Excuse me, ma'am. Is that yours? I don't know. You don't know, huh? Ma'am, that wrapper didn't get there by itself, and it's not just gonna pick itself up. Aren't you guys paid to clean it up? Ma'am, we're here to keep this store safe. Now, we had a robbery earlier today, and I was almost killed trying to protect this store. Now, I don't know if you had anything to do with it or not, but when I see garbage on the floor, it tells me that people don't care. And when people stop caring, that's when crime breeds, and criminals take over. All right, all right, I'll pick it up. Coming to you from beautiful upstate New York, this is the Slam Tilt Podcast, a show about all things pinball. I'm Ron Hallett here with my co-host, Bruce Nightingale. A sell, sell, sell! Tell. Okay. Welcome to episode 21, Star Trek Beyond. Beyond. Beyond, which I haven't seen yet. It's pretty good. That's what I heard. It has a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That's what I go by. Wow, so your Rotten Tomatoes are good tomatoes. Yes, good tomatoes. So how's it going, Bruce? You've been selling, selling, selling. I'm just making some room. Making some room. I have too many. I'll be the first to admit it. See? It's the first thing when you have an obsession to say you have too many. And I have too many. 30, 4.5. We're trying to get below 30. So I got four. I already sold one. The eight ball was gone last week. I'm getting rid of the vector. That's just Kevin's. And I'm getting back my future spa. And then this Sunday is bye-bye Embryon. Embryon. Three ball. And then we're going to go try for, hopefully, somebody wants to buy a Freedom. I got a nice Freedom. Freedom Firewood. It's world famous. You can even get me to autograph the bottom of it for you. I'll even autograph a Freedom Firewood. And I'm putting up another one. Skateball. So if you want to check it out, if you noticed, I put a nice little post on the from Chris Bucci's flyer that he made for the for the Raven. He talked about he found it, emailed it to me, and I posted it on the Slam Tilt podcast page for Facebook. Oh, so you put that on there. OK, I saw that pop up. Yeah, that was pretty funny. I did. I did. It was pretty funny. So how are you, Mr. Ron? I am just peachy. Peachy? How about ducky? Ducky, too. Yes, I am peachy and ducky. I have an immediate. We got some news. Oh, we're doing news? We're doing news. Oh, what do you want to do? Well, that's usually the protocol, but as the host, you can change the protocol. There ain't no stinking protocol. Come on. Okay, then go ahead. Come on. We are just flying by the seat of our pants. We do anything here. Okay. Stern has provided us with material again, I would like to thank I would like to thank Stern they are our best customer earlier today they published the Matrix so Neo's there? no, not Neo, no they published the feature Matrix for Batman 66 oh, okay which shows all the different options of the three models, the premium the limited edition, and the Super Ellie. Oh, my. So I thought we could do a little segment here, a little bit. The Super Ellie. Sorry. Bit. Benny Hill, really? I'd buy that for a dollar. Oh. I would. That's later on. I have games ready for that, too. Okay. Okay. So what I want to do is the Super Ellie is $15,000. $15,000. So are we playing prices right? No, no, no. Higher. Higher. No, lower. The LE is $10,000. Okay. Okay. And how much is the premium? I don't know. $8,500. It's $8,500. Okay. But what I want to do, we're going to compare, or specifically, we are going to go through the features the Super LE has that the Limited Edition does not have and see if it adds up to $5,000. So instead of just bitching about how the prices are too high and they're hosing people, which they are, but instead of – because if they can get the money, they can get the money. That's fine. But I'm just trying to take a more logical approach. I have my pen ready. So get your calculator up. Calculator is up. Okay, hold on. So if everything is on the up and up, then there should be $5,000 worth of goodies. $5,000 worth of goodies more in the Super LE than the Limited Edition. Okay, I'm ready. So I got the Matrix right in front of me here. Now, they both have, like, the LCD. You know, they both have the same play field. So, you know, that stuff is, you know, who cares? Wait a sec. Is the Super LE autographed and the LE autographed? I believe, according to this, it is. Okay. I'm looking here. A certificate. Authenticity is on both. The autograph is on both. So I am only going to go through the ones that are different. Okay, ready. And different as in more. For example, the Super LE has left ramp in a finished translucent blue color, and the regular LE, it's in a translucent red color. But it's just a different color. Who cares? There's no difference there in features. Yes. So here we go. Ready? I'm ready. The first thing. I'm ready for it. illuminated bat signal toy on the play field, which since we didn't get to see one actually working, I don't know what it looks like. So I have no way to figure out how much that would cost. I'll leave that up to you. How much do you think that would be? I'll give that $50. All right, $50. So we got $50. Excellent. Next, we have, they both have the Batmobile top light topper revolving lamp effects. That's what it says on there. That's what it says. Batmobile Top Light Topper featuring revolving lamp effects. However, the Super LE has the adjustable bat signal projector. So how much do we think that? I'm thinking first I was thinking $35, but I'm going to go $50. I'm going to make it nice and easy for everyone. Oh, let's go. $50. Alright, alright. So now we get to where the Super LE really shines. Four things in a row here. Ready? All right. Batmobile decorative toy, the bat boat decorative toy, the bat cycle decorative toy, and the bat copter decorative toy. And if these are the ones I saw, they look like kind of off the shelf stuff from like Walmart or something. I'll give them 10 bucks a piece. 10 bucks a piece. Okay. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's be fair to Stern because they had to mark them up and ship them. Let's be fair. Let's say $25 apiece. Okay, $25 apiece. So that would be $100. Another $100 for those decorative toys. All right. Now, this is where this would be tough to price, but I'll say it was cool. It's the unique SLE cabinet art featuring hyperchrome embossed surfaces. That was pretty cool. That's going to cost some money. Yes. I'm going to say I'm going to go off the wall a little bit I'm going to say $500 $500 more remember we're going to save more than what the decals on the Elio because they had to be specially made there's only 30 not 30 sets now it's what 60 80 so the odd ball of nutness of them all I'm going to say $500 so So this next one is interesting. If you get the Super LE, you get all three of the Translites. You get the Premium, the LE, and the Super LE. So basically all you've got to figure out is how much a Translite usually costs, and you get two of them. So now I have a question. So they're all Translites? There's not a Backglass? No Backglass. This is Translite. Okay, so I'm going to say normal stern pricing for Translites is between, I'm saying $129 to $150. So let's say $150 each. So $300 more. Okay, $300 more. You get all the trans lights. Yep. All right. Moving ahead. All right, here's where it gets a little, you'd have to figure this out. Basically, the Super LE is a souped-up audio system. It has Jensen Audio two-way speakers and a Jensen Audio cabinet speaker as opposed to the stock speaker. Well, the stock speaker. So, well, just how much