TL;DR

Pinball Oz Wide Episode 3: expos, gameplay, hardest shots, and secondary market pricing collapse analysis.

Summary

Australian pinball podcast discussing community updates, Melbourne and Tasmania pinball expos, Game of the Month selections (Game of Thrones Premium and Ghostbusters), hardest pinball shots (Tron's Gem, Ghostbusters PKE ramp), and secondary market pricing trends showing significant value declines in A-grade titles like Circus Voltaire, Medieval Madness, and Foo Fighters Limited Edition machines.

high confidence · Jared and Matt directly discussing Newcastle sale and noting machines 'used to hover around 11'

  • Foo Fighters Limited Edition sold for $16,500 without topper (implying $4,000+ loss from new pricing of $20,500)

Welcome everyone to our third Pimble Auswide podcast. I hope everyone's well. As usual, I am Jared, joined here by Matt. We've got a little bit to go through, I think this month, possibly. I don't know. We'll run through it, see what happens. But as always, I think you like to thank people and say g'day. Yeah. Well, first of all, language warning. So any young ears listening, there could be some swear words in here, so we'll try and keep it civil. We fucking will not. Yeah, we won't, will we? Fuck that. So anyway, yeah, thank you once again to all the listeners and everyone who's liked, subscribed and shared. I guess they are subscribing aren't they to Spotify I think we've had a good response I don't know what to expect because this is the first time we've done this I mean we won't go into listens and people who have subscribed yet because I think they're still very low numbers There's numbers They're in the double digits, we're not at the triple digits yet No, well we've made triple digits as a combined listens which is always nice So thank you, guys. We're getting a few. Hopefully, those that listen, just click that subscribe button. Like, it can't be that hard, surely. Can't be that hard. But, yes, thank you to everyone. I just want to lead off quickly, Matty, if I can. I just want to make a correction on last month's podcast. We were talking about OG Metallica to the new one, and I made mention that the – I think they're inline drops. Is that what you call them? Yeah, the inline drops, yep. Inline drops, which is the cross. I said that I thought the new ones were sticking a little bit further out but they're exactly the same OG to new so that was my mistake not that anyone has berated me over it because we still don't get emails so if you want to email me and berate me do so pinballozwide at hotmail.com but yeah otherwise that was my little correction that I just wanted to make because I misstepped with that what's been going on? What's your month been up to? My month has been busy with kids and school holidays. Two weeks and then three days back to school and another long weekend. And then we had Anzac Day and Easter and everything else. I must admit, I don't think we've seen each other for... Well, since the last podcast. Four, five weeks or so. Which is very unusual, isn't it? Very. And then we haven't seen each other since nil. I don't think we've had a flip since nil. Well, we haven't had a flip in each other's homes in probably two weeks prior to nil as well. so we're talking a good eight weeks, isn't it? Yeah, well, you're always busy. Kids, mate, so are you. So, no, I've just been busy with the kids. Haven't played as much pinball as I want. I just add in the garden all the time. There's always something to do in the garden. There's always branches or leaves to pick up because of the wind and a lawnmower to sit on and just drive around and drink beer. So someone's got to do the hard work. The only time you can drink and drive safely. That's correct. Maybe not safely, but... I make sure I do around the dam before I get on the beers. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But in general, yes, I just haven't played as much as I want to. I just haven't found the time. But I still have been playing. But most of the time I've played is with the kids. So they just want to keep them entertained. And a Map Cave update, have we got anything going with that? I've been lazy. I just haven't made the... I'm sure the listeners are hanging to hear stuff going on. I still haven't progressed anywhere with the map cave, but it will happen. So the target is for the end of the year. Hopefully it should be done. Okay. And no, I still haven't bought a digger yet, because I've now decided I'm going to get a different one from a local company. Okay. Because otherwise I was going to be dealing with someone in Queensland. Yeah. So I've now decided there's a company, local Melbourne, so I'm going to go and buy one of these ones instead. Okay. Nice. Good. And what about yourself, Jared? What have you been up to this month? The same. To be honest, I mean, school holidays came and went as we did and as we just said, along with Easter and everything. Look, as I said last time, I try and play a fair bit. The only thing I did do is I have a little MAME machine arcade that was in my home theatre area, which is just a separate room, so it sounds fancy, but it's not. It's just a room that we call home theatre because that's what it was called on the plans. So anyway, it hasn't worked for a bit. got it back up and running, which was nice. Need to get a front end sorted with it, which I've reached out to a few people and going to drop something off on Friday, which is good. So hopefully that'll give it a nice crisp finish. But yeah, I just moved that back into the garage, to be honest, with the rest of my stuff. Just, I don't know, just wasn't getting played where it was. And I thought maybe if I can get it fixed and up and running, it might get played a bit more in the games room. So I did that. put on some super bands on my Dada East Simpsons, played that as we chatted about which stuck like brilliant they were really really good, I don't know if people out there love super bands or Titans or the standard natural ones but yeah I like the control and the feel that you get from super bands without a doubt that's all running all my machines yeah I've got all of mine too which is funny I was going through some stuff looking for a cliffy and I saw some blue ones I'm like oh I could have just thrown some blue ones on it but the red that you gave are brilliant so thank you man I appreciate them apart from that yeah it has been quiet-ish as I said I mean we're doing this on a what are we on a Wednesday today so we're going to catch up after this and have a bit of a flip which will be nice and then hopefully this podcast will be out in a couple of days again I've got a few things to do personally tomorrow and Friday so you're not going to be bugging me tomorrow to upload it I might be I do bug you a bit don't I I just like to get shit done I like it done too I'm a bit impatient with everything in this world I like to listen to podcasts first before I upload see I don't listen to it first because I've edited it so it's like I can't be fucked I think I do listen to just sort of where I edit to make sure it's a smooth enough transition but otherwise, yeah, I don't think I listen to it I rely on you to give me that feedback So that's why it takes me another hour or so to get back to you That's why I haven't uploaded it Yeah, I know, I know I'll be more patient, apologies I am known for my impatience So yes, that was my month So once again, the Melbourne Expo has been announced for this year which is being held at the Matthew Flinders Hotel again this time it's for three days on the Friday the 7th Saturday the 8th Sunday the 9th of November yep so they've increased it by a day another day which is fantastic yeah it's good George Had does all of that which is good they also have a Harry Potter CE door prize to give away so I'll be definitely buying a couple of tickets for that well I think they go on South 1st of July by memory so yeah both myself and Jared will be there as well so we will we're actually there in sort of we were asked by George to be kind of an official type representative isn't it representative yeah yeah yeah so we'll be going around we're discussing what we're going to be doing if we're going to be doing a live podcast there in a quieter