Coming up next at the Wild Dog Arcade, we're going to Galpin Ghost Arcade the first time in 10 years. How many games are there? Which ones are the best? Let's find out. Stay tuned. Galvan Ghosts, the largest arcade in the world. Second traveler. Ah, this is where they took over, I think, more space, right back here. I don't remember this being part of it. Nice. Very cool. So it goes further down that way. This goes further this way. Oh yeah, for a while this part was not part of their collection. This whole wing I believe is fairly new. At one point there was a lot of storage back here, I remember that being a thing about ten plus years ago. But yeah, pretty damn cool. Got, what is this way in the corner? Biohazard. Oh, here's an old school giant X-Men arcade cabinet. This was at Golfland. God, I was there for years. but it's as you can see it's giant one two three four five six players on two different screens and one of the screens is actually here it's just mirrored so that you can obviously see the whole thing but yeah dude There are all the classic 90s games back here. There it goes. It just keeps going. Super Zaxxon. I've never seen this one before. What is this? Wow. Wow. Gary playing Afterburner, baby. oh yeah it doesn't work i guess but hey at least the game works armadillo racing brave firefighters real life heroes oh this is different i remember this game before Lucky and Wild, I do remember that game We got Lucky O'Hare and G.I. Joe One of my favorite games right here Chase HQ, another classic Arcade Classic here Galaxy Ranger Huh Oh, s**t I forgot about this whole thing So this whole spot here that I'm standing from, right next to the street here in the storefront, there's more games. And a lot of these games I'm not really that familiar with back in this corner. So let's take a little walk. Looks like there not a whole lot of people here anyway this whole hallway here is all Neo Geo games I in heaven right now Oh Last Resort okay Art of Fighting World Heroes I mean it just goes on and on This is heaven Holy crap. I've never seen so many Neo Geo games before in my life all together here. here. Holy moly. Metal Slug. Oh man I could be here for hours in this one hallway alone. Nice. I'm gonna go have some fun with some of these games right now. Purple guy. Anyone who saw it once did. Oh. What's hilarious is that Gary and I had finished this game, and it was just sitting there. And I moved the characters forward, and now they're going to probably eventually die. I think. I don't know. With it being turned over like that, I have a feeling that neither one of our characters are going to die. That's crazy. Oh cool, I'm on the high school list. But yeah, this one's pretty fun. I like the soundtrack of this particular one. And the gameplay in general is fun. And the sound effects are really fun, like watch this. You like move forward, you can move backwards, you can move side to side. It's kind of a unique little control system you got to do. You got a warp button also. But yeah, when you hit them, it sounds really cool. And you hit the... Oh, I thought I hit the warp. What the hell? We gotta hit the board, we need to move around. Just to get out of trouble. I wonder if Gary knows... There's Gary right there. I wonder if he knows there's a Tempest machine right here. Oh, and there's wind right here too. I'm right underneath that air conditioning pole. This feels so good. Alright, so I got done playing Tempest and this thing is pretty freaking flawless. I've never seen this game that much. I'm going to play it now. There's a lot of neat vector games along this road here. This one's looking a little sad. Yeah. Oh, there's not any plastic on there. That's pretty crazy. Wonderful looking game though. Came out in 1978. I don't remember, I don't remember working with any of this. Yeah, it's like... And you got these huge keys right here. Slide control. Really loud, but cool. But yeah, Starhawk. Uh, Cinematronics. Don't know how well they did. They don't appear like there's any way to die. It's a little countdown. Let's see what happens when the countdown is over. And that's it. That's the game. Oh, okay. Either way, it looks neat because of vector graphics. Yeah. So this is the cabinet that I grew up playing. And probably one of the first games I really fell in love with as a kid in the arcades is this whole cabinet for the Star Wars game. Unfortunately, it's not working. Use the force, Luke. But as you can see, as a little kid sitting in here, this is a faggot's faggot-rad. Here's the Beavis and Butthead prototype that the game Die Alien Scum is based off of. Unfortunately it does not work. It is kind of cool to see at least sitting somewhere in here. Time Warner active. Here's