more do you think two Jensen speakers would be than what would normally come? Okay, now here's the funny thing. When we were growing up in the 80s and 90s, Jensen was like one of the worst brands out there when we were doing our car audio and that kind of stuff. But I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. So three speakers because it's just speakers. The sound system is probably still the same. and there's no preamp or amp or anything like that. I'm going to be optimistic. $50 each for each speaker, $150. But I'm even going to go more. I'm going to go $250 just to cover our bases, $250. Okay. Yeah, they both have the same stereo high-fidelity sound with three-channel amplifier. All models have that. Okay, there's one more thing that the speakers have, but I kept it separate. Illuminated surrounds and backlit bat logos. Meh. I know what those kits cost. They're like usually $75 to $100. So let's say $100. Okay, $100. And that is it. Okay. So let's go through it like you're selling it on TV. Like, you get the so-and-so. You get the so-and-so. You get the $50. You get the total of it, I'm saying, is $1,350. Okay. But wait, there's more? There's more. Okay. What about the special nameplate and the L-E-V-E-D? Now, are you going to put a value on the rarity of the game? Because they are. They are. Okay. So what you're saying is, how much was that for everything? $1,350. So you're saying, okay, $1,350. So we're saying, they're saying it's like $3,000 plus dollars. $3,650. Of rarity. Yes. Is what you're paying for. Yes. Okay. That's what you're paying for. See, again, I'm not going to criticize the ridiculousness of the price because you can get what you get. I'm just going through what the differences are and do you really think there's that much difference in a price between that and that? I mean – It's boutique. It's boutique. Now, to be fair, I believe in total fairness here. we shouldn't be bashing anyone unnecessarily. So I'm going to go. Hold on, hold on. I'm going boochy. Oh, you're going boochy? So everything's. Everything's great in the world. Because guess what? I don't have a dog and pony in this thing. In this dog and pony show? Yes. Okay. Thank God. So, wow, Jersey Jack, you've got to do something with your, you've got a bad certificate on your site. It's not secure. Oh, no. Got to fix that. They're going to hack everything. They're going to hack everything. All right, hold on. I'm trying to find, where is it? There was a matrix for dialed in. For dialed in. And I wanted to see the differences, and we could do the same thing, just to be fair. I don't want to be unfair here. Okay, I got the dialed in matrix up here. That was so fast. What a great thing the Internet is. Wow, gee whiz. Gee, golly whiz, it's not like we edited five minutes out while I couldn't find the damn thing. But I found it. Oh, and while I have this up, just Jersey Jack did announce at Freeplay Florida, I guess we're way behind on the news here, that they are not changing the name. Good. It will be dialed in. So there you go. I like it. I like it! All right, so I got their matrix up, and we'll do the same thing. Well, actually, I'm not going to compare the Limited to the Collector's Edition because the Collector's Edition, I don't think even they know yet exactly what they're doing. Well, it's up there. So, no, no, because we were comparing Limited to Collector's, which is like their LE, their Super LE. You have to. I think we need to go Limited to Collector's. All right, all right, all right. It goes in pricing. Okay, so we have the Limited Edition is $9,000. Yep. And there's 2,500 of them compared to $240. The only problem with this, like I said, they said they were going to be announcing more stuff that the collector's edition has. And that's not on the matrix. We'll just go by what's out right now. Okay, we'll go by what's on there. The limited edition is 9K. The collector's edition is 12.5. Okay, so let me clear my calculator out. It's clear. It's clear. All right. It's clear. One has Quantum Mist Blue Clear Coat Body Armor. The other one has Quantum Haze Clear Coat Body Armor. It's really just a different color. Okay, so both have Invisiglass. Both have Shaker Motor. Both have 3D Etched Emblem. Yep. Special colors. Special colors. So I'll give that $25 just to be fair. Signed game certificate. Oh, wait a minute. Lighted. They both have lighted ramps. They both have a signed game certificate. Yep. Collector's Edition has a mirrored back panel. Okay. So mirror back panel, it's class, that means. I know Jack was selling these for $3.50, so I'm going to say $400 just to rule out. Okay. Just to be safe. You get a signed comic book as opposed to just a comic book. So how much do you think Pat Loyola's signature is worth? You can get it any time, but I'm going to say $50. Okay. And this is what I said is going to be hard to compare this because it says, more cool stuff to come. Wow. That's great. That's why I don't know. We'll compare the other two also. You have the high-gloss UV ink, the cabinet art, the super, I'm not going to say, the collector's edition has rad cows. Rad, rad, rad. I like saying rad, rad, rad, rad. Rad, radical. I don't know what that means. I'm assuming being that it has a name, they've used it on a previous game. It is. It's the clear, like, protective plastic ones that are on the Hobbit. If I remember, they look pretty cool. They do look pretty cool. So how much more do you think that is than the regular high-gloss UV ink decals? Probably four to five because they're hard. I'd say five. Let's say five. Five. Collectors Plaque. Signed to the game. Signed by Pat Lawler, Jack, and John Yousi. So we said $50 for each signature. Let's go $150 for all three. All right. Special back glass. Okay, so back glass is the same thing. I'm going to double it to $300. So I'm going to say $350. Let's just say $350. All right. Printed manuals, assigned printed manuals. So, again, we'll do the $50. So what do you get? And actually, Radcals, it says $400 right under there. Okay, so we're close. so add another 50 so we're almost at 1600 1600 more so they would have to give ok so we're at 10600 so they need another 1900 still a little more closer and again we don't know the more cool stuff to come who knows what the hell maybe they'll have a revolving backbox or something maybe when Ron gets his because he's going to put his order in before December 31st, 2016. Yeah, sure I am. Yes, right away. Excellent. Now, if we compare the other two, which is easier. Yes. You have the regular is Again the LE is So you have stainless just regular steel body armor as opposed to the Quantum Mist Blue clear coat body armor So how much difference do you think that is? $150 to $200 clear coat. You know, they're coated. You know, it's what they're called, powder coated. Okay. Then you have the tempered glass as opposed to the Invisiglass. Invisiglass. Now, the Invisiglass they have listed as, you know, $295 or so, whatever the difference is between that and regular glass. So you're up to almost $450. Okay. They both have shaker motors. Yep. 3D Edge Templum, so $25. So, Nyer 475. They have lit ramps instead of the standard ramp. Which, $150? $200? Let's say $200. Okay. Signed game certificate? $50, so $7.25. We're up to? Laser etched acrylic with lighting. Another $50, so $7.75. And then the comic book, $5? I'd say $15, so $7.80. And then you get a manual instead of the CD, which I know Jack puts his manuals out at about $150. So you're almost up to the $1,000. Wait a minute. A manual is $150? It's thick. No, no, no. It's thick. It's double-sided, really good