area or if we're going to do a live feed walking around doing a live feed I think we will I think a live feed is probably good straight to the page I think that would be fun to do for people to have a bit of a look at and suss out which day. But, yeah, I think George wanted us there for some unboxings as well. Yes, pretty exciting. Yeah, so he was talking about having a Harry Potter there. So we might be able to do an unboxing of a Harry Potter at the time, which would be really, really nice. But, yeah, on a Thursday, so we'll set up and do a few things, either go live or do some sort of video of some of the unboxings of the new machines. We're also thinking of having some merch there for Pinball Worldwide. So honestly, if anyone is interested in it, give us some feedback and it will encourage us to get some merch there and some new designs and quality stuff. We haven't done it in a while. Even give us some feedback on what you like. If you prefer jumpers, singlets, hoodies, T-shirts. you know, hats, what is your preferred merch? Yeah. And then we'll get a better idea because we don't want to – unfortunately, it's going to cost us a fee but a cash to get this going. Yeah, because it won't be set up how we did it last time, which was basically sort of reach a certain amount of numbers and then they go to print. So we'll be doing this over time. Yep. So there may be sort of a booth of sorts there. I mean, George was talking about having a booth. Jared's going to sit there all day just waiting. for you know with his epos machine so tough way yeah could you imagine um so yeah so i don't know look we'll chat it's just early days i mean you haven't chatted to me about it a week or two ago i think it was but he definitely wants us there to do sort of some videos and some walkthroughs and stuff like that a podcast i think would be cool because we could grab some of the members off the page and have a little chat hopefully we can have a chat to jack maybe as well but Yeah, it'd be nice to, you know. And also, if you're interested, if you are interested in being on a podcast, send us a message and we'll... Ignore you. We'll ignore you. No, we won't. No, we won't. No, we can try and make some time, and if we get enough people, we can obviously make time allotments. Yeah, well, we've actually had a couple of people reach out to us that want to be part of the podcast, which is nice. We'd definitely like to do it. I think just initially we want to find our feet first, don't we, and just work out that we're okay at doing this. And then maybe, you know, in a few months' time, we'll reach out and maybe set up some sort of interviews in inverted commas of those that want to. That would make me think about doing episode five. Yeah. Have an interview with someone. Yeah, we can do that. We can look at doing that for sure. But, yeah, so that's Melbourne and Expo. So looking forward to that. That'll be nice. Also, TASPIN. TASPIN's up and running again. Yeah, yeah, yeah. which is exciting because we are both going to be there. You've dropped the bombshell. I've dropped the bombshell. You've dropped the bombshell. I didn't think you were going to drop the bombshell. Well, you can edit it out, can't you? Well, I can, but will I? It's up to you. Well, should I tell them where we're staying? Give them the room numbers and everything? But yes, both Charity and myself, we had Taz being this year, which will be our first time, so we're pretty excited. Yeah. Got to catch up with the mafia down there. Yeah, a bunch of crazy bastards. I can see a few beers happening. 100%. 100%. No, a bunch of guys actually looking forward to it. And when is that? I actually can't remember. It's August, isn't it? Saturday, 2nd and 3rd of August. Yeah. Jesus, that's not far. We're almost May, aren't we? Yep. June, July, August. Gee, okay. Yeah, that'll be good. So it looks like they're starting to get a lot of machines in there as well. Some shitters like Shaq. That's okay, guys. If you want to put that in there, that's fine. But, yeah, I noticed they had a few, so some old-school ones. Laser, what is that, Laser Cube? Power, what was that, sorry? We're scrolling as we do this. Bobby Orr Power Play. Some Zacks, which will be good. Yeah. So, yeah, looking forward to that, actually. That'll be good. The guys do an awesome job out there, to be honest. So they work their arses off. so it's well rewarded, I think. Game of the Month, Jarrod. What is your Game of the Month? I mean, obviously this is hard because at this point it's just been my collection because, as we said, I haven't gone to your place this month. So, you know, I have to just wing it from mine. I've been playing – I ended up finishing off Tron sort of flowed in, but I've gone back to Game of Thrones again. and that was because of the post that we had on the page. Michael down at Tassie put up his Game of Thrones high score and his Hand of the King score. And yeah, I just, like after that, I just got right back into it again because he was playing a different house to me. I usually play Martel and for those that don't know, you choose houses and they all give you a different ability at the start of the ball. So Martel, for example, is an extra ball during multiball. So what happens if you're in a three-ball multiball, two of them drain, you hit the action button, and it basically launches into an extra two balls. So it restarts your multiball for you, basically, as a ball save. So it's a very, you know, it's a huge part of the game. But I've changed to Lannister, which is actually the multipliers, so you can build up your goal by hitting the targets, and when you hit the action button, it gives you your multiplier. So it multiplies the playfield by two, then by three, by four, which, you know, when you're starting off a mode and you finish a mode, can be quite good because modes at the start, you know, the battering ram is the multiplier. It's a dangerous shot. It can be a straight down the middle shot. So the action button helps with the multiplier a bit. So, yes, I've been playing a fair bit of Game of Thrones, actually, and, I mean, it kicks my arse quite a fair bit. Is that what people's made to do? Yeah. Take quarters? Yeah, but I like the rage quits made. Like, I don't know if people do it out there. I just rage quit on the bastard. I'm like, fuck you, and flick it off. So, yeah, so I've been playing a bit of Game of Thrones, enjoying it but hating it, but still need to learn more about it as well, I think. I mean, we were talking about I was looking at selling it to buy Stranger Things because I really, really like Stranger Things. And we started, as a family, we started watching Stranger Things again because the fifth season's coming up in October or something like that. So we thought, oh, there's enough seasons. We'll watch it, hopefully get refreshed. That didn't eventuate, but I feel like maybe I just need to keep with Game of Thrones for a bit and just look more into... Just spend the money, Jared. I will, but I want to keep Game of Thrones. That's what I said, just spend the money. So I just want to spend the money and get a Stranger Things? Yes, that'd be nice. But, yeah, so that's been my game of the month. Like I said, enjoying it. Came over to clean the other day. It plays well. Good. You, what have you been bashing away on? As I said, I haven't played a hell of a lot of pinball, but the most I've been playing was Ghostbusters. Yeah, okay. Which is, love it. You know, even though everyone complains about that bloody, the flippy gap, it's still a great game. I think we even discussed last time we spoke that I still prefer the prior code even though you say to me it's not the finished code back when it was finished when I had it because there was no other code and I just didn't I just preferred it yeah so the looping supers gives me the shits yeah I don't know why they just the whole thing changes I just not a huge fan of it you know when it goes all black and dark and you've got to keep doing the looping supers it just it just shits me yeah okay and that was never in the prior code but yeah I think it's mainly because I keep wiggling up the ramp and then coming straight down the centre it can be a bit of a bit of a ramp but yeah like I said I