And if you're not DMing, it's great. If you are DMing, oh my gosh, that's a lot of work. And if you're not, you need to, like, come up with something fun that becomes irritating over time. And that's exactly what I was going for. was like, I want to nail my one-liners so consistently and well that people start hating one-liners. Like, I want when somebody gets done after playing an adventure with me for two weeks to not want to watch action movies. Okay. Gotcha. Wheel Snipes Telly Boys The Shining of the Novel is a great book though you know what I will as much as I love the movie I did not I did not read the book I've read 11-22-63 I've read the Dark Tower series I read the first book I think four times before I could finally make it past that to the second book which is where it gets interesting I think it's 11-22-63 11-22-63 yeah yeah I started reading that didn't didn't get into I love their ideas or concepts or right but reading is not always it's not always great but well I'm interested when it comes to books yeah same here that's why I kind of struggle with audiobooks I love audiobooks that's that's my jam but I I guess I struggle in a way with who is narrating okay you have to be a good narrator yeah yeah absolutely uh the narrator for the expanse on audible is fantastic classically trained broadway actor who is it uh I can't remember but he does Avadaro's voice perfectly like grown man okay and just old Indian grandma. He nails it. Okay. Every time. Yeah. I love the lady they got to play her for the television show. Oh, yeah. Yeah. She's amazing. She's absolutely amazing. Also, the Babaverse, the narrator for that, I'm pretty sure is I'm pretty sure it's the guy who does all the call outs on Call of Duty. Double kill. Like that guy. And occasionally that voice will come out but for the most part he just he gets I mean it's a different rendition of you know voice acting a different rendition of the same character, in a way, you know? No offense to Eric Meunier. I think he's done a lot for pinball, and especially for Jersey Jack. Oh my gosh, yeah. I don't like his pinball. Wait, wait, wait. Do you not like the code, or do you not like the layout? The code. Okay, because... Too much multiball. It's not... I'm a... Do you see me play? And now the multiball guy. I have the fastest multiball. They're so fast. They're so fast. Yeah. So it started and now it's over. I'm much more of a single ball, EM, old school, solid state type of player. Keep it simple. Keep it simple. Yeah. Yeah. That's my jam. So Eric and his, Eric Manier and his multiball crazy man. Well, in Pirates of the Caribbean, that was Keith P. Johnson. And then, was it Keith P. Johnson again? Huh? Pirates of the Caribbean. Eric Meunier did the layout. Layout. Oh, okay. And then Keith P. Johnson, who did Lord of the Rings. I'm confusing coders with designers. Yeah. Okay. But, in Pirates of the Caribbean, that was Keith P. Johnson. I'm not personally a fan. I don't think I like any of his pinball machines. But his pinball machines are liked by really good pinball players consistently. So I think that's just me not being a good enough pinball player to appreciate his development. Alright, which two games did you play? He did Lord of the Rings, and he also did The Simpsons. And then he did Pirates of the Caribbean. And there was a lot of developers involved in both of those games. Even Dwight was listed as someone who helped do software on that. Okay. But you can tell because of Keith P. Johnson's want to allow any modes to be stacked with any multiballs, with any multiballs being stackable with any other multiballs. The flexibility on his games is ridiculous. Huh. It just has been... That flexibility is great. I don't know why I don't like it. I'm not... I kind of like... It's a long player. Sure. probably same with the since don't give me a game I can get so you gotta get the power chords on GNR to have a chance so I haven't spent a ton of time on GNR there's one up in Cheyenne that's the only one I know of locally I guess there might be somewhere in Denver there's gotta be one there's a guy trying to sell Standard he can't get rid of it it's 7800 right now which is funny because I think that's less than what it sells for brand new $7,800 okay that's up no that's a great price for a JJP GNR that's if I like Guns N' Roses or Jersey Jack either of those if I like the Jersey Jack pinball machines or if I like either one I think I would have I haven't even I've been offering up Ultraman as a trade and no one's taking it. Nobody's interested in Ultraman at all. Nobody wants to wait a year for it to be good. But I haven't even offered up Ultraman as a trade for GNR because I'm like, nope. Not even. Let's see, I have one arriving next week been saying that for the last three weeks taking note about patches. I don't know any of the rules. Okay. So, you guys, this has been an awesome stream first night with Jurassic Park we have Escher who will be here on Thursday to show us how you actually play this game oh that's because he's just going to own it I'll probably be watching I don't this is one of the newer games that I just I don't understand I've said that about like Tron as well Tron's not neat it's just like I don't get it like if I can't find the shots where it's just like I don't know I'll play by play. Like, at any moment, I have a really good idea of what I should be going for. I'm going to reroute the truck. I hear you saying that all the time. I mean, I get it. We're going to focus on walking through, okay, what should I be doing next? And what are you thinking about? What's your goal? Okay, damn. All right. Because this is one of, like, the three games I think I can do that. Are they on the other two also element games? No, actually, let me think about that for a second. I still have no idea how to play Godzilla. Over there. It's over there. So, Giraffic Heart? How is that possible? You've had Escher playing it a lot? You've been getting, like, pro pinball tips. Sure. Free. Totally. Pro pinball lesson. I can put up now, like, $300 to $500 million somewhat consistently on that game. I still have no idea, like... But the insta-bill that Escher does is... Yeah, Escher knows how to put up really big points at .81 on the code right now. As they continue to add new functionality, like, it's just not finished, so I feel like I'm out there in the ether of understanding. I'm there. I can kind of move around, but I don't know which direction to go right now, and I want that to happen. I want, I think that's what I need, is complete understanding, so I know how to progress through. Like, I know how to get to, not when dinosaurs grow into the earth, but the one before that. The wizard mode for this game. Which is, escape from Nublar. Oh, okay. I know how to get to escape from Nublar, and I know how to work and progress towards that. And that's good for me. I've been there naturally one time. You know all the, like, once you're in it, you also know. Oh my god, no, no, no. Yeah, because of... Because of Pin Slash. Yeah, Pin Slash, exactly. Oh, my God. Pin Slash. I just need to work... I'm tired. Just thinking about Pin Slash. I just... I did so good on Pin Slash for two of the three, but the third one, which was... You have to hit that inner orbit. I've never even tried to hit the inner orbit on purpose. Oh, that's my favorite shot. It's so good. Yeah. But I couldn't find it for two and a half minutes, and that... I lost all the points, so... It was awesome. such a fun time and I want to do that again. I want to do it with Godzilla. I just need more time on Godzilla. Or I should say the code needs to get a little bit further on Godzilla. Godzilla. Godzilla. Is that Team Slash's thing? It's got to be an Elwynn game? That's interesting. I'm willing to bet at this point it's just Carl is interested in putting together a tournament on games that are fun, that have great layouts and great rules. I think, yeah, I'd be Carl. I think it just syncs. Yeah, Keith Elwin's design syncs up with Carl D'Python Anghelo's format. Yeah, exactly. Awesome. Yeah, pretty much awesome. Cool. Which I guess I'm just running into them too now. For awesomeness? No, for pin-Slash. You can pin-Slash, absolutely. Actually, a number of PBGA players are much better suited for that craft than I am. It could be Mindstream, but it could be Will, for example. Only one person can apply per stream though. So, like you and somebody else can't pin Slash from one stream. We can't, well no, we can all qualify though whoever gets the best qualifying times and then I don't know. Sure, but you can't win the tournament. Sorry. Yeah, only one of us, yeah, only one competitor per stream. Per stream. But we can, during the qualifying period, you guys can vote, you just have to show on stream that you did. Gotcha. Okay. I can just have everybody.