quality paper. I've seen these manuals. They're almost like an inch thick. Okay. That's still a lot of money for a manual. All right. But that's what he charges. Okay. So what do we get? You're almost at $900 almost. Yep. So that is the best deal. Yep. So I expect you now to put your money down on the limited. A limited edition, of course. Yes. Yes. Because it is a Pat Lawler. You need some more Pat Lawlers in your life. I need a Pat Lawler, period. I have none. I sold the family guy. That's right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Peter. I sold it. It just wasn't getting enough action, you know? I couldn't score. Oh! Oh! The funny thing is I only have one. Oh, Monopoly. Got it. Good. So I just thought that was an interesting little exercise there. And futility. Yeah. I'd say at least Jersey Jack seems to be a little closer. He is. And honestly, the best deal between if you're going to spend $8,000, go for the extra $1,000 and get the limited. I agree. You need those lit ramps to know. Lit ramps, different color artwork. You know, nice. I like it. I would definitely go for that. Okay. That was that little exercise. I just thought that was interesting. So now, news. Go for it. Lanes and Games. as I said a couple episodes before is officially done yep the owners of the bowling alley sold it and they're going to build an apartment complex on there which is going to be interesting in that area with the traffic that's going to be very interesting that's just outside of Boston a great place to play the question I'm going to have is where are they going to have the finals now for the state finals Yeah, from Massachusetts, because I wasn't there the last two years. Three, two years. It has been. So that's going to be another interesting thought and sight. You know, what's going to happen? Where's it going to be? Don't know. I know. We don't know. Game over, man. Game over. Game over. Another piece of news. Do you know what this Saturday is at 11 a.m., sir? Saturday at 11 a.m. Oh, I believe it's the Pinberg sign-up. Yes. They go fast. They go very fast. I heard someone mention this, and from experience, I would say this person is correct. They were very interested, and with the ESPN article that came out, where Pinberg was heavily mentioned, will that possibly affect how fast this sells out? And I can tell you from, if anyone remembers the movie The King of Kong, about the whole Donkey Kong record attempt. It kind of became a cult thing. I mean, it was popular enough to get a South Park episode where they made fun of it. But I can tell you, in that movie, there's a part where they're at the Fun Spot, which is an arcade in Laconia, New Hampshire. And aren't you in that? Yes, I'm in the movie in several places. So look for me if you know what I look like. But it's mentioned in the movie, and in the movie they're at the tournament. They used to have a tournament there around June every year, like the classic gaming tournament. And the first year after that movie came out, they had at least three or four times as many people there that entered in that tournament that had ever been there before. so just from experience I would say I would not be surprised if it sells out even quicker it will just be I guess it's just me signing up for it this time dad will not be participating wow so it's going to be just the two of us we can make it oh no sorry my wife's coming possibly she wants to hang out with the cool people the king of the geeks but yeah she's supposedly going to be coming so that'll be cool hi Kathy I think Zach's planning on this year and of course Steven Bowden's gonna be there so boom right off the bat all done fun with bonus Steven Bowden and Master Zach Master Zach well they were both there last year so they'll be there again yeah well Zach wasn't there last year yeah he was was he he was 100 yeah he came to play he came to play And, of course, Eric Russell, both of them will be there. Both Eric Russells will be there. Or just one. Jason Flord will be there. So Kevin and... Kevin who? What's his last name? Kevin Manning. Very good. And Nick Lane should be there also. And Jeff Teolis should be there. And this is going to be a segue. Segue? Yes, to Jeff Teolis. he actually has a new podcast and he's a good friend of ours he's from Canada I'm sure they love that in Canada Jeff loves that I am going to make a request to Ron and I've made requests before but this one's on the air I want Jeff on Jeff has been doing interviews with a lot of the pinball players and pinball people in the market he's done Jody from Stern he's done Steven Bowden He's done a couple other people, and I want to have him on the show. And I've played with him many times. He comes down to Buffalo and plays in the Selfie League. He's actually come and won at the Buffalo Pinball Open. And I really want to have him on. He's a great guy. I have a good time with him. And he likes you more than me. So I think you'd be definitely involved with that. He says you're the better of the two hosts. Oh, oh, is that okay? That's his exact words. All right, so why are you asking me? like asking my permission like yes bruce you have my permission to get get him on the show i actually the funny thing is i usually get most of the guests already ideas yes bruce bruce is the social animal of the uh the duo definitely yeah yes i am i am the quiet reserved shy one yeah no uh so uh he his exact words were uh he's my favorite on the show but I'm second. I said, well, I thought I might be fifth since we've had guests on there. He said, nope, just ranking hosts. Very good. Yep. So Jeff will hopefully, I want to get him on either next week or the week after. And I want to get some more guests on. I'm going to ask Ron for a couple of helps on those. And then I want to get, hopefully, if Greg's listening, if Greg still listens to us, Mr. Pavarelli on also. Maybe with a Tim so they can have their hangout thing and go from there. Whoa, two guests? I mean, come on. We have enough trouble recording three without it failing. Well, we'll just try our best. Well, maybe if we have four on, then if two don't record, we'll still have two. Yeah. Beautiful. That's a great idea, actually. It is a great idea. So let's see. What else do I have on my list here? Oh, I figure we'd bring this up, or I'd bring this up. There was some confusion about how the new pin golf rules will work, the IFPA points. There is no confusion because you have the pin golf really easy and you get a lot of hole-in-ones. It would be a third of the point. But it depends on how you have your games and the average of your scores. That's how it's going to work out. Well, our friend Eric Russell took the blame. I think he said he explained it to you wrong. He did explain it to me wrong. Okay, it's Eric's fault. Let's move on. No, no. But this was on Till Forums. So we're like world famous in Poland again. Well, yes. Actually, Josh mentioned us. So at least a second episode he must have heard. Or someone else mentioned it to him. One or the other. Maybe that's a guest we could have on. I don't know. All the stuff we said about Stern, I don't think he can come on. Too much Stern bashing. Although he has gone on other podcasts who have bashed Stern. So maybe we do have a chance. I think we do. Okay. So sayeth the Bruce. So sayeth the Bruce? The Bruce. Oh, my. No ego there. No, not at all. Not at all. Never had it. But so the Tilt Forums, they were talking about how the pin golf will be changing for 2017. It will be going on an average. So if you get the average, say you have 24 players there and they average two holes, then the game