haven't played a hell of a lot but that is my game of the month honestly one of the best integrated machines with all the DMD all the assets are there I think once people get modes going and started off that way, your score can blow up quite quickly and give you that, oh, okay, this is fun, regardless of flip a gap or not, which is obviously just a Trudeau thing. He's notorious for it, or that was his signature as such. Once you get modes going, I think... And it's easy enough to get modes as well. Oh, 100%. It's not a hard thing. Yeah, you're just going to spill the ghost or hit ghost. Yep. Yeah, off the plunge. Yeah, started off off the plunge. Yeah. No, it is. It's good. It's very nice. Next topic, huh? Hardest shot in pinball. Yeah, well, we spoke, I think... I spoke last month about the game I was playing, and I just mentioned Tron, obviously, and that I thought Gem was one of the hardest shots that you've got to hit on pinball. So I just thought, I just wonder if it's something you wanted to chat about and give us an idea on what you thought one of your hardest shots on pinball would be. As in the members or me? Both. Both. The members can answer us now No no But yeah in the comments it would be nice if you could Yeah let us know with your I believe hard of shorting people I was just sitting here thinking like I was just thinking about Ghostbusters The right ramp on the one that comes back, back to the left in lane. Oh. That's a prick of a shot. The PKE ramp? Yeah, the PKE. No, no, is it the PKE ramp? I believe so. Is this PKE? No, PKE is over... Oh, yes, it is. I can't remember what ramp's name. But that little ramp there shoots me. You go halfway up, comes back down. Halfway up, comes back down. I always say it's the hardest shot in pinball, but thinking off the top of my head right now, it's a bloody hard shot. Yeah, I couldn't disagree. I think that's a definite. But even as you said, the doled in lock shot or the SIM card shot, that is a punny ask. But you know what? I wonder if I did upgrade those flippers with the new capacitors so it felt more like old and John, would it be so hard? Having that snappiness in there. Yeah, I find that. So that's that secondary lock that I think you get after the first. The train lock. Isn't it? The train lock. Like it's just, I can never hit it. Similar to the Simpsons pinball party. That's got that. I forgot about that. Yeah, so that's a similar shot, obviously, that which really is redundant you don't have to use it because you as i think we chatted about last time you can just get straight through the garage up to the couch um but you know you need it for a couple other modes obviously uh they're lit for mode shots some of them um and the tape frenzy what's that the um who's the fat comic guy with his secret stash so i think that's one of them up there as well. So it's a shot you need to be able to hit, but it's difficult. I think I'll only ever fluke it, honestly. Much of the time, because I hit it, it doesn't go there. At least it needs a little homer call out every time you do it. I still think Gem is one of the hardest shots because you need to either bank it off the Tron drop targets for the LE, but it's just the bank on the pros, or you've got to try and flick it with that upper flipper and flick it around, which is pretty hard, you know, get a bounce. Sometimes a light plunge can just activate the switch too if it just rolls in there as well. But, yeah, it's a fucking hard shot, man. And it's so integral to the game too. You know, like PKE, ramp shot maybe, maybe not, but that gem shot, if you can't hit that, you can't get through sea of simulation to portal. Yeah, okay. So you need that gem shot. And the best way to do it generally is multiple and hope to hell that... Just plug away. Yep. Hope to hell that they just bounce off each other and get through. So I'm also just thinking Jurassic Park, the tower shot. You know what I'm talking about, yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, with the right upper flipper. I'm going to use the right upper flipper. Yeah. Come back around up there, the tower shot. That is a pretty good shot too. Yep. Again, similar to Simpsons and Dildo. I reckon that Y-form loop was probably harder, though, on the right. No, that's hard. It is tight. It's a small gap, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. But, yeah. I'm not sure what else. I was going to say Yam Houdini because all of those shots are shit. It's such a tight playing machine. It's almost nigh impossible. Pinball price watch. Best buy of the month. Yep. Or best buys. well yeah I mean I think there's definitely one best buy but there has been a couple that have popped up since we discussed this so Newcastle so there was a Guns and Roses for 9500 that was out of Newcastle that I think we both agreed was the best buy and certainly you know they used to hover around 11 and then There were two guys at the time, if I remember right. They were going against each other. One was a 10, and then the other dropped a 9.5. They probably both sold, I'm not sure, but 9.5 for that machine. A hell of a machine, a lot of machine. A lot of machine. Especially when they were, well, the first one was, I think, about 14.8, and then they went up to 18.6. 18.6. I'm talking about new in box. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So 18.6 was brand new. I think it was. Because they got greedy. Yep. That's what happened. I could be wrong about the price but that's off the top of my head but yeah, the price just increased stupid over two years, or three years yeah, it did but yes, definitely best buy was the Guns N' Roses 9.5 yeah, I agree with you there that's half price, amazing and for a new machine interesting to know if other members have different opinions as well out there so pop us a note if needs be but yeah, I agree with you there and then just today who came up on the page was the Foo Fighters in WA which actually sold for $16,500. Yeah. Sorry, the Foo Fighters LE, I should say. Correct. In WA, sold for $16,500. Yeah. We're presuming without the topper. If it was with the topper, it was $19,000. $19,000. But for argument's sake, let's say it was without the topper and they were new. $20,500. So that's $4,000? Yep. That's a big loss. Yep. Big loss. Especially for a machine of that caliber too. What a great machine. Yeah. Fantastic, fun-playing machine. 100%. 100%. Great flow on that. So then also, there was a listing that came up the other day. Well, how was this? I assume it was for two machines, a Silver Ball and a Superstar for 2.5K. So I'm wondering, was it per machine or was it for two machines? Because if it was for two machines, someone got themselves a hell of a deal. Yeah. So even if they weren't in the best condition, it's still, what, $1,200 each. Yeah. Pretty good. I've always wanted to own Silver Ball. I've always liked the look of the artwork, the play field. I know it's very, very busy, but, yeah, I don't mind the look of it, to be honest. It looks good. Now, before we move on, because I know you said not to, but I have a what-the-fuck-buy of the month. Oh, okay. Okay? Now, for all the listeners out there, I mentioned to Matty, I was like, do we have a what-the-fuck overpriced machine that is just head-scratcher? You said no. I'm balking, and I'm going to tell you, my what-the-fuck buy was a Doctor Who on Marketplace for $19,000. Oh, that's fair enough. For $19,000. Now, I don't know if it's still there or not, but this guy had a Doctor Who for $19,000. So I'm assuming they're still stuck in 2020 when even then it wasn't that high. But my guess is the wife is gone. Time to sell. Get rid of it. Sure. No problem, love. I'll put $20,000 on it because then she can't argue. It still came with the original hat. The original hat. Remember that rare elusive hat. The elusive hat. It wasn't the Dalek topper. It was the hat. the hat. That's correct. So that's why the price is so damn high. So that was my, that's my what the fuck of the month. So yeah, so which I suppose probably just leads us into like a bit of chat about pricing. I think a couple of guys wanted to, the feedback we got, I think that you got, Matty, was it? The guys wanted us to sort of chat a bit more about pricing and where we see it at