells. There's pinball machines down here. I went and saw a very dirty Ghostbusters Pro on location. Yesterday I went on that quest. No, it wasn't yesterday. The day before I went on a quest and all I found was broken machines everywhere and I posted that on Facebook. It was a good time. So, I'm hopeful to start gathering some things to send out to my Patreon people for that quarterly mailing that I really want to do. I want to send it out in a cheap envelope so it doesn't cost a ton to send these out, but you know, collect some, I want to collect some, what do you call it, postcards and things. Let me talk to my wife Monica here. Hey Monica, I'm recording a show currently for the Patreon subscribers. Do you have anything you want to say to them? All right, Monica said hi, everybody. Oh, hey, let me see if I can bring you in. Can you hear me? Oh, here, let's switch over there. Do you want to come in here live? I got you on the mix. Oh, God. Okay, hi. Hi. I did cover a little bit of the sparring match that you got in where you got Kaneda to self-cancel himself. That was hilarious. Oh, my God. I was just telling him to stop being a bully because in the end, adults need to be better role models for children. And since his legacy is open to the public, I know his son one day will look back and be like, God, he's such a bully. And also, I was just trying to be a decent person and stand up to bullies. So, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I went back and I looked at your comments and I don't think anything was like really out of sorts. It was more like, dude, this, this is the kind of thing that people are having a problem with. Like, stop it. What are you doing? Right. Right. And that's more the spirit that was intended. But then I think he was committed to self-canceling already. And then instead of blaming it on the kineticist, you know, you wander in. Right. Right, right. Well, that's when I started seeing him just get really like aggravated and his, his like, incongruent messages were just saying, Hey, I just don't care what anybody thinks. I'm going to be this vile person. So, and he was using that platform, which he had control over, because everybody's The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. I'm glad I got out and I'm happy to not go back in and you know in general I wish people well but I just don't think he's gonna find peace man not the way he's going about it. No, no there's I think truthfully there's something more deep down going on and he's having a hard time regulating or controlling his situation so it's just kind of spiraling out of control. John Popadiuk, Bob Betor, Keith Elwin, Laser Los, Bowen Kerins, Lyman F. Sheats Jr.., orbit ramps, Automated Amusements, Python Anghelo, Joe Kaminkow, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. What's your favorite right now? Lebowski. Yeah, I was going to say, which one's your favorite and why is it the big Lebowski? Oh, God. Okay, I'm not... But here's why that game is good. That game plays like, people say, like an old Bally Williams game. Like, you know, it reminds you of shots in like Whitewater or Whirlwind or something. It's just in the layout. Like, it's a fan layout, but it just feels like those old games. But that's one of the best upper playfield in pinball that I've played. My goodness, I love it. Yeah. Yeah, it's fun. The Valley Company, Subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Co., Inc., Mirco Playfields, Tim Tim Kitzrow, Scott Danesi. I'm going to call you back after I finish up this recording. Call me back. Well do. I'll talk later. All right. Okay, everyone. Don't be a bully. Put out good energy and you'll receive good energy. And I wasn't trying to take anyone down. I was just standing up and being a decent citizen, I guess. Fantastic. All right. Craft Brew Monica, thank you so much. Okay. Bye. Bye. Alright, that was some... we had a special call-in guest, and I put her on the spot. Who does that, right? Well, she called me. I guess that's a different... the consent was involved. I guess that's where we'll go there. So, thank you for listening to this special Patreon edition. I want to do more of these. I've just been literally, like, every waking moment, I'm running full blast, just trying to get from place to place, patient to patient, situation to situation, city to city, titty to titty. You know how we do in this space. Thanks for listening. Thanks for being a continued supporter and member. I do appreciate everything. I mean, this is like, seriously, this is my hat on the ground and you're walking by and you're like, this dude busks all right. Here's five bucks. Keep doing you, man. Go play some pinball. Send me some stickers. We'll hook it up. I guess should I get to my outro music? Let's do the longer outro this time. There's a little bit of a throwback. We're using the old music. We got the longer outro. This was Patreon with PatriDawn. I'm thinking of calling my arcade District Dawn, just because there's District 82, District 1, District whatever. So District Dawn Arcade will be my home arcade name. As always, just email me if you want to communicate. Is there something you want to hear? Do you want to hear more of this? Let me know. You know, Dawn H really prompted me today. And so, you know, I don't mind doing this. It's only because I finally have a moment alone relaxing in the arcade. These angry orchards be hitting, I'm going to go lay my head down and watch some garbage hotel TV, all right? Take care of yourself and each other. All right, later everybody.