will be worth two-thirds of a point. Or a two compared to a three or a four or a five. Whatever your average is will be going towards your percentage of the game. So if you have them really hard and nobody gets it, it will be full value for that game. It will be hard to keep track of, but it will be fun. So when you put your goal score of a million on Paragon, that will be good for the points. Yes. Bad for people, good for points. Good for points, yes. Bad for fun. Yeah, but the way I looked at it and I said it before is, guess what? I have 18 holes of golf. Even if I went with the lowest number of a third per game, it's still going to be worth six games. And then with my final setup, it will still be worth full value or almost full value. So I think with a little edge, we'll get up to full value on all, and there will still be a Finger Lakes Open. And maybe Ron will make it next year. Well, I will do my best. You better. I mean, if it's the same date as Freeplay Florida, I will not make it. Sorry. So, no, you better just fucking come. Screw Freeplay Florida. Screw the Florida Carl Weathers, the sun. Drive to Rochester instead. Yes. Yes. Oh, yes. Sign me up. Priorities are finally down. Yes, the priorities are finally down. Yeah, Bruce, I mean, before he went on the air, he's getting on my case for my music hobby. I'm not singular enough on pinball. No, you're not. I'm not focused. I'm not focused. I need to refocus. I need to go down and play more Ghostbusters and get pissed off. You need to wax on, wax off. Good Lord. Okay. Buff the car. Buff the car. Buff the play field. Buff the chip. And we spoke about this last week's episode. for Ghostbusters, the kit that Stern is selling is a EctoGoggles protector kit. Oh, so Stern's selling it. It is not a – well, they're giving it to people who don't have it. It's actually not selling it. It's basically you – if your serial number is before a certain number, you just talk to your distributor and they send it out. Okay. And it is a protector kit, which I thought was hilarious because – Bruce, how do you spell shield? S-H-I-E-L-D Very good. You know how it's spelled on Stern's site? S-H-E-I-L-D Correct. How did I know? Yes, not only that, when you click on the link, like the first two or three times it'll say page not found, and then it comes up. I don't understand that. I tried it from a couple of locations, too, and it does the same thing. So it's obviously something with their site. But kudos to Stern for doing that. I looked at my serial number. It is indeed below, or it is before they started putting this on the game. So I contacted my distributor, and supposedly it was sent out on Monday. It was going to be sent out on Monday. There we go. I will let the listeners know how easy it was to install. It looks pretty easy. You just kind of screw a thing to the side. Screw it to the side. Yeah, yeah. It's supposed to prevent ball hits. I hate when my balls hit the freaking goggles. Yeah, your balls hit the goggles. Oh, wow. There you go. There's another T-shirt, when the balls hit the goggles. You're in. Yes. Definitely. Yes. Protect your goggles at all times. So we got a bit of good news for Ron this week. We got good news? Cool. We did. What's the good news? Our buddy, Scott, who we need to get on also again, because we actually need you interviewing him. Yeah, we need to actually be heard. Yes. But Scott gave Ron some good news about Stern, old machines. Yeah, a couple of notes. I was mentioning when we got to, well, segue, segue. We'll get to the repairs and projects. Okay. I mentioned last week that I was working on the, or at least assessing the big game that I have, and how the lockdown receiver was just foobar, basically just rusted and not movable. First, I thought it was just totally broken. So, like, I'm screwed. How am I going to get one of these? Not only is it a 36-year-old game, but it's for a wide body. So it's got to be, you know, a different part, right? Incorrect. Scott corrected me to state that, no, it's the same size. And sure enough, I went down there and I checked. All I did was just compare the lockdown bar, my big game lockdown bar to the Stargazer lockdown bar, and the latches on the lockdown bar to come down there in the same exact spot on both lockdown bars. So it is the same bar, receiver. So I see their cheapness helped you. Yes. Yes, good job, Stern. So I was able to – I removed the lockdown bar, the receiver, from the game. I got it out, and really the only part that is broken is where the lever, there's a screw that the lever pivots on. Yep, it's about to break. It's just broken because I'm sure when they were just pulling on the lever trying to get the thing open, it just sheared off the screw because the sliding part would not slide. The same thing that happened to the one downstairs that Zach has, that machine is doing the same thing. I sheared off when we tried to move it. Okay. So, yeah, I have the same problem then working on that eventually. Yeah, so because I was able to remove it, I got it. I just goused it with a WD-40 rust remover and got it loose. It now slides. But I could use one, so if you guys have one. If you have one, yes. I will be interested. Scott, are you selling or are you buying? buying well uh scott well i'll i'll tell you all fair he he did give me a person to ask i don't know they would want to say we won't say we won't say a name well he gave me like his screen name anyway but it's on rgp and most of our listeners are probably in pin side so they have no idea what that is what's this pin side thing again god damn i gotta get to that thing yeah that pin side uh so yeah i got it off um it's it's moving nice now what i'm probably going to do is i will eventually I douse the other side of it because it's just got rust all over it. And then I'm going to, I think my father has a, he's got like a wheel, you know, he's got the wheel thing and one side is like the stone or whatever, like the grinder. But I believe the other side is like the steel wheel. And that's exactly what I need. I just want to get the thing on there. I think I can get the rust off of it. Why don't you just do this? Do you have a drill? I have a drill, but I don't have the right attachment. Well you just got to get the whole thing It comes up with like a bit Yeah like I said You can actually get the whole wire thing and then you put in your vice I know But I don have a vice and I lazy and if my father already has the thing I just going to take it to his house and do it Lazy! I'm sorry. Yep, yep. That's totally lazy and I don't have to buy another part. Once I get that cleaned up, I'll probably put a little of my favorite lubricant. Oh my! Oh my! Teflon lube, they used to sell it at, or they probably do, sell it at Radio Shack in a tube. The shit never solidifies and it lasts forever. I've had the same tube for like 11 years. It's probably still three-quarters full. And he keeps on working with it all the time. All the time, yes. I use it all the time for pinball and other things. No, just pinball. Just pinball. So I started to work on the Harlem Globetrotters. Yes, yes. I think I mentioned how it wasn't playing the tune like it's supposed to. Well, that's because the settings weren't right. It was just a dip switch on the board. Okay. It wasn't playing the tune, so I fixed that. The soundboard still is a little wonky. Cap it. Yeah, that needs to be – yeah, I'll be sending that out to be capped. Don't even do it. Honestly, it's so easy. Big Daddy sells the kit. It's like $9 and 12 caps. Yeah, but I'm going to be sending the other boards out anyway. Fail. Yeah, sorry. Sorry. Just, you