a Godzilla arcade cabinet. I think it's a fighter game. Yeah. I see a little fumbos you have to do. Alright, let's give this a shot. I have to find the button. I can't find the button. Let's see if I can do this. oh here we go alright let's do let's do battle mode they're kissing oh wait no they're not stage select let's go oh okay I couldn't collect it wow Wee my tail, wee my tail. Kind of fun for a beat-em-up. So here's the classic Dungeons & Dragons arcade cabinet. it. It actually has two different games on it, which I don't think I've ever seen before. But basically it's a button smasher. A lot different from the pinball machine. Yeah, you got four players here. But I remember playing this uh... Damkoland in Milpitas, California way back when. I probably played that one right there. I don't think I've ever played that one. Kinda neat. Aliens Armageddon. Aliens... Extermination. And Aliens... It's the gun! Can't see it, but it's the gun! And boy what a gun it is. Oh, a spy hunter. Aw, too bad it doesn't work. Why is this all in the middle? What the hell? Oh, there's two screens. Okay. Huh. I don't ever remember this game. Alright, I'm going to try this. Here's another game I don't ever remember seeing. Dragon Ball Z, an arcade cabinet game. Huh. Crazy. Here's another Dragon Ball Z game. Apparently this came out in 93, probably only in Japan, I would imagine. Because at that point it was still kind of underground. It really didn't get a huge release until, well, I guess 93 actually. So who knows, maybe this was out in America somewhere. Maybe 91, actually 1991, right? Shoot, I have to look that up. Oh well. Here's something you don't see every day. Primal Rage 2. I believe this is a prototype only and it never got released and I think there was a long history behind finding this thing even and then making it available for people to play. This is kind of an unusual cabinet because I only remember playing this at Bullwinkle's way long ago. Cool little machine. This is pretty wild. 1991, never seen this game before. So here's a weird one This actually is based off of the band Journey And it's got these little faces of the band members here I like this scene in particular just because the sounds are cool and the setup is bizarre It's like the screen is way the heck up here. I kept looking down here going, okay, is there a screen down here I'm supposed to do? But no. And then it uses old parts from Tron, it looks like. This is a joystick from Tron. I don't know why I've seen this alien before. But yeah, there you go. I saw this game in Pastime Arcade, and I was kind of wondering what this was about, because it wasn't working. And what drew me to the game was this whole set up right here. Pretty much what you do in this game is you just have to fire at the balloons. These little wolves come down and you have to do that and not get shot too. Kind of fun. Kind of fun. Oh, and I got shot. I'm going to do this with one hand. This was another crazy game. You basically have to move this thing around, hit that to fire, Like that. You just move it one corner. Like that. One game, though. High score. Explosions here. Holy crap. Jesus. Wow, I don't remember this one either It's Street Fighter the movie the game but not it's Jackie Chan I don't think I've actually seen this before for Summer Showdown 2019. And the graphics on this look stunning. Like, holy crap. I'm gonna do this with two hands. Or one hand, I mean. Well, the whole job's two hands, but yeah. Yeah, pretty cool. The other thing I'll note is this thing controls really good. Like it controls as if it's the original Samurai Shodown. Or at least in this case, because of this character, Samurai Shodown like 4 or 3 or something. I don't remember. But yeah. I always found that the art on this machine was hilarious. The design of the cabin is also kind of hilarious too. Is there side art? Yeah, there's side art. Oh my god, dude. Hilarious. It's just a beat-em-up basically, as you can see. Beat-up poops. Shit. I don't remember this one either. It's like Indiana Hilton Jones knockoff by Konami. They must have put out a lot of these games specifically like this. Spent Cycle, though. I don't remember this game. Wow, this is as old as you can get. Look at those handlebars. Wow. Exactly. Thank you for agreeing with me. To accelerate, we'll push this button. Can I start it? That's the question. Ah, here we go. It doesn't really move, it just kind of goes. Uh, what? I am so confused on how to play this game. But it's cool looking. Stun cycle. Oh, here's Time Traveler. I was trying to, like, darn it, to get back to this one part, and I went into play and I couldn't do it. Fun game. Kind of weird. Let's see. Ah, some weird malfunction.
