The long-awaited official topper for Stern Pinball's super-popular Godzilla pinball machine will make its debut on Tuesday May 30th at 9:00 AM Central Time. At that time distributors will receive photos, videos and a detailed description of the topper. Not only will the toppers be revealed that day, they are already in stock and will begin shipping to dealers then as well. The topper will work on all three models of the game, Pro, Premium and Limited Edition. The official Godzilla topper will be a lot cheaper than the Mandalorian and Rush toppers, with an MSRP of $999, compared to $2,000 and $1,699.99 for those two. While I haven't personally seen it yet, that leads me to believe that it will be less fancy than those toppers in terms of movement and effects. I would guess that Godzilla will have some sort of topper-exclusive mode or multiball as has been the trend lately, but again I don't know that for certain. At this time, Stern Pinball does not have a second run of the topper planned after this initial batch but the Company has told distributors that it does intend to produce more based upon demand.