know, certain laziness. The lights, you know, we had like half the lights working. Bruce will remember when he was there, but the globe lights wouldn't work. A lot of the lights weren't working. And after screwing with the lamp driver board, I was taking the connector out, putting it back in. It actually made it worse to the point where no lights were working. So I got an Alltech, put it in there, and I got like three-quarters of the lights working, but there still were some that weren't. And I traced it. If you remember, and you remember this, when you try to take the connectors off, it was extremely hard to get off. Yeah, it was. Specifically, the two connectors on the left, the ones that are in the backbox, they go to the play field also. But the two from the play field on the right were actually fine. The other two, though, were extremely hard to get off and put on. And they're the IDC connectors, so I repinned them with the crimp-on variety and all the rest of the lights were. Nice. Except where the sockets are total, which is, I'm probably going to end up having to replace half or three-quarters of the sockets in the game. Of course, this is Valley. Oh, they suck. Holy shit. Never had a deal with this with the old Williams games. The Valley and Stern games, their sockets just blow. They're terrible. That's why from when I got a pinball resource and I order stuff, I order sockets from him because he's the cheapest price for light sockets. And last time I ordered 100. Yeah, I might be there with you, man. Because the lights in the coin door don't work. When you open the coin door, they don't work because they literally are falling apart. They're falling apart like they're just like the worst sockets I've ever seen. So a lot of work ahead with sockets. But as far as the rest of the game, I mean, it's in good shape. Display? Displays are fine. Okay, I remember that one was a little flaky. I didn't know. Yeah, I never had. Oh, yeah. Yeah, maybe I'll re-solder it if it keeps being flaky. But actually, it's probably going to get replaced because eventually I'm going to do a seven-digit conversion on that one. Ooh. Which is easy because X-Pen has like a board and a kit, so you can just do it. And it works with all tech. It says right on there. Yes. And that really needs to be seven-digit because – No, Amprion really needs to be seven-digit. It's playing too easy right now just because it's not fast enough because it needs to be cleaned and, you know, made nasty. but I still had a game where I had like 800,000 on ball one. Oh, God. It must be like child's play. Well, it's just it plays too easy, and that's without extra balls. So that's going to be seven-digit conversion, which leads me to the other project, which I'll be working on, which is to convert my firepower to seven digits, which I started. I got parts for it and then kind of realized it's a little more involved than first anticipated. especially when you read some of the posts like, oh, yeah, I did the conversion. There's some things they don't really mention. For example, the first thing is the software itself, I mean, you usually have to modify the board. Luckily, I have one of the pinballpcb.com boards in there, excellent product, board set. And they allow you to use, like, the native ROMs. And changing the jumpers, you can make it a System 7 board, which is what it needs to be. And I'm getting custom ROMs from Scott. for this. That will basically... I got some of the cooler things it does here. If you ever play Firepower, and since I got more into tournaments, it's actually kind of hurt some of my enjoyment of games, because you end up like, well, to get the highest score, like on Firepower, you just hit the six targets, light the spinner, hit the spinner repeatedly. There's no point in getting multiple at all. None. It gives you nothing. It doesn't give you multipliers. It doesn't give you jackpots. It's just the gimmick of the game. You get multiple. You get nothing. Totally worthless. So his software, and I'll read it here. Let's see. Seven-digit scoring as a 4X play-filled multiplier if you have a three-ball multiball and 2X multiplier for two-ball multiball, as well as 2X scoring after multiball drains for a short period. the duration is determined by how well you played at multiball. So I'm going to give that a whirl. That'll make it cool. Like you'll try to get multiball and then hit the spinner to get like insane points, which again, you would need the seven digits for that. Otherwise, you're going to be turning it over frequently. But to do the mod, you basically have to make it into like a System 7 game, which System 6 games, the way the score displays work is the display that shows the credits and the match. That is like your master display, and that connects to the other displays. Yes. In System 7, there is an actual display board that's mounted behind the insert panel that uses ribbon cables to connect to all the displays. Yes, it does. and yeah, ha ha, that's why I'm like because I bought the X-Pen kit which is the board and the displays and Scott reminded because I've been emailing back and forth with Scott Scott reminded me, it's like oh yeah, you're going to need new ribbon cables like, huh? and I'm thinking like, oh yeah, yeah, shit that's right, but now I'm thinking, wait a minute that board's like in a different place I'm going to have to like, and I'm looking at it I'm going to have to mount the board in the back which means I'm going to have to like I'm going to have to drill through the insert panel to put screws through there, put standoffs to mount the board. There are slots in the insert panel that you can put the – Slots? Slots? Oh, shit. Slots you can – another edit. Your slots in the insert panel that you can put the ribbon cables through. So that will be fine. But there will be different lengths. So I'll be better off mounting the board first, getting everything mounted, making sure it lines up on the back glass, and then figuring out how long the ribbon cables need to be. And then I'm going to get those from Great Plains Electronics because he will make ribbon cables to order if you tell him, like, how many pins and what size. Okay. That's cool. That's really cool, actually. And I plan on doing the Harlan Goldtriers and the Firepower stuff before I even get to the big game. And also in the big game, the two metal pieces that are missing that go behind the upper flippers, Scott, once again, keep bringing up Scott. Man, we definitely need to get him back on. We keep mentioning him. He basically said the parts that are back there, which I do have pictures of what it's supposed to look like. It's just a piece of metal, like a guide, that screws into the play field. And he basically said they're total shit. total shit, the rivets are shit, and they break constantly, which would explain why mine are missing because they probably broke. Yeah. So he suggested using a, what he did on his, and he sent pictures, he used a, just for any big game users out there, he used a lane guide from a Firepower, but basically the lane guide on the right side, the shorter one, which is one they used on a shitload of games. So there's a lot of them out there. They used it on, like, Flash has them on both sides. You know what I mean? The metal lane guide that goes down with the standoffs. And he just cut the end of it off so it's just, like, maybe three-quarters of it or half of it. And he mounted that there and then put the plastic on top of it. And that took care of that. That should take care of the issue. Or as a – I believe Bruce doesn't – yours has