and the feel for it. And I think importantly, sort of how we're valuing A grade titles, B grade titles, C grade titles. and even the D-grade titles. Yeah. There's only a few of them around. Yeah, well, they're home pins. We know that. What is an A-grade title these days, honestly? You know, because back in the day, Whitewater was a B-grade title, you'd say? Yeah, I still think it is. Yeah, but people were rating it as an A-grade title and getting A-grade title pricing. But right now, I don't think so. You know? So I talk about A-grade title. In my opinion, a Circus Voltaire is an A-grade title. during COVID, well, not even during COVID, even after COVID, like for the last two years. So going back to even 2023, people were fetching up to $20,000, $22,000 for them. But now pricing's kind of come down, and what are we seeing, about $16,000, isn't it? Yes, somewhere around there. About $16,000. So that's just even that. Yeah. That's a six grand difference, isn't it? Yeah. So the A-grade titles are definitely changing value. Yeah. Medieval Madness, A-grade title. Yeah. And what were they fetching? over 20, weren't they? Well over 20. And what are they now? 16-ish. I think some of the remakes are being advertised at. I don't know if they're selling that, but that's what they're being advertised at. I think the A-grade machines that I always remembered are still A-grade, in my opinion. Oh, they are. I think you've got to look at over the last 10, 15 years now, and you're throwing things like Foo Fighters and Godzilla and these sort of games. So I think it's a bit of an open-wide discussion with that as well. I just wonder whether or not the market is becoming so flooded with titles that how that's affecting the pricing as well as to how it's affecting how you rate the games, ABC, et cetera, and how second-hand pricing is being affected by all of that as well as new pricing as well. Well, I'd rate Foo Funners as an A-grade machine, wouldn't you? I don't think it's up there. It'd have to be. Yeah. So pretty much what we're seeing, pretty much what the market at the moment, seeing new in-box machines selling at 20, being purchased at 20,500. LEs. LEs, sorry. People are taking a full four grand loss minimum. Well, that's a one-off at the moment. No, there's been a few other things. Most of them are around about 19 that I've seen being advertised. Well, there's another few fighters that are 17. Was that an LE? LE. Okay. So. Okay, so that's, yeah, that's a big hit. So there's two there. Mm. So, but if that's where they're selling, you know, that's where the market's sitting at, isn't it? Yeah. Because if it's at 19 not selling, that's not market. So then why isn't that pushing some of the lesser titles, the B-grade titles, further down? Like, I still see B-grade titles being advertised quite high. Why aren't they being pushed down? Like, not that it needs to be, I guess, not that I'm saying it should be, But I'm just, you know, if you're seeing the LEs drop, you know, generally history shows me from what I've seen, the premiums will drop and then the pros will drop with that, basically. But I still see some of those older school style Bally Williams still sitting at quite high pricing. That's right. What Big Red Toll is sitting up at the eight grand mark. It's a bit too high. But, for example, Congo, during COVID and even after COVID, people were fetching and asking anywhere between $11,000 and $12,000, wasn't it, about that? They're now set. Now, just recently sold, I think it was $8,000, was it? Yeah, $8,000, $8,600. Somewhere in there, yeah. So, once again, big shift in market. Yeah, I still think it's a bit too expensive. Yeah, too much for the machine. Well, I don't know if it's too much because it's sold, but it's certainly still up there. Yeah, yeah, that's part of the pricing. You know, like... Considering, I believe it's probably around the five to six grand mark machine. Yeah. These days. Yeah, and that's what I mean, I suppose. You know, and maybe because we saw that, you know, that silver bull and we've seen other SS machines sort of hovering around that two and a half to three and a half grand mark. In my mind's eye, that means then, you know, those Bally Williams that were sort of C grade should be back to that. And not just Bally Williams, but obviously, you know, Data East and Seegers as well. And please, guys, like, don't, you know, I'm not trying to price police. I'm not trying to get, you know, any sort of hate mail, although you can still send it, like I've said. But I just, in my opinion, that, you know, your Royal Rumbles, what else, World Cup Soccer's, you know, Judge Dredd's, Demo-mans, those sort of machines, they were always around a C-grade machine that would hover. About four grand. I mean, I'll go up to five, five and a half for decent-sized ones, but they're above that at the moment still, which is okay, obviously. And then, yeah, from there, you look at then the newer sort of stern pros of Game of Thrones and Tron's maybe, Black Knight Sword of Rage and those sort of machines. They probably then take up the next range of anywhere between, I'd say seven, maybe eight and a half to 10-ish. So about that. You know, premiums then at 10 to 12 and certain LEs, and I'll say certain, at 13 to 15-ish, 16-ish. Agree, disagree? Yeah, I get it. It's hard, isn't it? That's why I said, yeah, 100%. That's why we're having the discussion. though. That's why I said certain LEs. I know people, you know, Ghostbusters LEs still seem to be going at high pricing. One or two wanting premiums recently, still about $18 for a premium. Yeah, about $18, $19 for premiums. So that's what I mean. It's hard to still put a gauge I think on where pricing is. Maybe. All we can say for sure is pricing definitely has come down and the market has flooded. and I've never seen so many pins appear on our page in the last I mean as I said we're recording this on the 30th so April 30th on the Wednesday since Saturday Sunday I haven't seen so many pins appear and just a wide variety of them too as you said some EMs have popped up we've had some pitch and bats pop up which is pretty cool for those that want that as well dishwashers and some weights. Yeah. I think there was a vacuum in the other day too. I bought that vacuum just so I know. Did you? Getting a deal? 100%. I don't blame you. Sucks well. I don't blame you. So, yeah, so pricing is still an interesting discussion as to where we're at. I'm skipping past that now. Deliberately. The thing that we discussed before is I did notice, I don't know, maybe people certainly haven't chatted about it on the page, but we got a price increase on the LEs. so they went from 20, 2,500 up to 21,250 now so for the new LEs so they've, yeah, that's, I didn't hear of a price rise from Stern. I just thought it was interesting, that was all. Oh, definitely, yeah, of course, the price, there's a price increase. When everything's dropping. Yeah, that's right. To be hit with a price rise. Yeah. And I know what the usual discussion is, oh, the Aussie dollars dropped. doesn't go the other way though, does it? You know, when the dollar gets stronger, we never see a price decrease. I don't think I've ever seen a price decrease. Anyway. So, yeah, so that's a bit about pricing, I guess. New game discussion. New game? There's been a few? Yes. What are we going to chat about? We're going to talk about Kong, Dune and Harry Potter. Well, let's start with Harry Potter because there's nothing to talk about. Yeah, that's right. Still pretty ordinary by one of the, what people call the second biggest manufacturer in, I almost said in Australia, in the US. Well, supposedly they're having licensing issues at the moment, so there's a delay. Okay. Which was announced. Yeah, okay. Interesting. I just don't see where they're going with that. So anyway, we know nothing about that yet, and I guess we skipped straight past it because of that. So then let's get the next machine, Dune. Dune? Your thoughts? I haven't seen a lot about it, but I've only seen shorts and stuff. I think we chatted about letting you kind of do the discussion because you've watched a lot of the movies and enjoyed that. I still haven't seen the new movies. I think when we spoke about last podcast, you were wondering