the pieces. Well, not mine, Zach's. Zach's has the pieces. Yep. So if we had to, we can figure it out. Because you said you're a 3D printer dude. We actually are now selling 3D printers at my work now, so I have access to one. Ha. Ha. So I wouldn't mind trying, because if you do that, maybe we can get one that's the same, but better materials, so less likely to break. Maybe plastic, and I can make whatever color is available on the machine. Yeah. Just a thought. Yeah, no, I agree. We'll figure it out. You think plastic will be strong enough, or wouldn't that be worse? No, some of the plastics are pretty strong. You can actually mesh gears with them. So that's pretty strong stuff. Good stuff. Strong. Strong. Good. Strong. So my repairs, my Harlem, I replaced the power distribution board that mounts next to the transformer and had to re-solder all those beautiful connectors in. The rectifier board. Yes, the rectifier board. It's commonly known as the rectum board. the rectum board because it's fucking wrecked when you got to try to take them out and of course all my you know my wires were a little corroded so i had to cut back a little bit just get good copper again got it all working put the new board on there and hey i got this place back on the old harlem yay i lucked out on mine meaning that this is the second game in a row the rectifier board actually has been in decent shape and not burnt to shit mine was fine but then i've noticed that I had a burnt diode and I had a cracked resistor on there, a big monster resistor. Yeah. On mine, I think it was six fuses on there? Yes. The six fuses, I think four of them were wrong. Of course. That's surprising. Oh, here's the best part. The fuse holder underneath the play field, which I need to replace because it's getting bendy-wendy, like it's not holding it with enough tension. The fuse that's supposed to go underneath there is a 1-amp slow blow fuse. It's on the Valleys and the Sterns. Guess what fuse was in there? Four. 20-amp. Oh, hey. Hey, good thing none of the coils ever locked on. Yeah, I know. Actually, one of your, on the Harlem Globetrotters, one of the fuses will be wrong than what you're used to, what it says on the silkscreen. For the flipper fuse? You got it. Because it has three flippers? Yes. Yeah. Yep. So that's what you have to remember also. Remember. The worst case scenario, if you go by what it says on there, you actually have an underfused. You're more likely to blow it, yes. But just remember that always with your ballys. Your ballys need more fuse for more flippers. More flipper, more fun. More fuse, more fun. Maybe not. More fuse, more burn. I didn't get to Simpsons yet, but my list is getting smaller. I got to go to Simpsons next. I think that will be this weekend, maybe Sunday. And then I got to work on the pop for figure out what's going on with the sound on Sea Witch. So another favorite part of our show. Game you like. Game you hate. I'll go first. I'll go first. Wow. We got an eager beaver. Beaker Beaver. Well, I actually have stuff that I don't have to think of. Wow. At the top of my head, I actually wrote some stuff down. Preparedness. Wow. Yes. How rare. Or maybe I edited it. That's why I'm prepared. You'll never know. You'll never know. I will. Yeah, you will. Game to like. I picked Barracora before. I'm going to pick another one of their... Barracuda. No, not Barracuda. Oh, shit. Yes. I'm going to pick another one, and I kind of almost consider these twin games. These were games done in their down period in the early 80s where they were taking things out of the game. Like, the games didn't have speech anymore because it was too expensive. Video games were kicking the pinball's ass, so they were barely hanging on. So they made these two particular games, which got kind of neat rule sets, and they're really cool games to play. And they're both made around the same time. Yeah, Barracora and my pick for this week, Cosmic Gunfight. Good game. Very good game. Cool Back Glass. It's another one of those, like, dudes riding mechanical horses in space. Yes! It's remarkable! It's like, wow. Okay. And Game to Hate. Or if we'll do Chris Bucci, Game to Moderately Dislike. Because there is no hate. Oh, there's hate. Bruce got hate in his heart. Yes, I do. Roller Disco. Oh, no, that's truly just common sense. I could just pick any of those ridiculously wide Gottlieb games. That's one of them. Just sucks. Boring. It's too big. Too wide. Too wide. I am right with you on that. Oh, my freaking God. I am so with you on this. It's the all-yawning part. You were yawning last week. You're yawning this week. Yeah, I'm just a nightlife guy, you know. Oh, yeah, too much partying at night. He's been up until 3 in the morning repairing games, folks. That's why he's so tired. A game I like. We're going Old School Valley again. Surprise, surprise. Man, come on. Variety, dude. No, because this is variety. Okay. Aladdin's Castle. What the hell is Aladdin's Castle? 1972 Valley. An EM? Okay. Playing it a lot this week because it's actually at Wizards Pinball. plug time Wizards Pinball out in Syracuse he has one and I've been playing it a lot and it's actually I really was enjoying it it's got a nice spinner on the right hand side it's got a U-shaped loop almost like what CSI has on the right hand side this one has it on the left hand side on Aladdin's Castle you can loop and you actually increase your score every loop you make also has four inlanes up top three pop bumpers and lots of star rollovers It's got like the time fantasy loop thing. Yeah. Fun. Good game. Good game. Okay. Where's the hate in your heart for? What is it always for? Gottlieb 2. Come on. We're going to have some fun. Oh, man. Poor Gottlieb. You're going to agree with me 110%. Shaq. I don't know if I've ever played it. Oh, my God. And you are a better person. Oh, okay. So you're telling me I shouldn't play it? No, no, no. Because I know I play Frank Thomas, but I don't think I've ever played Shaq. Frank Thomas is another turd, and that could be next week's turd if we want to make it, but they're all the same. No originality at the end for that poor place of Premier. Just terrible rules, terrible games. No wonder they went out of business. Wow, wow. Poor Gottlieb, just getting bashed by Bruce. Well, Cheat Off is a good game. Yeah, it's one of the last ones. One of the last good games they had. I mean, they got ripped off by Williams. Come on. Gophers. Yeah, okay. That was a ripoff and teed off, man. Come on. They did the Gophers thing first. Yeah. And who did it better? Honestly, I like both games. I really do. It's a toss-up for me. I mean, I have the – again, I do have issues with the typical, the Gottlieb rule set where you have – they would have these games that you have these modes that are worthless, and then you have the multiball where the super jackpot is just so trumps everything in the game, there's no point in going for anything else. That's how, honestly, No Go Gophers is a little bit, too. The rules are all screwed up. They never got tweaked fully with rip and everything like that and yeah just ah that why mine was gone It amazing what rules can do Yep And what they can do Yes Is that the play field sucks I don care how good the rules are So we haven't had this in two weeks, but we're going to give you a couple games that you should go look on eBay for. Ah, yes. Weed Buy That. Weed Buy That, too. Don't forget the name of the segment, Weed Buy That. Weed Buy That. Yeah, Weed. Weed Buy Weed. Yes. Okay. there's two I know one you'll be interested in uh oh so are you bidding on it no no you be interested in