which way they were going to go, and I think I rambled about some. Well, originally I said, you know, are they going to do the original movie, the new movie, or are they going to base it on one of the games? Yeah. But obviously they're based on the new movies. Yep. So I'm not too sure if it's both movies, if it's number one or two, or just Dune, the first movie, the new one. Well, obviously I'm a fan of Dune. I grew up as a kid watching the movie, the original movie, and playing the PC games. Yep. The first PC game was too hard for me when I was younger. It was a point and click and you had to walk backwards and forwards. I just couldn't work ahead of it. Yeah, okay. So a lot of text in it. Sounds like it was before my time. It was before your time. Or you were just too old working. And then anyway, then there was Dune 2, which was one of my favourite games ever. The RTS. It was just fantastic. Obviously, Dune 2000. So obviously yeah I a Dune fanboy Thoughts on the pinball machine enough about that stuff It looks bland I understand We've got another arsehole, apparently, that swallows the ball. Yeah, there's a bumhole that swallows the ball. It's called a sandworm, motherfucker. Does it look like a sandworm? I don't know. Oh, kind of. Kind of? I mean, the mech's pretty cool. Yeah, the mech is cool. It's got a spin. I know. Maybe they need to add some teeth and instead look like a bell. Maybe they didn't want to do that for too much Star Wars look. You know, the dude in the sand? I don't know. Best of the sandworm. So anyway, the machine looks bland. It looks like it's got lots of shots in it. Yep. I understand where they're going with it, because obviously you're on planet June, and it's a sand. It's just sand. So that's why it's so bland, obviously. But the gameplay I've watched, it was underwhelming. It was... Well, we watched two. Yes, correct. Gameplay today, didn't we, actually? So the first gameplay was... Just players, people playing a four-play game, and no one could hit the shots. Yeah. Nothing was being hit. There was a brick fest. And all we kept getting was the noise of the... The scoop? Is it the scoop that's there? The scoop, the... It was... That's the one. Is that what it was? Sorry to whistle in the mic there, guys. Hopefully that wasn't too loud. I feel like that's... It was annoying as well, wasn't it? It was awful. Because they couldn't hit any of the shots. I think in the whole gameplay we watched, one shot went through where the sandworm is, and I think maybe one up the right ramp and maybe two ball locks, but nothing happened. They did struggle a lot compared to... Yeah, Keren Bowens, who is the game designer. Code. Code designer, was it? Code, yes. Code designer. So he, Keren, I've never watched a video of him play a machine and miss a shot. Yeah. He's pretty insane. Yeah, he's an amazing player. Yeah, out of the park. But on this machine, even though he was in cahoots with designing it and all the coding and everything, he was struggling for shots too, I think. but he was hitting shots and we did see the shots but it didn't look like it played all that well yeah so yeah i do like the um as i've said i do like the uh lower backbox screen yeah another immersion in the machine but what does that do i mean i only saw it sort of and even on this still that we're looking at at the moment it just looks like a background sand style mountain does it have like it has animations it does does it i wouldn't say it has scenes from the movie yeah but it will have animation in there to continue across the obviously june yeah yeah right artwork so cabinet artwork cut and paste wasn't it very cut and paste it certainly looks like it's a throwback to when everyone used to complain of stern of just a bit of a cut and pace style and I'm trying to think of what was there was one which really polarised a lot of people at the time. I can't remember what machine it was to be honest but it was around that Buck Hunter's time frame I think when they were really struggling and pinball was almost gone and they just did a lot of cut and paste of that sort of imagery. Thankfully it looks like the playfield on this doesn't have that style of cut and paste but certainly the backbox art, side art, what do you think? It didn't look great. No, it's nothing to go right up to anyone about. As for the trans light, once again, just cut and paste, just pictures of people staring at you. Yeah, which I said, and I don't know the world of June, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I said to you earlier, Like, you know, they could have had a sandworm bursting out of the sand for the backbox artwork. Yeah, something. And having, you know, a group of people fighting him, you know, tying him down. Yeah. I noticed on some of the animations of the DMD there was some sort of grappling hook that looked like it was part of a lock animation. They could have had that on the backbox and tied that in. Like, it just, you know, I feel like they could have done a lot more with it. But once again, I'm not loving because I grew up watching the original movie, playing the PC games. So, Dune 2 was one of my favourite games back when I was a kid. So, it couldn't get me off it. And obviously, this is not based on Dune 2, the PC game, but I just feel... You think it should be though, didn't you? I feel it would have been cool if it was based on a PC game with all the houses fighting each other. Yep. So, Otto, Satrates, Harkonnen, the Freeman. It could have been really well done. So, the question begs then is that if they haven't used that artwork for people of your generation, our generation, where are they putting this machine to? obviously to younger people, which I don't know if they've got the money for this type of machine. Yeah. So, you know, because this is a new movie and obviously a brand new franchise for the, I'm sure it says June, but this is a whole new franchise. Yeah. But the actors they're using, I mean, I think one was Zendaya. Zendaya, correct. Like that is very much a younger generation pool. so you would presume that that's what this pinny is trying to drag in. And the rest, what did you say? Batista. Batista, yes, correct. What's going to be another new WWF or WWE actor. I'd have to play it once again. If it plays anything like Labyrinth, it'll be a letdown. Definitely. So, like I said, it looks good. It looks full. The loose line's got the shots are there, but from what I watched, no one could play it. No shots were hitting, and that's how I felt with Labyrinth as well. Another thing that I actually can't stand is the red targets. The red targets. They're all red targets. When you pointed them out, they're very noticeable. So I don't know any other machine which is of, I don't even think, I think within the last five to ten years, it doesn't actually have some sort of decal on the targets. Or artwork. Yeah, or decals, artwork on the targets. And you can't say, oh, because they wear. My metallic is still going strong. Side of the machines still have all the artwork on the decals, so that can't be a reason. But they just put these dirty... That's nothing to do with the world. No. Like a red doesn't tie, it's not for blood or... Well, it could be Harkonnen, because Harkonnen is red, but there's nothing indicating it's just high current. Yeah. So. The one thing I think I did like that we chatted about was that the inserts above the flippers, not the ones that spell, I think they spell June, but the ones above those that are obviously some sort of mode-based inserts, they look like they've done well. They look like they're integrated into the sand or the, you know, the mountain there or whatever it is. The sand dune. The sand dune. So I thought, like, that looked good, but that was about the only thing that I sort of went, oh, that's well done. That's about all you said. Yeah, yeah. I just thought the rest of it could have been like that, well done, but it just. And as well, spinners. Spinners don't even have any decals on them either. They're just blank metal. But there's three of them. So we couldn't have six pieces of decal around the machine, could we? As for the sandworm. Look, that seems quite fine. Another arsehole, don't lie. Yes. Come on now. It looks like a bumhole. But