black belt oh Jesus Christ yes that's the bally yes oh you stole now let me write that down game to hate for a later episode oh again I'd like to play one that works, but it's got the terrible, shitty, later-Bally flippers that I hate. It's got the shots that are hard as hell to hit. They are. Same crap. Yeah, the ramps that can't make it up. It's the same shit. I really like to see some of those type games with those flippers ripped out and the earlier-Bally flippers put in, just to see if it would improve it at all, if you could actually hit the friggin' shots this one looks pretty nice it's uh ticket number 282266219301 it's a little pricey twelve hundred dollars but for a good black belt that's actually if it is really nice that is located in uh finksburg maryland i think i kind of forgot the name of the segment was weed by that as i just said how much I hate it and I wouldn't buy it. Fair. And it says it's rare. It's rare. Which I believe it is. It is. I'd say so. Backglass, at least from this picture, doesn't look that bad. No, it's not that bad. Oh, yeah, it's got the plastic of the bald dude in the middle with his legs apart. Yes, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Because you're shooting it in the target up the middle. It's almost like you're hitting him in the balls. Oh, my. Oh, my. And the next one I have, there's another one I have. Little Chief. EM Williams. $500. Buy it now. In Indiana. Ticket number is 272466442453. Don't forget, we don't know anything about these things, but this one says, machine overall in good condition, just service, fully functioning, leg levelers need to be replaced, glass arts, nice shape, minimal wear. You know, hey, for $500, you get a pinball machine. Yeah, I'm looking at the play field now. Come on, sue me. Doesn't look that bad. No, it doesn't. It's got – does it have a spinner? No, that's the only flaw in the game. That's the only flaw, no spinner. But, yeah. Not bad. Williams EM goodness. And then there's one more. I would have to say I'd buy that. Oh, okay. Hold on. Let me get my bid up. Oh, you might. You never know. It's one of your favorite Sterns. We play it every time at Papa together. Flight 2000. Ah. That is in Ohio, Dayton. Buy it now at $1,450, a little high, but the regular price, $1,100, not bad shape. ticket number 2627392552282. It has free play. Mm-hmm. Whatever that means. Don't know. Put your bombs in it, maybe. The only thing that's bad about it, they don't show the center. So if I was going to be bidding on this, I'd be asking for more pictures. Yes, I'd be asking for more pictures because, number one, they only have four pictures, and one of them is the flyer. Yeah. That's always like, hello. I mean, he has 100% positive feedback, and he has 1,927 auctions, so he's got a good track record. But you always want to be prepared. Yeah, and you want to look, when you have something like that, look at what he's sold in the past. Yes. If it's, like, totally not pinball related. That way, in some ways. Well, you know, yeah, ask for more information. Yeah, he literally only has one picture of the play field, and that's the lock mechanism. Mm-hmm. Which never wears, except for really bad ones. And the rest are just, like, faraway shots with the glass on. Yeah. The back glass looks pretty nice. Yeah. Usually they do get a little... And there's a skeleton in the one picture, so that's good. Yeah, I know. That's kind of cool. What's that thing next to the game? Is that a water fountain? Looks like a water fountain. Like an old one. Yeah. Something, yeah. Like a doctor's office water, like a spray thing. Yes, like a dentist. Yeah, a dentist thing. Like a dentist in the 60s. Yes. Yes. Before they used to know the game. It doesn't look that bad. I'd buy that. I'd buy that. There you go. So that's the I'd buy that. Don't forget, we do not condone any of these pinball machines, but. Not condone. We don't endorse any of these pinball machines. We do not condone them. Or condone them. Why? Have they done something bad? Well, you never know, because then if the wife says, hey, they told me to buy this thing, weird out of Guilty Capardi. How come it's always the wife? The husband says, why'd you buy this? You know? It could be somewhere. I'd love to see that. Yeah, not as common. So, we're going to go segue into something else now. Oh, we are? Okay. My wife is actually going to be on Bro-Dew Pinball in two days. So when this episode comes out that night on Twitch at 8pm, I'll be in the background watching and rooting her on, but she will be playing Bro, Do You Pinball? Bro, Do You Even Pinball? I don't know. Do You Even Pinball? That's the title. Bro, Do You Even Pinball? Come on. Wait a sec. You're talking to the only person. It was 8-0. Yes, we know. Bow down before Bruce, the most ultimate player. You are Bruce. Well, what we got to do, like I said, we got to have the battle of the podcasts. I think we have to. We've got to do that. I'm going to bring that up to them. Which means I'd have to go to Buffalo, I'm sure. Yeah, but I think we can handle them. We'll see. We'll see. Competition is tough there in Buffalo. We're tough. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So she'll be on there. So Twitch, Thursday night, which is the night we'll be releasing our podcast, 8 p.m. Come check it out. Root my wife on. I'll be in the background. Buffalo Pinball. You probably already said it. Buffalo Pinball. Buffalo Pinball on Twitch. And check it out. Check it out. And what will they be playing? Or is it a secret? I'm going to say it because it's going to be put out the same day. So I can say it right now and it won't be out for two days. That's true. What game is missing from the house? I don't know. I'm not at your house. Actually, I do know because you said it before we went on the air. The future is great. The future. A future spa. Got it. Yes. So I must teach my wife how to tap pass in a day. Oh, it's not always necessary. Not half the time you end up tap passing it on the other side through the stupid little gap. Probably the most annoying gap in pinball. That little, like, inch, inch and a half gap that's there. You see that thing there, like, and just amazing how many times it drains through that thing. You got it. so anything else going on with you Mr. Ron I think that's about it I think it's been a healthy dose of pinball this episode 21 yep we're going to pay some bills now I guess go for it don't forget first my website www.pinballlifter.com or as Bucci would say pinballlifter.com hello Mr. Chris hopefully we have him. We've had a lot of people actually comment that they like Chris being on and everything like that. They had a good time with it, and we found some new followers, which is always great. Yeah, this is your first podcast that you've listened to us. Go back one and listen to the... My father thinks it's the best podcast we've had. So there you go. You get the ultimate endorsement. It is two hours, so I would not do it all in one sitting, but go for it. Yeah. Even Kathy listened to it on the way down to New Jersey, New York this past weekend. So this weekend, December 4th, Sunday, the fall classic at Rock Fantasy is going on from 12 o'clock on. I will not be going. Maybe Ron will be. I'm on the fence. Just because it's Sunday, it's a little harder. It's hard. You'll be there. If it was Saturday, I'd be there. Sunday, they usually have other stuff going on on Sunday. It makes it more difficult. So late. It'll be so late. But good luck to the players down there, Orange County guys. Next show coming up, next tournament, is Tis the Season of Pinball at Cloud