no, no, but I think it was all right. Nom, nom, nom, nom. It seems all right, but people seem to struggle getting through the sand went up and up that ramp, which isn't, it's just an orbit, isn't it? Is that what you discussed? Yeah, I couldn't see. When we watched the Bowen video, it looked like it just fed back to that upper left flipper. Yeah. So I don't think it feeds into a larger orbit or anything like that, which I guess is okay for flow because then that upper flipper will then hit either whatever that ramp is that goes into the mountain or there's a little inner orbit similar to sort of a turtle style. So I guess that's the idea of it. But the sandworm, look, it did its job, catches the ball, lifts it up and lowers it and lets it drop off onto the Y-form. Yep. Should it be doing more than that? should be a subway or something like that, maybe? Could be. And that probably actually would have been the best idea, wouldn't it? A nice little subway there. Swallow it. So it swallows the ball and takes it, well, danty bottom flipper, you know, to the, sorry, the in-lane. Yep. Or even if it could take it all the way back to the shoot-a-lane. That'd be pretty cool. Mm. But that's my thoughts on it. Like I said, I still feel it's bland. Yep. the powder coating looks good but it's nothing we haven't seen before. Yeah, Hobbit, I think you said, didn't you? Hobbit, so anything else you want to contribute to it? No, I think the only thing that I thought, I guess... Apron? I don't know. Well, I was going to say the action button where they're... Oh, yes. What was that that they were talking about? Oh, the hand of pain. Yeah, so... In the movies, they put the hand inside a box where the... What do you call them? Witches or whatever you want to call them? and it's a test of pain. So you have to hold your hand in there and keep it in there to prove your worth. So this is what happens on this game. You have to hold your hand on the action button. Kind of innovative. Yeah, I guess so. So you have to hold your hand on the flip, sorry, on the center action button and use one hand to control both flippers, obviously, by flipping your hand from left to right. And the longer you hold it there, the more you can achieve until you prove you're worthy. And I think there's shots you have to hit. Yes, that's it. That's correct. Based on what I remember Bowen saying. And I did hear someone else talk about it, or I read that, you know, people were going to be like, oh, I'll just stick my fat gut on it and go away. Well, apparently you can't do that because the software recognises that you would be using the flippers normally as opposed to switching your hands across. But then again, I saw a very innovative item come up the other day on the pin side, I think it was. So you can relocate that action button to your knee, your front coin door. Really? Yeah, yeah, but this is for all the games. So all the games out there. Oh, here's a quick one. People are so funny. Yeah, so here's a little red button on the front of your coin door. Use your knee. How many coin doors are we going to see dinting in? Just do that for Black Knight, for the Magna save, and I reckon everyone's happy. Oh, I understand. that's what everyone wants that to come out for that almost sounds like the power switch let's relocate the power switch and nobody's done it why did they put it in the backbox FDA reasons apparently as for lighting they've gone the full LED RGB lighting which looks good they've got a day and night which was part of the drops, I think he was saying. I didn't see if it changed to a blackout style, which would have been kind of cool. It becomes really blue, so nighttime becomes really blue-ish. Okay. I presume that's in... But that's within the world of June, is that what happens, is it? Well, no, it doesn't become blue, but I guess they need some sort of light there so you can see. So I guess a blue haze is better than being blackout, I guess. Yeah, okay, okay. Well, that's my thoughts on this anyway, so. Yeah, I would tend to agree with what you've said, Matty. I think overall it looks like it would be an interesting game to play, but watching it, it looked confusing. I mean, certainly the first one that we saw with those guys playing it, I mean, they couldn't start modes, they couldn't do anything, and it was just like, oh, this is not great. And I think that's where people like Stern and probably more recently JJP with their guns and roses do the right thing by releasing a professional video footage of someone playing the machine. They're not bricking it. You're not getting the old iPhone out of focus, which can happen, obviously. But yeah, look, it's not my theme. You're a Dune man, so if you say this is not a money down sort of theme. No, definitely not. Then I think they could have probably bedded it. 100%. Okay. We'll move on. The other one, obviously, was King Kong that was released recently, which I've had a bit of a look at. I think you had a bit of a look at as well. I'll just say it out loud. I think Elwynn's done it again. Yep. They held it again. I just, I can't see how he just keeps going from strength to strength at the moment. I watched, look, I admittedly only watched about 10 minutes because that's all I needed to watch to know that the flow that he's so good at is back again. I think we discussed last time, I just wonder if it'll be the code that holds back the machine because once again, I keep seeing all these Godzillas coming up for sale, you know, and I just wonder if he's gone too in-depth on the code there. It's too hard to get an idea of what to do. So I'll be interested to see how this one goes with the code. But certainly the shots look awesome. I think I read on Pinside, and I would probably tend to agree, I think the artwork now, a lot of it seems very same-same. Yes, definitely. You know, the colour palette, the design style, It's all just moulding into one title after the next. I'm not seeing anything that's strikingly different. What are your thoughts on that? Well, yeah, I like the artwork, yeah. I like all the colours. People say, oh, why have you got the purples in this? I think it blends through nice. I think it all just makes sense when I'm looking at it. And as you said, it is very similar to all the other machines, but it just suits it. It is their style, obviously. Yeah, I get that. I just like to see something different. And I know it's hard because you've seen the same artist over and over again, which is Jeremy Fack as a zombie yeti. And don't get me wrong, if I had as much talent as he has in my fucking little pinky fingernail, I'd be blown out of this world. And maybe this is why I'm not feeling the love for the artwork on June, maybe, as well, because I'm not seeing it. Do you know what I mean? Because after looking at Godzilla and this and this and... Yeah, but, I mean, it's... You know, you could almost be looking at any of the arts from... Yeah, of course. Avengers. Well, not Jurassic Park because he didn't do Jurassic Park, but yeah. We're just looking at Avengers. Avengers, Godzilla, Deadpool, you know, to name a few of his most recent ones. But, like I said, I mean, And I do like the homage or the throwback to the Data East King Kong on the playfield. I think that's really well done. I like that, how they've got that. Yep. The archway. Yeah, the archway in breaking through the archway, because that was in the old school Data East. So that's kind of cool. Well, they had licensing because it's due, because when they bought me it. So I was just sitting there and they're like, whoop, let's grab that and refresh it. Yep, but it's done well. I like the multiball, how that starts. Yes. yeah yeah with the train yep yeah locks in the train the train tips but it doesn't just like it spits them out different ways as well which is good kong is relatively animated at the back corner there which is nice and which i was saying to i i reckon that's what they wanted for stay puff man yep on ghostbusters they you know but obviously uh probably just extra extra cost isn't it cost cutting so because i can imagine stay puff in the back corner of ghostbusters just walking along the streets of New York. But, oh, well, that's what it is. The only downside I see about that, well, sorry, I