City Games Comics, December 22nd, 430 to 830. Is Lando Carrizzi in there? Maybe. You never know. It's Cloud City. It is Cloud City. Check it out. It's hosted by the Syracuse Pinheads. All this information is on Central New York Pinball on Facebook. Also, next tournament, this is going to be a confusing one, the Buffalo slash Binghamton Pinball Holiday Hangover, but it's not in Buffalo. It's in Binghamton. Yeah, it's Tuesday. It's Tuesday night, 7 p.m., December 27th. If only they did it on Monday, I might have been able to make that. I actually have Monday off. Me too. Most people do. I was actually driving back from down below Monday. But nope, it's Tuesday. Bum, bum, bum. But Binghamton people, have some fun. Go there. Play. Play in the tournament. One more thing we got to talk about. And we're both hopefully going to be in it. I know I'll be in it. I don't know about this other guy. The Upstate New York Pinball Championship, January 21st. We are trying to figure out the locations, and we have two nominations so far. And you didn't even put a nomination in, did you? I did not put a nomination in. I'm wondering how I even have a vote. Because you're the Albany guy. I am the Albany guy. Well, there's only one location that I know of, so. There's actually two. There's two? Okay, what's the other one? Zach. Zach's parents' house? Yes. Okay. He's got 17 games there, so. Yeah, and I've never been invited over there. What's up with that? Come on, Zach. Of course, he doesn't listen. You need to get on him for me. Come on. What's the deal? Let's go. So it was my house that was nominated by Nick Lane and Moon Walker in Binghamton. So there's six people that can vote, actually seven, and we'll be voting, I think, next week if no other. Was Moon Walker official? Because I think you stated that. It is official now. It's 7 o'clock tonight. I just got the email stating that he is ready and up for it. Hopefully he is. I told him that 16 good players are going to be coming there. And the game is going to get a lot of play because it's going to be five games per round, double elimination, so a lot of pinball being played on those games. Hopefully he's up to the challenge if he even gets voted in. Don't forget, seven people are going to vote. So it's either going to be in beautiful Bloomfield, New York, or beautiful Binghamton, New York, unless somebody else steps up with another place. Yeah, I don't think Orange County said they didn't have anybody. Nope. Nope. Timmy's two games won't cut it. Nobody in Syracuse. I'm surprised no Syracuse or Buffalo. But we cannot do Albany unless everyone chose and voted for Albany and changed the rules. Yeah, no changing the rules. No changing the rules. Keep the rules. Rules are rules. I agree. But one person did bring that up to me. Well, for the Orange County guys, it would probably be a quicker drive. To Binghamton, about the same. That's about the same. Okay. Yeah, it's two hours. That's all for the tournament shows for right now in the area. All right. Anything else? No, I'm done. You sure? I'm sure. You mentally done? Physically done? No. I'm awesome. Come on. So thanks. Once again, thanks. for listening to episode 21. Star Trek Beyond. Beyond! Now, wait, now next week. Oh, what are we, oh God, what wonderful thing we're doing. I already know what we're doing next week. Let's do James Bond movies, because that'll keep us for like 30 movies there. That would actually be one of my two picks. Is it going to be James Bond? Or? Or MCU. What the hell's MCU? Marvel Comics Universe. No, no, no, because I don't know any of those. Well, you should do. You know Iron Man. He's an incredible Hulk. You know, out of all those Marvel movies, my mother's seen more of them than I have. I've seen Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. That's it. I haven't seen any of the other ones. Okay, so we're going. The vote is now settled. We're going for Bond movies. Which that will keep us for a while. There's 27 movies. God, yes. That will be going almost right to 50. Woo-hoo! Yes. And I'll know at least the first 15. Do you know the first one? Of course I know the first one. But we'll say it when we... We're not going to wait until next week? It's Dr. No. Of course it's Dr. No. Okay, are we going to include, like, Never Say Never Again? Are we going to include, like... Yes, you have to. We do, but that's not an official Bond movie, technically. It's Chronicle Order. Chronological Order. But that's not a Bond movie, though. That's not an official Bond movie, technically. Or are we just going to do stuff that has James Bond in it? Because then you've got to do Casino Royale, the original one from the 60s, the parody movie. If you want to do – if you're going to do that. Yeah, you have to. You have to. So there was, I believe, a television special that he was on too. We'll officially go by the box set for Bond movies. Okay. So Never Say Never Again is not on that. Okay. And neither is Casino Royale, the 60s. Yeah, the 61. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. So, okay. And then my wife just gave me another idea, in case you want to change it, Mel Brooks movies. That could be all over the place. Well, you just go in chronological order there, too. Yeah. But it kind of like, the whole thing we've been doing is series of movies. True. It is series of movies. I agree. So we'll go right to, we'll go right for the Bond. I'm Bond. James Bond. James Bondage. Don't play my pinball machine, because it's bad. Really bad. Either pinball machine. No, GoldenEye's good. GoldenEye's okay. GoldenEye's good. I like GoldenEye. GoldenEye's okay. Yeah. Okay, compare it to James Bond. Oh, definitely. It's awesome. I don't like my crotch being worn. Jesus. One of the better ball saves. The magnet in the out hole. Yes, and your out hole gets worn. Yeah, the out hole gets worn. You know, you've got to protect your hole. How would you protect your hole in that game? A whole lot of mylar. You're going to get a magnet where it are. What you do. All right. So thanks, everyone, for listening to episode 21 of the Slamtail Podcast. You can find us on Facebook. Just search for the Slamtail Podcast. You can find us on YouTube. Just search for Slamtail Podcast. You can send us e-mails. And please do, because we didn't have anything, any e-mail to respond to. Yes, we did. Again. That was Scott. Oh, okay. Yes, but any questions? Remember, we do tournaments. We do repairs. We do collecting. We do everything. We'll know something. We're a jack-off-of-all-trade master of none. Or just tell us we suck. We'll say your name on the air then. Yeah, we do suck. We do suck. So that is at slamtiltpodcast at gmail.com. Dot com. So say goodbye, Bruce. Goodbye, Dave Romanowski. Thank you.

competitive_signal: Pin Golf format rule change for 2017: switching from full-point scoring to average-based IFPA calculation to balance difficulty variance across venues. Scores/holes-in-one will be weighted by player average rather than fixed values.

high · Ron: 'if you have the average, say you have 24 players there and they average two holes, then the game will be worth two-thirds of a point.'

  • ?

sentiment_shift: Community sentiment cautiously critical of premium LE pricing at Stern, particularly Batman 66 Super LE. Hosts acknowledge manufacturers 'can get the money' but question value proposition. Jersey Jack comparatively viewed as better value for features delivered.

medium · Ron: 'instead of just bitching about how the prices are too high... I'm just trying to take a more logical approach.' Later: Jersey Jack LE 'is the best deal' vs. Stern's larger gap.