should say, from watching it, his right arm is activated by the spinner. So as soon as you hit that spinner, his arm starts to go blip on around. So that's the activation for it. So that's going to get a lot of work. A lot of work. Servo motors don't last forever. So I'm just seeing that motion there and him moving left and right, I'm seeing servos are going to need to be kept in stock. So anyway, so the... I just thinking though that since the servo is going to get so much use you might be having a bit of a stuttery King Kong eventually Yeah maybe I could be wrong You never know King Kong on LSD Yeah. This is Keith Elwin's first machine with a center post. Oh, yes. Actually, you did say that, didn't you? And prior to that, the first machine in God knows how long was on center post was on Uncanny X-Men as well. Yeah, but let's go back. I can't think of one. When was the last time Stern had a centre post? Probably bloody on South Park. I can't think of anything otherwise. But anyway, I believe that the Elwynn team want to try and bring the fun back to his machines for beginners and even for advanced players as well, because you'd use that post to your advantage. But for players who can't nudge it and don't know what to do, at least allows them to have that little bit of extra ball time instead of just losing and going to a rage quit, as we say. So it's just maybe trying to bring the fun back to his machines, I think. This is why I believe there's been so many Godzillas for sale because people just can't play it. It's just such a... Can't keep the ball in play. So they're having like 10, 20-second ball times whereas the centre post might hopefully... That's good for me. What are you talking about? So hopefully this might bring back some more fun for the new players. Yeah. Yeah, you're probably right there Because as I said, maybe then that's the way that he can offset his code, what I perceive as his code, not issues, but code strength, where he sees it as a strength, whereas I see it as complicated. Well, I see he's also got all his secret skill shots in there again. Yeah. So all those typical shots. Yeah, which is great. But, yeah, that's interesting with the center post, isn't it? Once again, I love it. Y-forms. Yeah. I love them. I love Y-forms. I don't like plastic. I'm sorry to say I don't like plastic ramps, but I just love the look of them. I'm with you. I prefer metal ramps. Ever since I saw Metallica with a metal ramp, give me a metal ramp. And that sound it makes. Yep. Even if you've got music up, you can still, it's like you can feel it and hear it, isn't it? Yeah, great. Yeah, I wouldn't disagree with you there. So, it makes it look aesthetically clean. Yep. Playfield artwork, I sort of did bring that into the artwork side. I like the playfield artwork too. Yeah. colour palette matches, it looks great. But everyone's saying it would look like clown puke, as I like to say. Yeah, okay. Yeah, maybe put some red and blue LEDs under there and make some clown puke, but I think it looks great. Yeah. I think it all flows nicely. And once again, very similar to all the other machines, just all that blending. Yep. Holy, it says, I reckon the artwork's much better than the metallic remastered. That's all I can say. one thing that shits me though the spider ok ok it's a little thing that shakes around sure there's a name there but the thing that shits me with the OCD in the movie clips it's blue right on the playfield it's aqua or turquoise right ok make a blue spider so they could match the colour just fucking make a blue spider ok do you know why yeah ok I must admit I didn't notice that I didn't notice that But, look, the animations on the screen seem, they're just basic. Yeah. I didn't mind them, I think. But they're just basic. Yeah, yeah, because they're probably their own animation. Yeah, they are. So I think that's where they've been able to take it in a different direction because it's not specifically on, you know, specific movies. Yeah, that's right. It's not a cartoon or a book or a comic or anything like that. So they've made up their own sort of story and they've been able to do that. So hopefully that develops a bit. I just hope the animation, yeah, could look a bit nicer, cleaned up maybe. Yeah, you're not looking at a black and white old 70s rock band, though, are you? Maybe not 70s, not 80s, late 80s. They've definitely nailed the upper left flipper. Yeah. From the drop targets and the upper left side ramp that feeds the ball to the upper right flipper for the constant upper playfield. Yeah, ramp combo. Yep. That was... Yeah. That was great. That just went stupid. The flow on it, yeah. But there was one shot, it was up the right-hand orbit. I can't really see how the ball goes, but I don't know if it comes behind Kong, then sort of slings up and then sort of... It was a weird shot. I was watching it, how it was flowing. I was going, where's that ball go? I might actually see where it is at the actual trail. Yeah, okay. I feel like we're a bit of stern fanboys here. We've spent a lot of time on King Kong and Harry Potter deservedly none. Nothing, because they've given us nothing, so we can't give them anything, can we? No, agreed. But yeah, I'm definitely a Stan fanboy, not afraid to say. The gong shot was pretty good. Yes. That's like a, it's like a, it's like a, not a new ball, but you hit it and it sort of, it's like a new ball kind of thing, like a Hell's Bells. Yeah, I see, I do see. Yeah, to an extent, but not like that. because it's on a spring, looks spring loaded. Yeah, because on the Pro it just falls behind into an open subway, but I don't think that does on the Premium LE. I'm not sure. It stays in plane maybe. I don't know. I haven't had a good enough look on the Premium LE. I think overall Elwynn's kind of done it again. I think we said good mechs, good toys, good layout, good flow. It was actually quite funny. So you only watched about 10 minutes of the video, did you? Yeah, about 10 or so. I watched the whole stream. It was quite funny watching. So Elwin went first, played crap, and then in comes his lead game designer. Yeah. Sorry, lead game coder. Yeah, I saw him and he blew it up. He flogged this shit out. He still won in the end too. Still got Elwin on his own. Yeah, okay, yeah. I just thought. Yeah, that was the first game. No, no, but still after three balls, he still won. Yeah, yeah, but that's what I mean. That was the first game they played. Oh, sorry, yes, yes. Yes, yes. No, that's what I watched. So that was the start of it, yeah. But the first ball he flogged him, and then he still flogged him for the rest of the game too. So I was just quite surprised. Yeah. I was just waiting for Elwin to... He's human after all. No, he's not. He's a god to most of us. Yeah. Rumour machines. Yep. Last month we talked about the Pinball Brothers with Predator, and I was looking at it and I said, why is Pinball Brothers in the talk with Disney? Disney wouldn't have Predator. So I said, looks like it's probably going to be Jungle Book. But I just saw the other day, come up on my Facebook, that Disney is now releasing a Predator TV show. I think it was a TV show or a movie. And possibly I'm wrong. So that might be a correction there. So maybe it is Predator. But we'll see. Okay. top 10 jared this is your time to shine today um yeah we spoke about top 10 machines last podcast which was your personal top 10 out of your personal collection and i just thought what about a top 10 of all time like is that something that we we wanted to chat about so um i researched and did it you didn't so well we already have my top 10 so we'll do my top 10 this month and maybe look at your top 10 next month of all time you're happy with that that's fine yep so i want to start with some honorable mentions if i can that just missed out johnny johnny mnemonic judge dread demo man Jackbot, believe it or not. Harlem, 8Bull, Indy 500, Spider-Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon. They're just some that I've just enjoyed but didn't make the cut for coding reasons or just missed out because the flow of the machine, the enjoyment of it overall. So my top 10, number 10 is Strikes and Spares. So I had to get this into the top 10 because it It was my first ever machine I played on. My uncle owned a Stripes of Spares machine, ran out of space, gave it to us, and we played with it. I think that was back in sort of early to mid-'80s, and it was a 78 machine, so he wouldn't have had it all that long. So, yeah, fell in love with it. So that's number 10. Number nine, I've put Game of Thrones in there. And I can see by your face it's surprising. but the reason being is it was my first ever tournament win. So these machines aren't necessarily just what everyone might think of a top 10, but they're personal to me. I guess that's why we've done it. So now you understand why I chose all my machines last week. Yeah, yeah, 100%. Because I can beat you on them. Yeah. So yeah, so it was my first 20 wins, so that's why it's in there. Number eight I think people will be surprised by, which is Family Guy. I love the humour of Family Guy, and that's in the machine, and the code is there. It's quite deep. I'd love to get that back in the collection. I think sitting next to my other Simpsons pins would be good. So that's number eight. Number seven is Iron Maiden. Underrated, I think, Elwynn pin. I just like the way the modes, the multiples, all work together to progress within the machine. Number 6, Simpsons Pinball Party Just as The deepest fucking machine You'll ever play Quite low-ish down So it didn't quite make the top 5 But the first machine I ever owned, so a little bit of a Personal favourite Number 5 is Walking Dead Number 4 is Hobbit Number 3 is Deadpool I know you Yeah, I know. Deadpool to me is just... I remember when that first came out, I looked at it and I was like, my God, that is just one ugly looking machine. It just looks so... And I remember speaking to a couple of guys at the Tawnys about it. I was like, it just looks so busy, the artwork and everything. But yeah, I really, really like the shot flow, the modes. Obviously, I do enjoy it because I can play it well. So that's really good. I don't think there's ever a game that you don't get the mech suit multiple. Yeah, it's a good – and that's the thing of it. When you get that multiple – And the Katana Rama thing. Every time, you get it every time. I love that mech suit multiple, though. When you get the jackpots – What would you average your score closer to a million? Oh, no, Bill. I might average anywhere between five to seven-ish, maybe. But as an average, though, like some games I still struggle a little bit from time to time. But, yeah, as an average, probably five to seven. So that was number three. Number two was Attack from Mars. I had to choose between AFM and MM because they're obviously, you know, in my eyes, identical machines in regards to the same designer and mechs. and you've got the castle to the spaceship, you've got the cow ramps to the other ramps, which is the girls and what have you. But I have a fondness for MM because I do like the humour. I've heard since we've played it at your place, I've grown more accustomed to the humour and I do enjoy it. But Attack from Mars I've always preferred. I choose Medieval. That's my choice over them. I think they're neck and neck, to be honest. and I think there's always a, no, one's better. Not really, one's not really better than the other because they are identical type machines. Apart from, I suppose, a catapult shot is an extra shot in MM. But yeah, Attack from Mars for me. And we get the little wiggling aliens. Get the little wiggling aliens, that's it. And number one, Metallica. It's fucking awesome. I mean, it's got to be there for me personally. I just think. I'm surprised you didn't put Stranger Things in there. I probably haven't had enough time on Stranger Things for it to slide in there. But, yeah, Metallica, definitely number one for me. What was your number one? Metallica. Yeah. We spread a lot of same stuff in there. Yeah, 100%. I think just different orders. You didn't have Deadpool from memory, though. And I don't think you had sort of any of the old SS. Oh, no, you did because you had Cheetah in there. but yeah I had a couple as I said a couple surprising ones which was Game of Thrones Family Guy probably Walking Dead as well I would have said I wasn't expecting Walking Dead yeah it's very love hate relationship Walking Dead but it's one of those games that I find to be a better player if that's what you want to do that's the type of machine you need similar to Ghostbusters it makes you a better player because it can be so brutal and then you have that one out of ten game that you're like, yeah, I fucking got you. And it also turns you into an alcoholic because you just get pissed off. You're just going to have another can. Turns you into an alcoholic. Well, isn't it a can per game? And those games only last about a minute thirty. You can have them very quickly. So, yes, that was my top ten. But next month it's this and that, this or that. Okay. So we'll put machines up to, you know what? Guys, if you want to comment which machines you want us to compare, what we think is a better machine, that'd actually be quite good. Okay. So comment in the comments section and let us know which machines you want us to compare. Or on the page or private message or however you want to reach out. Again, with our email, that's lineidol, pinballoswide at hotmail.com. Otherwise, if you don't do it, we'll just make up our own this and that. Or this, all of that. You can pick a this and I'll pick a that. That's exactly right. Oh, no. And otherwise, Admin rant? Do we have an admin rant this month? I know I went off the tap last month. Have you got one this month? Admin rant. So, admin rant this time. Not much for us to complain about this month. Apart from, if you're going to sell a machine, put some freaking photos up. Add a description. Don't just say... That's what we said last month. I know, but it hasn't fixed it, has it? So, it doesn't matter. Anyway, scammers. we're pretty safe on the page of scammers just so you know guys, we pick up on them very quick and if there is anything dodgy, we'll get rid of them very fast, so there's currently one at the moment, a person it's on all the other pages recommending the what's his name, Raymond Davidson I think it is recommending this company and he would say, oh these people will help you out, they will definitely have it they'll definitely have the machine so be warned, do not deal with them I think if people need to as well, and it's not always a guarantee, but members should know that you can click on the names of the people in the group and see their activity within the group. I'm sure that's not just an admin thing. No, I think I'm sorry. And you can see whether or not they've had multiple interactions with the group and comments and likes and that sort of stuff, and that'll give you an indication of whether or not they've been around for a while and they're interacting, they're either selling and buying or talking and that sort of stuff. and that'll certainly help give maybe an overall picture of who you're dealing with as well. Next, anyway, I've just been thinking, we haven't done any giveaways for a long time. No. I actually miss doing the live feeds, sitting there in front of the machines, having a beer with you guys, doing a live feed and having a chit-chat. Does everyone want to see us do this again? So obviously we'll get some stuff together and sit down and get some beers and do a live feed. I mean, as you said, it might not even have to be just giveaways, but do people want to sit and have a chat live feed-wise? Like I know, like you said, yeah, we used to do it, didn't we? It was mainly for the giveaways, but I think we enjoyed just the chat as well with members more than anything. I think we need to start doing that again. Yeah. To be more interaction. All right, well, let us know. Maybe put a post up on the page. Ask the question as well for those, and we'll do a poll, a yes-no poll, and see if people want it. Well, I think that about wraps it up, doesn't it? I think that about wraps it up. Great talking to you, Jared. Thank you, sir. Lovely afternoon. Thank you, sir. Thank you all listeners for liking, subscribing and sharing. We hope you enjoy this. We'll be back next month with podcast number four. Thanks, Jared. Thanks, man. Cheers. We'll see you next time.
